From the moment we walked in the door we knew we had found our venue. The entire property is so beautiful. We could not have asked for a better day! They let us run with the vision we had for our day and customize our menu to what we wanted! Thank you so much for that. The whole staff was absolutely amazing and professional. The food was so delicious, our guests keep telling us how amazing it was!

I'm not sure where to begin, The Manor House, Suzanne and her team are top tier! Literally the best night of our lives. Our guests could not stop talking about the food, drinks & service. My husband and I were worried we would miss out on eating after hearing from friends that went unfed at their weddings. Have no fear, the team at Manor House takes care of you! Couldn't be more happy with the decision to have our wedding here, would recommend!

We couldn’t have picked a better venue! The Manor House at Commonwealth was absolutely beautiful, elegant and charming. The manor house is timeless with its beautiful renovations and old Philadelphia charm. The gardens and pond surrounding the venue are perfect for pictures. The veranda and huge sunroom were perfect for cocktail hour in the summer heat. The food was seriously the best, along with our reception area with the exposed stone accent wall. However, our favorite part about Commonwealth was the people, especially our wedding planner Suzanne. She went above and beyond at making the wedding process fun and seamless. Planning was made east, even with us living in Hawaii. She gave amazing recommendations for vendors, and genuinely cared. This venue feels much more personal than a lot of the other wedding venues we looked at. You have the beautiful property to yourselves at a very reasonable cost.

Manor House at Commonwealth is a beautiful venue!!! It has a beautiful outdoor ceremony space in the garden, a large veranda and reception hall, several sitting areas, and two bridal party suites. The outdoor spaces have so many colorful plants and gorgeous landscaping. It was really hot for our wedding day (97 degrees in July) but the ceremony space was mostly shaded by 5:30 when our ceremony started which was great. The whole day ran so smoothly and the food was delicious! We picked the Courtyard Marriott Willow Grove as the hotel for our guests which is 10 mins away and shares a parking lot with a bar for the after party which was worked out really well!

The Manor House at Commonwealth was a perfect wedding venue. The staff was accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious and plentiful. We could not be happier with this special day for our daughter. Thank you to everyone at Manor House for making it such a special day. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an exceptional place to hold a wedding.

My husband and I selected the Manor House at Commonwealth for our June wedding and we couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out. We know everyone says it but it was truly the best day ever. We actually booked the Manor House after only seeing pictures… let me tell you, it was the best decision we could have made regarding our wedding day.

The venue itself is beautiful. The restored farm house feel is homey yet elegant. The outside venue space is beautifully landscaped and perfect for pictures in any season. The restored farm house allows for there to be many places, including the incredible balcony, for guests to mingle and move throughout the night. As a bride who wanted an outdoor ceremony, I felt comfortable knowing that the ceremony could still be outside on the covered balcony space even if it rained. The upstairs suites are roomy and accommodating, also perfect for getting ready pictures.

The pricing was ideal and had many options to choose from to customize to our tastes and price points. The food was of INCREDIBLE quality and taste for a wedding venue. The ability to choose a signature drink, as well as add on items was unique and personal. We had a cheesesteak and French fry bar! Not to mention, Suzanne and the staff at the Manor House worked so smoothly and in sync with our other vendors to create an ideal experience. The staff also made tear down and the end of the night look effortless, leaving nothing to worry about for the bride and groom.

From start to finish, Suzanne C. at the Manor House was communicative, helpful, and kind. We can’t sing her praises enough. She went above and beyond to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that the day went smoothly. She was the ideal point of contact for a type A bride. We couldn’t be more grateful to her for all her help and efforts in making our day so special.

I cannot thank the folks at The Manor House at Commonwealth enough for making our special day so wonderful. Suzanne was wonderful to work with. From our first interaction to day of, I felt really good about having our wedding at the Manor House. Some of my favorite things aside from the beautiful spot:
- Having a wonderful coordinator who was always cool, calm and collected (something a nervous bride like myself desperately needed haha)
- Food was awesome -- and bonus: they made sure my partner and I were fed, even during cocktail hour while we were having our pictures taken.
- Champagne in the bridal suite
- You have 3 options for the ceremony location - two outside and one inside (which is nice so you can adjust your day of plans to account for the weather)
- The price is inclusive of so much including food, open bar, linens, etc.

Every time we drove up to the venue, I fell in love with it again and again. A family member told us to check it out and I am SO grateful that they did. From our first meeting with Suzanne to our wedding day, it was all such a wonderful experience. The venue is BEAUTIFUL. Our guests are still talking about the food. I've never been to a wedding where literally everyone's steak was cooked to their preferred temperature until ours. I could go on and on. You should absolutely get married here.

