The Nest on Swan River Reviews

The Nest on Swan River is owned/operated by a husband & wife. It is an absolutely beautiful place with breathtaking views, especially in the early morning and at sunset. It consists of several cabins on the property that were clean & available as guests arrived throughout the week for the wedding on Saturday The owners were pleasant & accommodating and always available if a question/concern cane up. There was ample space for my Grandchildren to play. And did I mention the view of the river from the decks of the cabins and the turkeys & deer that visited daily? Truly an amazing place for a wedding or vacation. I did not want to leave.

We had our reception here in June 2022, what a beautiful spot! It’s magical, tucked close to the river, with trees, grass, a covering, room to dance, enjoy dinner, play cornhole.
Lots of guests agreed it was a hidden gem. The sunset was amazing, with orange and pink over the river. Simple enough to find, no concerns with parking out of the way, easy for vendors to setup. We had tents in case it rained, it didn’t (Pam used her superpowers). Pam was very accommodating and easy to work with, she’s so friendly and a good energy. Our reception truly was amazing, this venue is perfect - one visit and you’ll see why!

This Venue was perfect for a wedding party to really bond for a few days before the wedding. the accommodations were excellent and the location is amazing. It is the perfect venue to return to and celebrate a special anniversary down the road.

We cannot say enough about The Nest, Pam, and how amazing our wedding was. Pam and her husband were so kind and generous, they invited us out to tour the property and gave us the full experience even though we wanted a small and intimate wedding. They treated us like family and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our day. When it started raining, we found towels and umbrellas for our outdoor ceremony just in case. We dream about going back one day! Thank you so much for everything, it was our tiny wedding dream come true. We loved every bit of it, as did our family who stayed and enjoyed the property.

We stayed at The Nest on Swan River for the week surrounding our son’s wedding. It was a perfect spot to host the Welcome Party for over 100 family and friends as well as a great location to relax and unwind before and after the wedding. Pam and Mike are spectacular hosts and work tirelessly to make sure all your questions are answered and needs are met.

The perfect wedding weekend! It couldn’t have turned out any better! The venue and grounds were beautiful. The accommodations were perfect for our whole family. Pam and her husband Mike really made us feel like the place was ours for the weekend. Everyone in attendance can’t stop talking about how perfect it was!

Mike and Pam were so hospitable, kind, easy to work with and worked so hard to make our daughter's wedding wonderful -- even in COVID times. The venue is awesome, very casual but stunningly beautiful. People had lots of room to spread out and enjoy the lovely setting. Our dinner in gathering room was lovely, and the cocktail hour and dancing in the pavilion area were great. The outdoor ceremony on the banks for the Swan River, with an arch made by Mike from Flathead Lake driftwood couldn't have been any nice. The accommodations in the and the Inn were also super. It turned out to be a perfect spot for a perfect day. Thank you to the Nest!

My husband and I got married during COVID-19, while wedding planning isn't already stressful enough, we were in such amazing hands at the Nest. Pamela and Michael are so attentive and easy to communicate with during the whole process. We just celebrated our wedding 2 weeks ago!
The venue itself is dropped dead gorgeous. The natural greens and being on the river near the mountains was breath
taking for photos. The whole area provides a great flow from the ceremony to the reception.
The venue houses approx 30 guests and it was so wonderful to have all our bridal party, plus significant others, stay with us and enjoy the whole weekend.
Pamela and Michael were amazing and so supportive. If you can think of it, they already had it covered. They were always around if we needed anything and worked well with our wedding planner. It was truly our dream come true wedding, even in the midst of COVID, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

I helped my brother and his fiancé plan their wedding at The Nest this September. Mike and Pam were amazingly helpful throughout the whole process. The venue was beautiful from the bridal suite, the ceremony area to the reception space. All the rooms on the property also made it great for out of town guests. Thank you Mike & Pam!

We recently were married at The Nest on Swan River in Bigfork, Montana. It was a beautiful resort for our quaint, intimate wedding. Pam and Mike were awesome hosts who went out of their way to make everything perfect for us. Our family and friends were very comfortable in the cabins and The Inn. All were decorated beautifully and all were equipped with everything and anything you could need. The accommodations were only matched by the picturesque scenery surrounding the property, especially down by the river. it was truly a magical wedding!

We cannot say enough about Pam & Mike. From the beginning of our planning, they made us feel totally welcome and continued to worked with us to make our day perfect. The campus and grounds are pristine, the natural backdrop is pure magic. The cabins are gigantic and easily fit large families and groups, Mike is constantly working on improvements and additions to make the venue even better. We also loved working with Janis as the venue coordinator, her knowledge of the bar service and the venue amenities helped us to execute our setup and event flawlessly. Throughout the entire process, everyone made us feel like we had no worries and everything was thought of and we left feeling like we made life-long friends. Working with Pam and Mike was wonderful! Their property is beautiful, and they had just finished renovating which made it that much better! They were helpful, easy to work with, and nice as can be! At the end of the night Pam was nice enough even to clean up for us without us even noticing, something this tired and pregnant bride was very grateful for! They were always on top of responding to any questions or concerns I had and made the whole event smooth and enjoyable.

I grew up near this property and had never been able to visit until it was purchased by the Roessmann family. It is beautiful and a larger property than I expected. The hosts are wonderful people and very accommodating.

My husband and I got married here this past September. It was absolutely perfect in every way! The scenery, accommodations, and all around beauty of the venue was amazing!
