Anna and Jordan with The Otherside Creatives (TOC) go above-and-beyond for their couples and are truly outstanding advocates, sounding boards, and experts of their craft. We hired TOC for event management and coordination starting 2 months prior to our wedding, but they were helpful from the time we signed our contract over a year before our wedding day. Through regular check-in calls and excellent communication via email, Anna and Jordan never let us feel like we were bothering them or exceeding the scope of our contract. We had a very clear vision of the type of wedding we wanted to create, and TOC helped us find the right vendors, stepped in to troubleshoot contract challenges and issues, and helped to guide us in the right direction to set everything up for success leading up to the day. Finding the right people to support your wedding is exceptionally daunting, but Anna and Jordan’s network and knowledge of the market–coupled with their attention to detail and ability to understand our vision–helped them to recommend incredible vendors that all exceeded our expectations.
Once TOC took over the event management of our wedding, Anna and Jordan swiftly coordinated all of our vendors, created a timeline taking all of our wants and needs into consideration, and ensured that the entire wedding team were on the same page. They additionally helped us find some last-minute vendors (including a bakery that made an exceptional wedding cake with only a month’s notice) and worked to ensure we had everything we needed to execute the wedding that we wanted. Having them in our corner during the most stressful part of the planning process helped us to feel more confident and know that we are moving in the right direction.
On the day, TOC were consummate professionals. All vendors perfectly fulfilled all their obligations, and Anna and Jordan were there every step of the way to keep us moving along schedule without sacrificing the intimate or unplanned moments that make a wedding special. They did all of this with a smile and brought great energy throughout the day. TOC are not just great event organizers but they are fantastic people - they are courteous and wonderful to everyone they meet and treat guests, bridal party members, and the bride/groom with the same level of care and respect.
It’s rare to find such competence matched with awesome personalities and work-ethic. Anna and Jordan are an incredible partnership, and we are exceptionally thankful we went with them to help quarterback our wedding.

Until we found Anna and Jordan (recommended by a couple who was actively planning their own wedding with them) we were starting to panic trying to find a quality wedding planner we could trust. Our failed attempts to find a team on our own was a blessing in disguise because we truly lucked out with TOC. From the moment we signed on with them they made the planning process an actual breeze. Wedding planning is hard, but they made it astonishingly easy. From helping us pick vendors to making sure we didn’t go crazy, Anna and Jordan were an absolute gift from the universe!
Our wedding was over a month ago and we still have people telling us how memorable our event was. They work well under pressure, think on their feet and do everything possible to make sure your special day is one you’ll remember for all the right reasons. Their extended team is also one that cannot be beat.
They mean it when they say “some people were born to party” because our wedding was truly the best party we’ve ever thrown! We couldn’t have done it without them.

How do I even begin to say all the amazing things I want to about T.O.C? Even as a wedding vendor myself who knows the potent value of personal reviews, this has been almost 2 years in waiting. At the end of the day, I have so much praise to sing that I found myself procrastinating out of knowledge that words could never measure up.
Anna, Jordan, and their team are nothing but the absolute best Baltimore has to offer. Their kickass personalities, eye for design and detail, and true understanding of what nearly-weds need will ensure you fall in love with them immediately. As an industry insider for just about a decade, I have watched the T.O.C. team curate some of the most tailored and unique events of my whole career. Want timeless elegance that exudes luxury and a highly-curated vibe? Check. Want chic trends or industrial editorial style with all the moody drama you can bear? Check. Want to fill your day with color and just have a d*mn good time? Check, check, check.
If you have no idea what you want, but know you want a team who makes you feel at ease and will be your support system, you’re in the right place. Anna & Jordan will be your bright guiding lights amid the chaos of planning. If you’re type-A, like me, they will rock your socks off with their detail orientation and ensure they ask questions on your behalf you would never even get to if you had 10 years to plan the Big Day. This is a team who will stand up for you, explain things that you never knew existed, and move heaven and earth on the day to make sure things move smoothly. As for the magic-makers themselves, I am not exaggerating when I say that one of the things you will miss most about planning when all is said and done is gabbing with these gals. They both will make you feel like you are catching up with longtime friends from the jump. You will love them. Your mom will love them. Your rowdy extended family who are your troublemakers on the day will even love them and tell you how killer your planner team was when you see them at Thanksgiving. Be prepared to want to insta-stalk them forever, even when your wedding planning days are behind you.
From the vendor side of things, I can also speak to what an amazing job they do in partnering with the professional crew that makes your day come to life. Not only can they help you build a strong team if you need help finding the perfect fit for this-or-that, they also are incredibly collaborative and kind to those you bring on board. Communication is key, and definitely one of their superpowers. If your vendors have been around the block in the Baltimore scene, they will breathe a big sigh of relief on just seeing the TOC name show up on your vendor list.
I can also confidently say that if you don’t think you need a wedding planner, think again. I have seen couples leave behind their wedding license at the hotel, groomsmen forget their pants, and all manner of wedding day chaos that still gives me heart palpitations to this day. If you invest in ONE thing only for your day, let it be the team who will have your back.
To Anna & Jordan personally: thank you, thank you, thank you. My immense gratitude is impossible to pass on in words. I could have never done it without you, and I would never ever want to.

We truly hit the jackpot with Anna and Jordan as our wedding planners! We knew from our first meeting that they would be instrumental in bringing our dream day to life, but what they delivered exceeded our wildest expectations and we never wanted our wedding day to end. From connecting us with the perfect florist for our specific vision to navigating all of our wedding week weather and timeline stresses, we couldnt have made it through the planning process without their expertise, attention to detail and senses of humor.
Just 6 weeks before our wedding, my now-husband and I looked at each other for probably the millionth time at that point and said, “Thank goodness we have Anna and Jordan.” Our officiant had to drop out for personal reasons and we had no back-up plan. Within a few hours of our panicked Saturday morning text (during wedding season), Anna had gathered our options and connected us with a professional officiant. If that doesnt scream dedication, I don’t know what does.

