From the Mother of the Bride: The Red Horse Barn venue and event planning company AAEI were top-notch. Every aspect of the event flowed smoothly and it was beautiful. The venue itself is magical. The site tucked away in the Equestrian area. Both Michael & Robyn of AAEI gave many great suggestions for the right vendors for my daughter's wedding. The packages are mostly all inclusive. Florals, caterer, dj, videographer, bakery, etc. - we were thrilled with the outcome. Everyone that attended said it far exceeded their expectations and I have to agree (we had 133 at the wedding and had plenty of room). Even the bride and groom's preparation suites on site were very spacious and private. My daughter absolutely loved the magical and upbeat vibe of the reception. I would highly recommend the Red Horse Barn and AAEI.

We just had the most perfect wedding at the Red Horse Barn.

Michael & Robyn - From day 1, they made the process so much easier than you'd imagine. They always return your inquiries in a timely fashion, they make sure you have everything prepared, and they go out of their way to make sure everything is how the couple wants it to be. These 2 have been doing this for a while now and it shows. They don't just know what they're doing, but they understand what you want based on your comments and they have streamlined the process to perfection. By having the DJ, Bartender, caterer, cake, etc all together, it makes the process so much easier as you know these vendors are constantly communicating with one another.

Robyn, the Day of Coordinator, was unbelievable on our wedding day (and of course prior). She has the entire thing down to a science but in a way that is warm and welcoming. She made sure our drinks were always filled, that we had appetizers and food at our table. She had everyone in their right places. She made sure our gifts, cards, and personal decor was properly packed and ready to go. There was so little for us to actually do because Robyn was in control of everything. Everyone's lives would be so much easier if they had their own personal Robyn! Weddings are stressful, but Robyn makes sure it’s as stressless as possible.

The venue - Absolutely stunning grounds. Don't do a generic golf course or banquet hall wedding like 90% of people. Dance outside under the lights, stars, and gorgeous floral background, instead. You will find the atmosphere so charming.

The food - Amazing. I know I'm biased, but they have some of the best food you'll ever have at a wedding. And plenty of it! No one will walk away hungry from your event at the Red Horse Barn. Days later, people are still texting us about how much fun they had and how good the food was!

DJ Andrew Yates - Awesome DJ. Communicated with him through email and he played all the music we wanted and nothing we didn't. Everything went off without a hitch and people had their boogie shoes on as a result. Andrew pays attention to your desires and makes sure to make it happen.

Floral - Again, stunning Dianne has a unique talent for arranging florals for bouquets and for decoration. The arch was decorated so lovely with flowers that were eventually moved to the gazebo where the cake cutting takes place. People kept telling us how beautiful the venue and floral looks!

Cinderella Cakes - Wow, excellent cake vendor. You get a 3 tier cake with 3 different flavors and fillings if you desire (we did) and everyone loved our cake. Way more cake was eaten than I'd expect, especially given that we brought our own ice cream sundae vendor as well.

The staff - I’ve praised Michael and Robyn and they both deserve it. But the rest of their staff is also just as amazing. From the bartender to the rest of the staff, everything was seamless. They will bring drinks & food to the elderly/disabled for them. They make sure everything is set up just right. They're barely even noticeable but the times you do notice them they're smiling and clearly helping out. Our guests have come up to us to tell us how great the staff is; something I wouldn't have expected. Michael and Robyn have put together an A+ staff.

If you can do you wedding here, do it. You won't just not regret it, you'll question why you even looked elsewhere!

PLEASE please please do yourself a favor and book this venue! Michael, Robyn, and their team took care of everything so that we would have the night of our lives without any worries. The only two things that went remotely wrong were my bustle breaking, which Robyn( the day of coordinator) was quick to fix with a sewing kit, and a beer bottle breaking that was cleaned up within seconds. I am horrible at planning and indecisive but the red horse barn made it easy to plan this wedding. They provide so much including food, drinks, cake, decor, flowers, DJ and more so I didn’t have to stress about booking a ton of vendors or trying to coordinate how everything would get to the venue.

The venue and flowers were so beautiful and it felt like a little tropical hide away in the middle of Huntington Beach.

The food was delicious and they insured my husband and I had full plates as soon as we sat down.

The drinks were tasty and strong and someone was always replenishing them as soon as we finished one.

Our dance floor was going off all night! The dj was great at feeling the crowd and not only playing songs and genres we wanted but also crowd pleasers.

Everyone says there are things that are going to go wrong on your wedding day and my husband and I are so impressed with how carefree and happy we were on our big day thanks to the flawless job An All Inclusive Event at the Red Horse Barn did.

My husband and I had our wedding here in April. We were looking for a venue close to home where it would be an easy drive for us and our relatives. We had heard about red horse barn from others and We had viewed many venues but when we instantly fell in love with red horse barn and Robyn and Michael. The entire staff is tremendously respectful, and truly cares about your day and what you want. The venue is beautiful and they truly transform it to be exactly what you imagine and envision for your wedding day. We still have people calling us today saying how amazing the wedding was, how fabulous the food was, how fantastic the bartender was. Michael and Robyn and the entire staff were respectful to our guests, they checked in on us throughout the day, and if there was any minor hiccup you’d never even know because they handled it and the day was perfect. Their vendors are carefully selected and they all work so well together the day goes so smoothly. I wish I could do it all again and have the day replayed because of how perfect they made it. (Vow renewal?? :) ) I truly and highly recommend booking them, this is YOUR day and you want a place and people that support your vision. Book red horse barn, you will not regret it!

