To give prospective couples an idea of just how excellent a ceremony Laura created: many of our guests asked us how long we had known Laura, assuming she was an old friend. It all starts with a getting to know you Zoom call followed by in-depth questionnaires for my wife and me. From our answers, Laura was able to weave a perfect ceremony for our story. We were also able to include meaningful traditions in our nuptials that made the day even more special. Could not have asked for a better ceremony. -

A Magical Elopement to Paris.
It has been almost 3 months since our Paris elopement, and we are still on a high from the experience. Laura created such a personalized experience for us, curating our schedule and every detail meticulously so that we could just savor the magic of our day.
Everything was planned perfectly, and she and her team exceeded our expectations in every way. Living in the US and unfamiliar with Paris, Laura really took time to listen to us and understand our tastes and preferences. She put us at ease, removing uncertainty and relieving all of our stress, while sharing recommendations on where to stay, offering ceremony and photo locations, scheduling options and coordinating transportation. All we had to do was wake up and enjoy the ride.
She was delightful to work with throughout and orchestrated a beautiful experience and ceremony full of personal touches that only someone who truly knows us would’ve been able to include. By mixing romantic French passages with English in officiating, she made for an authentically Paris experience which we loved.
Everything was perfect: From the moment the stylist arrived at our hotel in the morning, to the friendly hotel greetings as we embarked, amazing transportation provided by a warm chauffeur who shared personal insights to Paris life and history while we travelled around the city, to the beautiful waterfront ceremony under the eye of the Eiffel Tower, to the way the photo/video team treated us like celebrities, capturing the day with us around Paris like a well knowledge entourage navigating the best lighting and finding iconic spots to photograph us at the Louvre, the bridge, and other amazing spots, shooting with angles only a local expert would employ.
Everything was like a perfect dream, and as we departed from Laura at the end of the day, it was like waving to an old friend. She treated us so well, personalized every moment to our preferences, and officiated our ceremony with such bright energy and romantic language. The beauty of the day and Paris has imprinted our hearts, and we are still reeling from the magic of the experience. -

Laura was the officiant for our wedding two weeks ago at the Château d'Ermenonville, and we cannot recommend her highly enough! From our very first interaction, we knew we were in great hands. After being recommended by our wedding planner, Laura quickly set up a Zoom call with us, and we felt an instant connection with her warm and friendly personality.
She took the time to get to know us on a deep level, sending us thoughtful questionnaires about our story, our values, and how we met. She also offered to review our personal vows, which was very helpful.
Our request was not a simple one: we wanted a mixed Persian and Western ceremony, conducted in both French and English. But she took that challenge with enthusiasm and professionalism. She researched the Sofreh Aghd tradition and did a beautiful job explaining its significance to our guests. Her ability to seamlessly switch between French and English was flawless, ensuring that everyone felt included in the ceremony.
On the day of the wedding, Laura made us feel completely at ease. She coordinated perfectly with our wedding planner, and the entire ceremony flowed beautifully. We received many compliments from our guests, who were all impressed by her professionalism.

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to officiate and plan our elopement in Paris than Laura, The Paris Officiant. From the very beginning, she was incredibly organized, attentive, and so easy to communicate with — which made planning from another country feel completely stress-free.

Process:
The entire experience was so much more than what we imagined! Laura and her team created the perfect and intimate elopement experience. From start to finish, Laura made the entire process such a breeze. She was professional, flexible, detail oriented, and did a great job communicating effectively with us She provided clear instructions on the what, where, when, why, how. She was honest and we appreciated all of her suggestions about the photoshoot and ceremony location, hair/makeup, flowers, transportation you name it. If you are someone who is a perfectionist and anxious about trusting a stranger to put together your elopement dream, trust me when I say do not worry, Laura will go far and beyond for you! She holds your hand every step of the way.
Elopement day:
I was definitely nervous about meeting the person who was going to doll me up, but the makeup/hairstylist Katia had the magic touch! We both established rapport. I appreciated how she confirmed the look I wanted and just like that she made me look and feel like the most beautiful woman in Paris. She has the patience, the artistic eye and passion to create a beautiful new you.
The driver with the vintage car picked us up from the hotel. The car was just super cool and worth the experience. My husband and I felt like celebrity’s; people waved at us and took pictures of us! I highly recommended booking the vintage car as part of your package!
Although, everything was just a few hours, it felt like time moved so intimately slow, my husband and I were both able to enjoy every single minute of our ceremony and photoshoot. Laura put together a beautiful ceremony. It felt like she has known my husband and I for years. She is good with her words. We had so much fun and that is exactly why we decided to elope to avoid the unnecessary stress of a wedding.

