Stunning Arrangements!

The Plant Gallery was fantastic! They made gorgeous bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages that we and our wedding party loved, but the real show stopper was the arrangement at our venue. When we first arrived at the Elms Mansion for our ceremony and saw the flowers on the altar, we were absolutely stunned - just WOW! The flower arrangement was amazing and even better than we had envisioned. Everyone at the Plant Gallery was a pleasure to work with. The staff went above and beyond in making sure that we had everything. They also touched us with the little details; even after having to postpone our wedding because of COVID, they hand-delivered a bouquet of flowers to our home one day. It was the best surprise!

Can't recommend enough!

The Plant Gallery did a fantastic job at our wedding. The planning process was very simple and Susan was extremely knowledgeable about what flowers would look best with our vision and venue. Their arrangements looked fantastic and they were able to reuse planters and bouquets throughout the day to the extent that it felt like there were flowers everywhere. They also handled the candles and votives with no guidance and it turned out absolutely stunning. We can’t recommend the Plant Gallery enough.

Beautiful florals and Best service

When it came time to decide on the florist for my daughter’s wedding, there was no other choice but The Plant Gallery (TPG). TPG did such a beautiful job for my daughter-in-law and son’s wedding in 2017 and the flowers were just beautiful. Seeing their work first hand, we knew the quality work that went into every floral arrangement. TPG is a first class operation so this was expected. They truly brought my daughter’s vision to life and knocked it out the ballpark!!! Guests are still complimenting us on all the arrangements. With that said, TPG is truly more than just a great florist for weddings. Susan and her team are so kind and caring and treat clients like family. They go above and beyond and are so easy to work with. If looking for a florist for a wedding or any event, look no further; TPG is the BEST!!

Stunning greenery and florals!

Very pleased! I sent in my ideas of what I wanted and they did even better than I could have imagined! They did our bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, posey’s, decor for the church, decor for the dinner tables (including candle votives and vases), decor for the guest book table, greenery in the chandeliers, and even the roses in our cake. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

Excellent florist!

We had a wonderful experience with the Plant Gallery for our wedding flowers. Victoria is so sweet and very easy to work with. I really appreciated how conscious she was of our budget, while also being realistic about our expectations and very in tune with what I was envisioning. We had to postpone and then downsize our wedding and she was compassionate and adaptable as our plans changed. She even sent us flowers after our postponement, which was the sweetest surprise! Our flowers ended up being gorgeous and I was so pleased. Would highly recommend them!

Dream Wedding

Eva at The Plant Gallery is Amazing!!! Our flowers were extremely beautiful. Eva was able to create a NOLA fairy tale wedding for us. Every bouquet, table arrangement (guest and cake) and our sweetheart table were unbelievably breathtaking . I strongly recommend Eva at The Plant Gallery for any wedding and/or event. Beautiful, affordable flowers and decor

Eva at the plant gallery is a gem. She's really easy to work with and gladly deals with any changes you want to make to your order. Flowers and decorations were the most overwhelming part of wedding planning for us, and Eva easily coached us through everything, always keeping in mind our budget and never pressuring us. She was able to bring our vision to life and nailed it on the flowers and archway for the wedding. The colors were beautiful and the candlelight they provided for the reception was beautiful and romantic. TPG is also a budget friendly option but their quality is A+. Highly recommend working with Eva and her team!

We highly recommend Eva at the Plant Gallery and thank her for the the beautiful, beautiful floral arrangements and potted plants she provided for the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding in New Orleans!!! The staff was wonderful and so sweet in their attentions and convincing me to "relax" ;) Their work was professional and discrete with great attention to detail. Best of all was Eva's email message to me the night before our event that she "had my back" She certainly did and I will be eternally grateful!

Great experience, gorgeous flowers!

We used TPG for our wedding on June 1st. I love flowers so this part was really important to me. We worked through our planner, Three Little Words, but TPG was super easy and helpful. We live in Houston so we arranged a visit when we were in town and they put together mock ups of the bouquets. We described what we were looking for with the chuppah flora and garland on the staircase and it was perfect! I was literally in awe when I arrived at the venue on the day and saw how beautiful everything was. They also had gold lanterns to rent that was a special touch. Thank you Plant Gallery for making it a gorgeous day!

TPG was even better than we expected

Our wedding flowers came out even better than we expected. Eva took the time to help us figure out what we liked and didn't like and what would work with our colors. This was very helpful because neither of us knew much about flowers. The Plant Gallery was one of our best wedding vendors and the experience was seamless. They were so nice and helpful, and the result was everything we wanted. We will be sure recommend to any friends getting married in the NOLA area.