There are not enough words in the universe to properly convey how amazing working with The Otherside Creatives team was. I am not exaggerating when I say that what I will miss most about wedding planning is collaborating with Anna and Jordan. They were so communicative throughout the entire planning process and their knowledge, expertise, and experience made the last couple of months leading up to our wedding day so smooth.
The week of our wedding when we had to completely redo our entire photography plan because of rain, Anna provided so many wonderful recommendations and we were able to pivot quickly and seamlessly (and truthfully our plan B ended up being even better than plan A). On our wedding day, I did not have to worry about a thing because I knew Anna and Jordan had everything taken care of. As a type A bride, passing the reigns off to someone confidently on the day of was very important to me, and Anna and Jordan did not disappoint.
I would recommend them to anyone and have already recommended them to friends getting married in the DMV. If you want a seamless wedding planning experience, do yourself a favor and hire Anna and Jordan, it will be the best vendor decision you can make for your big day.

Could not recommend Anna, Jordan, and Team Otherside more!!! A&J, as we would lovingly call them as my husband and I are also an A&J, were an absolute delight across all phases of our wedding planning process and we felt so lucky to have them on our team. We felt such security knowing that TOC had everything handled for our wedding day – they really are true professionals – and that was worth its weight in gold.
The biggest piece of advice I was given upon getting engaged was to hire, at the very least, a day-of coordinator. My now-husband and I also felt some anxiety about honing in on and achieving a vision for the design of our wedding. Neither of us has a very creative eye, and I felt so overwhelmed every time I looked at Pinterest or the wedding Instagrams that we felt we could really benefit from some additional support. TOC worked with us to customize a package for coordination services and design help/consulting, which was exactly the balance we were looking for – having A&J’s guidance, valuable insight, and support while still feeling like we were in the driver’s seat for our day. I have to be honest that when I first found their site, I worried that we weren’t “cool enough” for TOC (lol!) but we felt incredibly welcomed and encouraged by both Anna and Jordan across our entire experience with them.
Over the months we spent in the planning phase, A&J provided super helpful suggestions as to vendors that they worked with frequently. We felt confident just going with their choices for many of the smaller vendors, which saved us a ton of time (in not needing to search for and interview a ton of different options) and also money, as these vendors often offered a discount since we connected through TOC. As our wedding approached, A&J helped us work through many iterations of a design board for our day. They were incredibly patient, understanding as we sometimes went back and forth on design decisions, and provided lots of invaluable inspiration. I can sometimes be paralyzed by choice, and I felt that A&J helped give me the confidence that I needed to hone in on a vision for our event (which wasn’t even that complicated, but I had just felt so much pressure for it to be right and not ugly lol!) and make the decisions to achieve that.
We really felt the strength of TOC in the final weeks of our planning process. We had our final walkthrough meeting at our venue with the venue manager, our catering manager, and A&J, and watching the four of them work was like watching a symphony. A&J have clearly worked with our venue & catering managers many times before (as they have with so many vendors in the area), and that experience really showed as they ran through all the countless details of our upcoming day with ease. My now-husband and I really felt like every single detail was attended to, and it was really incredible to experience that level of preparation and care. Jordan and others on the TOC team were with us on our wedding day (and ran the rehearsal the night before – useful!) and that same care and compassion was evident. Our wedding day went so smoothly and it was such a joy to get to enjoy it fully without any stress!! The ultimate gift – we couldn’t be more grateful to Team Otherside! -

Best decision when beginning to plan our wedding was choosing Anna & Jordan with The Otherside Creatives
Anna and Jordan from the beginning were absolutely stellar. My wedding was 10/14/23. I had an idea of what I was wanting wedding design wise but didn’t know where to start. Anna helped guide me to make decisions or gave her input when it was asked for. Other than that, she was calming, comforting and made the planning process sooooo much easier. Looking back, I absolutely cannot imagine what my day would have looked like without The Otherside Creatives. The day of team made sure everything was as organized as possible and helped take care of little things and huge things that I definitely didn’t have time for or they felt I shouldn’t have to deal with on the day of. Our wedding day already had so many moving parts and we had various vendors not responding to us. Anna didn’t let me stress. We dealt with the rain, dealt with unresponsive vendors and she made magic happen. I am so grateful for The Otherside Creatives and they truly made my wedding day dreams come true. -

Words can’t possibly describe the complete adoration my husband and I feel for Anna and Jordan. I found them on Instagram in the months leading up to my engagement and I emailed them within 24 hours of getting engaged because I just knew that they were the right people to help us orchestrate an event to tell our love story. From the very first phone call, they were authentically themselves and they were honest. I cannot tell you how much their honesty meant and grounded us throughout the entire wedding process. When there was a big decision to make, they leveraged all of their connections to help us choose the right vendor to accomplish the goal. When the little decisions came up, they constantly reminded us to trust our gut and asked what made the most sense to align with our vision for the day. With their help and guidance, we truly created the most incredible day to celebrate our love. Anna and Jordan made sure everything went off without a hitch, going above and beyond to hang an entire photo gallery display as our “seating chart,” to ensure all of the details were taken care of (e.g. I had special candles I wanted placed on the head table and they were there), to bustle my dress, and to just genuinely celebrate US. The level of peace that they provided me during one of the most exciting yet stressful periods of my life far surpasses any amount of money that we paid them. Anna and Jordan are GOOD PEOPLE who want the absolute best for you and will do everything in their power to make your wedding day reflect you as a couple. Pick them!!!! -

We planned our Baltimore wedding from Atlanta, so we figured out fairly quickly we were going to need help. Working with The Otherside Creatives was the BEST decision we made. We had already booked a few vendors before we started working with them but Anna and Jordan were able to provide recommendations for everything else we needed. Their florist recs were AMAZING. Throughout the planning process they had answers for every question we had and were so helpful. They helped us go over contracts that we signed before we started working with them and helped us get clarification from those vendors. They went to bat for us multiple times to make sure we were getting what we signed up for. Anna and Jordan were both so calm and that helped us feel more at ease with all the decisions we were making. They are completely honest about what you do not need, which is super refreshing. They coordinated with all our vendors with timelines, questions, and really anything and everything in between. They made sure that the day was planned to be exactly what WE wanted. Day-of, The Otherside team was completely amazing. If anything went wrong, we had no idea. We didn't have to think about anything - we had a schedule that everyone was working to. It made our day completely stress-free. I never had anyone reach out to me with any questions or issues. Anna kept the whole event running smoothly and on schedule, making adjustments as needed but again, so calm! We were able to completely enjoy the entire day because of their hard work, planning, and coordination. I can't imagine not having them on board for our big day. You NEED Anna and Jordan in your corner on your wedding planning journey.

