The Perfect Night Celebrating Our Wedding

We held our reception here and it was truly fantastic. Friendly & amazing staff, delicious food, beautiful venue, super accommodating. We loved Mike & our maitre’d Stefania. Our guests complimented everything from the venue look to the food. We loved the family run feel and they were flexible with a lot of our options. We had a truly perfect night!

Beautiful Wedding!

Old Bermuda Inn did a wonderful job for our wedding. They were very flexible with us having to reschedule twice with COVID. When we finally had our big day, everything went smoothly and was beautiful. Our bridal attendant was very helpful as well as the whole staff. All of our guests had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend!

What an amazing night!!!!

I cannot believe I forgot to write a review to The Old Bermuda Inn. We had lunch here prior to our 2016 wedding and the food was amazing. I worked with Mike DeForest (manager/coordinator) on a Wedding Plan that held more than 100 people. I have to say Mike was absolutely, positively awesome from setting up a food plan, decorating plan, and allowing us to bring in our own items as well. When most folks plan a wedding it is a bit stressful because of the costs, i.e. limo, photographer, dj, etc. Mike helped me budget during this stressful, but amazing time in my life; his knowledge and experience was greatly appreciated. Again, I honestly cannot believe I forgot to write a review. We lost both our grandmothers (both were at our wedding) and cousins (both were at the wedding) and as I am sitting here in tears remembering them, it also made me think of Mike, Cindy and the Bermuda staff on the absolute beauty of this wedding. I recall how AMAZING, AMAZING the food and spread was; I still remember the steak and beat myself up to this day for not finishing all my food :). If you are searching for a place to hold your special day, look no further, trust me when I say Mike, Cindy and the Old Bermuda staff went ABOVE and beyond to ensure my day was special. FYI - they even coordinated the outside vendors we hired. Money comes and goes (trust me at the time we were stressed), but the memories was so worth it. Thank you to the Bermuda team - My wedding was amazing thanks to your efforts and quality. Again, the food WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!.

Our winter wonderland wedding

I cannot say enough good things about The Historic Old Bermuda Inn. Cindy, Francine, Mike, Joan, and the entire staff are wonderful. They answered countless emails from me since May;. They eased every worry. They answered every question. They made our wedding a dream come true. It was the perfect Christmas wedding. I would highly recommend this location for any event. Our guests raved about the food, decor, ambiance, and staff. If you book here, you are in the best hands!

Treated like a princess.

I am so taken back by how thoughtful the staff is and made my wedding a night I will never forget. Everyone who works there are amazing. Mike, Cindy, and Joan made sure everything was perfect and for that, I’m extremely thankful.

50th Birthday Party

"Stress free and gracious"

My experience with your venue was stress- free and gracious. The method of payment, amount of guests, and table linens were all decided on a timely basis close to the event. We requested the food to be "Kosher Style" and the staff was very helpful in deciding the menu. On the day of the event, we were allowed to set-up one hour and a half before it started. The tables were set perfectly, The buffet food was hot plentiful and delicious. Nick was our waiter, his attention to detail would make me recommend The Inn to my friends.

Bridal Shower

I had my daughter’s bridal shower here; and the entire event was wonderful! Our maitre’d Bill and our server Joe were absolutely the best! They were so professional and catered to our every need! The only thing I would suggest is improved sound proofing! There was another party right next to us; and the music sounded like it was in our room. However, for me it didn’t diminish from what was a beautiful day! Great job guys!!

An AMAZING Reception!!!

An AMAZING reception. Myself along with my family have been having all our special occasion parties here for years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff, the service, the decor, and the food is absolutely excellent. I always feel so at home when I am there. Wonderful Event

Mike was amazing and helped me plan my sons communion perfectly. The food was great and I received many compliments on how well the food was as well as the staff. Joan was our party host. She was very attentive and accommodating. She checked on us often. Mike also came to the party to check on us as well. We were in great hands. I would truly recommend this place to everyone.

