I highly recommend hiring The House of Make Up for your wedding!! Alyssa and her team were incredible! I had a massive bridal party of 12 people and they some how made sure the morning of my wedding ran incredibly smoothly and stress free completing STUNNING hair and makeup for 15 people!! All 12 of my bridesmaids, my mother, mother-in-law, and myself all LOVED our hair in makeup and even at the end of the night on a warm day in July our hair and make up still looked perfect!

So awesome!

The whole team at the House of Makeup was incredible with styling my bridesmaids, mothers and myself for my wedding day! From the very beginning to the day of, the House of Makeup has been so helpful with all of the details! Gina was the talented bridal stylist and she made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and all of my bridal party loved the helpful and talented services of the hair and makeup stylists! We all felt so beautiful all night!

I will definitely reach out to House of Makeup again for a future event!

The best!

The best in the business! My stylist was Alyssa who was simply amazing; however every single stylist there was phenomenal! Alyssa Lucianna Brianna and the entire team were so unbelievably talented! They made pictures come to life! The team made everyone feel so comfortable and they were obsessed with their looks. Not only do I think that they are the best but my bridesmaids, mother, mother in law were blown away! Everyone was so happy and said they would recommend House of makeup! No one is better than this company!

I booked the House of Makeup for my wedding this past April and had the BEST experience. I knew I was in good hands because they came highly recommended from three of my friends that used them for their weddings, and they looked absolutely stunning.
I booked Crissy for myself (highly recommend all brides do the same) and she completely nailed the look I was going for. My mom, MIL, and 6 bridesmaids were so happy with how their hair and make up came out too, and a friend of mine booked them immediately after my wedding for hers that is coming up at the end of the month!
Aside from how talented they all are, the studio could not be cuter, and I could not be more obsessed with their products. Buy "Gossamer" and book the House of Makeup!!! You will not regret either decision :)

Absolutely flawless in every aspect!

I got married on 6/29/2019 and Chrissy and Alyssa made my entire bridal party look absolutely flawless! I've done 4 other makeup trials and as soon as Chrissy glammed me up I booked that day. No one could simply compare. I had an early afternoon ceremony and we all had to be awake super early (4am). When I got to the room where we were all getting ready Alyssa was already there with all her supplies set up ready to go. She made my entire bridal party feel so comfortable and listened to each of their requests. The artistry skills that Chrissy has is impeccable. My makeup looked better then I could ever imagine and after having my ceremony in 95 degree humid heat and crying 3+ times my make-up did not move from my face at all. Chrissy is hands down one of the sweetest souls I know and the day of my wedding it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. A moment I will never forget is after my mom was glammed she looked in the mirror with tears in her eyes and said, "I never felt and looked more beautiful." I will cherish that moment forever. I couldn't be more pleased with The House Of Makeup service and professionalism!

Amazing!

I cannot say enough good things about The House of Make Up. Alyssa and her team were incredible. I have never felt more beautiful in my life than on my wedding day thanks to them. My hair and make up both turned out exactly how I envisioned and lasted from morning til night with no touch ups. Alyssa was incredibly sweet and took her time to really nail everything I wanted about my wedding day look. From here on out if I ever need hair and make up again The House of Make up would be the only one I’d choose.

The girls were amazing

Alyssa did my bridal make up and hair and it came out PERFECT! the other two girls did my bridesmaids and were very friendly and so a great job. Anything that a girl wanted altered or fixed they were willing to do with no hesitation!

Made us all look picture perfect!

Gina was amazing for bridal makeup! She paid close attention to detail and did not finish until I looked absolutely perfect! Samantha and Gena also did a great job for the bridesmaids. They were efficient but also did a great job and even did touch ups at the end. You cannot go wrong with the House of Makeup! You will look flawless and your make up will last all night!

Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face!

