Truly the Perfect Dress!

I had lived across the street from The Perfect Dress for 5 years, and always loved looking at the beautiful gowns on display. I had recommended and taken 2 girlfriends there when it was their big day. Then it was my turn last June (2019) - I brought my maid of honor & my man of honor, who helped me pick out the Perfect Dress! I vowed to lose 2 dress sizes before the final fitting - and I did! I chose a Maggie Sottero, Tuscany Lynette and it was stunning! We got married on 2.22.2020 on the beach in Key West... everyone loved my dress! Thank you for making the occasion so special when we came to purchase a wedding gown! I will always recommend your shop in Holladay! - Riki C

A dream come true

Thanks to the perfect dress, I did in fact find my perfect dress!! They were so helpful with showing me all kinds of styles until I found something that fit me and my personality perfectly!!

My Perfect Dress

I had been to a few stores before and had some bad experiences that were all laid to rest when I went to The Perfect Dress. All of the consultants in the store were so helpful and party danced with me when we found my dress. I wanted to add long sleeves and raise the neckline higher and they did a great job helping me envision what it would look like. Their recommendation for alterations was spot on and I truly came away with a dress perfect for me. I would tell anyone in Utah that is dress shopping to start there!

The Perfect Dress - Perfect Description!

The name of the shop is The Perfect Dress - this is the best description for this shop! I could not be happier with my experience with The Perfect Dress. The day I bought my dress was the very first time I even tried on a dress. Because I am a heavy girl when I walked in the door and I was completely prepared to be a little disappointed because I am overweight but instead I felt beautiful and I found my perfect dress. The dresses are beautiful. The girls at the shop were amazing! My dress was even dramatically underneath the price I had assumed I would need to pay.
If you are newly engaged and want an amazing experience this is the place you should go.

The Perfect Dress

It really lives up to its name, I found my perfect dress there and my experience was amazing. The ladies that work there are super sweet, helpful, and professional. Plus they have a huge selection of gowns for every price point . I would recommend this place to everyone.

The Perfect Dress deserves 10 Stars!!! I had such a great experience working with the gorgeous gals at the shop. From the moment I walked into the store I felt like a beautiful bride to be. The store is so clean and organized and my consultant made my appointment so very special. Annie was so helpful and sweet that it made my experience so much more fun! The Perfect Dress is the Perfect Shop! We had a fabulous experience! We were able to spend as much time as we needed to find the right dress for my daughter. She tried on several dresses and then thought about it for a day or two and then went back and bought the Perfect Dress for her. We LOVED everything about our experience here. Even the alterations were perfect! Cheryl was so patient and willing to do whatever my daughter needed. Thank you for a wonderful wedding dress purchasing experience!!!

The Perfect Dress lives up to their name...and more! It was such a fun experience to find my PERFECT dress at The Perfect Dress! They made finding a dress so enjoyable! They listened to what I was looking for and also knew what would look good on my body type- it was the first store I stopped in for a wedding dress and my dress was the second one I tried on!

I fell in love with The Perfect Dress the moment I walked in! They paid perfect attention to my wants and needs and listened to all my comments and concerns. They were extremely helpful and truly made me feel beautiful. The pricing is the best I have found! Nothing over $2,000! I recommend this to every bride! The Perfect Dress was great! They were very helpful and gave lots of good advice for choosing my dress. They also had plenty of affordable dresses to choose from. The lady who did my alterations was great also!

My mother flew in from out of town the day of our appointment. I was leaving Utah in just six weeks, and wanted to find my dress before I left. We were a little late getting to the shop, but they were totally flexible. They gave me the whole hour anyway. My attendant was the sweetest girl. I didn't feel pressured by anyone to buy something I didn't absolutely LOVE. There isn't anything more than $2000 in the store, and they won't show you things over your budget. They did encourage me to try something I thought would be terrible, but it ended up being my perfect dress! They were so easy to work with. I highly recommend them and their SLC sister store The Bride's Shop.

I had such an amazing experience Herr! Ask the girls are so sweet, the owner Robyn is so amazing, she has so much knowledge about wedding dresses and fittings/styles to different body figures, and really knows how to make you feel like the most beautiful bride! I recommend this bridal salon to do many girls because they all ask where I got my dress from!

