Best decision!

Nicole is the best! I had one trial with a different makeup artist prior to my trial with Nicole and was so nervous that my wedding makeup would leave me feeling not myself. After my trial with Nicole, I knew that she was who needed to be there for me and my bridesmaids. My makeup felt so natural and made me feel like me, but was enough sparkle and fun for the wedding. All of my bridesmaids (some who never wear makeup) also commented on how great they felt. She was so efficient day of. She got through everyone and stuck around for touch up. She left me with a kit of little things for touch ups as well. I highly recommend!

Could not recommend enough!!

Nicole was incredible! I was so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out. My trial went so well and I didn’t think I could like my hair and makeup more… until my actual wedding day and she absolutely crushed it. I love how much I looked like myself and she was so flexible when I wanted to change a few things last minute. She also was so fun to work with and my bridesmaids loved her, they all loved how their hair and makeup turned out!

Best Wedding Day Hairstylist!

Nicole and her team was AMAZING!! I was so impressed with how quickly hair styles got done, and done so well! All my bridesmaids, moms and flower girl were stunning! I gave them greenery hair combs and crowns to put into everyones hair and the hair styles really complimented each girl well. It was all just so perfect. Nicole may not want to brag about it, but she did hair and makeup for Hollywood, so yes, she's incredible!! Nicole is a must book for your wedding day hair!

Fantastic wedding hair and makeup artist

Nicole is a fantastic hair and makeup artist. I hired her for my April 2021 wedding and HIGHLY recommend her to other brides. Her pricing is competitive with other vendors in the Charlotte area. Honestly, given her depth of experience and the quality of her work, she could charge more than she does. Nicole works quickly and efficiently which is really important when you have a timeline to stick to on your wedding day. She and her partner showed up on time and had 8 women glammed up and ready to go in less than 4 hours. Everyone loved their hair and makeup, myself included. I requested a slight change to my updo on my wedding day that was different from our trial run and Nicole handled it without a problem. My makeup stayed put for the entire day and night and looked fantastic in my wedding photos. My updo was gorgeous and Nicole was able to incorporate a vintage brooch from my grandmother into the style. Nicole was responsive to communication and made herself available via email and call/text. In addition to the great quality of her work, Nicole is a complete professional in her job and very friendly. I enjoyed chatting with her during my trial and on my wedding day. I absolutely 100% recommend The LaLa Girl!

Such a doll

Ok, can we just all agree that Nicole is great? We both used to live in LA, so I'm a little biased, but she was wonderful for the wedding. She only did my hair, not makeup, as she had another wedding that day and I didn't want her to be rushed between them. But my hair looked amazing, and it stayed all day and night, and into the next day. And she came to my house and did a full trial at a reduced cost, which was super helpful. And on gameday, she was professional, and fast, and even brought a second person to do my sister-in-law's hair. Great vibes, all around, we were all really happy!

I would highly recommend Nicole for hair and makeup for a wedding! She was very easy to communicate with and she and her partner did an amazing job! I really wasn't sure what I wanted for hair and make up and showed her a picture of what i thought i might like. Nicole only had to look at it briefly and replicated it even better! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. She used just enough makeup to make a difference and it looked natural. I can't say enough about how awesome Nicole and her team were on my big day. Hair, make-up, spray tan, lashes...the works! They knocked it out of the park for me, my nine bridesmaids, my mother and grandmother. I have been a bridesmaid in a number of weddings and almost every time, hair and makeup takes way longer than it is supposed to and then we end up running late the rest of the day. So going into my hair and makeup day with appointments for 9 people, I was worried! Nicole assured me we would be out by a certain time and when she sensed my concern she booked an additional stylist for the day to help put me at ease. I had nothing to worry about! LALA Girl got us out of there ahead of schedule and we looked AMAZING. I have never seen such beautiful up-dos! And our makeup was flawless not to mention it lasted all day long. LALA Girl was amazing to work with every step of the way and I’m so thankful I booked them for my wedding day. We chose to get ready in their GORGEOUS salon and I’m so glad we did. We had such a fun morning getting ready. Thank you Nicole and LALA Girl for all of your help!

