The Lodge at MSL was absolutely wonderful. We got married in December and it had just snowed the day before so it was a literal white wonderland. We’ve also been there during the spring, and it is just as breathtaking. Sharon was our coordinator and she worked with us since 2024 and all throughout 2025. She was quick with her responses and made sure we were happy with our choices. I gave birth the month prior to our wedding and she definitely made sure our newborn was accommodated for. She also noticed that I was frazzled and stressed the night before and day of, but she took care of everything and made sure I had exactly what I needed and helped navigate the rehearsal and the day. Our guests would not stop raving about the food and it was all they would talk about during the holiday parties that followed. I’ve also heard compliments from my guests about how friendly the staff was during the event. We even requested our server from our tasting 7 months prior and she came the day that she’s typically off just to serve our sweetheart table. We would highly recommend the Lodge because they really do make you feel like family. -

The fantastic team at the Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake were able to make our dream wedding come true. Lindsay, our coordinator, is an absolute all-star and responded to all my questions and numerous inquiries throughout the planning process. She made sure we were all comfortable, knew what to do the day of, and really helped make everything beautiful. The lodge was an incredible place to get married! We had 180 guests on the perfect September weekend. We hosted welcome drinks on the East Beach on Friday night, the wedding at the Lodge, an afterparty at the Orchard, and a morning brunch also at the Orchard. Lindsay was our planner and she helped make sure everything was coordinated throughout the whole weekend. She was great at making all of our dreams achievable while adding her input when we were going a bit off course. We had around 100 guests staying at the cabins, and everyone loved their time at the resort during the wedding weekend as well. The whole place is incredibly manicured and gives you a sense of tranquility (with a lot of fish!) The Lodge helped us coordinate rentals during the weekend to make the events perfect including tents, a different style dance floor, and chairs. We highly recommend the Lodge, it is such a special place to get married! -

The Lodge was by far the easiest and most enjoyable part of our wedding planning, and we would choose them all over again in a heartbeat! It didn't take much for us to fall in love with this venue, but what really won us over was their incredible staff.
Lindsay was our event coordinator, and she is nothing short of amazing. From our very first meeting, she made us feel completely at ease with her warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine passion for making our day perfect. Lindsay went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and her calm, confident presence was exactly what we needed.
The culinary experience that the Lodge provided was equally as memorable as Lindsay's thoughtful coordination. We appreciated how effortless it was to fulfill the dietary needs of our guests. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It truly elevated the entire experience.
Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, and we owe so much of that to The Lodge and their dedicated staff. From start to finish, they created an atmosphere of joy, ease, and genuine care that we—and our guests—will never forget. We’re endlessly grateful to The Lodge for helping us create the most unforgettable day of our lives. -

Me and my hubby visited the lodge on a whim and it seemed expensive. We went to three other venues after that and realized that every spot basically costs the same, but most of them don't tell you what their price doesn't include. We booked the Lodge and had a dream wedding. The bridal spa is so amazing!!! We had the whole place to ourselves and Lindsay made sure we had everything we needed. After our wedding we received TWO thank you notes, which was pretty special. We only had our reception there, not our ceremony. If you're planning a wedding, put the salmon on the menu. This isn't a hotel conference salmon. omgomgomg so good #nomnom
Seriously tho: best day ever and we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere but The Lodge. -

