OCC is the best venue in the Houston area and here's an example of why :)... I got married at the OCC on what may go down as the most discouraged day to have a wedding in 2026, the day the snow and ice storm rolled into Texas in January. It was such a stressful situation because, the week of the wedding, we truly didn’t know if we were even going to be able to have our wedding. The OCC was the biggest blessing to us through it all. Not only did they go above and beyond to make sure our day could still happen, but they were incredibly flexible, accommodating, and genuinely put us first every step of the way. About a third of our RSVP’d guests had to cancel at the last minute because of the weather, and the OCC was so gracious in allowing us to adjust our headcount even after the deadline so we could feel good about moving forward with the wedding. They truly care about their clients, and I am so thankful we chose them as our venue. Even in the middle of an ice storm, the venue looked absolutely impeccable! Huge shoutout to Lily for making our day so special!! You will not regret choosing them as your wedding venue :) -

We got married at The Orchard at Caney Creek (OCC), and from the very first tour, we completely fell in love. There was just something about the atmosphere, it felt so peaceful and special right away. On top of that, all the accommodations the venue offers were truly the cherry on top and made such a difference throughout the planning process.
Haley was and still is the MVP. She was so involved every step of the way, made everyone feel comfortable, and made sure our wedding day ran so, so, so smoothly. Having someone like her there took so much stress off us and allowed us to actually enjoy the day.
Our guests still compliment us on how much they loved the venue and everything about it, which says so much. One thing that really surprised me was all the little things the venue took care of that we didn’t even have to think about, it made the entire experience feel effortless.
Choosing OCC was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

Our wedding on September 27th at The Orchard at Caney Creek was nothing short of perfection, and we owe it all to the venue’s breathtaking beauty, exceptional hospitality, and the incredible staff who made us feel truly special every step of the way. From the moment Haley gave us our initial tour, we were smitten. She walked us through the stunning orchard, highlighting the ceremony site framed by majestic trees that left us (and later, all our guests) in awe. Haley was transparent about pricing and laid out every option clearly, helping us envision our dream day without any pressure. Her warmth and knowledge made us fall in love with the space instantly. We decided to add the coordination services, and that’s when we met Lily (an absolute gem)! Lily was proactive, consistently checking in as the big day approached, and ensured everything ran seamlessly. On the wedding day, she was a calming presence, anticipating our needs and making sure we felt heard and celebrated. Adding coordination was the best decision we made; I’d highly recommend it to any couple booking here. The venue itself is a showstopper. Guests raved about the natural beauty of the trees and ceremony site,calling it one of the most picturesque settings they’d ever seen. The aesthetics are effortlessly elegant, blending southern charm with timeless romance. The entire staff’s helpfulness and hospitality elevated our experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel like the only couple in the world, creating a day that was intimate, joyful, and unforgettable. We couldn’t be happier choosing The Orchard at Caney Creek for our wedding. It was pure magic, and we’d relive it all in a heartbeat. **5/5 stars—highly recommend!** -

We had our wedding at the Orchard at Caney Creek 11/10/24 and it was everything we would have hoped. From the moment we sent an inquiry we were met with nothing but kindness and professionalism. Then we had the tour of the gorgeous venue and knew that The Orchard was the place we wanted to have our special day. Everything was so organized as far as cost breakdowns and then the day of coordination which was SO HELPFUL! All the staff was professional and friendly. I want to give a HUGE thank you to Haley who was also my day of coordinator. Haley is the definition of exceptional service. But one word could not describe how great she is! I could on and on but just know she is the way! Thanks again for making our day great. -

The Orchard at Caney Creek is a beautiful venue with awesome staff! My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. We got tons of compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue is. We got married in April 2024, so the trees were blooming which added to the beauty, but we visited in the wintertime and the venue is also wonderful at that time of year. The food is really good, and the fact that we can bring our own alcohol (we brought beer and wine from HEB) definitely saved us some money on the bar tab. Working with Haley throughout the planning process made things so smooth, and it is part of the reason we really enjoyed wedding planning. The OCC provided a low-stress wedding planning experience which I didn’t originally think was possible, and I am very grateful for that! The location of the venue is great too; it’s very tranquil out in Wharton. We honestly don’t have any complaints, and I’d recommend this venue to anyone. -

The Orchard at Caney Creek is a hidden gym an absolutely spectacular place to have a wedding. The staff and owners are wonderful. So many thoughtful touches and an absolutely beautiful place with multiple areas you can marry and have a reception inside. We got married at The Orchard one week ago, and it was the absolute best and most beautiful venue we could have chosen. To quote many of our guests, “This is the most beautiful venue we have ever been to”. Even for our June wedding, the tree cover kept the property relatively cool, despite the hot day. The food was absolutely amazing, and our day of coordinator (Lily) was an absolute miracle worker on our day. The list of recommended vendors they provided helped us create a perfect team to create our wedding day. I highly recommend booking a day of coordinator, and also reserving the houses for both the wedding night and having the rehearsal dinner on property. We were able to host much of our family that traveled internationally on property, for an affordable price. We loved having our wedding here, and can’t wait to have our professional photos back! Highly, HIGHLY recommend. -