We can't imagine how our wedding would have happened (or how incredible the night was) if it wasn't for Anna, Jordan, and their team. Throughout the entire planning process, they provided knowledgeable suggestions to make our ideas become a reality, demonstrated their expertise on best practices, and were generally just a blast to chat with. Both my wife and I had no idea when a small timing hiccup occurred during the wedding, because TOS team was quietly on it. When my wife and I forgot something in our hotel room, someone from the team ran to get it during cocktail hour. Two months out from our wedding, we miss getting to chat with Anna and Jordan. You NEED Anna+Jordan
Right after we met Anna at a venue tour, we loved her so much, I immediately went home and looked up The Otherside Creatives. We hit it off immediately and right away we knew they were the ones to help with our wedding. I can’t even imagine not having Anna+Jordan throughout the planning process. “Thank God for Anna+Jordan” became a common phrase as we navigated through wedding planning. Whether by email, text, or phone call they were always super easy to get in touch with if you have a question, idea, or just chat. They know allllll the ins and outs of weddings and can help with anything, give advice, and they know every vendor out there!
On the day of the wedding, Jordan and her team took care of everything, and it came out better than I could have imagined. Their attention to detail and creativity were incredibly admirable. They thought of everything! From the handmade disco ball headband to telling the band that I was done dancing our first dance, she made sure everything perfect. Some of my favorite moments I never would have thought of but her and her team added to make the day extra special.
I cannot imagine a better team to make our day absolutely perfect. I’m so beyond grateful for them and everything they did for our wedding.

I’ve known Anna previously and I knew the second I got engaged I was going to need her brains and power to pull off our amazing wedding. From the second we picked our date and venue Anna was on it with different ideas, color palettes, what would look great in the venue space. She helped us a lot out with picking rentals and deciding on linens. I fully trusted her and I’m pretty sure all our pictures speak for themselves!! My husband and I were incredibly appreciative of their prompt replies, recommendations of and connections with other vendors, and their sense of humor throughout. We were even more impressed (and eternally grateful) of their guidance, connections, patience, and work ethic when our venue fell through within 60 days of our wedding. A & J jumped into high gear, checking in with us often, making calls all over town to find us a new spot. Our venue turned out to be even better than imagined and A & J made sure our whole vendor team could make the change with us. None of our wedding chaos would have been managed with the care, grace, patience, and expertise it was without A & J leading the vendor team. We are forever grateful.
Besides the venue debacle, Team Otherside had great vendor recommendations, kept us on track, and supported our priorities. We never felt rushed or out of the loop. AND THEY ARE FUN.

Anna & Jordan exceeded all of our expectations when it came to planning our wedding!! We met them a year out from our wedding and immediately knew we needed them to plan our wedding. We had a 300 person wedding that required extensive planning and design but they made it feel easy. Anna & Jordan are communicative, talented, organized and have the most unique design skills! Leading up to the wedding, they were working on our wedding all hours of the day/night and on the night before the wedding told me, “if it’s 2am and you have a thought, text us.” They were so dedicated to making our wedding everything we dreamed of. They even had additional team members on the day of our wedding to ensure a seamless timeline. You must chose Anna & Jordan as your planners!!!! -

It was an absolute joy working with Anna & Jordan to plan my wedding! I was planning from out of state, but still had very specific ideas and features that I wanted to include in our party and they made it all happen! The partial planning package was a great balance between taking care of some select details myself and then having them put it all in motion, especially the month leading up to the wedding. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, I couldn't have asked for it to go more smoothly or stress free. Their team made sure that I was taken care of all day and and I (or anyone in the wedding party) didn't have to lift a finger. They helped us find the perfect group of vendors for what we wanted and helped steer us to make the right decisions based on value. I could probably fill a book with what Anna and Jordan did to make our wedding the perfect fever dream that it was. Their connections, their vision, their work ethic, their MILITANT attention to detail. As a type-A person with a big support system, I was one of those gals who questioned whether or not I really NEEDED a wedding planner. If that sounds like you - you do not need a wedding planner, you need Anna and Jordan. The vendors they brought to our team and the lack of stress alone justified the cost ten times over; I firmly believe I would have paid more money to get less of what I wanted without them. That being said, in an industry where it feels like everyone is asking you to cough up more money, A+J have something so special - heart. We were initially supposed to get married on December 31, 2021. On December 26, I called Anna - a wreck - because a person the wedding couldn't go on without had just tested positive for COVID. We were going to have to postpone our wedding that was less than a week away. And they just... did it. No angst, no hesitation. Anna rallied her troops and turned the freaking Titanic, executing the most seamless reschedule in less than 24 hours. ON TOP OF THAT - she and Jordan still helped us get married that Friday, coordinating florals and photography so we could still have a beautiful, documented micro-celebration on the day we intended, in addition to the big wedding rescheduled for April. It is no exaggeration to say I literally couldn't have done any of that without them. Through every high and low, they were there. It was more like having two besties plan your wedding; that's how much they care. If that's the kind of experience you want during one of the most stressful, emotional, expensive, joyful, important periods of your life (which, I promise, YOU DO) they should be your first hire. You will not believe how seamlessly all else falls into place after that. -

This review is so long overdue, but we are still so appreciative of all the work The Otherside Creatives did to make our wedding such a beautiful, fun and memorable day. We hired Anna and Jordan for month-of coordination, but they went so far above and beyond our expectations, allowing us to focus on having a great party with our favorite people.
Shortly after we booked Anna and Jordan, we made the decision to postpone our wedding a year due to covid. They jumped right into gear, handling all the vendor communications and finding a new date that worked for everyone we’d already booked, which relieved so much stress during what was an otherwise chaotic time. Closer to our wedding, they worked with us to draw up a floor plan to maximize the event space and to create a timeline with tons of flexibility built in. We had such a relaxing morning and afternoon thanks to all the work Anna and Jordan did over at our venue and with wrangling our team of vendors. I loved the way they creatively decorated our cocktail hour and reception area, elevating what was already a cool space into a beautiful and romantic space.
Next time we have a big party, our first call is going to be Anna and Jordan. In the meantime, we’re recommending them to every engaged couple we know. -

