Great food and great service. Originally wanted Famous Daves for a "bbq themed" rustic wedding but ended up trying Lookout Bar & Grills food and fell in love. It was amazing. They provided both beverages, alcohol, food, cake cutting, and linens. Only disappointment was there was not a large selection of pop available (3 options I believe) but it worked just fine. The person I worked with throughout the planning was the same person that showed up and did setup/food/etc... They showed up for initial setup up on time. And they came back when they said.

We used the lookout for our wedding reception and were very pleased. We got to chose from 4 different place and we tried them all and the lookout tasted the best, had best variety and was in our budget. Our coordinator was very friendly and got back to us very soon. They gave us so much food for our taste testing and it was all so good. They did a wonderful job setting up and taking down and the bar service was wonderful too.

The Lookout Bar & Grill was amazing. The food was amazing and they catered to our needs. We had everything we wanted for food (hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken breasts) The food was absolutely delicious and had great flavor. The pricing was great too!! Most places charge $20.00 or more for a plated dinner that is served. We had a buffet style and the food tasted awesome and for a price of less than $12.00 a person!! I would definitely go with this catering again in the future!

The Lookout Bar & Grill was perfect for what we wanted for our wedding. Burgers and Chicken Sandwiches. The food was great. Everyone loved it.
Our tasting went very well. They gave us so much food! The execution at the wedding went well, but the middle was kind of a mess. Connie, our coordinator and Brenda, the numbers lady, didn’t seem to be on the same page. Connie would tell us that something was no problem and it shouldn’t be extra, but when Brenda would follow up, it always was. We were told our coordinator would be at our wedding. She wasn’t (not a big deal for us, but don’t tell us you’ll be there). We were also told that the chef at our tasting would be the one to cook for our wedding. (also not true).
There was also a communication issues. After we put down our deposit, we got all mixed up in their system and I had different people contacting me. One coordinator thought we were doing it at the restaurant and that we couldn’t because they were already booked that day. Then there was a string of emails about who I was and what I wanted. If I had been a more high strung bride, I probably would have lost it. In the end, I ended up being the person that got them all on the same page. That shouldn’t have been my responsibility.
Overall, the food was tasty and we were happy.

The Lookout was wonderful when it came to setting up for our wedding. The food was amazing and I had so many guests come up and tell me this and I was so happy to hear that! They have great pricing and I was very happy with everything.

The lookout was recommended to us for catering. First few months of interactions were good but as the date got closer it was harder and harder to get responses. We never did a taste test as they are only held on select dates that didnt work around our schedule. We struggle to get the final balance and when we finally did it was much higher than we had anticipated especially since i had stated numerous times what our max price wad for the services and I was told it would be no problem at all. They came late to the venue which made us nervous that they werent going to come. We actually had to call to find out what was going on. Definetly not something you want to be worrying about at your wedding. In the end, they showed up and had the food out and ready to go on time, but they definetly could improve on a few things.

The lookout has amazing food, yet the cost is a little more than some vendors for the amount recieved. They also are hard to get a hold of at times. Waited over a week for any communication whether it was by phone or email.

Given the location of our reception we had our choice of three caterers, the Lookout being one of them. The food at our "tasting" seemed to be much better than the actual food we had at our wedding. The food at our wedding was still good but did not seem as incredible as the food we had at our tasting.

Our contact was a little slow returning our phone calls but did get back to us eventually. The day of the event ran smoothly and we had no problems.

The food is delicious however there were so many communication issues throughout the entire process. Starting from the incorrect pricing they provided me, the fact that they implied it was my fault for not catching their pricing error (though I did point it out and they again provided incorrect pricing), not outlining what was/was not included in the package despite multiple asks, confirmation of the wrong alcohol a week prior to the wedding, bringing the wrong beer the day of the wedding and forgetting the sauce for the meatloaf. I should have trusted my gut at the beginning of the process and selected a new vendor. If you are looking for good food and can continue to stay on top of all communication, you may have good luck. However, if you want a stress free process I would not recommend booking with The Lookout for your wedding food.
