This venue was stunning and we fell in love instantly. It was so beautiful on its own, decorating only enhanced everything. The trees, hills etc. could not have been a better backdrop. They were communicative, open, very responsive, and detailed.
I also felt is was quite affordable for the space and compared to other venues. Our wedding was on a Sunday which was cheaper too. We got so many compliments on our day and the setting. -

We recently celebrated our wedding and reception at Hidden Meadow & Barn and it was ABSOLUTELY perfect! The venue was beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor spaces that created the perfect backdrop for our day. The staff was attentive, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guests raved about the setting and all the amenities. We couldn't have asked for a better place to host such a special occasion - highly recommend! -

AMAZING venue to work with!
The hidden meadow and barn was amazing to work with from day 1. For one it’s beautiful, but also the people who run the venue couldn’t have been more helpful along the way. They communicated everything so well, responded quickly and always had the answers I needed right away. We got so many compliments on the venue space, it was great for everyone to hangout, eat, drink, and celebrate our day! I couldn’t recommend them more for your wedding! -

I first stumbled up on the hidden meadow and barn (HM&B) on Instagram. It was a stunning venue and I immediately fell in love and Luckily it was only an hour away from us! Our experience with the venue and the staff was phenomenal and we are so glad we chose HM&B to tie the knot. The natural beauty cannot be beat. Our guests raved about the natural beauty of the location, a lot. But in addition to the natural beauty they have decorated spaces for photography and the barn while not in use provides a great back drop for pictures. It’s also very well organized and has everything you need such as easels, decorative tables, ample parking and even yard games for cocktail hour for use without an additional charge. We also thought the open house was very helpful and allowed us to find our caterer and photographer. The owner and the rest of the staff paid attention to all the details we discussed during planning sessions and promptly addressed any questions we had. As a result our day went smoothly. We wanted to purchase a few speciality beers from outside vendors and that was done without any issues.
We did not hear about any issues working with the venue from any of our vendors. We also rented the farm house for our wedding night and that was a beautiful place to stay, it was also well stocked and we had no issues with running water or wifi. We are so glad we were able to make HM&B our wedding venue.

We had the best day at Hidden Meadow. From the start of the day in the getting ready suites, to the generous scenery we had to take photos from, to the staff being incredible with communication especially with a massive thunderstorm rolling in an hour before the ceremony started. They were accommodating and made our dreams still come true. They went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests.
The venue itself its classic and stunning. My vision came true with the greens, trees, open spaces, and stunning stain glass windows in the ceremony space.
Communication with Hidden Meadow was outstanding from the beginning. We were put at ease with questions answered and felt prepared for the wedding day. I cannot say enough about our venue and will recommend it to anyone! -

The staff was very responsive to our questions all throughout the planning process. The two planning sessions with staff were so helpful in bringing to mind details I hadn’t thought about. The venue is absolutely stunning! And the staff were there to help the day run smoothly. Not having bathrooms in the getting ready spaces did make getting ready in the morning a little bit trickier but it’s still very manageable as bathrooms are close by. -

My Dream Wedding
This was the perfect place to have my wedding. It was affordable, Angela was very welcoming and friendly, and the staff during the day of our ceremony was awesome. They were polite and provided great service. Location was a plus for me, some said it was in the middle of nowhere, but most of my family is from California. I felt right at home, especially with the farmhouse rental! The day ran smoothly and that was just a good indicator of how professional this business is, while also feeling personal. There were no last minute details left out, and I had a great day. I wish I could go back already! It was so perfect! -

I had the most amazing experience having my wedding at this venue! I might of booked out 2 years in advance but it’s so worth it. The fall colors and the space for everyone to roam around I couldn’t have gotten more compliments . They are soo flexible with your needs and very price friendly for what you get. The communication is amazing as I could call or email and would get a response within 24 hours. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone if you want a beautiful outdoor venue! -

Best Decision I Made!
September 2023 Bride Here!
I have nothing but fantastic things to say about The Hidden Meadow and Barn. It is the most spectacular and breathtaking wedding venue I’ve ever seen, and I was so proud to show it off to my guests. From the beginning, Angela and the staff have been nothing but exceptional. Communication was never an issue; it was easy to schedule a tour and book – and in planning meetings Angela brought up important questions I would have easily missed on my own! They also provide so much useful information, from hotels in the area to recommended vendors (of which many we booked)! On the day itself, the staff worked so cohesively I rarely had to answer questions about what I needed or wanted throughout the day – they communicated with the other vendors and my point person seamlessly, directed my guests throughout the night, and helped make the ceremony & private vows go off without a hitch. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the bartenders as well, they were truly amazing and seemed to have fun with everyone there!
I can’t say enough about the accommodations and the venue itself. Every building, every corner of this property is breathtaking. The ceremony site is still being talked about amongst my guests! The tall grasses and old stained-glass windows helped it feel straight out of a movie. We loved the bridal cottages and the farmhouse, too! It was so nice to have everyone together in one spot to get ready, and a place for our families to go at the end of the celebrations. Everything is so thoughtfully designed, from the bathrooms to the multiple photo ops they’ve created – it’s a dream. Booking The Hidden Meadow and Barn was one of the easiest decisions we made, and through the process remained one of the best! I’d recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.

