We had our daughter’s wedding at, The Lodge at Richfield Heritage Preserve, on a Friday evening in April. It was perfect for a rustic/chic affair. The weather permitted that we were able to utilize the wood burning fireplace, outdoor patio and fire pit, which was a hit with the non-dancers! The Lodge is clean and well maintained, and has beautiful outdoor spaces! Sherri and her staff are very responsive with all communication, and were on hand the morning of to make sure all was going well. I would definitely recommend, The Lodge, for a beautiful wedding or event. -

Photographing a wedding at The Lodge at Richfield was an absolute delight. The venue's thoughtfully designed spaces and picturesque surroundings made capturing stunning moments a breeze. The staff was professional and accommodating, ensuring a seamless experience. For a venue that combines natural beauty with ease for photographers, The Lodge at Richfield deserves a solid five stars! -

This was the first and only venue we looked at for our reception. We hike at the preserve a few times a month and it is a special place for our family. It was affordable for what we wanted to spend. Shari was responsive whenever I had questions. The updates they made with the bathrooms and bridal suite made a difference too. The ambiance was natural and homey and there are photo ops galore!
Technically, the venue can fit 200 people, but if you plan on having a dance floor, there wouldn’t comfortably be room. We invited the full 200 capacity and about 140 or so attended. That was honestly the perfect amount to have a comfortable amount of space and a good amount of room for the dance floor, in my opinion.
I recommend paying for setup the night before if the venue is available to do that. It made the day-of so much easier because most of it was done! -

My husband and I are SO happy we found the Lodge for our wedding! The location is fabulous (central to all of our family and close to nearby hotels while still having a charming, woodsy setting) and the lodge itself was fantastic - with all the updates, we feel like we actually got an even better venue than we paid for! And compared to similar venues in the area, it was super reasonably priced, especially for indoor/outdoor space use, day-of use and prep time, A/C (a big deal for us), and flexibility with caterers/florists/etc. Bonus is that the property offers really stunning photo opportunities as well! Shari is such an amazing consultant: from our first meeting, we could tell that she cared about us and our event, was always easy to reach out to, and is very organized. I cannot sing the praises of the Lodge enough- it is a hidden gem here in Richfield and allowed us to have the exact wedding we dreamed of! -

Wedding couple- 10-8-22
The Lodge was the perfect wedding venue for us! It was low key and not crowded, but very nice and well put together! The scenery in the woods is beautiful and the lake ceremony site is amazing with colors in the fall!
Venue includes tables and chairs. -

We planned our wedding quickly, in three short months, after finding The Lodge. From the very beginning, Shari was there to help coordinate and provide tips. Our wedding turned out absolutely gorgeous, and all of our guests raves about the venue. Highly satisfied and would recommend (and have recommended) The Lodge at RHP a million times over. -

Beautiful location and amazing service!
We hosted our company Christmas Party at the Lodge and it was absolutely perfect! The space was large and Shari was amazing to work with. She helped ensure we had the set up we needed and recommended a great layout for what we were looking for. The fireplace gave a great home feel for the party and although we didn't use it, we loved the back outdoor area! We are already trying to plan when we can come back in the summer to take advantage of the space. Plenty of parking for guests and the new and upgraded facilities were great for our employees. -

This was one of the most magical days of our lives! Thank you Richfield Heritage Preserve! The location, the people, and the facilities were more than we could have ever asked for! Shari was phenomenal, she was the only person who could have helped us make our dream wedding into a reality at the Lodge. We appreciate all of her hard work, taking so much stress and guess work out of the process. Everything was great and transparent. No on nickel-and-dimed our perfect night. We also booked the Amity house to get ready and for the night of the wedding. It was beautifully restored, and the best decision so we didn't have to rush home on our wedding night. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! -

The Lodge was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and perfect for our wedding. All of the staff, especially Shari, were so kind and helpful and answered every question we had. The space is gorgeous inside and out, and you are able to create your dream event with whatever theme or aesthetic you desire. We also rented the Amity House, which is a gorgeous place available for the day or overnight. We used it to get ready, which allowed the groom/groomsmen and bride/bridesmaids to stay separate but have plenty of space. It was beautiful and provided so much space.
The Lodge also provided plenty of vendor recommendations that were super helpful!
We definitely recommend this place for a wedding or any other special event you are planning!! -
