Book Tyler - You Won't Regret it!

Tyler and Melissa were absolutely incredible. Tyler was so easy to work with and our photos came out beautifully. We wanted a true-to-life color, journalistic photographer for our wedding - and that is exactly what we got. Our guests were RAVING about how awesome Tyler was, it seemed like he was everywhere at once and captured all of the important moments and more! We also worked with Tyler for our engagement photos, which I absolutely recommend as it helped ease some of the photo-awkwardness that I and my husband suffer from. We got our sneak peaks and full album back much quicker than we expected, and I can't wait to see our printed album.

The most incredible pictures you could ever imagine!

Tyler and his team at The Mill Photography provide absolutely top notch service and products! Tyler is very laid back, which made us feel so comfortable. We are not the type to love being in front of the camera but he made it so easy and low key for us (with HIGH key photos!) I never could have imagined the pictures he has given us and we will cherish them forever. I honestly feel so lucky to have found this team. We booked Tyler for an engagement shoot and for our wedding. He was very flexible about the engagement shoot as far as location, time, date, etc. We got exactly what we wanted! Then came the wedding, and he took the pictures of our dreams!!!! We have over 900 photos from our 5 hour wedding, and we have the amazing photo book that we can keep on our coffee table forever. We will always recommend The Mill Photography Studio!!

OH MY!!!!!!!!! What a find!!!

If I could give more stars to Tyler & his team I would. I chose Tyler because he was recommended by a friend who is also a photographer, and after looking through his portfolio, I knew that his style was exactly what I was looking for. Additionally, he was the most responsive vendor I had. He responds mostly within the HOUR! This is something I value tremendously. Now, on to the wedding day...not only was he amazing to work with - he's funny and professional - but also his photos were AMAZING!! He posted several photos on Facebook THAT NIGHT and several more the following Monday. They were all so incredible, everybody was amazed. When we received all of our photos, I couldn't stop looking at them. They were all so good! He is a true artist, I would pay him at least double what we did! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Photographs are all you have left after a crazy wedding!

One of the best vendors to work with at our wedding! Always on top of his work. Photos were unreal and such an important part of the memories we will keep forever . Worth every penny and cost came with two photographers. For a big wedding of 250 we were so happy he captured it all. I would hire The Mill Photography again and again in the future !!

The BEST experience I could have asked for

Tyler is a pro. The second we met, we felt comfortable and that he understood us as a couple. From there, every photo felt natural and like it showed off our dynamic perfectly. The way Tyler would find unexpected spots for photos was so cool and showed just how much expertise he has. He was open to any and all questions and we appreciated that throughout the planning process. On the day of, Tyler and his second photographer somehow intuitively knew the best moments to capture on camera. Tyler is also such a great value compared to photographers with far less experience and don't offer you all the photos taken. We used Tyler to take our family photos and he will be our go-to photographer forever. Can't say enough amazing things about Tyler. Even long after our wedding, he has been so helpful and open to requests from myself and my mother. He is truly the best.

We hired Tyler for our wedding in February. He and his assistant, Beverly, were nothing short of incredible. When I asked my husband what he'd like to say, he said - Amazing. Ninja-like. Good with kids. Prior to the big day, Tyler was super helpful and informative. He was flexible and accommodating when I had questions and requests. We ended up adding an hour to their time for the day of, and they both even showed up that day earlier than expected, and got started right away. He and Beverly were both incredibly professional and knew how to capture every moment, big and small, and corral everyone for all of the usual family wedding photos. He was also great with our ring bearer, who was 3 years old. Both Tyler and Beverly captured so many amazing moments. One of the things we loved about Tyler's photojournalistic style when we first saw his website (and pictures he took at a friend's wedding) was how he was able to find the small, heartfelt moments and capture them. Many times during our evening, he'd stop where he was and turn around quickly to capture a moment he saw happening. He and Beverly were able to capture pictures and turn them into art. We were standing in tall grass that was not pretty, and the resulting image was beautiful. They also captured the fun of our reception. My family has commented that you can see the feeling of that night in those images. Tyler also called my husband and I outside at sunset and captured one of our favorite pictures from the night. I could go on and on. He also got us a few images THE NIGHT OF THE WEDDING. It was incredible, we couldn't believe how fast he got those first images to us. How did you do it so quickly, Tyler?! He does what he calls "Monday morning pictures," where he gets you some photos the day after so you can post them on social media right away. I had so many friends saying, "How did you get your photos so fast?!" Basically, just hire Tyler and The Mill Photography Studio. You will not be disappointed.

