Great service for a great price!

I had my hair and makeup done with the mane attraction and I was completely satisfied with both! The prices were reasonable and the service was very professional.

Great service!

These ladies came to our venue and were completely prepared for prepping all of the ladies in the bridal party, the bride, and the MOB and MOG. They did a great job and were a lot of fun!

Satisfaction and happiness

We have been going here, like my whole life for anything involving hair.
They have such wonderful people working here, that do just what the customers ask for.
They helped me feel like the most beautiful bride for my wedding. And made my bridesmaids hair just perfect. They really can work wonders with hair.
They have never disappointed me, and I would recommend them to anyone for anything hair!!!

The ladies at the Mane Attraction are all so talented. My hair and make-up was perfection. I seriously could not have loved it more than I do. I showed them photos of what I wanted, and they delivered! All of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous, too.

So Amazing!!

Carla and her team were so awesome to work with! They were able to listen to what I wanted and transform it into beautiful hair styles that were better than I could have imagined! They arrived and set up before me and my party arrived (we were a bit late) and they still managed to finish early! I got lots of compliments all night on my hair and makeup, as did all the other girls! Everyone was very professional and easy to chat with and they made us feel comfortable and relaxed! I will definitely be recommending them!!

Fun to Work With

The Mane Attraction was such a pleasure to work with. They also had the best value in the area. I had 4 bridesmaids and they did my hair for "free." They had conversations with us as they did our hair and even offered to come early since they finished another appointment early. There isn't much more to say other than they were incredibly easy to work with and they really listened to what we wanted.

Wonderful Service!

My sister and I had our hair done there for my wedding this past Sunday. Carla was wonderful.. she made every effort to make sure we had exactly what we wanted and loved it! My hair was more amazing than I thought it would ever have been for the first time ever getting it done! 100% recommend to anyone for any occasion!

I can't begin to explain how amazing The Mane Attraction is. I had Carla for my hair and Erin for make up for my wedding. They drove over an hour out to my venue to fabulize me and my girls. They were open to last minute add-ons that were needed. My hair and make up turned out exactly how I wanted it to. They both stayed until everyone was 100% satisfied. Carla even left a bottle of hairspray for us to use. The communication process with Mane Attraction was so easy. They respond very effectively and immediately to address any issues you might have. I could not have asked for them to do a better job. Everything turned out fabulous! Strongly recommend them for any hair or make up needs. I will definitely be using them again in the future (:

My bridal party and I could not be happier with our hair and makeup!! My hair and make up has never looked better! They are super easy to work with and were very helpful throughout the whole process. I highly recommend them for any occasion.

These ladies were amazing! I was worried because we were getting married in Hermann, MO that it was too far but they showed up on time with plenty of girls to get everyone perfect and with plenty of time for the wedding. Carla couldn't have done a better job on my hair and everyone's hair and makeup was perfect! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Carla and her team are phenomenal!! I first met Carla when she was able to save the day and get me into a last minute appointment for extensions before my engagement pictures. The extensions were truly transforming and exactly what I wanted. After that, I knew I needed her team to do my wedding and they definitely did not disappoint. All of the girls looked gorgeous and my hair survived the whole night. Carla was also so sweet and kept telling me not to apologize whatsoever because she would do whatever it took to make sure I felt my best on the wedding day. I'm so so glad that we ended up using her and her team, and I plan to continue going to her for my beauty needs from here on out.

Amazing!! Not only is The Mane Attraction the best at hair, but the makeup work they provide is extraordinary!! I had a strapless gorgeous Ball gown wedding dress with a Swarovski crystal bodice (Allure 9006), and I was worried about my tattoos not looking “right” with the dress/occasion. I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was an “Airbrushed Angel” for my wedding. No one could see my tattoos or the giant bruise I had from getting waxed at a different place the day before. Valerie is an amazing makeup artist and super fun to talk to as well. They were all booked so she went out of her way to open the store early for me at 6:30 AM!!! Total lifesaver!!! I was balling my eyes out the day before because of the instant waxing bruise I received elsewhere. She covered it no problem along with my giant tattoo! I am so grateful and will be sure to call The Mane Attraction any and every time I need to look my best!! Book in advance they are the best and get busy! I met the owner at a Bridal Show and she perfected the exact hairstyle I wanted for my wedding in 15 minutes!! It lasted all day +. They are the real deal! If you want to look absolutely perfect and more for your wedding day, they are the ones! I can’t thank you guys enough! ♥

They were wonderful and made me feel more relaxed the day of. I went in a few days before to have my hair cut (which looks awesome) and she even did a trial run for wedding hair. They listened to exactly what I wanted done and ended up looking better than I had hoped! my makeup looked stunning, as did everyone else's. overall it was a great experience and I would go back to do it all over again! I am excited to return for future haircuts or any other events!

