Fantastic and professional

The party connection was a great company to work with! David E had awesome music all night long, Frank captured the most amazing video I could have ever imagined of the whole day, and Joe took the most breathtaking photos capturing every moment! The photo booth with Rita was definitely a hit with our guests and would recommend adding it to your package. The whole staff was extremely flexible and accommodating with our crazy schedules and working around it to have our meetings. They were there every step of the way on the actual wedding day and made sure everything was nothing less than perfect! Great company to work with! Thank you:)

DJ Dave from The Party Connection is an excellent DJ!

Every conversation felt sincere—he cared about the details and made us feel supported every step of the way.

On the big day, DJ Dave delivered above and beyond. His music selection was spot-on, perfectly tailored to our crowd and the energy we wanted. We received countless compliments from guests in the days following—everyone was raving about how fun and seamless the night felt. I wouldn’t hire anyone else!

Dave did my nephew’s wedding. He was awesome! Very professional. The photo booth and music was fun :) The photographs came out great. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again!

Exactly what we were looking for!

Dave was an amazing DJ and ‘knew’ his audience when playing the music!

He met with us prior to the wedding and really listened to us on what kind of music we were looking for (and what we didn’t want played at the wedding).

We highly recommend The Party Connection!
In addition to the music, he had his Photo Booth available and TONS of props for the guests to choose from!

They did a great job!

We had David & Rita from Party Connection DJ both our ceremony & reception... we have to say we definitely made the right choice! We had so many people compliment David, knowing exactly what everyone wanted to hear & he didn't miss a beat! Rita did a great job, oh yeah they do photobooths too! There were great props and everyone had a blast, looking forward to seeing all the pictures once we get them! I was nervous booking someone from the area (as I'm not from Rochester), but I'm so glad I booked. David was great from the beginning of booking to the day of our wedding (calling to make sure everything was okay and if we needed to change anything). They did a great job!

Recently, we had the pleasure of having David from The Party Connection provide DJ and PhotoBooth services for our mother’s 80th surprise Birthday party. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice. They brought the party to life with a perfect blend of music and great props and fun for the PhotoBooth. They are energetic, fun and engaging. I highly recommend their services and will most definitely have them at all future events. 5 Stars, all the way!!!

Listens to what you want!

David was a fabulous and communicative DJ to work with. He was very receptive to all the music choices my husband and I requested. We heard our favorites throughout the night and he knew how to get the party started! We hired him for the ceremony and reception and the sound quality was amazing indoors and outdoors. David lets the couple take the lead in terms of what they want and that's what I was hoping for in a DJ. David was a pleasure to work with!

Great time had by all!

Amazing DJ for 50th Anniversary Party

Absolutely perfect!

The party connection did a wonderful job with our wedding! David was very accommodating, personable and helpful when it came to planning the music and scheduling the day. He was always available to answer any of our questions! Our wedding was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. Joe and Frank were amazing with the photographs/videography. Fantastic Wedding DJ!

We are SO glad we chose David E to be our wedding DJ. He did an amazing job incorporating a bunch of songs that we requested of him ahead of time, along with lots of fun choices that everyone loved. The dance floor was so much fun because of his great music choices, his ability to make the songs flow well from one to the next, and his fun demeanor as our MC. Our dance floor was full and everyone had a great time the whole night. We very highly recommend him as a DJ for weddings receptions or really any events that are searching for a fun, interactive DJ who will play great music and who is professional, reliable and easy to work with.

Very Happy Couple

My new husband and I, were so happy to have found the Party Connection for our special day, and were very pleased to have David E. and his team for our wedding.
David did an outstanding job as the master of ceremonies, and right from the first song he played, he created the perfect atmosphere.
Our chocolate fountain was fantastic. We went with the dark chocolate, and it was delish. All of our friends and family raved about it.
We went with the enclosed photo booth, and our attendant made it so much fun. She was very interactive and helped us with props and different choices of poses. We had an absolute blast.
From the first phone call, David was warm, friendly, and helpful, and made suggestions that we didn’t even think of. We highly recommend the party connection and David E.
We truly thank you David, for making our day so wonderful, and memorable.

