I couldn't recommend The Oasis enough! The coordinator, Beth, was seriously AMAZING!!!! With being an out of state bride, I was a bit nervous being so "hands off" for my wedding, but Beth was in constant communication with me and made everything run SO SMOOTH! I probably emailed her over 100 times and she always answered every question I had in a timely manner! She is very experienced so she was able to suggest things to us that just made sense for our wedding day! I was seriously not stressed the entire time leading up to the wedding because I felt so confident in The Oasis and Beth! And don't get me started about the actual day.. she went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel comfortable - asking us if we needed anything throughout the entire morning/afternoon leading up to the ceremony. She even put on my 5 year old sons boutonniere when I was on the struggle bus! We were in the Sunset Room and I LOVED it! The views were amazing and the reception space was the perfect amount of room for our wedding. If you're on the fence about venues, check out The Oasis on Lake Travis!!!

The Oasis was an absolutely dream venue at a surprisingly fair price. Beth and her team went above and beyond every step of the way, and we could not asked for a more gorgeous backdrop for our big day. They take away a lot of the stresses that would come with getting married elsewhere (looking for vendors for tablecloths, bar tenders, catering, etc.) and were incredibly responsive and helpful during the planning process. Everything we could have asked for was all in one place and we will forever hold The Oasis in our hearts.

Our wedding at the Oasis was so perfect despite the weather! It's terribly ironic that we chose the Oasis for the sunset, yet the day of our wedding, the lake was covered in such thick fog that there was ZERO visibility lol. But it was so romantic nonetheless! Beth was extremely helpful throughout planning and she was so flexible! Since we had booked prior to the pandemic, she provided all the information in helping us decide whether to downsize or postpone. We decided to downsize and we were moved from the Starlight Terrace room to the Top of the Oasis, which honestly we loved even more!! Set-up was great and lots of things were provided such as easels, furniture, cake stands, and cake cutting utensils. Beth worked well with all of our vendors and she was actually the one who recommended a few of my other vendors such as my day-of-coordinator. The food was amazing and we actually had our rehearsal dinner at the Oasis also! We chose the fajita buffet for rehearsal dinner and plated dishes for the wedding reception. Thank you so much to Beth and the staff at the Oasis for making our day so special! We were able to enjoy a wonderful Oasis sunset during our honeymoon and can't wait to visit again for anniversaries!

Beth was simply amazing! If she didn’t have a solution for something she made one happen! All our guests were simply amazed how beautiful everything was! We were so impressed and appreciative of the staff...everything was simply perfect!

I was so pleased with my experience. The decor was set up beautifully, the food was great, the view was amazing, and they took care of everything for us. We were able to just enjoy our day. I’m so thankful!!

Every couple will know a venue is meant to be within 60 seconds of being there, and that was how my fiancé and I felt as soon as Beth took us up to the venue. The view was unmatched and the quality and accommodations that the Oasis provide within the cost is grade A.

The Oasis was the perfect venue for our wedding! Such a beautiful location, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, incredible lake views, and amazing sunsets. Their wedding Coordinator Beth Dale, and her amazing staff, was so accommodating and attentive. Very responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They truly made our day spectacular.

We used The Oasis for our rehearsal dinner venue. The food was tasty, but more importantly, all our guests were blown away by the view! It was a fun, classy event with everything we needed to have a great time hanging out and entertaining our guests.

We loved the oasis. Beth, the coordinator, was amazing. She was on top of answering all questions in a timely manner, she was very professional and knew everything about how to make a wedding flow. She helped calm me down every time I got worked up. She made the whole process super easy. I highly recommend the oasis for a wedding. In addition to the great service, the wedding was beautiful because of the views and sunset at the oasis. Get married there!

Beyond perfection. Our wedding at the Oasis was better than the stuff that dreams are made of. The food is excellent, from the catering menu. Our guests kept complimenting us on how good it was. They also went out to take sunset selfies. Beth, the Oasis wedding coordinator, is a detail-oriented individual who made sure even the tiniest of details were accomplished. Beth was attentive to every need, and her responses were immediate. Having our wedding at the Oasis was the experience of a lifetime.

