I highly recommend hosting your wedding at The Oaks!! Not only is the property beautiful, but the entire staff was spectacular. Lamond was so quick to respond to every question we had. She was extremely accommodating and willing to work with us in every request. We were able to host an entire weekend of events at The Oaks. They coordinated transportation for guests staying at the venue to our Welcome Party, and allowed us to have a brunch on Sunday at The Bistro. I cannot say enough about how amazing The Oaks staff was, and we are looking forward to going back.

We couldn't recommend The Oaks highly enough. From our first venue visit where we were surprised by delicious homemade brownies and tea, to our overnight visit & tasting where all of our questions were answered, we knew we were in great hands. Every member of the team is so knowledgeable, responsive, caring, and passionate. It was a pleasure working with Lamond to plan all aspects of our special day, Chef Doug to create our rehearsal & reception dinner menus, and Joe to execute our perfect wedding weekend. Our guests were so impressed by the service (truly above & beyond), quality of food & drinks, and the beauty of the venue. We are so happy that we chose The Oaks and if we could go back, we wouldn't change a thing!

My husband and I are so happy that we chose to get married at the Oaks. Lamond and the entire staff were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. Our wedding day couldn't have gone smoother. The venue was picture-perfect and the food was absolutely delicious. Our family and friends are still talking about how amazing the evening was. We also loved that our family and wedding party got to stay at the venue for the weekend. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and it was just so nice for everyone to have a central place to hang out for the wedding weekend. The groomsmen got to do a wedding morning kayak trip in the creek which was truly a highlight. We are excited to see how the renovations turn out and come back for our anniversary!

The oaks was everything and more!! We loved having an “all inclusive” type venue and a place where all of our friends and family could stay.
Lamond is responsive, accommodating and sooo good at her job! She was always available when we had questions. The day of the wedding, she was on top of it. She constantly checked in with my husband and I to make sure we were having a good time & had everything we needed.
The venue is so beautiful and serene. I loved getting to watch the sunrise the day of my wedding with my husband.
The food is the BEST!!! We are still receiving compliments from guests. During the cocktail hour, the food kept coming. This is the first wedding I’ve been to where I didn’t have to hunt down servers and food. Many guests said the same.

We had our wedding here on 8.27.22 and Lamond and her staff were absolutely amazing! She made sure everything was taken care of so I had zero stress the day of the wedding. People were commenting on how perfectly timed everything was and obviously the food because the food is AMAZING!

The main thing that sold us on this venue that you book the entire venue and its rooms for the whole weekend! There are 15 rooms total so we had our friends stay in the rooms during our wedding weekend. There is also a huge patio with tons of seating so it was really nice to hang out with them after the wedding and make a weekend out of it! Several people commented on how they are going to recommend the venue or how they wish they had their wedding there.

We were just married at The Oaks on April 23rd and could speak for hours to the incredible venue, food, location, and most especially, the people. To Missy, Candi, and Lamond, they were the very best to work with – easygoing and professional from the start, and made us feel like we were the only couple in the world to get married there. The cost was affordable, but truthfully, considering the view of the bay, the remarkable condition of the venue, the steak and crab cake dinner, and service, it should have been much, much more. The flow of our wedding weekend included rehearsal dinner on the dock, the ceremony at the point overlooking the bay, cocktail hour alongside the Inn, and reception indoors. The Bridal Cottage and Grooms Suite made the perfect locations for our entire party to get ready (15 total!), and the entire Inn housed our families for four days. We had 150 guests who moved easily throughout the venue and explored St. Michaels during the day, plenty of activities to do before (and after) the wedding, it was easy to find for our out of town family. If there are any reservations in your mind about booking your wedding with The Oaks - get rid of them. This is your sign!! We are forever indebted to this lovely place and the people who manage it.

The Oaks Waterfront Inn is the absolute perfect wedding venue! We fell in love with it the second we walked in! The property is beautiful and the staff is so kind! We were able to take so many nice pictures on the water, in front of the Inn, and in front of their barns. It really meant a lot to us to have all of our family stay on property the entire weekend! We had our rehearsal dinner on the dock and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We got married in August, but there was a very nice breeze from the water. On our wedding day, Candi couldn’t have been more helpful! She checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed and ensured everything was set up to our liking. Candi and the entire staff were so helpful and couldn’t have been any happier for us! They took the time to get to know us and not just treat us like guests, but family! We loved everything about The Oaks Waterfront Inn and will absolutely be back, multiple times!

The Oaks was the first and only venue that my husband and I toured. Tucked away on a peaceful cove, it had everything we wanted and so much more. It’s big enough to accommodate our family and friends so that we were able to spend extra time with them, but small enough that the staff could take amazing care of us. Attentive service, delicious food, not to mention the gorgeous views from every spot on the property. We will definitely be back for weekend getaways!

Words cannot explain how LUCKY we felt to be married at this venue! The Oaks Waterfront Inn is a dream come true. We initially fell in love with The Oaks and their staff via FaceTime during the COVID pandemic. We visited one week later and it was true - the Inn is amazingly gorgeous!! We were floored by the hospitality, the delicious food, the thoughtful and friendly staff that feel like family, the beautiful landscaping and the homey-ness of the Inn. We got compliments all evening on how wonderful of a venue The Oaks Waterfront Inn is. People are still raving about the FOOD!!!!! We would 1000% not have had as amazing of a wedding day without Candi, Missy and Dolores - not to mention Paul the INCREDIBLE chef and every single staff member. They went above and beyond for our wedding and we could not have chosen a better place. The bridal cottage is one of my favorite parts.. and my now husband loved being able to play all the fun yard games on wedding day. Having a rehearsal dinner, your ceremony/reception and your suites in one place was what we were looking for and it felt like a private weekend getaway for us and all of our loved ones to be together. We love The Oaks Waterfront Inn and will visit for years to come!!! :)

Upon walking into the door of The Oaks for the first time we knew we had found our dream wedding venue. Missy was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we introduced ourselves for our tour, and we were met with that same warmth during our 22 month planning process.

Candi, Missy, and the entire Oaks staff went to stratospheric levels to make our wedding day perfect. We had to postpone our wedding by 5 months due to COVID and Candi was beyond accommodating to change our date and work with us when we experienced some complications due to the Delta variant.

As others have said, the food is incredible - all of our guests have continued to rave. They even turned a simple green salad into a talking point after the wedding, it was that good. We added on the raw bar, signature cocktail, late night snack, and sparkler departure, all of which were executed flawlessly (though we felt the raw bar was an extra special touch).

While The Oaks has no control over the weather, we had a beautiful October day without a cloud in the sky, and our wedding ceremony between the trees was picture perfect. Immediately after our ceremony an attendant met us with glasses of celebratory champagne which was really magical.

The bridal cottage is the perfect spot to get ready in - plenty of space with lots of natural light (and the chic decor makes for cute getting ready photos!). There are many unique spaces around the property to take wedding photos in and the view of the water from the ballroom during the reception can’t be beat. Our family and bridal party all stayed at The Oaks over the weekend and gushed about how wonderful the accommodations, food, and staff were.

Thank you so much Candi, Missy, Dolores, and everyone else at The Oaks who worked so hard to put on such a fabulous weekend. We have been floating on Cloud 9 since last weekend and can’t wait to return for a weekend trip!

I don’t even know where to begin with how wonderful The Oaks and their staff are! To start, we booked a summer 2020 wedding in June 2019- way before COVID was even a thing. Once COVID hit and we realized that our original wedding date was just not going to work, The Oaks was incredibly kind to us and graciously rescheduled everything to this summer. During the unprecedented and uncertain times, they were flexible and accommodating which they honestly didn’t need to be and I think that speaks volumes to the kind of people that they are. As things began to move forward again, The Oaks was with us every step of the way. They suggested amazing vendors, replied to emails within minutes, and accommodated every request. We arrived to The Oaks the Thursday before the wedding with cars loaded to the brim and as soon as we pulled in The Oaks literally took everything from there. It was completely hassle free. We had a DELICIOUS rehearsal dinner under the dock on Friday. The atmosphere that The Oaks offers is truly unmatched and it felt like we were on a vacation. It was amazing that we were able to have closest family and the bridal party stay with us on-site, they mentioned how it felt like a destination wedding and how relaxing it was and nice to be hanging out all together all weekend. Our wedding day was a DREAM. Candi and Missy literally took care of everything. Our last minute rain plan was perfectly executed and I did not worry about anything knowing that they had everything under control. There are also so many beautiful places to take photos there, so while Plan A on the water didn’t work out Plan B was just as magical. Our guests RAVED about how delicious all of the food served at the wedding was and how gorgeous the venue and waterfront was. We have had MANY guests tell us that it was easily the best wedding they had ever been to and we know that is because of The Oaks. I could go on and on but we truly can not recommend this venue enough. THANK YOU Candi, Missy, & the whole Oaks team for EVERYTHING. You made our dream come true. We will forever deeply appreciate you and can’t wait to visit soon! The Oaks will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and I wish we could do it all over again! If you are a bride THIS IS THE PLACE!

