The Frungillos are simply the best!
I cannot put into words what the Frungillo family did for us for our wedding day. We booked the Inn at Millrace Pond when the barn house was still a concrete slab - just to show the trust we have in them. From the walkthrough and planning process with Michelle and Robert, to the day of with Gerry and Linda, everything was spectacular. Upon entering, our guests were greeting with espresso martini or champagne shooters which were delicious. Not only that, our guests could not stop raving about the food. The fresh mozz station was a hit, and our pasta and Tuscan stations were top notch. To top it all off, everyone’s filet (their top dish) was cooked to perfection. Some people even ate their table’s leftovers it was that good! We even had an afterparty at the gristmill… and you already know by this point how that went. All of our guests stayed at the venue in the multiple rooms they have to offer and we were able to have a brunch the next day to recap all the memories from the night before. I wouldn’t have booked my wedding with anyone else but the Frungillo’s. They’re not just your friends, they’re family. Thank you thank you!!-

Truly the best experience
With all of the items that go into planning a wedding, it can get really overwhelming. For my now husband and I, we really just were really looking forward to getting married and found wedding planning a bit overwhelming, while still , having some details we really cared about. The Millrace staff and Frungillo hospitality did an amazing job with connecting with us, valuing what was important to us, and making the experience seamless. Consistent communication with Mary-Beth (who was immensely helpful) while planning always helped to put my mind at ease and supported us in all planning decisions. Tricia (the inn keeper) and our Maitre D, Keri, were truly so amazing to work with. They always made sure we were comfortable and truly made ours and our guests’ stay so incredible. Both Tricia and Keri are the most kind, hospitable, and helpful people, and really working with them was the cherry on top to make our day so perfect. We cannot say enough amazing things about them. If you’re thinking about booking Millrace, don’t think twice!! -

Unforgettable Day!
We had our wedding at The Inn at Millrace Pond in a week ago, and it was a dream come true. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—so charming, historic, and surrounded by beautiful scenery that made every moment feel magical. Matthew is top tier! Personable, and very knowledgeable.
The staff at The Inn at Millrace Pond were incredible from start to finish. They were organized, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the overall experience felt. If you’re looking for a romantic, picturesque location with a wonderful team behind it, we cannot recommend The Inn at Millrace Pond enough. It was truly the perfect place to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives!

Phenomenal venue and people!
Tracey and her assistant, Lia, were absolutely amazing! They made our special day as smooth as possible and they were extremely accommodating! Anything we needed, they got us immediately. Also, they continued to check in on us and our guests throughout the night. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day at this gorgeous venue!! -

Our Wedding at The Inn
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at The Inn at Millrace Pond!! My husband and I enjoyed every moment of our day, beginning from getting ready in the bridal suite and speakeasy, to taking photographs on the grounds, to our breathtaking outdoor ceremony, to our reception in the astounding ballroom, and ending with staying overnight in the cozy bridal loft! The grounds are beautiful and give off a tranquil vibe that made our day so calm and pleasant! The food was delicious and our guests raved about every item from cocktail hour down to dessert. The staff made sure that although we were busy, we had time set aside to eat and enjoy!
It was our absolute pleasure working with all of the staff at The Inn. Tracey, our maitre d, took a personal interest in getting to know us and ensuring that every single detail was accounted for. She spent hours with us discussing the steps of our wedding day and allowing us to ask questions in order to be fully prepared. Tracey was amazing the day of the wedding as well, ensuring that every moment ran smoothly and that my husband and I were happy! We LOVE her!!!
The captain- Lia, also did an amazing job keeping our day smooth and checking in with us often in order to help and support us with everything we needed! She was so sweet and continued making our experience great the following morning at the breakfast!
My bridal attendant for the day, Kerri, was a joy to work with! She helped me to be comfortable and ready for my day and even made sure I kept drinking water since it was such a hot August day! I was so thankful to have her with me.
Tricia the inn keeper went above and beyond to ensure all rooms were adequately prepared for our guests and especially for us. She even took us around the grounds prior to the wedding so we could have another look!
We are so thankful for all the staff at The Inn and will always cherish the beautiful day they have given us!! We so highly recommend this venue for a wedding!! -

Dream Come True
We got married about 2 months ago...here's how it went.
From the moment we stepped on to the grounds of The Inn at Millrace Pond, we knew it was something special. It wasn't just the charm of the property- though historic, beautiful maintained grounds, and vintage, cottage-core worth inn rooms definitely set the scene - it was the people who made this venue and experience incredible!
Maria was the first person we met, when I reached out online she got back to me in less than 24hrs to do a tour! She truly made us feel seen, welcomed and excited! She painted the vision of our day so effortlessly, and it only got better from there! Michelle was an absolute gem throughout the entire planning process. She responded to every email and question asked (there were a lot), and handled every little change with patience, clarity and kindness. Having her support made the planning process smooth and stress free.
And then there's Tracey- our Maître D and wedding day superhero. Tracey and her team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect! Starting a week before thee wedding she called me and we had an hour and a half long chat and she asked questions i didn't even think about, sent me pictures and ideas for ceremony placement, inside rain placement, etc. She was everywhere at once, always one step ahead, and truly made our day a dream come true! We felt so cared for and supported - we didn't have to work about a thing, and that peace of mind is priceless on your wedding day. She took so many behind the scenes videos and pictures for me, I view them to this very day!
And let's talk about the food. Weeks later our guests are still raving about it! Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care. The bartenders were fantastic - friendly, fun, and they made amazing drinks all night long!
The entire experience at the Inn at Millrace Pond was filled with warmth, charm, and exceptional service. It felt personal, magical, and so "us." If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty and character, and a team that truly cares- this is it.-

The Day of My Dreams
I cannot say enough good things about the Inn at Millrace Pond! From the moment we booked until the final send-off, everything was flawless. The venue itself is stunning—charming, rustic, and romantic in all the right ways—but what truly made our day unforgettable was the incredible team behind it.
Tracey and her assistant Lia were absolutely amazing. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. They were always one step ahead, making sure every moment of our day ran smoothly. I felt so supported and calm knowing they were by my side. I am truly beyond lucky to have had them there with me on such an important day.
If you're considering the Inn at Millrace Pond for your wedding, don't hesitate. It was the best decision we made, and I would choose it again in a heartbeat. -

Perfect Wedding Setting
My wedding was at the Inn on 4/19/25. Having our wedding at the Inn was above and beyond all my expectations. It is clear the property is beautiful! We loved how unique the setting is and the history. There are not many properties that offer you multiple building locations for your day plus the ability to stay onsite with around 40 guests! What really blew me away was the entire staff and how good the food is! Tracey was our Maitre De, wow from the calls prior to the wedding to the day of I knew I was in such good hands. Tracey was like having another friend there the day of making sure me and my family were taken care of and making everything happen, I literally did not have to worry about a thing. I cannot express my gratitude to have wonderful this team is. Tracey had a captain Lia with her all day who was so kind and also was there for anything we needed, checking in all throughout the day! When I tell you the food is so good, I have never been to a wedding where so many guests were raving about cocktail hour AND the dinner meals. We were blown away at our tasting and the day of at how good everything was. Tricia the inn keeper, is so lovely. She was so helpful working with us and our guests. Truly a world class staff all around. If you are looking for a charming, boho, rustic venue. This is it, you will not be disappointed.-

August 2024 wedding
Had the most wonderful experience with Inn at Millrace last August at our wedding. Cannot say enough about the service and care and attention to detail everyone gave us. Very responsive, really helped us stay on top of planning everything and we really felt like they put in the work to help make our day so special. Tracey is the absolute best at what she does! Kept everything running smoothly, got everyone where they needed to be, an hour out when we had a bit of a rain scare with an outdoor ceremony planned she walked us through all the possible options so we could make the best decision (ended up chancing it and rain held off!). She checked in on us enough without being overbearing, helped our very large bridal party from morning/getting ready time until the very end. She also took a bunch of pictures herself on her phone, so in addition to our professional photography we also have hundreds of additional photos to look back on! We ended up forgetting a bunch of stuff like decor and our guest book and she kept everything safe in her own home until we were able to drive out and get it!! Maria who helped us book the venue was also so helpful, listened to what we were looking for and laid out everything very clearly for us. Food was really good, especially cocktail hour!! Outdoor space was beautiful and big and very wooded, felt like we were in the middle of a forest. Cocktail area and reception room were beautiful and the setup was nice, being attached but still separate. The millrace team helped make a stressful planning process that much less so and we highly recommend!-