We picked the perfect location for our April wedding…The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake! We are so, SO happy to have had this experience. Let me start by saying that we have a unique situation. My husband and I were together for nearly 19 years when he proposed; marriage was never on the table. But circumstances changed over our two decades together, and we decided to legally marry. As our conversations started, and we were considering a quick courthouse scenario, we realized that our 20th anniversary was on a Saturday. And so….we decided to do not just a formal wedding, but a whole wedding weekend! The Lodge was the FIRST decision we made, and anchored all other decisions and celebrations.
Family and close friends were invited to the Lodge, and all were dazzled. My dearest college friends, primarily from Main Line Philly and NYC, were KNOCKED OUT that such incredible food and perfect service existed in this beautiful corner of Pennsylvania. No one went hungry, and nearly all the wedding guests were turning away trays of hors d’oeuvres. They were just so happy and full! Everyone is still talking about the food. We, as a couple, over-selected our menu, for sure. We could have pared down our selections and everyone would STILL have had copious sustenance; the word ABUNDANT does not even begin to cover it. You will NOT be disappointed with your food at The Lodge, and no one does it better. I was a 46 year old first-time bride; I’ve been to LOTS of weddings across a huge spectrum of cost and geography. THIS is the place to have your wedding.
Most of the other vendors we booked came from The Lodge’s preferred vendor list. In fact, with the exception of my cake baker, every vendor came from that list! And it was perfect. They were all professional and easy to get along with. They were familiar with The Lodge and their expectations and fulfilled their roles unbelievably well. I can go and review them each on their own, but let me highly recommend Pocono Farm Stand for florals, Skuba Entertainment for DJ and photo booth, PixOlogy for photography, Erin McClelland for live music, Tami at the Cutting Post for hair, and Fawn Monique for makeup.
I chose to use a non-Lodge baker for my cake. The Front Porch Bake Shop worked so well with The Lodge, and Lindsay and everyone on site at The Lodge made my baker feel welcome and valued. There were no hiccups having booked a new vendor and I’m so pleased with the result.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed having The Lodge to ourselves. There were no confusions about what space was ours, guests lost at the wrong part of the venue, or anything like that. We felt like we had a private party- and we did! We didn’t have a wedding party or color theme, but decided to lean in HARD on the seasonal florals that started with the cake. We just let everything else happen, and the gorgeous neutral decor at The Lodge was perfect for that.

We are beyond thrilled with our choice of venue for our wedding! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking—immaculate, vibrant, and perfectly maintained. Every corner of the property was a picture-perfect backdrop for our special day.
The food exceeded all our expectations. Fresh, delicious, and with a fantastic variety, the menu options allowed us to create a dining experience that truly reflected our tastes. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the cocktail hour choices and thier meal, and the compliments kept coming for weeks!
A special shout-out to Lindsey, our coordinator, who made everything seamless. Her expertise, care, and organizational skills were unmatched. For months, she diligently answered our countless emails and calls, always with a warm and professional demeanor. On the wedding day, she was an absolute lifesaver—arriving early to ensure everything was set for the bridal party and managing every detail with grace. Lindsey coordinated with all our vendors and kept everything running smoothly, allowing us to enjoy every moment.Lindsey truly allowed us to be the guest of honor at our wedding, rather than a host.
The entire staff was fantastic—kind, energetic, and incredibly accommodating. Many of our guests stayed in the on-site cabins and had a fantastic weekend, which added to the overall enjoyment of our celebration.
For any couples searching for a wedding venue, this lodge is truly a gem. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or a better team to help make our day so special!

Perfect day
our wedding day was in August 2023 and it was PERFECT. sharon is a total rockstar and she and the team at MSL ensured our day was what we pictured. from the bridal suite and the groomsmen suite to the last dance, everything was perfect. sharon was responsive and efficient throughout the planning process and im so thankful we found MSL for our wedding day!!! -

The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake was the first wedding venue we visited. We met with Sharon; she is so friendly, welcoming, calming and detail-oriented. When she talked with us and we toured the grounds, we knew in our hearts The Lodge was the right venue for us. Its natural beauty served as the best decoration so you didn't necessarily need to go overboard with your own decorations. It felt like a destination wedding for our guests. Also, the food options are amazing; our families and guests kept talking about it!! The wedding planning process was so organized based on timelines given that each phase was seamless to coordinate. We knew we could put out trust in Sharon and the wonderful team at The Lodge to help make our day beautiful and special! And it was...the staff took care of us and we experienced a picture perfect day with great weather! -

The moment we toured The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort, we knew it was the one! The atmosphere and the natural elements got us right away. Sharon, our venue coordinator, was so helpful and informative during each meeting. Even after having a slight miscommunication during the rehearsal, Sharon resolved it very quickly. The food was also AMAZING! (my mouth is still watering from the mandarin salmon). The onsite cabins for guests is another piece that sold us on this venue. I loved that we could give our guests two lodging options; onsite cabins or a nearby hotel. The cabins definitely helped bring the unique wedding element we were looking for, and all of our guests raved about the cabin experience and how it helped turned this wedding into a mini-getaway lake cabin weekend. I would definitely recommend this venue! -