We received so many compliments from the wedding guests at my daughter's wedding on the lovely venue, the delicious food and helpful staff-even the bartender was top notch. Everything came off flawlessly. Our family was very happy with the accommodations at the inn and the folks at the venue couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Many of the wedding guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. A wonderful experience !

I truly do not know how to express how much this wedding venue deserves more than a five-star perfect rating. To begin with the staff on site, each and every one of them bent over backwards to go above and beyond any type of request we had. They worked with us from the very beginning to bring our dream wedding to life. The event planners on site responded to any questions/comments/concerns throughout the entire planning process within minutes each time. They also had extremely strong knowledge of the best vendors in the area (florist, cakes, officiants, etc.). During the day of our wedding, Cali, one of the event planners on site, kept my nerves down the entire time and made it the most relaxing and low-stress weekend. She was there for us the entire weekend doing everything and anything she could to make it the most incredible time of our life. One thing that especially stood out was when my Husband and I came back from our after-party around 2am, Cali had gone into our room beforehand and cleaned up the chaos from the bridal party getting dressed earlier that day, placed our wedding gifts and cards around our room in such a gorgeous way, had our marriage certificate laid out on our bed, and had two pieces of our wedding cake sitting there at the table for us. My husband and I were almost in tears when we saw what they had done for us. She had also previously overheard my dad saying how upset he was years ago when he didnt get a piece of wedding cake at my sister's wedding, and Cali surprised him the next morning with packaged up slices of cake for him!!

To rave about the venue, my husband and I fell in love with the atmosphere the minute we toured there. However, the day of the wedding our breath was completely taken away once all of the flower arrangements, outdoor lighting, cocktail tables, etc. were so elegantly set up. We had several guests claim this was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to and I could tell they genuinely meant it. One of the biggest perks that made our wedding weekend so great was the fact that our immediate family members and the members in our bridal party could stay together on site together the entire weekend there. It was so much fun to have the bridal party/immediate family all wake up together on Saturday and Sunday morning and enjoy an AWESOME complimentary breakfast in the mansion together. It was such a good way to end the weekend together before heading out on Sunday morning to recap on the wedding and all the fun we had.

To go onto the food, i cannot stress how blown away us and our entire wedding was. I've been to a lot of weddings with pretty decent food, but this was hands down the BEST food I've ever had. From the appetizers during the cocktail hour to the actual meal, it felt like a 5 star fine-dining experience. Not to mention the presentation was stunning. We again had a handful of people tell us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding before.

If you choose to have your wedding at the Oaks, you will have the most perfect and magical experience of your life. I am still on cloud nine with how elegant and classy everything was executed. My husband and I will be coming back in the future to celebrate our anniversary at the most special venue :)

You made our wedding unforgettable. After pushing back our wedding two times, I never thought I would say that it was actually worth waiting for, but you all made that happen. I wish I could put into words my husband and my thanks and satisfaction, but there are no real words that would equally describe it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made everything magical!

The Oaks goes beyond a wedding venue. This place is a home for the most memorable and important weekend of your life! Every single person involved goes above and beyond to make sure the bride and groom, plus family and friends are well taken care of. The food is phenomenal, service is perfection, atmosphere is incredible. Everything is immaculate. My husband and I and our families cannot thank this venue enough, during a time of unknown and a pandemic they worked endlessly with us to make our entire weekend unforgettable. It was better than I ever imagine and the butterflies will last a lifetime. You need to check this venue out! Tracey, Candy, Katie, missy (& everyone!!!) are insanely generous and kindhearted people. Forever grateful.

The Oaks does it all! First, let me say that my wedding weekend went off without a hitch. All thanks to the amazing staff at The Oaks who anticipated my every need and coordinated with all my vendors so I was able to be completely hands-off on my wedding day. You do not need a planner if you choose The Oaks. They provide you a list of vendors who they work closely with. This is how I found my florist, who I absolutely loved. I even brought in a few new vendors, all of whom told me that The Oaks staff were welcoming and helpful. The FOOD - they feed you all weekend! They cover your rehearsal dinner, two breakfasts, cocktail hour, reception and desserts - all absolutely delicious. In reflecting with friends and family, we all agree the best part about our wedding at The Oaks was that our families and wedding party were able to stay on-site at the Inn for the whole weekend. Their 14 rooms + private Bridal Cottage are extremely well kept and managed. Candi, Tracey & Missy were all wonderful to work with and provided me the support I needed during planning and on my big day. We are so happy we chose The Oaks!

What an amazing experience it was having The Oaks host our wedding. The Oaks was the first wedding venue we toured and what an impression it left. At each venue we toured after that, we would ask each other which place do you see us getting married at when you close your eyes – every time the answer was The Oaks. We went back for a second visit and immediately knew it was for us. From the first tour, everyone there made us feeling like family.
We knew we wanted a ceremony by the water, but it was also very important for my husband to have a venue that had a backup in case of rain as well as a place for an indoor reception. We hoped we wouldn’t need the backup but unfortunately, a remnant of a tropical storm moved through on our wedding day! We ended up having the ceremony on the large covered dock and it was still perfect. The lights under the dock along with the rain actually made for a very romantic setting. If only the wind had been a little less! Our guests were kept inside until right before the ceremony and none seemed to mind the setting.
One of the best parts of The Oaks is having the Inn available to you and your guests that night for lodging. All of my side was coming in from out of town, so we loved having family be able to say with us there that night . We chose a Sunday wedding, so we only had the Inn the Sunday night. If you book a Saturday wedding, you do get both Friday and Saturday nights. A wonderful breakfast buffet is also included the morning after for guests who stayed at the Inn.
The highlight of The Oaks has to be the amazing staff. Every single person we dealt with throughout the entire process was wonderful. Tracey is the on-site coordinator who we primarily worked with through the planning process. What an asset to have available at The Oaks! She was amazing and so helpful. Always very quick to reply to any questions we had. Unfortunately, Tracey suffered an injury and was not available for our wedding day. Candi, one of the owners of The Oaks, stepped in for Tracey though and did an amazing job for us. She was a pro! Words can’t express the gratitude we have for everything both Tracey and Candi did to help our wedding day turn out to be exactly what we had envisioned. The staff the day of the wedding were also all top notch. We had to many compliments on the service!

I cannot rave enough about this WONDERFUL establishment, in particular Owner, Candy and wedding coordinator, Tracey. My son was married at The Oaks on September 7th and the entire experience was nothing less than perfect. From the moment we all checked in on Friday until checkout on Sunday, we were treated like kings and queens by a friendly and highly professional staff. The food was fabulous and the service impeccable. We are still receiving compliments daily. If you're looking to have the wedding of your dreams, look no further.

It is honestly hard to think of words that will adequately describe how perfect our wedding weekend was at The Oaks. Tracey and the whole team there were an absolute joy to work with over our year and a half of planning. She was so incredibly accommodating to all of our ideas and wedding day wishes, she very kindly dealt with my many emails of random questions and ideas, and we really enjoyed each meeting we had with her. She is so incredibly helpful and organized, and when it came time for our wedding weekend we didn’t have to lift a finger- she and the Oaks staff made the whole weekend go off without a hitch. Our guests raved about the food and beauty of the venue. The bridal cottage was the perfect and cutest place to get ready and stay in, and having our families right there at the venue with us was so convenient. We were so so sad when the weekend was over, but we can’t wait to go back and stay there again. We LOVE the Oaks and really can’t thank them enough for giving us our perfect fairy tale.

My husband and I wanted a "house" to rent out for our wedding; one where our bridal party and immediate family could all stay together and party the whole weekend. After MUCH research, we realized bringing in all vendors, equipment, tents, etc. would be a big headache and much more expensive than a traditional "venue". We still didn't want a cookie cutter wedding though - we wanted a weekend affair that still didn't blow our entire budget. Then we found The Oaks!

The Oaks is run by a lovely husband (Chef) and wife (Inn Keeper) between Easton and St. Michael's, two adorable charming towns. It's nestled in a quiet area on the water, with a gorgeous bridal cottage, an amazing reception venue for dinner and dancing, amazing rooms (balconies, jacuzzis) and a living room. It has canoes, shuffleboard, a pool - tons of room for hanging out during / after the wedding.

Tracey, our coordinator, was just fantastic. She helped us SO much with the planning - no need for a wedding planner. She put the perfect finishing touches on just everything - when we walked back down the aisle she had champagne waiting for us. She coordinated our vendors, welcomed the guests, and made sure we all knew where to be, and when. She helped us coordinate the rehearsal like a pro.

The weekend was absolutely magical...

For photos, you have a gorgeous dock, water, gardens, a barn and greenery with majestic trees - anything you could want.

For food, the passed appetizers were INCREDIBLY delicious - we did the add-on crab dip station too. The cocktail hour was right outside on the water.