Beautiful venue for a Winter Wedding
We got married at the Inn at Millrace Pond in February 2025. It was the best wedding weekend we could ask for! The grounds are beautiful and historical. The bridal suite and inn rooms were great. It was so nice to stay on property with friends and family. The reception barn was the perfect set up for our 115 guests. The Tavern on property was a great atmosphere for our after party.
Michelle was helpful through out the planning process. Tracey was my maitre’d. She was incredible. She spent time talking with my husband and I on the phone and through text the week prior to our wedding. She had great advice and was so helpful. Everything ran smoothly because of her and our bridal attendant, Lia. Tracey also took photos and videos throughout the night that captured so many great moments.
Even though we didn’t get a chance to eat, our guests shared that the food was delicious. We had the Millrace salad, rigatoni vodka pasta, and a choice of filet mignon, salmon, caprese chicken and vegetarian option. It was plated beautifully. It came out hot, was a good portion size, and did not taste mass made. Everyone liked their meal options. I heard the most compliments about the filet mignon.
I couldn’t be happier with our decision to have our wedding at the Inn at Millrace Pond. It was a dream come true.-

Magical Wedding!
I absolutely adore this wedding venue—the staff, the grounds, the food! We literally just had to show up, and everything else was taken care of. Tracey made sure everything ran smoothly, and my guests still rave about how this was the best wedding they'd been to. The food was amazing, and I just appreciate the rustic historical charm that this venue brings. Your VIP guest can even stay on the premises with you. It's like having your own private small town for the night. I wish I could relive this moment! -

A Dream Wedding at the Inn
We recently celebrated our wedding at The Inn at Millrace Pond, and it truly was the wedding of our dreams. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of magical. The stunning fall scenery created the most beautiful backdrop for our special day—the vibrant colors of the leaves, the crisp autumn air, and the rustic charm of the inn made everything picture-perfect.
What really set the experience apart was the incredible staff. Every single person we worked with was professional, efficient, and above all, kind. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was exactly how we envisioned it. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and they shared our vision every step of the way, helping to bring it to life flawlessly.
We can’t say enough about Michelle, the director of planning, who was amazing from the very first meeting until our wedding day. She was an absolute joy to work with, guiding us through the entire process with expertise and patience. Michelle made sure our every wish was heard, and her dedication to making our day perfect was evident in every interaction. She truly became an integral part of our journey and ensured everything went off without a hitch.
The farm-to-table food was absolutely outstanding! From the abundance of delicious samples during the cocktail hour to the exquisite meals served at dinner, each bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about the quality and variety. The seamless organization of the food stations, both indoors and outdoors, was expertly handled by Tracey, the on-site coordinator. She ensured the flow of the event was smooth and that every guest had access to all the amazing culinary offerings. It was truly a feast to remember.
A special shoutout also goes to our day-of coordinator, Tracey, whose professionalism and warm personality truly made our day even more special. Not only was she on top of every aspect of the event, but she also ensured that we were comfortable and taken care of throughout the day. She was attentive to our needs, and even made sure to bring us drinks and appetizers during cocktail hour so we wouldn’t miss out on enjoying a bite while greeting our guests.
Thanks to the team at The Inn at Millrace Pond, we were able to relax and truly enjoy our day, knowing that everything was taken care of. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out—it was more than we could have ever hoped for. If you’re looking for a wedding venue where you’ll be supported by an amazing staff and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this is the place for you!
Thank you, Inn at Millrace Pond, for making our wedding day unforgettable!
With Love and Gratitude,
Brenna & Danny -

Dream Wedding!!!
Our wedding reception on April 13th 2024 at The Inn at Millrace Pond was an absolute dream come true, and we owe it all to everyone at The Inn. The Frungillo Family, Tracey, Trish, Maria...the entire team. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew we were in for something special. The Frungillo Family's dedication to excellence was evident in every aspect of our experience, from the seamless planning process to the flawless execution on the day of the event. Michelle was so awesome when it came to corresponding back and forth throughout the entire planning process.
Tracey, our incredible Maitre D, deserves special recognition for her unwavering support and attention to detail. She went above and beyond to ensure that every moment of our reception was perfect, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the celebration.
And let's not forget about the food! The delicious cuisine prepared by the talented chefs was an absolute highlight of the evening. Our guests are still raving about the amazing flavors and presentation!! Cocktail hour started the night strong and continued into dinner.
Last but certainly not least, the venue itself was nothing short of breathtaking. The natural beauty of The Inn at Millrace Pond provided the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we couldn't have asked for a more picturesque setting.
We are endlessly thankful to The Frungillo Family, Tracey, Trish, Maria and everyone at The Inn at Millrace Pond for making our wedding reception so beautiful and memorable. They truly exceeded our wildest expectations, and we will cherish the memories of our special day forever. -

The Inn at Millrace Pond- The PERFECT wedding venue!!
Where do I even begin? The Inn at Millrace Pond is the perfect wedding venue in New Jersey. If you are looking for an all-inclusive venue and personalized experience from catering, to accommodations- you NEED to check out the inn! You get the entire property to yourself the day and night of your wedding, and there are so many unique spaces! They recently built a brand new reception barn and a cocktail hour space which are absolutely gorgeous. This venue is super charming and historic, but has been refurbished with modern touches and feels like you are stepping into another world for the day of your wedding, away from the stresses of modern life. It is so peaceful in the quaint little town of Hope, NJ. Michelle, the sales manager was beyond helpful throughout the whole planning process, and the day-of staff blew our expectations out of the water with their attentiveness to detail and help throughout the day. The innkeeper, Tricia charmed all of our guests with her kind and uplifting spirit and, along with Keri and my bridal attendant and Tracey, helped me and my girls with our requests all day long- they even took candid photos throughout the day and sent them to me which was incredible! Our maître d' Linda was absolutely incredible and made sure the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after party all flowed seamlessly. Even when we had to move our ceremony inside at the last minute due to rain, the team went above and beyond to ensure that it was beautiful (and the reception barn fireplace/mantle gives such a beautiful indoor ceremony space backdrop, I would do it all over again!) The food was incredible- our guests are still raving! I cannot recommend this venue enough! -

A beautiful wedding!
We were guests recently at a family wedding held at the Inn in Hope, NJ in November. We've never been to this area of NJ so we didn't know what to expect. We checked in for the wedding early in the day, thanks to Tricia for helping with all our questions we had. The Wedding was held outside on the lawn and although it was a bit chilly, our niece provided blankets for whomever needed them to stay warm during the Ceremony. The grounds were beautiful, as she walked over a little bridge towards the front of the building for the Ceremony. Afterwards we were invited into Cocktail Hour by our Maitre'ed Ed, which we had great food and listened to a small live band. Then we were asked to come to the reception Hall, again by our Maitre'ed Ed, which he helped everyone find their tables. The festivities began and we were greeted by Tracey, who introduced herself as the Captain, who helped us with questions we had about the venue. The night was wonderful! The staff came and around and cleaned each table quickly and the "parade" they did serving our dinner so very professional! I noticed every time I walked away from my table my dinner napkin was folded, the area was neat and clean and the water glass was always filled. Great job William! I introduced myself to Ed and Tracey later in the evening to let them know how wonderful everything was as I am in the business and they were doing a fantastic job. The evening was finished off with an Afterparty in the Tavern which was so different and intimate. The breakfast the next day was just as nice as we sat with family and talked about how wonderful everything was! Thank you to the Inn and the staff! -

Attended a great wedding at the Inn at Millrace Pond
My husband and I attended a wedding at the Inn at Millrace Pond. We had the best experience! Laura, one of the servers went out of her way to help me when it came to finding gluten free appetizers at the cocktail hour. There was a large selection to choose from and everything was delicious including the main meal. My husband doesn’t eat gluten free and he rarely enjoys any of the food at weddings but even he commented on how much he enjoyed the food and the amazing service we received! Thanks to Laura and the rest of the staff at the Inn we also enjoyed our overnight stay. If you’re looking for a wedding venue this place will not disappoint!! -

Our Dreamy December Wedding at the Inn
I wish I could rate the Inn at Millrace Pond higher than the available five stars🌟. I can’t event begin to put into words how accommodating, kind, and thoughtful of an experience the Inn staff, and all the folks at Frungillo, were to us from our booking day right through to our wedding - which was just perfect!
We received impeccable guidance and assistance from Ed and Michelle at Frungillo, who helped us curate the most personalized and perfect celebration. The Inn itself was the most beautiful backdrop, beautifully and tastefully decorated for the holidays and carefully attended to by amazing staff. The compliments we received from all members of our almost 180 person group of family and friends speak to their amazing service. Tricia the Innkeeper is one of the sweetest, organized, and accommodating individuals we have ever worked with, and was with us from rehearsal dinner right through our cozy after party in the tavern!
Tracy was integral on our wedding day, and provided first class service to us and our bridal party, and made us feel like Kings from start to finish - simply the best of the best ! Katherine our Bridal attendant was lovely, kind, and generously accommodating!
We were told the inn would be our”village” for our big day and it really was, and because of the amazing folks who work here it was a dream come true ❤️
Thank you all !!