Had my wedding this past Friday and Gina made me feel and look my absolute best! My lashes had a little trouble sticking considering my eye kept tearing and after three applications it finally stuck! Through the process Gina kept me calm and worked her magic! My hair and makeup also lasted all night long and I received so many compliments! Kristen and Bobby took care of the MOB/MOG, bridesmaids and flower girl and EVERY single girl (including the picky ones) were absolutely obsessed and loved their makeup! All of these glam artists made myself and my girls feel and look so beautiful and I couldn’t be more thankful for The House of Makeup for doing such an amazing work! They were worth every penny and I will be using them for future occasions! Thank you so much for everything!! 💜

I could not be happier with The House of Makeup!!! They are truly amazing! I first inquired with them when I found out they would send a team of people on my wedding day (which was important to me). Victoria will be the person you talk to when you are booking/have questions/want to schedule your trial. She is so sweet and so responsive! Then, at my trial, I truly realized how phenomenal they are. They make you and your bridesmaids look flawless! I had Crissy do my hair and makeup and she is just so amazing - a true artist (and fun to talk to while you're getting ready on your big day!). I have very thin hair and she somehow got a full set of extensions (which I ordered from The House of Makeup) in my hair and it looked so natural! Brianna, Gina and Akiyo did my bridesmaids' hair and makeup and they were all so happy with how they looked!! Usually, the focus is on the bride, not the bridesmaids, but The House of Makeup makes sure everyone looks gorgeous! I booked the touch up services expecting that someone would touch me up once before and once after my ceremony. Boy was I wrong - Akiyo stayed with me all day! She was such a trooper! She put my veil in, calmed my nerves prior to my first look, helped with my train all day, she came to the Montauk Lighthouse with us (where it was freezing and windy) and fixed my veil and makeup while we took pictures, she re-did my hair (because of all the wind) before my ceremony, touched me up after the ceremony and was there throughout the whole day. That was way more than I expected and it was just so nice! I could go on and on - The House of Makeup is the best!!

Obsessed! I literally could not be happier with how my makeup came out, and all of my girls said the same. And for your bridal party: airbrush/lashes included for $100 - can’t beat it!. Every MUA that works there is unreal.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the House of Makeup. Crissy and her team are such an amazingly talented group of women. From my bridal trial to my wedding day, they listened to my ideas, shared helpful suggestions, and made sure I felt and looked my absolute best on wedding day! Not only was I thrilled with their services, but I also wanted to become best friends with them. Crissy put me at ease on my wedding day (I had nervous jitters because it was rainy and cold) and made me look fabulous so nothing else mattered. She even went so far as to give me recommendations for our honeymoon and contact a friend she had who worked at the hotel we were staying at in Positano. Truthfully, I wish I could visit their studio on a weekly basis just to hang out with them. This group of women is so much more than a team of makeup artists and hair stylists-- they are a dream to work with and you know that you are in SUCH capable hands when working with them. I would highly recommend you make the House of Makeup part of your special day!!

The House of Makeup is the perfect full-service wedding glam team! Crissy & her team of artists were amazing to work with! The planning process and timeline building for the day-of was so easy thanks to Victoria. My hair and makeup lasted not only throughout my wedding day/night, but also for our wedding brunch the following day- no joke! Crissy skillfully worked her magic and created the most beautiful bridal glam, better than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend their 22" hair extensions (even if you have the length), my hair styling held so well with the extra volume. My mother, grandmother, and bridesmaids looked stunning dancing throughout the night. We all had so much fun getting ready, and it was such a relief to have one team provide both hair and make-up services.

I worked with Crissy and Victoria for about a year before my wedding (trials and booking). Every time I had a question, even if it were the simplest, one of the girls emailed or called within 24 hours. The House of Makeup's responsiveness and professionalism went above and beyond to make me, my mom, my sisters and my bridesmaids HAPPY AND BEAUTIFUL. On our wedding day, Crissy, Alyssa, Aiyko and Gina worked together for many hours to ensure we all felt our best. I could not recommend The House of Makeup enough from their hair and eyelash extensions to their sweet conversations and of course efficiency during touch up services (Thank you Alyssa!!!). Even now, almost 7 weeks after our wedding, I still love catching up with The House of Makeup on social media... we will absolutely be using their services for any of our upcoming events!! Chrissy the owner did my hair and makeup for both my bridal shower and wedding. I cannot say enough how professional al kind and a pleasure it was to have her be an integral part of my wedding day. I don’t even know where to start with how amazing Crissy and the House of Makeup team were for my wedding day...I could not be happier that I found them!! From the moment I met Crissy at my trial, I knew my look was going to be incredible. Making so many decisions around your wedding can be so overwhelming but I left her glam studio with such a sense of relief that I had found exactly what I wanted for hair + makeup.

I was obsessed with her style from the start and knew I was in great hands. Crissy is so warm, kind, and epitome of GLAM! She understood the aesthetic I was going for immediately. I felt like I was hanging with an old friend as we did my trial for hair + makeup in her studio - which is the cutest glam house!