We first discovered Hidden Meadow and Barn in the middle of winter while we were touring several other rustic / barn venues for our wedding. Angela was very friendly and was happy to take us on a tour of the property. She showed us a video taken of a fall wedding that was so well done - it showcased the beauty of the ceremony site and reception area, and we fell in love with the venue and knew it was where we wanted to get married instantly!
Despite having to reschedule our date twice due to COVID, we finally got married this year and Hidden Meadow was happy to re-arrange plans, help us with any questions on catering, decor and setup, and was always responsive to emails and calls.
This is a beautiful and truly magical venue tucked away in rural Wisconsin, and has a very down to earth vibe to it that we did not find in many of the more "newly remodeled" barn venues. Highly recommend if you are looking for a uniquely beautiful and outdoor-focused wedding or event venue. The bridal / grooms' cottages are really well put together and the ceremony site in the fall with the pampas grasses and red maple trees is just jaw dropping. Thank you for helping us celebrate our special day! -

Angela and her team at hidden meadow are absolutely wonderful. My husband and I did not use a wedding planner or coordinator or a DJ, instead just kind of went with the flow. In other venues I've heard horror stories of no planners or DJs being issues, but it was the exact opposite at hidden meadow.
Angela and her team were so extremely helpful, insightful, and just a pure pleasure to work with. They were all extremely attentive and caring. It is very obvious that not only do they want US to have a good time, but they also all had a good time too.
Not only is the venue completely and totally breathtaking by itself, but the kind and caring team on site made everything even better. Working with hidden meadow was a complete breeze and we wouldn't change anything from our experience with them ♥️ -

This venue was literally a dream! So beautiful that you really didn’t need a lot of decorations. From the beautiful wood tables, chandeliers, fireplace, and fun light accent wall, it was truly breathtaking. I had several people come up to me telling me this was by far the prettiest wedding venue they have been to. In regards to the people behind the venue, Angela (the owner) was so kind and accommodating. She met with me on multiple occasions to make sure my wedding day went smoothly. There were also amazing workers on site the day of who helped in so many ways. They even lit all the candles in the reception space during the ceremony and set up the dessert table and late night snack table. Can not say enough great things about this venue! -

Everything We Could Have Wanted
Hidden Meadow was truly a hidden gem. I found out about Hidden Meadow from a friend, who actually happened to have their wedding the weekend before ours. The location was perfect - as many of our family and friends were traveling from larger WI, Twin Cities, or Nebraska. It was a nice middle ground for most. The venue offered all of the amenities we were looking for. Angela was incredibly helpful and flexible to ensure our wedding was truly captive of our needs as a queer couple - and ensuring our wedding party and guest felt welcomed and comfortable.
Almost every aspect of the wedding was our own creation. We grew our own flowers, created our own center pieces and signage, ever detail was intentional. The BWCA is a significant place in our lives, as we got engaged there. Therefore, having our canoe be apart of the wedding decor was essential. Angela suggested that we hang it above the wedding party table. It turned out to be the cherry on top. We draped homegrown hops and vines - macramé candle holders and lanterns from inside. Our guests cant believe how beautfiul the venue and our decor was. Having an outdoor fall wedding was our priority - if that's yours, a little get away to Pepin, WI is the right decision.
We also rented an AirBnB in town, where we hosted our rehearsal dinner, and our entire wedding party stayed. Having a community based wedding was our priority.
Hands down - the view, the amenities, the staff was an absolute steal of a deal. -

A fairytale wedding venue
Having our wedding day at Hidden Meadow and Barn was a DREAM. So many of our guests told us that this venue was a "fairytale" and the most gorgeous venue they've been to. We had an outstanding experience with Angela Kissell and Hidden Meadow ever since the day we booked. Angela is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with. She answered all of my wedding planning questions so quickly, making the planning process easy and stress-free. The venue includes so many things which means less for the bride to worry about! One of my favorite things about Hidden Meadow is that all of my bridesmaids and I were able to stay at the GORGEOUS Farmhouse on the venue site- so we got to wake up on my wedding day at the venue. Our groomsmen and family members were able to stay right around the corner at the Pepin Valley Cabins. There was truly nothing more convenient and fun than having our entire wedding party and family stay at our venue! It felt like a mini-destination wedding in the most beautiful Wisconsin location! Thanks to Hidden Meadow, and Angela, we had the most magical, fun, stress-free wedding day ever! -

Amazing Venue!
Beautiful venue! We couldn’t have picked a better wedding venue. We lucked out and had the most amazing weather for an August wedding. We stayed at the farmhouse Thursday and Friday night and it was perfect! I received so many compliments from all of our guests about Hidden Meadow! Angela was amazing to work with and made the entire process a breeze. -