I had my wedding at the manor house in June of 2021 during covid restrictions. During the whole process Suzanne was helpful, supportive and accommodating. As a “covid” bride I had so many questions and the stress of planning a wedding and then planning a covid wedding really was difficult and they made the process seem effortless. Suzanne was always up to date with what the state required and even would recommend additional precautions that might help guests feel even better about attending an event during covid. The attention to detail of the whole team was top notch from the decorations and on. The food was great and seemed to be even better than the tasting! Suzanne went above and beyond when coordinating with vendors. I could not ask for a better team to help make my day the best ever! I would definitely recommend this venue to other brides. The venue was beautiful and the customer service was exceptional. Thank you Kelly and Suzanne and manor house staff for an amazing wedding experience.

The Manor House at Commonweath was absolutely amazing! The venue was private for just our wedding which was exactly what we wanted! Food was incredible and the service on our wedding day was off the charts! We had our wedding at The Manor House at Commonwealth and LOVED working with them! Ryan was available, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I loved that they had preferred florists, DJs, and bakers that they work with, since I have problems making decisions. I think we (and our guests) were also very impressed with the food, especially the fun French fry bar. We also went for the Philly Takeaways table for guests to take a snack home with them after the reception. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and as someone who gets very anxious about planning and making decisions, it was super easy to plan! I hope someone I know decides to get married there so I can experience it as a guest 😁

Manor House and its team (Suzanne!) were so incredibly helpful and flexible as we planned our wedding during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Suzanne was prompt to answer any questions, and always filled us in as restrictions changed. They were flexible with the payment schedule due to changing capacity restrictions. The venue interior was redone just prior to our wedding and looks great!! Their organization made everything streamlined and simple. The food is fantastic!! This Marylander gives the crab cake her seal of approval! I loved having a designated server for the bride and groom all during the reception. (Thanks Emily!) They made our night flow smoothly and we had an absolute blast. Would highly recommend!!

Our experience with the Manor House at Commonwealth was amazing! Ryan was so helpful from the beginning and was so gracious in helping us adjust our plans given all of the restrictions during the pandemic, even agreeing to host our wedding on a Thursday so we could still have our date in 2020. Kelly was great coordinating everything on the day of our ceremony and reception. We have gotten so many compliments on choosing this venue and our guests could not say enough about the delicious food. My wish for every couple planning a wedding in 2020 is that they have as enjoyable of an experience as my husband and I had with the Manor House. They made everything so easy with the wedding that we even decided to host our rehearsal dinner at their facility. I could gush about the Manor House all day, they really eased all of the stress and tension that came along the way.

Over the top happy with The Manor House at Commonwealth! The service, professionalism, and personal investment from their staff, including Suzanne and Kelly, and most especially, Ryan, was truly noticed and greatly appreciated. They were able to make our son and daughter-in-law's wedding dream come true even through this challenging pandemic time. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the team here (especially Ryan, Kelly, John and Nasia). As a COVID bride/groom, you quickly had to learn to lower your expectations and just hope for the best, IF you could even be lucky enough, and safe enough to be able to hold your wedding during a pandemic. Well our rescheduled wedding in July was BEYOND our pre-pandemic hopes and dreams, even with the pandemic and Tropical Storm Fay to deal with. Ryan was amazing, responsive, and so supportive throughout the whole planning process, and then the replanning process. Our original date was in April, about a month after the entire state shut down. Ryan quickly found us an alternative date, and we were actually the first wedding the Manor House hosted after PA moved to the Green Phase. The safety precautions they put in place helped to ease our minds, and with a reduced guest list, we proceeded with our special day. The venue is gorgeous, the food is spectacular, in quantity and quality – all of our guests raved about it. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make us comfortable and do anything they could for us. Kelly was hands on, and our decorations looked better than I had even imagined put up throughout the venue. We had warned John the bartender at an Open House the venue had hosted that our families would be a handful, and even with that he came back to bartend at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. If there was something that he didn’t have at the rehearsal, he made sure to have it on the wedding day, and remembered who it was for. We had a tropical storm to contend with on our day, and with a few tweaks we were still able to have the ceremony outside on the covered veranda. With the rain we couldn’t do too many pictures outside, but the veranda and the interior of the venue are beautiful and I know our pictures will still turn out amazing. We could not have picked a better venue and team to work with, and we are so appreciative of everything!!