Choosing The Plant Gallery for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made! Eva has such an eye for beauty and for color, and she made everything look gorgeous. She listened carefully to any ideas or styles that I suggested and figured out ways to work them into my arrangements. I gave the bribe's maid luncheon in the Wine Room at Galatoire's. Choosing The Plant Gallery and working with Eva transformed the room into a magic garden. Eva is very talented, very ingenious, very creative and so very wonderful to work with. Any idea I came up with, she figured out a way to make it come to life even better than I could have hoped for. The flowers were gorgeous, the designs were perfect and the gasps when the party entered the room were audible. Eva put the exclamation point on a most perfect event.

They did a superb job for our wedding at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. They delivered the flowers, which were fresh and lovely and very artistic and just what I asked for. They also decorated the area where we were having the ceremony with a floral spray and ribbon just like I wanted. very beautiful. I could not ask for better service or quality. I highly recommend them for New Orleans or surrounding area wedding flowers.

Jenna and the team at TPG were amazing! I was an out of town bride with a very small floral order for my wedding but they gave me all of the help & attention they would with any customer! My flowers were BEAUTIFUL!!!! If you need help with anything these are the guys to call!

My wedding flowers were beautiful! I really had no idea what I wanted other than a general color scheme and some flowers that I knew I liked, and TPG really helped pull it all together for me. My experience with TPG and working with Lesmes was absolutely wonderful. I could not recommend this vendor anymore. On a relatively small budget, we had some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen at a wedding. The compliments were endless all night on how beautiful and elegant my bouquet and the arrangements were.

No words can describe my experience with the Plant Gallery, but I'll give it a shot. I couldn't have done it without Eva and her team. I had them booked for a December wedding, paid in full. When my father passed away suddenly, we were forced to move the date. The Plant Gallery was already booked, yet they were determined to help give me the wedding of my dreams. That's they kind of people they are. Not only were they accommodating under my circumstances , but when I tell you that the flowers were absolutely stunning, I'm being modest. It was hard for me to put into words what I wanted, but they could see it when we talked and they made it come to life even better than I imagined. I will recommend them to everyone and anyone. LOVE their work, LOVE their customer service. They are the total package.

Lesmes was amazing! He executed my vision perfectly and I could not have been happier with the finished product at my wedding. He was always available and very responsive to my many text, calls and emails. His infectious personality, always happy demeanor and pure talent made planning the flowers for the wedding a completely stress free experience. We love Lesmes at the The Plant Gallery! From the very beginning, he was so helpful...guiding us through the options available that would fit our vision, our pocketbook, and be in season. I was stunned when I walked into our reception venue and saw how beautiful the floral arrangements were! And the bouquets were exceptional. It is a week after my daughters wedding, and her bouquet still looks fresh and beautiful in a vase! The Plant Gallery went above and beyond what they promised and kept in touch with us which was so reassuring.

Flowers were exactly what I wanted and beautiful. I had to take some things off the proposal just to save us some money, but Lesmes was very accommodating and made the changes quickly. The plant gallery did an amazing job with the flowers are our wedding!! We picked the flowers in advance and made changes even last minute and they accommodated all of our requests! They were punctual on the drop off and everything was perfect the day of! The flowers looked beautiful!! Also, throughout the wedding planning, the plant gallery was always available and prompt to answer questions! We felt very confident on our wedding day that the flowers would be ok!

I feel like picking a florist was the most difficult thing for me to do. I wanted something very different and it was hard to tell who was willing to 'step outside the box' from the sample photos on this website and the florists' websites. From the pictures online I chose two florists to check out. The first one I contacted was The Plant Gallery. Shane sent me a questionnaire to fill out and upon sending it in, I immediately got an email back from Shane saying he loved my ideas and couldn't wait to talk about it. I don't believe I ever got a questionnaire from the other florist. So, we went to meet Shane, and I have to admit, I was a little skeptical when we pulled up to a nursery instead of a more common store front type set up. After spending a few hours going over everything, it was clear we were on the same page! It was so wonderful to have someone be a part of our event that was so clearly excited about what he does. The second florist was a sharp contrast. Everything I asked about that was out of the norm was a 'no'. The decision was easy to make after we visited the second place. So, I brought in driftwood pieces that Shane then cleaned and lightly rubbed with gold. Then he used succulents and garden roses in pinks and reds to implant into the driftwood. Think deco black and gold mixed with the more woodland look of driftwood and succulents. It was an odd combo, but it came out gorgeous!! For my bouquet I wanted a garden style but I also wanted brooches in it, so he wired the brooches in such a way that they looked like they were just part of the flowers. I also wanted an archway made that was completely covered in flowers. It ended up looking better than I imagined! All the other odds and ends, like center pieces, boutonnieres, bridesmaids bouquets, etc. were done perfectly too! I really feel like Shane went above and beyond for me. He was excited about his work and it showed! On top of all this, they were, by far, the cheapest!!! It was a dream come true!!!