Most Magical Day!
Venue/Caterer ⛪🍽️ - The Inn at Millrace Pond (Frungillo Hospitality): I happened upon The Inn at Millrace Pond because of a post in a facebook group. We had already started looking at venues and my fiance didn’t even want me to book a tour here because he felt we had too many tours planned already. I am so glad that I didn’t listen to him, because we both fell in love with the Inn as soon as we stepped foot on the grounds. The Inn perfectly combined our styles. I love the old-world, rustic charm that the Inn has to offer and my husband loves the new, modern touches that the recently renovated barn has to offer. I love that the grounds make you feel as if you’ve stepped into a private village. Maria, who gave us our guided tour was awesome and answered all of our questions. Ed, our event manager/maitre’d was amazing at guiding us through the planning process and making sure that things ran smoothly. He did become a little hard to get in touch with as our wedding date got closer (probably due to it being busy season), but leading up to our finals meeting, he was very good at getting back to me. Tracey, his assistant, was outstanding the day of our wedding and SO sweet! The staff made sure that our day was flawless, despite the many challenges that we faced due to the weather. The food was FANTASTIC! The venue looked stunning! Every staff member was professional, helpful, and genuinely so happy for us! It felt like we were surrounded by extra friends that day. My only complaint would be that Dan and I didn’t get to eat enough of the delicious food during cocktail hour because we were too busy saying hello to everyone (luckily Tracey was so wonderful and brought us a plate of food from cocktail hour so that we could enjoy some nibbles during the reception). The kitchen staff literally made a separate meal just for me because during our tasting I loved one dish, but we didn’t choose it as a menu choice for our guests. We truly had a magical day despite the tropical storm that was rolling through!
Hotel 🏨- The Inn at Millrace Pond: Tricia, the innkeeper was super helpful in booking the rooms on-site. She made sure that the priority rooms were cleaned in a timely fashion so that our guests could get ready. We had a delicious morning after breakfast with our guests that stayed on site. There were many food and drink options - there was definitely something for everyone! Everyone was happy with their stay on site. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were comfortable. They even accommodated our dog in one of their pet friendly rooms so that we could have him with us on our wedding day. One of the other things that we loved about the Inn is that we can go back to stay at the Inn after our wedding! We will definitely be back for anniversary trips!

Exceptional Venue from Start to Finish!
Our son and new daughter in law got married a week and a half ago at The Inn at Millrace Pond. Every single staff member displayed exceptional courtesy and professionalism and went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. The inn keeper, Tricia, was fantastic and made sure that no detail was overlooked with our rooms and food storage. Eddie and Tracey went above and beyond to make sure that our son and daughter in law's wedding day was perfect and their attention to detail was noticeable. They were helpful and responsive to whatever we needed during our entire day. The wedding attendant for the day, Haley, was friendly and attentive and made sure that both suites had everything in them that needed to be there. If we needed something, she made sure it was taken care of. Professionalism and friendliness also applied to the housekeeping staff. Steph was more than happy to help us get settled into our rooms and was able to address any questions we had. If you are considering the Inn at Millrace Pond as your wedding venue...look no further. Your day is sure to be an exceptional experience like our's was. -

Excellent!
Me wife and I attended a friend's wedding at the Inn in Hope, NJ this past weekend with Ben and Jamie Nause. What an amazing evening! Everything was wonderful from the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour in the Farmhouse and the reception in the same building. The food was delicious, the staff was so attentive and helpful and the hall is beautiful! Eddie, the Maitre'd had everything under control and was very helpful with my table. I liked the way the dinner came to our table, so professional as everyone was served at the same time. The bubble sendoff was something we've never seen before! -

Paula & Mathew Caputo
The entire venue and floor setup was fantastic. I was a guest attending for Paula and loved the hospitality especially that of Eddie. Eddie was a great Maitre’D. The food was great, I loved the salmon and the ice cream, service was exceptional and I would recommend to anyone looking to have their wedding. Good job! -

Our wedding
We just had our wedding over this past weekend on 4/14/2023. It was perfect!
Maria was great at showing us the venue, working with our needs and being there for all of our questions. Jerry was very kind and accommodating to my family. Tricia met all our needs at the inn since we stayed there the night before which provided a relaxing wedding morning. Eddie was the best! He made our day special and went above and beyond helping with little things such as when one of guest locked his keys in the car and going to get a sewing kit when my dress broke. He was very flexible with all of our needs/wants and was so good to my parents. He is a very kind individual. Peggy from the flower mill did a wonderful job with our flowers- she took into consideration every detail I mentioned and made the venue shine with color. Would recommend! -

Simply Perfect
I can't stop talking about how PERFECT my daughter's wedding was. Our hands were held and guided expertly every step of the way. From the day we toured (and fell in love with this beautiful and unique venue - the barn is beyond gorgeous) with Maria, to the day of under Jerry's masterful guidance, we could not have asked for a better experience. And the food...yes, the food was actually amazing. Thank you for the memories. -

The Inn at Millrace Pond is a beautiful venue in itself, but the excellent staff tied it all together. Without Maria I am not sure if we would have picked the Inn. She was a huge help in our touring and excellent contribution to the whole evening. -

The most perfect day!
We had our wedding on 9/18/22 and it was the best day of our lives! We live in Washington state, so we had to tour the venue via video chat before the new barn was finished. Maria and Jerry were very flexible with us planning the wedding from 3000 miles away. We didn't even have a rehearsal because we had bridal party members coming from all over the place, but Jerry made sure everything ran smoothly. All our guests raved about the food and about how attentive Jerry was. A bunch us stayed at the inn overnight, hung out by the fire pit and had (complimentary) breakfast together the next morning. It's a truly unique venue and we highly recommend it!-

Unique rustic venue- had an amazing wedding here.
My husband and I had our wedding at the Inn at Millrace pond on 10/9/22 and it was simply an amazing wedding. Our Maitre’D Jerry Pagano made sure everything went smoothly and if there was any hiccups they were taken care of without disturbance to us. His energy and personality gets the Job done! The barn brand new and gorgeous. There are so many unique areas of the venue including a farmhouse, bridal suite, tavern for after hours party. Food is from Frungillo catering who owns the Inn and it was delicious. I love that they offer you 4 entree options and include your wedding cake from Palermo’s bakery. If you are looking for a unique venue that has 17 rooms onsite for family to stay overnight with good food and what feels like a tiny village all to yourself on your wedding day, don’t hesitate to book this venue. -

All in one Wedding Venue!
My daughter Rachel and her husband Tyler were married here on July 22,2022, it was nothing short of FABULOUS! It is the perfect destination wedding right here in New Jersey! The newly built barn is just an amazing space for the reception! We opted for the Hopes best package, which includes an after party, all 17 overnight rooms and a wonderful breakfast, all orchestrated by the Maitre D, Gerry Pagano. Gerry will assist you with all the fine details for your perfect wedding! -

Awesome Place!
If you want an awesome venue and want to simplify your wedding, this is the place!
Everything takes place at various locations on the property - your hotel rooms, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - so the day becomes super convenient.
The staff is extremely professional and accommodating, and the venue is absolutely beautiful with flowers and lighting.
We got married weeks ago and our guests are still talking about how awesome the venue was. Have your wedding here - you won't regret it! -

My husband and I did the unheard of- we had our small intimate wedding during the week, (on a Tuesday in April) but we had the WHOLE place to ourselves!!! And it was worth it. From the start of the day, til our after party, Sue-Ann and Brett went above and beyond to help guide us throughout the planning process and with any questions we had. They are also very nice and down to earth people! We were very indecisive about what we wanted, and they made us very comfortable. Sue-Ann has the most calming voice, and is very funny! I have to say we loved the laid-backness and the vibe of this venue, rather than the formality of most vendors that are just trying to sell you. The staff genuinely cared for us and you could feel that....they did everything they could to make us happy. We're SO happy we chose this for our wedding....not only because of the amazing hospitality, but the FOOD!!!! Everyone loved and raved about the food- Frungillo Catering was AMAZING. Our guests were very very happy and had a wonderful, unforgettable time at The Inn at Millrace Pond.-

