The Pavilion at Mixon Farms was a phenomenal one-stop-shop wedding venue with so many options to create the perfect event for couples and for their guests. We received so many compliments from guests regarding the scenery and set-up of the pavilion! Our Day-Of Coordinator, Jen Aaron, was amazing to work with and took what decor and items I brought and created the most beautiful set-up from the tables to the overall layout. She truly has an incredible eye for design as well as the skills to listen to a vision and create it into exactly what I envisioned (or probably even better!). She also made the timeline of the entire day seamless! We were very pleased and wouldn't have changed a thing about our selection of The Pavilion at Mixon Farms!

Everything we Hoped for!
The ambiance of this venue is perfect for an outdoor wedding! We loved that we had separate areas for each part of the wedding but at one venue for convenience of us and our guests. The tunnel of love is so much fun!

Farmhouse Beauty

We love Mixon!
Mixon Farms is the absolute best place to have your wedding! Our wedding planner, David, was exceptional and professional. On the day of the wedding he was calm, collected, and knew exactly what he was doing so that we didn’t have to worry about anything! We really enjoyed our day because of him. Preparation’s were also wonderful, the communication was clear and the meetings were always lovely and productive. We love Mixon!

A hidden gem!
Unfortunately it pour the morning of our wedding up until right before the ceremony so our original layout had to be moved around a bit but David was quick into action and helped resolve anything that came up. As soon as our ceremony started the sky cleared up and we had the best night of our lives. Every single vendor that was either within our package or on their pink list was incredible. No one had a single complaint, our entire family raved about the staff and venue itself. We could not have been happier and will recommend this venue to everyone!

Mixon's was a welcomed surprise
As a local I never thought I would get married at Mixon's, I simply thought it was a cute little fruit farm... boy was I wrong. The pavilion is gorgeous, with more than enough room for all of our friends and family. My personal favorite is the lighting they have under the gazebo - after the sun sets it turns into the most romantic spot I could think of. Shout out to Brandy, David, and Alex for making our wedding day into more than I could've dreamed.

The best!!
The Pavilion at Mixon Farms was the first and only venue we looked at. Once we were there and met with such a welcoming staff, along with the most beautiful location for our wedding, we knew it was the one for us and didn’t need to see any other options. We had to move our wedding date due to Covid and they were so accommodating and helpful, making a hard decision a lot less chaotic than it could have been. We never experienced any stress throughout the process because we knew we were in good hands every step of the way. Our day of coordinator was David and he was amazing. I know for a fact that our day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without him. He was on top of everything, kept things on schedule, and was there to assist whenever we needed him. Even our guests noticed how professional and organized he was. It was truly a seamless day!
We absolutely loved Mixon and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint outdoor venue with a skilled, friendly staff.

An AMAZING experience
This venue is BEAUTIFUL!!! Our wedding was amazing, and the Mixon staff made it everything we ever wanted. There were minor hiccups throughout the day (thank you traffic accidents and missing ties) and the Mixon team handled everything with ease. They handled most communication with vendors, and made everything super easy and painless. Everyone that works there is so friendly, and will make you feel right at home. We also rented the farmhouse that is onsite (sleeps A LOT of people), and used it for the rehearsal dinner and a place for the bridal party to get ready the day of. We couldn't have had a more pleasant experience!!!

My husband and I had such an amazing wedding here! The venue is so beautiful. I got compliments on the venue from all of our guests. Jen was our day of coordinator. She was amazing too! I don't know what we would have done without her. She took on a lot of responsibility which made me way less stressed. Also, we found Mixon because I literally looked at every wedding venue within 100 miles of Tampa that was moderately priced or under. This was the only place in the area that wasn't crazy expensive, but still had a beautiful outdoor venue. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely cannot say enough about our wedding experience with the Pavilion at Mixon Farms. First let me say we started planning right when covid hit so needless to say we were on pins and needles hoping our wedding didn't get canceled. The staff at Mixon's was amazing start to finish. They answered all our questions, exceeded our expectations as vendor and a wedding resource. Our day was beautiful and stress-free. We rented the farmhouse, which I would highly recommend as it provided a great place to gather to have our rehearsal dinner as well as a comfortable place to get ready for our day. Brandy, Teresa, Jen and David were all part of our day! Amazing group of people.

