This place was everything we wished for and more, Maggie is amazing and was so helpful every step of the way. Truly worth every penny. Only thing I did not like was having to push my guest inside early due to surrounding neighbors complaining of the noise but other than that, this place is amazing -

A hidden gem in the Bay Area!

~ THE AMBIANCE ~
Are we in the Bay or are we in Hawaii? Newport Beach? Is this even Vallejo?
Karlo and I toured two other venues before visiting the Lighthouse well over a year ago and immediately fell in love with the lush greenery, the palm trees, and the view overlooking the water. The Lighthouse felt like a destination even though it's in the Bay Area. It truly is a hidden gem and we got a lot of questions from our guests as to how we found this place.
As a kid, I would often go to Suisun for the weekends with my Lola (Grandma) to visit family. The Carquinez bridge was pretty much the halfway point to getting home or to my Aunt's place – Crossing the Bridge and seeing the C&H Sugar factory served as a marker and indicator for me that I was almost home or almost there.
At the venue, there is a pathway that leads to a lookout point where you'll see both the bridge and the sugar factory, and it was then we knew that we were going to get married here.
~ THE VENUE ~
The venue has two lawn areas which naturally lend themselves to a ceremony or cocktail hour space. It's absolutely beautiful. We had our ceremony on the East Lawn (smaller lawn area to the left when facing the Lighthouse from the parking lot). It has a downward slope which made for an ampitheater like setting. We used the green palms as a backdrop for our ceremony and to be honest - it's beautiful as is even without decor.
The bigger lawn area is where we had our Cocktail hour and it was the perfect setting and large enough to host 92 guests.
We wanted an all in one space where we could have the ceremony and reception at one place, and the Lighthouse offered that. The indoor banquet hall fit our guest count and the windows all around gave a spectacular view to the marina and the sun set. The only downside is the four pillars that hold up the Lighthouse as it does block the view in certain angles especially when my husband and I had our first dance; however, guests got out of their seats to have a closer look.
The kitchen also isn't a full kitchen so be aware of this. There's no stove to cook on or to keep food warm, and there is no ice machine. This one didn't really affect us as we had paella catered and everything was done outside on the paella pans and burners.
The biggest selling point is the inn upstairs which accommodates up to 8 guests. Our brothers have younger children and we knew that this would be most convenient for them as the kids nap/are in need of a diaper change/need an area to pump. We had two guests who needed to pump and it was nice to be able to offer a comfortable place for them to do so in privacy without having to take up a bathroom stall in the hall.
The inn is well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the decor is tasteful and we loved how history was incorporated in the small touches. It really made for beautiful getting ready photos and was such a pleasure to wake up to a view like that.
~ THE PEOPLE ~
As if the venue is not enough, the people behind the Lighthouse are truly the heart of it all. Crystal, Maggie and Alma like a what lighthouse does, guided us throughout the planning process, checked-in and made sure we were okay throughout the evening. They were so kind through it all and even made sure that my elderly parents were comfortable as mobility is an issue. We booked our vendors based on two things: kindness & connection, and we will never take for granted the hospitality they have offered us both leading up to our Wedding day and on the day-of. Thank you for everything!
All in all, if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind, intimate venue, the Lighthouse is it. My husband and I are already looking forward to planning another event here in the near future!

Most beautiful venue!
We were looking for a beautiful low key venue for our wedding. The Lighthouse was by far even better than we imagined! We primarily worked with Maggie who was fantastic! She was very realistic when it came to helping us stay within our budget and gave us some excellent vendor recommendations accordingly. We had a few meetings with her along the way and she listened to what we wanted and helped us stay on task getting everything sorted out. She was super flexible and accommodating with us on the day of the wedding. Maggie and Alma were both there the day of the wedding and they were both busy making sure everything was running smoothly! In addition to how wonderful they are, this venue is the most beautiful! We used the outside and inside area. We heard from several of our guests that it was the most beautiful venue (and wedding 😜) they had attended! We have the absolute best memories from this day and wouldn’t change a thing! -

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina on March 31, 2022. Our wedding was the best day ever for us, it was our kind of perfect! We loved the fact that we were able to have our wedding ceremony and reception all at one place. Truly a hidden gem in Vallejo! Throughout the wedding planning process Maggie and the Lighthouse Team were kind, professional and attentive. Maggie would schedule walk-thru meetings with us at the venue to help us visualize how we wanted our wedding day to look like and she answered all are questions efficiently. Maggie made us feel at ease, super thankful for all of her suggestions. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful! So dreamy, elegant, intimate and serene! Everywhere you’d look was absolutely stunning! Perfect place to have a wedding! Our family and friends, were so amazed by the venue and couldn’t believe that we were in Vallejo. The Lighthouse Inn was also convenient for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the day of our wedding. It’s super clean, spacious and well decorated. Thank you Lighthouse Team for making our wedding day so magical! I would definitely recommend The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina to anyone in need of a fabulous venue! -

