We used the Mansfield Barn for our wedding and they were a fantastic host. It was a beautiful venue, and the staff were attentive and precise. Amanda was an excellent barn supervisor, and DJ Shawn did a great job hosting us. All of our guests had a very special time. I would definitely recommend them as a venue! -

Best choice
Me and my husband got married here April 8th and I can not speak highly enough of the staff and the whole experience. Our DJ Mike, was so helpful and flexible, he kept up with any changes and kept the wedding flowing. The barn supervisor Tomo was also so helpful and sweet. He was very accommodating to anything we wanted to do. Everyone made the experience so special and memorable for us. Grant was also amazing he answered any questions we had and was very helpful when planning the event, he also was always very fast to respond. The barn was beautiful and the day was completely perfect. -

Mansfield barn and Supersounds Entertainment provided my fiancé (now husband) and I with an amazing experience. Not only was the barn beautiful, but the staff were accommodating, patient, and very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an easy and stress free wedding experience! -

Very easy to work with and beautiful area!
Beautiful venue! The barn supervisor I believe her name was Amanda, was amazing! Our dj Shawn Chapman from supersounds made the night super easy and very fun! Jericho Tavern did a spectacular job catering our wedding as well. Highly recommend!😊 -

This was an absolutely amazing venue! Grant was amazing to work with and made everything easy. The location was great; located less then a half hour to downtown Burlington and being right off route 15 made transportation and logistics easier plus you couldn't even tell or hear anything during the actual wedding! The air conditioner was 100% necessary and we couldn't imagine being in a barn in Vermont during the summer without it! And finally the actual venue is magical! Would definitely recommend! -

The Mansfield Barn was absolutely perfect for our wedding. The space was beautiful and the AC saved us on our hot wedding day. Grant was so easy to work with and stayed in touch with us during the entire wedding planning process. Waterfront Catering Group was the preferred vendor we chose for our catering, and we were so happy with them. We couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. 10/10 would recommend!!! -

We can't say enough about our wedding experience at the Mansfield Barn! Grant went above and beyond to make sure our special day turned out great. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and made us feel at ease. The barn is air conditioned which was a huge plus on a very hot day! The ceremony outside was beautiful, and it was so nice to come into a nice cool barn for dinner and dancing! The barn has some really great lighting and decor which added a special touch!
There were 3 bathrooms upstairs so no need to keep anyone waiting. Ryan was there to help with setting up and rehearsal the day before, and the barn supervisor was there the day of the wedding to help with any needs we had! The location is very beautiful and we couldn't have been more happier with how everything went! -

Mansfield Barn is in a great location from Burlington. The barn is gorgeous - you hardly need to do any inside decorations. Grant was amazing and so helpful and responsive. The outside property has a great spot for a very peaceful ceremony. The barn provides an amazing sound system down by the ceremony spot - you should hear everything! The barn comes with a barn manager who is helpful on the day of. We used the getting ready rooms in the basement of the barn which. Grant was very flexible with allowing us time ahead of time to get in and decorate. Grant offers an Island Ice Cream Bar. We also used Grant’s DJ company and had a blast dancing the night away! I highly recommend Mansfield Barn for your wedding :) -

My fiance and I had a LONG engagement - 4 years total thanks to covid. We had to reschedule from 2020 to this year and Grant was incredibly accommodating, honoring our original pricing and remaining very responsive throughout the whole process. The barn and grounds were beautiful and the day of was smooth with an onsite manager. So happy we chose them for our venue! -

My Husband and I got married a month ago and loved The Mansfield Barn as our wedding venue! The Barn is beautiful inside and out, and Grant is a wonderful owner - he is very personable and kind, and answered any and all of our question and concerns without hesitation. The Mansfield Barn was the *perfect* place to have my rustic Vermont wedding at, and the location was very easy to get to. You also get a fantastic view of Mount Mansfield on your way there! I am so happy how everything turned out with this venue, and you won't be disappointed, either! -

Best Vendor Team
We had a great experience with the Mansfield barn to let all of my barn wedding visions come through and even helped with last minute decor. Grant was great and extremely responsive even as we scheduled our wedding date 3 times with the pandemic. The Mansfield barn has a great network of vendors that made the night run so smoothly. We received comments on how everything went according to plan and there were no issues. -

Best Wedding Venue
My husband and I got married at The Mansfield Barn on September 19, 2020 and had an amazing day with help from Ryan, Jarryd, and Grant. Ryan was the best DJ we could have ask for. He took every song request and got the party going during the reception. Jarryd was the best help we could get. He helped with setting up the chairs and helped with basically anything we needed. Grant was awesome through the whole process. We started planning our wedding a year and half in advance and Grant helped and answered all the questions I had. The whole Mansfield barn team was awesome in general and so extremely helpful even through this whole Covid crisis. My husband and I are so glad we picked the Mansfield Barn to get married at. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get married at. -

I literally cannot say enough good things about the Mansfield Barn. We were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. Grant was amazing to work with, he is so responsive and helpful throughout the planning process.
I was so happy that I decided to get ready at the barn. Less stress to get at the venue on time and the room has everything you need.
Corey, with Supersounds Entertainment, was our DJ and he was the best!! He controlled the flow of events. He made everything so smooth, went to all the guests to ask for requests and played the best music! Everyone was dancing the whole night.
Everyone did a fantastic job and we are extremely thankful!