Laura was so amazing! 5 stars is not enough!! From the start she was so friendly and really detailed. She asked us a lot of questions to really get to know my husband and I. We actually found it fun to read over each other’s surveys when we got them back after the wedding. She printed out our vows and made them really beautiful, as well as printing out her entire ceremony script. It was one of my favorite little surprises of my wedding day. She was truly perfect , and I could have not picked a better person to marry me to my best friend.

We had the pleasure of having Laura as our officiant for our wedding last September, and there truly aren't enough words to express how wonderful she was during this momentous occasion in our lives. Laura is an absolute JOY— Responsive, intuitive, organized, creative, tuned in—- she understands the beauty of relationships and the value of a meaningful ceremony to enhance feelings. Derek and I decided to renew our vows for our 35th wedding anniversary. And to do it in Paris! We feel so very blessed to have found Laura and to have worked with her during the year and a half we were dreaming our trip and our ceremony into being.
Laura patiently and expertly helped us maneuver through pandemic possibilities, health concerns, whether to wear a hat or not for the ceremony, and all kinds of other things, big and small. When I told her my hubby was a car guy, she found the perfect 1954 vintage Citroen for us. Her florist did a beautiful job on my sweet bouquet and Laura’s recommended hair/make up person was a dream come true. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so pretty! When I told Laura that we both love music, she recommended a violinist who played beautifully and was utterly delightful!
Laura’s photographers were extraordinary! We had a fabulous videographer as well. All recommended by Laura. She put together the whole team and was the main point of contact for every detail. She gave us packages so we could pick and choose what fit our needs, our budget, our dream. The sites she offered as possibilities for the ceremony and also photo shoots were extraordinary. They took my breath away, and still do! And the best part? The photo shoots were not just photo shoots. We were in a love bubble and could feel the connection with each other the entire time. Laura‘s ceremony was really deep and beautiful and meaningful. And fun! After 35 years, my hubby and I were still learning things about each other. How magical is that!
Now we are back home in Virginia and marveling in the photos and marinating in the incredible experience we had that morning in Paris. “Romance in France” and “France Trance”. Everything we renewed that morning is alive and well with us in our every day life now. That’s the gift of a deeply emotional and sacred experience. And the proof that real relationships are worth maintaining and even splurging on!

Where to begin?! Laura is absolutely spectacular and wonderful, not enough praise can be given! My fiance and I had a symbolic ceremony with Laura this summer, and it felt like we had known her for ages. She is so very personable, and truly gets to know you. The ceremony itself was wonderful, with a little French mixed in, which is beautiful in itself. I cannot give enough praise and recommendation for Laura! Laura was perfect, we spent so much time looking for the right person with the right feel as I am fairly picky and know what I want and we definitely found that,
From start to finish Laura was professional, warm, helpful. Personable, prompt and we had confidence in her from start to end. Which was a long time given a 2 year covid related delay to the wedding!
She created a ceremony which felt deeply personal which had our guest in tears and also bouts of laughter and really listened to what we wanted and how we wanted eveything to feel on the day and delivered just that, we have had many people commenting on how wonderful she was and special it felt,
Just before the ceremony she was a calming influence, took last minute changes in her stride and you truly feel she is excited to be part of your day with you which just means so much, given how central her role is to it.