I just want to start off this review by saying CRYSTAL IS THE BEST. Literally the best coordinator ever. My husband and I were extremely happy with everything The Lighthouse provided. We first booked with them back in early 2019 for our 2020 wedding. Unfortunately due to COVID we had to postpone our event to November 2020. Crystal and The Lighthouse were extremely accommodating with the postponement change. Around August 2020 we still weren't feeling comfortable with all that was going on with the pandemic so we requested another postponement. Again, they were more than accommodating with postponing to November 2021. Communication was perfect. As we got closer to the date we were in constant communication with Crystal and she made us feel like everything was going to go great (it did!). On the day of the event, all was perfect. I didn't have to worry about a thing because she was there and took care of literally EVERYTHING. My husband and I were so happy with all she did for us and the venue was beautiful. I felt like the day went perfect and a huge part of that was because of her. I feel like this review is just all about Crystal now but we really could not have done all of this without her and her brilliance. She made the whole planning process a breeze and even though there were so many things to do, she was with us the whole way and was our #1 cheerleader. Anyone that is lucky enough to get her as a coordinator will be in extremely good hands. We are so happy that we went with The Lighthouse and it was one of the best days we've ever had! -

The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina is the perfect space to host any special event and Crystal and her team are the perfect people to coordinate it.
Crystal and the lighthouse team single handedly delivered us our dream wedding. From the first time we visited, we knew the venue was special but little did we know how awesome our experience would be. My now husband and I started on our wedding journey at the end of March 2021 and with the wedding boom of 2022 approaching, we chose to get married in 6 months, October 2021. The short window from engagement to wedding threw another obstacle into wedding planning but we came to Crystal with exactly what we wanted and she delivered. Crystal has relationships with all the top vendors and provided us with all the tips, tricks and assistance to execute the most perfect day. Her attention to detail was so appreciated, since no bride really knows what goes into wedding planning. She was with me every step of the way. Crystal thought of every single detail when it came to every single decision and never minded writing it all out for us and sharing all the information we needed. When our wedding weekend came, there was a change in the weather( every brides nightmare), and Crystal was able to pivot the whole day into something incredible, something even better than what we had originally planned for. We had had several meetings before the big day with Crystal at the lighthouse so when the wedding finally came, we felt SO comfortable there and it truly felt like we were hosting our favorite people at our fav place! The lighthouse was so clean, updated, came with the very best amenities. The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina is the perfect space to host any special event and Crystal and her team are the perfect people to coordinate it. I worked with the Lighthouse for a birthday party that was planned on short notice. We were so lucky that they were available for the date. Maggie and Crystal were so responsive and wonderful to work with. They were so amazing the day of the event and helped us pull it off seamlessly. The venue is a total hidden gem with gorgeous views. There are so many options to customize your event to make it perfect for your style and design. I loved working with The Lighthouse and I can't wait to come back! -

I'm so glad my husband and I found this place when looking for a wedding venue. He immediately fell in love with the well-kept property. It is filled with trees and green lawns that make you feel like you're on an island vacation. Having the stay in the Inn also made this an easy decision as we had a place to get ready and stay at the end of the evening. It's also great that they have an indoor and outdoor option for the reception.
We worked with Crystal from the beginning starting with a virtual tour (due to Covid) and met her in person a few times to look at the venue in person as well. She was absolutely great to work with and the whole team (Joelle and Maggie) were available for questions as well. I hope to attend an event here one day where I can just sit back and enjoy (not as a Bride haha). -

Amazing!!!
Super late review (we were waiting for our wedding photos), but we got married on July 30th at the lighthouse and it was AMAZING! The venue is so gorgeous that we bought budget friendly flowers and no other real wedding decor and it was still so beautiful!
The venue staff were super helpful from our initial zoom call, to days after the wedding. I definitely want to give a shout-out to Joelle for all her help!! She answered all our questions via email, put any stress we had on our wedding day at ease, and helped us retrieve glasses left behind by a bridesmaid! We hired a day-of-coordinator with very little experience, and looking back, we wished we asked Joelle instead!!
Finally, we wanted to mention that our wedding had about 110 guest and I think that was the perfect amount for enough seating, a welcome table, buffet table, dessert table, DJ booth, bar, and a big dance floor inside the venue. We could have added an additional table for another 10 guests, without losing our dance floor, but it would have been in the back corner by our bar which wouldn't be the greatest seating in terms of head table or dance floor views.

