The Regency Reviews

The Regency is absolutely the best place in Central Minnesota to get married. We had to push our wedding back to July 2021 due to COVID, and Katelyn was with us every step of the way for two years answering questions, helping get things set up and, the day before the wedding and the day of, making sure everything ran smoothly. It was absolutely perfect. The space is completely redone and absolutely gorgeous - we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We had the BEST experience at 912 Regency Plaza. The staff was all around amazing; our coordinator, Kasey, helped prepare everything for the wedding day, as well as made sure everything was running smoothly behind the scenes. The catering staff was friendly and efficient, and the bar staff was very attentive. The space is beautiful and the staff will help you make your dreams come true here! We had a unique table set up for our reception and they said, "no problem!" Our wedding day was in winter and so we had many photos inside, and unlike many venues, there are many places to take amazing photos indoors here - but the outdoor patio on floor 3 is magical, no matter what temperature it is! We could not be happier with our experience here! The price is also very reasonable. We would recommend Regency 11/10! P.S. Book the Bridal Suite - it's so glamorous!

912 Regency Plaza is in a great location, down town St.Cloud and is absolutely gorgeous inside! Very pretty entrance and more than enough room in the ballroom for dinner & dancing. Has a very pretty view over Lake George and has a great outside balcony for guests to be ale to step outside but still be part of the party. Has a very helpful event coordinator that works with bride & groom to help the wedding go on without a hitch!

We had the BEST experience from start to finish with Katelyn and 912 Regency Plaza. Not only is Katelyn a pleasure to work with -- such a positive energy and quick to respond to questions - but the venue is also beautiful. The bridal suite is a MUST.. this was probably my favorite part of the venue. It was convenient to be able to leave our belongings in the room overnight, and also set the tone for the day with such a glamorous, relaxed space! The dance floor at the Regency is perfect. A great size and a great view. We kept it full all night! Our guests loved having the patio as well.. the lights out there make for some great photo ops :) I would highly recommend the Regency!

Very helpfull and met all of our expectations!

We used Regency Plaza for our ceremony location and it was GREAT! We worked with Katelyn Kelly who is awesome and super helpful with everything! They typically have ceremonies on their dance floor, which we had hold 140 people with no issue (I believe it can hold up to 180). On our wedding day, it rained during the ceremony and Katelyn even thought ahead to turn on the globe lights on the patio. This is such a small detail most people wouldn't even think about doing, but is just one example of how awesome and talented at her job she is. We also had our rehearsal dinner here and the food through Short Stop catering was phenomenal and everything went over really well! This is a great place to work with!

We used 912 Regency Plaza for our rehearsal dinner venue. They are very great to work with and have a very beautiful space!

This is a beautiful venue to hold a wedding at! It has an elegant natural beauty. It holds a large number of people. The dance floor is somewhat separate from the dining room, which is great for people who don't want to dance so they can hear each other. The only issue we had was once the wedding coordinator left after the speeches, she turned off the speakers so the DJ could only make announcements in the dance floor area. The people in the dining room didn't hear when there was the first dance or any other announcements that were made.

-This is my only complaint: We booked 18 months out. The initial wedding coordinator was great. Then someone else replaced her and this coordinator booked out the "Signature Room" [bridal suite/bar later in the night] to another couple. Now, that room is offered to the party booking the ball room first. Therefore we had no room to get ready in. That coordinator left and the new coordinator gave us her office to get ready in. New coordinator is SUPERB and organized

- I wanted a space for ceremony and reception. This offers both. If your ceremony is greater than 200 people, holding your ceremony there would be very crowded. However for just a reception it is very spacious. They say it holds up to 325 guests.

-Good value in St Cloud. Ceremony and reception are included in price.

-Add the signature room to your package. This is on 2nd floor and is beautifully updated. Can be used to get ready in the morning and then as a bar later.

-There is a salon and coffee shop in the building. We did everything in that building the day of and traveled 1/2 a mile to lake george for photos. Was so nice not to have to drive around all morning. We went to one building for everything. Salon is great and priced like you would find elsewhere. They do hair and makeup

-Beautifully decorated, elegant ballroom theme. Has a LARGE dance floor in the same "room" as reception/dinner area but is separated by a hall way to provide two different areas

-Exclusive contract with Custom Catering, the BEST caterer I've ever tasted. People raved about the food. Our vegetarian guests said it was the best vegetarian meal they've ever had at a wedding. They are so organized and provide delicious filling meals, not a small piece of meat and dollop of potatoes to feed you. Custom Catering also does the bar. They were fabulous and managed our open bar limit so well. Ended it $100 short so that they wedding party could have free drinks all night... and we never even asked for it!