Not only did the stylists do an amazing job with hair and makeup, the whole bridal experience was so memorable. During a high stress time, we were able to relax, have fun and know that we were in great hands. Great service! Carla Hall did my hair and I was impressed with how well it stayed in place throughout the day and night. She talked with me during the trial and we figured out what hairstyle would look best with my face shape. We tried out positions for how high I wanted my hair and she did it just the way I liked. She even put the veil in my hair a certain way so that it wouldn't hurt throughout the day. I am highly impressed with her service, knowledge of hair, and ability to make my hair the way I had imagined.

I also had airbrush makeup done. This was my first time with airbrush makeup. Since then, I have gotten it done one other time. Mane Attraction went above and beyond. The airbrush was flawless. The makeup artist asked my opinion and feedback in order to make it just the way I wanted. I had her adjust some shades and she was able to do that in little time to make sure the makeup was just the way I liked it.

Everyone I met with The Mane Attractions was super friendly and easy to work with. I am very impressed with their service and professionalism. I highly recommend them.

I decided to use The Mane Attraction for my and my bridal party members' hair and make-up after reading numerous positive reviews personally meeting Carla and Valerie and I absolutely thrilled with how the hair and make-up turned out. When I did a 180 a few weeks before the wedding and changed what I had decided during my hair and make-up trial a few months prior, they did not complain and were happy to do whatever I wanted – they made helpful suggestions along the way and whenever we said for them to do whatever they felt best, we were not disappointed with what they chose.
The team came to our hotel on the morning of my wedding and immediately set to work; everyone was super sweet and made us all very comfortable. What was very special for me was that my 8-year-old stepdaughter was able to get airbrush make-up done just like her big sister and it was beautiful and natural (she did not look like a pageant princess!) and my mother, who never does her hair or wears make-up) commented how pretty she felt after her hair and make-up was done. They arrived on time and complied with my photographer’s schedule of when everything needed to be done to stay on track with the photo and video schedule --- we never felt rushed and they took their time to make sure we were happy and loved it.
Carla left us with extra hairspray and bobby pins but everyone’s hair held up perfectly (even with mi-afternoon thunderstorms) and did not need touch up --- all of us had airbrush make-up done and required zero touch ups the entire day. I have had my hair and make-up done by other salons for other events and my hair and make-up has never held up that long! (The ladies arrived at 8:00am, were done by 10:30am, and my reception did not end until midnight).
I absolutely recommend The Man Attraction as your hair and make-up vendor for your big day!

I used this vendor for airbrush makeup and hair styling for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. I think everyone was impressed with how their styles turned out and the quality of their makeup. It was so easy and a really fun experience. All four girls that were there on the big day for my bridal party were professional and very friendly. They really focused on each persons style and look that they wanted. I was a little apprehensive about my hair looking like a helmet in order to hold up for the entire day but I chose a very classic and romantic style that looked natural and Laurie delivered. It did not move an inch for all of the events throughout the day which ended up being about 12 hours. My makeup lasted just as long but I didn't give it the test of tears but I am confident that it would have been fine. One big recommendation that I have for anyone looking for a hair and makeup vendor is to have a trial. I had my trial the day of the bachelorette party which really put it to the test and made me a little more at ease about my wedding day look rather than bringing in a picture and hoping for the best the day of. I would recommend this vendor to any bride!

I booked with Mane attraction because I was in my soon to be sister in laws wedding in May 2012 and that's where she went. I was very happy with my services then. So when it came to my wedding I knew where to book. Carla is wonderful at hair. I actually changed my style of hair the day of the wedding and it was perfect. I got my trial makeup down the first time with someone and wasn't happy. I told Carla and we reschedule with free of charge. Valerie did my makeup the second time and it was amazing. Carla runs a great business.

