BEAUTIFUL venue!! Terry and Genie own the property and are seriously some of the sweetest people I have ever met. They have opened their home to us and truly made our wedding day a dream come true! They were so flexible letting us on their property for engagement pictures and meetings with our FABULOUS wedding planner, Lisa Wilson!! This venue can be transformed into whatever your wedding "style" is! Ours was rustic themed and fit with the property perfectly! When you book them also ask for Lisa to be your wedding planner! Have nothing but amazing things to say about her as well! There is not enough room on this review to truly express how much we appreciate and are grateful for Terry, Genie, and Lisa for making our dreams come true!!

The Ivy Place is a wonderful outdoor wedding venue. We had our ceremony at the leaning Oak Tree, cocktail hour around the koi pond and reception under the tent. It was a magical night and the perfect garden wedding!

Wow, The Ivy Place is just BEAUTIFUL!! Our wedding was truly a dream. We had to move our wedding last-minute from Charleston to the Charlotte area due to COVID. We found The Ivy Place and quickly fell in love with the property! The owners of The Ivy Place were so kind and willing to help pull our wedding together last minute. The venue itself is truly just so beautiful - our guests were raving about the gardens and the reception space! I got ready with my bridesmaids in the cottage on the property prior to the ceremony, which worked out SO perfectly and made for lovely photos. In fact, ALL of the photos taken on the property turned out absolutely beautiful. I could go on and on about this venue. I would HIGHLY recommend The Ivy Place to any couple if they are looking for a beautiful, outdoor wedding venue!!

The Ivy place was the most beautiful venue for our wedding. The ceremony was outside under a pretty tree and the tent was perfect for the reception.

From the moment we stepped foot on the property we knew we had to get married at The Ivy Place! The gardens are like walking through a fairytale- there are so many beautiful flowers and magical little nooks around every corner. The tent structure was perfect for protecting from the elements, but still gave the feeling of an outdoor reception. We also stayed in the cottage on the grounds, which was so convenient. Terry and Genie were so hospitable and kind and you can see all of the love they put into their property. Our guests enjoyed every minute at The Ivy Place!

Our wedding at the Ivy Place was April 30, 2016. Everything about it was MAGICAL!! It was all I ever wanted and more than I hoped for!! Just beautiful! The grounds and the gardens were exquisite! Our guests delighted in taking photos of themselves before and after the wedding. Special thanks to coordinator Lisa Wilson for all of her hard work coordinating the wedding as well as keeping up with the current weather radar conditions and having to herd all the guests along to the reception before the "monsoon!", haha!! But she did an outstanding job! This venue is absolutely breathtaking I fell in love at first site!

The Ivy Place was amazing! I loved everything about it. They were very helpful and nice. We used their wedding coordinator Lisa who was truly amazing. It rained on our wedding day and she went above and beyond to make the reception look beautiful even with the bad weather. She made us feel much better about planning and took away a lot of the stress of the day. I had another venue that closed down so we ended up at the Ivy Place and I am so glad it happened because I could not have been happier!

We could never praise the Ivy Place enough! The first time we saw this venue in person, I had chills. There is an overwhelmingly calming presence at the Ivy Place and I so enjoyed all the meetings and time I spent there prior to the wedding. The Graham's are an absolute delight to work with and they are so kind! Also, the on site wedding planner, Lisa Wilson, is brilliant. I can't tell you how many times she calmed my nerves, inspired me, and offered not only wedding advice but also spiritual guidance. The Graham's and Lisa love Jesus, and I think their love and His love is what makes this place so beautiful and special. My bridesmaids and I adored the bridal cottage (unlike any bridal suite we'd ever seen). We loved having our pictures made in the garden and by the barn. The tent was perfect for the reception and it was nice to know that IF it rained, we had a built in plan B! Everything about this place is perfect and I would get married here over and over if I could (to the same ma , of course)

I can't praise Lisa, Terry and Genie enough. Terry and Genie have this magical piece of property that is landscaped beautifully. When we first set foot on the property to see if it was the place for us, we knew instantly that we wouldn't be looking anywhere else. After speaking with Terry and Genie, and walking the property, you know their hearts are in what they do - you can tell they really put everything they have into making The Ivy Place the beautiful place that it is. Lisa is a wedding rockstar. You are required to have at least a day of coordinator, and you don't have to use Lisa, but you'd be a fool not to. She really was the glue that held everything together on the day of the wedding. She goes to great lengths to make your wedding day flawless and seamless, and mine was just that!!!

I cannot express how much of a pleasure it was to work with The Ivy Place. From our first meeting to the end of our day, Terry, Genie and Lisa were a joy to work with and made us feel like a part of the family. Terry is an expert craftsman and has made nearly everything on the property. Genie, the magical gardener, helped to transform the grounds into a work of art. And Lisa, whom we called our "wedding fairy" made the job of planning a wedding with a bride who's family was far away as simple as possible. The Ivy Place will always have a special place in our hearts.

The Ivy Place is an amazing venue for an outdoor wedding. Terry and Genie take pride in their beautiful property and are very easy to work with!

My son and wife recently had their wedding at The Ivy Place. It is a gorgeous venue and the people who own it and the wedding planner, Lisa, were absolutely wonderful. It was truly a magical day. The grounds, the tent, the decor are so beautiful but there is an essence of peace and tranquility that can't be manufactured that permeates the venue. I would recommend the Ivy Place to anyone who is searching for a unique and blessed experience.