We celebrated my son’s Baptism at Old Bermuda Inn. The Mansion Room was perfect for our 45 guests. James was our maitre d' and was wonderful. He made sure the party ran smoothly from start to finish and we received many compliments from our guests, saying how nice the party was. The food was excellent too! Would definitely host another party at Old Bermuda Inn

Had a baby shower brunch with omelet station. Fabulous food, outstanding service. The various rooms to choose from for the actual party were all very nice and with a different feel to each one. Highly recommend, know others at our gathering plan to book events in the future at Old Bermuda Inn.

We knew as soon as we walked into The Old Bermuda Inn that this was where we wanted to celebrate our wedding. The place itself is completely beautiful and the workers are even better! From meeting Jill as soon as we walked in who greeted us like family, to Joan and Stephania who were the Bride's right-hand-women all night even for the smallest thing. All of the other workers seemed to have so much fun but were so professional. Things ran smoothly thanks to them. One big thing is how welcoming they really are there... We were putting together a breakout dance that took months to make perfect. Not only did this venue give us a room one night each week, for almost 6 months leading up to our wedding day, to practice but they also made sure we were hydrated through out each of our practices (Thanks Jill!). They also made sure our secret was kept between only us two and them and always gave us an audience to practice on if we felt the need!
Our guests are still raving about the food through out the entire night. From the cocktail hour to the venetian hour, the food was delicious!

We truly could not say enough kind words about The old Bermuda Inn. Just go there and see for yourself! You'll for sure fall in love with it all just like we did.

I had both my bridal shower, as well as my baby shower at the beautiful and elegant Historic Old Bermuda Inn. With both parties, my guests and I were treated with first class service. The food is amazing in both taste and presentation (either brunch style or buffet lunch are equally delicious). My maître d' named Bill was so professional and personable, you will be blown away with how well your party will run under his care! He truly has a passion for what he does and it shows when your entire party feels they are treated with 5 stars! All of the staff, equally go above and beyond for you from day 1. Josephine, the event coordinator even goes that extra mile to make your party as special as it can be. I always felt well taken care of and very organized because this venue makes you feel so special; effortlessly! You will not be disappointed in any room or menu you choose. Many of my friends and family come here, and will continue to for many years to come!

I Love this place. Beautifully decorated entry hall & rooms. My favorites are in the original part of the mansion to the left of the foyer, and the newer one downstairs. The 2nd floor rooms have outdoor terraces which look nice too. Hard to choose which room to have for your party. Had my daughter's Bridal shower in one of my faves - the downstairs Hamilton Square room - with its old world outdoor cafe vibe. Not a lot of decorating was needed. The room is adorable as is. Servers were attentive & helpful, Food & linens were perfect. Guests were all "ohhhh & ahhhh" over the space & had all positive feedback. Most importantly, the bride loved it. Everything was so easy & relaxed & looked beautiful. From the reception desk always answering or returning our calls, and the banquet manager keeping the planning on track, and the matre'd having a trolley rack ready at the door for guests to drop off gifts to be carrying downstairs to our party room, and the wait staff helping us set up our homemade displays & centerpieces, everyone was a pleasure to work with and paid attention to little details. They even gave us the lace umbrella & wishing well at no charge when they heard I have 2 daughters weddings within 1 month of each other!
Will definitely be coming back.

I was extremely satisfied with The Old Bermuda Inn. I tried to get the smallest room available on short notice, for a specific date-(on short notice), for my daughters bridal shower. I had hoped to get at least 30 guests, but had to settle for 17!! I was very disappointed, but I have to say they did their best to accommodate my small party, and they did not disappoint!!! The food was abundant and delicious, the service was stellar, the building itself is beautiful and well decorated. I was so very happy with how it all turned out, and all my guests complimented how much they enjoyed it. I know your staff was a big part of making that happen, as they were so attentive and pleasant. Thank you.

We had my Daughter's Sweet Sixteen Party there last week. It was an amazing event. She had a blast and so did we. All of our guests were raving about how excellent the food, drinks and service was. I had my daughters bridal shower brunch in the Cottage Room and it was absolutely perfect. The service and staff was very attentive and professional. The food was delicious and displayed perfectly. I would highly recommend this venue. My daughter, her guest and myself were very pleased with the party.

I had my parent's Surprise 30th Anniversary party at the Old Bermuda Inn this past weekend and everything leading up to and during the party was PERFECT. Cindy was absolutely amazing to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better evening and my parents were thrilled. Cindy helped me with all of the specifics including the decorations , linen, and menu. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to be able to not only have their guests enjoy the party , but for themselves as well.

