She went above & beyond to make it about us & make sure we got everything we wanted! Super happy & highly recommend

On August 6, Byron asked me to marry him. We decided to have our wedding Sept 22. We immediately began the task of our wedding planning and making arrangements. We had 7 weeks to accomplish our dream from my semi-truck. We ran into difficulty finding a place for our reception. We were given a recommendation for the Olde North Chapel. We called and spoke with Ardene. She gave us great news that our chosen date was available due to a cancellation. We booked the chapel and the reception area. We told Ardene we are both over-the-road truck drivers and what our dream is, including me cooking for our reception (yes, the bride cooked for the wedding guests). Throughout the 7 weeks, Ardene was amazing with assisting and walking us through every step of the way. The chapel was gorgeous and we decorated the reception area simple but elegant, with Ardene helping. She made sure our day was spectacular and memorable, even though Joy Ann Bakery destroyed our dream wedding cake. Ardene kept us calm and would not allow anything to ruin our day. The reception hall is located downstairs from the chapel, which is elegant and spacious, along with being convenient for our out-of-area guests. We were able to offer our adult guests adult beverages during our reception. Our wedding guest were boasting on the beauty of the venue, our reception dinner (taco/burrito bar), and overall wedding.
Looking back, we would not have had such a memorable day anywhere else. We could not have planned for anything better. If anyone is looking to get married in the future, we highly recommend checking into the Olde North Chapel as the place to have your wedding. We also send a special thank you to Ardene, without you we could not have pulled off such a wonderful loving day, THANK YOU!!!!

The stained glass and vaulted ceilings are gorgeous! Being able to have ceremony & reception in The same place for a discount was great, although the banquet hall seats less than the sanctuary so if your need both go off of the number for the reception. There is a dance floor (tiny!) and you can bring in any outside vendors, including alcohol, and they even have decor to choose from that is provided!

Beautiful chapel and reception hall. We were surprised at what we received for such a great value. Ardene goes the extra mile for her brides!!

Olde North Chapel help make my dreams come true <3 It had the type of beauty and atmosphere that my husband and I were looking for. I just knew that this was the place that I was going to be married at, knew it the minute that I walked into the door! I would highly reccomend the Chapel to anyone, the bridal suite was an beautiful room on its own. We had our reception there also, it was just a wonderful evening. I loved all of the options that the chapel offered, your not just limited to one style. We choose the black iron arbor and lights, just stunning.

The Old North Chapel is a very beautiful place to have a wedding. It's not over decorated or under decorated it's just perfect. If you are someone who is on a tight budget this is the place to go because they are very affordable. The owner is such a sweet person and knows her stuff. I've never met anyone who can give you as much as advice as she could. There are some people who want to just charge you so much money and take it from you. Where at the Old North Chapel They expect and want you to be happy with the outcome of your wedding and decororations. They are not in it for the money they are in it to make your wedding beautiful. I got married at the Old North Chapel and it was just so beautiful. I told them how I wanted it just sweet and settled and thats what I got. It even has a reception room and dressing room for both the bride and groom to get ready in. Where I was going to go before I went to that place wanted to charge me extra for a dressing room the dressing room there was included in the price. Everyone thinks that the Old North Chapel from the outside looks very old but when you walk inside you will be amazed. I love the way they have things set up inside and the. Aside from being a historic venue with beautiful windows and original woodwork...Ardene is pleasant and accommodating. She has done lots of work to place and recognizes there is still plenty she wants to do still. Old North is a splendid place for weddings. The reception hall is well lit and very clean and the sanctuary is rich in color and can be decorated beautifully! :)