On the morning of my wedding, the weather was not cooperating with my plan for a beach ceremony. Crissy dealt with my nerves, and throughout the process put me at ease. The whole team was equally fun and professional. My bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG could not believe how amazing they looked. Everyone was so accommodating and easy to work with. They were extremely efficient: showed up early, were clean and neat in the bridal suite - these little details seem silly but help the bride + bridal party focus on the day instead of the details.

Crissy/House of Makeup team do the best work, when I look back at my pictures I am blown away by how beautiful she made me look and feel!!

I am truly grateful I found Crissy and her team with House of Makeup. Two months before my wedding, they were able to accommodate me for my hair/makeup trial. The House of Makeup studio in Sayville is so cute and well decorated :) I was so happy with my results and decided to book them for my wedding day. I am so glad I finally found them because it was getting to be very difficult to find a company that did BOTH hair and makeup that would travel to the Hamptons for an affordable price. When the wedding day came, I had a team of 3 hair/makeup artists and they ALL did a fabulous job on my bridesmaids, mother in law, mother, and flower girl. Everyone was so pleased with their hair and makeup!!! I especially, could not have asked for a more perfect turnout. I decided to wear my hair down, instead of an up-do (which I did during the trial). I knew I was taking a risk by changing my mind last minute, but Alyssa did exactly what I had imagined in my head!!!! It was a dream come true!!! In hindsight, I do wish I had listened to them and purchased the touchups, as my hair fell flat during beach photos. Not their fault, only my own, but definitely recommend it to anyone considering whether or not to purchase touchups - it is SO worth it. It was an oddly humid beach day in November! All in all, I would give them a million stars if I could. They truly made my day so special and made me feel like a princess bride :) Thank you House of Makeup!

House of makeup did my bridal look and hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG. They are wonderful to work with and did an amazing job! My hair and makeup stayed all day and was so perfect for my wedding day! They know how to make a bride look and feel her best on her big day! They even helped place my veil and did touch ups before they left to ensure I looked my best. Everyone else who got their hair and makeup done loved their looks and felt they really listened to what they wanted instead of giving them the standard "bridesmaid" look. The house of makeup team was amazing! Chrissy and her team did an incredible job at creating perfect looks for my bridesmaids and moms. Crissy is professional, approachable and an absolute pleasure to be around. With little direction, she quite literally transformed my face during a trial session using the most appropriate colors/shading for my skin tone and style. The products she uses are high quality and wear well. Crissy and her team did an outstanding job on me and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding. I did multiple trials with makeup artists around Long Island and they were by far the most talented, professional and suited to do "photography perfect/glamed up" bridal makeup. Crissy was so patient when I went for three makeup trials with her- always listening and tweaking based upon what I would tell her. In the end, I told her to do what she thinks looks best on me and I was floored with the result. Save yourself three trials and give her free reign on the first try!

I found house of makeup here on wedding wire and I instantly fell in love with the style and glam that Crissy and the house of makeup girls provide via their website. I can't say enough how happy I was with everything and how beautiful I felt for the entire day. If I could give Crissy a million stars I would. Her work is amazing. She did my hair and makeup for my big day, and I could not have felt anymore beautiful. All of my bridesmaids, maid of honor and mom were so happy with their hair and makeup as well. I used Crissy's touch up services and had her stay till after the ceremony - SO WORTH IT. The House of Makeup team is amazing and Crissy Rose is the best makeup artist I have ever worked with. From my trial appointment through to the wedding day, she made sure I had every detail and need attended too and of course she made me and my whole bridal party look absolutely gorgeous. I could not recommend her enough. Her team is punctual, talented, and super friendly. Also her products are great I ended up buying her lip gloss which she used on me and I still use it all the time. If you have an upcoming wedding or special event look no further than the House of Makeup, they will not disappoint!

If you want to look like an absolute goddess on your wedding day, do not hesitate to call Crissy at The House of Makeup. She is a hair and makeup genius. Not only is she extremely talented, she is the loveliest lady out there and has become a good friend. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel like a movie star on the day of my wedding. I received a ton of compliments on my hair and makeup and that was all thanks to Crissy!
I have also had my makeup done by her staff and they are equally as amazing! Also, her office assistant is very organized, efficient and easy to work with.