Beautiful venue
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to tie the knot! The barn and scenery were beautiful and the staff were absolutely amazing! We’ve had multiple people come up and say it was the best wedding they’ve gone to and that the staff was so friendly and amazing. Jaryd and Hannah rocked it from Green Mt Photobooth and Dj Duane Dakin from Supersounds DJ kept the music pumping all night! I can’t wait to see what Logan from Video Memory Videographer Service was able to capture! 10/10 will definitely recommend because it is just so perfect. -

Beautiful Inside and Out!
Dream come true! The barn was gorgeous! I didn't even need to bring much decorations; just a garland for the arch and some centerpieces. They already have white tulle around the barn beams and white fairy lights as well! So simple and elegant.
I married in late September and it did rain the morning of the big day, but Mike the barn supervisor (who was so helpful and sweet) waited a couple hours before the ceremony time and saw that blue skies were coming. He wiped dry the seats and I got my outdoor ceremony like I wanted! I was so thankful and lucky! haha
Grant was awesome! He always responded in a timely fashion and answered all my questions! My husband and I got to view the barn 3 times before the wedding and it helped us get a feel of the layout for planning.
Mansfield Barn has such beautiful scenery! In late September, the leaves started to change and the arch faces a beautiful mountain landscape in the background~ Seeing all the autumn colours in the background was picturesque!
Bonus! All the couples married there have a milk tin with their names and wedding date! You can also purchase one to keep!
We got compliments on the venue all night, from the beautiful views outside to the rustic/elegant inside! I couldn't ask for anything more!

My wedding felt like a fairytale. This barn is kept so clean, it’s decorated beautifully, and it’s the perfect size for a midsized wedding. Our guests were comfortable, impressed, and happy. This was truly the most amazing day of my life. Grant Allendorf is not in the wedding business he is in the people business. He is kind, caring, and a true Vermont business owner. You will not feel as taken care of if you choose a different venue. Grant has amazing communication and will do anything to make sure the day is perfect for you. We are so over the moon we chose The Mansfield Barn. Thank you for our fairytale dream wedding! -

Oh my gosh! My husband and I got married and had our reception at The Mansfield Barn and we can not be happier! The venue is GORGEOUS for both the ceremony and reception. It has the perfect blend of country charm and modern conveniences. Also, Grant, the barn owner is AMAZING to work with! You can really tell he loves weddings and working with brides and grooms. He helped us so much during the planning process and has over 20 years in the wedding business since he also has been a DJ and works with SuperSounds Entertainment. Our barn manager, Mike, was fabulous to work with and he felt like a family member. It's also a great option for budgets because of the packages involved with SuperSounds and associated businesses. You will not be disappointed with any of the services. Mansfield Barn truly made our wedding a dream come true and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the barn and grounds were. Definitely check them out! -

Highly suggest this venue
My husband Maxwell and I (Lacey) recently had a beautiful fall wedding here on 10/7/18 and I can't tell you how pleased I am for picking this venue! Grant is the barn owner and he is the easiest person to talk to and gets back to you right away with any questions you might have (I had about a million). Grant also allowed our dogs to stay in the basement of the barn, after their role at the ceremony, which was a HUGE deal for us! Although there is not a wedding coordinator there, there is honestly no need for one. Our barn supervisor for the night was Mike, he did an amazing job making sure EVERYTHING runs smoothly. Even when the shuttle bus arrives late with half of the guests. We opted for the pinnacle package which gives you a great discount on DJ, photobooth, and video. Highly suggest this! Each service was better then expected! We had Jarryd as our photobooth tech. We received a book full of the doubles taken that night which was a complete surprise and so much fun to look over the day after your wedding. Our DJ was Duane, he played all the best music that got my guests out on the dance floor and really listed to all the details I asked him to say/do leading up to the wedding. And last but not least was Logan our videographer, he too was great! He is with the bride and groom throughout the night just as much as the photographer is, filming the best shots for the video. He was the one getting some appetizers and drinks for me and my husband if needed and informing us what to expect throughout the night.
In all we had a great wedding and the barn is exactly what you would picture for a barn-style wedding! Many of my guests are still commenting how beautiful the venue is and how amazing the pictures turned out! -

