I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience working with Mary Kate and The Local Bouquet team! From the moment we started planning the florals for our wedding, Mary Kate truly went above and beyond. She took the time to understand our vision and style, making us a vision board and providing insights and recommendations along the way. Not only did she design all of our florals, but she designed our tables as well and provided candles, hurricanes and additional decor. The set up process was seamless, and our florals were more beautiful than I could have possibly dreamed. We are so thankful to Mary Kate and her team for helping to make our wedding the best day of our lives and would recommend them time and time again! -

Phenomenal Designer!!
Mary Kate and the entire staff at The Local Bouquet is just so darn talented and attentive! They made the entire process so simple and personalized. Mary Kate will help you dream big, pulling from her extensive and exquisite design work at multiple luxury wedding venues in coastal RI & MA. Then she'll work with you to make the rest of the planning process simple, exciting, and GORGEOUS! She uses the freshest, most in season florals from local farmers in the East Bay to create the most beautiful and refreshing designs. This is a female-owned and operated business who truly deserves your consideration! You will be speechless on your wedding day - I was! Highly recommend! Thank you for making our wedding day unique, exquisite, and soooo very special! -

MaryKate and her team CRUSHED it!! We fell in love with her florals at a wedding we attended in Block Island, and she was just as amazing at our wedding! She executed the florals of our dreams. She was attentive to our vision and extremely responsive. We met multiple times, did a walk through of the venue and her execution was perfect!! She was so dedicated to my vision, she even painted vases for the head table! I could not recommend the Local Bouquet more!! -

Best florist ever!
I had a stressful wedding planning experience during the start of the pandemic. Mary Kate made sure to keep in touch with me for almost two years to help me through the planning process, during postponements and venue changes to make sure I was going to be happy with my flowers. When my wedding day finally came, I was met with a rain and not a very well thought out back up plan. Mary Kate made a quick arch with flowers when I had to move my ceremony inside and you would have thought we had planned for it to be that way! I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience with her. If you are considering using her for your wedding you will not be disappointed!! -

I am so happy that I was able to work with Mary Kate and The Local Bouquet for my wedding. I recommend her highly. She was prompt and responsive in all communication. I don't know flowers well but had an overall feel in mind. She was able to translate my wishes and bring them to life. I liked the company's approach of all American grown flowers and locally sourcing as much of the material as possible. If you follow the company's Instagram, you see that they truly have amazing relationships with the farms in the area. A significant amount of the flowers at my wedding were grown right around the venue. Mary Kate was able to make suggestions of flowers that looked similar to flowers I liked but could be sourced locally. I would pick the Local Bouquet again without a second thought! -

Perfectly Perfect
Mary Kate and her Local Bouquet team were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond with our wedding florals. We had an idea of the colors, flowers and look we wanted. The arrangements they designed from ceremony florals, to the bouquets, centerpieces and even an incredible hedge that spanned the length of our band’s stage, the arrangements surpassed our dreams. They were so creative, patient and professional and the stunning flowers highlighted and added to the natural beauty of our venue. They hand selected the best blooms for our wedding and the fact that all are US grow and many grow locally in RI during September is so special to me. Knowing we’ll see them grow each year when we celebrate our anniversary in RI is a gift. Given all that Mary Kate and her team created for our wedding, while working within our budget, we know they are capable of making anything happen. Our day was perfectly perfect and we are so grateful. -

Diana Sent on 11/05/2017Mary Kate was beyond what we were hoping for. After having a bad experience with another florist, we were looking for a company that we could trust and rely on, that we knew had a high-end product. Mary Kate blew us away with her arrangements for our wedding keeping within the color palette we sent her. We really wanted a mix of succulents and wildflowers with bouquets that were unique and stunning and that was exactly what we got. She is a true artist, the pictures tell it all. Through-ought the wedding process she became our confidant on a number of things even outside florals. The Local Bouquet was one of our favorite vendors we signed on for the wedding. The product was past the budget we were anticipating initially but now looking back we have zero regrets. You get what you pay for but with Mary Kate and her team we got event more than we were expecting. I was wowed at the site of her website but my mouth literally dropped when she brought the flowers to the bridal room. All my girls were in aww and I expect all of her clients to be as well. Don't keep debating, sign on The Local Bouquet!

Mary Kate was professional and also let us into her personal life- loved following her stories on social media and being able to see her whole process of creating her craft from start to finish. She made us a gorgeous story board and was open to my needy communication as an antsy bride.

From the first consultative phone call, it was clear that Mary Kate was a passionate artist with the knowledge and skills to bring our fall wedding vision to life -- I had complete trust in her to bring our conversation to fruition in the best way possible. I loved that The Local Bouquet focuses on locally grown flowers and uses what's fresh and available for beautiful, natural, and modern arrangements and bouquets -- it helped us celebrate the state we were married in (very close to my heart) and truly capture the feel of late September.
The Local Bouquet provided us with the bridal bouquet, corsages and boutonnières, bridesmaid bouquets, and all the floral/decor arrangement at our reception venue. In the planning process, Mary Kate offered constant consultation, taking our mood boards and ideas and making them more beautiful with recommendations such as the addition of fruits and vegetables in our long table runners. The result was lots of textured greenery, various types of plants, and at at once soft-but-bold fall palette that I never could have imagined on my own. When I first saw the bridal bouquet, I had to stop myself from crying and ruining all that fresh makeup!
Thanks so much to The Local Bouquet for all of your help in making our day absolutely gorgeous! I would definitely recommend them to anyone hosting an event in the area!