All around phenomenal!
The venue was everything we were looking for; charming, simple but elegant, plenty of space and all the extras we wanted, not to mention the variety of beautiful places to take photos. The family enjoyed the butterfly garden and the lawn games, the young ones really loved all the space to run and play and were absolutely fascinated to feed the koi fish. The staff themselves were amazing also. Brandy was with us from tour, to booking, to i do and was always ready to respond to my many questions. The other coordinators and staff that we interacted with were just as friendly and helpful. They really knew how to guide us in making the day go smoothly and beautifully.

Brandy is the absolute best!! She was our wedding coordinator (through Mixon’s) once we booked our reception at their venue. As a bride handling every little detail up until the day of our wedding, Brandy and her assistant, David, were by my side making sure any hiccup was taken care of most of the time without even letting me know. We rented out the farmhouse, also owned by Mixon’s, for myself and all of my bridesmaids that weekend and it worked out perfect! All 12 of us were able to comfortably sleep and had hair and makeup come to us the morning of the wedding. Our entire day went better than I could have ever imagined and I truly owe it all to the amazing support and attentiveness of the team we had by our side ♥️

Amazing venue!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We just got married this past weekend, during this crazy COVID year. Jen, Brandy, David and the entire staff took care of this wedding way beyond our expectations. We literally just dropped off our decor, and walked into a magically transformed reception. Everything from day 1 of us booking the venue till the day after the wedding went smoothly. Every single one of my guests came up to me and said how impressed they were with the venue, the beautiful mix of old Florida nature with a rustic outdoors feel. As a bride, I didn't have to worry about a single detail. We did the cocktail hour, the koi pond experience (which everyone loved). And during COVID, they made sure to distance the tables, the staff was masked, and made our guests feel as comfortable as possible.
My mother and I also decided on renting out the farmhouse so the morning of the wedding we had more than plenty of space to get ready ( I had 6 bridesmaids, my mother, mother in law, and flower girl) and it was the best decision I made for that day. My family was able to stay there after the wedding, and then my mother threw a beautiful morning-after brunch for our guests.
Jen was my main day of coordinator, I cannot express enough how happy I am with how everything turned out. Brandy turned out to be our bartender...thank you for all the pours haha. You can tell that they love what they do, and they are very good at that. Couldn't have asked for a better day!!!

Hidden gem..... Absolutely perfect!
If you live within 50 miles of Bradenton, Fl. or are looking for an outdoor destination wedding CHECK THE MIXON FARMS PAVILION OUT! We wanted an outdoor location that was memorable, beautiful, just PERFECT and we found it. The gazebo, pavilion with chandeliers, koi pond with waterfall and fountain in an orange grove.... how beautiful...how romantic!! What Fun! The wedding was Oct. 23, 2020 and for the 6 months prior to the wedding the staff and wedding coordinator at Mixon Farms could not have been more helpful in helping us plan and have a perfect day. I cannot recommend any higher a more perfect choice for your special day! Our family and friends are still letting us know that it is a HIDDEN GEM!!!!

Couldn't Have Been Happier!
When we started looking for a wedding venue we had looked at a few places that we loved but the pricing was too high and then we stumbled upon the Pavilion at Mixon. We instantly fell in love with the property and the warmth of their wedding team. They were one of the most inexpensive places we looked at AND one of the most beautiful. We worked almost exclusively with Brandy leading up to the big day and she was so knowledgeable, organized, kind and fun. She made the process easier. Two weeks before the wedding we had a final meeting with Brandy and no detail was left untouched. All the things we still needed, she took care of immediately and was very mindful of our budget every step. They day of the wedding, when we walked out and saw what Brandy and her team had done we were blown away by how beautiful everything was. Everything looked better than what we could've ever hoped for! We realized that wedding planning is pretty stressful but the team at Mixon did literally EVERYTHING they could to ease the stress. Even our guests commented on how lovely the team was and what a great job they did. I will always recommend the Pavilion to literally anyone and everyone looking for a venue because I don't believe anyone can do it better than the team at Mixon!

Fairytale garden wedding!