I found my dress at their new store and had the most amazing experience! They made me feel so special and so important! Their gowns were beautiful and I found my deam wedding dress! Make this the only store you go to!! Their seamstress is amazing and my alteraions were 1/2 the price of everyone else and they turned out beautifully! :-)

Very nice genuine people. Let me try on as many gowns as I pleased and as many times as I wanted. Never once did the girls try to tell me what I could and could not wear. Very helpful!!! Loved my dress!!

I got my dress from The Perfect Dress, I called and go a same day appointment. They have a genius system of trying on dresses, and the consultants are so sweet and helpful. My consultant not only helped me in and out of each dress, she brought me a drink of water when i was freaking out, she had a hair tie when i needed to pull my hair up to see how it looked, she let me try on any dress i wanted no matter how many times. They were so great to work with and i really did find the perfect dress!

I actually found my dress at a different store. It was more than i wanted to pay so I shopped round a bit. I found it for much cheeper at the perfect dress, they were very accommodating and full of good ideas!

I really wanted to find a dress that was a little more modest than many dresses are today but I wanted something elegant and not cheesy. This was the second store I went to and I immediately found the perfect dress. It was amazing and such a great value people thought I spent thousands on it, but it cost less than a thousand dollars. The owner of the shop was so kind and helpful as were her employees. I got tons of personal attention. The tailor that came and altered my dress was incredible too. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

The name fits the store well! I found my perfect dress after being in there for about ten minutes. I'm sure this wont happen for everyone but with the selection and amount of personal assistance there is no doubt your chances are great of finding a dress you love.

I had never really thought of The Perfect Dress as having wedding dresses. My friends had all bought prom dresses there before, but I had never heard of them carrying wedding dresses. Then one day, after visiting about 10 other dress stores, my mom suggested we try them out. We walked in, not having an appointment, and looked through the dresses they had available. The sales staff was very polite and patient with us. They put up with us changing our minds several times. It was a much more pleasant experience than we had had visiting some of the other dress stores. The staff even helped us get the best deal on a dress, because we were on a somewhat restricted budget.

The women in this store are wonderful to work with! Each one of them made me feel special and were so helpful. I was privileged enough to have the owner herself helping me. I was referred here by a good co-worker friend who said that it was the best place to go in Utah for a bride that wants something unique and doesn't need a "temple ready" gown. They do have plenty of styles for all types of dresses though! Normally fittings take place by appointment only but I was lucky enough to find out about the White Saturday event they were having 2 days earlier and decided to drop in just to try some things on. My wedding is several months away & I didn't really have intentions of purchasing a dress so soon. As it turned out though, I did find "the perfect dress"...from the price to unique style to looking and feeling like royalty, I truly have my perfect dress. As I was checking out, one of the store associates who also helped me gave me a hug because she was so excited I found what I wanted. I didn't have any of my friends or family there with me and these ladies made me feel so good about myself & my dress choice. I will be returning here when I purchase my veil and accessories and I will be sending all of my friends here too! Thank you for making this big part of the wedding planning process such an amazing experience!

I found MY PERFECT DRESS at the perfect dress. We went to several other places before this one and I found nothing that came even close to what I was looking for. I did try one on that wasn't even available which would have been nice to know before I decided I loved it. but I ended up finding one that suited me perfectly. The workers were very helpful and the price was only slightly high compared to other dress shops. I would definitely recommend.

I went to four stores to find my wedding dress - The Perfect Dress had the best service by far! I was assisted by Lacey, who was kind, patient, encouraging, and (most importantly) not pushy at all, which is really important in dress shopping! I bought my dress and veil here. They referred me to an outstanding seamstresses for alterations and they were very helpful whenever I had to call in (to pick up the dress, veil, etc.).

The only downside was that you're not allowed to take photos while trying on dresses. This makes it very difficult if you're trying to decide between a few dresses, especially a dress from a different store! Had we been allowed to take pictures, I would've given The Perfect Dress a perfect score instead of a 4.8/5.0.