Shane and his team did an amazing job on my wedding! I had a very specific vision and he made it come to life! The prices were unbelievable and he worked within my budget while still providing the highest quality! So many people commented on my arbor and flowers! I can not be happier or recommend them more highly! Truly amazing!

The staff at The Plant Gallery were a dream to work with. As we know, planning a wedding can be a painstaking and stressful event. They were able to allow me to lift the stress of flowers off my shoulders. I had a vision, theme, and feeling I wanted to have with my flowers, but had no clue which flowers were best and what combination. TPG and with the expertise of designer Shane Burroughs, he looked at my inspiration pictures and created his own creative flair on my desired look. I wanted a "raw elegance " or old and new mixture with natural materials mixed with polished ones. The result was more then I could ever wished for and the flowers spoke for themselves. I had many compliments about them and how exquisite each bridesmaid bouquet and groomsmen boutonnieres were with freshness and beaming color. The flowers at my ceremony and reception did not fall short as well. They too added to the overall ambiance of the evening . I would work with The Plant Gallery again! Happy Wedding Planning !

The team @ The Plant Gallery was awesome to work with. The moment my Daughter open her mouth to tell Shane what her vision was He latched on & ran with it. He seen her vision and did not make her feel unimportant. Shane worked within her budget & came up with a wedding site that was breathtaking & made their guest say Wow Who did this! The Plant Gallery far exceeded my expectations!!! My wedding flowers were above and beyond what I could have ever imagined. We worked with the Plant Gallery to provide large white bird of paradise, palms, bromeliads, and ferns to create a "screen" backdrop for our ceremony and bring a tropical garden inside our reception space. It looked fantastic and made our wedding design look just as we wanted. They were extremely flexible in choosing plants- we had complete control over the numbers and types of plants brought it. If you want full potted plants for your wedding- go with Plant Gallery!

I cannot say enough great things about Plant Gallery and would highly recommend them to anyone needing flowers for an event. Plant Gallery did my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and wedding reception flowers - all the flowers were beautiful! Plant Gallery was great about working within my budget and my vision on what arrangements I wanted to create. I was planning my wedding from a far distance and Shane always responded to me in a timeline manner as well as always being available for a phone call if needed. Plant Gallery were very flexible on changes I had (even the last minute ones) and helped make the flower process seamless.

Shane at The Plant Gallery was really easy to work with and I was pleased with my choice to go with them for our wedding. We went back and forth a couple times to ensure our floral arrangements would be within our budget, and Shane was very responsive in helping me with this. On the day of the wedding, The Plant Gallery was very prompt in the delivery and setup. The flowers were beautiful and we got many compliments on our bouquets and floral arrangements. I saw the Plant Gallery flowers that were done at a high end hotel in New Orleans and knew I had to talk them about my daughter wedding flowers. I had already gotten some estimates from other florists but The Plant gallery was able to do everything I wanted for a more reasonable cost.
They were totally awesome arrangements and they were there to move them from the ceremony to the reception. The only "near glitch" was the the bridal bouquets were only 'just' delivered just as we were getting in the limos leaving for the ceremony ! If there would be a next time I would ask for them to be delivered several hours before. Other than that The Plant Gallery did beautiful arrangements for both the ceremony and reception for a great value.

The flowers were beautiful and exactly what we ordered and hoped for. Had a terrible experience with our previous florist and TPG graciously took us on in an emergency. That being said, some of the things we ordered and paid for didn't get set up on the day of and we're not really sure why.

I was impressed with initial consultation. Lesmes pulled flowers and showed me some creations. I chose pink,purple,green and white as my colors. Upon delivery I received no purple and ended up with "my big fat greek wedding" blue. I immediately called them and they came out to fix it. They told me it was an oversight. Brides beware if using tpg be sure to take plenty of pictures and read your contract. Also have your flowers delivered early and check everything upon arrival.

I definitely would not recommend TGP for any future brides. At my first meeting with Shane, we discussed the details of my wedding. From his descriptions & details, I was impressed because that was how I pictured my wedding. I walked away thinking that I made the right decision, boy did I realized I would soon regret it. Shane did not respect my inputs or traditions/culture in designing the flowers for my wedding. What I had in the contract did not follow though. First, Shane took the liberty of re-setting the style of my reception. I had in the contract for several arrangements in addition to two large and tall arrangements for my bridal table. Shane decided to take my flowers from my bridal table & placed them on other tables because he saw empty tables. These empty tables had different centerpieces that didn't arrive yet. I also had 10 reception arrangements same as the ceremony flowers but smaller. I had asked for these flowers to be placed in glass vases (I even asked if I can provide them but Shane said no need since he would) but instead were placed in fish bowls! These 10 arrangements were meant for reserved tables for family. In our culture, we do not do assigned seating. For Shane to take flowers from the bridal table & placing them in places where they are not meant to be made the reception seating a mess. He basically added more reserved tables than needed and guest did not have enough tables to sit so they sat where the intermediate family were suppose to sit! The bridal table is the main table so planned for the majority of the flowers for that table on the contract. My bridal table looked empty with his decision. Second, I had to contact TGP on my wedding day asking where my flowers were. TPG charged me a fee for delivery but never confirmed a time. I felt like they just took my money & didn't care about my wedding. There were more disappointments on my wedding day but there's not enough space for my comments. Overall, my biggest regret!