I had the pleasure of working with Brandy (wedding planner) who was nothing short of amazing. I had toured the venue for the first time and met Brandy and knew, that she was my wedding planner. I love the venue and it’s absolutely beautiful but ultimately she sealed the deal.. I knew I needed her on my team! From the very start she was always there no matter what time of day, and made the planning process a breeze. When it came to the wedding day, I have no words. Every expectation I had for that day was exceeded. Everything was executed to my vision 1000% And I didn’t have anything to worry about except getting down the aisle. She was made for this. 10/10 would recommend this venue and brandy to all future brides out there! And if you the opportunity to stay at the farmhouse on site would absolutely recommend taking full advantage. It was perfect for our rehearsal dinner and for our bridal party to get ready the day of.. we made lots of memories in this beautiful home.

I couldn’t have asked for a better location to celebrate our special day! Jen was our coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! They are very flexible with everything and just make you feel relived because I stress about everything. If you like a beautiful and peaceful scenery this is the place to have your dream wedding!

We got married at Mixon on March 7th and needless to say it was the best day of our lives! Brandy and her team were absolutely amazing from day one. They were so attentive to make sure our every need was met. My husband and I were the first couple to book the all inclusive package through Mixon and it was the best decision. Brandy made everything so easy and stress-free on our part! She let us provide as much or as little input on something as we wanted. She really held our hand through the whole process and we are so thankful for that. Within the all-inclusive package we were able to select our vendors so it still provided us with a lot of freedom. There were also times when we asked Brandy to take something and run with it and her creative freedom did not disappoint.
The venue is simple but elegant. The Pavilion is breathtaking. There's a lot of space for guest to move around and not feel trapped in one space.
There is a farmhouse on the property that you can rent as well and it made it really easy to stay and get ready right on site.

We love Mixon!! We got married 3/14 and everything was perfect. Brandy was a Godsend. She was easy to communicate with, got my vision, and took care of everything. We had family stay at the farmhouse on property and we had our rehearsal dinner there. Everyone at mixon took great care of us. Brandy and Emily made the day go off perfectly and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I’m ready to do it again!! I wish I could give them 1000 stars.

Venue: The Pavilion at Mixon Farms.
I cannot say enough about this beautiful venue. It was the first and only venue that we toured because we knew right away that it was the perfect fit for us. I always knew that I wanted to get married outside, and I also knew that I wanted my ceremony and reception to be at the same venue. The Pavilion delivered on both of those fronts. This little tucked away oasis is drop dead gorgeous. I felt like I was living a dream on my wedding day as I looked around and realized that I was surrounded by greenery, natural light, and the most beautiful weather. It truly felt magical. The twinkle lights of The Pavilion, the tunnel, and the gazebo all tied in to our romantic, natural theme. The venue was the perfect size for our guest count and gave our guests plenty of space to move about and explore. I couldn’t be happier that we were married there and would choose it over and over again. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to get married outside. You will NOT regret it.
Day of Coordinator: Jen Aaron with The Pavilion at Mixon Farms.
Jen completely blew me away with her organization, communication, and punctuality. She was very understanding of my vision and helped me bring my dream to life. She helped me pick out my linens colors based on what she knew my theme was, and decorated the venue on the day of from top to bottom. She literally handled EVERYTHING. I didn’t have to lift a single finger, and neither did my bridesmaids, friends, or family. Jen did an excellent job at keeping the wedding moving according to schedule (which I highly appreciated), and was even able to sneak me an entire bottle of my favorite wine (knowing that it was my guests’ favorite too and that it would soon be gone!). I cannot thank Jen enough for her time and dedication to my wedding. I felt so loved, cared for, and respected by her. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to get married at Mixon to hire her, Brandy, or any of the other day of coordinators there. They are so incredibly talented!

The Perfect Day
There is so much to say about our wedding day... but, Mixon's and their entire team made our wedding day one that we will always smile and laugh about. The planning process was SO easy with them and every detail was covered. Brandi and the entire staff made our dreams come to reality. They also made the wedding day and weekend run so smoothly. We wish we could do it all over again! The group of wonderful people at were so kind, thoughtful, and sweet. They went above and beyond our expectations, so glad we chose Mixon's for our big day!

