Our friends and family are still talking about the food!
This is the one thing from our wedding that even months later, people are still talking about. The options are limitless with The Posh Affair. Alexis and her team are so flexible and genuinely just want you to enjoy yourself. She allowed us to come taste her menu and the food spoke for itself. After that tasting, we had to look no futher. We did a family style dinner and offered the crusted chicken, tenderloin, broccolini and mashed potatoes. There was plenty of food for everyone and everyone ATE. They packed us a to go box for after the wedding since we didnt have a lot of time to eat during the party, and it honestly made me wish I had eaten it with everyone during dinner. It was just so incredibly good. The passed appetizers even made it to our dressing room during cocktail hour and the staff was so kind to bring us as much as we wanted. I could never thank Alexis enough for really providing us with one of the most important things for our wedding. Food was a high priority to us and this caterer did not disappoint -

The Posh affair
The posh affair hands down has the most amazing food for a catering company. They not only helped with rentals for the day of, but their staff came in and helped decorate and take down at the venue! They were all very hard working and made the day a complete breeze. My favorite part about the plated meals and hordourves was that during formal family portraits they had about 2-3 different staff members come to serve us with food and drinks while photos were being done! Chase and I also got sent home another plate of food after the long night!
I opted for Alexis from the posh affair to help with my day of coordinating, and she was absolutely amazing! She took all the stress away as soon as I gave her the reigns and she killed it! She was so attentive and helped me with literally everything! From changing out of my heels to more comfortable shoes, to bringing me chicken strips and water before the ceremony and making sure everyone was taken care of! I could not recommend her enough she was so organized and made sure the day went so perfectly! -

My fiance and I first hired The Posh Affair to be our caterer for our wedding. From the very beginning, Alexis blew us away with her professionalism, attentiveness, helpfulness, and politeness. My fiance and I had so many questions throughout the process about selecting the food items for our wedding. However, Alexis was very understanding and walked us through everything step-by-step. She is very prompt in responding to emails. One thing that we love about Alexis is that she never pressured us to make any particular selection. She just gave us the info we requested and offered her thoughts/suggestions but ultimately wanted us to make the final decision that was best for us. Alexis and her mom, Loretta, were so great in working with us so diligently in fine-tuning the menu to accommodate what we wanted. The food that we ultimately selected for our wedding was amazing! Everyone loved it! We first hired Alexis and her team to be our caterer. However, at the VERY last minute (and I'm talking about maybe 2 weeks before the wedding) we had to find another wedding coordinator! My fiance and I were obviously in a HUGE dilemma. When Alexis found out that we had no wedding coordinator, she quickly offered to help us out by offering her services/expertise to be our wedding coordinator! I can't stay enough how much this saved my fiance and I. Alexis totally did not have to do this for us. For her to offer to help out (ESPECIALLY AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE), really took a HUGE WEIGHT off of our shoulders. Alexis easily transitioned into being our wedding coordinator. She really came through the clutch for us. The highest compliment that I can give someone is that she was on the "Michael Jordan" level of clutch-ness and excellence. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player who has ever played and always rose to the occasion and delivered when it counted. Alexis was at that "Michael Jordan" level of excellence during the wedding planning process and on the day of the wedding. Many of the reviews I have read about Alexis mention that she is extremely detailed oriented. I can, without a shadow of doubt, agree and confirm this. Seriously, her administrative skills are on another level. With all that we had going on (catering, wedding planning during COVID, being our wedding coordinator last minute, us requesting last minute changes, wedding guests cancelling on us last minute, last minute changes to the seating chart, etc.), Alexis had everything all under control the whole time and was able to multi-task and use her God given talents/skills to make our wedding a success and very special day! On the day of the wedding, I kid you not, it seemed like Alexis was EVERYWHERE. Throughout the day, Alexis seemed like she had her hands on everything! She was helping hanging signs, moving things around, setting up, unloading boxes full of wedding stuff/supplies from cars, carrying my wife's wedding dress train around (as my wife was walking around), taking photos, overseeing the setup, helping with the rehearsal, communicating with all of the other vendors, helping with the tear-down afterwards, etc. She was literally going a 150 mph the whole day/night and NEVER complained. She was so joyous the entire time! It really seemed like there were 10 of her running around on the day of the wedding. My guess is that she might have shattered her personal record of how many "steps" she got in on her fitbit that day! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Post Affair to others! -

THE BEST! I am not quite sure where to start!!! Alexis and her team are simply put...INCREDIBLE. She was THE most critical partner in our planning process leading up to what was an absolute amazing day for our daughter and her husband. The Posh Affair has the most amazing food and top notch team to handle the catering that I have ever seen. There are many things guest and the wedding party can compliment you on about a wedding you are hosting and for us the food, service of the food and our day of coordinator was what EVERYONE talked about - in an over the top positive way. We hired Alexis and team for the catering and also hired her for our day of Coordination and little did I know how much of a difference she would make. "Attention to detail" and "being on top of things" are understatements when it comes to Alexis. She has a true heart for this business and a heart for customer service. She is AMAZING. She took care of every detail and never looked stressed. There could have been many things going on...but we would have never known the difference and for me as a Type A, very organized and a person that plans to the greatest detail - that was priceless for us. She allowed us to completely enjoy the day! She treated my daughter like a queen, helped her through all of the nerves of the day and made her day so very special. Alexis has a servant heart, she is so caring, so encouraging and truly has her clients best interest at heart from the start of the planning process to the end of the wedding day (and even beyond!!). Your day will be forever impacted in a positive way by having Alexis and The Posh Affair as part of your wedding day. -