Hair and makeup should not be an aspect of your wedding that you cut costs with. I used Crissy for my wedding for makeup and it was eaaily the best decision I made. My makeup stayed all night and I felt like the most beautiful version of myself. After your wedding day has come and gone,all that remains is your photos and video and I know I look incredible in both, all thanks to The House of Makeup.

I got married on 4/22 (a day wedding which means getting make up done veryyyy early which Crissy made a breeze) and am so thankful that I chose to use Crissy to do me, my mom and my sister's makeup for the event. She truly is a makeup genius and I received so many compliments during the event! I felt so beautiful and my makeup looked gorgeous not only in person but in pictures. I couldn't imagine having anyone else do my makeup and am so grateful for Crissy for making me look gorgeous! In addition, she made my sister and mom look incredibly stunning too! Using The House of Makeup for my wedding day was one of the best decisions i made throughout the entire planning process. My hair and makeup were both flawless and all of my bridesmaids looked stunning. I felt like a princess all day/night and that had a lot to do with how perfect my hair and makeup was. If i could give one piece of advice to brides to be, it would be to do hair and makeup trials BEFORE you book! I had two trials before finding The House of Makeup and both were awful. I would've been extremely disappointed if i had just booked them without doing a trial first. The House of Makeup was my third beauty trial, and Crissy NAILED IT. She understood exactly what i wanted and made my vision come to life. On my wedding day, she went above and beyond for me; focusing on every detail and consulting me throughout so I looked exactly how i wanted. I cannot say enough great things about Crissy and her team. They are all talented, friendly, punctual and made the morning of the wedding stress free. I will be recommending The House of Makeup to all of my bride-to-be friends :)

Crissy and her team did my hair styling on my wedding day as well as my bridesmaids and everything looked absolutely beautiful! I went for a trial in the adorable studio in Sayville a month before the wedding and Crissy did multiple hair styles for me to make sure I was completely happy and satisfied with my hair look. She is super helpful and sweet, suggesting different style options and taking photos of the looks from all angles to make sure everything was 100%. I also had snow the morning of my wedding day and was worried about timing of the day, but her and her team were there a few minutes early getting everything setup and ready to go. They also stayed and waited for me to be dressed and ready so they could help with my veil and any last minute touch ups! I could not have been happier with the way my hair looked for my wedding day and did not feel stressed or worried at all beforehand knowing I was using the House of Makeup! We also used them for my sister's wedding the year before and they delivered the same beautiful results! The House of Makeup is 5 star- consistently beautiful work, reliable, fun and friendly!! Words cannot express how happy I was to find Crissy. Passionate people do amazing things. I was the crazy bride, 6 hair trials and I have a beauty background. I am extremely picky & critical of both my hair/makeup. It has to be perfect. Crissy did both for my wedding day & stayed with me up until dinner. Which is a service that every needs to get. That service is priceless. Hair/makeup touchbases during all photos. She has a warmness about her that makes you feel so comforted & confident that you can trust her and let her work her magic. Crissy did mine and 3 of my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding. Not only is she amazingly talented, she is sweet, down to earth and someone I loved sharing moments of my wedding day with! Crissy was able to create 4 completely different looks that not only photographed amazing, But lasted for HOURS while looking untouched. All 4 of us went with airbrush foundation and we looked and felt incredible from 10 am to 2 am. Crissy gave us each exactly what we were looking for and I am so grateful she was our makeup artist!

Crissy and her glam squad are a must have for your special day! I was in a bridal party a couple years ago and Crissy and The House of Makeup did makeup on over 12 girls. Everyone looked flawless so I knew she was a must have on my special day. They travel to your location and they are so professional. They did everyone's hair and makeup with extra time to spare. There was nothing to worry about knowing they were there.

Worth every penny! The House of Makeup team styled myself ( Bride) and 10 Bridesmiads , 2 Mothers, a Flower girl, and Aunt on location. They arrived on time and finished on schedule with everyone looking flawless. They are the reason my morning was fun and ran smooth because of how professional they are. Also a perk was they included airbrush makeup and lashes for everyone. I booked the event touchups were the artist followed me around and touched me up for photos and before I walked down the isle I am SO happy I booked this because my photos are perfection. I also ordered my hair extensions through The House of Makeup which made a whirl of a difference in my hair style ( my hair looked like pintrest hair). Overall I'm obessed with this company and will be using them for future events. One last thing I reccomend doing at least 2 trials to try out different looks. I did 3 and did something different everytime this helps with realistic views on how it looked on me vers the photo I showed.