The Dream Officiant!
From start to finish, Laura was an absolute dream to work with. Her communication is thorough and clear which was SO helpful when trying to plan a wedding in Paris from the US! She also supported our planning process by suggesting other vendors- the violinists she recommended were incredible.
Laura's process for getting to know us was great (she's clearly done this a million times before)! Her questionnaires really covered everything about our relationship and she used them to write such a beautiful ceremony script. On the day of, she was everything a perfect officiant could be -- calm, cool, collected, well-spoken, well-dressed and just a joy to be around. We could not recommend Laura more!! The most memorable day!
I cannot say enough about Laura and how wonderful it was to work with her! Laura helped my husband and I plan a 20 year vow renewal in Paris and the morning was so special. Laura is kind, friendly and professional. She communicated quickly and helpfully throughout the whole process. And when we finally met Laura in person for the first time, I felt like I was meeting a friend! She prepared a meaningful and sweet ceremony for our special day. We laughed and cried and made wonderful memories.. She put me at ease and I knew immediately that we were in good hands. I couldn't recommend her more! Absolutely perfect
My husband and I decided to have a simple wedding elopement in Paris and that is when I found Laura’s website. From the get-go, Laura has been extremely professional, polite and fast to respond. She was knowledgeable, accommodating and made me feel completely at ease as the ceremony was taken care of.
I cannot say enough great things about the ceremony itself. It was absolutely beautiful, thanks to Laura my husband and I got to relive our best relationship moments, we laughed and cried and I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect and intimate ceremony. Laura put it all together beautifully.
We are very grateful to have found such a perfect officiant for our symbolic wedding in Paris!! We are so happy and already know that once it’s going to be vow renewal time, we will definately choose Laura again!

Wonderful speaker, warm energy - highly recommend!
Planning a wedding in Paris from NYC was no easy feat and working with Laura to officiate our wedding was the best choice we made. She is extremely professional, has the best warm energy, and is a beautiful writer and speaker. Our ceremony felt so personal, and we had just met in person that day - she truly has a gift. Laura was also great with changes to our schedule based on things outside of our control and we are forever thankful to her positivity and patience with us and our families. Laura has made our wedding day truly SPECIAL!
We had Laura as our wedding officiant on September 4, 2021. We can highly recommend her services. Our wedding was international and despite language barriers among the guests, the ceremony was set up in a way that everyone could follow and felt included. Her speech was very personal and was tailored to our personalities and the story how we fell in love. The ceremony was built up to include German, Russian, English and Latvian languages. Also our guests gave us only the greatest compliments about Laura and how caring, genuine and professional she was. From our side we can say that she was this way throughout the entire journey: from the moment we had our first meet-and-greet conversation to the moment we said "I do!"
For our milestone wedding anniversaries and ceremonies she will definitely be the first and only celebrant whom we will call.

The most incredible wedding officiant!
There are truly no words to express how much we loved working with Laura. We started planning our elopement in Paris during COVID and she was so helpful in every step of the process. She helped us decide on a location and even went by ahead of time to make sure it was open for us. When it came to the actual ceremony, Laura truly took her time to curate a beautiful and personal ceremony that fit my husband and I perfectly. We were nervous to elope only because we were afraid the ceremony wouldn't be meaningful and Laura blew it out of the water. I can't wait to re-read all of the details over and over again. If you are thinking of getting married in Paris, DO IT and know that Laura is the best of the best! We've attended tons of weddings and although I may be biased, I've never felt so touched by a ceremony before. Thank you so much for everything, Laura! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Laura. She made our day above and beyond special and our elopement to Paris could never have been as perfect as it was without her help. From the very beginning she was extremely communicative and attentive. She took our ideas and planned all of the ins and outs of the entire day and had plenty of suggestions when I needed insight or help deciding on things. She eased my stress and took time to get to know myself and my fiancé (now husband). The day of, the flowers were perfect, my hair and makeup was perfect, the itinerary and coordination and locations were perfect and photos were all perfect! All of the vendors we were so lucky to get to work with were amazing, just trust her, she knows the absolute best people in the business! The best part though, was the ceremony she wrote. It was personal and heartfelt and more beautiful that I could have ever imagined. I would do it over again in a heartbeat and rehire Laura every time....maybe we will for an anniversary or vow renewal down the road! Who knows?! -

Fairy Tale Vow Renewal
When searching for an officiant to do our wedding vow renewal in Paris Laura’s page stood out to me among the many choices. We were not disappointed in our choice. Because of the covid lockdowns our appointment had to be rescheduled several times and Laura‘s communication was excellent throughout the whole period. She answered every question quickly and with much detail and assistance. She offered abundant answers to my questions and my requests. Her recommendation for our photographer could not have been better. (Sasha - Timeless Paris) The vow renewal ceremony itself was extremely elegant. Our location had to change because of construction and she had a suggestion that was perfect. Her ceremony was unique and customized for us and was very lovely. The wording, quotes, vows, and personalization was blissful. We felt as though we were in a fairy tale. If you are looking for a wedding vow renewal or a wedding officiant she is the perfect choice. We are so blessed to be able to have worked with Laura. We could not recommend her more. -