The Posh Affair took care of everything for our rehearsal supper. They are very knowledgeable in all
Areas of need and service and the only serve the most superb food. They kept everything flowing smoothly from cocktails and appetizers, to directing the traffic flow and food set up. They also kept us running on time but not rushed. They are like invisible magicians. My only care for the night was greeting and visiting with our guests. -

For Day-Of Coordinating: I don't know how to thank The Posh Affair enough. They were INCREDIBLE. I mean truly, Alexis took care of every single little detail of the whole day!! How she managed setting everything up, keeping everyone on schedule, coordinating pictures, rehearsals, vendors, etc., ensuring everyone was doing what they were supposed to be doing at all times, making sure my now husband and I were well fed, and even asking all of my bridesmaids for flats I could wear when I took off my heels - I just don't know! She did it ALL. The day would've been a catastrophe without her. I knew a coordinator would help, but I never knew just how much. Because of her and all that she did, I had my dream wedding. None of my planning and preparation would've mattered if she hadn't been there to coordinate it all.
// For Catering: The whole team was just wonderful. Everyone RAVED about the food!! I kept hearing about the flavor and tenderness, and how it was still warm and juicy. Hands down the best wedding food I've ever had - and that's because it didn't taste like "wedding" food. It was like straight out of a restaurant! Somehow, I think it was better than it was at the food tasting, which is craziness because they had to product food for 170 more people. I'm not sure that quality of food was super high on priority list when planning this wedding, but I can't tell you how happy I am that we had such a stellar caterer! It really made a difference. And family style was so great - everyone got to eat at the same time, the food all seemed super fresh, and all of the guests loved it. Having Alexis / The Posh Affair as my coordinator and caterer was the best decision I could've made. I'm so grateful to her and hope she knows how FANTASTIC she is at her job! -

We are SO excited to be working with POSH for our special day. Alexis is the sweetest and is so so helpful! We had a tasting yesterday and I don't think I have ever tasted better food! I think we are all going to be dreaming about the food until we get to eat it again on our wedding day! I HIGHLY recommend working with them!! -

I can confidently say that we made a great choice with them and they are so accommodating. The tasting appointment itself was a great and fun experience, the food was delicious, and the plating was gorgeous. They are very professional and on top of everything already. They pay attention to the fine details and they are leaps and bounds ahead of any other caterer we met with. I am very excited to have Posh Affair be included in our big day! -

Dara Sent on 10/27/2017I cannot say enough good things about Alexis and Loretta of The Posh Affair! This mother/daughter duo is a force to be reckoned with. We scheduled a tasting and were able to bring a few members of our family along. Alexis greeted us with a big smile upon our arrival. She took us back into the kitchen to show us where all the food is prepared. We met Loretta, the brilliant chef behind their delicious meals who also happens to be Alexis’ mom. We sipped on mimosas as we tasted a few hors d’oeuvres, including the scrumptious crawfish beignet. So yummy! Next, we were taken into the tasting room which was so beautifully decorated. The plate settings were fabulous and included a name card for each family member. It was personalized and absolutely perfect. A true testament to their talent and taste! The food came out family style. We tried the wildflower honey-lacquered chicken and venison tips with vidalia gravy for our main entree. The accompaniments were the white cheddar mac & cheese and buttered broccolini with almonds. Our meal was divine! Alexis has gone above and beyond — sending me video walk throughs for potential rehearsal dinner venues, setting up appointments, finding vendors, giving me creative input, etc. — you name it, she can do it! It is an absolute joy working with them!

Cindy Sent on 10/22/2017We feel so fortunate to have found Alexis and The Posh Affair. Alexis was so friendly, professional and helpful from the moment of our first contact which was just an inquiry by us searching and researching various vendors.
We had secured a venue- we thought- December 2017 for January 2018. The deposit was paid, then it all went downhill from there. In March we received the news that the venue would NOT be built in time for the wedding- they were disappointing already, and that was the last straw. I reached out to Alexis because we were considering them to do our catering but I remembered that she also planned/coordinated events. I wanted POSH to "be the one" after she diligently stuck by us and helped us find our perfect venue before she had any contract or financial commitment from us whatsoever. We chose The Carriage House in Montgomery. We later had a tasting with Posh that made us feel like VIP's. IT WAS STUNNING! Every single detail was considered- half of it we never even expected, like a gorgeous centerpiece, music, place settings,.... it's a long list! Then finally- we got to TASTE! The presentations were all beautiful, the food-- let's just say it was very tough to decide what NOT to have....So, we are anxiously awaiting the big day and are confident it will be more than we hope for with this great company. -

We used Posh for both catering and day-of coordination for our wedding. We had such a great experience with Alexis and her team; the food was fantastic, and the entire day went off without a hitch. Even though our venue didn’t have enough kitchen space to actually cook on site, the fish was perfectly tender, and more importantly, the spanakopita was crisp and crunchy! From day one, she was incredibly fastidious, which exemplifies her years of experience, and was constantly thinking of ways for us to save money. Alexis foresaw any issues weeks in advance, making sure that we had to focus on only one thing on our wedding day: saying “I do.” We will definitely recommend Posh to all of our friends getting married in the future. -

The Posh Affair was great! They were super flexible throughout our entire experience, which we really appreciated since we were planning and paying for our own wedding. We hired Alexis as our day-of coordinator and that was one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process. There wasn't one thing I had to stress or worry about the day of our wedding because Alexis was there and she took care of business. Also, the food was better the night of our wedding than at our tasting (and it was already super good at the tasting)! I was very impressed by their staff as well. I am an event planner myself and I would recommend The Posh Affair for both catering and event coordination needs.