AMAZING people and great service to work with
omg. i absolutely loved the venue, the staff, EVERYTHING. i was the bride this past weekend and everything ran BEAUTIFULLY. i cannot thank Brandy and Teresa for the full attention the entire time and knew exactly what they were doing. we had alcohol there and when the bar area filled with people brandy went and help out with the drinks. she even danced with us and tried to teach us some moves( because i have no rhythm). she was available by phone all night, she fixed and stayed calm through the seating chart issues, napkin issues, everything. i don’t have a single bad thing to say about this venue, brandy or teresa because i was having a blast. guys, if you’re thinking about mixons as a venue, DO IT. they answered all of my questions, thru email, phone and even text when they were busy. we did follow up meetings and they helped us figure out everything and even talked with our caterer and linen people to get everything figured out. i can’t stress enough how wonderful this place has been even with some up and downs. thank you guys for all that you have done and keep doing what you do best!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Choosing to have our wedding at Mixon Farms turned out to be the most positive experience. From the time we initially visited the venue though-out the time following our wedding the staff at Mixon's was extremely attentive , involved and and assured our big day went smooth. My husband and I looked at so many outdoor venues with the thought in mind that we were planning an outdoor wedding in FLORIDA in MAY. After our initial tour at Mixon with Theresa, we knew it was the venue for us. It’s a beautiful place that requires very little decoration at all, and every staff member we met was so sweet and excited to hear our story and make our dream wedding happen.
My parents and I agree that our one regret was choosing the package that only included a day-of coordinator rather than the longer term wedding planner, because Brandy was SO wonderful. On my wedding day I felt totally at ease leaving things in her hands because I knew she had a handle on my vision for things and she got it DONE. She’s organized, energetic, and such a sweetheart.
The bride and grooms suites are something that really sold me on the venue as well- the pictures turned out great and the decor is perfect - very chic farmhouse without taking the tacky “farm” direction that some other places did.
Overall the wedding experience at Mixon is just wonderful- it’s peaceful rather than stressful, much less work and stress than I’ve seen other brides go through. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous space and the amazing staff that comes with it.

Could have never done it without them
When planning a wedding, in June, in FLORIDA, there are a lot of variables. But once we found this gem nestled away in the heart of Bradenton FL, we were sold. Theresa was our first contact, and neither Kathy or I could understand how one person can be so uplifting and happy all the time (especially when planning weddings). The venue spoke for itself with expansive gardens and a Huge pavilion with an adjacent gazebo situated on a magnificent Koi pond stocked with huge fish, waterfalls, and overlook platforms.
The Pavilion had private rooms decorated for the bride and groom, and the entire expanse was decorated with thousands of twinkling lights. It was truly magic!
When planning the wedding, we chose to have Theresa and Brandy be our wedding planners. A couple of weeks before the event, they stepped in to take control of the ceremony and reception and relieve us of our duties. They had it all down... From the bar, to the linens, to the timings, the decor, and all the minute details. What a stress reliever! So not only did they take care of the venue.... But also handled our vendors with an unmatched efficiency. True professionals at heart.
Even as I and the Best Man were putting on our tuxedo's only to find the legs were not hemmed up... Brandi rushed in with pins to save the day.
There are venues... Plain places with some scenery. They there is the Pavilion at Mixon Farms... A perfect place, with the perfect ambiance, and a wedding planning team IN HOUSE to make sure everything goes perfectly. Can't do better than this!

I am so happy we went with Mixons Pavillion for our wedding. They by far superseded my expectations. The venue was gorgeous and I felt like I was in a fairy tale. I didn't have to worry about a thing because they handled everything even things I hadn't thought about. Brandy was my planner and she was fabulous! A Dream Come True

From our first visit a year before the wedding to the last guest left the reception, the whole experience was magical, amazing and beautiful. I can't say enough about Brandy. The wedding coordinator pkg was truly worth the investment. I HIGHLY recommend it. She LISTENED to my vision and and saw it through. We ended up with a beautiful venue that truly exceeded my wildest vision! We delivered a trailer full of decor and Brandi, Jen and Emily turned it into a fabulous wonderland! She was there every minute of the night and seamlessly took care of every single detail. Plus her personality simply ROCKS! Together, the three of them are definitely the A team! Everyone loved them! I cannot thank them enough for making my wedding beautiful and just a really fun party for all!
The Pavilion is a beautiful setting and there are so many options you can chose to ensure your vision is met. They also have the beautiful farmhouse you can rent which was perfect! Had a wonderful family party there afterwards so the magical night continued.