The Mane Attraction did a fabulous job! All of the stylists were helpful, knowledgeable and fun. They styled myself and all 5 of my bridesmaids' hair and I received airbrush makeup as well. Everyone's hair looked gorgeous & stayed put even though we danced all through the night. My airbrush makeup was glowing and made me feel like a million bucks. It didn't budge until I removed it later that night. I am so happy with The Mane Attraction's services and would recommend them to anyone!

I am so happy to be doing a review for such an amazing company! I had worked with these ladies before, when Carla and her team came to my high school to do our hair and makeup for Hairspray the musical. I was Tracy Turnblad and they did an amazing job making my character shine through! They came back a couple years later to work on hair and makeup for Grease the musical and again they did a remarkable job!

Finally, the third time I got the chance to work with them, they did the best job yet!! I was so impressed by their work ethic and they truly made my sister look amazing on her wedding day, along with us girls in the bridal party! Carla was my hairstylist this day and I showed her a picture and told her I trusted her to do whatever she wanted, but to keep it in this style. She truly succeeded my expectations and I could not have looked more beautiful on my sister's wedding day! I highly recommend The Mane Attraction to anyone who is looking for hair, makeup, and etc. on their big day!

My wedding was August 24, 2013. 2 months before my wedding I moved from IL to Houston TX. With that being the case I didn't have the availability to do a trial run for hair or makeup. I made an appointment for my 4 bridesmaids and myself. The appointment included hair and airbrush makeup. I went in that morning to Mane Attraction not really knowing what I wanted to do for my bridal hair. The team there was amazing. They showed me some photos and I told them what I was thinking and it turned out to be the best style for my body type and dress. My makeup was bold (which was what I wanted) and held out perfect for the day. Needless to say everyone looked fantastic. We all got so many compliments on the hair styles and makeup. I cannot thank the team at Mane Attractions enough for the service they provided. I looked truly beautiful!

I loved this place and everyone working there! I chose them on the advise of a coworker and I'm glad I did. I needed someone who would travel to ME on the day of my wedding and do hair and makeup for myself and wedding party. They were very accommodating and did a wonderful job! My hair style was preplanned but the other girls were not, and they were very good at last minute improv of hairstyles. Everyone got just what they wanted. Makeup was wonderful (they use airbrushing) and my nails and my daughter's nails (done the day before at the salon) were perfect! Highly recommend them!

Carla did the most amazing up do for my 9 year old daughter for a wedding she was in. She made my daughter feel very special and beautiful. All the woman in the bridal party looked and felt their very best. Valerie did the make up for the woman in the bridal party and and they all looked gorgeous. Valerie has done my hair in the past, and every time I have been very pleased, she is a wonderful stylist who has a talent way beyond any words that I could express. It was so nice to not have to worry about my makeup on my wedding day. The girls from Mane Attraction came out to us and made it a fun part of the morning. What I loved is all of my bridesmaids and my mom got their makeup done and we all had our own style. Everyone looked so pretty!

I absolutely loved the updo Carla gave me, it was exactly how I pictured looking on my wedding day. I also got my makeup airbrushed and not onlt did it look beautiful but it lasted all night even through all of the happy tears. My bridesmaids also loved their hair and makeup! Everyone in the salon is so friendly, it made for a more than pleasant experience!

The Mane Attraction staff did the best job ever. They came to our venue, a little early too, and got right to work. All of my bridesmaid’s hair and my hair looked absolutely amazing….I was getting compliments on my hair all night and still am! I also loved their air brush makeup, made us all look fabulous! Carla did my hair and she was fantastic!! My hair is really thin and she was able to make it look thick without having to add extensions. :o) I got many compliments on it. I also had air brush makeup done and all I can say is WOW! We had tempatures in the high 90's and the makeup lasted through the heat and of course some crying. I had a trial run (to see if I would like the makeup) and I asked to change the eye shadow a bit the next time and they nailed it. It was exactly what I was wanting. Thank you guys for making my hair and makeup look stunning!!! I've even decided to start getting my hair cut there in the future.

