My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Other Barn in April 2023, and we could not have found a more fitting place! What a beautiful venue! The Loft was perfect for what we were looking for, as the location was very close to our church and new home. The price was also the best of all the venues we researched. The staff made things easy for us as far as communicating the rules and expectations of renting, and we really appreciated being able to come in for more than one tour as we were preparing for the big day. TOB worked great for our cocktail hour as well, and our guests enjoyed being able to spend time outside in the courtyard. We also got some great pictures of my husband and I leaving the barn at the end of the night with our guests holding sparklers next to the silo. It was truly a wonderful day! Thank you again for having us! -

Venue was amazing and everything was how it was supposed to be. Quick responses to questions and was able to use my own vendors. Workers are great and very helpful

Our wedding ceremony and reception at The Other Barn was perfect! The venue had the rustic and outdoor style, but did not need us to actually go to a farm. We rented the courtyard for our ceremony, the Smith/Tacky room for our cocktail hour, and the Loft for our reception. The venue coordinator, Brigitta, was wonderful to work with. She always responded to our emails quickly, usually the same or next day and sometimes even within hours. We were originally suppose to have our wedding in May 2020, but had to reschedule due to covid. It was so easy getting our wedding rescheduled for May 2021. Brigitta basically told us to select our new date, and as long as it was not already booked we could have it. We ended up with about 40 guests and there was plenty room for every to social distance. The price of the venue was very budget friendly. The courtyard was absolutely beautiful for our ceremony. The Loft did not need much decorations, a lot of the existing decor was enough to make the place look beautiful. Tables and chairs were all provided by the venue. They even set it up for us based on our floorplan. There was no approved list of caterers, so we were able to use one of our choice. Overall, there was a lot of flexibility for what we wanted to do, which fit our vision perfectly. I would highly recommend The Other Barn for a wedding venue. -

I got engageg in July 2019 and planned my wedding my wedding in 45 days. The staff helped me a ton with deciding on a floor plan.
My family cooked all of the food and it saved me a ton. I purchased decorations online. Everything was beautiful. -

The Other Barn is a great venue
The entire experience was extremely easy with the Other Barn. The cost was reasonable and the venue was beautiful. Hanging lights in the dark loft made for a beautiful ambiance. The outdoor space for the ceremony was intimate and private. All in all I would recommend this venue. For reference we had about 60 guests. -

Great experience
Overall great experience, Bridgetta was great and very helpful. Lady At the front desk could use some customer service training. She had an attitude every time I had to deal with her. Otherwise, it was the perfect venue for our day. Affordable, great location, beautiful. -

Jennifer Sent on 10/05/2017This was the first and only venue that my now husband and I physically went to, to look at and we both loved it. We had a HUGE scare 9 days before our wedding. Brigitta called me to inform me the elevator had broken and was too old to get parts for it, and it had to be replaced. There was a lot on concern that it would not be ready in time for our wedding. However the team at The Other Barn work diligently and pulled it off for us. They kept in close contact with me, updating me on the status almost everyday. I could not be anymore grateful for the extra time and money that they put into getting this elevator ready before our day. The elevator was working great and passed inspection so that all of our handicap quests were able to end and everyone had an amazing time. Lots of compliments from the quests of how much they loved the venue. We had an amazing day. I can not thank them enough -

Mrs. Susan and Mrs. Charlette made sure that My day went off smoothly. I had to make.some changes to My original plan to maintain my budget and they made it s very smooth transition. Mrs. Susan come ups with a way yo save me some money so that is always a Plus. I was a diy bride with a doc and I only wish I could have had more setup time before the event. We.could not get.in before 2 and the event started at 5. I Also wish the air conditioning was cooler because once the Party started it was a little warm. Overall I had a great time, the guests loved it, the decor was.amazing and they process the security depósito redunda really quickly. I had it back with on a week after the event -

Andrea Sent on 06/27/2012I chose The Other Barn as my reception venue for several reasons, among them: location, the uniqueness of the venue, affordability (in an expensive area to have a wedding), a venue that allows everyone to be seated together in one room, and great reviews on Wedding Wire.
It certainly met all my expectations. After visiting the venue, I knew it would work perfectly. It even has an elevator for vendors to use to get things up to The Loft, or for older guests who can't use the stairs. After selecting a venue, though, the real kicker is customer service and the responsiveness of the coordinator working with you. Susan is a pleasure to work with. She's very detail-oriented and responsive, which offers much peace-of-mind when you're planning.
If you're looking for a unique venue for 150 guests (or less) that is also affordable, I would definitely recommend The Other Barn. -

User1136335 Sent on 06/16/2012The other Barn staff is amazing. Susan, Charlotte, and Will. There were other's but those 3 I had the most interaction with. The other barn is a great venue. The price is very affordable, It can accommodate max of 220 but i think that is without the catering/dj/anything else that you will need. I was able to get 20 tables that seated 8 people each and a moon table for the Mr and I. We had our wedding in the courtyard which is amazing in June and July. They have flowers that spring up for all seasons. I was able to fit 175 chairs in the courtyard, still had plenty of aisle space. Music/DJ can set up outside as long as the music isn't rowdy. We had classical. All I can really say is that they did an amazing job with the whole process, communication was fluent and they were very helpful and friendly. -

Christina Sent on 11/24/2009The Other Barn was the perfect site for our fall wedding. We originally chose the site for its flexibility with allowing outside catering and the atmosphere. The Barn provided ample parking and seating for our 100 guests. The entire staff was extremely helpful and accommodating in order to make our visualization of our reception come to life. The Barn's Susan Azoulay was amazingly helpful with planning our day down to the smallest detail. On the day-of, Michael was on site and worked alongside my wedding coordinator to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
It did take some arranging to get all vendors and their equipment up to the second floor reception area. The Barn does have a dumb waiter and a lift, but they are small and it did require several trips to get everything upstairs. There are also many rules restricting certain decorations and red beverages, but compared to other venues I visited, none of the Barn's rules were unreasonable or affected our reception.
We chose to have our ceremony in the adjacent courtyard. The site was beautiful, the only downside being that the courtyard is public space and you may have to deal with onlookers.
Our guests loved the Barn and we received numerous compliments. We are extremely pleased with our venue choice. -

We had our wedding at The Other Barn 09/03/2022 and it was a beautiful day. The outside garden looked beautiful and was very well kept. All of the staff throughout the planning process was kind and attentive and quick to respond to all of our questions. Since they are strictly a venue they did not have any list of recommendations for a caterer, coordinator, decorator etc. I'm glad I had Wedding Wire to help me with that. It would have been nice to have a list of preferred vendors just to see who they prefer to work with, but that's just my opinion.
Our only complaint was that it was very hot in the venue as the night progressed even through the air conditioning was working overtime. The weather was in the upper 80's and we gave our guests fans and they were put to good use! I would not recommend having a wedding of over 100 people for this reason. Our guests had a fantastic time but were uncomfortable in the heat. Also, anything over 120 people and we would have been very limited on space. -

Babeth Sent on 10/27/2011I was so happy to find an affordable venue where I could have my dream wedding outside under the sun! The only hiccup for me was that they didn't setup the ceremony area, which would have helped my family get ready on time! But I loved the place for the price!!! -

Wedding Coordinator is a doll!
The wedding coordinator here is super helpful and friendly. The venue itself was nice and as a bonus we had access to some newly installed strung lights. The AC isn't super powerful so if you dance, you definitely sweat. You can adjust the many light switches to your preference. -