For the ceremony, you can get married between The Oak trees (our pick), on the lawn with an arch, under the dock with sparkling lights (great rain plan!) or inside.

The guys got changed in one of the Inn rooms with a huge balcony while the ladies got ready in the bridal cottage which was perfect for pictures with it's own gigantic bathroom and kitchen.

There are no words that can adequately capture just how incredible our wedding weekend at the Oaks was. We emphasize weekend because that was one of our favorite features of the Oaks – your wedding party gets the entire property to yourselves for the weekend, which allows your wedding to be so much more than the ceremony and the reception, it makes for a truly relaxing and warm getaway. Everything about the Oaks itself is top notch. The facilities are breathtaking, clean, and accommodating; the food is incredible; and the bar selection plentiful. But above all else, what sets the Oaks apart is the staff. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure that you and your guests feel at home and have an incredible time. We cannot tell you how many of our attendees remarked that what struck them most was the friendly demeanor of the entire staff. Tracey, the on-site wedding coordinator, stands out among this phenomenal group. She made every minute of our experience seamless and easy – all while ensuring that our dream wedding stayed on schedule. We would unreservedly recommend everything about the Oaks!

Our families had an amazing experience at The Oaks. Start to finish, all aspects of the wedding weekend were excellent. We could not have asked for anything different. The staff was amazing and Tracey made sure every detail was perfection. The Oaks staff allowed us to have the wedding our kids had dreamed of. Can't thank The Oaks enough!

We just celebrated our daughter’s wedding at The Oaks and there aren’t enough words to describe how absolutely perfect the entire weekend was for all of us. If we could give it a 10, we would! A big plus is that you rent the entire inn so the whole wedding party and both sets of parents stayed together. We had so much fun ALL weekend. The rooms are beautiful and the bridal cottage is extra special. Some of us even had enough time to take walks, ride the bikes and take the canoes out on the creek.
Tracey and Candi worked hard with us to determine the best location and set up for the ceremony as it had rained 5” two days before the wedding and then again the morning of the ceremony so the ground was a bit soggy. We were fortunate and the sun came out and we were able to have the wedding at the point with a beautiful view of the boats across the shore. While a bit nippy, cocktails were outside too. It was absolutely beautiful! The reception room with all the windows looking out on the creek and pier is breathtaking. The added lights and torches enhanced the beauty of the evening.
The staff works very closely with the bride to ensure that everything runs smoothly and is exactly as she would like it. Tracey, the wedding coordinator had everything under control and I mean EVERYTHING! As the mother of the bride I had constant questions but she had ALL the answers and was able to keep me calm.
And while we knew the food would be good, it exceeded our expectations and many guests commented that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding reception. The breakfasts each day were delicious and we are so glad that we held the Thank You breakfast the morning after the wedding. The food was delicious and it gave us the chance to share the beautiful facility in the daylight. I would highly recommend The Oaks. It really was the wedding venue that my daughter had dreamed about and everyone involved in the wedding agreed that it was exceptional. Kudos to the owners, staff and chef!

Our wedding was on Oct. 6th 2018. The setting at The Oaks is absolutely beautiful and the wedding was magical! The staff is top notch, the food was superb, and Tracey took care of every detail to make the day stress free and more special for us! The Oaks exceeded all of our expectations!!

We were recently married here this August and it was the wedding of our dreams. The entire Oaks staff makes the whole weekend so relaxing, enjoyable, and fun! Food, service, rooms, and wedding coordinator (Tracey) were phenomenal. We can’t wait to come back for anniversaries.

We began our experience at the Oaks one cold rainy November day. We were greeted by the owner of the Inn with a glass mug full of delicious homemade hot cider, and the most delicious brownie. From there we were greeted by Sandy, who was warm, friendly and genuine. She gave us a wonderful tour and kindly answered all of our questions. We had looked at several places by that time. The Oaks was hands down our favorite.
Tracey was our amazing event coordinator who was able to anticipate all of our needs and wants before we even knew we had them. She was always prompt and detailed in all of her responses to our many questions to decisions that needed to be made. Tracey was the perfect person to be our wedding coordinator. She had a wonderful sense of humor and told us in a fun way what we need to know and what we needed to do.
The whole weekend ran like clockwork from the beginning to the end. Abby and Candy worked so hard to take care of us during the day and Tracey worked so hard to put on a beautiful rehearsal dinner and wedding. They did this in a way that appeared effortless, even though we knew it was not. So many of the guests at the wedding noticed and commented on how smoothly the wedding went. Everyone raved about the food, too. It was beautiful, as well as, award winningly delicious and they were always able attend to all of our special food allergies and preferences. We heard comments at the wedding from our guests like “This was the best wedding I have ever been to”, “This is the most delicious food I have ever had.” “This food is amazing!” “They really know what they are doing here.” “Everyone is so kind and helpful here.” “This is a beautiful setting.” “It’s so nice that the family can stay right here at the venue.”
Everything was so perfect. We could not have asked for anything at all to be changed. Our daughter and son-in-law said that their wedding was “even more perfect than they could have even imagined it could be.”

I can't begin to put into words how amazing The Oaks is! We recently had our wedding there and it was absolutely perfect. We initially toured The Oaks in the fall of 2016 and fell in love with the beautiful venue and friendly staff. Throughout the entire planning process, they were all very helpful, quick to answer any questions, and provided so much information and guidance, they made it easy! The tasting was so much fun and the food is incredible, which is something we heard from all of our guests as well! A unique feature of The Oaks is that you get the entire Inn for for the whole weekend. It was so much fun enjoying all of that time with our family and friends instead of limiting it to one night! The wedding day itself was more than I could have dreamed of. From getting ready in the bridal cottage, to taking pictures around the gorgeous grounds, and having SO much fun at the reception- everything was absolutely perfect. Many of our guests told us it was "the best wedding they had ever been to" and one said "the most well orchestrated wedding" they had ever been to and we obviously agree :). We can not thank The Oaks and their fabulous staff enough for giving us the most incredible wedding weekend and memories to last a lifetime!

We could not have had a better experience. As parents of the groom we really paid attention. the tasting was wonderful and the food at the actual reception for 200 was spot on. great rehearsal dinner on the dock was a great experience. We loved it and we would do it again in a minute! thank you Oaks Waterfront for making our experience wonderful, we will have great memories!

My husband and I had our wedding at The Oaks on 06/23/2018. We wanted a place on the Eastern shore where our family and friends could have a "mini getaway." The Oaks was our first venue tour and we knew it was the perfect fit. Working with Tracey throughout the planning process was amazing and she made everything easy for us. She ensured us that everything was taken care of and always reminded us not to worry or stress. Three days before our wedding our officiant had an emergency and could not officiate. We called Tracey and she was on it right away contacting everyone she could. Tracey came through and found us the best officiant we could have asked for! We LOVED that you could have the whole venue to yourself and family and friends for the whole weekend. On our wedding day Tracey and her team made everything easy and stress free. They checked in with me and my husband early in the day to review any last minute changes and did a nerve check. Tracey and her team made every detail perfect! The food, decor, service, amenities, professionalism all made our day better then we could have imagined!

What can i say, The Oaks exceeded my expectations. When you contract for the venue it is like owning the mansion for the weekend. Their packages are reasonable and inclusive. The food is amazing - probably the best I have had at a similar event. Hats off to Team Oaks - they are amazing.

Spectacular!!! My daughter got married here last weekend and I am still amazed by the beautiful wedding she had at The Oaks. It was all so perfect and over so quickly. The ceremony was held on the dock on a bright, chilly day. We had the staff put out blankets for our guests, which they loved. It was so beautiful with the white arch and water on three sides. Cocktail hour was held inside and the passed hors d'oeuvres were delicious! We picked the steak and crab cake entrée which was beautiful and delicious. With the views, beautiful table linens, flowers and unbelievable food, it felt like a five star restaurant. We said goodnight to our newlyweds with a spectacular sparkler send off.
We are locals but decided to stay in the Inn with the groom's family and friends from out of town. It was like a mini vacation and two families getting to know each other. The staff was so thoughtful and professional. All of our decorating, scheduling of vendors, and concerns were handled efficiently and professionally. Tracey, the wedding coordinator kept everyone and everything on schedule. I cannot express our sincere gratitude to the owners and staff at The Oaks enough! Thank you for giving our daughter and son-in-law the wedding of their dreams.