I am so thankful for Weddingwire because it was actually these reviews that sold me on Nicole at LALA Girl for my wedding makeup. I loved that she was so knowledgeable about wedding makeup and knew exactly the look I was going for. I do not wear a ton of make up, and Nicole was great about not applying thick amounts and making it look natural but also stand out. I had never done airbrushing before and it was AMAZING!!! I love to dance and get sweaty and the make up stayed on the entire night! I had full trust in her based on other reviews I had read and absolutely LOVED how she did my make up for both my rehearsal dinner as well as my wedding. I had multiple bridesmaids also get their makeup done and they looked fabulous in our photos. My mother-in-law also never wears makeup and she really wanted to get hers done. Nicole was so kind to wait an extra 30 minutes after the time she had scheduled, due to my mother-in-law running late and never once acted like it was a big deal, which I was so grateful for! As much other stuff I had going on, I was slightly stressing that she was running late, but Nicole made the situation so much better and I cannot thank her enough for being so patient!! If I was to have to do it all over, I would definitely chose Nicole again.

Very flexible with trial runs and with coming onsite. We went initially went with LaLa because they do airbrush but we ended up loving everything about them... hair, makeup and the quality of service for the big day!

LALA Girl did my hair and makeup on my wedding day as well as the hair and makeup for all 8 of my bridesmaids and the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. The atmosphere in the salon was so fun and relaxed and they kept us ahead of schedule which made for a stress free morning! Their prices were great and the hair/makeup was even better. One of my girls even liked her makeup better than how it was on her own wedding day! Natalie made the scheduling easy and followed up quickly with my many emails/questions and Rebecca nailed my makeup. Thank you LALA Girl for making us all feel beautiful! The LaLa Girls did an amazing job on me and all of my bridesmaids hair and makeup! I cannot emphasize enough how prompt this vendor was at responding to my emails or phone calls. Even when we realized two days before the wedding that they had the wrong address making them 4 hours away instead of 1 they arrived on time and with smiles and enthusiasm! I have to say... Nicole made me look absolutely stunning on my wedding day. My hair was the talk of the event (it almost trumped my dress - that's how amazing it was). The LaLa Girls did my hair and makeup for my engagement and bridal pictures, as well as for my rehearsal dinner and wedding day. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup as well!! I would definitely recommend hiring the LALA girl for wedding hair and makeup. I went by the their reviews on here and on The Knot when hiring because I do not live in Charlotte area where my wedding was, they did not disappoint!! These girls are great. I showed the hair and makeup artist a few pictures I liked and they did an awesome job of combining them into one look. They did a fabulous job on my and my bridesmaids hair and makeup!

I used Lala Girl for hair and makeup for my wedding. These girls are the best! They were very timely, friendly, and fun! My wedding party was beautiful thanks to their hair and makeup expertise. I would definitely recommend doing airbrush makeup. We got married in July and it stayed on all night! Another great thing about these girls is they were very willing to start over if you didn’t like something!

I hired Nicole and her team for our wedding at The Ritz Carlton on June 27th,2015. Nicole is wonderful and her experience truly shows. She and two other members of her team did myself, 9 bridesmaids and my mom's hair and makeup on my wedding day. Nicole uses airbrush for all ladies and it truly is quality that lasts. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup. It was exactly what I wanted and stayed the entire night! I would recommend Nicole to any bride. You will definitely get the result you want. Nicole is professional, fun and laid back making your day even more special. Thank you Nicole for everything! I had makeup and hair and my practice runs on both done here. They were very helpful in both areas, offered good suggestions and worked with me well. For the trial hair session they tried several different looks. I had originally planned to wear my hair down but after the trial session and their great work I wore my hair up and it was wonderful. A great service for a great value.

I highly recommend Perry at the LaLa Girl in Charlotte. She was absolutely amazing to have on our wedding day. It was like having a friend doing my makeup! She did my makeup, as well as my mothers and some bridesmaids, and they all looked amazing. I have a hard time trusting people to do my makeup, because I always feel it looks fake, but it look so good and we had such a good time with her!