My daughter's shower was amazing! The food was delicious, the punch bowls full and ready to go, the service of the entire staff was warm and friendly, attentive to detail and professional. The variety of menu was more than satisfying to all that attended. Tom and the staff were wonderful!!! He was on top of everything, making sure everything was exactly where and how it should be throughout the entire event. It was a pleasure from start to finish! I am beyond happy I chose this as my venue for my engagement party. During the affair everyone kept saying " this is so beautiful you should've just done the wedding like this !" The food was amazing. The staff even more so especially Joan, our Maitre d & Josephine who made all of the planning so simple. I would use this venue again in a heart beat. It's days later and people still keep talking about how much fun they had and how amazing everything was. Thank you OBI !

The Old Bermuda Inn is a fantastic venue. Great parking, beautifully decorated for seasons/holidays, great service, very good food and fantastic value for what you are getting. Perfect location for showers, christening, sweet 16's, 1st birthday's, etc. We just held my daughter's christening there (which was the 6th party my family hosted there) and it didn't disappoint.

My bridal shower was at the Old Bermuda Inn back in November. The place was adorable, such a cozy feel to it in the fall. Staff was very helpful and acommodating that day. Everyone had nothing but good things to say about the brunch and mimosas. I felt everything that day was flawless and that is mainly due to the great venue!

We had my daughter's wedding shower on a Sunday morning. It was a brunch buffet and everything was fresh and delicious. We chose the Hamilton room located downstairs. False store fronts made it feel as if we were in a Bermuda town. The front off the room displayed the front porch of a false house with a fence surrounding it. We placed her gifts here which made it look very decorative. Invited guests were extremely happy and would return for future events. We would like to thank Mike Deforest and staff for making our shower a success!!!

I was quite disappointed the deciding factor between this venue and the one we selected was the location. Unfortunately, our family didn't want to have to travel to Staten Island for a venue. Other than that, this place had all the bells and whistle for a great price. Mike, the manager was awesome. Definitely had us laughing and again disappointed. To all Brides to Be - this is a great venue!

The staff there is top notch! Mike the manager who booked our bat mitzvah was amazing and the staff that evening was so helpful and just "on" all the time to make sure we ahd what we needed.

its decorated so beautifully during Christmas time we even had a surprise visit from santa which was nice. Mike was very nice and accommodating who we booked the party through and so was the waitstaff for my party. It's also very reasonably priced!!!

I used the The Old Bermuda Inn for my daughter's bridal shower. I was so impressed with the service, food and the way they treated me and my guests. I can't say enough about how wonderful and organized they are. I would recommend them to any one. The matre'd Bill was so good to us and helpful with the set up and then he kept the party running on time. They helped with the loading of the gifts to and from the car. I can't say enough. Thank you for a wonderful day for my daughter.

It's a charming catering hall that has the bonus of being an historic icon here on Staten Island. My My husband and I as well as our guests were happy and impressed with the service. I recently had my wedding at the historic old Bermuda inn and I have to say it was the most amazing experience! They atmosphere was gorgeous the staff was extremely helpful and professional. Everyone raves how delicious the food was and how they had such an amazing time. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding I highly recommend the old Bermuda inn for your wedding or any special occasion I know for sure I will be booking future events with them. i would definitely recommend the Old Bermuda Inn for any venue. The food is great, staff is very professional, and the experience is all inclusive. They worry about everything and you are truly a guest. We used them for our engagement party, and most recently our son's christening brunch. Both parties were amazing and our guests are still talking about them to this day. Special mention to Mike who's very helpful with booking and appointments. We will definitely use them again in the future.

We had our wedding reception here on April 9, 2016. We worked with Mike and it was pleasure. He was so helpful in choosing our food, cake, and linens. We had so much food and top shelf open bar. In comparison with other places we looked prior- the OBI had the most for a fair price. Our maître d' was Joan and she was the best. She always made sure we ate. The food and service was amazing and the prices were unbeatable. Everyone loved the food and the beautiful atmosphere. we hope to have many more parties here!