If you book anyone besides the House of Makeup, you are making a HUGE mistake because they truly are the BEST you'll find! Crissy and her team were absolutely AMAZING! I used Crissy for both my engagement shoot and my bridal shower before the big day and got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. The day of my wedding, she did an absolutely spectacular job and I looked even better than I ever could have dreamed I would look on my wedding day! My photos look so amazing and I have her to thank for that! All of my bridesmaids and my mom and stepmom also used the House of Makeup for their hair and makeup. I had a couple of girls who were not sure they wanted to have their makeup done, but after seeing me and some of the other girls get it done, they were completely sold on doing it! Crissy and her team are professional, courteous, and have great attention to detail. Any requests or suggestions my girls had, they followed and were happy to accommodate. Two weeks later, people are still asking me who did my hair and makeup for my wedding because of what a great job they did!

I cannot say enough GOOD things about Chrissy and her team!!! She was absolutely amazing with my trial to the point where she was so spot on about everything I wanted that I didn't even need a second one! Myself, my bridesmaids and the mothers went to her salon the morning of the wedding and her and her staff went above and beyond to make it a smooth, calm and relaxing morning. She stocked us up on champagne, water, macaroons- what else did we really need?! I kept Chrissy for event touch-ups and I wouldn't have done it any other way. The second we went to take pictures after our ceremony she was right there to fix my makeup, re-apply lip-gloss and fix my hair. If my dress or veil needed to be fixed she was right there to do it. She followed us to the reception location and made sure to be there ahead of time to set up her curling iron to do any touch ups to my hair that needed to be done. Not only is Chrissy very professional but she makes you feel extremely comfortable and treats you like family. If you don't book The House of Makeup for your wedding.. you're doing it all wrong!

I was blown away with all of my experiences at the House of Make-up. Crissy did an amazing job at my trial and then again for the big day. All of my girls loved their make-up, too and one was more stunning than the next. I also had my hair done with another stylist but I wasn't happy with the outcome. Crissy was there to the rescue to help keep me calm and re-do my hair to make it look beautiful and classy, exactly my vision. She was a true professional and very easy to work with. Super organized and a delight to have around. I really enjoyed having her there getting ready the morning of my wedding and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone interested in amazing make-up for their wedding or any other big event. Crissy was amazing! She capture the natural glow look I was going for at my trial and replicated it the day of my wedding. Everyone loved how natural I looked. I am so happy I decided to have her around for the touch up service, she was able to tough up my curls that had fallen way to loose as well as a little make up touch up as well. I highly recommend including that when booking Crissy! Being a nervous bride about my skin, Crissy answered all 101 questions I had one what products to use from soap, cleanser, to masks and lotions. She was very helpful, as I wanted to make sure my skin was hydrated and ready to go for my wedding. Thank you again!

I met with Crissy in October 2015 for a bridal trial, and was beyond happy with the amazing job she did with my hair and make up. She had great ideas and tips for their and make up as well. I am, without a doubt, Crissy's biggest fan! My wedding planner recommended Crissy and the team at The House of Makeup and I am SO glad that she did... truly one-of-a-kind. The moment I met Crissy, at my hair + makeup trial, I was hooked. Crissy is kind, thoughtful, talented beyond words, and warm!

The House of Makeup showed up prior to our start time and was set up and ready to go exactly when they said they would be. They did hair + makeup for TWELVE bridesmaids (crazy, I know) and both mothers. Everyone was happy and done early. & let's be real ... that deserves some kind of medal.

The best decision I made was having Crissy stay for event touchups. It was a last minute decision and one I will forever be thankful that I made. Crissy was my voice of reason when I became anxious and my bodyguard! She touched me up, fixed my train, held by bouquet, picked confetti out of my hair when the wind blew the wrong way.... she did it all.

Crissy is the best in the biz. She is incredibly professional, humble, talented, flexible, and precise. She had her own vision but also listens; she touched up my bridesmaids even though that wasn't part of the plan, and made my mother and mother-in-law look amazing, even while touching me up. Crissy was honestly the single best vendor from my wedding. She is the best money I spent on my wedding, and she is a perfectionist's perfectionist-- and not your run of the mill makeup artist by any means. She knows the industry inside and out and has the most calm and professional demeanor but knows how to listen and has the knowledge to do her job well. Honestly, if I could give Crissy a million stars I would! Crissy and the team at The House of Makeup are truly amazing. As someone who takes their hair and makeup very seriously, it took me quite some time to find a vendor who I felt comfortable enough to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. When I came across The House of Makeup, I scheduled a trial with Crissy for my Engagement Shoot. The minute I met Crissy, I knew I made the right decision. She was so kind, listened to exactly what I liked and didn't like and made any necessary adjustments. After my first trial, we realized I didn't have enough hair to create the look I was going for so Crissy recommended I get hair extensions. I purchased my hair extensions from Crissy, not only was the quality of the hair amazing but she dyed them to match the ombre in my hair exactly.

