We booked our Anniversary Party at The Mora Farm, and we could not have been more pleased with how things went. We received multiple compliments throughout the evening from guests. Jim, Teresa, and Vivian were great to work with, including recommendations for our food vendor. Both Jim and Teresa were present during our party, in case anything needed to be addressed. But everything was as expected. And the grounds were lovely, providing for lots of picture-taking opportunities. The day was warm but the air conditioning in the Barn worked great! Everyone was comfortable, even with all of the dancing going on. We would definitely consider booking another event at The Mora Farm!

Our wedding was canceled due to the pandemic but with new openings in the state we hurried to find a venue that accommodated to the states mandates. We literally planned our wedding in 2 weeks. Nicole and everyone at Mora Farm worked around the clock to ensure our wedding was amazing! We are SOO thankful on how Nicole was able to work tirelessly with my vendors to ensure everything would run smoothly in such a short period of time. I can’t thank everyone enough at The Mora Farm for working so hard on our wedding day to ensure it perfect. Jamie and Teresa treated us like family. My husband and I were so thankful to be blessed to have found a the perfect venue for our wedding. We could not be more grateful to Jaime and Teresa for everything. This venue was our first decision we made for the wedding, and by far the easiest and definitely the best one. Mora is already just a gorgeous setting, but Jim has fixed it up and shined it to a perfect finish. The barn is breathtaking, with the high ceilings, chandeliers in the rafters and the loft - could not be prettier. The getting ready area in the home is just beautiful and so picturesque, and honestly everywhere you look is a photo-worthy opportunity. We had a DOWNPOUR during the whole day of our wedding, and Jaime, Teresa, and their son all worked together with our team of wedding coordinators (Events DNA, also a recommendation from Jaime that we could not have done without) to make sure our guests were comfortable and dry. The bathrooms were the best I've ever seen for a farm wedding setting, and every corner of the farm is just beautiful. We didn't even end up getting to use the grounds sue to the rain, and I still feel like we got our money's worth. Also, the venue is BYOB. HUGE PLUS. You won't regret throwing an event at Mora Farm.

We have known Jim for a few years and Mora was my number one pick for our venue. It was absolutely everything we could have asked for. Jim has done such a fantastic job landscaping and setting up the venue that we hardly needed to decorate ourselves. We heard time and time again how gorgeous and unique our venue was. Thank you Mora for hosting our wedding.

The Farm is absolute beautiful &Immaculate. Jim Mora and his staff are so help and friendly. Whatever questions I had not only did Jim answer but he made sure I wasn't worried and tried to assure me the day would be beautiful. My husband and I knew that we wanted to have our wedding somewhere where we felt the most comfortable. I grew up in a farming family, so the second we stepped onto The Mora Farm, we felt at home. Jim, his wife, and staff (bartenders, reception and parking help) are wonderful, kind, genuine people. Their farm is breathtaking, and even though our wedding day was cold, they helped make sure everyone stayed warm and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding here. The price was fantastic, and we would happily host future events here!

Even though the Mora Farm is far from the city, we loved getting to have our wedding there. The grounds are beautiful, and the rustic-chic rainout space was key (we unfortunately had to make use of it). Jim was very willing to work with us to make the day run smoothly. I will say it was a bit confusing about how they run the bar (you have to use their bartenders, but they don’t accept bar supplies brought by the caterer). And it would have made life way easier if they had let us decorate the day before the wedding (we were married on a Friday and no one was using the space for a wedding on Thursday). But overall the grounds, facilities and staff made our experience well worth it. Our guests still tell us how beautiful our wedding was!

My husband and I got married at the Mora Farm over 1 year ago. Since then, their prices have doubled it seems and it was not worth what we paid. Yes it is a beautiful location, however all of the stipulations and lack of amenities was not worth it at all. We were not allowed to set up the night before, or bring any items the day before. We weren't allowed to set up until 10am the day of (unless we wanted to pay extra). We weren't allowed into the Bridal/Groom suite until 3pm, with the ceremony at 5pm. If we wanted water available to our guests it was going to cost roughly $100 (and each additional refill would be another $100). We brought our own water bottles and ice for the drinks. During the rehearsal the owner seemed very annoyed with us. When he asked where I wanted the arch/chairs placed he seemed put off that I chose to place them at an angle in the yard since "no one ever chooses that layout". He also seemed upset that we chose an outdoor ceremony on a cloudy day (it didn't end up raining). The family lives upstairs of the bridal suite, so when I was getting ready to walk down the aisle, the couples child was just in the living room awkwardly while I waited. They also told us that they would light the fire pit and open the barn door for some air at night and neither were done. We finally got the barn door opened after begging them too, since the guests were burning up. Also be sure to ask what time the reception is to end (it didn't state it in our contact) but on the website it states until 11pm. Well at 10:30pm they told us to pack up. We had to hurriedly get all of the decorations and food out quickly. I know this all seems petty, but it made our day very stressful and we felt very unwelcome there. They were very nice when we booked and were paying them, but after that the friendliness ended. For all the extra work you have to do to get the food, drinks, ice, etc there by yourself is not worth the hassle. Go somewhere and pay extra for someone to do this for you! It will be worth it! It was way too much stress setting up and cleaning up the day of. Plus we had to drive back the next day to pick up our deposit. They also promised us 2 bartenders and we only got one. Luckily when I found out, they gave us a refund. Do your research before booking and take into consideration how much you will have to do/stress the day of! Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