Our wedding day was perfect. Looking back, there was not one thing we would have changed. We were married a couple weeks ago on November 10 - we had a small wedding (40 people), so I cannot vouch for the caterer, tent etc. but I can say that this is the perfect venue for anyone who is looking for something unique and intimate.
The grounds are unbelievably gorgeous (at any time of year!) and every staff member we've come in contact with has been nothing but pleasant. We planned to get married outside on the lawn in front of the meeting house, but it ended up being FREEZING that day (high of 32 - go figure), so we made the call early on to have the ceremony inside the meeting house, in a room with a fireplace upstairs. I was a little bummed about that until I walked through the morning of and saw how the fireplace mantle was decorated - Peggy Patton (the florist who works onsite), did a phenomenal job on absolutely everything.
After seeing Peggy's work, my nerves settled down a little - and everything else fell into place. I worked with Sue-Ann, the General Manager of the Inn, throughout the planning process as well - she is exactly what I needed in a "wedding planner" - reassuring and extremely accommodating. She even let our two dogs be a part of our day and "babysat" one of them (who tends to be a little more rambunctious) in the back of the room during the ceremony. Afterwards, our group was sent down to the tavern for the reception/after party; I have to thank Sue-Ann and the Inn staff for this as they had every detail covered.
Again, I cannot put into words how awesome our wedding day was... just reliving it through this review has made me so happy. We can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary here for years to come! -

Our wedding at the Inn was perfection. Taylor and her team were super attentive, helpful and accommodating throughout our entire planning process and weekend of our wedding. We chose the Inn because of its charm, ambiance, history and property and it DELIVERED on everything we wanted. Our guests loved our venue and had such amazing things to say even now that our wedding is over.
We had our close friends and family spend the night of our wedding in each of the 17 rooms the Inn has on the property. After our wedding 40 or so of our guests stayed on the property, enjoyed the bonfire and hanging out a bit longer before the night was over. The next morning, our overnight guests joined us for a complimentary breakfast at the Inn's Tavern on the property. This was so sweet for us because we got to enjoy our wedding and guests a little longer. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and it was so intimate and quaint because we had the entire Tavern to ourselves (since we booked all 17 rooms).
Overall, both my husband and I are 1000% happy with our decision to get married at the Inn. The Inn treated us like family and made our stay and experience so special. Now that our wedding is over (sadly - enjoy every minute future brides) we'll be going up to the Inn just for dinner (which their food is AMAZING) or a nice "staycation" and we'll get to keep enjoying the place that made our wedding so special.
Thank you Taylor Panetta and the entire Inn at Millrace Pond Team. Xo
Love,
Rachel & Ryan -

We had our wedding at the Inn at Millrace Pond and had the most incredible day! When we started looking for a location for our wedding, we knew we wanted something a little different (not the traditional hall). We had visited several venues that were nice, but the moment we pulled up to the Inn, we knew we had found the perfect spot! The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and private, which was exactly what we wanted for our smaller, intimate wedding. The Inn at Millrace Pond has everything you could need on site, without feeling like you’re stuck in one place. We had our rehearsal dinner in the tavern, ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour in the meeting house, reception in the tent, after party in the tavern and morning after breakfast in the main dining room. It was so nice to be able to use all of the amenities there, so we could maximize our time with our families and friends. Having lodging on site was wonderful too because we were able to be there all weekend and relax (we really enjoyed being able to sit out at the fire pit with our guests on Friday after the rehearsal dinner and Saturday after the wedding!).
Taylor, our contact at the Inn, was a true pleasure to work with while planning. She answered all of my questions promptly, was so accommodating and helpful and arranged the booking of lodging for the 17 rooms at the Inn for our guests, as well as the rehearsal dinner, liquor for the wedding and after party details. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Taylor – she made the entire experience pleasant and stress-free!
The Inn at Millrace Pond is an exceptional venue that we would HIGHLY recommend to any bride and groom looking for a wedding venue with a unique, laid-back, atmosphere with history and personality that will leave your guests wowed – you will not be disappointed! So many of our guests (as well as ourselves!!) were raving at how beautiful it was on our wedding day and afterwards! -

We had an amazing wedding at The Inn at Millrace Pond. It is such a unique wedding venue, filled with so much charm. Taylor, Jerry, and John were SUCH a pleasure to work with and allowed for us to have a TRULY wonderful wedding day!! Taylor was so patient and responsive to all my countless emails and phone calls filled with neurotic questions and concerns. Each member of the staff really contributed to making our special day flow so smoothly and seamlessly. Every detail of the wedding was perfect and their roles behind the scenes totally made our dreams for our wedding become a reality. We had such a wonderful and fun time and the fabulous hard-working staff were an integral part in making that happen. Our wedding party stayed at the Inn, which was beautiful, quaint, and so charming. We had our rehearsal dinner and brunch there as well and the food was incredible!! Frungillo did our catering for our wedding and the food was absolutely delicious!! Thank you all so much for helping us have a remarkable wedding!! -

Let me start by saying that the Inn at Millrace Pond is beautiful and the staff are AMAZING. The staff at the Inn were accommodating, patient, friendly and a joy to work with. I think I sent Taylor a million emails over the course of the year planning for our wedding and she was always kind and helpful. It rained most of the day on our wedding, but we could not have cared less - the staff had a plan and executed it flawlessly. It was such a romantic venue to begin with and the rain made everything even more intimate. The rooms were clean and beautiful and we loved that our immediate family and wedding party could stay on the grounds for the night and wake up with us for breakfast the next morning. I know we are biased, but I truly feel like we had a perfect wedding. My husband and I can't stop smiling or talking about how amazing everything was and we feel so lucky that we booked with the Inn at Millrace Pond! If you want a more unique venue with a ton of space and beautiful scenery everywhere you turn - book with them! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! -

We had our wedding here this past November and it was lovely and amazing! We rented all of the rooms at The Inn and had our rehearsal dinner here. This venue uses Frungillo Caterers if you're having your wedding outside on the grounds, but The Inn was beautiful which led to amazing wedding pictures, the rooms were lovely, and the food at the restaurant is amazing. I highly recommend this venue. -

My husband I recently got married here last month and I cannot begin to say how much I love this venue! From the moment we first visited it (with Frungillo Caterers) we knew that this would be the perfect venue for us. We had our ceremony outdoors on their front lawn, our cocktail hour in their "Meeting House" and the reception in the adjacent tent. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and for our 4:30 pm wedding the lawn was shaded to help our guests keep cool during our July wedding. The Meeting House, which is used for the cocktail hour & a place for my girls and I to get our hair and makeup done, is a historic house dating back to the 1800's and has several quaint sitting rooms downstairs, along with two bathrooms, and then upstairs has additional rooms where most of the cocktail tables are set up. Outside there is also a small patio where we had our music (sax and keyboard) and the bar was also set up here.
In addition to providing the perfect setting for our wedding, the Inn was also able to accommodate our families and wedding party for both Friday (rehearsal) and Saturday (wedding) in their 17 rooms on the property with the help of Taylor Panetta, who is the point-person for booking rooms, scheduling rehearsal dinner and ordering all liquor for the wedding. During our entire process, Taylor (and her staff) were extremely easy to work with and able to make adjustments quickly and help a perfect wedding day! The Inn also provides a breakfast (part of the room cost), which is served buffet style and was great!
We had our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant at the Inn (upstairs), which was delicious and opted not to have it downstairs in their Tavern due to the cost. We did however host our cash bar 'after party' in the tavern, which was $350 to rent (10:00 pm-11:30 pm.) I would recommend doing this, as due to noise restrictions all receptions in the tent must end at 10:00 pm, and most guests still wanted to stay and enjoy the night. -

We are in love with The Inn at Millrace Pond! There are 17 quaint, comfortable rooms. All of my guests were very pleased. The bridal suite is roomy and romantic. We had our rehearsal dinner in the tavern downstairs, which is not only convenient, but comfortable with good food. (It's also a great place for an after party... we had one with food and drinks provided by the tavern.) Taylor worked with me over the course of a year to organize our guest rooms, the rehearsal dinner and other wedding day details. She was amazing; very responsive, professional and calming. I wish she was my wedding planner! The inn keeper, Dan, is always ready to accommodate your every need. And of course, Peggy Patton, has a flower shop on site if you need flowers... she is equally amazing! Creative, affordable and an overall sweet heart! She did out flowers, centerpieces, chuppa and even decorated our cake! Some notes to future brides:
- ask your DJ if he/she is capable of broadcasting music in all rooms of the cocktail hour house.
- I recommend no more than 140 guests for this tented venue. It can get tight under the tent and the dance floor is small.
- You will have to use Frungillo Caterers. The food is good, but just be diligent when making deals or agreements with them.
Overall, The Inn at Millrace Pond was a dream come true... you have to see it to visualize how cute and rustic your wedding could be. -