I knew that I would not be able to fully relax and enjoy my wedding unless I had the utmost confidence in my planning team to deal with everything that comes from putting on the best party that has ever happened. I cannot overstate how much having Anna on our team made this process better, she has an encyclopedic knowledge of vendors to match any style you are looking for. Anna was one of the first people we hired when we started the wedding planning process and she was a wealth of knowledge and helped us find so many of our vendors. This was so incredibly helpful in navigating the process and putting together a killer and cohesive team the day of our wedding. She was so incredibly quick, kind and responsive to every single email. We planned everything out ahead of the wedding and the day of, neither myself or my fiance had to think about anything. She was proactive instead of reactive, made decisions based on what she knew we would want (because we had planning meetings and multiple conversations prior to the day of!) and by the time we went out to get married, everything was set up flawlessly.
She was never panicked, never running around, just a complete and utter professional. You can not go wrong hiring her. She will handle your day and you will not have to think about a single thing and it will be the best thing you spend your money on. -

The Best EVER!
I don’t know how I would’ve survived the wedding planning process without Anna, Jordan and The Otherside team! My husband and I met Anna while touring our venue and knew we had to hire her asap! We just moved to Baltimore and I didn’t know where to start and really needed help planning. Anna jumped right in with vendor recommendations based on our style, needs and budget. She also had an answer to every single question I threw at her and literally knows everyone in the industry! Between all the calls and in person meetings it was like hanging out with an old friend. She made the planning process enjoyable and after each call/meeting I always felt we accomplished something.
A few months prior to our wedding we made a detailed timeline and from there Anna, Jordan and their amazing team handled all the coordination with vendors. I didn’t have to do anything but show up the day of our wedding! The entire day was so fun and stress free. If there were any hiccups, I was never made aware because they handled it all. Everything went smoothly and the space look absolutely stunning. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for their amazing work. The Otherside Creatives are more than just your average wedding planners. Anna, Jordan and their team are some of the best, most genuine and unique people we have met in our lives and we are SO lucky they took us on as clients. They worked three different weddings within our friend group and it's safe to say we all benefited tremendously from this team. Our wedding day was bittersweet because we would no longer be working closely with them every day! From start to finish, Anna and Jordan knew exactly what we needed both as a couple and individually as bride and groom. They understood our vision, our concerns, our stress and took it all on and made it look easy. They were truly along the ride for the good and the....not so good....that wedding planning threw at us! They were mindful to meet with us in person many times, responsive when we needed guidance or feedback and they asked questions we would never think of. From weird family dynamics to signature cocktails and signage, Anna and Jordan had an answer for everything. As a team, they have a beautifully creative eye to bring visions to life in a way that feels incredibly personal — which means a TON to someone who is not so creative. The. Best. Team. Ever.
When we started the process of planning our wedding, we quickly realized that we were in over our heads. We began searching a wedding planner and that is when we found The Otherside Creatives. And we could not be happier that we found them! Of all the decisions that we had to make over the course of planning a wedding, hiring Anna, Jordan and the rest of the team from The Otherside Creatives was the best decision we could have made!
Anna helped us find key vendors, provided excellent recommendations, communicated/coordinated with the vendors throughout the process, reviewed contracts before we signed anything and even helped to complete many of the vendor information sheets that we had to completed during the crunch-time before our wedding day.
They have a ton of expertise in planning weddings, and they also provided recommendations and advice to help us figure out all the details like the floor plan, signage, table settings, etc. They even provided us with rentals that helped to bring our wedding vision and theme to life. If you are planning a wedding, you quickly realize that there are no small details and without The Otherside Creative's help in planning and executing all those details we would have been lost!
The communication with Anna and her team throughout the entire process was great and we always felt like a priority when we needed help. They are so easy to work with and were always so positive, which meant more that we can even describe. Every time we felt stressed or overwhelmed, we instantly felt better and like we were in a good place after talking with Anna.
The Otherside Creatives is very detailed and organized and we felt reassured throughout the process knowing that we had a good plan as well as back-up plans for critical details. In addition to everything that they did to help us in planning the wedding, their help in coordinating on the day-of was also invaluable. Anna totally took charge during our rehearsal before the wedding and everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to do on our wedding day. We even had several members of our wedding party comment that of all the weddings they have been in, that they have never been so impressed by how smoothly the rehearsal went.
And they made our day-of run so smoothly that we CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH. Anna and her team handled all the details on the day of, did all of the set-up and break-down and kept us on schedule throughout the entire day. They did such a great job of executing the vision and plan that we had, and we were blown away by how beautiful the ceremony and reception looked. This allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding day and be present with our family and friends because we were not worrying about all of those details knowing that The Otherside Creatives was on-top of everything. We had so much fun at our wedding and we received so many compliments from guests and we know that we absolutely owe so much of that to The Otherside Creatives!

Where do I start? Anna, Jordan and the rest of their team are beyond amazing. When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we originally hired a different planner/coordinator. 4.5 months before our wedding, the original person ghosted us, and the Otherside Creatives were incredible in that they not only agreed to take us on as a client on such a short timeline, but they also came up with a wedding design that was beyond anything I could have imagined. Anna and Jordan spent so much time working with us to finalize our vendor team, order all our materials, and really make any dream or wish we had for the day come to life. They were incredibly responsive, beyond organized (ya girl loves a spreadsheet) and just so fun to work with. I wished I had an excuse to work with them again because it was just so amazing. -

We can't say enough about The Otherside Creatives! Do yourself a favor and hire them NOW! We hired Anna for our wedding in March of 2020 and she saved our lives from the start! When we had to last minute reschedule our wedding to due COVID, she handled getting all of the vendor's availability together and providing us with alternative dates that would work in the future. Such a big help, and a relief! We ended up pushing back our wedding a year and a half later to August 2021. In such a crazy unknown time, she really made us feel at ease whenever we had concerns. Anna was so nice and professional. We had a small civil ceremony (outside of our regular wedding), and Anna showed up that morning with a beautiful bouquet - such a nice gesture! That just goes to show that she really cares about making the couples she works with happy.
Anna was with us every step of the way and was there to answer any questions we had. She was super responsive and would make time for us no matter the situation. Anna provided us recommendations on vendors and provided helpful insight on important wedding decisions, but she always made a point to ask us what we as a couple really wanted, "What is important to you?" This really resonated with us because we still felt that we were able to control our wedding and make it the way we wanted. Anna's support and encouragement along the way made the wedding planning process that much better :)
Anna worked perfectly with all of the vendors and our wedding went off without a hitch! Everyone says to expect at least one thing to go wrong on your wedding day...well we can say that absolutely nothing went wrong and we can attribute that to having such an amazing coordinator!! We would 1000% recommend Anna and The Otherside Creatives to anyone looking to have an amazing wedding!