We just got married here at the beginning of June! We had the best night of our lives as the title says. So many guests told us how much fun they had. We were dancing all night long. From our first meeting with Michael we knew we would be taken care of and all the details no one thinks of would be covered by the team. The venue felt like a tropical garden in Italy with the lights strung across. The food was unreal, and they made sure we (bride & groom) got to enjoy all the appetizers and the delicious food that we had picked out. Michael and Robyn were super helpful during the planning process. Their prices are transparent and on their website, you don’t need to call to get the real numbers (unlike other venues). Please get a tour with them, Michael is so thorough and you’ll understand just from that meeting why your wedding will go so smooth with them.

The Red Barn is an absolutely perfect venue for weddings! Our wedding was perfect in every single aspect and we could not thank this team enough. Robyn the day of wedding coordinator was there from the day that we booked the venue until we left the venue on our wedding night. She helped us with every question and worry that we had, she had the day of timing down to the perfect minutes and she was there if we needed a drink or a jacket. The venue team was very helpful and professional in keeping everyone on track and making it stress free! They set up the venue just how we wanted with the decor package and more. The florist did an absolutely beautiful job on making exactly what I dreamed of. We can't thank them enough! Our guest were raving about the food and continuous service that they received throughout the night. The DJ was very open to what music and request that we had and was great! The Red Barn will not disappoint and I would recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect place to get married!

We used the Red Horse Barn in April for a beautiful celebration of life for a family member. The professionalism, responsiveness, and creativity of the staff made the event absolutely perfect. Since I lived out of state, I relied on them to help me determine the best set up for a location that I was not able to see in person prior to the event. They spent time on the phone explaining the best set up option for our program, colors fitting of the event and my aunt's personality, and they connected me with local vendors for catering, floral, and DJ. They knew we had limited budget for the event and that we were concerned about rain, so they worked with the wedding couple the day before to come up with a mutually agreeable table/chair/tent plan that saved both parties considerable cost. Questions that arose prior to the event were always clarified, and services on the day of the event were perfect. Guests found the staff helpful, friendly and down-to-earth. If I ever had the need for a formal event in this location, I would not hesitate to work with this group again. They are gems!

The red horse barn hosted our wedding a couple weeks ago and it couldn’t have gone any better! From our flowers, to the food, to the dj and photographer everything was perfect! It was a smooth process and til this day, we are still getting compliments from friends and family about how beautiful everything turned out. I give this venue and staff a 10 out of 10!

From the very first tour at the Red Horse Barn, we knew we had found a hidden gem of a venue, right here in Huntington Beach!!! Every single member of the staff is incredible! From the very beginning of our tour with Michael we were instantly sold! He was funny, knowledgable, and his passion for weddings was clear— as well as, the venue is beautiful and one of a kind. From all the planning stages- up to the big day, everything was an ease! Robyn (the most incredible coordinator!!) was so helpful and any time I texted her - she had an answer! Without her, I don't know what we would've done!!

Another note - the venue has so many offerings - the “All Inclusive” option was top notch!!!!! DJ/MC, Floral, Food, Bar, Rentals, Decor, etc., as well as amazing recommendations for photo/video/photobooth!! Not having to find all our outside vendors was a game changer!!

Everything was beautiful, stress-free, and perfect! We could not be happier! All our guests keep telling us, “this is the wedding of the year!!!!”

THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. On our honeymoon, not only did we reflect on that perfect day but also that genuine love and kindness we felt from our first meeting. It was then we knew Michael and Robyn were that dynamic duo we needed to make our wedding special. Michael was so responsive and dedicated to making us feel important, Robyn was so patient with me and gave me things I didn’t even know I needed or wanted and Diane the florist is the definition of perfection so much so that I preserved my bouquet and flower girl halos.
Going into the wedding everyone always told us when things go wrong don't let it derail your day. We fully went into the wedding with this mindset knowing these things happen. But WOW were we wrong. Everything was beyond perfect and not a thing went wrong. It was so perfect that 5 months later I still get compliments on how kind and attentive the staff was and how usually weddings have something that doesn’t go as planned but ours was one that will be remembered for years to come.

The experience of getting married at The Red Horse Barn can be summed up in three words...effortless, magical, and gratifying! Michael and his team make you feel welcome from the start. From the moment you sign your contract to saying good bye at the end of your wedding, everything is easy, exciting, and fun. The team is organized and detail oriented. With the all inclusive package, they took care of everything including: DJ, cake, flourist, caterer, staff, decor, and day of coordinator!

We got married on January 27, 2024. Our wedding was better and more magical than anything we had imagined. We are still having guests from our wedding commenting about how our wedding was the best one they had ever been to due to the atmosphere and friendly staff! This venue exceeded our expectations! The owner, Michael, is so sweet and so caring. The food was absolutely incredible and they put on a fabulous wedding celebration. My husband and I definitely recommend this venue for others. You will not be disappointed!

