I can’t say how happy we are with choosing Darren and his team to host our wedding. Everyone complemented the food, the overall idea of the place. The wood beams give the best character to the place, everything its original and simply beautiful.
The first time I saw the venue I truly felt in love and instantly knew that this is where I want my friends and family celebrate with.
My photographer was so impressed and had so many ideas for our beautiful photos.
Staff was so nice and friendly, very sweet team of people.
Thank you again for fulfilling my dream.

10th Wedding Anniversary Surprise
My husband worked with Darren and Chris to surprise me for our 10th wedding anniversary at — our wedding venue! 🤍
We walked in to our wedding song playing, shared our first dance all over again, and toasted with champagne. Darren and Chris were so incredibly accommodating and made the entire experience feel so special. Darren even gave us the full tour again!
Getting to come back and celebrate where our story began was something I’ll never forget. If you were married here, coming back for your anniversary is an absolute must! ✨ -

We had our wedding at The Loft at Jack’s Barn, and it was absolutely magical from start to finish. The space is breathtaking — rustic yet elegant — and the atmosphere felt so intimate and full of character. Every single detail, from the string lights to the barn doors and floral setup, created the most romantic backdrop for our day.
The entire team — Darren, Chris, Demi, and Casey — went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything went.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding. It truly was the best day of our lives, and we’ll forever be grateful to everyone at Jack’s Barn for making it so special.

We celebrated our wedding last year October 2023, and I can’t express how perfect everything was! The barn setting added a rustic charm, giving our day such a warm and intimate feel. The natural beauty of the venue exceeded all of our expectations—it was everything we had ever hoped for!
The staff were nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, and caring, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. Their professionalism and genuine kindness made our day feel so special.
As for the food, it was simply amazing. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious, leaving our guests raving about the meal long after the event was over. It was clear that a lot of care went into every aspect of the catering, and we couldn’t have been happier.

We had a great overall experience here planning a bridal shower. Darren and Demi were both very nice, responsive and helpful. The venue was the perfect size for the shower and the food was great! We had rain on the day which sadly meant we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful outside garden but there was more than enough room inside for all who attended. -

Where do I even begin??? I just have to say that my hubby and I are so, so lucky to have stumbled upon Jack's Barn. We had no idea it was even wedding venue, but saw it on one of our random drives and thought at first that it was a cute restaurant. And to our surprise upon looking up the place, it was actually a wedding venue! We had just started planning our wedding at the time, and we thought it was just such perfect timing that we decided to get in touch with the owner (Darren) and book a tour. Our first time seeing Jack's in person and meeting Darren, we knew we had to have our wedding here. We didn't tour any other venues. We booked our date then and there. And our wedding was PERFECT. The venue is beautiful, it's very warm and cozy and rustic, and it was just so us. Darren, Demi, Chris, and Gretchen are all so on top of everything, they really helped to keep me on the right track and stay as organized as possible. Demi is so communicative, and whenever I had a concern about something, I would send her an email and I would get a response within an hour. The way they made sure everything came together nicely really eased a lot of the anxiety over planning a wedding. Chris was also our officiant, and he did such an amazing job! He kept it light and sweet and funny! And last but not least, our guests RAVED about the food. We ate when we could, but our guests said everything was delicious! The stuffed chicken is mouth-watering, and the portions are massive, I also tried a bit of my husband's beef short ribs, also so good! You will not leave hungry. Overall, 5-star treatment, 5-star experience, I would do it all over again!!! -

