I highly recommend the Oaks

Michele at The Oaks was absolutely fantastic! She made our day run so smoothly and she was always helpful with all of our questions before the day. The Oaks made our day a complete success and I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

My Dream Wedding♥️

Let’s start with the Venue Search, looked for a couple of Venue, and The Oaks Events was like, “Love at First Sight “ The stunning gazebo, the whole ceremony area was gorgeous, the whole house was absolutely amazing, we picked the perfect day, matched with the stunning venue, the weather was perfect, not to cold, not to hot, I can’t believed how gorgeous the weather was, and of course the behind the scenes, Michelle, she was absolutely amazing, super passionate and patient, and had a lot of compliments from our guests, they are super amazed how beautiful the venue and the wedding was, they said that we picked the best venue, And it was indeed! I love everything, We...

We love The Oaks Events!!

We had our wedding at The Oaks Events in April and it was absolutely amazing!! The venue itself is such a beautiful location - tall beautiful trees and lush greenery, the ceremony area on the lake, string lights everywhere, and a large indoor reception area for dinner and dancing. Every single picture we took was gorgeous!! We also loved the guest house! So much room for brides and bridesmaids to get ready, plus an entire huge completely separated downstairs basement area for the groom and groomsmen to hang out and get ready.

We chose their "all inclusive package" which includes a wedding coordinator, florals, set up and breakdown of all decorations and MORE! Michele began working and coordinating...

We had our wedding at The Oaks Events in April and it was absolutely amazing!! The venue itself is such a beautiful location - tall beautiful trees and lush greenery, the ceremony area on the lake, string lights everywhere, and a large indoor reception area for dinner and dancing. Every single picture we took was gorgeous!! We also loved the guest house! So much room for brides and bridesmaids to get ready, plus an entire huge completely separated downstairs basement area for the groom and groomsmen to hang out and get ready.

We chose their "all inclusive package" which includes a wedding coordinator, florals, set up and breakdown of all decorations and MORE! Michele began working and coordinating with me as soon as I booked my date (almost a year in advance of my wedding) and she made sure that everything was exactly how I wanted it. She was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and through to the very end of my wedding night. All of the venue staff were professional, efficient, as well as kind. The whole wedding day ran so smooth. I am a very particular "type A" person and I usually stress about every little detail but Michele and the rest of the Oaks Events staff made sure there were no issues. I did not worry or stress about anything whatsoever on my wedding day and I don’t think that is something a lot of brides can say!!

If you are looking for a wedding venue that is not only BEAUTIFUL, but will also take care of you, and take so much stress out of planning your wedding then look no further than The Oaks Events!!

The Absolute BEST !!!

We found The Oaks Events on wedding wire and we most definitely made the right choice for our venue. Michele, Dallas and the day of wedding crew hooked ah girl up for the most beautiful wedding day We could have asked for. From decorating, coordinating day of, to making sure everything was going as planned, to helping my fiancé and I if questions were needed to be asked, to providing less stress to a bride such as myself and having a all inclusive package deal (cake, DJ, flowers, ceremony, reception, bar tender, all rental tables & chairs to etc) was everything and more!! The venue has a beautiful gazebo with a lake view to die for where the ceremony...

The bridal suite and grooms suite was In the house on the same property with upstairs and down stairs to separate the too. Very spacious !! You can’t go wrong with choosing The Oaks Events for your wedding or any sort of special occasion. I promise you will be highly satisfied!!!

Beautiful with Elegant Charm

An amazing venue

Booking a venue for our wedding was one of the hardest decisions my husband and I made. It decides everything else. We're forever grateful we chose The Oaks. The staff here not only provided everything from the centerpieces, tables, chairs and signage to the day-of drink mixers to the bartenders themselves but also made themselves available for multiple venue visits throughout the year beforehand. The Oaks promptly answered any questions we had and just, generally, made us feel at ease with everything. Aside from the attention to you, the venue is stunning. If I could do one thing over again, it would be booking this venue.

Wonderful wedding venue!

The Oaks Events and staff made our daughter’s wedding weekend an extremely beautiful, fun and stress free event, and Michele Boyd was super to deal with. She provided excellent service throughout the process. She and her staff handled all the setup and take down flawlessly, the residential accommodations were nicely furnished, the downstairs had a great entertainment area, and the reception hall was gorgeous for our evening wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue!

Michele, Dallas, and everyone at the Oaks work endlessly to make your wedding exactly what you want. They had a smile on their face every time I saw them, and I know they were tired. They had so much to offer when planning, with a great list of vendor recommendations that they know do great work. They have most of the décor and signs you could want on sight, but are willing to do whatever needed to make the venue...