Me and my now wife decided to have our wedding in early February which sometimes can be quite difficult for an outdoor wedding. I could not have asked for a better venue to help us out on our big day. Our wedding went without a hitch and it was all due to the staff. They handled everything including the problems that arose the day of. Because of the staff our day of issues were non existent and we didn't have to worry about anything including a last minute tenting due to weather and when i say last minute i mean the day before. Absolutely, hands down, the most incredible experience EVER!!!!! My husband and I were recently married here and do not have one single complaint! From start to finish, the whole process was absolutely seamless. Mike and Robyn are SO organized and top of things, and made the process so simple for us! All of the vendors were provided to us and were all incredible! The florist, DJ, catering company, decorations, videographer, Photo Booth,, all of it!

Both Mike and Robyn are extremely personable, very responsive and easy to talk to. The whole planning process went extremely smoothly and we were so excited for the outcome and to see it all come together. We were absolutely blown away the day of our wedding!!!! Their team is absolutely incredible as well. By the time we showed up to the venue, most everything was put together already and everyone was working so hard and so well together to make our day exactly the way we envisioned it. All of their staff was so helpful throughout the whole event and really made the day and night truly spectacular. We've received MULTIPLE compliments from guests about how gorgeous it all was and how amazing the staff was. We cannot recommend The Red Horse Barn highly enough!!!

This review has been long overdue, my husband and I got married here six months ago on May 21. We had the most amazing and incredible Wedding here, Michael and Robyn really made sure to take care of everything and leave you stress-free. As you can tell by leaving the Late review, I am a huge procrastinator and having an all inclusive Wedding made it’s just so much easier. I really didn’t have to worry about too much except for the small little details. The day of Michael and Robyn both move heaven and earth to make sure that everything goes so smoothly and there’s honestly nothing I would have done differently! Because it is all inclusive all you have to worry about is hiring a photographer, picking out the DJ from their options, meeting with the florist and of course wedding cake and taste testing! They also make it really easily by having recommendations for photographers. Because I knew that they were taking care of everything this made those little events so much more pleasurable and less stressful. I cannot think them both enough for giving me my dream wedding and having it go perfectly and smoothly. Even though we were running behind in time they both made everything work and took all the stress off of me. If you’re looking to have a wedding I recommend the red horse barn, you cannot go wrong and have so much to gain. Six months later we still have family talking about how this was the best wedding they’ve ever went to and the food was so delicious. So look no more, this should be your next wedding venue!

My Daughter and her new husband were married on September 16th, 2022, at The Red House Barn, the place was absolutely beautiful. The food was excellent the staff was great they took care of everyone. They were polite, funny and great to be around. I feel the bride and groom picked the best place to have their wedding, it was absolutely beautiful.

Red Horse Barn surpassed all of my expectations. When my now husband and I were looking for a bring your own vendors venue we were discouraged because most event only venues were not our style, but when we found Red Horse Barn our eyes lit up because we had found the ONE!

From the first time we met Michael at The Red Horse Barn and took the initial tour, we knew this was going to be where we had our reception. Michael was seriously so amazing, he constantly called to check-in, answered all our questions and constantly offered to help. I cannot thank him enough.

I know it is rare for a couple to have their wedding and Red Horse Barn and not use ALL INCLUSIVE EVENTS. So when I had initially booked I was a tad concerned that Michael or the Red Horse Barn team wouldn't be as attentive, but man oh man was I wrong. I spoke with Michael more then I spoke with the day of coordinator I did hire (hehe).

Michael was more than helpful when it came to the venue, paperwork, and was attentive from start to finish. Michael made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, he managed the shuttles, and did so much more.

I can't stop raving about this place. I would do it all over again & again. I can't thank Michael enough for always being so detailed when answering my questions. It made is so easy when I was communicating with my vendors.

Choosing this venue to hold our wedding led us to having the dream wedding we have always wanted. I cannot say one bad thing about The Red Horse barn, Michael, Robyn and their team behind the All Inclusive Event. Since the initial tour we felt taken care of and felt like our wants and needs were heard. Not only was Michael and his team understanding and accommodating during the Pandemic, but we also had to postpone due to a cancer diagnosis for my fiancé. Not only did Michael and his team grieve with us while helping us navigate wedding planning with the uncertainty of the pandemic and empathize with us as we got my fiancé’s health condition in order. They helped us plan our dream wedding and when the day came, our dreams came true. When I first walked the venue in my wedding dress heading to my first look with my fiancé, I truly felt like a bride and had butterflies in my stomach as I saw the beauty that the Red Horse Barn exudes. You can see the dedication of this venue with the hard work they put into the venue itself and how hard they work day of your wedding in making sure everything is beautiful and perfect. I can’t thank Michael, Robyn and the entire team at the Red Horse Barn for helping make my dream wedding come true. Highly recommend the all inclusive event at the Red Horse Barn. Micheal and Robyn made sure everything that day was perfect. The flowers were gorgeous, the cake everyone was saying how moist it was, the food was delicious and the best they have ever had at any wedding. There was plenty of food. The bar tender was great and having an open bar for 4 hours was pretty awesome. The whole process and the day of the event was stress free.