The Perfect Dress helped all my wedding dress dreams come true! When I walked in I could tell how professional and classy it was, and they treated me so well. I had a personal dresser at my appointment helping me try the dresses on, and they were so helpful and patient. Anne altered my dress and I felt like we were best friends by the time my dress was done. She made it look perfect, and I will be forever grateful for the service they provided because it turned out just the way I dreamed it would!

I loved working with The perfect Dress. They made the whole dress shopping experience so positive and productive. I had a great experience with all of the employees and I absolutely loved my dress. It needed some alterations and they gave me a very realistic idea of how much they would cost and who I should contact. I was a little frustrated with the seamstress who cancelled on my several times for appointments but this in no way has impacted how I feel about working with The Perfect Dress. They had a wide variety of styles and were careful to pick out dresses I liked until I found the perfect one!

All the ladies at The Perfect Dress are an absolute dream to work with. Their dress selection isn't enormousness but it's absolutely worth looking at, they have great deals if you buy your dress on your first visit which is really nice if you do indeed find the perfect dress! I found a dress I loved there, but didn't buy it in time and it was bought by someone else which at first was devastating but I went back into the shop, the ladies sympathetic and willing to let me try on every dress in the place, I ended up with a dress that I made alterations to (with the help of Cheryl the Alterer who was referred to me by The Perfect Dress) which turned out a thousand times better than the one I originally picked! I was very happy and truly felt beautiful in my wedding dress. I would recommend future brides to at least look at the dresses in this wedding shop. My mother bought her dress at "The Perfect Dress" as well as the dresses for the flower girls. All three dresses were in fact "perfect"! My mom is not one to ask for help, but the easy going and non-intrusive salespeople at this store helped her find a fabulous fit by trying some options and giving her their honest opinions.

I had a great experience with the perfect dress. The girl I worked with was SO helpful and knowledgeable. I had a little bit of difficulty scheduling alterations with them but that was the only issue I had. The staff was so nice and easy to work with!

I found my absolute perfect dress, but I needed it altered to have sleeves and a bit higher neckline in the back. The Perfect Dress staff were not only helpful and positive, but they re-ordered my dress from the factory with a complete new look! It was timely and a great value. They even gave me a free veil for shopping there. Awesome!

After hearing two of my friends bought their dresses here, this boutique had to be the first place I went to find mine. I had a great experience here! I tried on 8 total dresses of all styles and silhouettes just to make sure the one I liked was the one. My dress was #3 and on sale! The girl who worked with me was very friendly and encouraging and not pushy at all. I would recommend The Perfect Dress to any bride-to-be!

I wanted a full length wedding dress without a train that was not really heavy. Since I had less than three months, I knew I would need to find a dress that was already in stock. Their store had the largest selection of dresses already in stock, and it was here that I found the one I was looking for. It didn't have sleeves or straps, so their alteration specialist made a bolero for me.

Make sure you go shopping for your dress well in advance. In Utah, weddings happen so fast that dress orders can be rushed. They need to know well in advance to order your dress for you!

This store was fantastic to work with. They let me try on as many dresses as I wanted, and I had a sales associate all to myself to work with. They listened to what I wanted and helped me find my dream wedding dress. I was able to buy off the rack, and they had a fantastic seamstress that works with them who altered it in my time frame and for a very reasonable cost. I would definitely work with them again.

they were very helpful and their prices were fair. They had a seamstress on staff to take care of alterations very quickly and professionaly. I was very impressed with their service and selection.

I found a great dress, they were highly professional, didn't feel too pressured to buy (did feel a little pressured, though). One problem: They told me that the price of alteration was in the price, but I was charged by the seamstress (an extra $100); also, alterations were a hassle because they were done at the seamstress' place (a messy apartment) instead of at the store. Prices were a little high.