Hire the party Connection

Dave was our DJ and from the beginning he was fantastic. Getting married during covid was hard but Dave made it easy. Gave us song suggestions coordinated everything with venue he made sure everything went smooth. He answers all calls and texts right away. He is local and has great personality. He made things perfect. He goes above and beyond. My blood sugar crashed after ceremony and he grabbed me ok. We couldn’t be happier with the company. Thank you Dave

Amazing responsiveness, great price and made our kiddos happy

We will be doing business with Dave again! We hired him for our school's Fall Fest and he was the highlight of the entire event. We really were trying to give these kiddos a good time after all the pandemic had taken from them! Dave went above and beyond! David E is the G.O.A.T!

David E - the best of the best! He is professional, organized, fun and an amazing MC! I used to work in the wedding industry in Rochester and I have worked with many "DJ's" over the years. Anyone can call themselves a DJ these days...David E is more than just a DJ! He knows just what to say and the right moment, comes prepared with more than needed (had a mic stand for the ceremony without even asking for one!) I couldn't have been happier with his services for my cousins fairy tale wedding. Also, I was worried about the acoustics because the reception was located in a pole barn, but his brand new speakers sounded top notch! Thank you for everything David E!!!

The best!!

We hired DJ Dave for our wedding reception and could not be happier. We grew a great relationship with Dave throughout the entire process and he literally answered our call WHENEVER we needed him. He was fantastic with communication. When it came to the day, Dave kept the party going the entire night. He played a great mix of songs to tend to all age groups. He even got the crowd involved which we absolutely loved. We could have requested so many songs, but Dave even thought of ones that slipped our minds that we love. We also had a photobooth which was a big hit with our guests. Everyone got to take home copies of their pictures and we were able to receive a thumb drive with all of the pictures when we returned from our honeymoon. Dave, thank you so much for being fun, professional, and taking part in our special day, we appreciate you! Please hire Dave for your next even and you won’t be sorry!!

Awesome and Professional

Dave was our Dj. We had a small intimate wedding that was romantic. He played Romantic accustic music before the ceremony and kicked into high gear after cocktail hr with some country , Rock, Old Disco and Dance music. He totally rocked it. He is a true professional that is friendly and caring. There was one point I got a bit overheated and he offered to get me a beverage. He puts his all into an event and reads the crowd. We also purchased the photobooth which was a big hit with guests! All in All it was a phenominal event. TY Dave! Hire this man. I have hired DJs in the past for other events and I will be coming back to TPC. He totally blew us away! I highly recommend!

Very satisfied with the services we received for our reception.

We are so happy that we chose David E. from the Party Connection. From the very start he was personable, and professional, suggesting songs that we had not thought of to use at our reception. He included personal touches such as a photo taken of the of the both of us in his studio where the guests signed their names and wrote sentiments about our special day. As a result, we now have as a treasured keepsake for years to come.
We purchased the DJ and photography package, and could not have been more pleased with the services he provided. His prices were quite affordable, and he put us at ease with every aspect of the evenings’ activities.
David is a wonderful MC, and he knew just how to engage our guests by choosing the perfect mix of songs that appealed to a wide range of ages and musical interests. He got everybody up and dancing, and made our wedding reception a very enjoyable experience.
I recently contacted David to request another DVD of our wedding day, and he was more than happy to assist me with my request even after the 10 years that had passed since our wedding.
I would definitely give David a 5 star rating, and will highly recommend him to anyone who is currently looking into hiring a quality DJ for the perfect venue for their wedding!

Future date, Experience has been great

I have been planning a wedding in Rochester, New York for a while and I plan to use The Party Connection as my DJ. Unfortunately, I had to push back my date twice due to covid, but I'm planning to do a vow renewal within the next couple of years. Throughout this whole process, David has been so patient, flexible, understanding and accommodating. I highly recommend the party connection, so far my experience has been great.