I don’t even know where to begin! Our wedding was absolutely amazing! From the first time we met Michael at The Red Horse Barn and took the initial tour, I knew everything was going to go smoothly. Michael, Robyn and Teri are seriously all so amazing and I cannot thank then enough. They went above and beyond to make our special day absolutely beautiful. Michael was more than helpful when it came to the venue, paperwork, and was attentive from start to finish. Teri & Robyn were so great, the decor was amazing and the food was spectacular. In fact, we had about half of our guest list come up to us and our parents and make comments on how delicious the BBQ was. The food was absolutely to die for, and I would highly recommend the BBQ option for everyone. The decorations were absolutely out of this world, they created my dream wedding and I wish I could relive it every single day. Another note I’d like to add is that with a group of 180 people, it’s not always easy to keep the peace.... our group was having such a great time, there was no drama.. even the bartenders commented on how polite and enjoyable our group was and vice versa. Our family had nothing but praise for the AAIE STAFF!

We loved our venue so much, hidden and tucked away from the road... it was a beautiful rustic outdoor venue like I always wanted but close to home. The sunset through the trees sets for beautiful photos and the horses give it a rustic feel but then you have beautiful greenery landscaping and palms everywhere... everyone takes about how beautiful this little hidden gem was! We were happy with our venue and LOVED our event planning with their exclusive All Inclusive Event!

Our experience with The Red Horse Barn was amazing. Through the year we were planning Michael and Robyn were with us the entire way! Even on the day of our wedding when rain was coming down all around us they took great care to make sure we and all of our family had a wonderful day! It was everything we had hoped for and a lot of that was because of the amazing offerings included in An All Inclusive Event, I could not be more happy with how everything came together. I love how it all worked out! The team was amazing! Decor and how the event was organized exceeded my expectations. The venue was just a dream.

Everyone at The Red Horse barn was amazing, they did everything they could to make sure our day was perfect! Michael and Robyn are the best! The planning process was super easy and the venu is just beautiful.

My initially review was over 2,000 characters long because of how much I loved the venue. So here is a summary of what I wrote: Hidden down a “country road inspired” trail, the Red Horse Barn opens up to a spacious and beautifully landscaped courtyard, accompanied with break-taking lighting and of course a rustic barn. We immediately fell in love. If the venue was not perfect enough, we then met the venue director Michael. Michael made us feel extremely comfortable from the moment we met him. Professional, sincere, helpful, funny, and passionate. We book Red Horse Barn, All Inclusive Events, and the "added" decor package. Teri's catering: OUT OF THIS WORLD. Cake: absolutely perfect. Florals: I cannot brag enough about Diane and her father Hampton, whom did our florals. From the bouquets to the boutonnieres, centerpieces to the guest table, arch floral to the gazebo florals, they captured my vision flawlessly. To enhance our florals, was our décor package! The items in the décor package that we used included; a rustic wooden bar, lanterns, a gazebo lace sweep, mason jars that hung on the ceremony aisle, various signs, and misc. items hand selected by AAIE. Robyn was the coordinator that I always dreamed of; professional, extremely kind, hardworking, relaxed, reassuring, and the list goes on and on. From the day I met her she told me that she would make sure everything went seamless, and she absolutely did. Responding to my constant emails, fixing any last minute changes, making sure my bridal party was corporative during rehearsal and the wedding, immediately fixing any tiny issues that came up, constantly making sure that my husband and I were having the time of our lives, and so on. We cannot thank Robyn, Michael, Teri, and the rest of the team at RHB & AAIE!

The red horse barn was a beautiful venue and it was all I could've ever asked for. Michael helped my dream come through by proving me the option to go with his services through anallinclusiveevent.com. I had not only a beautiful venue with the horses around but it was much easier having professionals walk me through each step. I would definitely tell everyone to come and atleast check out the venue, you will fall in love just as I did :)

We celebrated our July 16th wedding at the Red Horse Barn. This venue was the perfect fit for my and my hubby’s rustic/country themed wedding. With my husband raised in the midwest and myself raised in California, we loved how this venue managed to have both a beachy and a country feel to it. It was the perfect blend of palm trees and an ocean breeze with horses and barns.

Michael, the event coordinator and owner of An All Inclusive Event, was so helpful in working with our budget and helping us to get the most for our money. Robyn, our day-of coordinator, was very present throughout our planning process and kept in close contact in the year/months leading up to our wedding. The day of our wedding, she made sure everything went smoothly. Both Michael and Robyn were so thorough in their planning. They share in the creative process and helped us with even the smallest of details. They are passionate about what they do and the couples they work with and it shows in their work. They listened to our wedding day vision and helped bring it to life. From start to finish, they were so wonderful to work with! This place is definitely an amazing and beautiful place to have a wedding. Michael the venue director and Robyn the coordinator were so professional and made me feel so special on my day! It is a very homely place and has a beautiful rustic feel to it. I loved every second of my wedding because I knew everything would be in good hands with the 2 lookin over everything. I definitely recommend to anyone who is getting married and looking for a great venue with an amazing inclusive event package! I want to get married over again just so I can spend time at the red horse barn over again!