Everything was great from start to finish. Suzanne was great to work with and made everything so easy. Everyone was so nice and helpful on the day of the wedding. I received many compliments from guests on how exceptional the service was. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding at the Manor House! The exposed stone, old fireplaces, high ceilings, and large windows lend the space a quaint, yet elegant vibe. We also loved the mix of indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to mingle. The veranda, sunken garden, and reception room all offered equally beautiful options for the ceremony, regardless of the weather. The veranda, while still being open, allows for beautiful views of the garden and outdoors and provides sufficient shelter from the rain (it poured during our ceremony, and we were very grateful for the sheltered, intimate setting). The venue is great for both small and large weddings--it can accommodate a couple hundred guests, but even if you have a smaller wedding like we did, the space doesn't feel too big. The food was also immensely popular and far exceeded our expectations. Guests were so impressed with the cocktail hour (particularly the quantity and variety of food) that they thought it was the dinner itself. The menu is also quite extensive and allows for a lot of customization, and the chef is willing to work with you to incorporate non-traditional menu options. The Manor House also builds late night snacks--fry bars and dessert bars, etc.--into the cost of the wedding, ensuring that guests don't go home hungry. Drinks were also tasty and plentiful! Ryan, the coordinator we worked with, was fantastic! He's very organized and thorough while still being exceptionally down-to-earth, which was very calming in the weeks leading up to our wedding and on the day itself. Ryan is also very flexible and will work with you to customize various aspects of your day (such as setting up lawn games or other personalized decor). The rest of the staff at the Manor House were all also great to work with. Staff really made the experience at the venue stress-free on the day of. Thanks to the Manor House and its wonderful team, the whole day felt like a fairy-tale.

My husband and I absolutely loved having out wedding a the Manor House at Commonwealth! We worked with Suzanne throughout most of the planning process and she was wonderful to work with, she was attentive, helpful, and patient with all of our questions. The Manor House made the planning process so easy, they touched based regularly to keep us on schedule and were able to answer any frantic email I sent their way. Our guests had nothing but fantastic things to say about our wedding reception they loved the food, the location, the drinks, and the service. Long story short (not really)....we saw a specific venue, the third one in our search, and we compared each venue after to that one. Then I made my appointment at The Manor House. It was always coming up on my searches so....

From the moment we went up to the door to the time we left, I knew that was our place. It feels elegant, classic and romantic. Reception-wise everything is included and they are really easy to work with regarding the ceremony.

But Ryan is the main reason we booked. He has given us two tours (once with just us and one with my mom AND to sign the contact). He’s very calm and casual, but extremely professional. I know he will take care of us on our day. He had set the standard for the type of people we want to work with!

Working with Suzanne throughout the planning process was awesome. She was very quick to respond to my emails, flexible when I made some changes to plans along the way, and was very timely with reaching out about next steps in the planning process. The quality of service, delicious meals, and overall professionalism was very evident on my day. Our guests keep giving us compliments about how great the day was. My husband and I absolutely loved everything about the Manor House at Commonwealth!

We are so happy we picked Commonwealth as our venue for our July 6th wedding! We were looking for a venue that had an outdoor cocktail area, provided open bar, was a historic building and that was reasonably priced and commonwealth fit the bill. Suzanne worked with us through the whole process and she was very professional, helpful, and responsive! She made everything with the venue stress free! Our guests are raving about how good the food was, especially the assortment of hors d'oeuvre, the french fry bar, and the extra living room seating for the older guests. We highly recommend this venue to any couple, even if your ceremony is 40 min away like ours. Thank you Commonwealth for an amazing evening!

My husband and I had our wedding here on June 22nd and I seriously can not say enough amazing things about this venue! Everything was absolutely perfect on the day of our wedding. We were lucky to have one of the nicest days weather-wise of the year, which made the outdoor ceremony space even more spectacular. We worked with Suzanne throughout most of the wedding planning process, and she was always extremely responsive, accommodating, professional and very easy to work with! We are currently living in Florida, so most of our planning was done long distance, and we never had an issue setting up an appointment or tasting when we were in town for a visit. The food here is simply outstanding! Almost a month after our wedding and we are still getting compliments from guests on how great the food was and how perfect and beautiful they thought our wedding was! You really can not go wrong choosing this venue, and my husband and I are so glad that we did!

Decorations I had dropped off were put up. They were very flexible and responsive. Food was excellent. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

My Daughter’s wedding take place at this place. I just expected the service and others just meet expectations. But on the event, I was so surprised with anything. It was far away above my expectations. All staffs are very friendly and nice. The foods are so great. I satisfy because all my guests are happy.

The Manor House at Commonwealth is such a hidden gem! Quality of service, food, and drinks was out of this world. Our guests are still raving about the food and the atmosphere. My daughter’s wedding was on October 6, 2018 at The Manor House at Commonwealth. I can’t even remember all of the compliments, it was that wonderful! We worked with Ryan this past year and he was great! He answered every question and put up with the bride and MOB showing up at the venue unexpectedly just to talk many times during the year. Before we chose The Manor House at Commonwealth, I read past reviews. One comment I remember reading was that “the food was delicious and there was so much!”. It is absolutely true! My guests said the exact same thing. Obviously, I cannot say enough great things about our experience. Everything was amazing! Thank you, thank you to Ryan and everyone there for giving my daughter a wedding that she described as “Everything......and more.”