As addition to working with Frungillo Caterers in my previous review below, the venue, The Inn at Millrace Pond was stunning and well kept and perfect for an early fall wedding. All of our rooms at the inn were well kept and everyone had such a great time. Taylor the inn's manager was great to work with and super attentive to our needs through out getting ready and provided a delicious brunch for us! It is just so beautiful there! We also booked the inn so most of our close friends and family could stay and enjoy a country style breakfast buffet the next morning together.
Frungillo Caterers:
Frungillo Caterers at The Inn at Millrace Pond was fantastic to work with. Our wedding manager John Fucci was such a great help through out the whole process, very organized and such a nice guy! He helped with everything to the best of his ability and was extremely attentive with our needs. Everyone raved about the food and cocktail hour service. Our menu was Filet Mignon, Stuffed Chicken Breast and Salmon w/ an option for vegetarians too. Cake and desert was provided by an outside service. -

My Dream Wedding,
when we got engaged xmas of 2014 little did I know we were going to find the wedding spot of our dreams, as you can imagine we had the daunting job of find the
perfect place without breaking the bank:-)but It became apparent to us how difficult was starting to get finding venues that cater to intimate weddings such ours of seventy five guest. Then like a dream from above one friday afternoon I came upon the "Inn at Millrace Pond" It was absolutely EVERYTHING we imagined and more!! it turns out the Inn is a historical site where more than 150 years ago was at the heart of Hope New Jersey's economy as a working mill. My husband and I knew we have found our perfect place and the exciment of planning our wedding was up on the air; made evermore special by meeting the Manager at the Inn " Taylor Panetta"
Taylor went aboved and beyond to assist us in planning our day, any inquries, suggestions, and even tips for our wedding invitations were terrific our guest loved our unique invitations. As you continued reading you would realized what a little historical gem you hve just found :-) and even better Taylor will be there to make your day as magical as ours and your guest would be delighted with the charm of the inn, the beautiful pond, the working mill and the gorgeous grounds.
Futhermore let's talk about Frungillo Caterers one word "exceptional" John Fucci the manager was incredible, he made sure every detail was on point easying our nerves and making our day one of kind :-) Our guest complemented us on how delightful the food was and the elegance of our wedding, Surprisingly people do noticed details as we do and are grateful for all the hard work and look forward to planning future gatherings with John and Taylor.
Cheers,
Johana & Tim

We worked with Taylor throughout our planning process for our wedding at the Inn at Millrace Pond. She was absolutely amazing and always responded to our emails quickly no matter how small or large the question was. She and Sue really keep the best interest of their couples at heart and worked with us to make our vision of our perfect day come true. The Inn truly feels like your home where you invite all of your family and friends to celebrate one of the most important days of your life with you. One of my favorite parts about getting married at the Inn, was being able to visit the Inn on multiple occasions throughout the year. The food at the restaurant is honestly so delicious that I started to make up excuses to visit the Inn during the year. We also had a small “after-party” at the tavern in the Inn after the wedding and let me tell you I’ve been hearing about how delicious the food was from all of my guests! We also filled the entire Inn with our guests and were able to continue the celebrations into the next morning by sharing (delicious!) breakfast with many of the guests. The rooms are just adorable and have so much character and it was so nice to have all of the festivities all in one place. The Inn is absolutely an amazing place to get married and even just to visit. I can’t wait to go back for years to come to celebrate our anniversaries! -

When my husband and I first stepped foot on the ground of the Inn at Millrace Pond we could not believe what a hidden gem we found. The property has an exquisite beauty and charm. The historic cottages and tavern, the gorgeous tent, the pond and greenery, fire pit, and enchanting mansion made this space perfect for our dream wedding. To top it off, Christine helped us make every detail of our wedding come together perfectly. The food at the Inn is delicious. Everyone stayed over the night of our wedding -- it felt like a quaint wedding village. We will always be appreciative to the Inn and how it made our wedding a dream come true. -

I saw this place and fell in love with the setting. We got married at Saint's Peter and Paul Perish, down the street and had the reception at the Inn. Christine was very helpful in dealing with a stressed bride. I dropped all the escort cards, table names, welcome bags, ect.. and Christine was calm and kind. She even offered to help us bring in all the things. I worked with John from the catering, who was very professional too.
My reception was outside in July but luckily had good weather, only 82 degrees and not much humidity. The Inn provided fans, which helped cool the dancers. If it had been hotter or more humid it would have been unbearable.
The food was amazing! Not just amazing for wedding food. The only complaint I heard was the portion was small but that was only from a couple of people. I heard the salads and horderves was also tasty (I was getting pics so I missed cocktail hour).
This place was wonderful and all of the workers were very helpful too! At the end of the night, they packed up all of the pictures and table names, toasting glasses, cake server, and gifts. They were wonderful!!!! -

Best Day of My Life
This was literally the best day of our lives. We got married in October 2025 and everything went perfectly. The Maitre'D, Tracey, along with her captain, Lia, were incredible and helped to coordinate everything to perfection the day of. The food was fantastic with so many options to choose from and came out so quickly. The venue itself has such a quiet charm to it, that it really warms the feel of the room. The outside is also incredible with cute cottages/places for guests to stay. We rented out the whole place and had a breakfast there the next time. The after party is also in their gristmill for an hour. All in all, a perfect experience. They can be specific about a few things going into it but nothing that couldn't be worked with. Absolutely recommend this venue if you want a beautiful country charm type of wedding. -

Best food best place
Our daughter was married here in June 2023. I cannot say enough good things about the inn. We initial spoke to Maria I believe she is in sales . She was so helpful and accommodating and after showing us the grounds which are beautiful and the new modern farmhouse that was completed in May 2023 we were blown away and new this was the place . Maria even came the day of my daughters wedding just to see our vision come alive and also to say good luck. I thought how sweet was that that she took the time to do so.
The Inn at Millrace is modern farmhouse reception meets old farmhouse for the cocktail hour since they were attached it made it so unique, and what was even nicer was that we had the availability of the old farmhouse During our reception to use as well.
We could have chosen the gristmill for the cocktail hour I believe which is spectacular too as it’s 200 years old but our wedding guest size was too large but it surely made a great after party for us to all to party in
The Inn I believe has 16 rooms and the most amazing bridal suite that is a converted barn . The Character and charm it had was beautiful and the newlyweds can stay in this amazing space along with their guest at the Inn and not have to leave the grounds which made things so convenient.
It also serves as an amazing bridal suite for the bride to get ready in with her bridal party. Tracy was our bridal attendant and although they may not serve food as it’s something you have the option to bring in which honestly I believe would be an amazing touch if they offered that option for you even if they had to charge for it as it was a little bit much getting everything together to bring to this suite the morning of. The Inn did provide water and coffee set up and a few things but not food.
Tracy are bridal attendant who also cared for our head tables and bride and groom throughout the day was an absolute “GEM”. Caring, helpful, kind and totally attentive throughout the entire day and evening Always making sure even during photos that we all had enough to eat and drink and went out of her way for everything.
Since my daughter’s wedding was a true DIY we needed to get into the venue prior to her Thursday wedding. They were incredibly accommodating allowing us to stay there for hours the Tuesday before in setting up our vision.
Eddie was the maître d and he is busy sometimes not being able to get back to us in time with some questions we had prior to event however with we cannot say enough great things about Eddie either . He was so accommodating attentive and kind as well and is excellent at what he does.
Tracy and Eddie would make an incredible team. I feel like Tracy should be Eddie’s assistant they would make a killer duo together.
Our guest could not have said enough greater things about the food and the whole venue itself. Incredible caterers, absolute delicious food and everything was seamless.
The price point for all we got was totally worth every penny .
We did an outdoor ceremony and having someone who can delegate that a bit smoother would of been a bit more helpful .
Our extended family stayed at the inn and loved their stay . Even the innkeeper Trish was helpful that day.
If you are looking for a great country unique setting in beautiful Hope nj and want the added touches of old meets new modern farm house with a beautiful old inn for your guest to stay plus the best food ever The Inn at Millrace was top notch. We couldn’t of been happier in the most magical day our family shared in together. Thank you Inn at Millrace Pond our daughters wedding was a dream come true!