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at The Loft at Jack's Barn, and it was everything my husband and I could have imagined. From the moment we discovered this hidden gem in the countryside of Oxford, NJ, we knew it was the perfect venue for our intimate celebration.
One of the first things that struck us about The Loft at Jack's Barn was the reasonable cost. So many other venues we looked at were absurdly expensive, making it difficult to find a place that fit within our budget. But Jack's Barn offered a fantastic value that didn't compromise on quality or charm.
Darren and Demi, the owners of Jack's Barn, made the entire planning process a breeze. As an overwhelmed bride, I cannot express how reassuring and stress-free they made everything feel. They were attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every little detail was taken care of. Their expertise and guidance truly made a difference.
Now, let's talk about the food. It was absolutely phenomenal! The flavors, presentation, and quality of the dishes were beyond our expectations. We weren't the only ones who thought so either. We received multiple texts from guests days after the wedding, expressing how much they loved the food. It's always a testament to a great venue when your guests can't stop raving about the cuisine.
As for the venue itself, it was nothing short of enchanting. The Loft at Jack's Barn exudes charm and intimacy. The rustic yet elegant surroundings created a magical atmosphere that perfectly complemented our special day. The attention to detail in the decor and layout added an extra touch of beauty.
We can confidently say that our wedding at The Loft at Jack's Barn was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. We could not be happier with our wedding venue choice! Jack’s Barn gave us such a beautiful, memorable experience, the day of and leading up to the wedding. Before we even signed the contract, Darren made us feel like we would truly be taken care of by their staff, like they exactly how to run a beautiful wedding and that I didn’t need to worry as much as I usually do or had been already! Their whole vibe was what really drew us in to choose them, aside from also the beautiful chandeliers and circus lights… Jacks is “DIY” but they have so much cool stuff you can use; we only bought a few things to add personal touches and flowers/greenery as far as decor. The venue is truly beautiful on its own and all of our guests kept saying the same thing. This won’t be just another banquet hall reception! The food was also so good (dill salmon 10/10) and you get to pick choices for your guests. We also did an open bar through Jacks which was reasonably priced and just customizable enough. Also ask about 20 Belvidere if you want somewhere to stay that weekend - such a great property and made for a really beautiful and charming rehearsal dinner. All the staff leading up and day of were amazing - Darren, Chris, Demi, and Casey know what’s up and we can’t recommend them enough. -

Beautiful venue!
Me and my husband got married here earlier this month and our experience was a dream. I would recommend Jacks barn to everyone! Darren and the staff were nothing short of professional, caring, and attentive for our day. I can not put into words how incredible the cocktail hour seated dinner and dessert stations were.. we still have family and friends raving about it. We dreamt of this day for almost 2 years and the entire staff delivered excellence! Every single person working there helped make it perfect. We are so grateful for you all! -

I’ve been in the wedding business for close to 45 years. I’ve booked and/or serviced probably close to 5,000 weddings, so I speak from an experienced point of view.
My daughter wanted to get married in a barn, and she and her husband fell in love with The Loft at Jack’s Barn.
Summary:
Dressing rooms are Rey nicely done
Great grounds, beautiful gardens
Darren and Demi are great to work with
Location is very unique and well laid out from both a decorative and a logistical standpoint
Service was spot on
Food was excellent - especially the hors d’oeuvres. All freshly made, all outstanding. Great desserts, too.
Nice touch - beautiful sunny day for the ceremony outside, and they handed out parasols to all the women as they went to sit down.
All in all, a great day. -

Jack's Barn is a dream venue. Darren and Demi make everything so fun and stress free. This was the only venue we toured and we booked right away because it just felt so natural and comfortable as soon as we walked inside. The space is gorgeous with beautiful lights and the most charming, cozy decor that my guests adored. They have so many decorations and items for couples to borrow to make their weddings look amazing. Demi was there every time I had to change details and was always there to give a recommendation, help pull off ideas, and just make the experience more calm and fun for both of us. They coordinated our ceremony, vendors, and the whole reception to a T. My guests said the food was the best wedding food they've ever had, and seeing everyone enjoy was a highlight of our night. Darren and Demi are sop personable and willing to help their couples out, and there are so many options for different budgets. If you are interested in Jack's Barn but on the fence, I say don't hesitate. You will literally have no regrets. -