We recently had our wedding at The Oasis (Nov 4, 2017), specifically at the Top of the Oasis. If any engaged couples are looking for a wedding venue with a breathtaking backdrop, this would be it!! It is just MAJESTIC!! In addition to the gorgeous view, the staff at The Oasis are also amazing. Beth Dale, who was our day-of coordinator made sure that all of our requests were addressed and made sure that everything went smoothly. She communicated with all of our vendors beforehand and made sure that everything was done in a timely fashion. Personally, i thought of her to be very kindhearted, understanding and someone with a very helpful nature. The food was amazing as well and all of our guests enjoyed it. The staff at the Oasis were very professional and overall, very accommodating. We requested that our rehearsal dinner be held at the Oasis on the night before the big day and wanted all of our family members sit in the same area or on tables that can be put together and Beth made this happen. She went above and beyond to make sure to reserve an area of the restaurant for a party of 30+ people, so that we could all enjoy our dinner together on the night before the the wedding as a family. Their prices are also very reasonable. We are not from Austin, Texas and in fact, live two hours away from the venue, and even though there are some pretty venues in our area, we made this trip because NO OTHER VENUE could beat the majestic view of the Oasis combined with excellent & accomodating services provided by the staff at the Oasis. Thank you and I recommend the Oasis to all engaged couples.

Absolutely the perfect choice we could have made for our wedding venue, ceremony, reception, food, and most importantly the coordinator Kelsey Shipman and her Assistant Beth. Kelsey really is a hidden gem and so unbelievably accommodating, helpful, knowledgeable, a multi-tasking queen, there is so much I could say about her alone. We live in Katy, Tx but wanted a somewhat destination-water-beach-like feel. Obviously, having a destination wedding was way out of budget so as we were sitting at the Oasis eating lunch as we often did when visiting Austin, we thought this would be a beautiful place to get married. Sure enough, we left that day with a booklet of information, kelsey's contact info and everything fell into place from then on. Kelsey was very fast to respond to calls, emails, and scheduling numerous meetings to plan out the buffet meals, seating, bar selection, and every little detail that was necessary for our wedding. Kelsey worked with our budget and even discounted many items. She adjusted the contract and estimate many times and even made terrific recommendations. The day of the wedding, Kelsey and her assistant Beth helped my family decorate while I was getting ready in their bridal suite. Everything was very organized, on time, flowed very well, and the entire day was perfect. The food was great, the drinks were flowing, everyone had a great time. The only complaints we had were during the ceremony on the sunset villa deck at 5pm, many guests needed sunglasses which we should of thought to provide as a cute gift, the head table was positioned in the corner with the sun directly on your back with no shade causing us to sweat profusely, however, not really their fault just a suggestion. Other complaints, were the music was way too loud for a small space but again not their fault (the DJ and ours for not speaking up sooner). Overall, it was a perfect day and couldn't have gone any smoother. HIGHLY RECOMMEND KELSEY AND THE OASIS!!!

We loved having our wedding at The Oasis on Lake Travis. The Sunset Villa room was the perfect backdrop to our special day. The evening was absolutely perfect despite the rainy weather during the ceremony. We were still blessed with spectacular views along with double rainbows over the lake once the rain stopped.
Kelsey Shipman, our wedding coordinator and her assistant Bazae did an amazing job helping us create our perfect day. These ladies are a joy to work with and went above and beyond for us. They handled everything … from the special touches throughout the room to assisting our guests and vendors … all we had to do was show up and enjoy our day.
The food was fantastic, the staff was professional and well-dressed, and the décor was beautiful … Our family and friends are still raving about it! It was truly our dream wedding and we wouldn’t change a thing … including the rain.

Kelsey was the best wedding planner! It was truly a blessing to work with her. Planning my wedding was a breeze, not stressful at all. Our wedding day? An absolute dream. Looking back, I wouldn't change a single thing. The sunset was magical, the food delicious and everyone had a great time.

Not only did we have the best view, but everything about the wedding was perfect! The food was great, the drinks were great, the venue was clean and well prepared for us and and Kelsey and her staff were amazing!! I couldn't recommend all of it more!!! Well, WONDERFUL is the best word to describe our experience with Kelsey andBaeza at the Oasis. They took care of EVERY detail and led us through the process seamlessly. They took the worry out of our special day and guided us through the evening so we could enjoy every guest and every moment. The Wedding Guide they have put together provided extremely professional, caring and affordable vendors. Oh, and the food at the reception was complimented by every guest. It truly was a dream wedding. Thanks, Oasis!!!