We loved the Lodge! My fiance and I were looking for a venue with on-sight accommodations, which is what brought us to the Lodge. Working with Sharon was amazing as she helped us every step of the way and made sure our wedding day moved like clockwork. She is a true professional and expert. This was the night before our ceremony BUT there was a freak storm that ripped up trees and blocked roads all around the venue, and my family was trying to get in/out for rehearsal dinner. The Lodge maintenance crew were absolute all stars and got out there to clear trees from the roads in a flash. Back to the wedding - we had a modified vision for the ceremony and the Lodge helped make it happen. Everyone really liked the food, and the location was perfect for our families. Oh and the wait staff/bar tenders are all awesome! I only have good things to say. We also had our after party at the Orchard, a super cool location on site. Our guests loved the bonfire vibe for keeping the party going. During the weekend my cousins took the rowboats out, and both our dads were able to go fishing. I might be reviewing more of Mountain Springs Lake Resort than just the Lodge but I only have good things to say about everything. -

I have too many good things to say about Mountain Springs than I can type in this review. My husband and I got married in the July and everything was truly perfect. Sharon was our coordinator and she was amazing. She walked us through every step of the process and kept us on track. She was organized, responsive, excellent communication - I would send her tons of emails and she always got back to me same day - and just an overall kind person and great person to work with. She thought of everything and I never even felt stressed with the planning process. Seriously, Mountain Springs takes care of everything for you. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Most of our guests stayed on property and Nadine was also fantastic to work with. The cabins are gorgeous and cozy and all of our guests raved about them. The food was incredible - I got so many compliments on the food, many saying it was the best wedding food they ever had. And the best thing about Mountain Springs is that they take care of the food, bar, and cake, so you don't have to get any outside vendors for that. They had great recommendations for our other vendors too. We chose them all from their list (our DJ, photographers, Florist, and Hair/Makeup) and they were all amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience from when we started planning a year and half ago to the big day itself. I have so many good things to say…where do I even begin!?
How about with the food…I had heard people say the Lodge’s food was great, but holy moly they were not lying! First of all, there was SO MUCH food. We chose the buffet option which was served family style at the tables. We had mac & cheese, onion crusted chicken, vegetable lasagna, and a couple other options. Every dish was amazing. Everyone we talked to during the evening remarked how full they were because they ate their fill and there were leftovers. The next thing people said was how delicious that food was. Months later, guests are still telling us about how great our wedding food was. Every hors d’oeurve was top notch too! The staff even made sure that my husband and I got a platter with samples of each hors d’oeurve at our sweetheart table just in case we missed one during cocktail hour. I thought that was very thoughtful. Service throughout the night was excellent as well.
The scenery at the Lodge is gorgeous in any season. We got married in June, but we had meetings all throughout the year on the property and it was beautiful all year round. There are so many spots for photos and we were able to take full advantage of the lake for our wedding photos. And speaking of meetings…the staff at the Lodge was excellent to work with. From our first tour to the moment we waved goodbye, they were nothing but gracious, helpful, kind, and supportive. We worked with Sharon who helped us to plan all the details-big and small. She always made me feel like I was her only client even though I obviously was not! Meetings felt like a conversation with a friend instead of like a formality. She treated us with loads of patience while I asked a ton of questions and while I figured out exactly the way I wanted things to go during our wedding day. Sharon guided me into what would work best, and she was right at every turn. She made sure the day was perfect from beginning to end and she was very easy to communicate with.
I will tell everyone I meet how glad I was that we chose the Lodge for our wedding. It was worth every penny, and I know it was the exact right choice for us.

Perfect Wedding Weekend
We had our wedding at The Lodge this September and it was better than anything I could have dreamed of! We rented out the whole resort for the weekend and the staff at Mountain Springs Lake Resort/The Lodge went above and beyond to make it a high-class, professionally coordinated experience from start to finish. Thursday night was our rehearsal and welcome party, Friday was our wedding, and Saturday was a casual "goodbye" beach party. We are still getting calls and notes from our guests months later saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to and they cannot wait to go back to the resort! Oh and the food....truly worthy of a 5-star restaurant. Our coordinator at The Lodge gave us the perfect recommendations for scheduling, photographers, florists, and overall planning/details for the whole weekend. We could not have pulled it together without them. They took so much heavy lifting off of my shoulders that planning an entire weekend full of events felt like a breeze. Thank you to the entire team at MSL and The Lodge for making our wedding weekend dreams come true! -

