I highly highly recommend the Queens Bees!! Jenn was so communicative and easy to work with, and set me up with an amazing team and bulletproof day-of schedule. Aly and Amber, who did my hair and makeup, were absolute magic workers! They were so patient and thorough with making sure the looks were exactly what everyone envisioned for their hair and makeup, and kept the vibes in the bridal suite relaxed and fun. I was obsessed with how my hair and makeup looked and everything stayed in place all day, surviving an unseasonably hot day, a ceremony in full sun, and so much kissing and hugging and dancing.

These hair and makeup artists went above and beyond for my wedding. I had the pleasure of working with 3 amazing ladies on my big day, Katie, Katy and Megan and they made my mom, mother-in-law, bridesmaids, and me look absolutely stunning. The best day of my life!
Hair and makeup are so personal and on your wedding day it is so important for everyone in your wedding party to look and feel their best. The ladies at the Queens Bees made everyone from the moms to the bridesmaids to me as the bride feel AMAZING! We all looked so beautiful and the whole day went incredibly smooth. The ladies were so patient and helpful and personalized the look for all the different styles of each girl. For me as the bride, the trials also helped to make sure I had exactly the sparkle and glam that I wanted on my wedding day. Paige did my makeup and I would recommend her to anyone. Jessi did my bridal hair and did such a great job, working with the old headpiece from my mom’s wedding seamlessly and practically (my hair stayed all night!), I would definitely recommend her. Natalya and Alex also did an amazing job on the bridesmaids and I am so thankful to all of them for their amazing artistry and for making the day so much fun and so full of pampering!! I would highly recommend the Queens Bees to anyone looking for professional hair and makeup in the SLO area!!

The Perfect Wedding Weekend at Ella's Vineyard!

The Queen Bees were the perfect choice for our wedding. Jennifer helped us set the schedule for the day, and Paige and Ashley helped me achieve the exact look I wanted on my wedding day. I wanted to look like myself, but better (and not like i had too much makeup on) and my look was spot on. The team was so professional and touched up all the girls’ makeup before pictures and the ceremony. Worth every penny. I highly recommend them for any wedding!

My bridal party, my mom, mother of the groom and myself all had beautiful hair and makeup, all thanks to the talented team at Queen's Bees. I still can't believe how gorgeous we all looked and were thrilled at how talented each of the stylists were at giving everyone a unique up-do and natural makeup style that looked flawless for the entire day. My daughter, the bride, selected The Queens Bees to provide hair and makeup services on the morning of her wedding. Our wedding planner recommended them and we weren't disappointed. Talented and organized. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day!!
I hired Queen's Bees to do hair and makeup (Kayla and Ashley on hair, Paige and Amber on makeup) for 16 (!!) women/girls (me the bride, bridesmaids, moms, stepmoms, flower girls, and others for my wedding on May 21, 2022, and I was completely blown away by their talent. I (and at least one of my bridesmaids) are very picky about our makeup and have not historically loved getting our makeup done, but Paige and Amber crushed it!! All of my ladies loved how their hair and makeup turned out and everyone looked stunning. Not only are the Queen's Bees artists talented, but I was so impressed with how organized they were about juggling 16 people and seamlessly adjusted when we had a few of our ladies not show up on time for their appointments. They were so timely and kept everything running smoothly AND made the getting-ready process so fun and exciting. They were also super flexible and accommodating with our requests. Jenn Hix, the owner/manager of Queen's Bees, was also wonderful to work with and on top of all coordination from the point I booked Queen's Bees up through the wedding day. I can't recommend Queen's Bees enough! Don't wait - just book them!

Beyond amazing!
Highly, highly recommend Jen and her girls to all brides looking for hair and makeup!! Not only are their skills beyond amazing but on the day of your wedding your makeup artist becomes your therapist and Jen was that for me. I woke up with a little more than a hungover from my rehearsal dinner and Jen made sure I ate, and had some quite time. She was correct when she said I would feel brand new after I got out of her chair and she wasn’t kidding. After my full face was on I was ready to walk down the aisle!