A perfect wedding at the Inn
My daughter’s wedding was at the Inn this month. I couldn’t have been happier. It’s a beautiful rustic venue - from the grounds to the the gristmill and barn to the bridal suite and on the site rooms. Jerry was incredible - easy to work with, totally professional and made sure that everything was as we wanted. Even though he gently questioned some of our decisions (like an outdoor evening ceremony in late November) he made it work. He was there for the entire weekend and made sure everything was perfect. Maria was also fabulous, helping from the start with booking our date to our guests rooms and so much more . I would absolutely recommend The Inn at Millrace Pond! -

Pleasantly Surprised
My fiance and I went to this venue and immediately fell in love with everything it had to offer. The buildings and ambiance was incredible and we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. We had a rough start with the venue due to the shift in ownership last year and were skeptical as to how it would go, but the day of was extraordinary! Robert, the owner of the Inn was our maitre-d and we could not believe the care, service, and exceptional feel we had for ourselves and our guests. We booked all 17 rooms for the weekend of our wedding and can't speak highly enough of this venue. The Innkeeper and staff took care of everything we needed and ensured all present had an amazing experience. My husband and I will continue to come here for a weekend getaway, a special night out, and would highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking attentive service and a worry free experience. This venue is like stepping into another time and place, everything from the tavern/grist mill to the meeting house and outdoor space is beautiful and spacious. Working with the inn staff especially Taylor was great from beginning to end and we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding weekend to it's fullest. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and atmosphere for our beautiful september wedding. Just be mindful it's mostly outdoors so you want to be cognizant of the weather depending on the time of year but regardless it's beautiful and the added bonus is if you use Peggy Patton the Flower Mill florist onsite it will make the planning process a breeze. She was amazing to work with and transformed the space. Frungillo's the caterer you have to work with were good throughout the process, but where they really shined was assigning our maitre'd Angel. He was amazing!! I was pretty organized and provided as much direction as I could in writing and labeling my items for decor and he totally took my vision and executed beyond my expectations, my wedding at the Inn was a dream that I never wanted to end. -

My October wedding at The Inn at Millrace Pond was an absolute dream come true. Nestled in the heart of quaint Hope, New Jersey, the Inn at Millrace Pond is an absolutely gorgeous location, complete with a fantastic restaurant, tavern, 17 guest rooms, and wedding services. My husband and I were so thrilled to book this place- we loved the idea of having our ceremony & reception in one spot, and that our family & bridal party could stay on the grounds with us.
Besides looking as though it is straight out of a storybook, the Inn is run by a hard working & exceptional staff that were quite accommodating during our stay. Because we had the every room booked for the night of our wedding, I was able to utilize the entire grounds for wedding decor & activities. The outdoor ceremony was perfect, the wedding tent & cocktail hour building are comfortable and beautiful, and the rooms are charming. I loved the little fun details of having our wedding here- like the fire pit we were able to enjoy post-reception, and the use of the tavern for late night drinks. Breakfast the next day was delicious, too!
The *only* reason I did not give a full five stars for this location, is because I felt the Inn could have comped the room that my husband and I stayed in on our wedding night. Many hotels extend this courtesy, and we did have family and friends book every room in the Inn. We did not mind paying for the room, and at the end of the day that one cost is certainly not a deal breaker. Still in all, we spent a great deal of money at the Inn, and one comped room would have been a nice accommodation!
That detail aside, I will reiterate how pleased we were with the Inn and its staff. Exceptional service, and a completely perfect rustic & country wedding location! I highly recommend getting marred at the Inn at Millrace Pond! -

We are so glad we chose The Inn at Millrace Pond for our October wedding. We lucked out with a beautiful, sunny day that only added to the picturesque setting at the Inn, especially with the leaves changing colors. The staff at the Inn is professional, helpful & friendly. The rooms are old but well maintained & clean. They were flexible with me in reserving all of the rooms at the Inn & kept me in the loop when rooms opened up for the night before my wedding. They cleaned my bridal suite for me very early Saturday so I could get in there & start getting ready. As another bride pointed out, they do not give you a free room if you book all of the rooms but we did receive a 10% discount on each room for booking more than 10 rooms. Having breakfast included in everyone's room rate allowed us to enjoy breakfast with our family and friends who stayed at the Inn on Sunday morning without spending even more money. We could have opened the breakfast up to other people but the hours (8-10am only), size limitations & because the Inn was in the opposite direction of our other hotel and where most guests needed to drive to get home, we decided against it. Given the quality of the breakfast, we would've been disappointed if I paid $12/person to include other guests. One thing to note, the Inn (& not Frungillo Caterers who handles the cocktail hour/wedding reception food) is in charge of the "after party" in the tavern, if you choose to have one. We fell in love with the tavern, especially the fireplace, & decided to have an after party. I understand the after parties used to be overseen by Frungillo but the Inn is now taking this element over but we were misinformed on several different occasions about closing time, alcohol available & bartenders, which was a little frustrating. I would recommend working with Daniel, the Innkeeper, directly on after party items. Aside from those very minor things, it was our dream wedding and we're very grateful to the Inn staff! -

After tirelessly searching for a New Jersey venue that encompassed everything we envisioned for our wedding, the Inn at Millrace Pond was the answer we were hoping for. From the moment we contacted Frungillo Caterers and chose the Inn at the Millrace Pond to host our wedding, the planning process went seamlessly and all of our requests were accommodated to make our wedding truly unique. Guests raved about how delicious the food tasted, how gorgeous the quaint, rustic venue looked, and how the flow of the evening went without flaw. Our family, who stayed at the inn, were impressed with the historical and quant rooms and commented what a wonderful experience the weekend was. John Fucci, our wedding director, Taylor Panetta, manager at the Inn at Millrace Pond, and staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our wedding weekend flowed effortlessly. One of our favorite memories from our wedding day includes John pulling us aside to view inside the tent before all the guests were seated. We looked with amazement at how the tent was transformed into the “rustic-chic” space we had pictured, and how the staff added personal touches to the space to make us feel like our wedding was one of a kind. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives and all of our hopes and dreams were made a reality, and if we had to choose one word to describe everyone at the Inn at Millrace Pond, it would be exemplary.

We had a wonderful experience with John, Alberto, Christine, and the rest of the staff at the Inn at Millrace Pond. We did everything here--from the rehearsal lunch to the wedding itself to afterparty and the morning after. The food and service were incredible, and our guests raved about the elegant but comfortable atmosphere. They were very flexible in letting us bring in a lot of decor items the day before the wedding; they even helped us pack our things up at the end of the reception. My only complaint was that they surprised us with a complimentary lighting element for our reception, which we suspect was on the same circuit as our DJ because the power went out at one point during the dancing. It was only a few seconds (and not in total darkness) and actually made for a funny memory (our guests are still laughing about it), but just be sure that if they surprise YOU with lights that the DJ has separate power :) -

The inn is a beautiful place for a wedding. We wanted a romantic backyard feel and found it. We wanted a place that could house some of our friends and family on site for a great wedding weekend party and we found it. They had tennis courts which the boys used for wiffleball and a bonfire pit that we used after the wedding (although we had to bring our own chairs up to the site in the dark because no one helped us and there was not a lit path up the hill). With the onsite restaurant we were able to have the rehearsal dinner on site as well which made planning much easier. We were told we would be eating the food cooked at the Inn but ate food cooked by the caterer so that was a bit of a disappointment (especially for the price we paid) as the food at the Inn is top notch. The innkeeper, Christine, was very kind and flexible to my requests. The rooms are a little outdated and the towels are a bit rough and old looking. There is a florist on site, Peggy and she is absolutely WONDERFUL. She was extremely helpful during the process, even taking on jobs that did not involve flowers. Having a florist on site was extremely helpful because I chose very delicate flowers. They were able to stay in water until last minute and she pinned all the bouts on the men. If you want any decorating done you have to do it yourself. Overall, we felt our wedding was perfect and we had a great time at the Inn despite the few stressors (all from the caterers (Frungillo) and their broken promises. The caterer is the ONLY downfall to this venue. -

March 2026 wedding
My husband and I got married at The Inn at Millrace Pond in March 2026. First off, we would HIGHLY recommend getting married here. Our wedding day was magical. The event staff was great, the venue is beautiful, and the food was delicious. Our guests had an incredible time and the day was perfect. The true MVPs were Tracey (our maitre d) and Lia (our bridal attendant). These two ladies were so detail orientated and made sure every aspect of our day went off without any complication. Their hard work really made our day as special as it was! We also received our photos back and they are phenomenal. The venue property is extremely picturesque!
The pre-planning process definitely could use some refinement. There is limited communication from the venue in the months leading up to your wedding date and we weren't always 100% sure who our point of contact for certain things was. With that being said, the venue integrated a full wedding planning team the month prior to our wedding that we think will help aid in planning process moving forward. -