If you want an absolutely perfect, magical, amazing weekend--this is your venue! I have a very personal tie and connection to the St. Michaels area, and when looking for venues I found this online and immediately knew this was where I wanted to get married. Our coordinator, Tracey, was absolutely amazing. She was so responsive by email, by phone, in person. She was so nice and helpful in the planning process and when we got there on Friday she was outstanding. She ran that entire weekend without a hitch, anything we wanted done she did without hesitation or question. We changed the location of the rehearsal dinner last minute, and she rolled with it. She let her staff know and they set up in the new location. The day of she was wonderful, she arrived and made sure I was okay and got everything ready for the reception. It looked incredible!! It was truly a relief to have Tracey as our coordinator for the weekend. On to the food--*every* single meal was amazing, from the rehearsal dinner to breakfast, to cocktail hour appetizers, to the reception dinner, to the dessert table. People raved about the food, I mean every single person said the dinner was delicious and they were so impressed! It is such a great feeling when you have people travel to celebrate this weekend with you and they are so impressed with the food. It really just made it so worth it. You can tell the chef loves what he does, you can taste it! We stayed an extra day and felt like celebrities, they were so accommodating to us--homemade cookies delivered to our cottage, breakfast cooked to order for the two of us, and everyone was SO friendly and nice. The weekend was truly magical, it was perfect in every single way. The *only* thing I would change is to have it last longer! It went by in the blink of an eye! If you want to show up to a carefree weekend, this is the venue. What a wonderful, rock-solid way to start our marriage and life together. We were beyond completely satisfied with everything!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Oaks and their staff. They truly helped my husband and I create our dream wedding. They were very helpful throughout the entire planning process. Tracey, our wedding coordinator, was very responsive to all of my overwhelming e-mails and helped me through every step of the way. We were able to arrive at the venue on Thursday evening with a car load of items, unload them and then relax the rest of the weekend. Tracey and everyone at the Oaks took care of everything, I mean everything! I didn't have to worry about setting anything up at all and was able to enjoy the entire weekend. The service was impeccable. Also, the location is a dream. The quaint Inn looks directly over a calming river with amazing views. We were able to have our ceremony on "the point" with a water view background and have our cocktail hour looking over the river which included a stunning boat dock where we were able to have our raw bar! They have a glamours ballroom with an antique feel where the reception was held. Everything was so beautiful. Oh, and the most important part, the food! All of our guests couldn't get enough of the food. It was all insanely delicious from the breakfast to the rehearsal dinner to the bridal cottage luncheon to the cocktail hour and to the reception. It was all amazing. My 90 year old grandmother said it was the best crab-cake she had ever had, and she has lived in Maryland her entire life, wow!! We were also given many compliments on the gorgeous pastry table. People couldn't stop talking about it! Many of our guests have said that it was the best wedding that they have ever attended. I HIGHLY recommend the Oaks to any bride-to-be. Thank you SO much to The Oaks staff for making our dream wedding come true!

My husband and I moved to Easton a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the town we now call home. Therefore, when searching for a venue, it was super important to us to find a venue that would allow our family and friends to share the entire weekend with us. The Oaks was the very first venue we looked at and it checked off every box on our wishlist! Being able to stay at the venue with our closest family and entire wedding party provided us with memories leading up to and after the wedding that we will never forget. We had time to relax, play yard games, enjoy the views and use the pool. One of my favorite parts of the venue is the bridal cottage. It is the absolute perfect spot to get ready on the day of. We had nine ladies getting ready, plus hair and makeup artists in the cottage and had plenty of room! The entire staff at The Oaks is accommodating and top notch! My husband and I did not have to worry about anything for the entire weekend. The venue is naturally beautiful and the perfect backdrop for all types of photography. Oh, and the food is absolutely incredible! Our guests are still raving about both the rehearsal dinner, the appetizers, and the crab cake and steak from our wedding night. We will forever cherish The Oaks and everyone who helped make our day perfect!

I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else after now knowing how amazing our wedding was. The Oaks was the perfect venue- the scenery was gorgeous and made for some great pictiures. It was also a huge plus for us to have the whole venue to ourselves for the entire weekend, we didn't have to worry about wedding crashers or people watching the wedding from afar. That made it very intimate! The staff at Oaks worked with us to have our rehearsal dinner on their dock. My husband is from Boston so they were able to provide a lobster feast for us, which was fantastic! The day of the wedding was completely stress free with the help of Tracey, the day of coordinator. Everything went perfectly, it was absolutely the best day of our lives. Thank you so much to the Tracey and all the Oaks staff for being so helpful and welcoming! Our guests were wild and loved to party, and they didn't hinder on that at all!!!

My husband and I were married at The Oaks October 2013 & I must say, it completely exceeded my expectations as a bride. My wedding day, weekend rather, was absolutely perfect. I can't tell you how many former brides and grooms gave me the pre-wedding advice of "enjoy your day, it will go by so fast." They would also share stories of how they nearly passed out from not getting to eat, or missing cocktail because of pictures, or not even getting to see key details. About a month before the wedding, I panicked thinking this would happen to me, as every acquaintance and wedding blogger seemed to experience this same phenomenon. My wedding couldn't be farther from that; with Tracey and her staff's help, my husband and I enjoyed AND experienced every moment of our wedding weekend. It was absolutely incredible. Husband and I wanted to have a venue where we could relax for the weekend, and invite friends for a "destination" wedding that was worth the trip. The Oaks provided just that. We started the weekend Friday evening with an easy rehearsal (thanks to Tracey's efficient way of wrangling all of our wedding party and huge family) followed by a fantastic rehearsal dinner of crabs (and the most amazing strawberry shortcake I have ever tasted!). Due to the weather, we held the rehearsal inside which was great- it provided a cozy atmosphere, and we still could watch the sunset as we ate! The Oaks provided breakfast for guests the morning of the wedding- everyone commented on how calm I was as a bride. I didn't have anything to worry about, as all my decorations were being set-up by The Oaks team, exactly as I had described. So I enjoyed my last breakfast as a single woman. Our wedding went smoothly- Tracey helped to coordinate multiple vendors (and even made a surprise a cappella group work out for our wedding exit!) and made sure my husband and I were where we needed to be without causing any stress. The food was amazing, and friends still talk about our wedding!

From first meeting to leaving Sunday after the wedding the entire staff was genuinely inviting and invested in making sure our daughters wedding was what dreams are made of. Love them!

I cannot even express how absolutely AMAZING the Oaks is, and I truly tell everyone I meet how magical this place really is. When I first arrived at the Oaks to view the venue, this was the first venue I went to visit with my fiancé. I was planning on going to a lot of other venues before deciding. However, when I arrived at the Oaks, my mind was set. This was the venue I HAD to get married. It was everything that I dreamed of my whole entire life. They made the planning process so easy, and all the staff were a joy to work with. The weekend of the wedding was the best part. I still wish I could go back to the weekend of our wedding, and my husband and I are planning on staying at the Oaks for every Anniversary because it really is the most remarkable place. The Friday before the wedding, we arrived and the staff was wonderful with having me show them where I wanted to put the decorations. They had such great suggestion that made my wedding beautiful. The wedding coordinator was wonderful as well. She completely made the rehearsal so organized which made me not stress about the wedding day. The day of the wedding was incredible. All my guest still to this day says that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. They raved about how the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding. Every time I still talk to a friend or family member about the wedding they still tell me how amazing it was. If you want a fairy tale, absolutely beyond perfect wedding, then the Oaks is your place. I really can’t speak highly enough about how wonderful everything turned out at my wedding and it was all because of the Oaks. They earned 100/100 from us!!!!

Let me tell you my experience about finding our perfect venue..
Us girls always picture our wedding since we were little but then when you are finally engaged and it's time to actually pick your venue, you might panic a little or a lot! I traveled to the St Michaels area last January with appointments to see 4 venues. I had zero luck and was pretty bummed. My aunt was with me and she said that there is one more place she would really like me to see. She stayed at the Oaks a couple years back for her anniversary and said it was just perfect. We walked up to the Oaks with no appointment right at closing time. Sandy greeted us at the door and was excited to show us around even though we didn't have an appointment. Everything was locked up already but she unlocked all the doors and gave us her full tour. It was a cold, gray, no leaves on the trees kinda day and this place still blew me away. I couldn't imagine how beautiful it would be on a nice day in season. We ended up booking with them and got married on November 12th. There was no panicking and that is all thanks to Anthony, the events manager. That man has no idea how amazing he is at his job. He made my whole family feel so comfortable and welcomed, we wanted to take him home with us when we finally had to leave. That picture I had of my wedding since I was a little girl was nothing compared to my actual wedding day. The Oaks Family will forever be in my heart for making our wedding so perfect.

WE LOVE THE OAKS! We had the most amazing wedding weekend and we cannot thank The Oaks enough (Anthony you are AMAZING!!)! I work in hotels and wanted something more intimate and personal -- The Oaks gave us just what we were looking for. We were able to use the entire venue for the weekend, giving our family and friends a place to relax and spend time with one another. Our family and friends cannot stop raving about the experience. On top of being the most perfect setting and location, the staff is truly one of a kind. They take care of you from start to finish (no matter what time you email with questions!). I felt completely taken care of and 100% relaxed on my wedding day. All details were handled and I did not have to worry about anything.