The Queens Bees are incredible!!! From my trial to the wedding day, they were amazing to work with! Despite being the busiest woman, Jenn is extremely responsive and makes sure your day runs smoothly. Additionally, the artists are so, so insanely talented. I had Adelita and Sky and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They were both so intentional, kind, professional, and encouraging. I felt SO beautiful on my wedding day and these two women played a HUGE role in that. If you go with The Queens Bees and have the pleasure of working with Adelita and/or Sky, you will not be disappointed. I can only imagine how talented and amazing the other artists are! I've never looked better
Call me vain... but the most important thing for me was looking perfect on my wedding day. The girls and I ended up looking amazing! Jen was so accommodating and helped us figure out ways to take my trial to the next level which Amber executed perfectly. Apparently I have difficult skin and nothing was lasting but through the trial and retrial we finally figured it out and it was perfect for the day of. Janina also was very accommodating to my hair type and got my hair vison perfectly without a trial. Overall I am very happy with my selection.

The Queen's Bee, led by Jenn Hix, was so incredibly sweet, supportive, and responsive over the course of our wedding planning and through the pandemic. She arranged a schedule with two of her hair stylists to do hair on the morning of our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Kayla and Janina were absolutely the sweetest and did a stellar job with the 6 bridesmaids, mother of the groom, and bride. The Queen's Bees is next level for hair and make-up! I booked them pre-pandemic, and Jenn was so accommodating when we had to reschedule our date. She did my and my wedding party's makeup and it was incredible, exactly what I had hoped for. Janina did our hair and all I can say is WOW. She totally nailed it and I got the Pinterest hair of my dreams! The process for setting up the hair and makeup trial was super easy and Jenn sent me a very detailed schedule for day-off. They stuck to the schedule 100% which means we stayed on-time and I was able to relax and keep calm. Not to mention I felt stunning, and got so many compliments! Jenn and her team are the best!

The Queens Bees is a team of amazing hair and makeup artists. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the area because they truly take great pride in their work! My makeup was beyond what I could have imagined and they worked wonders on my little sister. My mother, who recently won her fight against breast cancer back in 2020 had various length hair was my biggest concern because I wanted to make sure she felt beautiful. WOW! The joy, talent, professionalism
I don’t know how I got so lucky to work with Jenn, but my goodness, THANK YOU!!! From the very beginning, Jenn was so understanding and always quick to respond no matter how insanely busy she was. When we had to postpone and go through the uncertainty of COVID wedding planning, Jenn was incredibly supportive and kind, even as she had to navigate her own COVID wedding and other life events. From my bridal trial to the day of, Jenn and her team were incredible. I had the pleasure of working with Jenn for my makeup and Kayla for my hair, and they both could take my frazzled/fragments of different bridal hair and make-up inspirations, even when I changed my mind a little after trials, and helped my wedding come together into a beautiful day! We had quite the group of 13 women from all age groups, so I was slightly stressed with such a big and diverse group, but the Queen Bee’s knocked it out of the park. Everyone looked gorgeous and finished on time, which is seriously impressive! The attention to detail and sweet souls really added something special to the day. Jenn was more than just my incredibly talented make-up artist of the day, but like a friend I have known forever and brought me such peace and laughter throughout the morning. I wish I lived closer so I could make up all kinds of excuses to work with them again! I would absolutely recommend them to ANYONE looking for a hair and make-up team. Jen is amazing, thoughtful and so organized! I had a weekend long Indian wedding with an early and tight timeline, she was able to accommodate all my family and friends during our wedding weekend. Jessi from the Queen's Bees did the BEST job with my wedding hair and makeup! I decided to do a trial beforehand, and was so glad I did. She was incredibly receptive to my requests, and created a look for me based off my description and pictures of what I wanted. I even went for a run after my hair and makeup trial, and by the time I was done not a hair was out of place! Everything about the experience with The Queens Bees was great! Jenn is amazing and it’s really fun to work with her. She figured out a perfect timeline for the wedding day that considered all my wishes. My hair and make-up was done by Megan and I absolutely loved it!! I showed her some photos of of what I liked and she created the perfect look for me. It was even better than on any of the photos I showed her! I felt like she totally understood me and created a look that fit me perfectly. She was also super flexible with some last minute changes. I can absolutely recommend Jenn and Megan!!!

We have already referred them to friends who are getting married in the area! Every bridesmaid was completely impressed with their makeup and hair. Their attention to detail, and their understanding of specific requests from each woman, was amazing. Great ideas and creativity. Such an incredible experience! Adelita was a magician with makeup, and put a ton of effort into reading each skin type and customizing each woman's makeup applications. Chloe took the time to listen to each woman's wants, and then worked very hard to deliver those wants in the hair styles she created.