We had our wedding at the Manor House at Commonwealth on 9/14/18. Every detail of the day was AMAZING. I cannot say enough good things about Ryan, our event coordinator. Ryan made the entire wedding planning process so easy and stress-free. He answered every email in a timely matter, accommodated every request, set up the entire venue with our decorations perfectly, and helped keep me calm when our shuttle of guests didn't show up on time. The ballroom was perfect. The staff was attentive throughout the entire day. The food was so delicious. All guests raved about what a wonderful time it was. I hope I can attend another wedding there in the future!

The Manor House was beyond all expectations. My husband is allergic to seafood so we decided to elimate all seafood from the appetizers. Ryan and his team gave us a plethora of substitutions that were so delicious. The team also made other accommodations for us without a blink of an eye. All our guests raved about food throughout the night. If we were to do it all over, we would absolutely choose The Manor House again.

Me and my husband had the most amazing experience having our wedding at manor. Everyone was so welcoming and overly accommodating that we didnt have to worry about a thing or lift a finger. When my husband and I were starting to look at potential wedding venues, the Manor House at the Commonwealth was our first stop, and we knew immediately it was where we wanted to have our reception. The venue is beautiful. From the ballroom to the gardens to the covered porch out back, we could so easily picture our wedding day there. Ryan, our coordinator, was wonderful to work with. Neither my husband nor I were living in Pennsylvania during the planning process, but Ryan was accommodating of our schedules when we had to make trips in person and was very responsive our email in between those trips. From our first visit to the venue to the wedding day, he and the staff there were always very professional and worked hard to make sure that everything was perfect. They made sure to understand what was important to us on our day, and made that vision into a reality.

I also have to say, the food at the Manor House is delicious. Our guests were raving about how much they enjoyed cocktail hour and the entrees. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the Manor House at Commonwealth and I cannot recommend it enough as a wedding venue!

We got married on 6.23.18 at The Manorhouse at Commonwealth and it was absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect. Suzanne was the best, she really did everything to make our day the best day ever. We received so many compliments about the food, drinks, and atmosphere. We had 180 guests at our reception and we had plenty of room- even too much room! We had a photo booth set up in the living room area and it was a perfect spot. We ended up getting married in the ballroom due to weather and it was beautiful. Everything came together exactly how we wanted it. Thank you so much for everything. 100% recommended!!!! So many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to!!

We cannot thank the Manor House staff enough for making our day absolutely perfect. Suzanne was wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding as well as the day of, along with Kelly. Any time I went to ask Kelly something during our reception, it had already been taken care of. The staff truly take care of you as well as your guests. We have received so many compliments on how nice the wait staff were. Guests were also amazed by the amount and quality of the food. They raved about the food!! The venue is beautiful with many different settings for whatever your taste may be.

I got married at the Manor House on 6/2/18. Everything from our first meeting with Ryan up until the day of our wedding was more than we could have asked for. I had such a wonderful experience at Manor House. I would highly recommend to anyone! My day could not have gone better! There were a few bumps in the day (there always are!) The Manor House was the perfect venue for my winter wedding. From the moment my fiancé and I met with Suzanne and had the chance to check out the venue, we loved it. Not only does the space have a great blend of charm and elegance, the Manor House offers many high-end amenities in their packages. There were things we would not have even thought of (free valet and coat-check, etc.), but realized what a difference each of those special details would make in our reception. Since our wedding was around the holidays, the Manor House was already decorated with beautiful holiday decor. Suzanne and her staff were so flexible in keeping some and taking some away to fit our own decor style. When we arrived to our reception, we were beyond amazed with how gorgeous everything was. The night went off with out a hitch. We didn't have to think about a single thing because the staff was so on the ball. Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious ALL of the food was, and what fabulous service staff the was. We could not have been happier with everything and everyone at the Manor House!

If I could rate higher than five stars I would. I can't say enough about the quality of service and our overall experience with the Manor House. From the very first contact with Suzanne, our event coordinator, everything was clearly communicated and we knew we were in good hands. The venue is wonderful, the food delicious, and the staff phenomenal. The employees working on the (snowy) day of our wedding went above and beyond our expectations. We were so pleased with our choice of the Manor House and recommend them very highly!

I loved working with Manor House for our wedding on Oct. 1st 2017. Back in Oct of 2016, I started talking to the coordinators there and they answered all of my questions within a couple of days. During the year, the people I developed relationships with either left or went on maturity leave but because everyone knows the details of every wedding there, the movement between coordinators was seamless! There was never a moment I felt like our wedding would be forgotten or some aspect would fall through the cracks. And they never batted an eye when my husband and I dropped off picture frames and photo books last minute as we were arriving an hour before cocktail hour for our formal pictures. They collected them from our arms and put them out beautifully.

I would recommend this place to anyone who would like an easy and smooth planning process. All my guests told me how beautiful the place was and how everything went so smoothly. My mom (who hadn’t even seen the place in person) was blown away with it.