The staff was very courteous. They were very helpful. The matradee was very attentive and ran the party perfectly. The food was amazing and the bartenders were wonderful. They made sure everything ran on time and every one had a wonderful time.

The old Bermuda inn is a lovely place to have any special event in your life. Mike is the person you will most likely deal with and for good reason. He is the best and helps you organize everything from the menu down to the floor plan for your party. All of the workers are well spoken and respected us the whole time we were there. The food is awesome and I recommended trying the prime rib next time you have an event. Overall, we had an amazing night and the venue was a bulk of what made the night that amazing.

We had our wedding here in October 2015 and also my bridal shower in August 2015. Everything was perfect! Our theme was fall and the hall was beautifully decorated. Josephine was amazing. The matre d' was also extremely accommodating, especially since I was literally sitting there paying for everything and getting calls from guests who told me they were coming and then suddenly weren't... IT HAPPENED TWICE! Bermuda Inn was like "no problem, don't add them to the total.." and recalculated all of my costs again. LOL. I had also alot of favors and special add-ons that they displayed really elegantly - I couldn't have asked for better. The bridal suite is also lovely and we made good use of it because I had a breastfeeding sister-in-law and a bridesmaid undergoing IVF injections. I highly recommend the Bermuda Inn!!!

I just married and I am so pleased with the manager Michael. Jill every single person at this beautiful historical place. We also stayed the night before at the bed and breakfast. Although it was only 1 degrees. They put plastic on the windows, brought us a little heater because it was so cold in our room, did everything possible to accommodate us with the bitter cold This place goes above and beyond to accommodate you and make you feel at home there. Our wedding the next day and we even had it in the chapel was just amazing from the rose petals down the aisle to the reception in the hall upstairs. The food was hot, the drinks were flowing, the waiters were so nice. The place was decorated so nice. I am so happy I chose this beautiful place to get married and I am no young chicken. I am 55 years old and have been to many weddings and have been married once before. This is a beautiful place to chose for your special occasion, whether it be a wedding or any special event. They really love their job, because they are so nice to you. By the way the use Renato's for their bakery for their cake, which I personally know Susan and the cake is so fresh and is so delicious, I was lucky to even taste my own wedding cake, people were asking for another piece. They even have a delicious wedding cake for you to eat. A place you must pick for your next event. You won't be sorry Trust me.

Had my daughter's first birthday party here land it was amazing!!! The brunch was delicious. People went up for seconds and thirds. Highly recommend. The staff was so helpful and accommodating! The Old Bermuda Inn went above and beyond for my wedding. From the beginning we were planning a smaller affair. Many other venues made us feel unwanted since we weren't having a huge 200 person lavish to-do. Not OBI, they were warm and welcoming and made us feel so special. Cindy and Josephine were wonderful every step of the way. A few months before the wedding I lost my job and were so worried about what to do because our small wedding budget got even smaller. Instead of penalizing us, or making us feel worse about the situation, Josephine sat down with us and figured out at new plan. They accommodated our rehearsal the night before even though they usually don't hold them on Friday's (we had out of towners coming in). The day of went off without a hitch. The staff was wonderful, wrangling our families and bridal parties, making sure my wife and I wanted for nothing. They served us a sampler dinner so we could taste all of the amazing food. Word of advice: I have never received so many compliments, as I did on the salmon with champagne dill sauce, one guest said it was the best salmon they'd ever had. The cake was perfect and they saved us the top even though we completely forgot to mention it. They even packed up all the center pieces/decorations and let us store them there overnight after the event. I would recommend OBI to anyone and everyone. They really knocked it out of the park.

I had an engagement party in the Harmony room for my daughter and it was beautifully arranged. The lobby decor was very festive for the season even going up the winding stairway. It made for beautiful pictures.
Upon arrival I was approached by the staff setting up and they made recommendations to rearrange a few tables. In a snap tables were being moved and the arrangement was perfect.
The food, service and decor was excellent. Everyone was very considerate and helpful with everything.
We were excited to find vase flowers on the table with our place cards. Everyone’s attention to detail was exceptional.
Our only disappointment was that the delicious left over food did not make it home with us. I will definitely recommend and plan another occasion with Old Bermuda Inn again. We were very pleased with everything.