Quite simply, hiring Tyler was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. The pictures came out absolutely stunning and he got them back to us so quickly! The next day he posted several on his Instagram page and within a week we had 100 high quality photos posted to his blog. It took him less than a month to get us back fully edited images (which were over 1000 with the help from his second photographer) and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Please do yourself a favor and hire him- you will not regret it!

You have to book Mill Photography Studio as your photographer right now. If I could give more than 5 stars I would; Tyler was literally the best decision we made for our wedding.

He was happy to work with us on our changing timeline and come to both the venue and the location where we were getting ready beforehand, which we were so thankful for and he even arrived slightly earlier to get started.

Even now a month later, we are still getting people messaging/telling us how outstanding his work is and we just received the full gallery at the beginning of this week and are in love with how well he captured the whole day. My wife and I both hate having our pictures taken and I had expressed this to Tyler beforehand; he assured us he would be with us every step of the way and we didn't even notice him throughout the day, so we were amazed by all the candid shots he managed to get off us (and he made us look great). Tyler was so focused on the details, our guests, and the overall celebration that he told the greatest story through our pictures; things that we didn't even realised he had captured showed up in our gallery and we are in love with all the pictures. In fact multiple friends of ours have said that he has taken the actual best pictures of them they have ever had done!

He will most definitely be our go-to photographer from now on and we will be recommending him to everyone who will listen. Thank you Tyler for capturing our day perfectly and the sneak peak we got when we woke up the next morning only made us feel pleased that we chose you! He really did go above & beyond and we are so blessed to have found him.

Tyler is simply amazing. A true master of his craft, and easily the best money that we spent on our wedding. We met him at a wedding expo, and were blown away by the quality of his photos. Not only are they breathtaking, but he captures the essence of the moment. He notices the smallest details, and truly captures the emotion. A bonus is his turn around time is AMAZING! We literally woke up the next morning to sample photos, and had hundreds of edited photos less than a month after the wedding.

But not only that - he is a truly a pleasure to work with. Awesome personality. Extremely responsive. Very organized, and detailed like you would not believe. He provided us with the most amazing schedule for the pre and post ceremony photos. He thought of everything, and I knew I didn't have to worry about it. And when I showed up 20 minutes late because I was having panic attacks, he just rolled with it. He got me to relax, and he managed to organize a slightly chaotic group women.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about him. If you have the extra money in your budget - hire him. He's worth every penny, and you will not be disappointed.

Tyler shot two days for us. A Hindu ceremony and our civil ceremony. He did an amazing job capturing so many moments and portraits of our friends and family. He knows how to use that camera, the Hindu ceremony was relocated at the last minute due to weather and was majorly backlit, the photos still turned out great. He and his assistant were kind, courteous and never in the way. I would absolutely recommend him to photograph your event.

We highly recommend Tyler for your wedding...truly any occasion. He took our engagement pictures in damp 50 degree weather and they turned out AMAZING! Tyler is fast at responding to any questions you may have and excellent at communicating. He arrived early on our wedding day ready to start! He has a way of photographing so you can see so much of the day you didn’t see at the time. He posted sneak peek pictures within hour of our wedding ending! His energy is off the wall..he jumps, slides and runs just to get an amazing shot. His photos are unique, high quality and beautiful. I can’t even describe how amazing Tyler is. He is incredibly nice and easy to talk to. He was personable – getting to know and making jokes with family and wedding party before the ceremony. He remembered everyone’s names, and made an effort throughout the night to capture pictures of those important people. He is well-organized – he knows what questions to ask beforehand to get everything in order. He sent me a detailed schedule of the wedding day’s pictures months ahead of time – and he even showed up an hour and a half early the day of!
During the ceremony and reception, Tyler and his assistant were everywhere (but never in the way!). He was standing on benches and kneeling on the ground, and nobody I talked to ever saw him take a break.
Finally, Tyler’s work is outstanding. The pictures are nothing short of incredible. Plus we were able to see a sneak peak of pictures that he had up online by the next day. My husband and I were able to spend the first night of our honeymoon looking through pictures – you can’t beat that.
All said, I couldn’t imagine a better experience with any other wedding photographer and highly recommend Tyler. Can I hire him to follow me around and document my every day?

Where do I start. We were getting married in Gruene and my fiance and I lived in Houston. We had never met Tyler in person until the day of our wedding and he KNOCKED.IT.OUT.OF.THE.PARK.