The Lodge was the first venue that my husband and I toured. From the moment we drove onto the property and walked into the Lodge for the first time, we were blown away. It is absolutely gorgeous! The large floor to ceiling windows provide beautiful natural lighting and make you feel like you are outdoors. Following our tour, we immediately booked our wedding date and canceled all future tours with other venues. We knew it was THE ONE. Our coordinator, Sharon, was absolutely wonderful! She was super responsive to all of our emails and truly a blessing as she helped make our wedding dreams a reality. She relieved so much of our stress and really made our wedding day run smoothly allowing us to enjoy every second of our big day. The food at the Lodge is the best I've ever had at a wedding. It is all so delicious, cooked to perfection, and displayed beautifully. They also have SO many unique choices on the menu. Our guests are still talking about our wedding and how much they loved the venue, food, music, and service. I truly cannot say enough good things about the Lodge. Amazing!
My husband & I recently had our wedding on Oct. 10 2021. I can not even express enough how much us as well as our guests loved the lodge. We booked our wedding 2 years ago and patiently waited for the day (which was everything and more) we spent the weekend at the lodge with 50+ of our family & friends. The suites we stayed in were absolutely stunning, extremely spacious and extremely well kept! The cabins on the lake are so BEAUTIFUL as well. Waking up to the fresh crisp air and looking out on the beautiful lake in the fall was one of the main reasons we picked this venue. My guests are still talking about it! The food was amazing along with the staff. They didn’t miss a beat. We had an after party at the orchard which my guest appreciated so much. We had the fire pit and hired a food truck & had a beer wall delivered. It was so relaxing and cozy. Sharron is the best coordinator, she went above and beyond to perfect everything I asked for and was truly a pleasure to work with. I truly can’t thank her enough. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owners Robin & Bill. They were sweetest and accommodated us in every way possible. It will be a day we will forever remember. If you’re looking for a venue within Pennsylvania to fully grasp the beautiful atmosphere it holds as well as great service, this is a great venue!The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake's reply:

From the moment we stepped into The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake and were warmly welcomed by Sharon and the staff, my husband and I knew that this was the place we wanted to be married. Perfect Experience - Highly Recommend!
Having my wedding at the Lodge at MSLR was such an amazing experience, and I cannot recommend them enough! From the moment my husband and I first visited and met Sharon, we could tell that this was a special place. The amount of care and attention everyone we worked with provided throughout the entire planning process was superb. Cindy was our planner and day of coordinator, and handled so many details that my experience as the bride was as painless as possible. The outdoor ceremony space and indoor reception hall are BEAUTIFUL and kept in fantastic condition, and Cindy and her team set up all of the minimal decor I provided with such thoughtfulness and added so many special touches throughout the venue. The food was FANTASTIC - the best my husband and I have had at any wedding we've been to, and our guests raved about it. All of the staff were so wonderful and kind throughout our wedding day, making sure that we ate, treating us like VIP throughout, and even sending us home with leftovers, which we thoroughly enjoyed the day after. I'm so grateful that we were able to have our wedding at MSLR, and wholeheartedly recommend them! -

We are so thankful we chose MSL and can say that because we chose them we had the most magical day (and weekend) of our lives. We loved the intimacy of this venue and that there is only one wedding per day. Having friends and family stay in cabins on the gorgeous lake is also a total bonus! Getting married under huge canopy trees (next to a pond) and right by the beautiful historic Lodge + red barn was like a dream. We weren’t sure the weather would hold out and the great news is getting married inside the Lodge would have still be just as nice (basically all the walls are glass windows - just gorgeous -- and the green trees are all so visible). Luckily the weather held out for us and we were one with nature on our big day. I have friends who told me our wedding was literally the best wedding or one of the best weddings they have ever attended and MSL was a huge part of why. The Lodge was very supportive, attentive and helped us with any of our specific requests. Cindy was incredibly detailed focused (which I needed) and was always responsive and thorough in all our planning leading up. Cindy, Lindsay, Robyn and Pam made sure that on the day of, everything was covered. I did not have to worry about one single thing. No bride should! We loved the food and our guests only had positive things to say about the hors d'oeuvres, main course and desserts! Photos on the lake are a photographer’s dream and we were blown away by the lake and roads with high trees scenery (amazing first look back drop). We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. My husband’s family worked with Robyn & Pam directly for using the pavilion for our Welcome Party Friday night and sounds like they were a dream to work with too. The party was a fun BBQ and such an amazing way to kick things off with our guests. Can you say fire pit for s'mores? AMAZING! Ben was also very helpful in our Welcome Party planning! We got married labor day weekend so on Sunday we had a bagels and mimosas on the beach (West Lake) - the sun was shining and we hung out in floaties and played corn hole with our guests - it was the perfect relaxing way to end the perfect weekend at MSL. Book MSL before it fills up - if we could do it again, we would 100% choose MSL. Insider Tip- as soon as you book, work with the office to book cabins for all your guests as soon as you can - the cabins can fill up quickly! :) MSL will always be a special place to us and we look forward to coming back in years to come to celebrate our anniversary! THANK YOU SO MUCH CINDY AND MSL! We love you guys and thank you for making our wedding weekend the best weekend ever. -