Our wedding was truly everything I could have imagined. The food was incredible, the venue is so beautiful and we got lucky with perfect weather. All the staff were extremely helpful and responsive. The only thing I would have changed is the god-awful chairs that come standard with each wedding package. We paid extra for gold chivari chairs and it made such a HUGE difference in the aesthetic of the room. This place is the perfect combination of charming, intimate and elegant. It doesn't feel like a standard "wedding factory" type of venue. If you have a wedding here, make sure you tell your DJ or band to announce that dessert is served. They set up the dessert table in a separate room that was super easy to find since you pass it on the way to the bathroom, however I think a few guests missed it because it wasn't in the same room. If you are having a September wedding, a 5:30 ceremony time is PERFECT if you want to have that golden glow in your pictures after the ceremony. I couldn't have planned it better. A comment we have heard from all of the guests we have spoken to is the amount of food and the quality of the food The Manor House provided. It was truly the best value as far as food packages go. Also, the macadamia nut crusted chicken is incredible! I can't say enough about how amazing my wedding day was. Don't pass this place up if you're searching for a wedding venue.

The venue is just beautiful; but you'll see that for yourself when you visit! The service was beyond exceptional! From the moment I met my event coordinator, she filled me with confidence that she knew what she was doing and I didn't need to worry. Throughout the process, she was very responsive, responding to my e-mails promptly and with the utmost professionalism (even when I asked her outrageous questions!). The wedding day went smoothly. All of the staff were not just pleasant but friendly and seemed to be enjoying their work, many of my family members even commented on this. My husband and I had our own personal server to make sure we had hors dourves during cocktail hour and beverages all day (she even stashed some of our signature cocktail to make sure we had some all night long). We had a wonderful experience with the Manor House and could not imagine anything being different!

Our wedding ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful at The Manor House. Our ceremony was outside in their gorgeous gardens, with the cocktail hour on the upper veranda and side room and the reception in the ballroom. Guests marveled at all the food and drink choices and how delicious it all was. Suzanne was so helpful in getting everything just right - and all the staff were extremely attentive. Those few friends who asked couldn't believe how much we paid, for all we received. I highly recommend The Manor House!

We had our wedding there this summer. We have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Suzanne was responsive and helpful from start to finish! We can't thank her enough for all of her helping leading up to and on the wedding day. Wait staff was amazing, food was to die for - we recieved several compliments since the wedding on how delicious it was! The venue was beautiful. Thank you for everything!

My husband and I discovered the Manor House by accident, but it was the best thing that happened to us! After touring the beautiful venue with Suzanne, the Catering Sales Manager, we knew the intimate layout, the modern rustic look, and the beautifully gardened grounds were the perfect place for us to get married. Of all the venues we looked at this was hands down the most stunning.

Suzanne is a DOLL, and was there for us every step of the way. She made sure we were on track with when to have certain things planned, gave suggestions to help maximize our time and bang for our buck, and in the end was there to make sure our day was absolutely PERFECT.

The Staff was amazingly friendly, refilling drinks promptly, offering kind words, and tending to our every need. The food - words cannot describe how DELICIOUS the food is here. My husband's grandmother is one of biggest food critics, having worked many decades as a culinary professional, and even she complimented their dishes!

The beauty, the food, and the support of the venue are all worth the slightly higher price tag. Overall, I feel we got an amazing deal and would highly encourage others to consider this for their wedding! Tip - if you avoid the "peak season" for weddings, the price tag drops significantly.

We have been walking our dogs at Prophecy Creek Park for years as we live nearby the Manor House. It was always a dream of ours to actually get married there. On April 23, 2017, that dream came true! It was absolutely the greatest day of our lives. We were so lucky to share such a special day with family, friends and loved ones. The entire staff at the Manor House was superb. They went out of their way to ensure that the every detail and step for the entire experience was considered and attended to with care and insight. The Manor House staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. We felt like we were treated like royalty. The food, grounds, and staff are all fantastic and we would highly recommend this site for any future couples considering this as their destination for their special day!

The Manor House was AMAZING!! They were excellent with everything. The ballroom looked exactly how I imagined it. I know it's cheesy, but I literally had the wedding of my dreams at this venue. The staff was amazing and all my guests had nothing but positive feedback for the staff and the food. They did everything! Left no details undone. I wish I had another party to throw just so I could go back!!!!!

