  Having our reception at the Park Ballroom relieved so much stress for me in the planning and budget pieces of my wedding. They were easy to work with, laid back, and extremely reasonable. The food was delicious, the service was fabulous and my guests could not stop raving about how well everything went. I would recommend the Park Ballroom to anyone getting married -- it is affordable, especially if you have a lot of guests, and you won't find a dance floor that big anywhere around here! I was also able to rent my centerpieces from them which was very convenient.

  Wonderful place to host a reception! They are professional and have been hosting wedding receptions for a long time, which means they know what they are doing. We did have one snafu about the liquor as the contract read one thing but I remembered the coordinator saying something else when we met to set everything up, but it was solved easily. The coordinator was professional about it with me becoming a slightly frustrated bride after my dad had to run out to buy hard liquor, and he was generous enough to throw in cake plates (which we also forgot) at no extra charge. The food was excellent, and the bartenders were tolerant of the crazy antics of a few of our friends. I am sure not many can say their father learned how to play beer pong at their wedding reception!

  The food is good the space is large and you can't ask for a better price. For how close it is to the cities we only paid 15.00 per plate and had an open bar that was good money. If you are looking for something so elegant this might not be your place but if you are looking for space and a fun atmosphere sign up!

  Growing up going to umpteen weddings at the Park, I knew it was my wedding reception site. The wedding availability calendar is online, which helps in narrowing down dates. The only drawback I had was reaching the booking coordinator was tricky and I was super anxious to get a date booked. After that everything was smooth sailing. You won't get a better meal for a better price. THe dancefloor is immaculate and the bar prices are super reasonable too!

The only down-side is that you have to pay for the number of people that RSVP'd, so if you have a blizzard on the day of your wedding (like we did!) and quite a few people do not show, you have already paid for them to be there. Highly recommended!

  Park Ballroom was a large facility for our family we wanted people to feel comfortable! This was the ticket for us... The ballroom seats 900 and our 350 head enough room that they could hang out and still hear each other even when the DJ is playing

  Decor is not the most desireable...and bringing in your own seemed difficult...but the bang for the buck and the size sell the place.