Jenn & Jessi are Truly Incredible!!!
I wouldn't have trusted many with the job of hair & makeup on my wedding day but Jenn & Jessi truly knocked it out of the park! When I told them retro makeup with Brigitte Bardot hair, they knew exactly what I meant. Jessi put in clip-in extensions for me that day and made them look so natural - she also added this incredible fishtail to my hair and made my bridal hair comb look even better than I thought it could! Jenn also did such an incredible makeup look on me with winged eyeliner, big false lashes, and dark red ombre lips. I've never felt more beautiful in my life or received more compliments. Plus, they both have such great, positive, easy-going energy and that's what you want on your big day!
Would so highly recommend the Queen's Bees. Can't say thank you enough, Jenn & Jessi, for everything you did for me!!

Jenn and her glam squad are amazing! They really listen to your preferences and make suggestions to get you the look/vibe you want. I had other trials that left me feeling very blah, but she made sure I loved it and felt as bridal and beautiful as possible.
Plus, the ladies at Queens Bees were SO. MUCH. FUN. They did a trial for myself and two of my bridesmaids, and we wanted them to be our best friends. We laughed, we joked, we told stories - THE BEST. It was more fun to have people there who we loved and had great personalities - really set the vibe!
Plus, Jenn was fantastic over email/phone/text. She responded quickly, scheduled out the day/artists (we had 4 hair/makeup artists for 8 people), and even stayed a couple hours extra (for a fee) so she could refresh my hair/makeup after the ceremony and couple portraits.
Every stylist we had the day of was on time, on her game, and awesome. You can't go wrong with these bridal angels!!

Simply Amazing!
The Queen's Bee's was simply amazing to work with! They are a collective agency of hair and make up artists but they only let in the best! Jenn is who I communicated with for the majority of the time to set everything up and she was super responsive and helpful! The actual artists I ended up working with were Rece for hair and Alex for make up and both went above and beyond my expectations! I was super happy with my hair and make up at the trial but the day of the wedding it looked even better which I didn't think was possible! They both are clearly amazing at what they do - all of our hair and make up was flawless and they are able to work so quickly we were never worried about timing! They happen to be brother and sister which made the whole situation even better - the day of the wedding they made myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom laugh continuously for hours! They were also super sweet and would ask if there was anything else they could help with, it really made our day so much more fun and relaxing having them there! I would highly recommend The Queen's Bee's especially Rece and Alex for your big day as they are fabulous!

I was very happy with the Queen's Bees! I had a great trial with Brooke and Jessi and they did the same great job on the wedding day! I had 12 bridesmaids so there was a lot of makeup to be done. We had four stylists come to the venue. Brooke, Jessie, Cloey and Alex. They all did great work. I wanted everyone to just look very natural and they delivered. The airbrush makeup is awesome and lasts all day and looks great in pictures. PRO TIP - do not be afraid to give notes or changes during the process. I was picky and felt demanding, but each stylist ensured me that they WANT to hear what you like and don't like so everything is perfect.

From the very beginning Jenn was kind, responsive, and professional when I e-mailed for hair and makeup for my engagement session. I'd loved her photos online. In person....OMG SHE IS AMAZING!!!!!! Yes, she made me look beautiful, but, more than that, she made me FEEL beautiful and glamorous! I was so much more confident going into our engagement session after spending a couple hours with her. How I wish I looked like that everyday! It was honestly depressing washing all her gorgeous work off. Jenn made me look like the very best version of myself.
I seriously want to put her in my pocket and take her magic makeup talents with me everywhere ?? Wish there were more closeups to show her work, but it stayed on the entire shoot and into the night...in 90 degree heat!
We had a little hiccup, but all it showed me was that she was willing to do whatever it took to make her clients happy and that she truly cares about her business. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends, family, or even strangers on the street! She was that wonderful!!