My in-laws booked the Oasis for our rehearsal dinner and it turned out to be a beautiful event. I wasn't really in on all the planning and details, but I can tell you that I was a very happy bride. The atmosphere was wonderful and the room that we had reserved offered both indoor and outdoor seating. The food and drinks were excellent and our waitress was exceedingly accommodating and kind.

The Oasis was absolutely AMAZING!! The venue was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and they provided exceptional service!! I can only hope to have my daughter's wedding there too!! :) I HIGHLY recommend this venuw for any occasion! Thank you Kelsey & Bazae!!

We had our wedding in the Sunset Villa room of the Oasis in October. It was an intimate wedding, and the setting was absolutely perfect. The pictures turned out beautifully, and I have only great things to say about Kelsey and Sam, the wedding coordinators. Everything went so smoothly, and I literally have zero complaints about the entire experience.

Kelsey and her staff people were wonderful to work with. They accommodated all of our needs in a very professional manner. We would certainly recommend your services to family and friends that are looking for a venue of any type.

We got The Lone Star room, I had about 70 people so it was a perfect size, with a photo booth there as well. I was a little worried about the Dance floor and the DJ on the dance floor, but it turned out to be perfect for that amount of people. They also opened up the doors where the dance floor kinda expands to dance outdoors on the balcony. It was beautiful and I would definitely recommend this place and room for a small wedding.

Kelsey Shipman, Samantha, and the entire staff at The Oasis on Lake Travis are absolutely a blessing! Kelsey and Samantha made sure that the entire process went as planned and smoothly as possible. Beautiful venue, breath taking view of Lake Travis, and the space at the Top of the Oasis ballroom is PERFECT for a wedding. The ballroom was gorgeously decorated and set up with some of the Oasis décor and some of my own. My husband and I were so relaxed and trustful of Kelsey and Samantha that we didn't do the "paranoid" check of the dining and reception set up. We seen the venue and all of the décor at the same time our guests had seen it. I remembered seeing it all and realizing how beautiful it all came together and wanting to cry LOL! It was a night I'll cherish for the rest of my life and I'll never forget all who were involved. The wedding was 2 months ago and my guests are still raving about how beautiful and perfect the night went.. Despite the rainy weather. Even with rain and no sunset our pictures are fantastic and our wedding was absolutely elegant. Thank you again Kelsey! You're all stars in my book!

Kelsey is the coordinator and Sam is her assistant. Both of these ladies were amazing from the day I emailed her about the venue until the wedding day! Words can't explain how great of a job they did. They set everything up beautifully and my day was perfect! I love them both so much! They are very kind and take care of their bride! She made sure I was okay 24/7. I would defiantly recommend booking your wedding here if you were like me wanting a lake view. I had a list of 20 venues and chose the Oasis, because they were very friendly, they weren't pushy or short with me like others and fit my budget! NO REGRETS!

Kelsey and Sam made my day extra special. They were very patient and helpful when I was planning my event and effortlessly implemented changes, when my guest list went up by 25%. I received many compliments on the food and the venue. I would not hesitate to host my event at the Oasis in the future.

Laidback yet elegant - simply put: we had no complaints when it comes to The Oasis. More so, we definitely don't regret spending a a little extra to have Kelsey, the wedding coordinator at The Oasis, see to all of our needs. She was patient with us (even though we had no idea how to plan our wedding), and she seemed prepared for every meeting. The venue itself was very accommodating - the food was perfectly prepared (we had a Cajun-style buffet), the ceremony and reception were perfectly secluded from the rest of the restaurant, and no one seemed to mind that my husband and I wandered around with the photographer, entering rooms as we pleased, to find great locations for portraits. Weeks later, our guests are still raving about how beautiful the wedding was.

Kelsey worked with us from the day we booked it until the moment we were getting in our get away car to ensure that our day was exactly how we wanted it to be. If you haven't been to The Oasis, it is the most beautiful place in Austin for a wedding. Our ballroom faced sunset and it was gorgeous. The interior is equally beautiful and required very little decorations to be bought, but those that I did buy, Kelsey and her team set up for us! Not having to set up or clean up is a wonderful service the Oasis provides. The room was laid out exactly the way I envisioned, the food was delicious, and they made sure to remind us about our schedule, but were flexible when photos took longer than expected. Really I cannot convey in words how great the Oasis Weddings Team is and how wonderful our wedding was! Look into booking this venue. You will not regret it!