Let me start off with my coordinator, Brittanie. She was just AMAZING! My husband and I got so many compliments on her professionalism but also on how kind she was. Her good vibe bounced off my bridal party and she kept everything under control. Brittanie made our wedding events flow very well, she communicated with all of our vendors as well as with us in every detail, she saw our vision and really made our dream wedding come true. Although she was just our coordinator for the day, she went above and beyond the one day.
As for the venue itself, our guests loved the scenic view and vintage feel of the building. It was so beautiful that a photobooth wasn't needed. The venue itself served as a great background. We bought the deluxe package and it was worth it. Almost everything was included from the chairs, to tables, to linens, and so much more. Also, having use of the inn above the venue was incredibly convenient for the bridal party and myself.
So yes, my husband and I recommend this place to anybody who wants a beautiful wedding at a fair price.
I give the lighthouse infinity stars. Thank you again lighthouse team for giving us one of the best memories. -

I cannot say enough good things about The Lighthouse and the staff! I knew I wanted to get married here from the moment I saw it! My husband and I knew we wanted to do a tropical themed wedding and I wanted a venue with palm trees. The Lighthouse was the perfect place to make our tropical dreams come true. We used the coordination services and worked mostly with Brittanie. We were able to meet with her 3 times before our wedding and she just made everything so easy! Everything I may have overlooked, she was there to help me! I was so stressed I would forget something but Brittanie had my back every step of the way. I loved how everything at The Lighthouse could be customized to our liking. We were able to find our own vendors but were also given recommendations when we needed them. We were able to make our wedding truly personal, unlike some other wedding venues that make you purchase packages or use their vendors. Downtown Benicia is close by so our guests were able to stay in hotels nearby. My husband and I loved staying in the Inn the night of our wedding . The Lighthouse is such a beautiful venue and we still get compliments about what a great venue we chose. Absolutely the best place to get married! -

The venue was perfect for our wedding! From the moment we inquired we felt like we were in the right hands. Each staff member understands how important the wedding is, and they are with you every step of the way. So quick to answer questions, schedule additional appointments, and provide expert suggestions. My wife and I were so happy and felt so supported throughout the whole process. Questions and concerns and wedding stress were always met with understanding and flexibility. We were also soooo lucky to have worked with Dani as our onsite coordinator, who made sure to prioritize our needs and wants as the couple the entire time. She made us feel so at ease during our meetings, and ensured that our wedding day went by seamlessly. Amazing venue! Amazing staff!
When looking for a venue, my husband and I wanted to get married at a venue that had a rich history and a sense of wanderlust to it. From the moment we inquired about the venue, to actually booking the venue, the staff was amazing. They worked so hard to make sure our wedding day went smoothly. We are also so grateful to Dani! Our wedding coordinator, she answered so many of our questions, and put us at ease when things got stressful. She worked so hard to make sure that our day was perfect. We are so so grateful to her! And the whole team, who worked just as hard to make our day special. I would 10/10 recommend this venue! -

We could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding. The Lighthouse has beautiful views of the Glen Cove Marina and the landscaping is amazing! It's perfect for either an indoor or outdoor reception! They were able to accommodate our wedding of 160 guests and made the entire planning process as easy as possible.
I highly recommend that you use their day of coordination services. We worked with Crystal and she had everything so well organized, it took a lot of the pressure and stress out of the day for me as the bride. She communicated with all of the vendors and really helped us bring together our vision for our special day.
The entire Lighthouse staff were so welcoming and made you feel like part of the Lighthouse family! I wish we could relive our perfect day over and over again. -

Best venue in the east bay with waterfront location
Ah what a magical place! The lighthouse is the most gorgeous and unique wedding venue in the east bay and you won't find any better views (believe me I saw them all lol). Not only do they have a waterfront landscape they also have vines for a winery feel and the indoor banquet room is very modernized. The upstairs apartment is gorgeous for getting ready pictures and even really helped out when the kids were tired to put them to bed. The lighthouse crew was amazing to work with and answered my millions of questions between pre and post booking the venue! I highly recommend getting the upgraded package which includes the day of coordination service. Crystal was my coordinator and was a god send. The whole wedding process was extremely stressful and complicated for me but luckily once my services started with Crystal things all started to come together. If only they had a full service coordinator for the full process!
Do note this venue is a dyi type of place so for me that was a con as wedding planning is hard and I work a lot but keep to their preferred list and it will save you a lot of headaches. The venue is also a little small but I kept my guest list small (120) and loved how intimate our wedding was. Thank you lighthouse for everything you did to make our wedding day so special! -