Horrible Customer Service, Would Not Use

Hiring The Plant Gallery (TPG) to decorate our wedding reception hall was a regrettable decision. They did not provide all decorations that we paid for and areas that were decorated were bare and lacked the plants and lights that were promised. After the wedding we voiced our concerns to TPG and requested a partial refund. Several follow-up emails later, a TPG employee responded with a refund offer. The offer was low so we made a counter-offer. Since then, more than 3 months since the date of this review, we have not heard a single response more from TPG.

We sent emails, called, and left voicemails, and after hitting a dead-end we visited the TPG store on Airline Hwy. There, the TPG cashier told us there was no one on-site that could help us and that all managers worked off-site. I asked her to call management for us (explaining we could not reach anyone ourselves) but she would not. She gave us a phone number and email for the owner, Kenny, and phone numbers and emails for the accounting department. We tried calling the owner while at the store, and tried multiple times in the days that followed, but every time we called, the line cut straight to a voicemail. We called all numbers the cashier provided, left voicemails, and sent more emails - still, no one from TPG ever responded to us. Aside from not getting what we paid for, doing business with TPG resulted in one of the worst, most unprofessional, customer service experiences I can ever recall, and I cannot recommend doing business with this company.

Read this before you book!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THE PLANT GALLERY!! I was recently married on October 20th. With more than 5 hours of face-to-face meetings, texts, emails and calls to go over every single detail of my wedding flowers and decor, The Plant Gallery Floral Manager, Eva (who took on my wedding project after their floral designer took another job at the end of September), made decisions regardless of what we discussed and agreed upon without notifying me. My large centerpieces were NOT large, they were the wrong shape, and included flowers and greenery I DID NOT APPROVE. I wanted a large amount of candles, but the amount of candles at my wedding were sparse to say the least. I was also supposed to have candles at the church per our last discussion. However, there were no candles in the church. Her email to me the week of the wedding was inappropriate and unprofessional while finalizing details because she felt inconvenienced. Who places an order for non-refundable decor without checking with the bride first? She emailed me to let me know she spent her day off getting the items (like she is the only one who works on her day off). And, I was supposed to be getting the items, not her, because TPG dropped the ball from our original conversation. Mind you, the original designer, who I loved and was working with left The Plant Gallery. No one reached out to me after she left to make sure TPG knew exactly what I wanted. At my request, I spent almost two hours on a call with Eva and one of my wedding planners re-going over the details of the wedding florals and decor. Eva told me she ordered the florals without being sure she had ordered the correct shade of red, but she said it would go great. Why was I not contacted? The red was not the correct shade. I feel Eva lacked the attention to detail and professionalism I expect from a wedding vendor. She did not respect my vision for my wedding or the time I spent going over wedding details in that specific approved florals and decor were not used. Brides do not need extra stress with under two weeks to the wedding!!!! And, don’t even get me started on the smaller arrangements for the smaller tables at my reception and the flowers for the cake! Sparse is an understatement and my choices of flowers and and vases were ignored!! This review only scratches the surface of my experience. In the days after the wedding, I emailed the owner, Kenny Rabalais, to explain my extreme disappointment in his company. He promptly responded with a very nice email seeming to be concerned and asked for photos of the flowers. Since I had only explained that I was very upset but had not discussed the actual details of this fiasco, I responded with the photos and asked him to call me at his earliest convenience. After more than a week of no response, I repeatedly emailed and called The Plant Gallery to attempt to reach Kenny to no avail. It was only after giving him a deadline of 4pm on November 5, more than 10 days after I initially contacted him, that Kenny responded. After requesting multiple times to meet with him and/ or have a call with him, he asked me to email him again. It took me a few days to put together my email along with subsequent emails including attachments outlining my experience. The emails were sent on November 9 to Kenny as well as Eva and TPG’s accountant (who was on copy to Kenny’s email to me), and I have received no response or resolution of the matter. The customer service or lack thereof by the owner of this company is appalling. I should not have to explain my “side” of the story over and over again and prove why I have a right to be disappointed. If anyone wants to know the whole story, I’d love to tell it! My other vendors were amazing!!!!!! Too bad I cannot say the same of The Plant Gallery.

Color of my flowers was wrong and the flowers on my cake was wrong and the ceremony aisle set up was wrong but I will say that they was on time for my wedding