From the moment my (now husband) and I walked into Jack’s barn, we were treated like family. I think it has a lot to do with the face that it’s run by the sweetest family ever! Darren, Chris, and Demi, along with the entire staff, absolutely blew us away. They guided us through the whole planning process and helped us find vendors that would be perfect for us. They were also super accommodating when it came to special requests and vendors that were new to Jacks. I had a very specific vision for my day and even though it poured rain, I couldn’t have asked for a better day. The getting ready space was stunning. It felt so dreamy to get ready up there. I had my four bridesmaids, and all the moms and grandma and there was plenty of room. The makeup artists loved it too because of the great set up. The food was incredible. We chose their bbq option and everyone loved it! The cocktail hour food was delicious too! The staff made sure that we had plenty of food and that we weren’t stressing ourselves out about anything. We were able to really let go and actually have fun with our people! Everyone said that the day felt so intimate, cozy, and so much fun! I was told it was one of the best weddings they’d been to by many people which is so cool to hear and is thanks to Jacks! I couldn’t believe how quickly the day went by but when it did, the staff took care of everything and I barely had to lift a finger Al day. The Jacks Barn Family has officially become part of ours and we can’t wait to go to another wedding there sometime soon! -

Beautiful Wedding Venue
What a wonderful atmosphere and crew at Jacks Barn! Everton in my family kept saying how beautiful and smoothly everything went! The food was amazing! Best Glamorous Barn Venue
From our first visit to the Loft we knew we found our wedding Venue. Darren, Chris and Demi were beyond incredible to work with. They took the time to get to know us and make recommendations to help guide us throughout the wedding planning process. We loved the flexibility the venue afforded. My husband and I really love fine wines and one of the selling points was that we were able to curate a very nice wine and cocktail list. The team at the Loft at Jack's Barn made our wedding day vision come together perfectly. All of our guests loved the comfortable venue and have been raving about it for weeks. My husband and I got married at Jack’s on July 18th, 2021 after postponing during the pandemic. Jack’s was the only venue we visited because we were blown away by both the physical location and the hospitality and professionalism of Darren and Demi. The barn is a work of art that only gets better with each new touch that Darren and his family add. The grounds, bridal suite, groomsmen suite, and barn itself are all incredible. All of our guests commented on what a beautiful location we had chosen for our wedding. We loved that there was a TON of decor such as votives, seating charts, and card boxes that we could borrow from the barn to minimize our other expenses. Our only consideration for future couples is that Jacks is a DIY venue which requires a little bit of set up and planning. However it is SO worth it. With that extra time and effort, we were able to completely customize our vision and have a perfect day. Darren, Chris, Demi, and Casey were wonderful in assisting with the entire process and we highly recommend their venue to couples looking to have a beautiful, unique day. In addition to their services, we took into consideration their recommendations for our photographer (Nick Speer), bus service (Snyder Bus), chalkboard lettering (Stellabird Creative) and DJ (Fantasy Productions). By booking the whole Jack’s “dream team”, we felt like we couldn’t have been happier with the day! -

Dream wedding venue!
We had our wedding ceremony and reception on 6/6/21 at Jack's Barn and it was seriously the best day ever. From the moment we arrived Darren and Demi were there to greet us and guide us through the day. Even though their venue is DIY the whole staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had nothing to worry about. Jack's Barn was the first venue we looked at, and we knew right away that this was the place where we wanted to get married. The venue is beautiful both inside and out. We also used their catering services, Beanstalk Catering, which was AMAZING. The wait staff and bartenders were fantastic. Demi and Darren were a pleasure to work with, easy to communicate with, and overall gave us the experience of a life time. Our guests, and even our vendors, could not stop raving about how perfect every detail was. We have zero regrets and if we could we would do it all over again without changing a thing! -

Awesome Wedding Experience!
My husband and I got married on April 23rd at Jack’s Barn. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The whole experience from initial planning through to the end of our wedding day was an absolutely superb experience. Demi met with us on multiple occasions to discuss plans, décor, catering, day of schedules, etc. Having these multiple visits kept the stress level at ease because I was able to see the venue multiple times and had check-ins to answer any questions that I had. Although, if I ever had a question, Demi was always only an email away and would answer super fast! The day of the wedding, Demi and Darren were on scene and always close by to handle anything we needed - whether it be an extra table, markers we forgot, or even a call to the liquor store for more tequila! The whole day ran like clockwork because of their magic – but at the same time nothing felt rushed. The room was set up exactly how we discussed with all of the awesome rustic décor options they have available (tree trunk table numbers, lanterns, ladder for favors, old door for seating chart, etc…). The food catered by Beanstalk Catering was absolutely remarkable! So many of our friends and family members gave us compliments on the food (especially the cookies and bars!) and how amazing our choice of venue was. If you are looking for a unique, personal and rustic wedding – this venue should be your top choice! -