Adding The Otherside Creatives to our wedding team was by far the best decision we made during wedding planning. Anna, Jordan, and their associate Christine made our wedding dreams come true. From the beginning Anna was there to recommend vendors, bounce ideas off of, and honestly just to listen when wedding planning became difficult during the pandemic. Anna joined us for our engagement photos in Brooklyn, taking the train there and back from Baltimore in one day! She cheered us on and helped amp us up for what turned out to be a great day of engagement photos despite rain. In this moment and so many others Anna went above and beyond what her team was contracted to do - all because she really cares about her couples. The Otherside Creatives were with us every step of the way as we postponed our wedding and they worked directly with all of our other vendors to coordinate a new wedding date for which we were able to keep ALL of our original vendors. They worked their magic when we feared that our wedding dreams would never come true. The team was always in contact and was super responsive whenever we needed anything and even kept us informed about current event and mask restrictions in the lead up to our wedding and talked us off the ledge many times throughout pandemic wedding planning. They worked with our full vendor team to create our ideal wedding aesthetic which we I can’t stop thinking about (we also used their wedding rental company The Otherside Rentals which was bomb). They communicated effectively and took everything off of our plates to make our day as stress-free as possible. They supported us like we were their best friends and our wedding went off without a hitch - or at least none that we were made aware of which is exactly what we needed. We left our wedding so grateful to have had them on our team and determined to never let them go as friends. We cannot recommend these ladies enough - they were the backbone of our vendor team and made us feel like we were the only people who mattered in the world. Anna and Jordan were so great to work with. Anna was very responsive from the start, and communicated with us every step of the planning process including rescheduling our 2020 wedding to July of 2021. I'm sure it was a stressful time for everyone in the industry and she was so kind, professional and helpful. We got married at Harwood Farm in Woodbine, which required many outside vendors. We hired TOC for Month of Coordination and we are so glad we did! The delivery and coordination went smoothly of all of our vendors and I know they were a huge help in making sure that all went smoothly. When I say huge help, I mean it's because of them that it went so smoothly.
Having planned our wedding longer than we anticipated, including a lot of DIY with a large inventory of hoarded wedding things, and being someone who makes a lot of lists in general – Anna picked up right where I left off the month of and was so helpful. My notes (and OCD) didn't seem to overwhelm or phase these two and they were rockstars the entire month leading up to our wedding and 100% on the day of. They were both super organized in connecting and working with our vendors – I believe we had 10+. They brought it all together and I had no idea if things behind the scenes were bumpy if at all. The day was perfect.
We lived in North Carolina for most of our time working with Anna and Jordan, and I'll say my only negative is on us – I wish we had been local during the planning process because I can tell these ladies are so fun and we would've had a great time meeting for drinks during our planning. They made the process incredibly easy from states away, though.
I have so much I could say, but I'll end with.. I've heard this wedding season/year was very busy/stacked for a lot of vendors and I had no idea HOW busy Anna and Jordan were until after our wedding and I learned of their couples' list. They were on top of EVERYTHING and I wouldn't have thought otherwise the whole time.

I cannot say enough about Anna and Jordan. From the minute we first sat down with Anna in 2019 (!) to talk about the possibility of her coming on as a day of planner for our May 2020 wedding, we felt immediately at ease. It felt like talking to a friend we had known for years, even though it had only been 20 minutes. From that point on, Anna was so on top of everything, even picking me up and driving me to Something Vintage to look at decor options. Anna and Jordan really care about the details that make your wedding day special to who you are as a couple, but also just about you as people.
As Covid happened, and we had to move our date not once, but twice, Anna and Jordan were there checking in on us, following up with vendors, and doing whatever they could to make the process as easy on us as possible. Meanwhile, they were only supposed to be working with us month of and ended up working with us for two years. They consistently went above and beyond in every single way and we cannot thank them enough. No idea was too big or too crazy, and they filled all meetings and conversations with positivity in a not so positive time. There was not one second of the wedding day where I was worried about anything because I knew Anna and Jordan were there. If you are looking for a wedding planner, The Otherside Creatives is the way to go and if you aren’t planning to have a wedding planner, think again, because it was the best decision we made. Working with Anna was a dream! Every question, every detail, every obstacle, she was always two steps ahead. I can’t express enough how amazing it was to have her and her entire team helping us navigate not only planning a wedding, but planning a wedding during a global pandemic. The feedback I consistently got from friends and family was how stressful planning a wedding is and how you barely get to enjoy the day, but my experience was completely the opposite. Anna never gave us the opportunity to stress because she was so proactive and well organized. The Otherside Creatives is a very versatile business. I went through multiple wedding plans due to covid from planning a backyard tent wedding, to a venue, to a small house wedding, to multiple different venues again. Toc are the best!
We were on the fence about hiring a wedding planner originally, but after meeting with Anna we were 100% sold! We were looking to have a non-traditional wedding and Anna was so on-board with our vision from day 1! We hired TOC for month-of coordination because we didn't want to worry about anything on the actual day of the wedding, but Anna made herself available if we had questions, or wanted to share progress with her along the way. Once COVID hit, we were so so happy to have TOC on our team as plans changed. Two days before the wedding, we realized the temperature was dropping 20 degrees with a 70% chance of rain. With ceremony and reception moved outside due to COVID, we were stressing. Anna took all of that stress off of us and worked with the venue to make sure our guests would be dry and warm. She even went as far as to pick up a jean jacket for me and have it customized with our wedding hashtag... within 24 hours of our wedding!! Also, I was not a bride with a Pinterest board, and barely provided any guidance on decor, yet Anna & Jordan transformed the Woodberry Kitchen patio into the candlelit oasis of our dreams. If you are thinking of working with TOC, DO IT. You will not regret it!