The House of Makeup showed up prior to our start time and was set up and ready to go exactly when they said they would be. They did the hair and makeup for 9 Bridesmaids and both mothers and everyone was done early! I don't know about you but I have NEVER been in a bridal party when hair is makeup is done and ready to go before the photographer gets there, we've always been running behind.

I had Crissy stick around for most of the day for event touchups and it was worth every single penny. Crissy did so much more than powder my nose or touch up my lip gloss. She was literally next to me for every photo fixing my train or my veil and was an extra hand for anything I needed.

I really can't recall the last time I met someone who has such passion for their career and was so good at their craft but Crissy exudes so much love for her job. If you are debating who to use for your hair and makeup, save yourself the trouble and book The House of Makeup.

Chrissy was hands down one of the best parts of my wedding. I have problematic skin, redness, uneven skin tone, blemishes and large pores which I was of course concerned about. She suggested the airbrush makeup and it was fantastic. She did a FABULOUS job on both my hair and makeup. I showed her a photo of the hair style I wanted that morning and she recreated it perfectly. I am extremely picky about hair and makeup, I am neurotic and extensively research every single product I use on my hair and face. After reading Chrissy's reviews and seeing her portfolio I decided to contact her, after speaking with her on the phone I knew I had to have her for my Wedding. She is sweet, funny, relatable and professional. Not only was she amazing on my wedding day but I have continued to reach out to her with questions to this day and she is always amazingly patient, kind and helpful. I just love this girl. The House of Makeup is the best!! Crissy was incredible to work with. She is extremely professional and knowledgable about hair, make up, extensions, eye lashes, airbrushing and more. Crissy did an initial consultation and worked with me to make sure I loved it. On the day of the wedding she arrived early and with a smile on her face. The House of Makeup is INCREDIBLE! I had a California beach wedding in August & I knew right away that I needed the House of Makeup to be there! Crissy completely exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond in every way possible! Prior to my wedding day Crissy called me several times to discuss the look I was going for. She knew exactly what she needed and brought all of the supplies out with her from New York. On the day of my wedding she spent the entire day making my mom, mother in law, sister, bridesmaids, and I look & feel beautiful. She had a smile on her face the entire time and was so professional and easy to work with. One of my favorite wedding memories was when my brother walked into the room and saw Crissy finishing up my hair and makeup. He started to cry and told me I looked like an angle. It was one of the only times I have ever seen him cry in my life and I will cherish that sweet memory forever. I truly felt like a bride. My family and I are very “beachy” & do not wear makeup often. Crissy knew exactly how to give us a natural look, while still feeling beautiful and special. My mom could not stop staring at herself in the mirror and my dad still talks about how amazing she looked that day. What can I say about Crissy..? Phenomenal, fun, responsive, talented, friendly, prompt.. I could go on and on. I used The House of Makeup for a photoshoot that my fiancee and I did in NYC. (We live in California, but are getting married in NYC) I used this photoshoot as my opportunity to work with Crissy since this is a destination wedding for us. Crissy was totally on board with this and I'm so happy I went with Crissy for this. Crissy spoke with me on the phone multiple times with all my questions and concerns and always was there to problem solve and answer all my questions. From the moment I spoke on the phone with her, I knew I made the right decision. My photoshoot was very early in the morning and on labor day. Crissy got to our hotel early, 3:30am, and started working right away! She was so nice and easy to talk that it made the early morning not even a big deal. She did my hair and makeup and everything turned out beautifully! My hair and makeup lasted the WHOLE DAY! I received compliments all day! Once I got the proofs from the photoshoot I got even more excited to work with Crissy because the photo came out great! I can't wait to work with Crissy and her team for the big day!! :)