The Perfect Dress was the first place I went when shopping for my dress. I didn't have to go anywhere else. I found exactly the dress I wanted - beautiful and contemporary. The attendant was very helpful during my appointment and helped me try on the dresses. She didn't mind when I wanted to try two again after I narrowed it down. She made great recommendations on how to tailor the dress and came up with a solution for hiding a bit of damaged fabric. I thought my budget of $350 would be unrealistic, but I was pleased to find a dress within my budget. Alterations and cleaning added an expense, but The Perfect Dress offers discount coupons for a cleaner if you buy a dress at their store, so that made it easier. The seamstress they recommended did a fabulous job. I was able to get the dress three months before the wedding, and called right away to try and schedule alterations. I was surprised that there was so much lead-time for alterations (about 2.5 months) so I almost didn't have enough time to get it altered. Do your shopping early to avoid that stress!

Great selection of dresses and consultants who really listen and work to make a perfect dress happen. Their seamstresses are remarkable in their ability to transform a dress. They were able to work with tight timelines and create a one of a kind, amazing dress!

This place was average at best. One step up from David's bridal. Its a miracle i even found my dress here.

I didn't like my experience, they sold me a defective dress one bubbie was bigger. the dress was many month on the mannequin, so it was very dirty. The fabric that they sold me for alterations was different that the one of the dress. I would like to other people know that this place sell very expensive dresses that probably cost them a lot less. I am so repentant for having bought my dress for the most important day of my life.

I wish I could give the Perfect Dress no stars. I sadly had a terrible experience from the moment I walked in. The girl helping me did not listen to anything I would tell her. I could tell she was just looking for an easy sale and didn't care about what I wanted. She let me try on two dresses and said I had to buy one. I wish I would have known that wasn't true.

I was not at all impressed with The Perfect Dress. I was so excited to find the dress of my dreams and I was completely pressured into buying a dress I did not love. The lady helping me only let me try on three total dresses and pretty much made me choose from those dresses. I have never been more upset in my life. What a nightmare. She was not friendly and I could tell she just wanted my sale. So dissapointed.

I went to purchase a mermaid skirt unfortunately they did not have my size . However the sales associate attempted to tell me the model skirt was new, freshly steamed. I confronted the sales associate and told her the skirt was dirty, had small written in permanent marker, and a hole In it! She told me "the shirt is new but we mark them when they come in". Very unprofessional

The Perfect Dress is the worst place to find your bridesmaids dresses for your special day. The manager, MIKE, and 2 of his older staff members made my "Perfect Dress" experience the most awful one. They ordered the wrong dress styles, wrong sizes, and then sent the dresses to mike's store in milton instead his Mississauga store. I am so pissed that he didn't even offer an apology but started passing the buck and blamed the manufacture. Incompetent and uneducated!!! Go back to school or consider retiring!!! How can a manager possibly make so many mistakes. Thank god i have enough time to go elsewhere.

The Perfect Dress in Milton is the worst dress shop in the history of shops!!! The young girls that work there are wonderful. The older ones are miserable. The manager is a liar and a crook. Ordered wrong dresses for my girls. We were so upset and the only thing we got as a reconcile was "well thats the nature of the business. Mistakes happen". WOW!!! No apology or compassion. I am now on a hunt for bridesmaids dresses. BEWARE!!!!!!

The perfect dress is the worst shop to order bridesmaids dresses. Mike, the uneducated manager, along with his pathetic sidekick who remains nameless because she is a coward who laughed at my complaints behind a closet door. They made me feel so stupid and did nothing to reconcile their huge mistake but tell me that I should have known better than to order dresses 6 months before my wedding. Funny!!! They are the ones who input the wrong order into the dessy group. Dont shop here if you want peace of mind. They are unreliable and will steal your money without any compassion. God bless

Please do not shop at the perfect dress in milton or mississauga!!!! Awful customer service especially by Mike the so called manager. He ordered the wrong bridesmaid dresses and then blamed me for not ordering earlier. He was rude and offensive and laughed at me when I couldn't understand what happened. He is a liar and a jerk who told me I knew nothing about the industry and that I was inconveniencing him by calling him after hours. He did not even offer me an apology for making such a huge mistake. He also refused to show me the work order he put in why? Because he was the one who screwed up and blamed it on the Dessy group. Later i received a call from a police officer saying that we threatened him when we never did. Please shop for your special occasion somewhere else. No one needs this type of aggravation.