Amazing Venue and Team
My husband and I were recently married at Jack's Barn during the Covid-19 pandemic. While planning a wedding during the pandemic can be an incredibly stressful and difficult task, Demi and Darren at Jack's Barn were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are incredibly kind and accommodating. Our wedding was also catered in-house by Beanstalk Foods Catering and our guests absolutely loved all of the food from the passed appetizers, entrees, all the way to the dessert. We enjoyed Jacks so much! The wedding day was beautiful.
Arriving on the day was super fun and easy for parking and setting up. They have music playing for you in the suites, it was so homey and comfortable.
Demi and Darren were so helpful and great to work with the past two years even with postponing due to covid; our November date switched to April and it was so smooth!
The whole venue inside and out is beautiful and rustic itself! I loved how they had lots of decoration already there to choose from, being kind of diy it was really nice and comforting not having to buy a lot of stuff!
Overall, it was a beautiful venue with beautiful people and we loved every second of it! -

Jack's Barn is the most amazing venue I have ever been to. It is so gorgeous you really don't need to add anything to it. We booked with Jacks Barn 2 years ago, and like everyone else who had weddings planned this year we did not expect all this covid stuff to happen. Darren and Demi were unbelievable accommodating during this crazy time! They were always available to answer questions and they did everything they possibly could to make their venue safe and make us comfortable during the pandemic. As our wedding was getting closer and covid restrictions were still in place we had to plan for an outside wedding, but then Demi and Darren completed construction on their venue making it possible to have our wedding inside again and honestly its even more gorgeous (didn't think that was possible)! They were so kind, professional, accommodating, and easy to work with. Everyone is still talking about how incredible our wedding was and how unbelievable the venue is! Thank you so much for making our wedding so amazing! -

The perfect venue
I can’t say enough good things about Jack’s barn. Getting married during a pandemic was super stressful working with Demi and Darren made it as good as it could be. They were so flexible and kept us informed every step of the way. They went the extra mile and made permanent changes to the venue so it could be used for our wedding and I am so thankful for that. I don’t know of any other venue that really prioritized their customers they way they did. Aside from how great Demi and Darren are the venue it’s self is beautiful. It’s rustic and elegant our pictures came out beautiful. The bridal suite is perfect I loved getting ready there. If your looking for a beautiful unique and elegant venue this is it. -

The second we walked into Jack’s Barn we knew that this was it! We didn’t want a stuffy banquet hall wedding but something that was very natural and unique and Jack’s Barn fit the bill. It was very affordable compared to other barns we looked at in northern NJ and the decorations inside like the string lights and draped fabric, and the pretty grounds full of flowers got my attention right away. We also appreciated the on site bridal and groom suites so our bridal party, groomsmen, and ourselves can get ready the day of rather than wasting time with transportation. Darren and his daughter Demi made the process so smooth from the beginning and Demi met with me a few times to talk details before the big day. They even have some decorations from previous weddings that I used for my day that came in handy. We got raving reviews about how unique and cozy this venue was and guests were happy to see something knew compared to all the other weddings they’ve been to. I couldn’t have asked for a better day at Jack’s Barn. Thank you! -