Christina & I had our wedding at the Lighthouse in August & it was PERFECT! We worked primarily with Crystal who met with us multiple times & helped ensure our day was going to be perfect. We didn’t even know this place existed until 4 months before our wedding and when we saw the venue, we couldn’t say no (especially since the price was EXACTLY in our price range). The staff was so helpful and helped us make contact with vendors to plan the day. The venue was clean and beautiful. Our wedding started at 6pm so we had perfect weather and the sunset over the hill just in time for us to move to our reception. They provided all tables and chairs and we added in an extra 150 chivari chairs for a really good price so we didn’t have to move chairs from ceremony to reception. We didn’t even have to use an arbor since we got married under the palm trees. 5/5 recommend. Seriously, still shocked this place exists as it was perfect.

Linh Sent on 09/28/2018Where do I begin....The Lighthouse is beyond beautiful...the LH team's customer service goes beyond the expectation...the location is a tucked away gem. Everything you want in a venue is found at The Lighthouse. I had my wedding here in September 2018, and the weather was perfect for this beautiful venue. I can not stop raving about this place and all of my guests can't stop complimenting how beautiful our wedding was here. I'm so sad that our wedding is over because I miss our wedding coordinator, Brittanie, so much after working with her for a year. Yes, we knew we wanted this venue so badly from the first visit here that we booked The Lighthouse 1 year in advance! It was just that breath taking. My husband and I are so fortunate that we were one of the couples who can say that we had our wedding at The Lighthouse as this venue definitely gives you the feels of exclusivity. Thank you again for everything LH team...and Brittanie we miss you already!!!

My husband and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to book this venue for our very special day. The Lighthouse team were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. Crystal was not only professional, but made us feel very comfortable to discuss our financial budget along with a contract that was very easy to follow. They went above and beyond the call of duty. It's because of this team that gave us a very affordable wedding! My husband and I did a “D-I-Y” wedding and it turned out better than what we both expected especially because the environment itself is already beautiful on its own. With one phone call, the staff are always ready to help any questions and concerns! I also LOVED that the team checks up on us via email and sent us a free Starbucks gift card to ease the stress from wedding planning. My husband and I chose this venue not only because of its picturesque place, but it’s a Bring Your Own Bottle venue. Not a lot of venues offer byob - San Francisco venues usually only offers beer, wine, or champagne. We received wonderful feedback from family and friends on how lovely, professional, and creative the decorations were...especially the venue alone. Most importantly, we had a place to crash for the night upstairs (on top of the banquet hall) along with our guest. The Lighthouse Team made us feel apart of their family, and made sure we were taken care of. We have already recommended The Lighthouse to our friends!

It was actually my (Then fiancé) now husband who found this "hidden gem", recommended by one of his friends who just booked this venue!! From calling them to schedule a tour, to the booking and planning has been a breeze! They have been very patient with us and was there every step of the way! The ladies of Lighthouse are awesome!! Brittanie, Crystal and Marie are the perfect trifecta!! if one is out, one of them would always step in to come to our aid with whatever we needed. The inn was amazing too! very cozy and comfortable. (I recommend booking the night before as well if the timeline permits!) And if you have not seen the venue, it is worth visiting!! every area is picturesque! We didn't even have to decorate as much since the place was already beautiful as it is!! We got married on May 12, 2018 and it was definitely the best day of our lives!! Everyone had a great time! I love how there are 2 lawns and the middle area (indoor) and we have definitely maximized all areas, and turned out to be like a continental wedding! (it was a challenge for our DJ to set up 3 different areas but he made it happen!) I definitely recommend this venue for wedding, or any other occasion! (thinking about booking for our anniversary already!! Thanks again Ladies for being a part of the beginning of our forever!! =)

Lei Sent on 06/27/2018This venue is absolutely beautiful. We had a summer outdoor wedding in June and the timing was just too perfect. The venue has everything. They have great views of the water and Carquinez bridge, and they even have a small vineyard to take pictures. We had about 150 guests and we fit comfortably. We had our ceremony at the small lawn, appetizers on the deck area and indoors, reception at the large lawn area, and dancing indoors.
I planned my own wedding so my husband and I saved some money by renting out the basic venue package on a Sunday. The package comes with chairs, tables, and access to the inn until the next morning. I highly recommend adding on the setup/breakdown help because it just helps so much.
As I was planning, I had too many questions regarding logistics and the staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. They were very pleasant to talk to work with and helped us with any issues or concerns that we had. -