Professional and fun!

David was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad he was our DJ! I can't say enough about his professionalism. He was always so quick to get back to me with any questions or concerns, and ended every phone call with "what else can I do to help you?". He was so on top of the details of our big day and you can tell that he not only takes his job seriously, but also really loves what he does! He had a lot of great ideas, and he understood when my husband and I wanted to skip some of the more traditional things and keep it more low key. The whole vibe was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. He had a couple really fun things to get our guests in party mode and get people out on the dance floor. One thing I especially loved and appreciated was when he took the time to acknowledge by name, our wedding coordinator, the bar tender, and the staff for all their hard work. I gave him a pretty extensive song list and he was able to get them all and play them during the night which I really appreciated. He has great package options for all his services and pricing was very competitive. Highly recommend!

The Party Connection was the best. From day one they were very helpful and easy to work with. They put us at ease and made this a enjoyable process. the price was great and the service was better. they took the time to plan and confirm with us the music playlist, the ceremony music and the reception events. the execution the day of the wedding was flawless. Everyone enjoyed the music, photo booth and the upbeat DJ who kept the party going! i had many guest tell me how great the DJ was and how fun the photo booth is. We used The Party Connection as our DJ for our wedding on July 8th. What can I say about David E., other than he was GREAT!!! He was so helpful from the beginning to the end. You can tell he loves what he does. Everyone loved him. He was so helpful at keeping everything moving and on schedule. We also used the photo booth thru his company which was awesome! The guests loved it. There was cool props and he provided an attendant to assist everyone with there pictures. Guests who used the photo booth got to leave with the pictures they had taken. The photos were also personalized with framing and wording that had our wedding info on them. I would for sure recommend David E. and The Party Connection for all your party needs. :)

If you are looking for a great professional and friendly DJ, who don't need to look anywhere else because, The Party Connection was awesome and everything we were looking for. We looked at The Party Connection after the DJ we had hired backed out and now we are so happy he did. David E will get your guests up dancing and having a time they will remember. Our guests are still talking about it and comment on what a great night they all had. We opted to get the props package and our guests had a great time and many laughs. So, it is well worth getting that package for the amount of fun you will have. Our guests also loved David E, our DJ, and how funny and involved he was the entire night. My husband and I were thrilled will him and there are no words to explain how happy we were with the whole night. David, our videographer and our photographer, hats off to all of our for a night that will always be remember as one of the best for fun, for laughs and for a great way to start our life as husband and wife. One very happy Bride and Groom. Plus, we had so much fun, we are planning on doing it again for our one year anniversary:)

The Party Connection is amazing! I just hosted a Couples Baby Shower for my Daughter and Son-in-Law at the Burgundy Basin. David E Stevens provided the music with his Special Request DJ services. He has an extremely professional sound system and an innovative state of the art lighting service which he provided for us as well. He is light hearted, fun , and he really kept the party on track! We also used his fantastic Photo Booth! The props were great and the picture quality was superior! He created a personalized template for the pictures which had my Daughter and Son-in-Law's name , date, and Baby Shower Beach theme pictured on each photo. His Photo Booth is user friendly and he also provided an attendant all evening. We will always cherish these pictures. We also used his photography service. Bob Zucco is an amazing photographer! He Knew what we wanted and captured so many special moments. We love these wonderful photographs. The Party Connection helped us create a very fun and special event and everyone had a really great time. I highly recommend their services.

I love The Party Connection! David is awesome and you can tell he loves what he does! He shows a lot of excitement for the events he does. Have ever tried calling someone with a question or e-mailing and they never respond or take too long? David is the opposite! He gets back to you very quickly and answers any questions or concerns you may have! I highly suggest The Party Connection! :)

I have worked with David Stevens from The Party Connection over the past 15 years. He has provided his services for my family for weddings, fundraisers and birthday parties. He recently provided DJ services and photography for my daughter's surprise 16th birthday party. He was a huge hit to a group of teenagers, which is not easy to do! David is extremely professional, flexible and friendly. He is easy to work with and is in close contact during event planning. Dave with The Party Connection was an absolute pleasure to work with. The first time I met him he said "I want you to feel like a guest at your own wedding" and he did just that. Dave went above an beyond on the day of the wedding to make sure everything was perfect. He made suggestions and took upon some tasks that I would have never expected. He truly made our wedding a memorable one. If I would have employed any other DJ. My wedding would have been ruined.