Beautiful Venue and Staff!
Me and my husband are from Corpus Christi, yes Corpus lol. We drove about 3 hrs to see this venue and fell in love with it. The Orchard at Caney Creek is so simple but beautiful at the same time. My husband loves natures and trees, I myself loved the cozy and modern feel of this venue. And we knew this was where we were going to get married at. The staff and service were amazing, and Haley is so kind and patient, we couldn’t have had a smoother wedding without her. Our food was so delicious and cooked perfectly. Bonus points, is that we got to see the pricing up front as well. It was definitely worth the trip and my guests didn’t mind at all, we still get compliments till this day, going 3 yrs soon next year! -

The Orchard at Caney Creek was our second stop on our venue tour list. When we arrived, we were instantly greeted by two lovely ladies, Hannah and Haley. Then we were showed around the property and given history on the venue or any fun little tidbit fact of information that we could absorb. After we walked around, probably three times because we were so in love with it, we sat down and went over the logistics of the contract and what you would get if you booked your wedding day at the orchard. We were immediately driven by our mind and heart to book with the Orchard, Not only is it very, very Budget friendly due to having everything included in the base pricing but it is just overall a stunning venue. My, now, husband I didn’t really have a lot to say during the planning process because I am a wedding planner, and I took the reins, However, the one thing he said as soon as we left that venue is, I don’t care what you want this wedding to look like I don’t care how you wanna do anything, like do what you want I know it will be perfect but would really really love if we were to get married at this venue. This immediately made me so happy because I had the same feeling that we were just destined to have our wedding here. Like I said, I’m a wedding planner so I’m very tedious and observant and so overly organized with things and the Orchard did not seem to disappoint. Every single time I had a question I got a quick email response. I got a text message back. Overall everything was a very smooth process. Haley was So great and kind throughout the entire process of booking answering our questions answering our phone calls, giving her opinion about things, just overall she made the orchard just 1000% times better. The choices of the items for your table scape are perfect, you could choose anything and it will turn out wonderful. I will say the one thing our guest cannot seem to shut up about is how amazing the food was. We had tomato basil soup and the glazed meatballs for appetizers. For buffeted dinner we had the grilled chicken with sherry wine sauce, or sausage/brisket with the house salad and for sides we had mashed potatoes and mac and cheese.
Long story short, we are beyond happy and thrilled that we decided to go with The OCC for our dream day. We would not have wished for anything different. This is an exceptional venue and definitely needs to be top at your list. -

The Orchard at Caney Creek was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was phenomenal, the food was incredible, and the views were stunning. The events team made sure everything ran smoothly, and guests were in awe of the view. Our guests are still raving about everything even a month later!
The team here truly does everything from the heart. They want your day to be as perfect as it can be! They’re so understanding of everything and so flexible! Haley our DOC was an absolute gem! We didn’t have to even think with her. She just knew! She made our day so wonderful! We are absolutely going to miss this team and working with them we enjoyed every second! The Orchard at Caney Creek is definitely the place to have a dream wedding! -

I cannot recommend The Orchard at Caney Creek enough! We had an *actually* perfect day, and it was all thanks to the amazing staff, including our awesome coordinator, Haley, for the work they put towards our wedding day from start to finish. Haley was attentive, knowledgeable, and fun, and guided us through each step of the process. She has found her calling here and we owe our beautiful day to her. I truly am not aware of a single thing going wrong on our wedding day - which I know is rare - but, even if it had, I'm confident that Haley handled it with so much grace that we didn't even know.
The venue itself is gorgeous, with acres of pecan trees, multiple lovely options for a ceremony site, a wrap-around porch looking out over lakes and trees, and a beautifully curated interior perfect for any style.
There are several houses available for lodging on the property, each one thoughtfully made for guests, family, and a wedding party alike. There was amazing lighting and plenty of space throughout the Orchard House for the girls to get ready in, and lots of room and activities in the Lodge for the guys. Every house was beautiful and complimented the venue as a whole. (Side bar - everyone agreed that the beds are really comfortable, haha.)
I could go on and on about this venue, and truly miss the environment we had here on our wedding day already. I highly recommend you reaching out to The Orchard at Caney Creek and seeing for yourself what an amazing event and experience you would have here.