Jenn and her team were INCREDIBLE!
From the start, I was in love. Jenn is incredibly responsive -- which I really valued.
The whole team made me and my bridesmaids look absolutely stunning (if I do say so myself). I'll note that all my girls are naturally pretty, but wow, I have never seen them look so incredible. One of my bridesmaids even noted that she loved her make-up and hair better for my wedding than she did for her own.
In the past, when most of us have had our make-up done for weddings we felt it was caked on and would melt off our face as the night went on. And for our hair, usually the curls are flat by the end of the night and you can't tell what the original look was. We definitely didn't feel that way with Jenn and team. They did a great job highlighting everyone's natural beauty and making us not feel like we were drowning in make up.
After the trial, I made a few changes and was one of those picky brides that brought some of my own make-up that I wanted to use. Jenn rolled with the punches and didn't mind a bit. Katie did my hair and it was absolutely perfect (better than I even pictured it would be). Beyond that, she did my mom's hair - twice. The first round, she nailed it and my mom's hair looked exactly like the inspiration photos. After a little while, my mom realized she needed her hair a little different and Katie had no problem making changes. It was so great how flexible they were and how much they made each one of my favorite women feel special and beautiful. It was such a relief not to stress over what we looked like in pictures for the night with such an incredible team helping to make us look our very best.

My beauty team was absolutely perfect for my wedding day! Jenn (makeup and owner) and Janina (hair) were both amazing. They worked with me through the trial and on the wedding day to achieve the look I wanted AND it lasted through the night, as promised, in spite of 103 degree temperatures and lots of tears. They also made my sister and mom look beautiful and they were the perfect addition to our day. Beyond their skills within their respective trades, they were supportive and even gave input as I fleshed out my vows in the chair. A friend who is in the wedding industry recommended The Queens Bees and I fell in love with their instagram page. I had Paris for hair, Asha for make-up and Jenn assisted them for my bridal party that consisted of myself, 4 bridesmaids and both mothers. These girls did an amazing job! Everything turned out so perfect and they were such a delight to work with on top of that. Email coordination was prompt up until the day of and I was incredibly impressed that the girls all showed up early the day of in order to set up. I cannot even begin to express how kind and accommodating Jenn and Katie were for my wedding. Their talent and professionalism go above and beyond, and they made the whole "getting ready" process an absolute blast. They helped keep me calm and the room full of laughter. Jenn, makeup artist, does absolutely stunning work. She accommodated each of my girls' individual needs and wants and made all of us look flawless and stunning. And the makeup stayed beautiful ALL DAY even in high temps! Katie, hair stylist, does the best updos and wedding hair I've ever seen! I had thought about every detail of my wedding ... except my own makeup! I was so grateful that Jenn Hixx at the Queen Bees was able to make it work for me, my Mom, and MoH to get our makeup done with a late inquiry. The OATS salon was adorable, and I definitely felt like a bride. My makeup artist, Jordy, was a joy to work with. I don't often wear make-up but she put me at ease, gave me the look I wanted, and made sure I was happy with every step. The airbrush facial make-up was flawless. I'm so glad I listened to her and did the extra long lashes.
Jenn was quick to respond and very flexible with the timeline (allowing me to alternate make-up with the hair salon we used nearby). I'd highly recommend the Queen Bees and Jordy!