I will highly recommend special request DJ service and the party connection for going above and beyond for my wedding!!! We booked a bundle package... DJ, Photographer, Photo booth and Video. They are truly friendly, engaging, flexible and listened to my requests. We also had a chocolate fountain with tons of fruits to dip in it!!! Delish!!! If you're looking for the best package deal this is the place to go. Very affordable!

David E deserves a perfect 5 stars from me!! He was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. He made everything so easy for me and made sure I was up-to-date on everything the whole day and night. His prices are very good and his services are endless. We only used the DJ service but there is so much more that is great!! He chose songs for me when I did not know what to pick and they worked out great!! He keep the crowd going and is very personal. I felt like he had known my husband and I for years!! In 1998, I contracted with David Stevens, of The Party Connection. I was so thankful to have found such an easy going, no nonsense type of person to help with my daughters wedding! He did the DJ service, limousines, photography & videography. We could have been more pleased. David is so accommodating, and so much fun. He keeps the party going for sure!! We had so many beautiful memories of my daughters wedding, that when it came time for my grandsons wedding, we contacted David from The Party Connection right away! Again, he did an amazing job, and I will recommend him over and over. When it comes time for the rest of my grandchildren to get married, David WILL be there!!!!

When we got married in 1998, we went to Party Connection, and we worked with David Stevens. Awesome person, and a fantastic DJ. He did an amazing job, kept the party going! He was so much fun and humorous, making for a GREAT time. Such a memorable time! One wedding that was talked about for years. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that when it came time for our son to get married, we IMMEDIATELY contacted the Party Connection once again. Even after all of these years, David Stevens, has still got it! He did ANOTHER fantastic job....so much fun! Extremely friendly & helpful, the whole event moved along very smoothly because of them. The D.J. was very accommodating to our personal preferences. Also the photographer was very easy to work with, he did an amazing job & we love our pictures. Affordable prices, great packages to choose from. David E. & his team were a pleasure to do business with. They definitely helped make the day as stress free as possible which is important for any bride on her big day.

We had David E for our dj and we also hired him and staff for our videographer, i just want to say he was AMAZING iv been reccomending him to all of my bride friends that are getting married! His high energy kept the party going and the people on the dance floor we even had a light with our names in it on the dance floor! We just received our wedding video and i couldn't be happier its 2 disks that i can pull out whenever i want to re live my wedding day! Dave and the rest of the staff at The Party Connection were awesome to work with! Any details that needed to be changed quickly were not a problem. We used Special Request DJ/Party Connection for our year end school party (400 in attendance). They made the party so much fun! David is a master at getting the crowd moving and keeping everyone dancing. He is extremely accommodating and is willing to satisfy all of our special requests. We've been using them for this event for about 5 years now and we rely on them to keep our party hopping. They always deliver!

The party connection was great. I had my sons wedding reception and they made it the best time ever. Dave did such a great job in every way, the way Dave entertained while he dj the whole nite was amazing,he got everyone to dance, even my 76 yr old mom that is partial hanDicaped. He had swarms of guest asking for his card and booking a event with him.I also Had my sons graduations party with Dave, it was the best party with him, between the decorations and Great music he had everyone even the neighbors on there feet. He even gave us a Extra hr of music as a deal? He is highly energetic and fun. If there is A dj with class it's Dave with the party connection, he is great!