Having our wedding weekend at The Oaks was absolutely perfect!! I honestly cannot even begin to say enough wonderful things about the staff, setting and how much our family and guests loved every moment. Candi, Anthony, and Sandy went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. And I have to mention Anthony again because he was just fabulous on every level. He answered every one of my many emails immediately and answered every question I had thoroughly. I had zero worries when arriving on Friday and he made every vision I had that we talked about come to life. My entire family and all our friends staying with us loved him as well. He checked on us at the cottage many times on Saturday to make sure all was going well and if we needed anything at all. His expertise and professionalism were more than I could ever have hoped for on the best day of my life!!! I could honestly go on and on but trust me, if you plan your day here, you will be SO HAPPY!! And this goes for all the staff as well. We were always taken care of and had many people come up to us all weekend asking if we needed anything. The special touches such as leaving food for us in the cottage after the wedding was over was much appreciated. And the food was out of this world!!! We had more than half our guests raving about the apps and dinner! We had the best weather for our ceremony on the dock and I just cannot wait to get or pictures back and share. Another wonderful part of having your wedding here is that you get to stay the whole weekend and invite your family and friends to be with you since they have a 14 room inn. It was so nice to be able to plan a weekend getaway for everyone as well. Me and my now husband Andrew would recommend The Oaks a million times over and over again. You will not be disappointed and only have the BEST memories to look back on!!!!

It is hard to put to words how perfect of a venue the Oaks was for our wedding AND rehearsal dinner! The grounds, ballroom, and the Inn speak for itself; we were able to incorporate nautical, rustic, vintage, and very classic elements in all of our decor without anything seeming out of place! The staff at the Oaks are truly the best and we are so grateful for their courtesy, attention to detail, and shared excitement for our day! They made our wedding and rehearsal dinner so spectacular. They are so experienced and are familiar with all of the local vendors which helped everything run seamlessly. Our DJ, Jason Walsh, was new to the venue but they worked with him (and vice versa) as if they had done hundreds of weddings together. What I don't see mentioned in many reviews are the rehearsal dinners hosted at the Oaks. The staff worked with us to create a custom Italian menu and it was nothing short of spectacular!! Not only was it delicious, but it was a beautiful presentation and well kept throughout the event, which doesn't always happen with buffets! I couldn't recommend the Oaks more for both the rehearsal and dinner and weddings. The Oaks and the staff will always have such a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much!

So far so good! After several visits to the site, emails and phone calls with the team there, we have booked the Oaks as the venue for our wedding next September. They have provided a ton of useful information from preferred vendors to rooming spreadsheets to menus and "extras" for us to consider. The site is beautiful and it's so nice that everything is included--catering, linens, ceremony space, even a rain plan!

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone at The Oaks for the most perfect wedding weekend! We really appreciate all of the coordination and effort that goes into an event like this and it went off without a hitch : ) All of our guests were beyond impressed with the venue, service, quality, etc., it could not have been a more perfect weekend for us. My husband and I got married at the Oaks on 4/30/16 and it was nothing short of AMAZING! Choosing the Oaks was what truly made our entire wedding weekend unique and unforgettable. Having the entire bed and breakfast for just our family and friends for the weekend made it feel like almost a destination wedding. Our guests raved about the beautiful location, scenery, amazing service and romantic atmosphere. We cannot wait to come back to celebrate anniversaries in the future.

When I began looking at venues, I always loved the Oaks, however I thought it was never going to be in my price range. My husband (then fiancee) and I were looking at numerous venues on the water around the Baltimore area, however nothing seemed to be "the one". When I emailed the Oaks regarding information, they were quick to respond and give me price ranges and package information. We realized that is was very comparable to many venues on the water. From the first moment I stepped onto the location, I knew it was the one. The staff, especially Tracey, Vicki, and Candy were always quick to respond to any questions. I was planning my wedding from a far, and due to their help I was never stressed. The venue is gorgeous! It not only is on a body of water, it is residential which makes it nice and welcoming. We loved that not only were we going to have a wedding, but a wedding weekend! Our family and friends made a mini vacation out of it.

Our wedding was truly beyond our wildest dreams. Everything ran smoothly and perfect. From the beautiful ceremony on the point, to cocktail hour outside with delicious apps (our guest still are raving about the mini ruebens and bacon wrapped scallops), to the premium open bar with friendly bartenders and quick service, to our dinner with tender steak and succulent crabcakes with a delicious desert bar and to top the night off I surprised my groom with Fireworks! When we got back to the cottage on our wedding, Vicki and the staff wrapped up pieces of our wedding cake and our favorite deserts!

I can not thank the oaks enough for accommodating us and giving us the wedding of our dreams. Everyone who came to the wedding had a wonderful time, and keep talking about it to this day. Our guests still say we had "the best wedding ever". I can not say enough positive things about The Oaks and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a truly once in a lifetime wedding.

We started working with her about a year out from our son's wedding which took place in July of 2015.
She was wonderful from start to finish. The wedding rehearsal dinner and the wedding and reception were held there.
We and most of the wedding party also had rooms at The Oaks. I can honestly say that their whole team, from Tracey all the way across to her office staff, dinner servers, housekeeping staff, grounds crew and their security staff (who, by the way were there but not THERE if you know what i mean) did an outstanding job.

We had our wedding here in early May 2015, and I cannot think of anything that went wrong or could have been better, other than lasting a few more hours. The day went great, the venue is beautiful, the schedule went smoothly, and our guests LOVED it! From the start Tracey and the team at the Oaks made our planning a breeze, and helped us make those unexpected decisions (like hotels, pet sitters, babysitters). Fast forward to our wedding weekend, and the day we arrived at the Oaks, all of our decor and supplies were quickly organized, and no longer a worry or thought in our minds. The team at the Oaks has the experience to make the day amazing! On the day of, we could not have asked for a more perfect day, from having all of our friends and family already at the venue, to having a great time at the reception,and ending the night with shuttles to Carpenters, everything was just wonderful! The food at the cocktail hour and reception were to die for - our guests are still talking about how amazing it was! If you are considering a waterfront wedding in the MD/St. Michaels area, I cannot recommend the Oaks enough, our day was perfect, enough said!

This was a fantastic venue for a wedding. During the planning stages, Tracey George, the wedding planner from The Oaks, helped with giving us suggestions of names of vendors that were also great.
During the weekend, everything was perfect except the weather. Rain came a half hour before the ceremony but Tracey had her staff move chairs, wipe them dry and the ceremony was on the boat dock. It was still beautiful. Everyone remained calm and was very professional. They even moved the arch and flowers.
The food for the rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour and reception was nothing but exceptional. They had no problems with any dietary restrictions and it was seamless.
I have heard of nothing but great remarks about the wedding. I would highly recommend The Oaks for a wedding. I can't think of anything that I would have changed about the weekend. Tracey George was very calm, organized and made the wedding a day we will never forget.

It has been two months since my daughter's marriage at the Oaks and we are still basking in the afterglow of the perfect wedding. It is hard to describe all the ways that make the Oaks the ideal setting. Less than an hour and a half from Baltimore and DC, the Inn and grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, just the right combination of rustic and elegant. We chose to have family and friends stay for both nights in the Inn, and that became ours to use as our private residence, with the staff returning each morning to prepare a full gourmet breakfast.
The town of St. Michaels is charming and quaint, just minutes from the Oaks, with wonderful restaurants, a winery (and brewery), waterfront inns and beautiful B and B’s. The Oaks also provides complimentary shuttle service before and after the ceremony which worked perfectly for our guests. The staff at the Oaks was just outstanding. The wedding coordinator, Tracey, guided us with ease and humor through the planning process. She was extraordinary in every way, somehow making us feel we were the only family planning a wedding. She had excellent suggestions for vendors, including DJ, florist, bakery, and hair and make-up. In such a small town, it felt like the whole community was working together. They all knew each other and worked together so well, they were all enthusiastically supporting us. To a person, they were caring, warm, and kind.
Looking back, the weekend seemed almost magical, too good to be true. The atmosphere was joyful throughout and the staff got every detail right. I know they were working hard, but the atmosphere was relaxed and they made it look easy – the mark of true professionals. The guests are still raving about the excellent food, the beautiful setting, the charm of the Oaks, and the responsive staff. This is truly the perfect setting for your dream wedding.

A perfect venue for a momentous occasion! Tracey and her staff ran this like a military operation so that everything went off wonderfully well, but with added compassion and kindness and good humour. Hihgly recommended.

My husband and I were married here on April 18, 2015. We had the best experience and would highly recommend The Oaks! Our entire wedding party and some of our family stayed at the Inn for the whole weekend as well. On Saturday the guys played corn hole and shuffle board while the girls were getting ready in the cottage. Other guests that were there got to hang out by the water and some even went in the canoes. It was such a fun and relaxing environment from start to finish. Our reception was beautiful, from the cocktail hour by the water to the inside area for dinner and dancing, everything was perfect. We even had late night fun in the living room with our family and friends, you truly feel like your at home.Somehow we were blessed with the best weather all weekend which made it even better. The entire staff was so helpful and easy to work with, especially Tracey, Sandy and the owners. They thought of things before I even asked and it was done, they know exactly what to do to make your event easy, fun and worry free. Also, the food was AMAZING, we loved everything!! Thank You Tracey and The Oaks staff for making our Wedding a blast!!