Just Married 9.3.17! Arroyo Grande was a destination wedding for us and I was so nervous finding a local hair/makeup team who I could feel comfortable with. I came across the Queen Bees and they were the first team I felt had the style I wanted. I reached out, and Jenn responded almost immediately. She is so kind and honest and was always available when I had questions. Since I was not local our visits had to be planned and with my work schedule, some times I would have to adjust our meetings. Jenn not only was flexible with my schedule but she never, not once made me feel bad for having to reschedule our appointments. When I met Jenn and Marlee for my trial, it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. They totally understood what I was looking to do and always asked if I was happy and completely comfortable with the styles. On my wedding day, they were on time and so so lovely. I can't compliment the team enough. I didn't see them as the hair/makeup team I saw them as my girlfriends who were making me, my bridesmaids and the moms look beautiful. I was that bride that had a reoccurring nightmare that I would show up to my wedding without getting my hair and makeup done. Thankfully, Jenn and her crew helped make this nightmare go away. If I can show them a picture of a supermodel and say make me look like her, they basically did. Pure Magic. I have crazy bangs and somehow Katie had the powers to keep them under control. Team Bees came to help my squad get ready and we had so much fun. They kept us laughing and relaxed while also making us look so pretty we could “make him cry”. I highly recommend the Queens Bees. I had to find new makeup and hair stylists 2 weeks before my wedding. At the time I was very nervous. Jenn responded to my request within a day and told me that she could help me and was available on my wedding. I immediately felt relieved. We soon made appointments for make and hair trials. Jenn was my makeup stylist and Marlee worked as my hair stylist. Jenn was very professional. She asked me to send her some hair/makeup pictures that I'd like to try for my wedding. She also provided helpful recommendations on nails and waxing. Jenn responded emails within 24 hours and followed up my thoughts after trials. Marlee is also very professional. She was very sweet and friendly. During the hair trial, she was very patient and willing to try numerous styles. I was very satisfied with their trials. We had the absolute best experience working with The Queen's Bees!
My husband and I got married this past August at HammerSky Vineyards. Since it was a destination wedding I had to decide on a H&M team remotely, which was a very stressful process. I have been in many, many weddings and have been unhappy with my hair and makeup nearly every time, so I was very concerned about picking a styling team without being able to meet in person and have a trial. I like a very light and natural look, and no matter how often I communicate that I always feel like my makeup is much too heavy and hair overstyled. However, I found Jenn to be so wonderful and her portfolio so beautiful that I decided to hire The Queen's Bees despite never having met them in person.
We arrived in Paso on Tuesday evening, and Wednesday morning my mom and I headed down to SLO to do my hair and makeup trial with Jenn and Katie. I was obviously a bit apprehensive about doing my trial four days before our wedding, but the second I stepped into the salon all my cares flew away. We spent about 2.5 hours with Jenn and Katie and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of our entire wedding week. Both Jenn and Katie overwhelmed me with their kindness, professionalism, and skill. I walked out of the salon feeling absolutely relaxed and beautiful - a feeling which stayed with me during our entire wedding week.
On the day of the wedding, Jenn and her team did the hair and makeup of myself, my eight bridesmaids, and three moms. I was worried it would feel rushed or crowded, but the entire experience was absolutely perfect. We had so much fun. Everyone was laughing, relaxed, and happy. The positivity that the Queen's Bees brought to the morning absolutely radiated, and that feeling was absorbed by each and every girl in our wedding party. My older sister hired the Queens Bees 2.5 years ago for her wedding. They did an amazing job and everyone looked so beautiful. When I got engaged, I knew I had to hire Queens Bees for my wedding. Jenn is so incredibly sweet and talented. She provides create communication and amazing work. I love how with the Queens Bees they have so many stylist to choose from depending on what you are looking for. I knew I had to have Jenn do all of our makeup and Katie for hair (she has been my hairstylist for 10 years!). It was perfect and had a sentimental feel to me since I knew both Jenn and Katie. Jessi from The Queens Bees was my main stylist on my wedding day. She did both my hair and makeup. I wish Jessi lived in San Francisco because I would have her do my hair and makeup all the time. She is absolutely amazing and executed my vision perfectly. I’ve gotten my hair and makeup done before but Jessi was by far the best stylist I have ever worked with. I felt completely confident in their abilities even though I had never worked with them before. I gave them a few ideas of what I wanted for both myself and my bridesmaids and they nailed it! The entire process of working with them was incredibly easy. My girls were able to pay separately. Our stylist had the ability to take cash or credit card on site.
Make up we used airbrush, which I would highly recommend using. Makeup lasted all day/night. Our makeup artist was able to accommodate the various skin types that I had in my wedding party. One of my girls is incredibly sensitive to make up and another had lots of blemish. Both were completely satisfied with the end result and were comfortable throughout the entire day.
I would highly recommend The Queen Bees!

They were awesome! Me and my entire crew looked gorgeous. We all had cat eyes which came out perfect! My hair was tousled and soft. I requested brown eyeliner and mascara for my light eyes and it wasn't a problem. Would definitely recommend!

Candice, Jessi and Brooke came to the Apple Farm to do hair/makeup for my wedding (me, my moms and 3 bridesmaids). I absolutely loved our hair and makeup, and my bridesmaids and mom looked even more beautiful than always. Candice did my makeup and she killed it, it was exactly what I wanted. Jessi is amazing at any hair style you want, I loved my hair! Brooke did one of my bridesmaid’s makeup which really never likes makeup that makeup artists do on her and she loved the makeup that Brooke did! All the ladies were super cool to work with too. I had a spray tan done by Candice at her shop The Face and Body Shoppe in San Luis Obispo 2 days before my wedding and I am so happy I did. She does an amazing job and her shop is adorable!
Asha also did my makeup for my engagement photos and she is amazing as well!
Reeda was great with communication and made sure everything was set for my engagement photos, trials and day of for hair & makeup!
I would highly suggest them for any wedding and book them early!! Thank you so much ladies!