Hiring The Otherside Creatives is hands down the best wedding planning decision I made. I cannot say enough great things about Anna and Jordan. Anna was my main contact throughout the process, but Jordan is equally amazing! They were with me through every single step of the process. I am an extremely indecisive person, but Anna walked me through every option and possible outcome to help me make the best decision for us. She was my sounding board and was whatever I needed in the moment. Difficult/unresponsive vendor? No worries, Anna is on it! Upset because the alteration place completely dropped the ball on your dress alterations the day before your wedding? Anna is there as a calming presence and helping you talk through options. When COVID hit, everything was so uncertain. They were patient with us as we kept changing our minds regarding whether to postpone, cancel, or have a micro wedding at a different location. They also helped coordinate with our vendors during this time. I originally did not think I needed anything except day-of coordination. I was SO wrong! I can't say enough good things about The Otherside. In the beginning of our vendor process, I was very close to moving forward with a friends planner, and I ended up meeting Anna at a wedding. She was incredibly down to earth and a moment I loved (which she probably doesn't even remember) was her saying that she always liked to break down a wedding when it was actually over. She said that if she was a bride, and during her reception she saw people taking centerpieces off of tables and cleaning up, she would be sad, so she would never do it for a bride of her own. #GEM
Otherside relieved an enormous amount of stress leading up and the day of our wedding (and even the days after (ask Anna lol)). Prior to executing a flawless day for my husband and I, Anna and Jordan had been an emotional support during Covid, which really helped us during our wedding lead-up. We had to postpone once and they were all over every detail and helped us come to the (correct) conclusion. One of the biggest factors that helped us sleep at night were all of the regulations around Covid changing depending on the area. Anna and Jordan owned knowing those regulations so we didn't have to. The lead-up to the wedding, as most are, seems overwhelming, however Anna and Jordan made is truly seamless. When I say I had a LOTTT of details included in our wedding, I mean A LOT (ask them lol)!!!! I made a long long long spreadsheet with all too many details that I honestly lost track of, but they completely owned and delivered. I most certainly put Anna and Jordan to the test and I am over the moon with their insane help! We picked a venue where we had to bring all vendors onsite, so as you can imagine there were 10x more details with that many more people/vendors/decisions. Every bride has a vision, and the small details matter to them and their family. Somehow, Anna could remember the absolute smallest amount of detail I shared weeks prior to the wedding and was able to implement behind the scenes. A few examples... she and Jordan were at our venue the days leading up while all types of vendors (tent, caterer, brunch cateter, bathrooms, etc.) were in and out. The dancefloor wasn't setup properly and the best part was, she already had a solution to fix it. Sometimes planners try to sugarcoat problems, but the greatest thing was that Anna didn't hide anything but had a very calming approach. She either had a solution or had multiple solutions to walk-through. We walked into our venue for the first time after setup and she met us out front. While we were walking through and she hit us with some of the hiccups that popped up. As a detailed person, sometimes you think you want to answer everything, but when it comes to a wedding, I was certainly at a point where I wanted decisions made for me. I told Anna and Jordan I trusted what their gut and I am so grateful they were able to make the best and right decisions on our behalf. They were my voice when I couldn't be.... for example, the flowers I ordered (on my own) weren't what I expected. Anna could tell I was thrown off when I saw them for the first time. She knew in particular that I had a bouquet in memory of a very close friend and that bouquet was supposed to be used in the majority of my photos. She took control of the situation and was my voice to have things fixed so I didn't have to stress. Again, talking about details, I ended up doing my own centerpieces, and The Otherside helped the day before and the day of to make sure they were perfect (which they were)!! I also had a very quick outfit change for a "surprise dance" we did. I only had 2.5 minutes to run inside, change, and come back out. Anna even remembered how many buttons I told her needed to be undone from weeks before.. she truly listens and delivers!!! The large and small details she had covered, whether they were very important to me and my family or not. While we went to the chapel with a small group to get married, a bridesmaid at the house said Anna had been looking for decorations my mom really wanted (and spent a lot of time prepping) for the outdoor ceremony last that day. We didn't have them in the right place for Anna to find which made her life a bit difficult, since she knew how important it was for my mom. She hunted for a looong time to find the decorations, knowing it would make my mom happy too, and had them out exactly as planned. Another planner-angel moment that I didn't even realize happened was that the cards for eating kept blowing in the wind and wouldn't stay on the table. She and our venue contact came up with an idea hours before the reception on how to fit with string and clothespins (it actually was adorable haha).
The wedding space is all about customer service - your name goes a long way... again, I cannot say enough good things about this tag-team!! I trusted their every instinct and absolutely adored their company along the way. They were my voice when I needed it most and listened to every single detail along the way. I am more than happy with all of their work and would be happy to chat with anyone who is trying to make a decision!!! -