As everyone would say, The Lighthouse is this hidden gem built in the early 1900’s. It was the first venue we looked at for our wedding on 4.14.18. There were so many things we loved about the Lighthouse: The intimacy and how private the location is, the wrap around porch, the Inn located upstairs, the layout, the luscious succulents and trees, the marina. Most importantly, we love the staff at the Lighthouse. Marie, Brittanie, & Crystal are the BEST!!! Crystal was our go to person, so warm and easy to talk to. No matter how many email exchanges we have, one of them would easily respond to our questions. They provided topnotch vendors which made it easier for us to plan the whole thing. The Lighthouse is aesthetically pleasing to everyone who comes across it. Whether meetings, birthdays, wedding, anniversary celebration, the Lighthouse is a place you won’t be disappointed in. I envisioned my wedding to be rustic, vintage look with a twist of modern feel and I was very pleased with how it turned out. All our guests from everywhere in the country loved the whole celebration. The Inn upstairs made it easier for us to relax before & after the wedding. I love how the sun rose in the living room while drinking coffee & listening to music. A nearby hiking trail is very easy to get to which we did the morning of our wedding day. Besides the breathtaking view and ambience, the Lighthouse crew are one of greatest assets to the whole experience. From the planning stages to the event itself, it was without a doubt, a celebration we will cherish for a lifetime.

Cris Sent on 03/14/2018After 6 months of dealing with venues all over California, I stumbled upon the perfect hidden gem: The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina.
The first thing you notice is the tranquil ocean air. The spacious venue overlooks the calm waters, and the lawns on either side greet you with a luscious warm welcome.
Brittanie, our day of coordinator, was a friendly face who we soon loved like family. She was professional, always replied in a timely manner, patient (we planned our wedding for an additional year), and knowledgeable about the current wedding trends. But most importantly, she sent me reminders and questionnaires to help me stay on track.
For the Bay Area, you can not find a better price. Having our wedding at The Lighthouse gave us the opportunity to bring in our own vendors and alcohol, which let us put personal touches for our intimate wedding. Please note that even though we spent about $7,200 on the venue, $500 was placed as a deposit.
And we absolutely loved staying at the Inn above the venue. It was very spacious, homey, provided a lot of natural light, and contained 3 bedrooms for us, and our closest confidants. The roomy bathtub was perfect for soaking our tired feet after an entire day of posing, mingling with guests, and dancing the night away. We also loved the snacks in the fridge because sometimes, you just get the munchies.
If I could do this all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat. It was a pleasure working with the Lighthouse and we hope your wedding day is as special as ours. -

Jacqueline Sent on 08/05/2016My wife and I got married at The Lighthouse on 7/16 and we are SO glad we did! It was an absolutely magical experience and we are so in love with The Lighthouse! Book it for your event!!!! From the first time we walked on the property, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. It has incredible energy, is so relaxing and serene, private and intimate and beyond beautiful. Plus, the weather in Vallejo is always really nice (no fog!) and there is always a breeze at the marina! I really don't think there is a better venue in the Bay Area!
My wife and I got ready at The Lighthouse the morning of the wedding which was so convenient and special and we stayed in the Inn on our wedding night. We did our ceremony on the small lawn, cocktail hour on the deck, dinner on the large lawn and then dancing and desserts and photobooth inside. Having designated spaces for each section of the party really kept the energy up! The venue is so gorgeous in the last afternoon and during sunset!!! It had this magical light and energy and the marina was the perfect backdrop for our wedding and our photos! Plus, the venue also came with chairs, tables and cocktail tables which was a plus. It was just the perfect space!!!
Also, working with Marie and her team was a BREEZE. She is literally the most lovely human ever, she is so fabulous and went above and beyond for us. She was so sweet, highly responsive and communicative, helpful, thoughtful and solutions-focused. She answered our continuous onslaught of questions, offered advice, helped us brainstorm and worked around our requests. She was seriously the best and I knew were were in good hands the whole time! I cannot recommend The Lighthouse and Marie and her team enough!!!! Thank you for making our wedding the perfect day!!! -