Kelsey and Sam were awesome wedding coordinators. My mom still asks about them all the time to see how they are doing. Everything ran so smoothly. The food was awesome, the venue was absolutely gorgeous and all of my family had a blast. It was a perfect night. I highly recommend the Oasis for weddings! Kelsey even put up with my dad who was on the perstering side, and she did it with a smile. Loved, loved, loved the experience, wish I could do it all over again!

Wow, what an experience! We got married at the Oasis in the Starlight Ball Room and it was absolutely the most perfect night, all thanks to our coordinator Kelsey Shipman and her staff! From day 1 Kelsey was the most helpful and kind person! She went out of her way every chance she got! We had a wedding of 215 and used both the bars in the Starlight room. The Oasis staff was on top of their game and really did a great job. They set up the tables in the Starlight room and set up all the decorations I brought for them. I even brought lights to decorate the pillars in the room and the manager Adam volunteered to put them up! The food was out of this world good! We had a plated meal of 3 different choices and I highly recommend the plated meals at the Oasis. Kelsey and her team just went above and beyond, from helping to call all my vendors to being so accommodating with all my questions. I would text Kelsey and she would answer within a few minutes and always had the best attitude no matter what my concern was. Kelsey made sure I was taken care of in the bridal suite on the day of, and made sure my husband and his groomsmen were taken care of. Kelsey was just there for everything! I'm just so impressed! The Oasis was the perfect venue for my rustic texas style wedding, and was the perfect spot for beautiful pictures! From the first day I met Kelsey to every meeting with her, every call, the decorations, the food, the bar, her staff, the wind, the chairs, a vendor of mine showing late and with the wrong person, to my groomsmen running around at the last minute trying to find the rings...Kelsey took care of everything. She even packed some cake and water to go in the car waiting for us when we left! Her staff was perfect and so was Kelsey,she really made my day THE PERFECT wedding day! I could go on and on, but not only am I impressed with The Oasis and their staff but Kelsey as a coordinator went above and beyond and was THE BEST person to work with! SO happy with Oasis

I had schedule with the Oasis a year before our wedding date when Beth was there, so I went through three different wedding coordinators. When I finally spoke with Kelsey it was the first time I felt comfortable with any wedding coordinator I spoke with before. She was absolutely amazing to talk with and understood any changes that needed to be made immediately. Kelsey and her team at the Oasis were fabulous to work with. I would highly recommend anyone that loves Lake Travis and has memories there to at least give the Oasis a chance. If you do not; you are definitely missing out. Kelsey, Sam, and the staff at the Oasis made our dream wedding into a reality. Nothing could have been possible if it were not for Kelsey and Sam. We love/d the Oasis and will be going back on our first Anniversary.

We loved having our wedding reception at The Oasis! Our coordinator, Kelsey, went above and beyond helping us plan for our special event - and we planned it in just a few short months! The Bridal Room was VERY spacious, like a little apartment with a mini living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with several mirrors and plenty of closet space and of course, an iron and steamer (upon request)! We had the Lakeside Terrace for our reception and they helped us fit ~65 people! The Lakeside Terrace included an indoor area seating 60+ people, plus our own private deck with gorgeous views of the lake and sunset! We brought in our own decorations for all the table center pieces the night before and Kelsey and her team added their own special touches by adding some extra mirrors and marbles to make the tables look *that* much prettier! Kelsey kept us on track the entire evening and was VERY hands-on making sure everyone was having a good time and making sure my grandmother and all the kids were comfortable and happy. The food and drinks were great, we even had a few vegetarians in which The Oasis accomodated for - and my family RAVED about how delicious it was! Kesley even made sure that our two children were able to go downstairs outside on the deck to ring the "sunset bell!" They loved it and Kesley made them feel very special! At the end of the evening, Kesley and her team packed up all our things and had our car packed and waiting for us when it was time to go. If I ever need to throw another big party, I would not hesitate to book with The Oasis again! Like all weddings, the evening went by so fast - but The Oasis made sure to make it one of the most memorable nights of our life! :)

Beth and all of her staff were amazing. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and perfect setting to have our reception. Everything was so well organized and the food was delicious. Everyone at our reception kept telling me how much fun they had and how amazing the view was.

The staff set up everything for us. Wedding favors, flowers, everything. We showed up and got dressed and the Oasis handled the rest. Beautiful views and sunset also. Greatest place ever for a wedding.