I run a party house and see a lot of DJs every weekend. When I saw David from The Party Connection I hired him right away for a personal event of my own. He is amazing to work with. He managed to get every song we wanted even the hard ones to find. He has a way of making the bride and groom or the guest of honor special, more than any other DJ I have seen. The DJ sets the tone for the party and they can make or break it. Dave creates energy and soul. The photo booth was a blast and everyone got to take home a memory. Great attitude, affordable pricing and a gift of bringing life to a party, I am so happy that I found them and I will be recommending him to all my brides and other events.

Great company, willing to do everything in their power to make our day. Our DJ had the party going all night long, and they even offer to stay an extra hour for a small fee! Great service, I would definitely recommend them.

Dave E from The Party Connection/Special Request DJ was our son & daughter-in-laws wedding DJ recently. He definitely knows how to read a crowd and kept the party going at a great pace all night! He played a great variety of music, incorporated the couple's requested songs, and had just the right amount of announcements. We also had a photobooth which was a big hit. Not only did guests receive print outs that night, but the couple received all of the images digitally as well.

Dave has been coming to the Legacy ar Cranberry Landing for many different events during the course of a year. He is professional, high energy, creative, and a pleasure to perform as a DJ for my residents. He always thinks outside the box to make all our events fun and successful. The residents have commented many times how great a DJ he is. I have had other DJ's here at Cranberry Landing but Dave has been the best in every area. I would highly recommend Dave to be a DJ for any event no matter what it is. For a senior community where residents range in age of 80+ Dave goes above and beyond to give his all. My residents love the music he picks depending on the occasion and he makes it fun each and every time.

Everyone we dealt with was so wonderful. They made us feel very comfortable. I thought that I would be extremely nervous however I found myself not to be, in fact I was laughing most of the evening everything was perfect, from the music, to the pictures we chose, to the video that was made....we loved it all!

Party Connections was a very good company to do business with. They did very well with the tuxedos and made everything fun! They went through everything with the music and were very flexible by doing everything we needed and wanted. They organized all the photos and video with the photographer and the videorgrapher. We had lots of fun with them. They were very creative! All was good with everything. Everyone involved was very nice and was a blast to work with. Thanks for a good time!

I used David E(dj/owner)because he was used at my uncles wedding. Well...I told him a few things I wanted done and he screwed them up. He was very friendly and personable but I was definitely a little disappointed. They didnt announce or give time to prep for the bouquet toss or the garter toss. My dad wanted to do a surprise dance for my mom and a separate one for my sister. well...my sister wasnt even around when he announced it. Plus we had told him we were doing an outside ceremony and at the last minute he decided to charge us for it!

Working with David E in the beginning was fantastic; he listened to all of our requests, answered all of our questions- we had no concerns with the direction of our night. We were in a meeting finalizing our music, the Wednesday before, when Dave told us that he hadn’t received payment. Which was due about five weeks before the wedding, we mailed it to the address he has on his invoice. We were not once told to mail to a different location, the 50 Stutson st. address does not receive mail. Dave looked in to having processed payment. He then called us after the post office close Thursday, so Friday we found out that the money orders were not sent back or held at the post office. After claiming he would bend over backwards for us, he was not willing to work with us. We finally worked it out with family very last minute, causing a lot of stress on what had been a stress free planning experience. Hoping that was the last of our problems, as we were lining up to make our entrance he came out and told us he did not have an entrance song pick by one of the bridal party couples, it was “ Here comes the boom” by Nelly, something we had already finalized with him. We moved past that too, thinking it was the last thing. During our meetings with Dave he made a few suggestions to us for cocktail/dinner music, Buble was about 90% of what we heard until the dancing began. On a positive note, the Photobooth was GREAT! The attendant made the entire booth very user friendly. Only a couple guests were not able to receive their copy of the pictures. Actually waiting in line for the photobooth myself I heard the beginning of mine and my husbands first dance song -frustrating. There were a lot of repeats through the night, requests were not played or played as we were leaving. We asked for no garter/bouquet traditions - because we don’t like them, and he did them anyway. We had a great night overall, this review was to be honest so others can be cautious when picking their vendors.