I can't say enough great thinks about Crissy and the House of Makeup, she is truly a natural, which makes working with her so fun and easy. Her work speaks for itself, my makeup lasted my whole wedding day with NO touch-ups- Did I mention my wedding was in August?! Truly Amazing. Hands down, the best decision that I made throughout wedding planning was booking The House of Makeup. Crissy was extremely kind and responsive to all of my questions throughout the entire process (I booked a year in advance). On the day of, her team arrived early and did the hair and makeup for all 7 of my bridesmaids, my two flowers girls, my mom, and my mother-in-law on time and flawlessly. My girls were all so happy with everything! Crissy did such a fantastic job with my hair and makeup and stayed with me for event touch ups. Not only did she make me feel beautiful, but she also kept me calm throughout all of the craziness of the day. Thank you so much Crissy and everyone at The House of Makeup!!! The absolute best!!!

Chrissy flew out to California and beautified me (MOH) the bride, the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom with incredible hair and make up that lasted all night and then some! She is so sweet and fun to be around and does an outstanding job. She really pays attention to what you want and explains what she's doing the whole time.

Crissy and the House of Makeup team did a great job on my sister’s wedding over Memorial Day Weekend. They arrived promptly, jumped into action, and managed to get our entire entourage of 11 bridesmaids, the bride, and 2 moms out the door by our ridiculously early photo ready time of 10:30. They were very friendly and patient with our demanding group and remained flexible when we did not stick to the exact schedule that was initially discussed. Most importantly, we all looked amazing when they finished our hair and makeup. The fact that they do airbrush make up for everyone and have lots of lashes on hand was such a nice touch. We asked for big hair and a bit heavier make up to look good in pictures and they delivered!

Crissy and her team are top notch! From the beginning Crissy was a complete pro. She was very clear with pricing, instructions, scheduling, and what I needed to do to make my wedding day a success. We scheduled my hair and makeup trial on the Tuesday before my wedding because I wanted hair and makeup done for an event that night. The evening before my trial I panicked and realized I didn't have time to go to her salon because I had too many last minute errands. I called Crissy and within 30 minutes she had a solution for me. Her team came to me in my apartment and styled me there. I have never received so many compliments on my appearance! On my wedding day the team was on time and they styled my ELEVEN bridesmaids with efficiency and expertise. I was blown away by how gorgeous my girls looked. On top of that- Crissy made me look exactly how I wanted to look and better. My hair and makeup remained flawless all day. I highly recommend the House of Makeup for any styling needs and I will continue to work with them at every opportunity I get!

Crissy was AMAZING!!! If I could hire her to follow me around everyday I would!! Not only was Crissy incredible the day of the wedding, but she was extremely helpful all the months leading up to our big day. I love hair and makeup, I was definitely skeptical and picky when choosing for my wedding day. I met with quite a few vendors and finally found Crissy!
I was indecisive with my hair and did a few trials with her, she always listened and made any adjustments or changes needed. Crissy helped me with my skin care and matched my extensions perfectly to my hair color. She's quickly responsive and was a great support and contact to have through the whole planning process!

The day of the wedding Crissy and her team were great! They took on my diva bridesmaids and did a wonderful job with each of them! Crissy stayed with me for touch-ups the whole day leading up to the reception, which was one of the best decisions I made!!! She was there through all our photos...to fix my hair from the wind, took my veil in and out, touched up my makeup and even helped tame my 15 month-old niece, our flower girl. After our outside ceremony on the water and my unstoppable tears, she was there again to re-curl my hair and touch up my makeup. I've never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and I owe it all to Crissy and the House of Makeup Team! I've recommended her to all my friends (a few of them have already booked) and plan to use her as much as I can in the future! Thank you again for making me feel so special and gorgeous!

I was married a few weeks ago and used The House of Makeup for hair and makeup for my 5 bridesmaids and matron of honor. I started by doing a hair and makeup trial with Crissy for my bridal shower. I showed her pictures of what I wanted my look to be. We did 2 hair looks and 1 makeup. Both looks came out better than I imagined! The day of my wedding Crissy along with 2 other staff members came to our hotel to get us ready. They were awesome! We laughed all day and my bridal party was thrilled with each and everyone of their looks. I highly recommended Crissy and her team! Thank you guys for all of your hard work!

Crissy and the team at House of Makeup did Such a beautiful job that one of my bridesmaids wants them to do the make-up for her 2015 wedding! The ladies were professional, focused, and they listened to what we all wanted (5 bridesmaids, 2 groomsmaids, the MOB, MOG, and the bride) while sticking with the bride's (my) vision. The make-up was flawless the entire night - it looks perfect in pictures and it made all of the women in the bridal party feel special and beautiful, which is really what I wanted.