The Oaks is an exceptionally special and wonderful place. First, the location is gorgeous - a beautiful, charming inn right on the water with several great options for ceremony sites. I actually started crying the first time we visited because I was so happy we found the perfect place to get married! (I'm not usually a crier.)

We got married on the dock, then came in for cocktails and dinner and it was wonderful to have everything in one place. The food is amazing - we had crab cakes and filet for dinner which were delicious. One of the most special parts about getting married here was that we had the entire place for just our friends and family for the entire weekend. We got married on a Saturday, and we had friends and family occupy all 13 rooms for Friday and Saturday nights. Rates are reasonable and breakfast is included for both days, so we were able to have breakfast on Saturday and Sunday after the wedding with all of our guests. It was so nice to have more than just one night to spend with the wonderful people who were there to celebrate.

Best of all, Tracey George is part of package! She is their on site wedding coordinator and she is a total pro. She has been organizing weddings at the Oaks for years and has things down to a science. She recommended great local vendors for us, took care of so many details, and truly made the planning and wedding seamless. Tracey is a gem and a pleasure to work with.

I should add that we visited the Oaks in January of 2015 for the first time, and they only had one Saturday open (April 4) between then and November 2015. My (now) husband and I loved it so much we booked it the same day even though it meant getting married a few months earlier than planned. The fact that it was still a perfect event, despite just 3 months of planning, is a true testament to Tracey and the entire Oaks staff who did a superb job. So many people have said it was the best wedding they've ever been too. I'm still smiling.

The Oaks was a dream locations. It was absolutely gorgeous, easy to get to, and the people working there are amazing. Tracy would always send a friendly reminder when something we needed to complete was coming up. She really kept us on track through the entire planning process which was so helpful because our minds were in a million different places. The day of the wedding she made sure we were on time and on track. She would notify not only my husband and I of when the next event was happening (cake cutting, ect.) but she would also notify our parents to ensure they were there to witness it. As for the venue itself, it had an open outside area for the ceremony, a covered outside area in case of a little rain, and an indoor option in case the weather was terrible. I never had to question if I would be able to have my wedding at this gorgeous location. I would highly recommend the Oaks! They make you their priority and ensure that your special day goes on without a hitch.

My daughter needed to get married quickly due to her Marine husband being transferred to Florida. We had 4 months to get everything together. Tracey at the Oaks was so helpful and accommodating. She was so helpful with emails and reminders to help keep me on track. I knew what was needed when and she made everything go so smoothly the day of the wedding. Because of her the day not only went on without a hitch but it went so smoothly that id didn't seem to fly by. We were able to enjoy every minute to this special day.

We have been told by many how beautiful the entire day was. My parents have gone to many weddings including 8 other grandchildren. They have repeatedly told me that this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to.

My beautiful wife and I had our wedding weekend at The Oaks on October 25th, 2014. Every part of the process from our initial visit, through the months of planning, and the entire wedding weekend was flawless. We had a wedding of 150 people with about 60 at our rehearsal dinner which was also held at The Oaks. Tracey, the on-site wedding guru at The Oaks, was absolutely spectacular. She had an answer for every question we had in the 14 months leading up to the wedding, helped us work through some of the harder decisions, and kept all of our friends and family in line so my wife and I could focus on each other and enjoying the weekend. The food at The Oaks lives up to all of the previous reviews you will see on here. We received so many compliments that the steaks were all cooked perfectly and the crab cakes were some of the best people have had....which is high praise coming from a bunch of Marylanders!

The Oaks was able to direct us to excellent vendors for our flowers, photo booth, and DJ and they were all equally impressive. It was so great having the entire venue to ourselves from Friday to Sunday, which is something a lot of places just don't offer. It really made it OUR weekend and we were free to enjoy it with just our friends and family. The Oaks as a whole was perfect and we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

My wife and I simply can't say enough wonderful things about The Oaks, Tracey, and the entire staff. From the moment we stepped on to the property, we felt at ease and that everything was going to be taken care of and it was. Tracey did such a wonderful job taking care of every single detail and making sure that our day was beyond perfect. My mom brought a lot of decorations and other personal touches and Tracey took the time to go over with my mom where we wanted everything. When we walked down that aisle and into that reception room, everything was exactly how we imagined it and we didn't have to do any of it. We picked The Oaks because the venue itself offers something that no other venue does: a weekend exclusively for our bridal parties all staying in the same place. And that to us was priceless and it made the entire wedding that much more special. But we ended up getting that special weekend and so much more.

My husband and I had the most beautiful wedding at the Oaks this past May. Everything went off without a hitch!

Let's begin with the planning of our event. Tracey worked with us through the entire project, answering any questions we had and working closely with both of our families. She was very clear about what could be done and worked with us to get all the details we wanted included and highlighted exactly the way we wanted. I couldn't ask for a more professional and knowledgeable event coordinator. She handled our wedding flawlessly. We were able to enjoy our wedding because we knew Tracey had everything under control.

Next, the venue. We still have family and friends telling us how amazing The Oaks was for our wedding. The combination of the inn, the waterfront views, and the awesome grounds made for a one-of-a-kind location. Every part of the grounds was extremely well maintained and we were able to set up all the different decorations we wanted to make it our own for the whole weekend. We used The Oaks for both our rehearsal dinner and the ceremony, so we can to enjoy having dinner and a party on the dock, while using the point and ballroom for our ceremony and reception. Each had its own piece of charm to make the weekend unforgettable. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food (made by the owner and chef) was delicious and exactly what we expected from our tasting. The food was definitely better than a lot of weddings to which we've been.

I took advantage of the bridal cottage to get ready with all my bridesmaids while my husband had a room with his groomsmen to get ready. There was no need to worry about travelling or being late for our own wedding!

All in all, The Oaks made our wedding perfect from start to finish.

The Oaks is an amazing place to host your special day. The grounds and venue are gorgeous, the food is AMAZING, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. During the planning process Tracey was amazing to work with, answering every question in a prompt manner. Wedding weekend was amazing from beginning to end. They hosted our rehearsal dinner and were very welcoming to all of our guests and wedding day went off without a hitch. Tracey is very good at keeping things on track and making sure you don’t have to worry about a thing. Many of our guests commented that this was the best wedding food that they had ever tasted and I would have to agree (I am still craving the lobster mashed potatoes!!) I would highly recommend the oaks!

We were married at the Oaks almost six months ago (I really can't believe it has taken me so long to write this). If you want to get married on the Eastern Shore, I doubt you will find a better location than the Oaks. My husband and I were sold the moment we walked on the property, as both the interior and exterior of the venue are gorgeous. We took a gamble getting married in March, but the weather was perfect and the setting could not have been more lovely and the wedding was exactly what we had pictured.
I've heard they take good care of the staff at the Oaks and it shows. Most of the staff have been working there for multiple years (as opposed to the fly by night crews you see at some weddings) and they know how to execute a wedding. And Tracey the wedding coordinator is organized and very helpful. I was nervous about not hiring a wedding planner on my own, but at the Oaks you really don't need one (and I would advise brides getting married here not to hire one, as I think it would just create more of a headache and unnecessary expense). Tracey will provide as much of as little hand holding as you like. I was definitely not a DIY bride (and more of a "find someone to worry about things so I don't have to" bride) which worked out well at the Oaks, as they really had everything covered.
The vendors the Oaks recommended all worked out nicely and Tracey and the staff were very accommodating with regard to our requests/personal touches/etc. The food is much better than typical wedding fare (and the staff made sure my husband and I had a chance to eat, and bought all the food from our cocktail hour and dessert buffet to our cottage so we could enjoy it after the wedding, which was a nice touch).
The Oaks isn't inexpensive, but you get much more what you pay than at other venues I looked at. Oaks presents a vibe of laid back elegance and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get married on the Eastern Shore, or somewhere similar.

The Oaks Waterfront Inn was the first wedding venue that my fiance and I visited. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew that this was the place for us. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff and handed mugs of warm cider and homemade brownies... what could be better? As we toured the Inn and the grounds each room we walked into just kept getting better and better! Now, let me move on to Tracey, the Wedding Coordinator. She is literally AMAZING. I am a serious Type A, completely in control, everything has to be perfect type of person. I met my match in Tracey. She is a complete master at what she does and she genuinely cares about making your wedding the most special day ever. She stays on top of you in terms of your planning, offers tips and advice, and helps make your vision come to life. She answered every single one of my questions (which, let me assure you, were VERY many) with patience, with tons of information, and with impressively fast responses. She was always available for a phone call and is super accessible over e-mail. Now, turning to the wedding weekend itself. I dropped off all my rentals, described to Tracey my vision (sounding like a complete psycho, I'm sure), and then trusted that everything would come out looking right. When I saw the reception space all set up, I was FLOORED. It was more beautiful that I could have ever imagined. Tracey and the staff just did an exceptional job in setting everything up. The staff were all very friendly and incredibly helpful... they even brought my fiance and I hors d'oeuvres while we were having pictures taken so we didn't completely miss out on the cocktail hour! The night was perfect in every way, and the flow was seamless thanks to Tracey's amazing coordinating skills. We have been receiving raving compliments from all of our guests about the night (including the AMAZING food) and I can't thank The Oaks enough for making it the wedding of our dreams!

Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and exceptionally beautiful! Tracey was on top of everything from start to finish and the day moved so smooth. A wedding day can be stressful for a bride and she really does a great job at keeping the stress off the bride so you can truly enjoy your day. Working with The Oaks and Tracey George created a perfect venue! Their attention to details, providing timelines and guidance made the day run so flawlessly that even the guests were amazed. When we arrived for the wedding weekend every possible scenario had been covered and completed. We turned all of the rehearsal and wedding day expectations and necessities over to Tracey which left the Bride and Brides parents free to enjoy the day and focus on the important part of celebrating the marriage.

The first time we saw The Oaks we knew it was the place we were going to have our wedding. The grounds, inn and ballroom are all so beautiful and the perfect backdrop for your wedding. Tracey gives you the personal attention as if you are the only bride she is working with. Always responded quickly to any questions or suggestions I had. Her experience really shines through when planning your wedding and even more on the big day. She makes sure you have NOTHING to think about besides walking down the aisle and having a great time. It's so incredible to know everything is taken care of and to not be bothered with a million questions while you are getting ready. Paul & Candi (the owners) are wonderful people. They want your day to be perfect and make sure it is! The food was incredible. Everyone we have talked too keeps saying the meal and apps were so good! We have been to weddings in the past that the food was terrible. That's not the case here! The quality & quantity were perfect!! 5 Stars to The Oaks all around! My husband and I had an unforgettable experience and the final product surpassed my "dream wedding"! We are based out of Denver, CO but Tracey managed to help create and orchestrate the perfect event.

It ended up raining all weekend but in all honesty, it didn't matter.
We had a lovely ceremony in our "Plan B" location - inside looking out on the waterfront.
As this was a day-of decision, Tracey and our florist arranged a beautiful setup and even managed to cover the "EXIT" sign at the last minute with a floral arrangement. TOP NOTCH!

The reception was THE MOST FUN I'VE EVER HAD. The food was delicious - passed hor d'oeuvres and the crab cake/steak entree duet were not only tasty but also beautifully displayed. We danced the night away and finished the night with a sparkler finale. The best part though, was once we walked down the aisle, we and our parents did not have to lift a finger. Tracey and her staff took care of everything and made sure that we were always where we needed to be!

Our daughter was married at The Oaks on April 12, 2014. It was a perfect day. Everyone we dealt with during the planning was professional, helpful, and friendly. The staff, especially the wedding planner/manager, Tracey, and the chef did a great job to ensure that our daughter and her husband had the wedding of their dreams. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the hotel rooms at the Inn were spacious and comfortable. We have no complaints at all and we couldn't have been happier. If you want a perfect wedding, with fabulous food and service in a beautiful waterfront setting, The Oaks is the perfect venue.

We narrowed down our wedding venues to 7 options, saving the Oaks for last because we fell in love with it just looking at the pictures online. Once we arrived, the entire wedding flashed before me and my now husband's eyes! We could picture everything, and we had not even stepped inside yet! Tracey took us on an extensive tour. My dad summed it up when he said, "Done. Let's book it!" We booked with the Oaks that day. Tracey and her team were PHENOMENAL! She answered all emails and calls and is extremely detail orientated. I was so nervous about the food because I have Celiac Disease, and I kept stressing how everything had to be gluten free. When we went for the tasting, we were BLOWN AWAY! Nobody could believe that the entire meal (crabcakes, breads, everything!) was gluten free! The chef came out to explain all the kitchen precautions they took preparing the tasting and what they will do on the wedding day. They were so knowledgeable! Not only did they prepare a completely gluten free spread, but they dealt with vegans, vegetarians, soy-free, dairy-free, and several other food allergies. All of my guests were raving about the food! When I told them everything was gluten free, no one believed me! You can absolutely rest assured that Tracey and her team can handle anything you throw their way! Everyone at the Oaks always had a smile on their face and was willing to help in any way possible! The entire weekend of July 20, 2013 was flawless. She is the sweetest person, and truly wants every bride to be worry free on her wedding weekend! I just can't say enough about how the Oaks team made my dreams come to life. I would absolutely hands down recommend the Oaks to anyone who wants a worry free dream wedding weekend! The property is beautiful at any time of the year (I would know because I stopped by in all seasons, in all weather), and the Oaks team is the best in the business! Many, many, many thanks to Tracey, Joanna, and the rest of the Oaks team!

Our daughter lives in NYC, but she fell in love with The Oaks when looking for wedding venues closer to her hometown in Maryland. From our first visit to the actual wedding day, the owners, the wedding coordinator, and the staff did all they could to make us feel welcome and "at home." Tracey (the on-site wedding coordinator) provided a calming presence to ensure everything and everyone were in place and taken care of throughout the planning stages, wedding, and reception. Both family and friends have said the food was the best ever served at the many weddings they have attended (we had the crab cake and flank steak pairing). As an alternative to the traditional wedding cake, they also offer a fantastic dessert bar with two-tier cake for cutting, also made on the premises. Although most pictures online are shot during spring and summer, our late autumn date with bare trees and mist off the water provided a fairytale-like atmosphere for the ceremony on the covered dock. So, do not be hesitant to book off-peak season when a certain serenity pervades the area. The complimentary shuttle service to local inns and hotels before and after the event was enjoyed by everyone who spent the weekend. Having the entire inn for our private use from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning is what truly set The Oaks apart, turning a 5 hour reception into a relaxed weekend wedding event.

Once we arrived to The Oaks we instantly fell in love with everything it had to offer. We knew this was where we wanted to get married. Everyone was extremely polite, thoughtful, professional, and truly a pleasure to work with. Being as busy as I imagine Tracey and team were, they were never to busy to help and support my husband and I. In fact a couple weeks before the wedding our family decided to invite 24 additional guests, which was after we had finalized the plans. As I panicked and called Tracey for guidance and help (without batting an eye) she responded with "no worries, we will make it happen". This was just one instance of how accommodating Tracey and The Inn were. I really don't think everything would have gone as smooth without her support.
For the setting, my husband and I wanted our guests to enjoy the atmosphere and be able to explore the area with ease. The Oaks gave us tips and helpful hints on what to tell our guests and where to have them go as well as a preferred list of vendors to make the planning as easy as possible. We encouraged our guests to stay for the entire weekend which most did. We did the crab feast for our rehearsal dinner which was a huge hit and probably the best crabs we've had. Which brings me to reviewing the dinner for the wedding night. We went with the cake and steak and it was delicious!!! We had comments on how great the food was and we couldn't have agreed more.
As a bonus, we ended up doing the fireworks...and it was actually on a rainy night!! Tracey worked her magic though...for a short time while the rain broke, she made it happen!! The guests were in a pleasant disbelief while watching the show and for the entire event. Several guests mentioned they would love to go back to The Oaks for a weekend of fun as will my husband and I. If I could give more stars I would and I HIGHLY recommend The Oaks for your wedding venue!!!

My wedding party and I all arrived on the Thursday before my Saturday wedding. We came in early to allow ourselves some downtime and bonding before the big day. We had an absolute blast! We spent time canoeing, bike riding, went into town for happy hour, relaxed on the boat dock and in the Adirondack chairs out back. It rained the morning of the wedding and we didn't end up making the final call of where to have the ceremony until 1pm (5pm ceremony) because the rain was off and on. The staff there is overly accommodating; Tracey suggested waiting to decide where to have the ceremony because of the weather. I don’t think any other venue would be that flexible. All my bridesmaids were dumbfounded that I was completely stress free and relaxed the entire time. Nothing went wrong, everything was perfect and people are still talking about how great the wedding was. Easily the wedding of the year and to this day I can't understand how people think weddings are stressful. I recommend the Oaks without reservation. I highly recommend using their approved vendors, they are truly the dream team, have been working together for years and it shows. Best weekend ever, I couldn't have had more fun!

