The King Kamehameha is a gorgeous venue and was the perfect place for our wedding. The day of there were plenty of issues that I had some minor same not but all easily avoidable. The "Bridal Suite" (conference room) did not have the AC turned on so when we arrived it was so hot and gross. It is a big room and took a while to cool down when we eventually turned the ac on. When we arrived there was no one to be found. I had to search for a person and tell them I was the Bride before I got assistance. Once I did find someone and they knew who I was they were very pleasant. My Brother in Law and Husband had some issues with the pro shop person when asking for directions. Both said she gave them an attitude and was unhelpful. When walking out to the ceremony space there is something on the ground in front of the lawn then I tripped over and ended up breaking my shoe strap. I think it was there for safety as there is a step up to the grass but it is also a hazard. Finally, our wedding was scheduled from 5-7. At 6pm, in the middle of pictures, my planner was told that we had to get all of our belongings out of the conference room as they were locking the doors. We asked before the wedding started if we could leave the women's purses and getting ready bags in the room and were told that we could. No one said that the room would be locked at 6 or we would have cleared the items out before the wedding. This resulted in confusion as to where the planner and my sister had gone and was overall annoying.
