This place was everything we wished for and more, Maggie is amazing and was so helpful every step of the way. Truly worth every penny. Only thing I did not like was having to push my guest inside early due to surrounding neighbors complaining of the noise but other than that, this place is amazingThe Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina's reply:

A hidden gem in the Bay Area!

~ THE AMBIANCE ~
Are we in the Bay or are we in Hawaii? Newport Beach? Is this even Vallejo?
Karlo and I toured two other venues before visiting the Lighthouse well over a year ago and immediately fell in love with the lush greenery, the palm trees, and the view overlooking the water. The Lighthouse felt like a destination even though it's in the Bay Area. It truly is a hidden gem and we got a lot of questions from our guests as to how we found this place.
As a kid, I would often go to Suisun for the weekends with my Lola (Grandma) to visit family. The Carquinez bridge was pretty much the halfway point to getting home or to my Aunt's place – Crossing the Bridge and seeing the C&H Sugar factory served as a marker and indicator for me that I was almost home or almost there.
At the venue, there is a pathway that leads to a lookout point where you'll see both the bridge and the sugar factory, and it was then we knew that we were going to get married here.
~ THE VENUE ~
The venue has two lawn areas which naturally lend themselves to a ceremony or cocktail hour space. It's absolutely beautiful. We had our ceremony on the East Lawn (smaller lawn area to the left when facing the Lighthouse from the parking lot). It has a downward slope which made for an ampitheater like setting. We used the green palms as a backdrop for our ceremony and to be honest - it's beautiful as is even without decor.
The bigger lawn area is where we had our Cocktail hour and it was the perfect setting and large enough to host 92 guests.
We wanted an all in one space where we could have the ceremony and reception at one place, and the Lighthouse offered that. The indoor banquet hall fit our guest count and the windows all around gave a spectacular view to the marina and the sun set. The only downside is the four pillars that hold up the Lighthouse as it does block the view in certain angles especially when my husband and I had our first dance; however, guests got out of their seats to have a closer look.
The kitchen also isn't a full kitchen so be aware of this. There's no stove to cook on or to keep food warm, and there is no ice machine. This one didn't really affect us as we had paella catered and everything was done outside on the paella pans and burners.
The biggest selling point is the inn upstairs which accommodates up to 8 guests. Our brothers have younger children and we knew that this would be most convenient for them as the kids nap/are in need of a diaper change/need an area to pump. We had two guests who needed to pump and it was nice to be able to offer a comfortable place for them to do so in privacy without having to take up a bathroom stall in the hall.
The inn is well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the decor is tasteful and we loved how history was incorporated in the small touches. It really made for beautiful getting ready photos and was such a pleasure to wake up to a view like that.
~ THE PEOPLE ~
As if the venue is not enough, the people behind the Lighthouse are truly the heart of it all. Crystal, Maggie and Alma like a what lighthouse does, guided us throughout the planning process, checked-in and made sure we were okay throughout the evening. They were so kind through it all and even made sure that my elderly parents were comfortable as mobility is an issue. We booked our vendors based on two things: kindness & connection, and we will never take for granted the hospitality they have offered us both leading up to our Wedding day and on the day-of. Thank you for everything!
All in all, if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind, intimate venue, the Lighthouse is it. My husband and I are already looking forward to planning another event here in the near future!

Most beautiful venue!
We were looking for a beautiful low key venue for our wedding. The Lighthouse was by far even better than we imagined! We primarily worked with Maggie who was fantastic! She was very realistic when it came to helping us stay within our budget and gave us some excellent vendor recommendations accordingly. We had a few meetings with her along the way and she listened to what we wanted and helped us stay on task getting everything sorted out. She was super flexible and accommodating with us on the day of the wedding. Maggie and Alma were both there the day of the wedding and they were both busy making sure everything was running smoothly! In addition to how wonderful they are, this venue is the most beautiful! We used the outside and inside area. We heard from several of our guests that it was the most beautiful venue (and wedding 😜) they had attended! We have the absolute best memories from this day and wouldn’t change a thing!The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina's reply:

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina on March 31, 2022. Our wedding was the best day ever for us, it was our kind of perfect! We loved the fact that we were able to have our wedding ceremony and reception all at one place. Truly a hidden gem in Vallejo! Throughout the wedding planning process Maggie and the Lighthouse Team were kind, professional and attentive. Maggie would schedule walk-thru meetings with us at the venue to help us visualize how we wanted our wedding day to look like and she answered all are questions efficiently. Maggie made us feel at ease, super thankful for all of her suggestions. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful! So dreamy, elegant, intimate and serene! Everywhere you’d look was absolutely stunning! Perfect place to have a wedding! Our family and friends, were so amazed by the venue and couldn’t believe that we were in Vallejo. The Lighthouse Inn was also convenient for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the day of our wedding. It’s super clean, spacious and well decorated. Thank you Lighthouse Team for making our wedding day so magical! I would definitely recommend The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina to anyone in need of a fabulous venue! -