Catie Sent on 05/29/2018My husband and I were just married on memorial day weekend. We have had the venue booked since April of 2017- It was actually the only venue that we looked at in person! The price is incredible.y reasonable for the area. And because Grant also owns SuperSounds DJ company, it was easy and cheaper to package the venue and DJ together.
Throughout the entire 13 months, Grant was beyond amazing! I'm sure I've sent him dozens of emails, each with multiple questions. He was always more than happy to answer any questions and he always responded quickly.
The barn was beautiful, and because there wasn't an event the day before our wedding we were able to get set up the day before.
Our wedding was the best day of our life together, thanks in large part to Grant and the rest of the Mansfield Barn staff. I would recommend it to anyone! -

Chelsea Sent on 11/05/2017My husband and I held our wedding at the Mansfield Barn June 11th 2017.
We first met Grant, the barns owner, in February 2016. Newley engaged, we where on the hunt for a venue. We met on a bitter cold morning, and despite the weather, we bundled up and Grant walked us through the barn, and across the grounds. Depicting what would be. At the time, the barn was still under restoration, and as Grant explained what was to come, we had to envision his plan. Standing on plywood floors, with construction materials abound we knew this was the place for us.
Our wedding day has come, and gone, and It was truly a wonderful day.
The barn is absolutely beautiful and rich with history.
I feel it was restored perfectly. It’s a cozy venue, and the lighting that is provided is gorgeous!
We held our ceremony on site and the arbor built on the grounds was the perfect backdrop.
Grant is incredible. He was always available, quick to respond, and does everything he can to cater to his wedding couples to make sure they have the best experience possible.
I would highly recommend The Mansfield Barn to anyone looking for an amazing venue! -

Christy Sent on 02/12/2017My husband Cal and I got married in September 2016 at The Mansfield Barn. It’s an absolutely gorgeous place for a wedding or other event. With all brand new remodeling, this barn is up to date, but still has a traditional, rustic, barn feeling. Grant and the barn staff were excellent to work with; they were very accommodating, flexible, friendly, and trustworthy people to plan with. They made the bride and groom their priority to please.
We had the choice of doing an inside ceremony, or two different outdoor sites! Even though the barn is located off of the main road, the ceremony site had no road noise plus it had a great view of fields and Mt. Mansfield in the background. Before we decided on a venue I did a TON of research on barns around the area to get the best location and deal, and there was no question, The Mansfield Barn won us over. It had everything we were looking for in a rustic Vermont barn.
It was the most perfect place to have a wedding reception too. There was outdoor space for cocktail hour or to get fresh air during dancing. And the inside was beautiful! The beams had pretty white lights wrapped around them, which gave a nice glow and looked cool in pictures. The bar area is very spacious with a really neat sugaring arch for drinks to stay cool in. That’s also where the photo booth is located (which I highly recommend doing!) Even the bathrooms were nice! They are very elegant and spacious. There is also a large entertainment space that we used for a buffet and dancing. You could rearrange the table set up however you would like and the staff helped out tremendously with making sure everything was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect Vermont Wedding. -

Perfect air conditioned barn
We had a 100 person wedding at this venue in June and it was PERFECT! Perfect size, AC, super helpful team, Barn was clean and gorgeous!!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better place or owner!! Thank you Grant and team for making our day as least stressful as possible! -

Danara Sent on 09/08/2016We booked this venue early this year for our May 2017 wedding and Grant Allendorf was an amazing tour guide. The barn was in the middle of renovations and you really had to imagine everything in its finished form. He had a layout, pictures of the fixtures, and he had a vision. He was so thorough at describing that vision that even though we couldn't actually physically SEE the finished barn, we fell in love. We immediately decided to book the venue and because it was new they offered some AMAZING discounts. If you use the DJ Services (SuperSounds) or Photography - you get discounts on those as well! The package deal for the DJ service was the cherry on top! I've been to a few weddings where SuperSounds DJ'd the event and it was so entertaining. I would HIGHLY recommend the Mansfield Barn and we haven't even had our wedding yet! I can't wait and will updated after the wedding!
Update: We're married!
I don't have too much to update other than the day went incredibly well and Grant was there through the ceremony. We had another venue contact that stayed through the entire event. This was incredibly helpful and everything went smoothly because of it. We set up the barn the day before because there was no wedding on Saturday. The exception was the outside decorations, chairs and tables had to be set up the day of. This made sense just in case in rained and to ensure we wouldn't lose anything in the wind. I would say really the only critical thing I have - and it really isn't much... Is that the venue contact would take pictures (which is definitely understandable), but there was a few times our photographer had to move him or ask him to move to get the shots she needed of us. One additional thing to note is we had 100 guests and everything fit very well with plenty of dance floor room and enough room to move around the tables, but if you had any more than that it might get a it snug or you would need to move things around before dancing or dinner. Your wedding was amazing and I am so glad things went well!!
We definitely will stay out of any professional photographers shots and I have put out a memo to all staff to recognize that. Our capacity is 200 people and with 200 people it will get a little snug but it will work with different configuration of tables and the set up of the room. The buffet can be in a different location and having a sweetheart table vs. a head table can change things dramatically. Our average size wedding is 130-160 and is very comfortable. Over 160 will work as well but it has to be mapped out for optimum space. Thank you again!!