I used the LaLa Girl for my makeup for my bridal party on my wedding day and I'm SO glad I did!! Nicole was absolutely amazing! She gave us all exactly the looks we were going for. Nicole was absolutely incredible...I could not have chosen a more fabulous woman to do my hair and makeup on one of the most important days of my life, my wedding. She made me feel and look more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. My make-up and hair was flawless and lasted until the wee hours...I still looked good the next morning on the way to the airport for our honeymoon. She also did the works on my Mom and all of my best friends.....and they looked good. My mom did not decide until the day of to get her make up done and to this day says it was the best decision she made. You won't find anyone more talented than Nicole!!!

I am so glad I chose LALA Girl for my big day. My artist was Natalie. Natalie arrived on time and was eager to work with me. She worked well with our time frame before photos, and even provided touch ups when needed. She was very personable and definitely went the extra mile to meet my beauty needs. Being that I do not wear a lot of makeup often, she was able to create a look for me that was subtle, but very elegant. I would recommend Natalie and LALA Girl for any event!

I was referred to Nicole by a friend who went to an open house. I am not from the area, so I was just going off of reviews. Nicole's shop is beautiful and so sassy. She was wonderful to work with. We did my hair and makeup trial and I told her the look I wanted. I felt beautiful but once I left and started taking pictures, I realized it didn't look anything like me. I didn't blame her because she gave me what I wanted, or what I thought I wanted.

I called Nicole the following day and let her know that I wanted to change it up. Of course I was nervous because I didn't have time for another trial, so I had to trust that Nicole could give me a softer look. Well, she didn't disappoint. My makeup looked beautiful and the airbrushing was amazing! My skin never looked more smooth. I decided to do a completely different hair do and felt like a glamorous actress.

Nicole was always open to hearing my opinion and changing up things. I look forward to visiting Nicole again and would highly recommend her and her team.

Nicole did an amazing job!! She did hair for 5 bridesmaids, the bride and the brides makeup. We had the original hairdresser cancel less than 48 hours away from the wedding and Nicole sailed in and saved the day!!!

Nicole and her team are amazing. From a perfect trial to perfect make-up on my wedding day, Nicole did it all!

Nicole came to my rescue after the make-up/hair person I had booked several months before the wedding made major changes only 4 weeks before the wedding. Nicole immediately scheduled a trial session with me, did not ask any questions about what had happened, listened to and looked at what I wanted. Her response time to some follow-up questions was also great; always prompt and polite.

Nicole and her assistant Perry got me and my two bridesmaids ready on my wedding day. She was on time and everyone enjoyed working with her. The results were flawless and our airbrush make-up lasted all night.

I recommend the LALA Girl 100% for any girl who wants perfect, stress free wedding make-up and hair. And who doesn't!?

The ladies at The LALA Girl are amazing. They took great care of my self and my wedding party! They were so welcoming and friendly, very professional and skilled at what they do. We made multiple visits to their location for several different events around the wedding and had them come to us on the day of my wedding. Over all it was a great experience and I will definitely be back!!

So thankful for the absolutely fabulous-ness of Nicole and The LALA Girl! Any woman who has gone through the stress of a wedding day can attest to the craziness that surrounds you not only in the months leading up to your big day, but the hours before you actually say "I do." Nicole and ALL of her "LALA's" (the nick name I gave them for the day) treated each of my guests with professionalism and made it their mission to make them bridal ready. When it came time for me (the bride) to get beautified, Nicole zoned and transformed me into the best possible version of myself that I have ever seen. wow. I wish I could upload a picture of the absolute flawlessness. You're crazy if you don't let The LALA Girls rock your day!

Earlier today I decided to treat myself to a mid-day birthday make over! I'm so glad I did. It's already been a long work week and I couldn't resist the thought of making myself feel fabulous on a week day. The staff was so warm and the owner Nicole even offered to throw in a few lashes to help me celebrate another year of fabulous. I love my make-up and will absolutely be going back...birthday or not!