Our wedding was outside and on the day of it was POURING rain but it didn't phase Tyler and Tiffany in the least. He was in the mud getting shots, running around in puddles to get good angles - seriously the best attitude ever and he was SO FUN!

Tyler and Tiffany aren't just photographers, they're artists. Their photos are not your run of the mill standard wedding photos, they are fun, candid and truly capture the evening's highlights! Did I mention that he did an AWESOME sneak preview on his instagram the day after so we could continue to relive the best night ever? THANK YOU Tyler and Tiffany! Y'all were the best!!!

I've gotten to work with Tyler or his team a few times in the last 14 months and it has been a pleasure each time. Planning and prep is organized, thorough and considerate! On the wedding day, Tyler is professional, super fun and flexible when needed. For example, this last weekend- it was raining cats and dogs. Tyler was literally sitting in mud at one point because it was the best angle for his shot. He has a positive attitude and is going to do what it takes to give his clients the best! He is also timely and consistent in turn around times. As a wedding planner, my clients have particularly loved the teasers he provides right away. Those hold them over until they can get the full album! Lot's of fun and personality with Tyler... great work ethic and end product as well!

Tyler with The Mill Photography is the ultimate, dream wedding photographer! He has his whole system of how he gets the necessary pictures done without wasting your precious time on your wedding day. And, the pictures are the most gorgeous things you have ever seen. He lives up to the motto "make your friends jealous." He is also extremely professional, showing up early to make sure he captures all the pre wedding set up. He really listens and executes any special pictures you want. Plus, you get a teaser of a few pictures from your wedding posted on social media that night and a preview of 60-100 pictures within the first week. It was great not having to wait so long to get the professional pictures back. Within a month, or so, after our wedding we had 1,100 professionally touched, amazing photos from Tyler. It is impossible to pick a favorite!! Not to mention, he is super fun with his wrist band, joining the dance party to catch the best moments at the after party reception. Finally, his wife, Olivia, handles the wedding album. She is so easy to work with and made us the most gorgeous wedding keepsake. I would definitely recommend Tyler and The Mill to any bride getting married in the Austin area! Pro tip: contact him early...he books up fast!

My daughter chose The Mill Photography for her engagement and wedding photos. Tyler was great at capturing the moment! His pictures are very unique, showcasing the subjects in lots of different lighting. For an outside wedding, he was the perfect choice. Although he was at the bride's side throughout much of the day, he was wonderfully in obtrusive and she didn't feel at all self conscious. He has a great sense of humor and we had fun with him! His second shooter on the wedding day was Tiffany. She was also very talented and got some great shots of us getting hair and makeup done. She was also really fun and we all enjoyed her. Thanks for giving us a lifetime of memories in your beautiful photos!

High-quality photography was one of my top 3 priorities when planning, so I did a lot of research and interviewed 3 photographers before choosing Tyler from The Mill Photography Studio. He is a true master of moments, and even captures sweet, candid shots while looking in the other direction and shooting with his camera resting casually at his side. Very sneaky and unobtrusive! This stealthy shooting in combination with his laid back personality and humor were perfect for my husband who hates getting his photo taken. Tyler captures memories with a candid, yet artful style while also balancing with beautiful portraits. All the shots looked natural without any awkward posing. My brother-in-law (one of the groomsmen) who got married one year prior commented several times throughout the day on how great our photographer was. The Monday after our wedding, Tyler posted a “sneak peek” on FB with a few stunning shots, and less than 30 days later our final collection of photos was ready to view. Gorgeous work, wonderfully funny and easy going, and very professional! Very highly recommended!

Tyler was one of the first vendors we hired and it was a no brainer! Not only is he super talented, his enthusiasm and genuine friendliness convinced us he would be easy to work with while planning a wedding from abroad. He responds to email very quickly, works with you until you are 100% satisfied, and goes way beyond his duties (even met us once to show us around the venue when there had been a mix up and no one was there to help us!) Nearly 5 months later, we still catch ourselves looking at the pictures over and over and have yet to order any prints because it's VERY difficult to choose. Thanks to Tyler for capturing moments that we can enjoy the rest of our lives.

Tyler's style catches people when they don't know they're being photographed--which worked great for my family who generally refuses to have their picture taken. He was a blast to have around, and his photos are amazing. I'm so grateful we had him for our special day.