Hi,
I am the House Manager for The Loft at Jack's Barn, and also Chris and Darren are my fathers and the owners of Jack's. I recently got married here on 5/18/19, and I wanted to leave my personal review. First off our wedding day was amazing everything went off with out a hitch, the barn looked great thanks to Darren and Chris. We could have chosen to get married anywhere but we decided the barn because it's unique, and it's perfect for us, it's our style we love our barn and we take pride in what we do, so why wouldn't we want it as our venue for the most special day of our lives! Casey and I had an AMAZING time, all of our guests had amazing time, laughing , dancing, pictures, eating!!! We hired Inez Bennett as our wedding planner and coordinator, it was hard for me to distance my self from working my own wedding to just being a bride, and she told me constantly "I will handle this, don't worry" and she did. Her staff were truly amazing so attentive, checked on us throughout the night. I would recommend her to everyone. Our caterer was Vitella Catering Ally and Franco and their staff were amazing, everyone loved the food, they were there for us every step of the way, thank you for everything! Our photographer was Cherryville Photography Elisa was amazing we cannot wait to see the pictures! she is so talented, she stuck to the timeline and got every picture we wanted! We used Peter Mackey for our Videography , he does amazing work, he was so attentive, fun to work with just amazing we wait to see everything completed! Fantasy Productions as our DJ Bob who is also the owner was truly amazing, he did everything we had asked him to do, people were dancing like the whole time which is what we wanted!!!!! Our florist was Maribel Pina from Flowers by Gbella, just amazing work, our vision came to light, her team just did an amazing job. We did a unique woodland theme and it was perfect, so much time and effort went into everything!!!!!!!! We had Metrophoto Bus Fred and Sarah, we used their camper Penny everyone loved taking their pictures in there, we received the pictures and they are hilarious! Our cake was from Cake Fiction and DELICIOUS!!!! We had specialty chocolates and macaroons from Chocodiem. Everyone loved them!!!!! We had so much fun on our day!! This would not have been possible without these wonderful people being a part of it , so thank you!!! Just a truly BEAUTIFUL day. If i could i would do this again the same way, with no changes! THANK YOU! -

My husband and I got married at Jack’s Barn in October and would recommend the venue to anyone looking for an elegant barn in an authentic rustic setting. We received many compliments on the unique space and the charm of the venue, and everyone had a great time. Darren and Demi were always very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had, and I had a lot of them! They thoroughly worked with us along the way to make sure that we had a great day.
We were also supposed to stay at their sister property, 20 Belvidere both the night before and the night of our wedding. However, there was an unfortunate situation with a broken boiler the day before our wedding that made this impossible. This threw a major wrench into a lot of plans, but Darren offered to help us secure other accommodations quickly, which was appreciated as there was not much time to do so. They then allowed early entrance to the bridal suite and were very flexible and accommodating as our needs changed. Our rehearsal dinner was also scheduled to be at 20 Belvidere, and Darren was kind enough to let us hold our dinner there even with the boiler issue. Since there was no heat, he and his staff made sure that the fireplaces were lit and constantly manned so our guests and the catering staff could be comfortable.
Our wedding day also had some unexpected challenges, but Darren, Demi, and Chris worked with us to make sure that everything ran as smoothly as it possibly could. The extra efforts they undertook were greatly appreciated, and I feel confident that they would go above and beyond for future couples as well. Roxana Sent on 10/11/2017I recently had my wedding at Jacks Barn this past September. The place is absolutely gorgeous! My guest are still talking about how beautiful it was. My wedding was nothing short then AMAZING! The staff was very helpful and accommodating since day 1! I worked primarily with Darren for almost the entire planning and he was so easy to deal with. I cannot thank him enough for helping me make my DREAM wedding become a reality. I totally recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a DIY style rustic venue. Also, use their preferred photographer Nick Speer!! He is the BEST and will capture all the special moments in his creative way.

We could not have picked a better venue for our July wedding! The day my now-husband and I did our first walk-through, we both said, "we can see our friends and family having a ton of fun at a party here." The space allowed us to use some great vendors that were very familiar with the space (caterer, photographer, florist), but we weren't limited and could also bring some in that were new to Jack's (band, liquor, officiant). Darren & Demi were involved from the get-go and we can't imagine working with anyone else on what ended up being one of the most special days of our lives. And make sure you check out the Bridal Suite! It was the perfect place to spend the day getting ready with my best friends, and an even more perfect spot to catch a few private moments with my husband between the ceremony and the reception. -