I picked Crissy from all the wonderful reviews about her. I went with my gut and was not disappointed. She deserves 5 stars and more!
I had my trial make-up done and was convinced I made the right decision.
She is so easy to talk to, the sweetest young lady you will ever meet, listens and is most attentive to what you want, and gives you her opinions and ideas which usually is the way to go. She knows her stuff and she is up to date on everything and you will be walking away looking like a better version of yourself only more gorgeous. My daughter and I had our make-up done for my son's wedding. From the look on my son's face when Crissy finished our make-up was confirmation she will become part of our family for many occasions ahead of us. I felt so pretty as well as my daughter and our make-up lasted all day. Literally we had that glow all day and I can honestly say I didn't want to take my make-up off!!!!!!!!!!You can tell Crissy loves what she does because it shows when she is finished with you. I cannot say enough great things about The House of Makeup. Crissy and her team did an absolutely amazing job of making me and my bridesmaids look gorgeous for my wedding day. They were on time, communicative, and so calming. Crissy is truly a breath of fresh air...she was so attentive and made sure that I not only liked, but loved my hair and makeup. I opted to have her stay and do event touch-ups - it was 100% worth it. She was with me from 1pm-5pm and during those hours she made sure I was absolutely perfect. She even came with us to an off-site picture location and stayed with me the entire time to ensure that in every photo not a hair was out of place. I cannot be any more thankful for The House of Makeup and I can't wait to use them again! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for hair or makeup services.

Crissy with The House of Makeup made me feel and look like a million bucks. Her and her team made the trip out to Montauk on a Friday morning! They worked hard to make sure everyone was happy with their hair and makeup. Crissy is an amazing artist. She was so attentive and calming. She was also there for me throughout our photo shoot and the reception to keep me looking flawless. The House of Makeup was absolutely amazing the day of my wedding. Crissy was very responsive throughout planning and so helpful in determining how much time she and her team would need to get all the girls ready on time. They showed up early and were so quick to set up. Crissy especially kept me calm all day and was there to answer any questions anyone had. I would totally recommend having her stay to do event touch ups. It was amazing to have her there to make sure every hair was in place. I cannot begin to express how WONDERFUL it was to work with Crissy and her team at The House of Makeup!!! From our preliminary conversations, to booking, to finished product (myself, my five bridesmaids and my mother), I cannot say enough about them!! I've had my hair/makeup done professionally a lot over the past year or so (as a bridesmaid) and I've always though "okay that's nice," but this was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!! I felt like the absolute BEST version of myself, and more gorgeous than I ever could have dreamed of looking on my wedding day! I've yet to get my professional photos back, but even the cell phone/camera photos from my guests... there's not ONE bad picture! I look flawless from every angle!! I opted for airbrush makeup, crazy long fake eyelashes and hair extensions. They were all perfect!! And Crissy and her team were absolute DOLLS to work with! We had such a fun time while all the beautifying was happening! They were all incredibly professional, EARLY to arrive, and stayed extra time to recreate some "getting ready" photos with my photogs,/videographer because I'd scheduled them later. BOOK THE HOUSE OF MAKEUP!!! You will not regret it! In fact.. if you DON'T, you WILL regret it!! No one wants to regret anything about their wedding day!!

I am so thankful that I had The House of Makeup on my big day. They arrived early at my venue/inn and set up in our room and immediately got going. We used pinterest to show them what we wanted and it was amazing. Everyone looked so beautiful and for me, I have crazy oily skin, but my makeup was on all night. It looked flawless. I used airbrush and am so happy I did! My hair stayed not a problem, even through the dancing! I was so happy that they come to you and it took away all the stress of having to drive to a salon on your big day. I just couldn't imagine it! Who doesn't want to drink champagne, lounging in a robe with their best friends while you get pampered!?

Fantastic Service!
I had an independent film premiere at a film festival and Crissy from the house of makeup worked with me on a time and came to my hotel room to do my hair and makeup. Crissy did my makeup for a wedding I was in as a bridesmaid, then I booked her to do my makeup for my wedding, then one of my bridesmaid booked her for her wedding. I LOVED the way I looked for both occasions and she really understood the look I was going for. Crissy was very professional, personable, and a lot of fun to work with.