Selecting Tyler was easy, he’s just like us. We wanted a photographer that understood us, our flavor, our style, our silliness, etc. We met him at the Bridal Extravaganza in downtown Austin, drawing us in with his famous “make your friends jealous” line. We laughed because are always scanning our social media following our friends’ lives. I don’t know if our friends and family are jealous, but they sure are happy and think that our pictures are beautiful. Tyler’s ability to understand our venue, our personalities, and our timeline on wedding day, made our experience with him incredible. Looking at all the pictures he captured made us smile, laugh, and cry. He truly caught the most important moments perfectly. Tyler did our engagement photos and wedding photos. Both experiences were amazing. We have such a great album of photos. If you want a photographer who know only captures great photos of the bride and groom but a snap shot of the entire wedding and the reactions of all guests Tyler is the person. Our photos were colorful and captured a great party which was our goal. Tyler worked with us to make sure we got photos of all important people. For the photos after the ceremony he had a great plan to get through them quickly and not tie us up in a photo shoot all evening. We ended the wedding with photos at the Capital, my husband at first was not excited to go take more photos but after seeing them he loved how Tyler helped us end the night. They are some of our favorite photos.

Tyler with The Mill Photography is absolutely amazing! When we first meet him he was outgoing, happy and you could tell he was passionate about photography. Tyler did our engagement photos and our wedding day. He has great turn around for teaser photos of the events and we have had so many compliments on our engagement photos and teaser wedding photos. He is always responsive in a timely manner and very easy going. Tyler has an amazing eye for great shots and even though it was wet, cold and sleeting outside he caught so many amazing shots on our special day. Tyler is a lot of fun to be around and is amazing at what he does. Our day would not have been the same without him.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Tyler was recommended by a bridesmaid of mine who did her wedding, pregnancy, and infant photos with him. He has so much experience and that is what we were looking for because you can't ever get that day back and the photos are all you'll have. This was a very important vendor for us, and we are beyond happy that we chose Tyler. His pictures were breathtaking AND he was great at wrangling all the crazy family members during what could have been a stressful time getting pictures done, but his expertise made it flow seamlessly. Tyler is awesome! We had him for our engagement pictures, bridal portraits and wedding. His photos are amazing. He was very receptive to all of our requests and was helpful in figuring out locations for taking our engagement and bridal portraits. I had a special request of getting pictures with my dog for my bridals and he did that with no problem. True to his tagline, he will make your friends jealous. You won't regret hiring him.

Tyler is AMAZING!! And that's a shear understatement. From the very beginning (at our appointment) Tyler was friendly, comical, and professional. I wanted a photographer that was very easy-going, but also able to be professional enough wrangle my family in a timely manner. SUCCESS!! Both photographers on my wedding day captured the greatest of moments. As well, my photos turned out elegant, artistic, and original. I could not ask for a better company to capture the essence of my wedding. BRAVO The Mill!!

We hired Tyler to be our photographer for our wedding in March and he was wonderful! Not only was he very professional, knowledgeable and prepared, but he met with us beforehand a few times to go over the details of photos we wanted and to get a taste of our style. He is fun to work with and very easy going. The pictures look amazing!! I would highly recommend him to any bride and groom out there, he's the best in Austin!!!

Wow! Tyler at Mill Photo Studio is amazing! We met at Star Hill Ranch for my bridal portraits and again at Lakeway Resort & Spa for our wedding. The whole experience was fantastic - Tyler is fun and professional and knows how to get the job done. I appreciate his energy and hard work. And I was happily surprised to receive a sneak peek of a handful of photos the very next day! Everyone has commented on how beautiful they are and we can't wait to see the rest. I would definitely use him in the future for any photo needs. Thanks!

We hired The Mill Photography Studio for our wedding. Tyler was great. He made us feel so comfortable taking pictures. We had him take our engagement pictures before he took our wedding pictures and they came out amazing. At our wedding Tyler was awesome, he made himself part of the wedding and got amazing shots. When we took pictures with my family and friends his personality made people open up and be themselves so he was able to capture great shots. He also made sure that all the shots we wanted were taken. He got some amazing action shots at our wedding and really captured all the special moments. He also got all of our pictures to us in like 2 weeks which is absolutely amazing. I would recommend Tyler to all my friends and family. Thank you Tyler for capturing moments at my wedding so I can remember them for a lifetime.

Tyler and his assistant were AMAZING. The pictures turned out better than I could've imagined. His package included so many things that other photographers don't include for the same price. (EX. photo book and assistant photographer) He captured every moment of my special day. Tyler is such a sweet heart too. Also, he responds to emails and phone calls very quickly and is dependable. He really is so talented!