I can't express how much I appreciate Michael and Robyn's efforts in making our wedding the BEST day ever. With their help, planning the wedding, decorating the day of, and getting us through the day's events was easy peasy. Michael was always very responsive, and was very patient with me and my crazy-bride indecisiveness! Robyn kept me on track with the coordination and getting the necessary things done on time. They are both super nice and helpful, and I feel very lucky to have had them be a part of this exciting time! Everything came out so beautiful; it was perfect. I miss that day already-- it's been less than 2 weeks! I wish I could have a wedding there every month :) Thank you guys again for everything!!

We could not have been more happy and satisfied with choosing the Red Horse Barn as our wedding venue. The setting is gorgeous and the few horses in the stables really added a unique and magical feel. All of our guests said it was one of the best venues they had ever been to. We really liked that we had the ceremony on the East side of the venue and the reception on the West side so that the entire wedding was in one location. By being outside and open the wedding was not fragmented so that you could be at say the photobooth or the bar and still see the dance floor. Everyone loved that. The Red Horse Barn is great since you are essentially renting the venue and can cater and decorate the venue to your liking making this a truly blank canvas location for a wedding. The venue director Michael Leitao was excellent to work with and was extremely flexible in helping us with our needs. He even drove us around the surrounding areas in a golf cart so that we could take some amazing photos post ceremony. Our wedding planner Shelly Fronk at S&S Event Services was incredible as she has planned numerous weddings there and we would have been lost without her!

The Red Horse Barn is a beautiful place to have your wedding. The venue is extremely friendly and very accommodating to your needs. Michael was great!! I strongly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outside venue that is beautiful, comfortable and rustic.

Michael, Terilyn & Robyn were an amazing team for our wedding. As director of the venue & our wedding coordinators, they worked so hard to make sure that our wedding day fit our vision. We currently live in New York so planning a wedding from thousands of miles away was difficult but Michael & Terilyn were available to meet us anytime we were in town, unlimited calls and emails and made us confident enough to trust their judgment when it came to the day of. The venue itself was amazing as well. My husband and I are both from Huntington Beach--down the street actually!--and until we went venue shopping we had no idea this place existed. A lot of our guests even commented that they hadn't known about it either. We loved how secluded it felt from the nearby busy streets, and for the first week of August, how much shade there was in the evening. Can't recommend The Red Horse Barn enough!

Mike was amazing to work with from the moment we scheduled our first visit to check out the location. After seeing the venue we booked our event that same day. We had just over a month to plan everything & any last minute questions I had Mike responded right away. This venue comes just the venue alone but he's got a great vendor list to go off of and I think we used everyone from his list. The help that was there the day of was awesome as well. We loved every minute of our reception at the Red Horse Barn.

Shelly & Shea were AMAZING - they filled in all the gaps in our plan and they coordinated the event flawlessly the day of. They were so helpful and kind and they had so many extra details thought of. We couldn't have done our day without them!!

Our wedding at the Red Horse Barn was more spectacular than we could have imagined. We ended up booking our wedding here after losing another venue 65 days before our event. The coordinator, Carolyn, was SO helpful and warm. She recommended an amazing planner/coordinator for us to work with and she was present for me every step of the way. It was THE BEST experience we could have asked for and it was BEAUTIFUL!

The Red Horse Barn is a beautiful venue that was the perfect setting for our wedding! The bridal room and groom's room are so charming, so perfect for us to get ready in! Carolyn, the wedding coordinator, was so sweet, kind, efficient, and a pleasure to work with! She made our planning easy and smooth! I loved the barn...the flowers, gazebo, landscape, horses...everything there is beautiful and perfect!

I'm the mother of the bride so had a lot to figure out and complete since my daughter and fiancee lived in Nevada. We booked this venue over a year ago. It was beautiful when we booked it. As the wedding got closer we tried to call people at the venue and everytime it seemed the person no longer worked there. Finally we got a person that is permanent and sooo easy to work with and that is Carolyn Miller. We then started going to the venue to check it out and unknown to us they ripped out a lot of plants and it looked so horrible. We were so scared and mad that this was not what we had booked. Carolyn assured us they were planting new plants. After about a month the venue looked beautiful. They did a top notch relandscaping. So happy. We had a few concerns and Carolyn was there EVERY time to work with us and come up with a solution. I would definitely have a wedding there. All our guests kept saying they didn't know this place was here. You don't feel like you are right off Goldenwest and right behind horses. No smell AT ALL!!! Everyone looked the set up. Perfect weather with a nice ocean breeze.

We absolutely loved our venue!! We picked this venue because we were having a country chic wedding. With the barn and the horses, it was perfect for what we were going for. We can't wait to get the pictures back. The fields are so perfect for pictures. Being an August afternoon wedding, we were a little concerned that the wedding was going to be very hot, but because our ceremony was on the grass the guests had the perfect amount of shade. The venue does not provide anything, except for restrooms and valet (for additonal fees) so it is definitely a DIY venue.