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we arrived and took a tour we knew this was our place! Suzanne and Tina were amazing with the planning---always with quick replies via email and made everything super easy for us. On the day of we did not worry one bit, Suzanne and her team set everything up just how we envisioned it and were completely on top of things from start to finish! Def made our day go super smooth and stress free:) The whole experience was fantastic---our guests still rave about how perfect our wedding was. The grounds themselves are so beautiful and the food and drinks were amazing! If you're thinking about having your big day here, I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

Our wedding on November 12th, 2016 at the Manor House at Commonwealth was fantastic! My new husband and I were so pleased with how the planning process went as well as the big day itself! We worked with Suzanne and she was wonderful. She was always very quick to respond, both via email and phone call, and when she was unavailable, Tina or another staff member were quick to respond and assist us. Everyone we interacted with could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The venue pretty much sells itself with it's unique charm and elegance, not to mention the fabulous grounds. We wanted to use a venue situated on a golf course and also wanted a late fall date and the venue really could not have been more perfect for what we were looking for. The fact that we were able to decorate the different rooms as we wanted was so awesome and really gave our night a personalized feel. The package offered by Manor House is pretty much unmatched (we toured a LOT of venues in the surrounding area) especially considering the price. It is also said that Commonwealth is known for their food and we can see why. At our tasting, the food was delicious, we were all very impressed. Fast forward to the night of, guests raved about the quality, quantity and accessibility of the hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour as well as how delicious their entrees were and we agree! We have been to so many beautiful weddings where the food was lacking, this was far from the case for ours. Erica, who was appointed to the bridal party the night of, was friendly and attentive without hovering, she was awesome and I really appreciated her help. Suzanne was there through the introductions for the night which I thought was awesome since she had worked so hard and so closely with us. We were able to drop off all of our decor two days prior with instructions and everything was set up for us the day of, which was a huge stress reliever! Can't recommend this venue enough! Thank you Manor House for a perfect day!

This venue and staff are amazing!! It was so easy working with Suzanne, Tina, and Megan. They were always immediate to respond to any question I had, and were beyond professional. There were a few minor tweeks I had asked about and they accommodated them without even a question. Everyone that attended our wedding will not stop raving about the venue and food. People wanted to eat more but they were so full!! That is not a bad problem to have :) Thank you again Manor House and the entire staff, including the bar tenders and servers who were extremely sweet and attentive. This was truly our dream wedding and worth every penny and more!!

The Manor House was the first wedding venue that we visited, and it set the standard -- a charming 18th-century house, gorgeous outdoor grounds, and then there was Suzanne. We cannot say enough great things about our wedding coordinator! Her expertise, responsiveness, and concern over every detail was notable and very much appreciated. We couldn't believe how much we felt like we were getting personalized service. The venue itself is immaculate and offers incredible value, especially for smaller weddings (we had 60 guests). The ballroom is a generous space, and the house includes additional sitting rooms and a veranda, all while its old-world charm makes it feel quite intimate. (Only one event is held at a time!) We were so pleased that the Manor House's offerings are all-inclusive; it was a relief to not have to worry about hiring a separate caterer, and not only that, the food served was outstanding. In addition, the staff helps with setting up, breaking down and packing up all decor. We also were grateful for the flexibility with add-ons (such as the "Taste of Philly" snack table!) as our guest list evolved. Overall, we only wish the day had been longer. We enthusiastically recommend the Manor House as a wedding venue!

I can’t thank the Manor House at Commonwealth enough for such an amazing wedding day. My husband and I were married on August 5, 2016—not only was the day perfect, but the service, atmosphere, preparation, and coordination of the evening was spectacular. Prior to our special day, both Tina and Suzanne were extremely accommodating, helpful, and attentive to every request, email (there were many), and question we had. They took care of everything pre-wedding and wedding day, to make sure everything ran on schedule and was perfect!

Our guests raved about the delicious cocktail hour—including the jumbo shrimp, the mini-cheesesteaks, crab cakes, ahi tuna and scallops wrapped in bacon. Many loved our signature drink—the Rhode Island Iced Tea (Sweet Tea Vodka & Lemonade)!

One thing that sets Commonwealth above the rest is that they had waiters/waitresses assigned to each table, so each guest felt extremely comfortable, it prevented from any lines at the bar, and each time a guest stepped away from their plate, the napkin was beautifully folded right back on the chair. As for myself, I can’t thank the attendant enough who was assigned to my husband and I. I have a dietary restriction (gluten free), and the attendant not only had items waiting for me when I arrived at the venue, but during our pictures, and during cocktail hour—followed by the catering managers preparing a gluten free meal for not only myself but a handful of guests.

The staff was marvelous—not only was everyone extremely courteous, they especially helped keep myself, my husband, and the bridal party on schedule with our duties. Our guests told us that it was one of the best weddings they have been to and the food was amazing, and they loved the outside patio! We loved everything and were so happy to have celebrated at the Manor House at Commonwealth with our family and friends. Thank you Suzanne, Tina, and all of the staff at the Manor House at Commonwealth for giving 110% on my wedding day!

My husband and I were married at the manor house on September 4th. Our experience with them was fabulous from day one. The entire staff is wonderful huge thank you to Suzanne you are so awesome at what you do. Also huge thanks to the wait staff they were incredible my guests are still raving about what an amazing job they did ... there was one young blonde girl so wish I could remember her name who was taking care of my husband and I she was so accommodating and awesome! Thank you guys so much!