Michele, Dallas, and everyone at the Oaks work endlessly to make your wedding exactly what you want. They had a smile on their face every time I saw them, and I know they were tired. They have most of the décor and signs you could want on sight, but are willing to do whatever needed to make the venue look perfect for each couple.
Having the house to stay at, have the rehearsal dinner at, and never have to leave the property was wonderful. There was lots to do with a pool table, foosball table, two fire pits, lots of back porch seating overlooking the pond, and plenty more. They made it a stress free experience, as they had any issues solved (which there were very few) before we even knew it existed.
The venue is perfect, from the perfectly green grass, to the flowers blooming everywhere, to the beautiful décor, to the ceremony area down by the pond. I cannot wait to see how stunning our photos will be because of all the great photo locations. The reception area was great, and they are making it better and better. So many of our guests specifically mentioned how beautiful the entire property was. I could say so many more great things, we could not be happier with our choice!

I found this venue incidentally...or should I say by fate. It is perfect in every way possible...the view is captivating, relaxing and it shows through no matter the décor. It's the perfect place for the outdoorsy couple that likes a little glamour..a little rough and tough mixed with the warmth of nature at its best. Michelle and her team are top notch: they don't set cookie-cutter rules and are not afraid to get their hands dirty to make your day special. We has our semi-big, traditional Indian wedding at this place and not once did I feel odd or out of place. From day one to the day, everything was a smooth transition...so much so that I kept waiting...

The oaks venue is a beautiful place and it was everything I could have ever imaged and wanted for the biggest day of my life. The coordinators there stacy, michele, and Sarah were phenomena! They were there to answer every one of my thousands questions and worked directly with me to make sure every detail was carried out from me walking down to say "I do" to the overall layout of the reception. It was the hard work and dedication that allowed me to be worry free on my big day. My husband and I loved everything about this venue the scenery is breathtaking and we got so many compliments on how amazing everything was. If I could do...

The Oaks Events provided me with my dream wedding venue. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly, the amenities were very helpful and the communication with Michele prior to the wedding helped us plant details so much smoother. We were able to stay at the venue overnight Friday and Saturday which was so helpful since we had a handful of out of town bridal party members. Michel and her team really brought my vision to life with setting up the decor pieces and setting up the reception space. Being able to use our own vendors also helped us keep the cost affordable to us. Definitely recommend using The Oaks for your wedding or event!

The Oaks Events is a gorgeous venue operated by a very friendly team. They were helpful, accommodating, and ensured that my day went smoothly. You get quite a bit for your money which is always nice as well as they provide much of the decor. They want you to have everything you want and they truly want your day to be perfect. We purchased the weekend package and it was great to spend time at the house with friends - I would highly recommend this. The Oaks also did my flowers which turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined.

The Oaks Events is a gorgeous venue operated by a very friendly team. They were helpful, accommodating, and ensured that my day went smoothly. It would have been nice to be occasionally checked-in on or followed-up with a little more often to confirm things with me. I also did not get a follow-up email after the wedding. There were times that we were told we could do certain things, and then we would be told later that we can't. These and other small things put together just made it feel a little disorganized at times.

Overall however, I would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed working with Michelle and her husband for our event. We did have a few hiccups with Mother Nature, but Michelle reassured us that everything would be okay. She allowed us To use what we could on site which helped us tremendously.

The Oaks - Don’t Recommend

The venue itself is beautiful, but in hindsight, I would’ve chosen differently. They were very responsive until we confirmed with our deposit, after that is a different story. Multiple emails went without a response and for the few follow up meetings at the venue, the owner was late. In addition, we had major concerns about the heating in the pavilion (our D.J. had told us about another wedding there where everyone was freezing), but we were assured that it had been fixed and that the pavilion would be warm. Fast forward to our wedding day, Michelle was behind the bar and I went to ask her if it was possible for the heaters to be turned up, because it...

Fast forward to our wedding day, Michelle was behind the bar and I went to ask her if it was possible for the heaters to be turned up, because it was definitely chilly, and the snippy response I got was “What do you expect having your wedding in December?” Never mind that it was still November and that Michelle herself had assured us multiple times that the space heaters they provided would be enough. Our guests spent the evening huddled around the two space heaters they provided (one of which went out during our reception). If I had known, I would have gladly paid extra for additional heaters, but that wasn’t even given as an option to us. If you book this venue, just hope the weather is perfect.