Absolutely love love love the Red Horse Barn!!!! My husband and I just had our wedding reception there on August 20th, 2011 and we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect and amazing. The site is so beautiful, very secluded feeling, creates a wonderful intimate atmospher and has such amazing facilities and beautiful decor. Our guests keep complimenting the Red Horse Barn and how beautiful our reception was because of the great reception site. The entire equestrian center is beautiful and we actually took most of our wedding party and bride/groom pictures around the stables and trails that were around the site. I highly recommend the Red Horse Barn for all wonderful events, but especially for a wedding ceremony and reception. We had 150 guests and we still had lots of room to spare. The open grass area was great for lawn games that our guests played while enjoying cocktails and appetizers. The weather was also perfect. Our reception was at 5 in the afternoon so the sun was still shinning a lot, but it was never really hot because their is a great costal breeze that goes through the Red Horse Barn. Jennifer is the site manager and she was amazing to work with. She helped us organize things and always kept us informed of stuff that was occuring at the site and gave us great advice on cateres, rentals, DJ's, etc because the Red Horse Barn is only the site that you rent. Thank you so much Red Horse Barn for making our wedding receptin so amazing!!!

We loved the outdoor venue and so did our guests! It's different.....and it was perfect for our wedding day.

Amazing venue. Perfect outdoor ceremony and reception venue. We had an evening wedding there and had to do very little decorating and the place looked amazing. The string lights around the building were perfect. We had no flowers at our wedding, just candles for the centerpieces and it was perfect. They were very helpful and responsive. We were able to have our rehearsal at the venue the night before and they were always welcoming us to come and see other weddings to get ideas. The gazebo with rock fountains was perfect for the ceremony and we had much more than enough space for our 100 person wedding. The venue does not allow for loud music to be played after 10pm and this was something that concerned us at first, but it worked out great, we had plenty of time for dancing and partying and our wedding didn't peter out at all, we had lots of friends and family left at the end of the night to help us pack up our stuff!

Perfect venue for a perfect wedding!!

The staff at the Red Horse Barn was amazing. The were very responsive and answered every question that I had in a timely manner. They also providing my a list of amazing vendors that assisted my in planning my wedding. Every single one of my Guest commented on the unique and amazing venue. They all thought that it was beautiful.

This venue is amazing. Large and beautiful. We had over 250 people and the venue was perfect for the ceremony and also the reception - all outside. Even though it is at a equestrian center, you cannot smell any kind of horses. The site manager, Jennifer, was so easy to work with and so helpful. We LOVED everything about it. Would highly recommend this venue. Make sure the weather is at a good time of year, as it is all outside. No way to move to the inside in case of bad weather. Also, remember you have to bring EVERYTHING in, as they only provide the venue. They have great references for vendors at really good prices.

So glad I choose this place. Could bring in my own beverages, and food. The venue is beautiful. All the guest rave about this spot. It truly made my wedding perfect!

The Red Horse Barn is a lovely venue for a wedding!! We loved everything about it. The grounds are lovely, There are lots of green plants, flowers and trees and a unique waterfall.
It's a peaceful secluded area. We were there in the evening and loved it. We worked with Jennifer of The Red Horse Barn, she was very helpful, and a joy to work with. Our caterer, Denise was pleased with the kitchen facilities and had no problems preparing dinner for our 120 guests. We heard compliments from many of our guests about the venue, and would highly reccommend THE RED HORSE BARN to any bride and groom for their wedding day.

The best hidden gem wedding venue in OC! My husband and I searched for a unique venue and found our match, here at the RHB. Loved the greenery, horses, bridal room, grooms room, photo op areas, catering area, and mostly the flexibility to customize our wedding with specific vendors. We got married on 10.17.14 and got so many compliments from our guests about how awesome this venue was. Thank you RHB for providing an amazing experience for our wedding day!!

We absolutely LOVED our wedding at the Red Horse Barn. We fell in love when we first went to the venue and this was before the landscaping revamp. If you are looking for a place that you can get creative with and bring in most of your own vendors then this is the place for you! We were on a pretty small budget for the OC area and did our fair share of searching our best options. We had NO idea this place even existed, but thanks to Google we found our perfect venue in the Red Horse Barn. We couldn't have been happier with how our day turned out. Carolyn made the whole process so easy and she was VERY quick at responding to all our emails and happy to go above an beyond for us within the means of her job. We had SO many people rave about how the venue was amazing and it was the best wedding they ever attended. For the ease of planning we ended up using most of our vendors off the preferred list and we seriously couldn't have been happier. The recommend the most professional and talented vendors in the industry. Everyone we worked with was a pleasure to plan with and have onsite the day of. I always felt like Carolyn genuinely cared about my husband and myself. She understands how to manage a venue and the stress of a bride. I love this venue. I got married there 2 weeks ago and every one of my guests complimented me on the location. It is cozy without being cramped and unique with an elegant feel. The staff was wonderful to work with both in the planning stages and day-of. They provided a great vendor list and I used a couple of their recommendations, but they were totally open to using outside vendors as well, as long as they can meet Red Horse Barn's somewhat strict insurance requirements. We had the In-N-Out truck at the wedding and the venue was really great about helping arrange everything and plan the logistics of the truck setup. The only negative is that the venue doesn't provide anything in terms of rentals: you have to bring in your own tables and chairs and anything else you need. But even this added expense was totally worth it to get married there. If I had it all to do over again, I would still absolutely choose this venue.