Beyond the stunning setting at Mixon's, what made this our perfect venue were the staff! Sheri made planning a breeze, always responsive to my many questions, and Brandy was a joy to have on site day of. Everything we wanted, much less needed, was easily provided. Our guests raved over the beauty of the venue - if I had to do it again I would choose Mixon's over and over!
We rented the Farmhouse for the weekend as well and it made for the perfect landing place, rehearsal dinner location, and Sunday brunch spot.

If you are second guessing this place- DON'T AND JUST BOOK THEM!!! Hands down the most AMAZING experience of my life. From the moment we booked until the moment of our wedding- everything went smooth and perfect thanks to all the ladies at Mixon's. Sheri answers emails quickly even if i had to email her 10 times a day ;) They offer a "day of coordinator" and it was the best decision next to booking the venue. Brandy was our coordinator and she is THE BEST. I did not lift ONE finger day of my wedding. She brought me everything i needed and took care of everything that needed to be done. I wanted everything to look a certain way and Brandy did not disappoint. She followed each detail i gave her and when i walked into the venue- i cried. It was stunning and just perfect.. Perfect, perfect, perfect! I can't say enough great things about this venue and everything they have to offer. The amount of compliments I've received has just put me over the moon. I've heard over and over that our wedding was hands down the best and most beautiful wedding anyone's ever been to. First of all, The Pavilion at Mixon Farm is stunning. The venue is surrounded by the citrus groves and beautiful flora, which are accompanied by a koi pond, waterfall, and a fountain. Besides these great attributes, the staff that coordinate weddings is great. Sheri, the director of weddings, is phenomenal. We were lucky enough to have her services as our coordinator for the day of our wedding. She made our entire day a breeze, neither myself nor my family/my fiancé and his family had to worry about a thing. Everything ran very smooth and I would recommend not only the venue, but also Sheri’s services to any bride to be.

Our Big Day Was Perfect
The Pavilion at Mixon Farms is perfection. Period. There is nothing to dislike about this venue. From the location, the decor, the grounds, the staff, the charm, the history, it was all amazing. Sheri, Brandy, and Jen really know their stuff and went above and beyond for us when we fell on financial hardships just 3 months prior to our big day. Everything was amazing and every single one of our guests was stunned by the venue and awestruck at how beautifully everything came together! We couldn't have picked a more perfect location and venue for our big day!
We appreciate everyone at Mixon for all their hard work and dedication!

Best Location Ever
The staff is absolutely amazing her. The location is perfect and gorgeous! A pavilion with a gazebo over looking a coy pond! The best part is you can literally leave everything up to the coordinator for decorating and making everything run smoothly. They are amazing. Check into their Farmhouse too, it’s right on property and sleeps 12!

Another Magical Mixon wedding
After a year and a half of watching other couples have their magical moment at Mixon farms, finally it was our turn. First of all, the venue is just beautiful. The venue perfectly captured the romantic vibe I was looking for, with its twinkling lights and gardens. The venue has multiple items to rent in order to enhance your experience. As for the staff, Sheri and Jen were more than accommodating with my multiple emails and requests leading up to the big day. Before I knew it, the big day was upon us...Jen was my coordinator and I couldn't have been happier with her performance. I wasn't stressed about any aspect of the day thanks to Jen. She handled us, our vendors, friends, and family with a fun, positive attitude. My wedding day was also magical, thanks to choosing the Pavilion at Mixon farms!

Greatest experience for a wedding
Writing this review doesn't give enough insight with how beautiful this venue is. My daughter had a night time wedding and we were all in awe with how beautiful everything looked. I had a lot of people at the wedding who all complimented with how gorgeous the setting was. My words can not express how overly impressed I was with the coordinator; Brandy. She not only took charge of every detail to the highest degree but, make sure the bride and groom and their party were well taken care of before, during the wedding and at their send off. She by far is exceptional, outstanding and an asset that I would recommend to everyone. She not only made everything go smoothly but is so easy to deal with, I felt like she could have easily been part of our family. Such a doll!

Perfect Day!
My experience with Mixon’s was truly nothing short of amazing. Communication was excellent throughout, I truly felt like I was being welcomed into a family. I also felt free to ask questions and get clarifications. I believe this venue is an amazing value for the price and such a unique setting for your experience and photography. The staff at Mixon’s works as a team and you feel like throughout the entire process, from tours to meetings to day-of. Everyone helps you and each other. Bottom line: the wedding was beautiful and truly the perfect day.