I had a wonderful experience at the Mane Attraction for my wedding. This day I had dreamed of my whole life, and I wanted to be beautiful as most girls do. Carla Hall and the air brush artists at the Mane Attraction did a wonderful job and made me feel absolutely gorgeous on my special day. I have long thick hair that can be hard to work with so I was pretty nervous but Carla worked some magic and it looked so beautiful. She also assured me that she would make me love it before I had left and she kept her promise. They were also very flexible with me on my tight timeline and made it work for both myself and my matron of honor. They do such a great job and they are all so very sweet. I would recommend the Mane Attraction to anyone for their big day, special occasion or just to feel good about yourself and get dressed up. They really are wonderful.

Carla and her hair stylists did a great job on my bridesmaids hair and make up as well as mine. Her shop was very clean and all the employees there were friendly. It was a great price for how great our hair and make up turned out. I was very pleased that they had a deal going for the bride which was 4 people get hair done there its free for the bride and same goes for any service as long as 4 people pay for the service. Everyone loved their hair and make up.

After a disaster with my original salon (see review of Selah Day Spa in St. Louis), my day of planner recommended Mane Attraction and they were perfect. With less than 24 hours notice, they sent two great stylists to my hotel to do the hair and nails for me & my MOH. I feel badly that I can't remember the particular stylists names (Laura & Becky?), but they were very professional and did a great job. I showed them a picture of the hairstyle I wanted, and they gave me a perfect style. It worked well with my hair and looked very nature (not pasted down), and 11 hours later it still looked great (even after lots of dancing). They also did a similar, natural style on my MOH's shorter, thinner hair and it looked good, too. And manicures were also good. Overall, an effortless experience that exceeded my expectations.

I was a bridesmaid for a wedding that Carla and her crew beautified - I knew then that I would use them when I got married. Fast forward to my fiance and me at a bridal expo - Mane Attraction was there, and they remembered me and were thrilled that I was a bride-to-be. We did a hair and makeup trial right there and booked them for the wedding.

The girls at Mane Attraction work quickly, but do great work! In three hours, they did hair for me, my 7 bridesmaids, and my MIL, along with airbrush makeup for myself, my MOH, and my mom. Everyone felt and looked gorgeous! We had music going in our hotel suite and they sang along and made the morning so much fun. They met us at 8am and we learned that they had started the morning much earlier for another bridal party - even though they were tired, you wouldn't have known it. I appreciate that they are willing to travel for wedding hair/makeup, and you can also get free services for the bride if you have 4 or more attendants receiving the same service. Definitely consider these wonderful gals!

Both ladies were very helpful. Carla did our hair, and another woman did our makeup. The lady who did the makeup was excellent! The only issue we had was that the wedding did not begin until 4, but the ladies wanted to come at 9 am. I wish they had come an hour later, so that the photographer was able to get some photos of my hair and makeup being done. When, I called the Mane Attraction to see if they could come later, they insisted that 9 am would be pushing it to get everything done.

The hair and makeup did look excellent, though.

Carla and her team were quick to respond when I contacted them! They managed to fit me in even though it was late notice and always remained positive. They made my the start of my wedding day fun and relaxing and we all looked amazing! I love these ladies!

They made me look amazing for my day (hair and makeup)! They also did a great job with my bridesmaid's hair. They were a little confusing with communication as far as deposits and everything and they didn't really hide a tiff going on between workers, so that was awkward. But overall very pleased with the results.

Hair for the bridal party looked good but working with the mane attraction wasn't always the easiest. There were several miscommunications on price, beginning time, and location of services. I received a phone call the week of the wedding to 'confirm' details and they had the wrong start time and said they didn't know that they would be traveling to the hotel where we were getting ready. I had gone into their salon about 3 weeks prior and signed a contract with details and paid the deposit but yet when they called they were surprised and rude about the fact that they would be traveling.. The girls were also a little rude the morning of the wedding.

After doing my trail run of hair and make up I put a down payment on the rest of the girls hair-do's. Was never really told what that down payment would be used for but I just guessed it was for the girls hair. Once they came to the hotel and did all of our hair, which I had 6 girls counting my else with pictures of an idea of what we wanted, 5 of us counting myself changed our hair after they had left because it was no where close to what the pictures looked like. Even my hair was different after the trail run to make me think why did I even do a trail run if no notes were going to be taken down on how I wanted my hair done. When one of the workers said that they had a girl one time ask to re-do her hair 3 times and that they had her paid for each hair do I knew my girls weren't going to say a thing.