The Queens Bees did such a wonderful job! Reeda was professional and easy to communicate with. I had a pretty big wedding party and she was so on top of organizing the day and making sure everything went as scheduled and that we had plenty of time. All the girls who came on the day of were amazing! As the bride, Jordy did my hair and Jess did my make up. They were both great and I was so happy with both my hair and my makeup. All my bridesmaids were really happy to! I would highly recommend using them!

I used The Queens Bees for my June 2014 wedding and I have nothing but fantastic things to say. Jordy did my hair and Jenn did my make-up and I absolutely LOVED (and still love!) the way I looked!! I was beyond happy I went with The Queen Bees for my hair and makeup for my wedding. They made me and my girls look so gorgeous. Each artist made sure to ask me how I wanted the bridal party to look. That was a nice touch instead of just asking what the girls want they want to look like. I highly suggest the bride ask for Asha and Jen. They are turned me into an absolutely stunning bride. Reeda from Queen Bees, was a dream come true during the coordination process of finding a makeup artist for my wedding day. I was completely swamped the last few months of my planning, and she was extremely attentive and helpful with answers, questions, and patience as I had sub par communication :)
Asha did my makeup and it was perfect. I am always hesitant about getting my makeup down for events, let alone my wedding day, as I tend to lean more to a natural look. Asha helped me make sure that I was true to myself, but also glamorous.

Wow. These girls ROCK. Not only were they awesome to work with, but their work is incredible. I was blown away at how great each and every one of my bridesmaids looked. Hair and makeup were perfect on every single one of them. I've never seen a better looking bridal party in my life! My hair and makeup was amazing as well. I had a wonderful experience with Jessi, who did my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She is an incredible talent, not to mention a friendly and calming presence, which is always helpful when nerves set in. Jessi also did makeup for four of my family members, while Laurie did hair for five family members. Both of them did a fabulous job. I especially loved how my Mom's hair and makeup came out, which she was nervous about as her first time having special-occasion styling done. Reeda does a great job of coordinating all her artists, and she worked a minor miracle for us when I ended up adding family members to the hair/makeup schedule, when it was originally only going to be me. She really came through for us in a last-minute pinch, and it meant so much to our families.

Jordy did a fantastic job on all of my girls hair, and I loved what she did on mine - especially considering I changed my mind the day of. Sara made everyone look beautiful, my girls loved how they looked, I couldn't have been happier. They actually finished a good 45 minutes ahead of time and it was easy to pay with their Square app. Very happy with their services!

I absolutely loved working with Reeda and Candance for my wedding last month! And here's why: Reeda, who didn't do any of my makeup/hair but was the owner of the business and put me in good hands with Candace, responded to my emails immediately, understood all of my concerns and was lovely to work with. Candace, who was the hands-on master of my makeup, was extraordinary. During my trial, she spend careful time making sure that what we were doing was right. She spend a long time on my eyes before realizing that the colors just weren't right, so without a fuss, she wiped it all off and started over again until we were both happy. It made me so comfortable knowing that she had a keen eye and wouldn't let me out of her sight until everything was picture perfect. The morning of the wedding, she was on time, professional, and killer talented. I looked great, if I do say so myself. And she also did my grandmother's makeup (as well as a few bridesmaids) and they all looked amazing. She was just so sweet with everyone. The gal she brought with her to do some of my girls' hair did a really, really great job as well. I would put my trust in anyone from The Queen's Bees any time! We had a blast together and I wish I could do it all over again.

I can't give Queen's Bees a high enough rating. I have been in a lot of weddings and can honestly say this is the best hair and makeup team I've seen in action. I was so pleased with my, my mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaid's hair and makeup. The whole team was fashionable, time efficient, flexible, and FUN to get ready with. When I wasn't sure what I wanted, they were very patient and provided suggestions. I highly recommend if you want to look good and feel great on your wedding day!