The staff was always checking on us during our reception to make sure we had everything that we needed. The decorations looked absolutely gorgeous, even better than I expected!

The Oasis is a wonderful option for a reception. Although they went through some changes prior to my wedding, Beth stepped right in and made sure everything was perfect. Since also provided us the courtesy of calling our vendors to set up delivery time. Additionally, they set up the entire reception inlcuding chair covers and table clothes. The food was wonderful and suprisingly enough no one could finish their plates. The staff was also very attentive and made sure that the night ran smoothly. Definitely a good choice!

Jill and the rest of the staff at The Oasis did such a great job with everything! Their professionalism and attention to detail was impeccable. Everything flowed so perfectly and went so well. I was seriously one of the most chill brides-to-be on my wedding day thanks to Jill and everyone! The food was amazing and everyone left with a full stomach and a smile! My husband, myself and our guests all felt like royalty on our big day. The venue is perfect for weddings and any other special event. I highly recommend The Oasis!!!

The Oasis was a beautiful place for us to have our wedding. It overlooks Lake Travis and we had an amazing sunset that night. Beth was so great, she's very sweet and was running around making sure everything went well. We were planning the wedding in about 2 months so they knocked off $600 for last minute plans which was great. The Lone Star room where the reception was held was dark and romantic and set the mood completely. Everybody was great including the waitresses/waiters that were working the wedding.

Jill and Scott at the Oasis did more than I expected to make our special day run smoothly. Scott even brought my husband a beer during our post ceremony pictures. They kept us on schedule while allowing us some flexibility.
We also used the Oasis for our sit down dinner and the food was amazing. They were able to steal a great banquet chef from elsewhere in Austin. And I can't leave out the best sunset and gorgeous backdrop for our wedding. Absolutely perfect!!!

The Oasis is BEAUTIFUL. They just built their new reception venues with tiered decks, beautiful views of Lake Travis, and the sunset. All anyone could talk about was the view and the food! If you dream of an outdoor wedding but hate the idea of bugs, mud, and the chance of rain, check out the Oasis. It was amazing. And the staff were professional and dressed well, walking around serving drinks. The food was delicious and they helped us customize our menu. The drinks were super good and super strong (also a plus!)

Aside from my top tier being served, or was amazing! We had gorgeous weather, vita was breath taking, Kelsey Shipman was on the top of her game making everything run smoothly, the food was great! I loved it! Wish we could do it again! Oh wait! Vow renewals! Hehe

Our wedding was planned last minute because we were having trouble finding a venue we could afford and that would work with our timing coming home as we are both military. They were very flexible with us and worked hard to make our day special. The day of our wedding it was cold and rainy but everything turned out perfect. The space was perfect for us having close to 100 people. It was a beautiful wedding and I would highly recommend having your special day here. :)

Due to the bridal suite being booked for the day of I had issues finding a close place for me and my girls to get ready. Also, we wanted somewhere close on the lake to spend our first night together and the place I was working with was too flighty to be reliable. Kelsey was there yet again to save the day. She spoke with the owner and they allowed us to rent his one bedroom apartment next to The Oasis...the place was amazing and made the day just that much more memorable. Kelsey and Sam made the day easy and relieved any stress I could have experienced with forgetting numerous things in the apartment but they retrieved everything without hesitation. They also were my brain during the entire night and I never had to ask for anything since it seemed we were one brain sharing our thoughts. The venue and the staff were amazing is all I can say for The Oasis and we wouldn't change a thing about our day.

My wedding reception was perfect. Kelsey was so much fun to work with and she really knew her stuff. She was helpful when I could make a decision...it can be overwhelming. Everyone loved the venue and thought it was perfect! I highly recommend The Oasis for your wedding.

I booked my ceremony and reception with The Oasis 2 years before the actual date. In less than a year they had already been through 2 different wedding coordinators and was not notified of the switches. Kelsey was the third I worked with and I am so lucky she stuck around for the long haul! She was absolutely amazing and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process.
She answered my countless emails and questions and met with both my mom and I whenever we needed to. She was very reassuring and knew what she was doing. At the rehearsal all my bridesmaids loved her immediately and everyone could tell she knew how to handle any situation. She took control and made my day seamless!
The food was absolutely fantastic, all of the guests loved it. They provided the linens and put up decorations I had made for the centerpieces.
Kelsey was so pleasant to work with. I can't imagine working with anyone else. She made my wedding perfect! I highly recommend the Oasis for anyone who is thinking about it!