A Mixed Bag
My wife fell in love with the grounds and thought it would make for a unique and fun wedding day. It honestly is such a nice place, having a little village atmosphere. We were lucky that the rain held off. To all couples worried about rain and clouds, don't be, it's some of the best lighting for photos. Guests loved the meeting house used for cocktail and the tent set up for the reception. Everyone kept complimenting on how unique of an experience it was compared to the traditional ballroom style wedding. The complimentary room at the inn was also a nice touch. It was clean and inviting, and the perfect way to unwind after a long night. The innkeeper was friendly, and the next morning breakfast was a perfect way to end our wedding weekend.
Cocktail hour food was tasty, but we wish we had a chance to enjoy it more. Not the venue's fault as we ran a bit late in the beginning and had to take couples portraits during cocktail hour. Our maitre'd brought us a few of each thing after the ceremony, but we wish the caterers had saved us a few things on the side for later as we were sidetracked with guests and photographers. We should have maybe asked for them to do this for us. From what we did get to try we loved, and guests raved about the lobster roll and pulled pork on cornbread. The main entrees were great and served warm. They allowed my wife and I to select multiple options for our plates, which was very kind of them! Our server was great, and attentive to us all night. Guests loved the filet mignon and the signature drinks. They were able to accommodate us and provide pumpkin vodka for the recipe we selected. The bartenders were AWESOME and friendly and did not water down the drinks. In fact, the Matron of Honor had to fill up on some bread before she gave her toast...she didn't expect the drinks to hit her like they did! The only downside was the secret vegetarian option. We did find out later that the cauliflower steak was not the greatest hit with our vegetarian guests. We felt bad as they mentioned they left a bit hungry, but we understand this isn't a main menu option.
Communication with a venue is vital in ensuring everything goes smoothly. Weddings have a lot of moving parts and your venue plays a big role in making those little things happen. We hope Frungillos services their couples at the Inn more efficiently in the future. We were told at our 3-month meeting that we would be able to drop off our items the day before our wedding. This was fine with us, even though most venues require to drop off a week in advance. We figured it was extra prep time for us. We inquired about how drop off would work weeks before our day, and were thrown for a loop when they asked if we could drop off items the morning of our wedding. We honestly panicked. How were we going to do that on our wedding day during getting ready? After a bit of back and forth, our maitre'd did end up finding a space for our items above the florist shop located on the grounds. We were relieved at first. Then a few days before our day we were told to have our groomsmen bring all items to the tent once we arrived and we were instantly stressed out again. My wife was specific about not wanting the groomsmen and I to have to carry everything down in tuxedos, and wasting photography time. We scheduled enough time to decorate the meeting house (couples are responsible for this), not to bring everything down from the florist shop. We were told in an email that they didn't have the staff the day of to bring the items down, but that our maitre'd would help as much as possible the day of. We didn't even answer their email because we were stressed and figured it was no use so close to the day. My wife and I left for the venue with this weighing on us. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the staff was able to bring everything down for us. Even though it got done in the end, we still don't understand how Frungillo Caterers isn't equipped to deal with this smoother. We are grateful that the staff was able to help us out in the end though. They did a good job with setup, and the candy bar on the repurposed drink cart was a hit! They ultimately did a phenomenal job with what was provided to them and making our vision a reality.
The other issue was the cake. Yes, It's just a cake, but you should love the way it looks. My wife wanted gold brush strokes added in cake paint on buttercream. Nothing crazy, just similar to what we had done for our engagement party. We waited close to three weeks for a response. When we finally reached out again we were told that our preferred design could not be done on a buttercream cake. We could not understand this and tried to tell them we had a similar design done on buttercream for our engagement party, and even looked up videos to make sure we weren't crazy. They gave us pricing for airbrush on buttercream or brushstrokes on fondant but it would not have produced the look or taste we wanted. It was also pricy. They tried to accommodate by offering a refund if we wanted to get a cake elsewhere, but it was too late in the game to find a baker and we had already printed menus. We had no choice but to let it go and ended up with a boring white cake at the end of it. Cake was very good though flavor-wise though!
Dessert:Desert was a letdown. Our food options stated Italian pastries, but all it was were a few small/medium-sized chocolate-covered strawberries, tiny cannolis, and one kind of cookie....we are italian...this is far from Italian pastries. If it wrent for the surprise dip n dots cart that my parents purchased, the desert would not have been enough. We also are under the impression that the lack of dessert prompted half of our guests to leave a bit earlier than we anticipated. We strongly recommend adding a desert from the catering menu, or a dessert truck or cart. We are trying to be optimistic that the desert was worth it, but realistically we toured other venues that were close in price to the Inn at Millrace Pond and had double the dessert.
All in all, the Inn at Millrace Pond is a unique experience for guests. We wouldn't say don't go for it, but just to keep on top of things. Happy planning and luck to all couples. -

Great! Over all pleasant experience.
I had a pleasant experience at the Inn at Millrace Pond. The food was great, the property was great. The overall atmosphere was great. The price of things was great because of how much was included. 8+ hors d’oeuvres and a food station for cocktail hour and multiple choices for dinner that your guests don’t have to choose before hand!
Some cons were the response time from the maître d’ who wouldn’t contact us or respond to us until 4 months before the wedding. Then he became a salesman with us trying to get us to upgrade our package which was a whole gimmick on his part. Although when the day came he was very helpful with keeping track of guests and the schedule.
I’d recommend this venue to anyone in the area :) -

Hindsight is 20/20
I have waited to write a review until after my daughter’s wedding at the Inn at Millrace Pond . She and her husband fell in love with the venue. They loved the vibe of the various buildings, the property etc.
Let’s start with the positives. The staff the day of the event were fabulous. I cannot say enough about Tracy and Leah. If you have the luck of having them ,then your event will be seamless! The rest of the staff.. servers, bartenders etc could not have been more friendly, accommodating and everyone got a multitude of complements from the guests. The food for the main course at the reception was delicious and the presentation was excellent. My cousins, who are caterers in NY and guests at the wedding, even commented on the food! The new ceremony/ reception space is amazing.
From the start they charge for everything! I was able to negotiate not having to pay $150.00 to use a 3 sided wooden arch for the ceremony and another price for vendors. As previously mentioned, my family is in the catering business so I was aware of customary chgs. In return for this they upped my min from 110 to 140 guests!!! I thought 125 was fair but they were firm.
They did tell us if there was a wedding the night before we would have to get ready in the farmhouse. The up and down stairs, the moving everything back and forth was not a great option in hindsight.
The farmhouse for the cocktail hour was crowded and the outdoor space we were shown initially was not open. I don’t know if they were waiting for permits?? There was minimal seating and tables for guests. So much so that people that got seats did not want to move. Watching people holding a drink and plate with no where to go and trying to navigate the stairs was a concern. One of the guests fell on the stairs carrying his 3 yr old.
The line for one station upstairs was overly long and a lot of people were not aware of another station in a small room on the first floor.
If I had it to do over I would ask for a tray of the pass arounds because I missed a lot of them. I even think asking for some pass arounds for the bridal party would have been a good idea. I don’t feel that would have been out of line as I paid for a majority of the venue cost.
We wanted pillar candles placed on the table. They were box ready with the candles in each. They wanted to charge us $450.00 to put them on the tables. A friend of my daughters had them done in 30 min. When we booked thankfully we were told we could bring snacks to munch on while having hair and make up. Presently there is a charge for that.
We were given pricing for the rooms onsite. The prices were $165/205 etc. I understand prices do go up but we should have been told that so we could inform our guests. The rooms ended up being $289.00 which included an $8.00 room cleaning fee!
The venue is beautiful but with that and the historic rustic buildings there are risks for elderly, handicapped etc guests that one needs to think about. Getting my mom around the venue and even into her room was a project that many people don’t consider.-

First, please understand that when working with the Inn at Millrace Pond, you will also be working with Frungillo Catering Company. They do not communicate all that well… so when you speak to one about a topic, go immediately and speak to the other. Please see other reviews for Frungillo Carterers by searching for their catering company.
When my now husband and I fell in Love with the Inn at Millrace pond, we were not given this information above. So we learned the hard way... about 3 months after we booked, I found out that they have just learned about our wedding on that Friday and that we will not be allowed to stay at the inn on that Friday night, because the Saturday couple booked all the rooms for that night. SO I was told we won’tt have a Bridal sweet the night of our Wedding!!
Long story short, I was really questioning continuing to have our wedding there, but I didn’t want to lose the $3500 we already put down. I had to book hotels and a shuttle service, things that were not in my budget. So when speaking with Taylor to determine what went wrong, she explained that John Fucci, from Frungillo’s and the Inn were not communicating about all weddings...
Once I got over the fact that we couldn't stay there and that there were going to be people checking in during my ceremony!!! I asked that we could at least have a late check out so that my bridal party and I could get ready there. Sue Anne, the owner, took Months to finally agree to that. She was very difficult to get a hold of, let alone to just talk to her without obviously not wanting to talk to me or my mother. Working with her right hand girl, Taylor, was much better. SO in the end... we got our late check out after a lot of begging and negotiating... but it wasn't a pleasant experience.
However, the location is beautiful!! Like Scenes from out of a Magazine! So in the end, the Inn was very difficult to work with… but our wedding day was beautiful. Thank you. -

