The Inn Spot on the Bay was our location of choice, and while the weather didn't play along, it was a beautiful, magical ceremony that our guests and we truly enjoyed. Pam and Colette went above and beyond to make this our very special day. The setting itself is remarkably beautiful, overlooking the bay, and we were lucky enough to stay there for a couple of days. The officiant performing the ceremony had an outstanding personality, finding the right words for us and our union, and the five course meal that incorporated chocolate in every course was a welcome surprise to our guests. At the same time, the team at the Inn Spot managed to accommodate any food allergies our guests had - very happy about that.
Unfortunately, we don't get to visit as often as we would like ... and unfortunately, wedding days are meant to be once in a lifetime events.
We would choose The Inn Spot on the Bay again without hesitation.

The Inn Spot was the perfect choice for our wedding. We had 220 guests and everyone commented on what a wonderful wedding it was. Many people still tell me that it was the best they ever attended. The weather was perfect, the nicest day in September, the water sparkled and made for the perfect backdrop for the photographs. We had the ceremony there as well, which was a great idea, because after a champagne toast, the party began. The food was amazing, from the passed hors d'oeuvres to main courses. Because many of our guests had traveled here from other countries, we wanted an eclectic mix of food. We worked with The Inn Spot to develop a diverse menu which included, steamship of beef hand carved, an Asian stirfry station, a hand made pupusa station, and a fresh local fish table. Although I was too busy enjoying the party and socializing to eat, the staff made made us plates of food for later, which was very thoughtful, and much appreciated. On that note, I felt like the entire staff was a cohesive team who made our wedding day seamless, they were all professional, attentive and courteous. Colette and Pam did a great job making this happen, I couldn't have been happier!

Our guests still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding. My husband and I pat ourselves on the back for knowing what to do to host a truly memorable experience. We called Colette and Pam! 3 months earlier we asked them to help us plan our special day. They sat with us to plan a delicious menu, I described a cake I had in mind (carrot cake with real flowers for design), we walked the property to discuss where to put the tent and where to have the ceremony and they reserved all rooms for us. Colette even took control of ordering all the rentals. We were almost done in one afternoon. The only details left were to reach out to the officiant and florist that Colette suggested. We couldn't be happier with the results. Michael and I actually had fun at our own wedding! I usually don't eat wedding food but our plates were cleaned, the cake was amazing and we literally danced the night away. It was raining for a few days before, but the sun was shining and the water was glistening on our day. I wish I could show you the photos. This is a second marriage for us and we are proud to say we got it right! Colette and Pam are easy to work with and veterans in the event world. Happy planning!

We couldn't have been happier with the Inn Spot. My husband and I were so focused on getting married somewhere local and determined to be wed on the water. We found the Inn Spot on the bay nestled in the heart of Hampton Bays with the most spectacular view of the bay...and the sunset...amazing. And to top it off they have fantastic accommodations for family/friends or the wedding party to stay down there with you for the weekend! The owners worked with us every step of the way. They helped us plan out every step of our event from the ceremony, to the menu, tent rentals, to setting up the venue the day of the event. We were at ease the whole time and were able to enjoy the whole day or the weekend for that matter. How many wedding venues do you hear about that has the actual owners involved from start to finish in the event?. To us that makes a place really special, to us it shows us that the owners care about you, your event and their business. I highly recommend it to a couple seeking that outdoor wedding with a touch of class. You will not be disappointed.

I wanted a "backyard" style tented wedding on the water in the Hamptons, and my dream wedding is what I got. We were able to do a custom clam bake menu to include lobster, that guests still rave about. Cheffe Colette made our wedding cake that looked as good as it tasted. The tent was beautiful and the best part was that they took care of everything involved, from rental to set up to return. They also provided all tables, chairs, linens, etc. At other sites I would've had to worry about all of that. Friends and family were able to stay in the main house and villas. The ocean is right over the bridge and made a gorgeous spot for all of our pre-wedding photos. Working with Pam and Colette was like having family plan your special day. We love to go back to the restuarant for our anniversary when we can. If you want a unique, personalized, beautiful wedding with great food, this is the place for you!

My husband and I recently had our wedding at the Inn Spot on the Bay and I can confidently say it was the best day of our lives. From the first meeting with Cheffe Colette, she was extremely open and flexible with what we wanted for our wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the food was incredible. It is difficult to find a venue that is willing to work with couples regarding price and quality in the Hamptons, but that was definitely not the case with Cheffe Colette and Pam! My husband and I had an amazing experience with them and could not have asked for anything more!

Pam and Colette made planning our wedding lots of fun. When we said we wanted rum punch, they gave us a tasting of 4 different kinds to choose from! When we mentioned ice cream, they offered to make any flavor we dreamed up! Basically, they ran with all of our good ideas, and talked us out of our less than good ones based on their extensive knowledge of what works best on the day of the wedding. Theyve done so many weddings that they can recommend not only who to use for flowers and tables, but specifically what kind of decorations work well in the space. As a result, the day was stress free. Everything looked beautiful, the seating arrangements they suggested worked well, and the delicious food and drinks flowed freely! They were also very flexible and quick on their feet- after a major hurricane the weekend before, they had everything up and running seamlessly by our date. After the cake that we provided basically melted... they somehow came up with another on the spot! Overall, we couldn't have been happier. They let us add lots of our own touches and be very involved in the planning, but they guided us with their expertise and profesionalism every step of the way. Thanks Pam and Collette!

Great sunset, and it ends there

Our large wedding was postponed due to COVID, so my mother suggested we use the inn spot for a small interim ceremony. Let me start by saying the food is wonderful and so is the wait staff. But ownership/ management needs work. We were treated with utter disdain from the start. For someone In The service industry, the owner seems to hate serving. Throughout the entire process, my fiancé and I were scared to ask any questions as each time we reached out to her, we were met with defensiveness and push back. As the day was looking pretty gloomy during the morning, the owner and I discussed rain plans. We decided that around 4 if it was still raining, we would do the ceremony under the tent we rented and if it stopped, it would be set up outside in front of the water. By some grace of god, the rain cleared by about 3:00 and we were so relieved for such a gorgeous day. However, my husband and his groomsman arrive at 5 for the ceremony and everything is set up under the tent. In front of guests that are now arriving, my husband is forced to now move chairs dressed in his expensive tux right before the ceremony is supposed to start. The lawn where the tent was set up was covered in garbage and the alcove where I was meant to wait during the processional was covered in dirt and debris. We had asked the day prior if this would be cleaned and were told yes. When my mother in law asked about it that day, rather than apologizing and getting a staff member to take care of it, the owner handed my mother in law a broom. There is a cabin located basically right on top of the ceremony space that we were PROMISED would be vacant during our wedding weekend. low and behold there was a couple staying there who yelled at my guests for having the aisle too close to them. He then proceeded to remove his shirt and stand on the dock in the background of our wedding photos. When my mother in law came to pick up our equipment and decor the following day, the owner instructed the staff not to help her in any way. Instead they watched a 62 year old woman lug every piece of decor and sound equipment across the yard to her car. And then they proceeded to reap the benefits of our tent and lighting we had paid for by using it to expand their outdoor dining area for the next two days during covid. We were also thrown wrinkled tablecloths, so two hours before my ceremony when I should be getting my hair and makeup done, my bridesmaids and I were ironing each tablecloth in their yard. I should state my day was absolutely wonderful, but this was only due to my amazing family and friends who went above and beyond to make it so. After spending quite a bit of money, my husband and I were never even told congratulations. I understand these are trying times with regulations changing daily, but If you do not enjoy hosting weddings, please do not do so.