Everything from the food to the service was top notch and all for a reasonable price. Guests told us that it was one of the best weddings they have been to and the food was hands-down #1 (we did a buffet, which was a huge hit). On the day of my wedding I felt like a queen! We got married during a heatwave, and the Commonwealth team was fanning me while I waited to walk down the aisle in the beautiful garden! They took care of everything and made sure everything was running on schedule. Also, my husband and I had a sweetheart table at our reception with a personal server, Maria, and she was fantastic! Even during cocktail hour, she was running food and drinks up to the bridal suite while the bridesmaids worked on my bustle and freshened up. There was complimentary champagne and cheese waiting in the bridal suite as well. During the reception, she was exceptional-- before our drinks and food could even get cold, she was there refilling and replacing. We truly felt like royalty. The entire staff was on point! Also, during the wedding planning process itself, everyone was prompt on returning phone calls and emails, and very flexible with any changes or requests. Of course, everything looked beautiful that day as well. My only complaint is that we were unable to access the bridal suite prior to 4pm, unless we wanted to pay an extra $400 or something around that price. However, it worked out that we got ready and did pictures beforehand and arrived at 4pm sharp to do the first look. So, I was not disappointed about not being there earlier! The groom and groomsmen arrived around 3pm for pictures in the living room area, which was not an issue. HIGHLY recommend!!! Suzanne, Tina, and everyone else on staff were great!!

The Manor House at Commonwealth did a beautiful job hosting our wedding. They were very accommodating and made the whole process so simple. Suzanne did a wonderful job tailoring our wedding to our wants and needs. The food was fabulous and I still have guests complimenting the food and service that was provided.

Best venue ever. The amount of support and consultation provided greatly exceeded my expectations. Suzanne was extremely quick to respond and provide assistance. There was no need for a coordinator in my eyes because of how meticulous Suzanne and Christine were throughout the night. Everything was taken care of exactly as requested and it could not have gone any smoother. I am a worrier by nature and I did not worry once throughout the night that something wouldn't be as asked. For a bride, that was amazing and liberating as I could trust Commonwealth's staff to take care of everything beautifully.

It was also a rainy/dreary day our wedding day and Commonwealth remained super flexible throughout my decision about where to hold the ceremony on the grounds. Being able to make that decision without any pressure a few hours before the cermony start time was key given the weather for the day.

The food at Commonwealth is beyond amazing from both the taste and the quantity perspectives. The amount of inclusions in the package made everything easy as I did not need to think about extra costs or fees. The french fry bar at the end of the night was a hit amongst guests!

I could not have asked for anything more and they definitely beyond exceeded my expectations based on what I know other venues offer particularly from a service standpoint.

The Manor House at Commonwealth is an amazing wedding venue! My husband and I got married on February 27th, 2016. We loved having our reception there. It was the perfect place for our vintage library-tea themed wedding! The food was simply awesome! Food was a huge part of why we picked this place. We had read great reviews online and let me tell you not one person was wrong! We tried the food at a tasting and it was fabulous but obviously when they have to make it for 100+ people the quality could potentially suffer. Not with the Manor House at Commonwealth! Maybe I couldn't remember it right, but the food was even better than the tasting! I am a bride who actually ate everything and it was the best decision! The Maple Sage Pork Tenderloin and the Beef Shoulder were by far the best selections and don't even get me started on our cocktail hour! Our guests are still taking about it. The entire staff were incredibly kind, considerate, and professional as well. We felt really looked after and like we had nothing to worry about which is exactly what every bride wants. Suzanne our point person was fabulous especially after Fallyn the main person we worked with left and that was a huge concern for us. Suzanne stepped in and made us feel like we could really count on her. All the people were really flexible as well. I wanted to set up my own decorations as I wanted everything a certain way and they were so accommodating! We also had a few people at the wedding who we had not realized were allergic to certain food items and without even so much as a fuss they took care of everything. I heard from several people how on top of everything they were. This is an amazing reception site with a beautiful decor and incredible price (for winter weddings at least). We loved everything and were so happy to have celebrate with our family and friends at such an amazing venue. Thank you to everyone at the Manor House at Commonwealth!

Working with Suzanne and all of the staff at Manor House was a great experience. We had all of our questions answered promptly and they did everything they could to accommodate us. Everything with our wedding reception went perfectly. the cocktail hour setting was perfect and the food was great. For dinner we had the herb marinated grilled chicken, the duet of salmon and filet, and the vegetable risotto. A lot of people told us how much they liked the food and drinks. Good time had by all.