Professional comfortable
I, Alicia, didn't expect much from anyone at the point of my enlopement with my husband due to last minute cancelations and covid restrictions, but Laura and her team did amazing with planning everything that we wanted and hoped for. We initially had an amazing trip to Thailand for our wedding/honeymoon the beginning of our trip July 4-24, 2021, but plans were destroyed and we ended up planning spontaneously going all through Europe instead. I was devastated planning my wedding for the 4th time, as many of us can relate, but ending up in Paris as our last destination and finding Laura was phenomenal. She provided exactly what we both imagined and dreamed of in our wedding. Initially, I wanted a big wedding with my family and friends, as well as my husband's family and friends, but covid hit and we had to postpone it over and over. It was frustrating and annoying, but I'm super immaculated as to what Laura had presented to us in a fashionably late manner. She was comforting, poise, at ease, and beyond professional with her readings to us during the ceramony.
Thank you again, Laura, for everything.
I asked my husband when we got home to the states how he felt:
"I love how personal the whole ceremony was. It was just you and I- no one else. That's all I cared about. I appreciate how you found someone who can accommodate what we want/need/deserve. Honestly, if we were to have the big wedding with my family back at home , I would have made my vows almost "funny" to make the crowd laugh instead of being personal and at one with you. So I am happy for Laura and her team!"

I actually found Laura through wedding wire when I was searching for wedding officiants in Paris. I had this vision of running off to Paris with my fiance and eloping in some beautiful garden. Which we almost had but due to COVID had to make a few changes. Luckily, Laura was still able to officiate our wedding via Zoom this past month. We still eloped in a beautiful garden but in SF instead of Paris. Laura was very professional and responsive. She worked well with our wishes and even included a few of our jokes into the vows. We were cracking up the entire ceremony at what we had wrote without the other knowing. If you are on a budget and looking to have someone really take the time to know you and put something beautiful together for you, you cant go wrong with her! -

Elopement Ceremony in Paris
Laura is the absolute best! Being from out of the country we were lost and didn’t know where to start. Laura walked us through the entire process including providing references (great ones!) for a photographer and florist. The weather was a bit unpredictable and Laura was incredibly flexible for us and changed dates last minute so we could have better weather. I am so thankful to have found and worked with Laura. When my fiancé and I discussed the idea of eloping for our wedding, we weren’t really sure where to start. I ended up finding Laura on Instagram and quickly fell in love with her style and her promise for couples’ elopement. I had a lot of questions and Laura was very responsive and gave clear thorough answers, making our decision so simple. Weeks before the ceremony we were in constant communication on the date, time, where to meet, and she gave several tips for us as we have never been to Paris before. Laura had us complete a questionnaire in advance so she could write a special ceremony unique to our story - I was very impressed with how well written and meaningful our ceremony was. Exceeded All Expectations
When we decided that we were going to renew our vows in Paris for our 25th wedding anniversary, I began to research what was available to make our day special. Living in the US, I scoured the internet and stumbled upon The Paris Officiant. After our initial email, I immediately knew Laura was going to be the perfect match for us! Her timely, kind and concise responses to my many, many questions put our minds at ease.
Laura provided us with an incredibly meaningful and intimate ceremony. Laura incorporated our children and a Celtic hand-fasting ritual into the traditional ceremony and made it so very personal. There are no words. There are no words to describe the eternal gratitude we have for Laura. We have already decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary by renewing our vows with her - a promise we intend to keep. From the moment we met, it was as if we had been long time friends coming together again. To say that we were nervous is a huge understatement, but Laura’s calming presence and elegant demeanour allowed us to simply be in the moment. We never once felt judged, rushed, or pressured. In fact, a wave of relief and excitement flooded over me when she ran over and hugged us hello for the first time. This is it - we’re finally getting married! Laura made the entire experience breathtakingly beautiful, ever so loving, and absolutely unforgettable. She is a pure romantic, and her love for love is truly awe-inspiring. Her passion translated melodically into our ceremony and she flawlessly represented the depth of our relationship for us to reflect on. Our elopement was just the two of us, but it felt like we were surrounded by adoring friends who would do exactly what Laura did - genuinely celebrate us and cheer us on. Laura made our special day absolutely magical!
WOW!!! Laura is amazing, she more than exceeded our expectations! From the moment my wife Lauren and I made contact with Laura to organise our wedding in Paris she was friendly, helpful and always quick to reply with all the questions we had. As we were organising our wedding in Paris from Australia we had to rely on her quite a bit for assistance & advice on other suppliers etc to use on our big day and she always gave us lots of options.
Leading up to our big day, she made regular contact with us to make sure that we were ready, our personal vows were written and also to make sure she could ensure our ceremony was customised for us and our love story.
On the day of our wedding Laura was warm, friendly just absolutely lovely and it actually felt like we had known her for years. The ceremony she created for us was incredible, the thought she put into it to ensure the whole ceremony reflected us and our love story was beautiful.
Lauren & I had decided to write our love stories separate to then send them through to Laura and the way she brought them together was awesome. She even incorporated a French song into our ceremony and we said ‘I do’ in French & English. All these small touches that Laura incorporated made our day absolutely magical, we can't thank her enough. -