Everything was great! We had a wedding that was even better than what we had imagined... something hard to believe. The venue was naturally beautiful and unique and the perfect spot for our beautiful ceremony and reception. Our contact, Jennifer was so helpful from beginning to end and worked hard to accomadate all of our requests.

My wife and I were very pleased with The Red Horse Barn. It was a wonderful value and the place was beautiful. The only suggestion we had was to supply more lighting for the evening venues. It got pretty dark after the sun went down. Other than that it is an awesome place.

My husband and I fell in LOVE with this venue the moment we saw it. We had been searching for about a month and every time we saw a different venue this is the one we compared it to. Its rustic, romantic, private, spacious. Its a country venue with an ocean breeze, we couldn't have been happier with our choice, the horses on the venue make everything so peaceful and the landscape all around the venue makes for BEAUTIFUL pictures. There is a bridal room and grooms room, plenty of room for your wedding party and very comfortable.

What can I say about the Red Horse Barn? We used it as our wedding reception site only, and I couldn't have imagined a better place to have it. It is located within the Huntington Beach Equestrian Center, but it felt like we were secluded in the country side away from the city having our own magical evening with all of our family and friends.

Michael Leitao, the director of the location, did a great job guiding us through what works well and what doesn't at the R.H.B, and was prompt in returning emails if we had questions. We even got to use the location for our engagement photos for free. And he was there with his trusty steed (a golf cart) to take my bride and I away for sunset photos around the property.

I guess my favorite thing about the RHB was to be able to customize the site to exactly what we wanted. We were able to bring in our own caterer, the beverage provider let me bring in some of my own alcohol and my own kegerator (with kegs of beers in there) to serve. We had lawn games for everyone to have fun with. It just goes on and on as to how awesome of a place this is and was for us.

I'm still speechless as to how everything ran so smoothly and how happy I am (and we were) to have picked the RHB.

I just can't say enough about Michael and all inclusive events for their help in making my wedding at red horse barn absolutely perfect! The venue is gorgeous and amazing for a wedding with a rustic or vintage feel. From every last detail Michael and his preferred coordinator Robyn who helped with my wedding they made sure my day was perfect. They are so professional and also a lot of fun to work with. The only thing I would say is a little bit of a bummer about the venue is with it being all out doors if you have to rent tenting due to weather and rain the venue charges extra hours for the tents to be put up and would be nice if they would have a weather waiver to allow for extra time for tenting due to last minute weather. Also was wonderful how all inclusive events had everything extra for final touches I needed to rent to make my wedding theme absolutely perfect down to the very last detail. The Red Horse Barn was a perfect ceremony and wedding location for us. I have grown up in Huntington Beach and moved to England a couple of years ago. I really wanted to have a HB wedding but not the typical hotel style wedding. RHB has an awesome outdoor feeling without being to "rustic!" The coordinator, Jennifer is super easy to work with and had a lot of good vendor recommendations! We used her catering and photographer contacts and both were great!
The only downfall is that you have to be done by 10 due to sound ordnances, but to be honest after a full day of getting ready, the ceremony, talking to a million family and friends 10 is a good time! We had an after party with a few select people and it was a great mellow way to end a perfect day!

Red Horse Barn was an amazing venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. We could not have been happier to share our special day at the Red Horse Barn. Shelly our coordinator was amazing and knew the in's and out's of the venue making planning the event ten times easier. I would recommend this location in a heart beat!

This venue was GORGEOUS! We ended up having amazing weather and it was so beautiful. We had a little problem communicating but my wedding coordinator was right there to pick up the slack. It is unfortunate that it is not inclusive with seating etc, however with the right caterer and the right coordinator it all came together beautifully. I am so happy to have chosen this as my location, and other than a couple of tweaks that I know i would do after the fact i had a great day and wouldn't change a thing! I cant wait to see the pictures now!

The moment I set foot in the venue I knew this is where I would love to have my reception, and after speaking to the coordinator I was convinced that this was it! Many services where offered to choose from, we decided to hire a few recommended vendors and some of our own, they all worked together and the event turned out better than I expected, considering I planned my wedding in three short months. It's a great venue the view is gorgeous and if you like an outdoor setting this is perfect! My guests enjoyed it very much. Everyone was treated well, and went home happy.

This is an awesome venue! It's a DIY sort of place. (you have to get your own caterer, rentals for tables/etc, bring in decor, the whole thing).

We wanted a backyard feeling wedding & this venue allowed us to have it. It's all outdoors (except the bathrooms are inside a small building). The beauty is you can do as much or as little with the space as you want. There is an area for games if you wish, a gazebo (which we used for our "photobooth" area) and plenty of space for dinner/dancing.