I just want to start off this review by saying CRYSTAL IS THE BEST. Literally the best coordinator ever. My husband and I were extremely happy with everything The Lighthouse provided. We first booked with them back in early 2019 for our 2020 wedding. Unfortunately due to COVID we had to postpone our event to November 2020. Crystal and The Lighthouse were extremely accommodating with the postponement change. Around August 2020 we still weren't feeling comfortable with all that was going on with the pandemic so we requested another postponement. Again, they were more than accommodating with postponing to November 2021. Communication was perfect. As we got closer to the date we were in constant communication with Crystal and she made us feel like everything was going to go great (it did!). On the day of the event, all was perfect. I didn't have to worry about a thing because she was there and took care of literally EVERYTHING. My husband and I were so happy with all she did for us and the venue was beautiful. I felt like the day went perfect and a huge part of that was because of her. I feel like this review is just all about Crystal now but we really could not have done all of this without her and her brilliance. She made the whole planning process a breeze and even though there were so many things to do, she was with us the whole way and was our #1 cheerleader. Anyone that is lucky enough to get her as a coordinator will be in extremely good hands. We are so happy that we went with The Lighthouse and it was one of the best days we've ever had! -

I worked with the Lighthouse for a birthday party that was planned on short notice. We were so lucky that they were available for the date. Maggie and Crystal were so responsive and wonderful to work with. They were so amazing the day of the event and helped us pull it off seamlessly. The venue is a total hidden gem with gorgeous views. There are so many options to customize your event to make it perfect for your style and design. I loved working with The Lighthouse and I can't wait to come back! -

The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina is the perfect space to host any special event and Crystal and her team are the perfect people to coordinate it.
Crystal and the lighthouse team single handedly delivered us our dream wedding. From the first time we visited, we knew the venue was special but little did we know how awesome our experience would be. My now husband and I started on our wedding journey at the end of March 2021 and with the wedding boom of 2022 approaching, we chose to get married in 6 months, October 2021. The short window from engagement to wedding threw another obstacle into wedding planning but we came to Crystal with exactly what we wanted and she delivered. Crystal has relationships with all the top vendors and provided us with all the tips, tricks and assistance to execute the most perfect day. Her attention to detail was so appreciated, since no bride really knows what goes into wedding planning. She was with me every step of the way. Crystal thought of every single detail when it came to every single decision and never minded writing it all out for us and sharing all the information we needed. When our wedding weekend came, there was a change in the weather( every brides nightmare), and Crystal was able to pivot the whole day into something incredible, something even better than what we had originally planned for. We had had several meetings before the big day with Crystal at the lighthouse so when the wedding finally came, we felt SO comfortable there and it truly felt like we were hosting our favorite people at our fav place! The lighthouse was so clean, updated, came with the very best amenities. The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina is the perfect space to host any special event and Crystal and her team are the perfect people to coordinate it. Thank you so much Crystal, Maggie and Joelle, we look SO fondly on our experience and time spent with you! -

The Lighthouse was the perfect place for our vintage nautical romantic wedding. If you are looking for a place that near the water, quaint and very clean then you will be very happy here. We worked mostly with Joelle and Maggie and their expertise was exemplary. We stayed in the inn upstairs and that was wonderful too! -

I'm so glad my husband and I found this place when looking for a wedding venue. He immediately fell in love with the well-kept property. It is filled with trees and green lawns that make you feel like you're on an island vacation. Having the stay in the Inn also made this an easy decision as we had a place to get ready and stay at the end of the evening. It's also great that they have an indoor and outdoor option for the reception.
We worked with Crystal from the beginning starting with a virtual tour (due to Covid) and met her in person a few times to look at the venue in person as well. She was absolutely great to work with and the whole team (Joelle and Maggie) were available for questions as well. I hope to attend an event here one day where I can just sit back and enjoy (not as a Bride haha).The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina's reply:

Amazing!!!
Super late review (we were waiting for our wedding photos), but we got married on July 30th at the lighthouse and it was AMAZING! The venue is so gorgeous that we bought budget friendly flowers and no other real wedding decor and it was still so beautiful!
The venue staff were super helpful from our initial zoom call, to days after the wedding. I definitely want to give a shout-out to Joelle for all her help!! She answered all our questions via email, put any stress we had on our wedding day at ease, and helped us retrieve glasses left behind by a bridesmaid! We hired a day-of-coordinator with very little experience, and looking back, we wished we asked Joelle instead!!
Finally, we wanted to mention that our wedding had about 110 guest and I think that was the perfect amount for enough seating, a welcome table, buffet table, dessert table, DJ booth, bar, and a big dance floor inside the venue. We could have added an additional table for another 10 guests, without losing our dance floor, but it would have been in the back corner by our bar which wouldn't be the greatest seating in terms of head table or dance floor views.