Absolutely Incredible
I cannot be more grateful for our venue and staff! We got compliments all night long about the gorgeous venue and we could not agree more. I was panicked about planning but Brandy was nothing short of incredible. She had everything taken care of and handled before I even asked or thought. She’s family now and we cannot say enough about her and the whole Mixon team. We are so blessed and would not have had it any other way.

Mixon's made our daughter's wedding experience memorable. They knew how to handle each and every situation that arose during her big day. Even with the torrential downpour of rain and the tornado warning, this wedding went on without worry! The Mixon team was able to set everything up under the pavillion. It was like we had planned a wedding underneath the pavillion all along! We were so happy that we had hired them to do the wedding. They made everyone feel so relaxed and peaceful. It was a joint effort with their whole team.

Our wedding at Mixon was absolutely perfect!
Our wedding at The Pavilion at Mixon Farms was absolutely perfect in every way! Sheri always accomedated to our schedule and answered back to all of our emails in a timely fashion. Emily went above and beyond the day of our wedding and always made sure we were happy with how things were turning out. The venue is stunning at night under all the twinkly lights and all of our guest loved the koi pond. The butterfly garden with all the games was also a huge hit and our guests of all ages had a blast! You can't beat everything Mixon has to offer for such an amazing price! I would highly reccomend Mixon to anyone looking for a venue to celebrate their special day, you wont be disappointed!

Mixon is a beautiful venue that many of my guests loved. It’s a unique place with the twinkling lights in the pavilion and koi fish pond. Also the staff was amazing from start to finish. They answered all my questions quickly. I hired their ultimate coordinator service and they were fanatic! It really help relieved a lot of stress for me and I got to enjoy my wedding day.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Mixon Farms and our daughter’s wedding there. It was beyond gorgeous. Everyone commented how unique and beautiful it was and it felt like a luxury wedding! Sheri was so helpful to us throughout the planning process, always responding quickly to our emails. Brandi, our wedding coordinator the day fo the wedding,and her team were incredible. It looked exactly how my daughter wanted it to and exceeded even her (high) expectations. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

The amount of great things I have to say about this place would take hours to list! My husband and I spent months discussing where we wanted to get married and spent just as much time online looking at wedding venues. When I came across The Pavilion at Mixon on THE KNOT, I was very intrigued and quickly started researching more into it. I actually cried watching strangers wedding videos at the farm and immediately made an appointment to take a tour. When we pulled in, my husband was like "...what is this" because you walk into this cute little shop and the last thing you'd think is that it's associated with all of these beautiful videos online... but plot twist, it's that and so much more. We were greeted by Sheri who is an absolute pleasure. She gave us the grand tour of the venue and the farm. It was the first place we actually took the time to go see in real life and as soon as we left that day, we knew it was our place. Sheri is amazing to work with and kept everything in check throughout the entire process (even handling my main request of keep beer cups chilled, lol) She always answered my dozens of questions and made me feel at ease with everything. Brandy was our go to during our rehearsal and wedding day and this woman is a beast. She had to endure two pretty decent thunderstorms with us and was a trooper through everything. Our coordinator was very happy with how accommodating she was and easy to work with. Brandy never skipped a beat, she was everywhere at all times, just incredible. There isn't a single thing we would have changed with this venue. It's already so beautiful and the women running this place are hands down, THE BEST in the business. We can't think them enough for giving us a dream wedding <3 Budget Friendly, The best of Hospitality and the ultimate hidden gem <3

Brandy, our day of coordinator was fantastic. Was very organized, kept things running smoothly. Knowing that the brides father had passed away just 3 weeks before,knew this was going to be a rough day. She went above and beyond to make her day happy. I recommend all brides use Brandy’s service! I don’t even know where to start. I live in Massachusetts and had my mom go check out Mixon because it had great reviews online. After her rave reviews of the place, I booked it without even seeing it first! Sheri was SO great to work with, quick to communicate, and friendly even after I sent about a million emails over the course of my 18 month engagement. If you have not yet booked the Pavilion at Mixon Farms, DO IT! My guests were from all over the country, and they could not have been more pleased with the place. The pavilion is gorgeous and it is just the most unique venue. Cocktail hour at the gaming area….. I didn’t even realize there were blow up slides but boy were they a hit! The twinkle lights are fantastic. I even had a nice surprise- the week of my wedding they installed gorgeous chandeliers!!! Also… the donut bar… say no more. For our big day, it was 86 and sunny, and I was worried about it being hot. Between the cooling units we rented and the fans at the pavilion, we were totally fine!! I don’t even think I sweat. Sheri and Brandy were so flexible an on board with all of my ideas and truly helped to bring my vision to life. Brandy was our day of coordinator, and she was all hands on deck the whole time. She knows what she is doing. Brandy and Dennis (her assistant) took all of my crafts and decorations and set them up beautifully and followed my instructions for the whole day. I didn’t really know what to do with the sweetheart table, and Brandy and Dennis made it absolutely gorgeous and even arranged our leftover flowers on it! She made sure my bridal party and myself had beers throughout the photo process (we needed it after we had a church ceremony)! I had compliments from guests about how friendly and accommodating she was the whole night. I even have engaged friends who say they need their coordinators to be more like Brandy! If you want a unique and beautiful wedding that your guests will forever remember, look no further.

We had our daughters wedding and reception at the Pavilion. We would give it 10 stars if could!! Beautiful and immaculate grounds, dressings rooms large and spotless. From the time we sat down for information with Sheri, to the end of the reception, everyone was patient, knowledgeable, acommidating and cheerful. During the celebration, both venue assistants, Emily and Dennis were fantastic. Dennis had a solution for anything that popped up during the evening, to keep things moving smoothly. Again, thank you to all for helping make this special day special!!

At first I was pretty skeptical at choosing Mixon as our wedding venue because I was all about having a barn reception, but now I am SO glad we decided to choose Mixon! Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true and every detail on our reception was perfect! If you're questioning whether or not you should stay in the Farm House, just do it, it's worth it and you'll be glad you stayed! Brandi and Sherri were both awesome and easy to communicate with

This wedding venue was our dream come true. We knew from the first time we visited that this is where we wanted to get married. The Pavilion at Mixon Farms was a beautiful, natural environment for our rustic-themed wedding. We barely used flowers due to the natural beauty of the venue. Our out-of-town guests loved the Florida feel and the opportunity to feed the Koi fish in the beautiful pond. Our photographer was able to take us to a variety of gorgeous locations around the property for our pictures, including the garden, vineyard, orange crates, and archway. The staff was incredible to work with and made planning our wedding very simple. Their first priority was making sure my fiancé and I were stress-free and satisfied with each detail of our wedding. They communicated well and were very professional and friendly. They were always available by phone or email to answer our questions, and they helped make sure the night ran smoothly. I highly recommend this venue!

All of the ladies at Mixons are a thrill to work with! I was a long distance bride and every time in between from when we booked the venue up until the day of our wedding if I was in town I was going to stop by Mixons. It was overall a very pleasant and relaxing experience with Brandy, Sheri and Jenn!

Fell in love with Mixon on our venue tour and booked our wedding the same day. The wedding team was there every step of the way to help in anyway they could. Everything went very smoothly the day of the wedding with Brandy as our coordinator. Everyone raved about how great of a time they had and how beautiful Mixon was.

From the day we booked our wedding at Mixon, we were impressed with the grounds, the beauty of the farm and Pavillion and the service we were provided. Sheri, our wedding planner and contact at Mixon has been responsive, helpful and encouraging through every step of the wedding planning process.
Because we live in Orlando and were planning our wedding long distance, we expected a few issues to arise in the planning process. However, we were both surprised at how smooth our wedding planning process progressed.
I definitely had LOTS of questions during our year of planning, but Sheri ALWAYS returned my emails promptly (usually within hours) and also gave me ideas and input to help with our wedding vision. Her knowledge of the property and wedding planning in general was invaluable during the process.
The day before the wedding, I included some last minute detail changes to our ceremony and set up. While I expected a little panic, as always, Sheri was accommodating and calm and made sure every detail was perfect for our special day!
We loved every minute of our wedding --as did our guests who commented it was the best and prettiest wedding they ever attended. Our day would not have moved so smoothly or been so successful without a wedding planner like Sheri and the team at Mixon! MANY Thanks to Sheri and the team at Mixon for making our wedding day the best!