They are easy & accomodating to work with. They do have some rules however to adhere to. As long as you respect their conditions, it's a perfect outdoor location. (for EX: you must use a pre-approved DJ from their list of 3 & you can't have live bands due to noise issues) and you must place the DJ in a particular few spots.... Also, they have a certain # of VIP Valet spots but the rest must be shuttled from a lot across the street (which we were fortunate to not have to use due to the QTY of guests we had)

Overall great place! My wedding was perfect, fun, laid back & just a blast. The open venue & blank slate it provides to make it your own is what I loved most.

This venue was perfect for my quaint little wedding. I had about 100 guests and i wanted a place that was close to the beach and i could have both my reception and my ceremony at the same site. The site is gorgeous with its classic gazebo, tree lights, fountains, and perfect bride and groom rooms. I highly reccomend this venue!!

We had a little bit of a rough start with Red Horse. Our contact person left the job and was replaced halfway through our planning. During this transition, we had a hard time getting info from them, and once we had a new person in place, it turned out that a lot of what we had been told originally was incorrect. However, they were flexible with us in terms of trying to honor the things we were originally told.

We had a great experience with Michael, the venue director. However, some of our vendors, including our day of vendor, had a different experience with the staff, often feeling like they were being treated with less politeness than was expected. Several times we were given a hard time about things (told we didn't need to rinse down the barn, then told we did) but things were always able to worked out (my mom talked to the venue director, for example, and he said we didn't need to hose down).

All in all, we had a positive experience, and the venue was absolutely beautiful. Parking was easy -- I was worried about the shuttle, but it turned out to be no big deal. We had a perfect wedding day, and would recommend the venue highly. However, I would say you need to keep notes of everything you discuss, save emails, and don't be afraid to stick to your guns.

I think the hardest part for me was the one million dollar event insurance required for each vendor. It cost a total of five hundred dollars to have my vendors insured. The setting was beautiful and the atmosphere lent itself strongly to the beauty of my wedding. The woman in charge of setting up the weddings was very nice and professional but is not a wedding coordinator. You have to outsource every vendor individually including rental companies and caterer. Overall though it was beautiful.

The venue is beautiful, and just what I wanted, but we had a lot of problems with slow communication over there. We could never call directly, we always had to wait for a return phone call. Also, there is not air conditioning in either the brides or grooms room. I got married in the heat of August and I did not know that they didn't have A/C until one of my bridesmaid's friends told her, they didn't tell us that when we were viewing the place. We were melting away. Shelly, the site's day-of contact, was helpful and worked well with our wedding coordinator. The site doesn't not come with anything, you have to outside all your vendors and they MUST have a 1 million dollar insurance to be accepted in. It's a pretty venue and you can do a lot with it, but know all of this going in before you book it. If I did, I might have booked somewhere else.

At the time we signed the contract I was 100% happy with the venue, the location, the cost, the coordinator, Carolyn, was WONDERFUL to work with- I could text, email, call and she always answered/responded within a few mins, etc. But 6 months into the planning (and 4 months prior to our wedding date) the venue let the coordinator go and did not hire a replacement. From then on, the planning and coordination was a disaster. I was never given a contact (because there wasn't on for weddings) and trying to get someone on the phone was a joke. It was at a horse barn where horses were boarded and the location we were getting married at was outside and always accessible because it was a horse business. Every time I went there to look at the venue with my vendors, we just walked it by ourselves and never saw an employee. The week before my wedding, my sister in law finally got a hold of someone and had them meet us onsite to finalize details. They tried to tell me that I couldn't do my layout I was planning (ceremony in the grass, dj here, food there, etc.) when I was given the layout suggestions IN WRITING by the coordinator 10 months ago! At that time, I had already met with my vendors and showed them where they would be setting up. I panicked and luckily my sister in law is pushy and demanded that we were keeping it the way we planned it to be the past year and we got our way. And I mean these were serious changes like the ceremony wasn't allowed to be on the grass anymore, buffet couldn't be on the grass, um, they have grass on site and now they don't want me to use it a week before my wedding?! With this all said and done, my wedding day was beautiful, it was perfect, the details were ironed out and worked out perfectly. It was a scary experience for the last 4 months I was wandering lost without anyone to talk to on their end but I just kept doing my thing. The location is beautiful, if you choose this venue, I hope they have hired and new coordinator.

Beautiful wedding venue; however The RHB doesn’t have proper permits for events. My contract included a live band until 12am, a month before my wedding Jennifer told me that I could no longer have live music due to the loud noise. I had already paid for the band and the $1 million insurance. Jennifer and the owner of the place ignored my calls. I called HBPD and asked if there had been any reports of loud live music on The RHB and they said NO. I called the City of HB and told them my situation; HB City told me that The RHB is a private property on City Land not authorized to host public events but since I had a contract they would make note so the police wouldn’t stop my wedding! On the wedding day the valet crew helped themselves to our food/drinks, Jennifer did the same and she didn’t congratulate us and the security stole our alcohol bottles. The police show up by 10pm; the officer informed us the complaint was reported by The RHB and not from the neighborhoods; he said that this place usually does this to end their events early. Nice place horrible service!