Let me start off with my coordinator, Brittanie. She was just AMAZING! My husband and I got so many compliments on her professionalism but also on how kind she was. Her good vibe bounced off my bridal party and she kept everything under control. Brittanie made our wedding events flow very well, she communicated with all of our vendors as well as with us in every detail, she saw our vision and really made our dream wedding come true. Although she was just our coordinator for the day, she went above and beyond the one day.
As for the venue itself, our guests loved the scenic view and vintage feel of the building. It was so beautiful that a photobooth wasn't needed. The venue itself served as a great background. We bought the deluxe package and it was worth it. Almost everything was included from the chairs, to tables, to linens, and so much more. Also, having use of the inn above the venue was incredibly convenient for the bridal party and myself.
So yes, my husband and I recommend this place to anybody who wants a beautiful wedding at a fair price.

The venue was perfect for our wedding! From the moment we inquired we felt like we were in the right hands. Each staff member understands how important the wedding is, and they are with you every step of the way. So quick to answer questions, schedule additional appointments, and provide expert suggestions. My wife and I were so happy and felt so supported throughout the whole process. Questions and concerns and wedding stress were always met with understanding and flexibility. We were also soooo lucky to have worked with Dani as our onsite coordinator, who made sure to prioritize our needs and wants as the couple the entire time. She made us feel so at ease during our meetings, and ensured that our wedding day went by seamlessly. Amazing venue! Amazing staff!
When looking for a venue, my husband and I wanted to get married at a venue that had a rich history and a sense of wanderlust to it. From the moment we inquired about the venue, to actually booking the venue, the staff was amazing. They worked so hard to make sure our wedding day went smoothly. We are also so grateful to Dani! Our wedding coordinator, she answered so many of our questions, and put us at ease when things got stressful. She worked so hard to make sure that our day was perfect. We are so so grateful to her! And the whole team, who worked just as hard to make our day special. I would 10/10 recommend this venue! -

I cannot say enough good things about The Lighthouse and the staff! I knew I wanted to get married here from the moment I saw it! My husband and I knew we wanted to do a tropical themed wedding and I wanted a venue with palm trees. The Lighthouse was the perfect place to make our tropical dreams come true. We used the coordination services and worked mostly with Brittanie. We were able to meet with her 3 times before our wedding and she just made everything so easy! Everything I may have overlooked, she was there to help me! I was so stressed I would forget something but Brittanie had my back every step of the way. I loved how everything at The Lighthouse could be customized to our liking. We were able to find our own vendors but were also given recommendations when we needed them. We were able to make our wedding truly personal, unlike some other wedding venues that make you purchase packages or use their vendors. Downtown Benicia is close by so our guests were able to stay in hotels nearby. My husband and I loved staying in the Inn the night of our wedding . The Lighthouse is such a beautiful venue and we still get compliments about what a great venue we chose. Absolutely the best place to get married!The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina's reply:

We could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding. The Lighthouse has beautiful views of the Glen Cove Marina and the landscaping is amazing! It's perfect for either an indoor or outdoor reception! They were able to accommodate our wedding of 160 guests and made the entire planning process as easy as possible.
I highly recommend that you use their day of coordination services. We worked with Crystal and she had everything so well organized, it took a lot of the pressure and stress out of the day for me as the bride. She communicated with all of the vendors and really helped us bring together our vision for our special day.
The entire Lighthouse staff were so welcoming and made you feel like part of the Lighthouse family! I wish we could relive our perfect day over and over again. -

Linh Sent on 09/28/2018Where do I begin....The Lighthouse is beyond beautiful...the LH team's customer service goes beyond the expectation...the location is a tucked away gem. Everything you want in a venue is found at The Lighthouse. I had my wedding here in September 2018, and the weather was perfect for this beautiful venue. I can not stop raving about this place and all of my guests can't stop complimenting how beautiful our wedding was here. I'm so sad that our wedding is over because I miss our wedding coordinator, Brittanie, so much after working with her for a year. Yes, we knew we wanted this venue so badly from the first visit here that we booked The Lighthouse 1 year in advance! It was just that breath taking. My husband and I are so fortunate that we were one of the couples who can say that we had our wedding at The Lighthouse as this venue definitely gives you the feels of exclusivity. Thank you again for everything LH team...and Brittanie we miss you already!!!