Tyler & his adorable assistant Melissa were FANTASTIC! Unfortunately we did not get the chance to meet before our special day, although you would never have known it!

Tyler really does his homework. He had us fill out a form giving him some background into both of our families & their dynamics. That way the bride & groom can control who & how they want the family photos to coordinate the day of. It makes for less stress, less drama, & 1 less thing to think about on that day!

Tyler was also great about knowing what times of day would be great for certain shots. Our wedding was outdoors, so he pretty much supplied me with a timeline for our ceremony & reception.

A few days before the wedding Tyler emailed me to let me know how excited he was to be taking shots on the venue that we had selected (Three Points Ranch, Round Mountain, TX). It is so nice & reassuring to hear that the vendors you have carefully selected for your special day are actually excited for your event. (They even emailed us a thank you to let us know what a good time they had!)

Tyler & Melissa arrived to the venue early to take a good look around & start planning what photo opportunities would happen by the time we were ready to take photos. They make a good team & make you feel comfortable in what could easily be an uncomfortable part of your special day!

I have to say that I am very blessed that Melissa was there. I needed some time to be alone before the ceremony; therefore I didn't have any family or friends handy. I was putting the finishing touches on getting ready (getting into my dress & putting on jewelry) and needed any extra hand. Melissa was there to help out & was very gracious while doing so. I will forever be grateful for having her there & creating a sweet memory for me. (She also had a run in with a cactus that night & didn't even complain...my kind of girl!)

If you just got engaged, The Mill should be the first vendor you hire for your wedding! We could not be happier with Tyler and all of his hard work he put into our pictures. We chose a package which included an engagement and bridal session in addition to the wedding night, and we have received more compliments on all of the photos. Not only is Tyler an incredibly talented photographer, he is friendly and fun and made us feel comfortable and relaxed for all pictures. Oh, and did I mention how fast this guy is? We had a sampling of our wedding pictures THE NEXT DAY! Also, after the engagement and bridal sessions, we received proofs that same week, and were amazed at the quality and the speed at which we received them. The night of the wedding Tyler was right in the middle of the action the whole night getting amazing shots of everyone having a great time and we were able to enjoy the night knowing that we had such an awesome photographer. Seriously, Austin-area brides, The Mill is the BEST personalized quality, service, and value you can get and I cannot recommend them enough!!!!

Tyler's photos are amazing and breathtaking and unique. He sees what people feel and it really shows in his photographs. He is so friendly and he shared in our excitement. He responded very quickly to all of my emails and was very receptive when I had any questions. He has experience and confidence, and his photos were beyond anything I could have ever imagined. My husband and I live in Houston, but Tyler has a client for life.

Tyler was amazing! He took fanastic photos that my husband and I will cherish forever! His photos showed all the emotions of the night! I couldnt be happier! What really sold me at first was his personality at our first meeting and the way he had tons of pictures to show me what he can do and his super fast reply to my crazy amt of emails! Tyler exceeded expectations. I knew I liked him from the beginning...what's not to like...fun, professional, easy to work with. He made my bridal portrait session exciting and comfortable. At the wedding he was there from begining to end. He captured every detail flawlessly. Tyler now has another client for life...I will definately call him to capture images for the rest of our lives together. He takes above and beyond gorgeous photos and is well worth every cent. I love Tyler!

I don't think I could have found a better photographer-- Tyler came early, stayed late, and captured every moment in beautiful detail. He responds to emails and phone calls at lightning speed, and was enormously helpful throughout the day. His photos are absolutely amazing. He's worth every penny!

Tyler and Olivia are fabulous!! Our family has used them at 2 weddings and a friend is using them next Spring! Tyler took our engagement and my bridal portraits and we have hundreds of pictures we want to frame!!
We had a few appetizer pictures the day after our wedding and We had our wedding pictures back in less than a week! I can't say enough good things about Schmitt Photography!!

Tyler and Olivia (husband and wife) are amazing! Tyler began at the salon with the girls and got some very fun pictures. Then he returned to get pictures of the guys getting ready. They just blended right in and felt like part of the party. Olivia even helped me get dressed! We have so many wonderful shots that every time I look at the album I feel like I'm there again.

The services are a bit expensive but you get copies of the cds so you can email them or make your own copies. Many photographers didn't allow that. If you have one place to splurge, do it here. You will not regret it.

I interviewed more than 15 photographers in the Austin area and Tyler was the most amazing I've ever met. I couldn't have asked for better service or quality work. He is worth every penny!