Everybody who attended couldn't stop raving about it, saying it was the best wedding they had been to! Our wedding was supposed to be outdoors, but due to rain it was moved inside and it was just as beautiful. If I had to do it again, I'd pick the lodge all over again!

Kelli Sent on 10/27/2017Honestly it was the best day ever! I got married just last month and had a romantic, rustic wedding which the Lodge is the PERFECT place for! The staff was absolutely amazing! They executed my vision of the day even better than what I thought, which is even more difficult since I planned my wedding from California! The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious, my friends and family are still talking about how delicious everything was from hors d'oeuvres to main course to the cake and desserts! Another great accommodation they have is the cabins so your guests can stay on the property which is perfect for partying guests and bridal parties! I honestly cannot speak highly enough about the staff and everyone involved in making me and my guests feel like royalty! I wish I could get married again!

Rhonda Sent on 10/26/2017Our daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Corey, had their wedding at The Lodge in August. The setting is so beautiful and was perfect for the outdoor ceremony and photographs. We enjoyed every minute of our special day. Cindy and the staff took care of everything, and we were able to just relax and enjoy a great time with family and friends. Everyone raved about the food and loved everything from the cocktail hour out on the patio to the sparkler sen-off of the bride and groom. As mother of the bride, the best thing of all was having my daughter say her wedding day was all she dreamed it would be.

The service, food (our guests said that, hands-down, it was the best wedding food they've ever had), and ambiance were outstanding!!! Staying on the property with most of our guest was also the way to go. We highly recommend booking accommodations there, but you have to reserve cabins as soon as physically possible, because The Lodge and Resort are separate when it comes to booking. I HIGHLY and whole-heartedly recommend Mountain Springs Lake Resort!! -

From the early planning stages up until the day of the wedding and even after, Cindy has been so helpful in answering my questions, keeping me on track and following a detailed timeline, and just simply ensuring that our day was perfect. The location itself is absolutely beautiful and perfect for an outdoor wedding. Other venues that I had visited were unsure about using me arriving on horseback, and the Lodge gave me no problems -- in fact, they loved the idea! The food is AMAZING! In fact, when we went to the food tasting, we sat at a table with another couple. The soon-to-be husband was actually a chef, and was told by other chefs that this location is the BEST wedding venue when it comes to food. And he was right. Three months later our guests are still talking about the cocktail hour, the chicken, and prime rib! The staff was also wonderful and did everything they could to accommodate guests, and were especially good with the guests that had food allergies. My day was so wonderful that I wish I could do it all over again!!! -

User1647427 Sent on 06/04/2014If you want a scenic, private, and unique place to get married, MSL is the place for you! MSL is a beautiful place to get married.
The Lodge is an updated building that is freshly painted and has a full wall of windows to let in natural light. The windows overlook the red barn, pond, and outdoor ceremony site. We got married outside and it was beautiful in the fall.
The food was amazing and the complimentary menu testing was a lot of fun and delicious! We got so many compliments on our menu choices.
There are also places for the wedding party to get ready on site, which was so much fun! The bridal party got ready in the bridal suite, which is a small building right next to the Lodge. Our hair stylists and make up artists came to MSL to do everything on site! The Groomsmen got ready in the second floor of the Lodge.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were very organized and willing to personalize my wedding day with all of the decorations that I brought in.
The cottages around the lake made a perfect weekend stay for some of our guests. The complimentary bride and groom suite was very romantic.
I highly recommend MSL!