My daughter's wedding at The Manor House at Commonwealth was just the most perfect day! The venue was amazing, and the staff was awesome! Everyone commented on how delicious the food was! From the cocktail hour to the dinner and dessert, it was all incredible! I can't say enough about this venue! No detail was overlooked! EXCELLENT!!!!! I Cannot thank the staff at the Manor House At Commonwealth enough for providing me nothing less than spectacular service from my very first visit last June, to my perfect wedding day! Not only is the venue a spectacular choice for a wedding and reception, but the staff went above and beyond for my husband and I, providing personalized, exceptional service. The staff are extremely detail oriented, organized, friendly and helpful. I must provide a special shout out to Fallyn Maleski, she is truly an extrordinary professional, kind, and helpful, available with anything I needed throughout the planning and the big day! The staff at The Manor House was wonderful. My daughter is out of town and I needed someone to make sure all of her needs were card for with extra special attention. The Friday evening program was very affordable and met all of your requirements. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious. Everyone had a great time and commented on the fun night. We also used the DJ, photographer and bakery from their preferred vendor list.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT We recently had our wedding at the Manor House and we couldn't have had a more perfect day. We knew right away after visiting the venue that the character of the original house was exactly what we were looking for. You walk in through the main door and it feels like you are welcoming your guests in to your home. There are a few spaces were guests can connect and you can decorate as you please. We had approximately 90 guests at our wedding and we had our ceremony on the lawn on a gorgeous August evening. With only flowers in mason jars lining the aisle, the lawn is the perfect surrounding for a wedding. There's no need to decorate any further!

The food here is hands down the best you will find. Guests continue to rave about how much food we had and the excellent quality and taste. Our dinner entrees were the Seared Chicken Roulade, Filet wrapped in bacon and the White Bean Ravioli. Cocktail hour provides so much food, some of the guests were full before dinner started! They offer great bakeries to select your cake from which is included in your package. Bar packages were plenty and they made homeade Blood Orange Sangrias for our signature drink!

Suzanne was our contact through all of our planning and she was just so incredibly helpful. She helped me with so many ideas and was just so pleasant and responsive with my many emails with questions or ideas. She really tried to help us use our money in the best way possible. Her attention to detail is wonderful and she made sure that everything was easy.On the day of our wedding, Suzanne, Julie and the entire team took care of my husband and I, as well as everyone of our guests. We had a server who truly wanted to make sure we had anything we needed and made sure we enjoyed our food as well.

Hands down the BEST venue - it has character, amazing food, and the best team you could ask for to make your wedding special!

My fiancee and I just got married at the manor house and commonwealth last friday 8/28/15. It was truely magical. Fallyn the wedding coordinator there is fantastic. Everything about our experience there was spectacular. They made everything personal to us and our wishes and made sure that our needs were met the whole way. The food is fantastic, the environment / grounds / atmosphere is as romantic as it gets and the staff is super attentive to you and your guests. I literally have no complaints. I highly recommend them to anyone getting married.

We got married in June 2015 at the Manor House at Commonwealth. We are so truly please with everything. Our wedding consultant, Fallyn Maleski, was awesome. Fallyn took care of everything and told us to relax and she would handle it all. She did! The ceremony outdoor site was beautiful. All of the food and drinks from the Cocktail hour to the reception was delicious. Friends and family told us how great the filet was and one friend said it was the best he ever had. We can't thank commonwealth enough.. Tina, Julie and Fallyn (and all the rest)... Thank you!!!!!!!

The Manor House at Commonwealth was perfect. I do not say that lightly. The preparation up to the wedding was fairly smooth. We did have a switch in our coordinator which was stressful, but Suzanne eased our fears. She was responsive to my odd hours emails and thorough. We went through multiple times how the day would run. At my last meeting, Julie and Christine also joined, and it was incredibly reassuring to know that a team was supporting us. The reception was beyond any expectation I could have imagined. The guests loved the cocktail hour and porch. They also raved about our additional chef manned Beef Wellington station. Personally, I loved our signature drink, the Pomegranate Spritzer, as well as the brie and raspberry tart. My husband was impressed with the attention from the staff, as well as my in-laws. Seriously top-tier service, better than in most high end restaurants. The dinner entrees (veal/scallop, polenta, and chicken) were divine. My husband, who used to work with the chef in a country club, said the scallops were the best thing he has ever eaten. I could not finish my dinner with all the events going on, and the attendants were sure to wrap it up and send it home with me at the end of the night. I also had a guest with a raspberry allergy, and she was stunned that they specially accommodated her. The same goes for our gluten free guest. I caught a glimpse of the team setting up our french fry bar, sweet shoppe, and to-go bags towards the end of the evening. They worked incredibly hard and their teamwork was remarkable. I seriously hope a friend gets married here so we can repeat this experience.

I have not had my wedding yet, but I have booked this venue. It is beautiful and the staff is so helpful! I feel relaxed planning my wedding because of my wedding coordinator at Manor House at commonwealth. I am so excited to be getting married here!