There really isn't a bad thing to say about The Oaks. From the second we stepped foot on the property, to the second we met Candy, Tracey, and Joanna, we knew this would be the venue for us. The beauty of the venue goes without saying, so I'd like to speak about the wonderful staff that own and work at The Oaks. When we went to tour the venue, it was early spring, we were greeted with warm brownies and hot apple cider - homemade! More importantly, we were greeted with smiles. Although The Oaks is an extremely popular venue, the staff truly know how to make you feel like it is all yours. We had both our Rehearsal dinner & Wedding there, and The Oaks literally took care of everything! The food was awesome, the service was great, and everything (gifts, cards, decorations, etc) was neatly packed up for us. We literally did not have to worry about a thing. Joanna is responsive, organized, and professional. Tracey is the best coordinator anyone could ask for. She is friendly and flexible, and boy does she get the job done! She's got an edge which works perfect because it keeps your special event/day flowing smooth as can be. It is clear the owners and staff of The Oaks truly love what they do, and take pride in their wonderful establishment. As many others have said, our guests can not stop talking about how beautiful everything was, and that it was one of the best weddings they had been to. One more big thanks to The Oaks for all they did for us and our family and friends during the most special weekend of our lives, to date, THANKS!

My wedding at the Oaks was amazing! We got tons of compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding they had even been to. The venue is beautiful and everyone is friendly and very helpful/ responsive. The food is also delicious... best food I've had at a wedding and I'm not just saying that because it was my own!

The Oaks was absolutely wonderful, and I can't imagine having my wedding anywhere else! The space is stunning, the food was amazing, and people are still telling me how smoothly the day went and how much fun they had! Tracey was wonderful to work with and The Oaks overall was very accomodating. And they know what they are doing! If there were any bumps that day, I didn't hear about (which is awesome--stress-free!) and we had an amazing raw bar and late night sliders which were big hits! I highly recommend The Oaks - they really went above and beyond and the service is really top-notch.

I honestly don't know where to start in reviewing The Oaks. We absolutely LOVED every moment of our wedding there!

First, Tracey George who is the General Manager there is fantastic to work with. Our wedding coordinator kept in close contact with her and both ensured our day turned out perfect. The venue is a perfect setting for anyone looking for a very a quaint, beautiful, and private Eastern Shore wedding. I feel in love with the wood floors and rustic white chandeliers there the moment I saw the venue. And the view is breathtaking.

We had our wedding out on The Point by the water and lucked out on gorgeous weather. Then, we had the opportunity to come into our cocktail hour by boat, which was nothing short of amazing. And we worked with The Oaks to provide our guests with a full blown fireworks display! That made all of our guests jaws drop.

The food at The Oaks is absolutely amazing. Often, I've been to weddings where the food is good but nothing to write home about. We have had so many of guests tell us not only was it one of the best meals they've had at a wedding, it was one of the best meals they have EVER had. We went with flank steak (which cut like a filet is was so tender) and crab cakes in an oyster sauce. We also had a late night snack of mini-cheeseburgers which were gone faster than they appeared and a full dessert bar.

The Oaks staff gave us a truly magical wedding weekend and we can't wait to go back there for our one year anniversary!

Amazing. Tracey is the most professional, qualified wedding coordinator I have ever met. The entire staff was professional, prompt, helpful... All of my guests enjoyed the food, the decor, the drinks, etc. I was treated like a princess... it was the most wonderful day of my life. I didn't lift a finger all day. My mom, grandmother, bridesmaids, husband, etc.. no one had to lift a finger. They took care of EVERYTHING. After the wedding, all of our gifts, extra food and cake were already in our cottage.

We had our wedding at The Oaks this past weekend and I can't say enough positive things about the venue and the staff! Our day was flawless. If you are looking to get married on the water, there is no place more beautiful. Our guests couldn't believe how beautiful everything was. We had our ceremony on the point and our cocktail hour on the lawn and covered dock. The reception was in the ballroom which has full window views of the water. It is breathtaking. Tracey, the event coordinator that comes with the venue was fantastic. I did not have to worry about a thing all day which allowed me to enjoy every moment of our wedding. She also set up all the decorations better than I could have imagined. She captured my vision and improved upon it. They also set the bride, groom and parents up with an attendant. We had Karla and she was amazing. She made sure we had food and drinks all night and attended to our every need. When we got back to the cottage we had appetizers and cupcakes waiting for us. It is truly the perfect venue!

Our wedding at The Oaks was perfect in every way! The venue itself is just stunning - a beautiful and intimate setting. We also loved the added appeal of having the entire Inn to ourselves for the whole weekend. This allowed us to spend extra time with family and friends who we don't otherwise get to see that often. It also ensured that the day of the wedding, it was just our guests that were around for the "big show."
In addition to the lovely venue, the staff was also a pleasure to work with. Nicole, the Event Coordinator, was really helpful and very responsive to all emails we sent. She helped us with everything from beginning to end - starting with recommending vendors all the way through to ensuring that everything the day of was executed flawlessly. Candy was also a pleasure to work with - always offering her help throughout our stay and with various tasks the day of (tying chair bows/etc). In addition, I cannot say enough good things about Carla and the rest of the service team. I felt like Carla was our own little personal assistant during Rehearsal and the Wedding. Everywhere I turned, there she was to the rescue! From making our dinner plates during rehearsal so we could mingle, to carrying my huge train around during pictures, to making sure we knew exactly where we needed to be and when...she was simply amazing! I had no idea that this kind of personal service even existed for a wedding and cannot say enough great things about it. It really does help take the "little stresses" away to ensure that you can enjoy your big day to the fullest. All of the staff were truly exceptional.
And of course, let's not leave out Marcus and the rest of the culinary team. I don't even know where to start with the food. Heavenly. Every single meal we had was absolutely delicious. But words cannot describe how I felt about our Wedding Menu - everything was to die for! All of our guests raved about the food - which is always a good thing. We even had several vegetarian guests who all mentioned how great their meal was - as they're often disappointed with a "bland pasta" and this was certainly not the case. People are still sending us messages about how fabulous the food was - rightfully so.
All in all, our wedding could not have been any more perfect! The Oaks definitely distinguishes itself from the others with their lovely, intimate setting and attention to detail and personal service. Many thanks to their entire staff!

From the little details to working with us to fit in a rehearsal for a Sunday wedding on a weekend that was booked for their venue, The Oaks is a great place to hold a wedding! The food was incredible and the staff there could not have been nicer! Nicole, the wedding coordinator is very responsive to the wedding party's needs and the faiclity is clean and beautiful! We highly recommend having your wedding at The Oaks!

I can not believe how perfect our wedding was at the Oaks. Nicole was extremely helpful and responsive during my 14 months of planning and perfectly managed every moment of our wedding weekend. Our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception were all held at the Oaks; every aspect of each event was impeccable and perfectly organized. My husband would like to give a special shout out to Nicole and Carla for taking such good care of us on our wedding day - they made us feel like William and Kate :) All of our guests have been raving about how beautiful everything was, how fantastic the food was, and how well everything was executed. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our wedding PERFECT!

From the minute we stepped on the property we knew this was the place. The Oaks has such charm and personality and a staff that can't be beat. Nicole, the wedding coordinator for The Oaks, truly made our wedding the most memorable day of our lives. She tended to every detail and made sure that everything was executed flawlessly. From day one she was there to answer any questions we might have and to guide us through the process. On top of that, she was a complete pleasure to work with.

The chefs, Marcus and Paul, really outdid themselves. From our crab feast rehearsal dinner on the dock to the late night snacks of mac and cheese and reubens, EVERYONE was raving about the food.

If we were starting over today and planning our wedding, we would without a doubt select The Oaks again. It's a magical venue. And we wouldn't be surprised if some of our currently single friends get married there in the future -- everyone was in love with The Oaks!

The Oaks was the second venue we looked at on the first day we started our search for where we'd have our wedding. It was pouring rain when we pulled up, but I instantly fell in love with its 'down-home' and welcoming feel. The Oaks had everything and more on our must-have check list!

We left that day knowing we really needed to check out some other places, but ten minutes later we couldn't think of not having our wedding there and reserved our date.

We could not have made a better decision. I decided to play wedding planner and Nicole was so patient and dilligent in answering all of my numerous questions. Meg was fanstastic in handling all of our guest's reservations (and many changes), while Susan always greeted us with a smile and gladly provided very valuable insights into our upcoming wedding day. The food was simply amazing - we wish we could re-live the whole day again just to have more of the food! We didn't know that we would have the wonderful Cara as our attendant for the day and it made a tremendous difference! No need to worry about food, drinks, purse, etc because Cara was on it!

We can truly say that we got to enjoy not only our weekend stay, but our wedding. We got to take in a lot of the moments that most couples don't and even got to dance most of the night thanks to the excellent service the Oaks provided!

Our guests really are still raving about everything - the grounds, the wedding, the party, the staff, the food, the fireworks! We've even gotten thank you notes from several of our guests thanking us for inviting them!

The Oaks and its staff take tremendous pride in their work. They are constantly making improvements to the grounds which shows their commitment to their product.

If you want a take-your-breath-away, five-star service, no need to worry about anything, escape for the weekend wedding to never forget - pick the Oaks! We really wish we could get married there all over again just to experience The Oaks one more time!