The Orchard at Caney Creek is the absolute best place we could have found to get married. It's perfectly tucked away while still being close to the highway. It has the best Airbnb-style houses to stay at and get ready in. The ceremony sites are picture-perfect. The reception space was just the right size for our wedding. The onsite catering was absolutely delicious. The best part of the OCC is that they cover so many things - they provide the TABC-certified staff and all mixers, they cut your cake, they have wonderful coordinators and staff (shoutout to our coordinator Haley who was a godsend), they allow an after-party, and so much more. Everyone that attended our wedding commented on what a perfect venue it was! I would get married here all over again.The Orchard at Caney Creek's reply:

I wish I had enough words to describe how amazing this venue and their staff are! I booked the Orchard at first sight and it was the only venue I looked at in person- it is absolutely incredible! We did the Wedding Eve package so we were able to have our rehearsal dinner there and have guests stay over night for both rehearsal dinner and night of the wedding- I HIGHLY recommend this (All the guests with children loved this)! The property is beautiful and made for a perfect outdoor ceremony. Every detail of the decor on the property is impeccable- we were blown away at all the small design touches in the houses we stayed in. Hannah and Haley were INCREDIBLE and AMAZING! I am so thankful we had them both as day of coordinators. We initially booked our wedding in January 2020 but due to COVID postponed to November 2021, the staff made this transition SEAMLESS and so easy. THE FOOD- WOW, everyone LOVED it. Also, the mixed china pattern plates for the place settings was the icing on the cake and what sealed the deal for me booking them. I just honestly can't recommend this venue or the staff enough, our wedding was beyond my wildest dreams.The Orchard at Caney Creek's reply:

Gorgeous venue and Amazing staff!
The Orchard at Caney Creek is the perfect venue for an outdoor wedding! The beautiful property allows the bride and groom to choose the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Their food is AMAZING! Grizelda Sent on 11/06/2017From the moment we finished our first tour of The Orchard, we knew this was the place! Susan and Jeff were incredible to work with, honest, and very helpful. The Orchard made planning very easy, emailing and calling us throughout the process. Pictures do not do it justice, the property is beyond beautiful! We were so glad we decided to rent the lodging for 2 nights for family and friends. It made the whole experience that much more special, to spend quality time with close friends and family. They were always so quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had, and also gave tips and recommendations that we used to make things easier and run smoother. The food was out of this world and the only problem you will have is deciding what to have on your menu! Our friends and family cannot get over how good everything was, it's great to hear still. Sheridan was amazing as our Wedding Coordinator, she was on top of everything all day, it took a lot of stress off of our shoulders. We really got to enjoy ourselves and did not have to worry about anything that needed to be done. We just loved every single minute of our wedding, everything was perfect! I can't stop day dreaming about our fairy tale wedding that finally became a reality!

Miranda Sent on 11/16/2016It is difficult to even begin to express what a special place The Orchard at Caney Creek is - the beautiful location (even better than the pictures), the exceptional people from the owners Susan & Jeff Smith who personally hosted the event and treated us like honored guests in their home to their staff/servers who were so professional and helpful (several guests in the hospitality industry remarked on the wonderful service), to the unbelievably delicious and plentiful food and excellent bar service. I haven't even mentioned the wonderful accommodations on-site - if it works with your plans definitely plan on staying on-site. We arrived Friday afternoon and had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on-site and the entire wedding party and immediate families stayed the night in the beautiful, homey accommodations - plenty of towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, etc. The wedding party proceeded to party well into the evening - enjoying the large fire pit and Adirondack chairs out on the patio area, pool table, big screen TV, etc. On Saturday morning, everyone enjoyed a big breakfast that we cooked ourselves on-site (everything you need to cook - serving dishes, platters, dishes, flatware, glasses, full size appliances) and then preparations began. We had several of the groomsmen fishing in the creek, tossing the football around in the orchard, watching the games on the big screen TV (and recovering from the evening before). Susan & Jeff could not have been more accommodating (Jeff even ordered the UFC fight for the after party Saturday night and even joined us to catch a few rounds!) Many of out guests questioned the location (Wharton ??? what the he**) but when they saw it they understood the appeal - dancing on the deck under the stars (and the beautiful café lights gracing the deck), enjoying a s'more around the cozy stone fire pit, strolling down to the softly lit gazebo for a private moment - it was magical. I would say more but space prohibits me.The Orchard at Caney Creek's reply:

They were our first visit and they were super honest and helpful, to the extent of making sure we ask other venues specific questions/ hidden fees. We could not find another venue more helpful than they were to us from the initial visit. Their prices were very reasonable and included many things that other venues did not. Food was spectacular! They were very responsive to emails, calls, and texts. Food selection was great! They answered many questions that we had and made sure we thought about rain-plans (which we ended up having to do, but turned out spectacular). They had housing accommodations for us/ guests if we wanted to stay the night (we did not end up using them, but having the option there was great).
The competitive cost covered the bar--additional perks! Overall, very great venue and couple to work with!The Orchard at Caney Creek's reply:

Amazing in every way!
We were married here in early May 2019. Such a peaceful, breathtaking venue with many unique areas for photos. When we saw this place we knew it was absolutely perfect for us. We really enjoyed using the bridal house & groom's suite to hang out and get ready. Susan was an awesome day of coordinator and spent time answering my dozens of questions prior to the wedding, and they were very accommodating in many areas. The food they catered was also very yummy! Overall 100% recommend- they made our day even more special and we are so grateful.The Orchard at Caney Creek's reply:
