My husband and I met Sean at a wedding showcase in February of 2019. Immediately, we were drawn to his energy, his positivity, his friendly demeanor, and then lastly his set up (which was a simple showcasing of what he is capable of putting together. The final product we chose: WOW!!). We found our wedding DJ!! All of this to say, the pandemic hit and we were put on hold for two years…
My husband and I were now juggling work, our personal and familial lives, and trying to figure out how to put together the wedding we’ve already begun to plan. Sean was the one who reached out to us on more than a few occasions and reassured us that we were doing great, that we were handling the situation well, and that he would be there to support us our entire wedding journey. He made good on his promise! Each email, personal phone call, every meet up, and text message was thoughtful, never pushy, and he never brought up the business aspect, just genuine thoughtfulness and care that we were mentally doing well.
September 2021- our reception was flawless! Sean showed up early Sunday afternoon (after a weekend of other weddings!) and did his thing. Sean was willing to work with us all the way through the beginning of the start of the reception- should we just do indoor setup, or include outdoor patio setup, should we do different styles of music indoor vs. outdoor, what if the weather wasn’t cooperating? Sean was prepared to do it all! My husband and I also have very differing tastes in music and we put all of our trust in Sean. Every guest we’ve spoken to has been raving about the music selections! From oldies, to country, to rap, we hit it all! The dance floor was constantly filled and guests were completely happy and energized all evening. And with the extra lighting, Sean created the perfect moods for each aspect of our reception! Gorgeous colors! Throughout the evening Sean kept checking in, making sure everything was on the right track and checking to make we were doing well. How thoughtful!
One thing I will forever be grateful for is that while Sean is a professional, he is also a miracle worker. My brother was supposed to sing during the reception but unfortunately couldn’t make it. Sean is very well-spoken, has a special way with words, and recreated the moment my brother was supposed to sing. At 3:30 (our reception began at 4:30) Sean received an email with a recording from my brother. Sean made sure to surprise me and the guests with this touching moment to begin the dancing of the evening. Not a single dry eye in the house! And the day after the reception, he sent me the recording!!
Sean is a nice, kind, funny, energetic, and caring professional. His knowledge of the music industry, and his ability to read a room and to read people is outstanding! We are simply overjoyed with our working with Sean and hope to see and work with him again in the future. While yes, he is a professional, you will leave your time with Sean as friends. You won’t be disappointed!! -

We loved having Sean and Kevin as our DJs for our wedding. Sean went above and beyond expectations. We appreciated how thorough he was in finding what we wanted our wedding to be like. His communication was perfect and he always checked in with us to make sure we were happy. And we were very happy! Definitely worth the upgrade for the lighting, as well. It helped set the tone for dinner and liven the dance floor.
The sound and music for the ceremony was perfection, as well. Overall, very happy and would highly recommend. -

We can’t say enough great things about our DJ, Sean Shipper from The Party Express DJs! From our very first meeting to the final song of the night, Sean was a true professional—friendly, flexible, and fully committed to making our day unforgettable.
Sean worked closely with us to carefully plan the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, taking every one of our preferences to heart. He offered thoughtful suggestions along the way that helped enhance the flow and energy of the day. His experience and insight were incredibly helpful, especially as we navigated some last-minute changes—he handled everything with total ease and flexibility.
The music was spot-on! Sean played so many of the songs we had requested and fully respected our “do not play” list, which we truly appreciated. The energy during the reception was amazing—he knew exactly how to keep the crowd engaged and the dance floor full.
If you're looking for a DJ who’s not only talented and upbeat, but also genuinely cares about making your wedding day personal and fun, we highly recommend The Party Express DJs.

Sean was AMAZING! Our original DJ canceled 10 days before our wedding and Sean just so happened to have an opening the day of our wedding. With only 8 days to prepare, he DID NOT disappoint. He was collaborative, professional, and overall a great guy to work with. He made the process super easy, which was very appreciated being that we were already stressed with having to find a new DJ so close to our wedding. It was truly a blessing in disguise. Our wedding was flawless and the dance floor was full the entire night. We are still receiving compliments! -

Sean provided top notch service from initial planning until the last song of the night! He also was willing to step in with helping/directing small details outside of his responsibilities to be sure our reception went smoothly (even helping to light a few chafing dishes). Definitely think about their uplighting options as well. They really added to the ambiance. We couldn’t not have been more happy with Party Express DJ’s! -

We hired Party Express DJs after attending another wedding they DJed and being impressed and they did not disappoint! Sean was super helpful leading up to the day - we did not have a strong vision for the reception other than "dance party" and his worksheet and conversations really helped us get the vibe right. We also appreciated how flexible Sean was - he worked with a live performer, made some last-minute adjustments to the song list, and even let us make a mid-reception decision about the last dance. Sean obviously knows what he is doing and has the professional experience to make the right calls. For example, we gave him some very vague guidance about some of the music for cocktail hour and he hit it out of the park; guests were telling me they were singing along and wanted the playlist! I also had guests tell me they were impressed with how Sean was able to read the room and they could tell he was making song choices based on what kept people on the dance floor.
We also chose to have The Party Express DJs provide uplighting for us and that was completely worth it - the candlelight effect during dinner added a beautiful, elegant glow to the room and the party effects that were tied to the music once the dancing started added so much to the dancefloor.
Overall, we were so happy we went with Party Express DJs! -

Sean was able to help us out with less than 48 hours to our wedding day when our other DJ fell through. We were able to fit months of planning and coordination into that small time frame! They provided the most amazing and beautiful entertainment for our wedding. We truly cannot thank them enough. If you are able to book with anyone I would strongly urge everyone to work with them!!!!! It made our day that much more special having their experience and knowledge to get everyone up and going. -

Party Express DJ’s was recommended to us by a friend, and we are very happy with our decision to use them. Alex and Kevin were our DJ’s for the evening, and were absolutely amazing.
They were very professional and organized. The level of communication prior to the wedding was incredible. They wanted to make sure they were always on the same page as Jess and I. Alex and Kevin were able to make adjustments on the fly the night of to make our evening even better.
Many of our guests even commented that they were the best DJ’s they have heard at a wedding! I would recommend them for any event you need a DJ for!

The Party Express Dj’s exceeded our expectations. Dj Noah was our DJ and he was the absolute best. His communication, and his song choices and just general calming words throughout the day made all the difference for our wedding. He went above and beyond anything we would expect in a DJ. We had issues with the rain on our day and he did everything in his power to make our wedding work and that wasn’t just DJing that was helping us dry things off to asking to help with literally anything we needed. Sean and Kevin were amazing! From the start communication was better then expected, Sean answered any questions I had almost immediately and made sure I understood everything clearly. This team has it together. They are literally everything you want and need to work with. We hired them for our wedding and they rocked it. The party went as long as it could, everyone keeps telling me how awesome they were. They even threw in some extra lighting for us. I cannot thank them enough for being apart of my big day. I was never once worried about them because they have excellent response time. They literally customize your wedding to be all yours and do their homework for you. Highly recommended!! -

Although our company had worked with him before, it was my first time to do so. He was extremely knowledgeable not only with what he was doing but other AV aspects that he helped me handle that the other entertainers that night were dealing with. He was excellent with MCing for me, a last-minute request that I asked of him. He was always patient with my questions, checked in with periodically to make sure everything was going well, with an excellent music selection along with an intuitive feel for the crowd and the flow of the evening. I highly recommend him!