Married- July 31, 2020! We did the impossible - we got married during a global pandemic (COVID-19). I very much hope this review reaches bride and grooms-to-be far passed the scary year of 2020. I wanted to share my experience so people can understand the importance of hiring a wedding coordinator, and not just any coordinator, you need to hire Anna and Jordan at The Otherside Creatives.
Here’s why:
I was introduced to The Otherside Creatives amazing work in November 2018 while attending my cousin’s gorgeous outdoor fall wedding. I had never been to such a unique wedding that was designed so perfectly to the couple’s style and personalities. Every single detail exhumed a vibe that we were in Ashley and Joey’s love story, not just a wedding. It felt as beautiful as it looked, it was just so special. I remember thinking “If I ever get married, that’s exactly what I want my wedding to feel like.”
The following April of 2019, I was engaged with the plan of being married spring 2020. I reached out to my new cousin in-law and asked for her every detail and her response was simply “Anna and Jordan. That’s what made my wedding. I couldn’t have done it without them.” From the beginning, Anna steered us to the venue and vendors that worked best with our style and price range. Anna sent us to our industrial dream wedding venue, introduced me to an amazing florist, caterer, and equipment rental vendors. Anna assembled an amazing team and together we designed a beautiful industrial style wedding with 185-200 guests for May 29, 2020. All contracts were locked in and signed. Everything was smooth sailing through our six month countdown, then the four month countdown… Then….. COVID.
I really didn’t want to go into COVID and all the restrictions and phases, but I want others to understand the magnitude of not just a wedding coordinator’s contribution, but how Anna and Jordan went above and beyond to make this day perfect. So, bear with me and the COVID talk.
By March, we needed to make the tough decision to postpone our wedding. But not only were we on Covid’s timeline, my fiancé is also in an intense academic program. His Fall semester was to start in August 2020, where he would have zero availability to commit to even his own wedding. Enter our hero, Anna! By the end of the day, she had coordinated with our venue and every one of our vendors and presented us with three dates that worked with everyone. Just like the rest of the world, we didn’t know how serious and for how long this virus was going to impact us, so we chose July 31st. Anna connected us with a lovely calligrapher that gifted us postponement announcements and our guests were updated within a week! We were excited about the new date. WE WILL HAVE OUR WEDDING….
Again, enter COVID. What should have been “The best time of our lives”, was looking like the world’s worst time. Anna kept in constant contact checking on me and updating me with all the news. I felt so guilty caring about my wedding during a global pandemic, but Anna completely understood. It was time to make another tough decision- postpone, cancel, or adjust. Anna asked me “What do you want? What works for you and I will make it happen?” My answer was simple- I just wanted to be married. Anna promised me just that and with positive encouragement that my day would be perfect! It was hard to believe at the time… but she was so right! I’ll get to it, I promise!
We knew we would not be able to follow through with our original wedding plan. We needed to start from scratch and let go of all original work. We notified our guests that we were canceling our wedding with the hope of an intimate ceremony aka micro-wedding, with our parents and siblings. My first thought was my Mom’s backyard. I sent Anna a picture of the property and she immediately replied and said “I can see it! Let’s do it!” By the end of the day, once again, Anna had all vendors on board, excited for the new venue and pitching me new ideas with adjusted contracts with our existing vendors and was put in touch with new vendors needed for the new venue.
The months leading up we moved with the phases. In less than two months, we went from an industrial Baltimore City wedding of up to 200 guests, to a backyard micro wedding of 25 guests and virtual ceremony. When the next layer of restrictions changed, so did our wedding. Every single time a restriction changed, so did we. Which meant so did updates with our caterer, florist, equipment rentals, etc. Every. Single. Time. Together we planned four weddings in less than two months ending with 75 guests at the two week out mark. We had another big set-back when our photographer was no longer able to travel (again COVID), at two weeks out. Anna knew who to send us to and by Monday we had a new, amazing photographer.
The days leading up to the wedding, Anna was there every moment. From morning to night, for every delivery and set up. She was at my Mom’s house with coffee, positivism, and excitement. Handling every crisis from “How do we get this truck down the driveway, let’s move the dance floor 4 feet to the left, the stakes in the ground for the tent, the zig zag of the twinkle lights”, and so much more. Her relationships with all the vendors were the perfect amount of professional and personal. They listened to her every word with upmost respect, but were also able to have fun, laugh, and joke! We had a great time those few days and I honestly miss it!
Wedding day came and of course, Anna and Jordan were there bright and early to manage every single detail. You will never fully understand the saying “it flies by” until it’s your wedding day. I am so glad I was able to spend time with my girls instead of running around in the heat AND RAIN setting things up, or even just being bothered with questions every five minutes. If I walked outside for anything, Anna or Jordan would say “We got this!” The weather wasn’t the most ideal wedding weather. Anna and Jordan worked on their feet through the hot, humid, rainy, and muddy day for over 16 hours, handling every detail, making sure we were in the right place at the right time. Not only making sure we (bride and groom) were happy, but also our parents, bridal party, guests and the other vendors. I’ll never forget the moment I was about to walk down the aisle, I looked around in amazement at the most beautiful wedding.
Wedding planning should be fun with the overall finale of being about YOU and what YOU want! That’s the outcome when hiring The Otherside Creatives. From the beginning, they steered us to the right place and people. Through every stressful twist and turn they helped us make this almost impossible wedding, possible and even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I pray that couples never have to face all of these obstacles. But sadly, the year 2020 has taught us that this world is far crazier than you can ever be prepared for. For us, everything that could go wrong did and without the help of Anna and Jordan, we would not have had a wedding. Let alone a wedding we loved SO MUCH!

Everyone warned us that our wedding would go by so fast and be total blur. Because of Anna and Jordan, this was NOT the case for us at all. We were able to be present and savor all the details of our big day because of them.
After putting all planning on hold during quarantine, we decided to move forward with our wedding, but with fewer guests than originally anticipated. I reached out to Anna just over a month before our wedding seeking day of coordination and help with final design decisions. We had no idea at the time how much we would rely on her.
They got to work right away with the most beautiful design concept that truly brought my Pinterest board to life while respecting our budget. As a COVID bride, I was finally able to ENJOY the planning process after months of uncertainty. Within a matter of 20 emails, a handful of texts, and a couple phone calls, we had all the details narrowed down. Anna’s responsiveness was unparalleled.
TWO WEEKS before the wedding we found out that due to Baltimore City’s latest COVID restrictions, we had to cut our guest list down to 25. Within 30 minutes, Anna had proactively reached out to our vendor team to start figuring out our options. We ultimately decided to go ALL IN to have the best 25-person wedding there ever was. I can honestly say, we would not have been able to handle this last-minute change without her. Anna effectively helped us plan 1.5 weddings and saved me from a mental breakdown.
Anna and Jordan really are the dream team—they offer the ideal combination of creative and logistical expertise with a huge network of recommended vendors. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and never once felt like a backup plan. Anna and Jordan went so far above and beyond our expectations. Whether you’re celebrating with 200 guests or an intimate group of 20, we can’t recommend The Otherside Creatives enough.