Where do I even begin my praise for Reeda, the fun, smart, and sassy founder of the Queen's Bees. I was incredibly lucky to have her do the makeup for my wedding day and she did an amazing job. I've never liked getting my makeup done in the past. It's always come out too cakey and me looking like I should be working on the streets. I told her my reservations and she blew me away. I looked like myself, but a much, much better version. She was so meticulous in making sure she got it just right and that everything was perfect. She was also so great to work with leading up to the wedding. She even checked in on me, making sure my drive back home to the bay area was okay, after my hair and makeup trial. Such a sweet and kind woman.
I was also privileged to have Jessi do my hair. She is such a kind and sweet person, with an edge about her that makes you know she'll get the job done. I have really thin hair but she magically made it look like I had added extensions. It lasted all night and the photos I've been getting from our photographer solidify her expertise because it looked perfect throughout the whole day and night.

The owner was very quick to respond and work with me to find the best fit for my needs. I did a hair and make up trail and once we were done the stylist and I talked about what we would do differently on the day of the wedding and she took pictures to remember. Well the day of the wedding she blew it out of the park. My hair was AMAZING!!!! It looked so good and my makeup was awesome! Also the stylists did an awesome job with my mom and made her feel so beautiful. They are 100% worth the cost, which was on the high end of my budget, but totally worth it!!

Our photographer recommended them to me and after going for a consultation with Asha and having her do my hair/makeup for our engagement shoot, I knew she would be the perfect person to help us girls get beautiful on the big day!! She did my hair/makeup and all my bridesmaids and my mom's too! She did such a wonderful job helping each person create the unique look they were wanting and spent extra time re-visiting any little area we weren't 100% happy with. Not only did she make us all feel gorgeous on the big day, she was so fun too! She fit right in and truly added to the excitement! I usually hate having my picture taken, but after she worked her magic I was actually excited for the wedding pictures! I do not usually wear a ton of makeup and knew that my groom likes more of a natural look :) She listened to exactly what my vision was and I felt so comfortable with the look she created! My husband loved it too!!! :) If you are looking for someone to make you and your girls feel gorgeous on your special day, you should definitely go with the Queen's Bees (especially Asha). We hired Reeda to do make-up for my late March wedding based on a referral from our day-of coordinators. Reeda came to our hotel and despite enduring a knee injury on her way to us, was extremely professional and took care of us beautifully. She did the make-up for the Mother of the Bride/Groom as well, and it was so heartwarming to see them both so excited to receive the compliments they did (as two moms that don’t usually wear much make-up). Before our experience with Reeda, I had never felt hiring someone to do my make-up was worthwhile as it never seemed to turn out right, but Reeda made me look fabulous while still looking myself. I felt great and could focus on getting married and not how my face looked - she really nailed it! Highly recommend.

The team at The Queens Bees is absolutely amazing. I feel honored to have Reeda and Skyla as a part of the wedding. bottom line: wanna look unreal on your wedding day, for your e-session or bridal session? hire skylae and reeda. not only are they masters at what they do - their fantastic personalities start your wedding day off right. it was so fun getting gussied up for all my wedding events because i was smiling and laughing the whole time reeda and skylae were working on me. i can't recommend these ladies enough.

Reeda was great! She did a beautiful job on my make up, as well as, my bridesmaids and mother-in-law. We did a run thru and she gave me exactly what I had requested but was more than accommodating when I wanted to make some changes the day of my wedding. She is very talented indeed!

Reeda & Skylae surpassed my high expectations. Both extremely professional, i was impressed at how quickly they made everyone look so stunning. For Reeda specifically, my makeup was put on in the morning, but by 10pm that night it still looked great live and in all of the pictures. My family told me I looked more beautiful than they had ever seen me. Also, I was pleased that during our trial, Reeda took my feedback and helped me find a slightly different look for eye shadow. She didn't forget that and made sure she had what I needed for the day-of.
Skylae is a whiz at creating gorgeous up dos - I've never seen anyone move so quick to create an up-do that is absolutely stunning. For day-of, my hair was a half-up/half-down mix. Again, it still looked great by the end of the night. Both these gals deserved 5 stars for their expert work and professionalism.

I had my bridal hair and makeup done here as well as hair for my mom and bridesmaids. Everyone felt beautiful afterward and the girls got tons of compliments. The salon had an upbeat but relaxing atmosphere which made it great the morning of the wedding. Not stressful one bit. The glasses of complimentary champagne were also a nice touch! All the hairstyles were stunning. And although they were different for each gal, they were tied into one theme through the Queens Bees' creativity. Reeda on makeup was awesome. The eyelashes were super cute and flirty and overall, her touches kept my natural style with just a little added bazaam! to make it my wedding day look. Highly recommended!!