Also when it was time to pay and people who had cash wanted change Carla said "well I didn't bring any cash with me so I don't know what you want me to do" which was very off putting. It's hard to believe that a company that travels to places wouldn't have change with them if someone wanted to pay in cash. Really the only good thing about them was that they traveled to us so we could sleep in a bit.

They lost my first contract. Called to confirm my trial appointment with the wrong time then we got a time worked out and the next day for my trial I got a call I was late and it wasn't either the time the girl before said originally or the new time she scheduled or the time I had written on my ticket. On the day of the wedding they charged way more than the contract THEY printed and had me sign said. And then THEY did my maid of honors hair wrong and then CHARGED her extra to fix THEIR mistake.

I came in for my bridal trail hair & makeup. To be honest, I didnt enjoy my experience or leave feeling happy with my hair & makeup. I didn't mention anything at the time because Im not very confrontational & like to give people some grace. I thought maybe once I was in different lighting, or I saw how I looked in pictures, I could feel different about it. I didn’t, I felt worse. I was there for 46 min & felt rushed the entire time, so rushed I didn’t have much time to even process the whole experience. Its not just about the outcome of the hair & makeup. On top of feeling rushed, I don’t really think a close look was taken of either the picture of the hair or makeup that I provided. Very little questions were asked to ensure what I wanted. My hair had very little volume, no hair pulled out around my face, the twist/braid was barely there. I wasn’t asked about hair accessories, the dryer temperature was burning my head, a cape wasn’t provided to cover my clothes, the stylist was incredibly rough. I wasn't asked about my skin type. My makeup had little coverage, little to no blush or bronzer, no contouring, there was so much silver or highlighter under my eyes though, aging me incredibly cakey. The picture I provided for eyes had gold, copper, bronze, but mine looked silver & brown. The Makeup was not blended well. On top of it all, my skin broke out after & has been itchy. While I was there the workers were bad mouthing people in town. I brought all this to the attention of the owner who was also the one who did my hair. She did say she was sorry I wasn't satisfied & offered for me to come back in. If it was just the outcome of the hair & makeup I would've but since the whole experience was not good, I suggested a refund & my deposit for the wedding back. there was 45 days for them to book other clients. She said sorry we don't do refunds! best wishes! I spent $190 on the trail & $200 deposit. Worst experience.

Unprofessional, rude, completely shattered the mood in the bridal suite. An assembly line mentality with no regard for the bridal party experience. Our contract stated our picture start time was at 3 for a 4:30PM wedding. We did two trial runs costing $250 for each appointment and confirmed our start times. I also followed up with 2 additional and separate phone calls. Being an outdoor wedding, timing was extremely important as we wanted to ensure we weren't ready too early but had enough time for pre-ceremony pictures. We had eight girls with 20 separate services (hair, makeup, eyelashes). Two days prior when Carla asked to move the appointment up an hour, we readily agreed. Upon arrival at the venue, there was no cordial greeting, just a "where are we going", a prelude of the attitude we would deal with. While decorating the venue downstairs, a few bridesmaids and the groom's mother approached me to say Carla was yelling at the girls to "get in the chair" or "I need a short hair in the chair now". At 1030, she yelled at my daughter, who as the bride, explained she would go last. Carla replied "Oh, you're the bride", two trials she couldn't remember the bride nor ask on arrival. In confronting her, she stated, per the contract we asked to be done by 1PM. I reminded her of 4 separate conversations, were we discussed a start time of 3-3:15PM. She pulled the contract, realized her error but offered no apology. The negativity continued with comments “she had places to go" and "another bridal party at 3". What should have been a relaxing, fun-filled afternoon for the bridal party turned to a stress filled environment with stifled conversation and no laughter. All this after paying premium traveling prices and mileage. As for complimentary services for the bride for "like" services, make sure you understand what "like" means. In the end, everyone looked nice. I tipped 25% only for work by the other two employees. Wish I had put more stock in the local google reviews.