My husband and I had already found our venue and identified our fabulous photographer through Instagram. When we met with our photographer, she asked about our vision for the wedding. We shared that we wanted a fun, modern, and non-traditional wedding that felt more like a party. She knew just the vendor to recommend to us - the otherside creatives. We met with Anna a few days later and instantly knew that she was the right planner for our wedding. She immediately understood our vision and had a proposal to us a few days later that perfectly captured our style and goals. Before hiring the otherside creatives, we were completely overwhelmed and did not know where to begin when it came to selecting other vendors like florists and catering. Anna helped to curate a list of vendor options for us that she felt were very aligned with our style and budget, and it made the entire process very seamless and easy for us. Anna was fabulous to work with throughout the entire process, was extremely responsive, and helped to make our wedding the most perfect day! On the actual day of the wedding, Anna and Jordan ensured that the venue was perfectly set-up as planned and even joined our photographers to help with day-of photos. The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all went extremely well and we couldn't be happier. The otherside creatives really went above and beyond for us and we are forever grateful to them for creating our dream wedding!! -

Stop what you're doing and hire The Otherside Creatives
I met Anna of The Otherside Creatives while touring a Baltimore venue - while the venue didn’t meet all of our needs, I walked away knowing that I needed Anna’s help with planning our wedding! In her role as a venue manager, Anna has exposure to some of the area’s best (and worst) vendors and how they work. We initially met with Anna and Jordan, discussed our vision, hopes, and fears, and from our very first meeting, I knew they just GOT IT. I had a very vague vision for our wedding, so not only did I need the creative help, but I also needed practical support, as I was planning a wedding two days after Christmas while both working full time and studying for my Master’s part time. I needed to hire someone I could fully trust, and I knew that I could trust Anna and Jordan from our very first meeting!
Anna and Jordan provided us with a vision board after our first meeting that captured everything we had discussed. After hiring for partial planning, they sent me referrals for amazing vendors at varying price points so we could decide how to allocate our budget. Anna and Jordan have excellent relationships with an amazing network of professionals in the event-planning business, and before this experience I underestimated how relationship-based this industry is. You’re not just hiring individual wedding vendors, you’re hiring the members of your interdependent wedding team. I couldn’t have been happier with our referrals. Not only did our wedding run like a well-oiled machine, but we felt like we were among old friends throughout the whole wedding planning process just by virtue of the relationships Anna and Jordan had with our team.
I felt like no concern or task was too big or too small to ask of Anna and Jordan. Anna checked in with me regularly to keep me on track with hiring vendors, reassured me when I was unsure about a decision, and basically held my hand through several appointments - selecting furniture, floral, venue walk-through, photography, tastings, etc. At every opportunity, Anna and Jordan went above and beyond to help me put together a wedding that surpassed my hopes and dreams. Anna gained the trust of the moms (mine and my husband’s) as quickly as she did mine, which was so essential to our planning process. Having Anna and Jordan’s support gave me the knowledge and confidence to make decisions based on what my husband and I wanted, not solely to appease others.
On the day of the wedding, Anna and Jordan joined our awesome vendors, my bridesmaids, and I bright and early in the morning and if there was any problem in our day, I hardly knew it. I could relax, have a good time, and enjoy the company of my family and friends with no restriction. Every element of the timeline was discussed ahead of time, and though we deliberately didn’t overload ourselves with to-do’s during our reception, we didn’t feel at all like we were getting pulled away from our party too often to enjoy it. We had so much fun at our wedding, and many of our guests remarked how they’d never seen a bride and groom have so much fun at their own reception.
I cannot possibly thank Anna and Jordan enough. They were easily and by far my best hire throughout the process - and that’s coming from someone who had an entire team of all-stars! I can’t emphasize enough how energetic, creative, thoughtful, ambitious, and FUN these professionals are! I am lucky to have gotten the chance to work with them, and hope to keep enjoying their company as friends now that our wedding is over.

Anna and Jordan were absolutely amazing to work with! I used them for month-of coordination, but they were always available to answer questions and provide suggestions whenever I needed help, and I booked them almost a year out. They were always on top of their game and because of them, everything was flawless on my wedding day and I got to enjoy every second of it. Oh my goodness. I don't know what my husband and I would have done without Anna and Jordan running the show for our wedding earlier this month. They are AMAZING! They handled our month of coordination and from the venue walkthrough to random advice via text to timeline/vendor coordination to the rehearsal and wedding day they were always on point and one step ahead of us! They really eased our stress and made the rest of the planning a breeze. In the middle of the wedding my husband realized he left something at the hotel and Jordan immediately grabbed our key and hopped in a car to go get it! (THANK YOU! He had one job :P) They made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day except enjoying ourselves. To top it off, Anna and Jordan are both such great and fun people to be around and we feel like we gained 2 more friends! Our wedding day went soo smoothly and everything was absolutely perfect thanks to their hard work! I highly recommend The Otherside Creatives! -

Not sure where to begin with how amazing the ladies from Otherside Creatives is.... Can vendors become friends and more? The answer is Yes!
From the beginning I knew I had hired the right team to make my wedding the best beer/disney themed wedding you could as for!
I dealt with Anna mostly and honestly - wow did she know how to create and design just based off of my vague, basic decor ideas.
You know you picked the right design team, the right wedding coordinator, the right everything when you realize they are treating your wedding like it's their own ceremony and reception!!
They helped handle the other vendors, payments, scheduling, everything from chair placement to making sure everyone at the wedding was having a great time not just the bride and groom!

There are not enough kind words for how tremendous Anna and Jordan, The Otherside Creatives, are at their job. Their passion, dedication, and hard work made Joe and I's day an absolute DREAM. Not only are they inventive and creative, but they put up with me, the ultimate pest and bridezilla and for that, I am forever in their debt. They were there for me EVERY step of the way and then some (like, the time I expressed my skin was breaking out from stress and Anna gifted me Tea Tree Oil- how thoughtful!). They always had solutions, recommendations, and they always encouraged me to be me, which I find is rare in an industry where everyone pushes their wants on others. They're the best and you should HIRE THEM. You will not be disappointed. -

Cynthia Sent on 10/03/2018Anna and Jordan (Otherside Creatives) helped my wife and I plan our perfect Sunday funday brunch themed wedding. They were both there every step of the way and helped with the little details and the big. My wife and I were able to enjoy the day and know that the wedding was in good hands. Otherside made sure things went smoothly, made sure the vendors were all on the same page and managed to corral our bridal party when needed for pictures/introductions/etc, etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a planner that keeps it real, fun and professional. It's also awesome that they know most of the Baltimore area vendors already, so if you have an idea in mind they can help you figure out how to make it a reality. Also of note, on our wedding day we had two incidents - one bridesmaid got a small snag in her dress - Otherside fixed it. The second: we ended up with one less boutonniere than needed - Otherside created another one from our other flowers. Otherside also helped clean mud off my wife's dress pre-ceremony. I don' t think there is anything they cant handle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM !!