Made to feel glam

Nicole was easy to work with. We did a trial run of hair and makeup before my wedding and made adjustments before the big day. She was willing to just work on me as I didn’t have any attendants. My hair and makeup made me feel beautiful and glamorous.

Nicole and Courtney were our fairy godmothers for my daughter's wedding day. They did hair and makeup for 7 girls. They really listened to what each client wanted and made it happen. The girls looked gorgeous on their big day. LALA Girl is a professional outfit. Nicole's years of experience in the performing industry have prepared her well for the business she currently operates. We would definitely recommend.

I have a little bit of mixed feelings with the LALA girl. I had gone in to get my hair done for my engagement photos - I was supposed to have the owner do my hair but it seems they overbooked her somewhere else and I got someone who had a very hard time doing my hair. I was in the salon for over 4 hours and it still didn't come out the way I wanted. My makeup however was done perfectly complements of Perri. I paid my bill and left because I was in a hurry but I had to say something about my hair so I called back and Natalie was able to help me. She got on the phone with Nicole and she had agreed to give me a free hair trial the next day. When I went in Nicole was able to do my hair in less than 1hr 30 minutes and it came out exactly as I wanted it to. So I finalized my contract and just waited for the wedding day. Nicole and I discussed arrival times and on the day of the wedding she was right on time. However I noticed that Perri, who was supposed to do my makeup wasn't there. My bridal party and I had lost a little track of time and we were running about 30 - 45 minutes late to get started. It seemed that might have upset Nicole but I am not 100% sure. From there everyone got their hair and makeup done and I was last. Nicole did my hair just as perfect as the first time. She also did my makeup which I wasn't 100% happy with but mainly because Perri did my makeup, Nicole wasn't there the day Perri did it and I didn't have the best pictures of how I wanted my makeup to look. Afterward I thought had I known Perri wasn't going to be at the wedding I would have gone back into the salon to have another makeup trial to be sure I would get what I wanted done the day of the wedding. In that aspect I would just say the communication needed to be a little more present for the makeup situation. Overall my pictures came out amazing. Everyone's makeup stayed on.

Nicole from LaLa Girls did the makeup for my wedding in May 2016. She did nice work but, for the money, I felt she could have done more and she definitely didn't go above and beyond. At my bridal makeup trial, she applied the individual false eyelashes (one by one- looks better) but then on my wedding day, she did a long strip of eyelashes, which I was not expecting, but I was too wrapped up in the day to think anything about it until afterwards. I just thought it was weird that she made this change without ever talking about it and I honestly would have preferred she would have done what she did for the trial instead of changing it up without telling me. Also, it irked me that after she did my bridal makeup, I went to go look at my makeup in a full sized mirror and she never followed up with me to ask me if I liked it, or wanted to change anything, etc. before moving on to working on another girl. On such an important day, I would think that her biggest priority would be making sure the bride was completely happy but I honestly felt like she was more in a hurry to get out and that customer satisfaction was not her number one priority. I do not feel she was the best listener and was not the friendliest... Kind of short with people. She was honestly the only vendor that we chose that I did not absolutely love.

Hi Melissa-
I am so sorry you feel this way. I had a different experience at your wedding. I had a great time talking and getting to know your out of town wedding party. I took my time and spoke with them about what they wanted. I even went back a couple of times with each bridesmaid and added lip gloss and more shadow, as they wanted to bump up their eyes or needed a touch up. For the lashes I used a halfie and individuals. I did that to pump up the lashes more. I had saved you for last, but we did your Grandmother last as we were waiting on her to arrive. As I did your make-up we also spoke about your Grandmother and how you wanted me to do her make-up. I always ask everyone I do make-up/hair on if they like what I did and if they would like to make changes. I also left you with a touch up kit. My priority is the entire party, but especially the Bride. Also, I communicated with you for months on every e-mail you sent and your wedding planner sent. I was happy answer and accommodate all of your many e-mails and requests. Weddings are a wonderful time and I love being apart of them. My sincere apologies that this was your experience.