Our Family, Friends and Vendors made our Wedding Day perfect, not the Venue.
My husband and I hosted our Wedding at the Inn this past September - Our Day was absolutely Beautiful thanks to our vendors, family and friends who celebrated with us.
However, I do have many complaints. I understand that they were still updating, however, weddings should have been pushed off until ALL Reno was completed.
The Inn itself is not as updated as its been made out to seem. We paid a large chunk of money to have our wedding here and we had more than too many acceptable issues. Booking rooms was an absolute nightmare. You get minimal to no responses back from staff - as they only have 1 person who actually controls bookings. Rooms were dirty, most of our guests experienced issues with the showers/running water.
The grounds - the barn is beautiful. The house is beautiful. They've remodeled those wonderfully. HOWEVER. My father and my husbands father had to go out THE MORNING of our wedding to buy a few flower arrangements to replace the DEAD flowers the Inn thought was acceptable to have placed around. Not more than 2 weeks AFTER our wedding, the Inn is now supplying beautiful flowers pots all over the yard. There was ZERO signs for the entrance so we had many people passing the parking lot .... they now have a beautiful sign for the entrance. Did OUR money pay for all of this?!
The bridal suite. Its a beautiful room. Two weeks - a month after my wedding, they updated the space yet again to have a designated hair/makeup station ... we had a clunky old desk and had to request multiple chairs to accommodate the needs for the morning of getting ready.
As beautiful as our day was, and as happy as we were with each other and celebrating with our guests, the frustration of the "small things" certainly weighed on us. They need staff .... our wedding coordinator should not be hosing down sidewalks the morning of, running food trays, scooping rice during cocktail hour.
I think we are most disappointed now because we are seeing how many NEW changes have been made in only a months time from when we had our Wedding. its frustrating and a bit annoying as these are all things we pointed out yet paid for the absolute BARE minimum.
We don't regret our Wedding, but if we knew the Inn needed more time to actually complete the necessary renovations, we would have waited.
side note... the food was great tho. -

My One Wedding Regret
Due to its proximity to Jack’s Barn, my husband and I decided to book the accommodations for our guests and our rehearsal dinner at the Inn at Millrace Pond. And out of everything I had planned for our wedding, it is my greatest regret. In fact, I am HUMILIATED by the experience my guests had and cannot express strongly enough how much you should NOT book rooms at this inn, which does not even offer basic amenities, is rude to its guests, overcharges for basic services and is run ineffectively.
Frungillo Caterers bought the Inn a couple of months ago and prior to the closing, the Inn was beautifully run, offered delicious food at its restaurant, and had an innkeeper named Taylor who was incredibly responsive and friendly. It was meticulously maintained and charming. Then, Frungillo came in, let Taylor go and only opens the inn for catered events. And everything changed.
Frungillo did provide delicious food for our rehearsal dinner and all of the staff working the dinner were friendly, attentive and hard-working. In that regard, I do not fault Frungillo. Yet, as for the rest, it was a disaster.
1. The new innkeeper, Jessica, is unpleasant, unhappy and rude to the guests. When everyone was calling to make reservations, no one answered the phone and my guests had to call multiple times to get a reservation. During their stay, she was rude to them (several of them let me know this) and locked the door after a certain hour in the evening, making it impossible to get any help or ask any questions. When I would email her, it would take her days or weeks to reply, and when she did reply, her answers were clipped and curt.
2. Upon arrival at the inn, all of the guests received a slip of paper saying there was no cable TV in any of the rooms. I was not notified in advance that this would be the case. For all guests stuck there during the day before the wedding began or my Aunt who was there the night of the wedding watching my cousin’s baby, they had no TV to watch. They did not reduce the rates of the rooms despite not providing this basic amenity.
3. On the day of the wedding, the main building had NO HOT WATER!!! Therefore, all of our guests including the bridesmaids and groomsmen had to take an ice cold shower. The men had to do cold shaves. The showers also have no water pressure, so they had to take an extremely long shower under trickling freezing, cold water. I was humiliated. The boiler was broken in the main building, something that should have been checked prior to our weekend event. Again, no discount was offered to our guests and they had to pay full price.
4. The phones in the rooms were all disconnected. Therefore, when our guests tried to call reception (when there was NO HOT WATER), they could not do so. All lines were dead. They had to go down to talk to Jessica, only to find no one at the main desk.
5. I had made arrangements with John to hold an after-party until midnight after the wedding. To simply open the space, they charged us $350 and then another $150 for the bartender. My husband and I and the bridal and groom’s parties did not get back to the inn until 11:30pm. Despite the arrangement that it would stay open until midnight, they locked the door to the tavern on us at 11:30pm. I contacted John about this and asked for a reimbursement for the time we were denied and he never got back to me. He said the owners wouldn’t do it because of the cost of turning on the lights. Huh?!
6. We also paid money to have the firepit made available to us both nights and due to rain, the firepit would not work one night. We were supposed to be refunded for that and again, that never happened.
The Inn at Millrace is extremely charming and does have beautiful rooms. Yet, in the transition to the new ownership, it is no longer being effectively run. Therefore, while they figure it out, I would refrain from booking any major events there. I worked extremely hard to make sure our guests would have a fabulous experience at our wedding and the inn let me down in every respect. I cannot apologize enough to our guests and am quite frankly embarrassed by this entire debacle. We brought thousands of dollars into the inn with our event and were treated distastefully.

It disheartens me to have to leave a poor review for the Inn. We fell in love with the Inn and were beyond excited to have our wedding there, this location is BEAUTIFUL! What you should know when booking a wedding here is that Frungillo runs the ceremony and reception and the Inn is responsible for any rooms you book, rehearsal dinner, after party, etc. if you should choose to book with them. Unfortunately, the communication between the Inn and Frungillo is extremely poor. When we booked our wedding (well over a year in advanced) we booked every room in the Inn for both Friday and Saturday nights, booked our rehearsal dinner Friday night and after party Saturday night at the Inn. Frungillo booked a Friday night wedding and we started receiving calls from both the caterer and the Inn asking us to release rooms for Friday night. Unfortunately, we were unable to because we had family coming in from out of town and our rooms were full. They continued to ask us to check in late on Friday up until a few days before the wedding. We paid an additional fee to have a private room after party in the tavern and arranged to pay for the entire bar tab. When we arrived to the tavern for the after party we were surprised to find other people at the bar and the bartender began charging our guests. There were also issues with our rooms, for instance there was a leak in the ceiling of one of the rooms that was never fixed. Our bridal suite was never cleaned and when we arrived they couldn't find the key to our room causing us to have to rush to get to our rehearsal dinner on time. Also, one of our guests was charged twice for her room. Lexie, Taylor, and Dan are all amazing and a true pleasure to work with. However, unfortunately the manager Sue-Ann is disorganized, uncommunicative, and difficult to work with. Finally, when we checked out on Sunday the woman at the front desk was BEYOND rude and treated us so poorly it was embarrassing. Overall, the Inn was just such a poor experience. -

The venue is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for a unique outdoor venue that really highlights the beauty of nature and the outdoors, then this venue is for you. In addition to the beauty of the venue, having onsite rooms was a major plus for us. The Inn also has its own restaurant/bar onsite, which we thought would also be convenient for rehearsal dinner/reveling after the wedding. This turned out to not be the case. The manager of the Inn, Sue Ann, Is not very responsive or accommodating. She is the person that you must work with to plan the rehearsal dinner (if you plan to have it at The Inn, which I personally would not recommend). When trying to confirm availability of the restaurant for our rehearsal dinner, she took several weeks to get back to us and seemed bothered by me reaching out to her for a response. She recommended we go with the family style menu for our rehearsal dinner. The food was served cold as if it had been prepared much in advance of our event. There was also not enough food for all of our guests. It was extremely embarrassing when my father in-law asked for more steak and the waitress told him “there was no more” The wait staff rushed the meal along trying to get us out to make room for the Friday night rush. The rehearsal dinner was a real disappointment despite it being rather pricey per person. We wanted to have our guests use the bar in the restaurant after our wedding. We first tried to check with Sue Ann to confirm that they would be able accommodate our guests for a couple of hours after the wedding. Again, Sue Ann was not reachable by phone or email. In the end we did not end up having our guests back at the Inn bar after Sue Ann finally emailed back telling us that they would keep the bar open until 11:30 for an additional $250. Pretty venue but don't expect top notch service. Rooms are expensive. -