Laura definitely EXCEEDED our expectations. She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Arranging a wedding in France from USA was very overwhelming but Laura made the entire process very easy. Laura is Amazing! From my first interaction with her I knew we were in good hands. Laura was very helpful to provide ceremony options and locations for us and very responsive even with planning with a 6 hour time difference. The detail she put into everything, put me at ease. Once we decided on the type of ceremony Laura was able to take my personal vows and incorporate them beautifully in our ceremony. We had a winter outdoor ceremony and Laura was in contact up to the day to make sure everything was still as planned and she was flexible if we needed to go in doors. Luckily we were able to have our original location and when we arrived Laura was ready and waiting for us. Laura has a friendly warmth to her and you can tell she loves what she does. She made our ceremony memorable by the French touches and personalized detail, and it made such an impact for us. I highly recommend her for anyone getting married in Paris!!!

Laura - The Paris Officiant made our wedding ceremony in Paris special and unforgettable. It was the best day of our lives, and the most emotional. Laura made sure we were both comfortable and ready on the day, before starting the ceremony. She filled our ceremony with laughter, happy tears and joy. She connected deeply with us and and told our love story. From my first email, sent all the way from Australia - Laura made everything easy - I didn't have to worry about a thing. Laura loves love. You can see it on her face. She is the perfect person to have by your side on your special day 110%!! Also - Laura even took photos of us after the ceremony and sent them to me later - I didn't even have to ask her! It helped so much as the professional photos were not ready as it was still my wedding day! Laura's quick thinking meant I had a photo to send family and friends back in Australia that night. Laura is very kind and patient. She understood what we wanted and wrote the most beautiful and memorable ceremony that was tailored to our story and to who we are. She flew all the way to Corsica to officiate our ceremony. She is very easy and professional to work with.
My husband and I have three different language backgrounds, so for us it was important to incorporate at least two of them. Laura is fluent in english, german and french. Perfect! She was able to incorporate all three languages without making it long or boring. She has brilliant ideas and made our ceremony so much more special! It was a pleasure working with Laura. She was extremely professional before and during the ceremony. We could exchange with her through Skype then via email in order to give her all the information about who we are as a couple and what we are expecting from the ceremony. As we had a bilingual wedding, we had a translator and Laura coordinated with her perfectly. Laura was extremely responsive and supportive with all communicate and took the time to have various calls with my husband and I to really understand who we are as individuals and as a couple, the result was incredible -a personalised, touching and romantic ceremony from start to finish. We both felt like Laura was actually part of our family as the service was so well written and loving not to mention calming which is what we needed during the service.
Laura also worked closely with all necessary people on the day from the string quartet, the groomsmen, bridesmaids and photographer to deliver a fairy tale wedding which ran like clockwork.
She also wore pink to beautifully match our wedding day theme, again another personal touch to add to the overall magic of our special day.
Laura is a rock star and comes highly recommended by both of us.