I had my wedding reception in the Lakeside Terrace room at the Oasis, I had about 35 guests so that room worked very well for us. I was a little worried that the very "themed" look of the room would not transfer well into wedding reception.. but on the day of I was very impressed!! It looked so nice and classy. The reception ran so smoothly thanks to the staff at the Oasis, I literally did not worry about one single thing, they took great care of me and my guests from beginning to end. The planning before hand was a little hectic and details changed often, thankfully they were able to work with us and keep up with everything :) Also, I love the restaurant there, but the catered food was Amazing! much better quality than the tex-mex, and I am even a fan of that. Overall I am happy I chose the Oasis as my reception site!

Ashley and Sam were both great at coordinating the ceremony and reception for our wedding.

The Oasis was the perfect venue for our special day. The day of our wedding was very very cloudy so we didn't even get a view of the sunset that it's known for but we didn't need it. The room and staff were so great that every one of our guests enjoyed their time and we couldn't have imagined our day going any better.

Great view, room was beautiful, and food good. However, we didn't have a DJ and brought our own music, I highly recommend hiring a DJ since we experienced some technical difficulties. The DJ may have better sound equipment and can do announcements better than we did.

What can I say? It's The Oasis! The food was a hit, and the atmosphere was nothing short of pure magic. Only comment would be that the coordinator seemed disengaged and distracted, often took days to respond to emails, and left an hour early, leaving me (the bride) scrambling to arrange my own send-off as family members started trickling out early and we had to cut the reception short. Despite those things, she must have done her job because everything was simply incredible. (Maybe she was just overbooked this summer and the Oasis needs to give her a vacation!) Don't hesitate to book the Oasis as your venue. The Sunset Villa and bridal suite could not have been more perfect!

Absolutely the best view on Lake Travis!

Great place...everyone was wonderful!

The view was absolutely stunning! Beth was awesome. However, the food wasn't up to expectation. For some table, the chickens & steaks were cold and chewy. But overall, it was a wonderful experience, the view really made up for it.

Beth is no longer the coordinator at The Oasis, she quit a month before our wedding, and no one told us until the new coordinator, Ashlee, emailed us. I must say that, in my opinion, Ashlee did not do the best job. Granted, my wedding was her first at The Oasis but she seemed to not be very knowledgable about the way weddings went there. Her assistant, Sam, seemed to do mostly everything and answered most of our questions at the meeting where we finalized all the details. Sam was great and very helpful through our whole planning.

We were married in the Starlight room and the venue and view itself are beautiful and hardly need any decorating at all. We picked The Oasis for these reasons and also for the fact that it was very reasonably priced and had such great reviews. We were also able to choose our menu and what type of alcohol we wanted served. We also thought it was very nice that they allow you to choose the colors of your linens and offer other decorations at no charge. All of these are good things about The Oasis but I unfortunately experienced a couple important bad things, as well.

To make a long story short, the linens and napkins that were put on our tables for the wedding we not the correct color that we chose. That was a detail that many brides would be very upset with.
We also chose to only have beer and wine served and the bartenders still served liqour, and lots of it. This was very upsetting to me because many people got extremely drunk and my parents were also stuck with a very large bar tab. When I wrote Ashlee an email after the wedding expressing my disappointment, I felt she was very ingenuine with her apologies and did not take much responsibility for the mistakes made. As a coordinator, I felt it should have been her job to know every detail of the wedding. She made me feel like she had little regards for how important my wedding day was.

I would advise future brides to be VERY careful in going over final contracts and to have an absolutely certain clarity for all the words used on the contract.

In response to Ashlee's response- I am sorry to say that that is a lie when you say the bar only served beer and wine after my mother brought it to their attention that we didn't want liquor served. After the cocktail HOUR was over, the bar began to charge people for some of their drinks (another thing that we did not want to happen at the wedding). However, liquor was most certainly still generously served until the end of the night. I did not say the bar tab was left open, but several of my friends and family commented to us that they did not pay for their liquor drinks, or only paid for SOME of them, as their individual tabs were very low. My parent's tab at the end of the night was very high, leading me to believe many drinks were put on their tab. Again Ashlee, you still have not taken responsibility for obviously not knowing the details of our wedding.