Tabitha Sent on 12/23/2015The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina was amazing. A true love story, it was absolutely love at first sight, but you want details... here's my pros and cons:
PRO: Beautiful venue, picking an "off-season" date can save $$. We saved 2K by moving from October to November and Saturday to Sunday. You pick the caterer, the set up, the whole she-bang. They don't charge you for serving alcohol (open-bar only, you can't charge for it)
CONS: You need a team to help you. The LH sets everything in the room and you put it together. You move the tables and chairs (if you do your ceremony inside these chairs will need to be carried back inside for the reception). If you'd like to take advantage of getting ready in the apartment, you don't have access until 10:00 am (maybe 11?) - so keep that in mind for start time.
My groom and I were on a very tight budget and this venue was a must. Most of my "cons" are simply the side effect of saving money- no fault of the LH. I know a lot of brides are price conscious, and you really need to weigh out what your crew can actually do the day of the wedding- if you have a catering company, rental company, etc. it's probably a breeze. -
Christina Sent on 10/11/2018The Lighthouse deserves more than 5 stars!!! The venue is beyond beautiful, adding a stunning backdrop to every picture taken for our wedding. But also, we worked with Crystal and she went above and beyond to help in every way possible for our wedding. I loved telling our vendors that the Lighthouse would respond to any email within 24 hours, usually 2-3! The staff actually made our day better, easier, and more joyful. I recommend this venue to anyone.

It was a great venue. I love it. Working with the lighthouse staff was great, they were very friendly and helpful. I wish I would have chosen them to plan my wedding. I would have given them 5 if they didn't charge a lot for things that I think should be included in the price. For example, the string light on the east lawn, they charge $500 to turn them on during the summer. During the summer it is getting dark around 7:30 or later. That means you only get to use the light for a couple of hours. Beautiful and great venue. I had an amazing experience and I wish it wasn't over. -

Renata Sent on 09/25/2018Hands down one of the most gorgeous venues in the Bay Area. We had our wedding here on August 18th. The staff was very friendly and helpful. After the wedding, I did not like the fact that i was sent an email with $30 worth of offers for amazon gift cards. One of the $10 was to give a 5 star rating. I truly feel like this is bad business and leads to miss leading reviews. I have chosen to give the venue an honest rating and here’s why:
1. The venue overcharges for the the use of their own equipment. They have extra chairs, arch, a bar and lawn lights that you can rent for an additional cost. They claim to work with another vender but I soon found out from one of their employees that it actually belongs to them.
2. The venue has a vineyard. We were unable to use it because it was overgrown. Very upsetting because we had originally planned our “first look” there. The venue staff should have made sure the vineyard was well maintained.
3. The Inn comes with a million restrictions and it could use some upkeep. The flooring is very dirty. On the upside, it’s nice to not have to go anywhere after the wedding.
Overall, I would recommend the venue, it’s beautiful and we had a great time. The venue also allows you to bring your own catering staff and alcohol; that was a huge plus for us!
P.S. our dog was also in attendance, that’s a plus for dog lovers.

As I look at the reviews for this venue, it seems it used to be managed impeccably in the past. Unfortunately, that was not my family’s experience. My sister got married here on September 2nd and the manager, Maggie, made this experience extremely stressful for her. Not only on her wedding day, but the entire time leading up to her wedding as well. As the maid of honor, I firsthand witnessed how much this impacted my sister on her special day and all the days leading up to it. With that being said, I would not recommend this venue to anyone. At least not with the current management they have. The venue is very pretty and the Airbnb connected to the venue is extremely convenient, but I still do not believe it is worth the hassle and emotional distress of dealing with someone like Maggie. I am unsure if she is like this with everyone or if she just had something against our wedding party. Regardless, she was unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. If you’re paying for a venue like this, especially for what is suppose to be the happiest day of your life, I would assume the experience from start to finish should be nothing less than wonderful. However, You will not find that here. Also, if you are even considering using anything other than what is up to HER standards, she will say things like, “this is not a community center”. I found that very disrespectful to my family. I’m happy we no longer have to deal with her, but am upset that this will forever be a tainted memory for us about my sisters special day. It is appalling to witness an employee of such a respected venue behave in such a manner. I trust that this is not how the Lighthouse at Glen Cove conducts business and that you will take my family and I’s concerns into consideration. Hopefully you will be able to return to your previous level of excellence. On top of all this when my sister, the bride, asked for the owners contact info to speak to them regarding her terrible experience, Maggie stated she could not give that to her, but would tell the owner to reach out to her- which they have NOT till this day. Even though the “owner” is answering all the google reviews.