We got married on 7/11/21 at The Hidden Meadow and Barn. When my husband and I toured the venue the previous fall, we knew instantly upon arriving this would be where we get married! The beauty of the venue is incredible, honestly I felt like I didn't need many decorations because the venue was so naturally gorgeous! Then when we met Angela, we felt so comfortable and taken care of from her! She truly helped me create my dream wedding! She was so helpful in answering my questions at each step of the way. Another perk is their open house that they host during the summer, we got to take our family to our venue a month before we got married so they could see it in person and get excited!
Highlights:
Surrounded by green meadows, serene beauty!
The ceremony space is a lush, heavenly experience. I loved saying my vows to my husband surrounded by beautiful trees.
The reception space is very classy and romantic. I didn't feel the need to buy a ton of decorations as the venue is so gorgeous.
Angela- she is so helpful, kind, and accommodating throughout the planning process!
I'd absolutely recommend this venue! Thank you Angela! -

The perfect outdoor venue!!
The Hidden Meadow and Barn is the perfect outdoor venue! I found this venue during a google for outdoor venues close to the twin cities. It was the first venue and I saw and was excited about so we booked the tour. Come to tour day and on the drive in my husband and I couldn’t stop remarking how beautiful of a drive it was. Then we pulled up and stepped out of our car. The first words out of my mouth were “yep this is it!”.
Angela has created an amazing venue that just blew us away. Every inch of it is picture perfect! Her and her staff were so easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Coming from a girl who should have done more research in wedding planning, Angela was there for every question I had. Then on wedding day her staff made the whole process seamless and easy! I honestly can’t sing their praises loud enough!! MANY people at our wedding kept asking how we found such a beautiful wedding venue. It was the most perfect day! The Meadow seated all of our guests without squishing them, and the reception barn came prepared for any weather with plastic siding incase of rain and heaters incase it was cold. Luckily our day turned out 87 and sunny. The venue also was very upfront about costs and what was included and Zach and I appreciated that very much. Our guests had a blast and my husband and I had a blast. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks!!

I could not be more in love with Hidden Meadow & Barn!!! The whole property is beautiful with small touches throughout that contribute to the overall charm— from the details on the fireplace to the fun quotes and sayings in the bathroom to the unique chandelier in the open sided barn. My absolute favorite though was the ceremony meadow. You cannot beat the willow trees behind the altar and the pampas that enclose the area while still being so open to the surrounding beauty— the amazing barn doors are just the cherry on top.
I could not speak highly enough of Angela the venue owner and coordinator. She was helpful at every turn and always returned emails promptly. We had considered hiring a day of coordinator, but found it to be unnecessary with the support from their day of staff. Additional bonus was the easels and tables available for use for our welcome sign, seating chart, guest book, gift table, etc.
Being from Oregon and Florida, many of our guests had never been to WI before and were blown away by how breathtaking the venue and surrounding area were.

We also had Angela take pictures for our wedding and I love every single one of them. They turned out spectacular— I am so glad she was available to capture our day. -

Perfection
We couldn’t have picked a better wedding venue. It was perfect, we lucked out with beautiful weather and the views are to die for. The fact that they have staff at the venue on your wedding day to help with anything takes a huge relief off, they are so helpful and make sure everything is taken care of. They have so many other accommodations at the venue as well, the farmhouse is great for rehearsal and for the girls to stay at the night before and the cottages are so fun to get ready in. Angela was awesome with staying in contact with us and answering any questions we had and making sure everything was good to go and taken care of as well. -

Only 1.5 hours from the twin cities and absolutely worth it. The drive to the venue is beautiful, and the venue itself is breathtaking. The ceremony site is surrounded with pampas grass and 12 ft stained glass windows located in a meadow with rolling hills. The reception, ceremony, bridal cottage, grooms suite… everything is on-site with no hidden fees! Angela, the venue owner, is very nice and good at communicating. -

Beautiful place, beautiful Service!
The venue was so beautifully built and arranged, there was nothing to point out. The owner Angela, thought of everything from the cottages to the meadow where the ceremony was to the heaters placed under the pavillion. So many of the guests commented how aesthetically pleasing it was. The staff was wondering to work with and they helped make our wedding a dream come true!! -

Absolutely, hands down the most amazing venue in MN/WI area. Our day was everything we wanted and more and Angela and her husband were so accommodating! We would do it all over in the same place if we could!! We had so many of our guests complementing the venue and I would recommend to anyone looking for an outdoor venue! -

We had a wonderful experience at The Hidden Meadow and Barn for our wedding. The property is absolutely beautiful — the willow trees created the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony, and the pavilion went beyond out expectations for the reception. The weather was gorgeous, which made the day feel even more magical. The team was quite flexible and accommodating, especially when it came to our specific table layout, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely setting for our special day and we’re so happy we chose The Hidden Meadow and Barn. The day would not have been the same without them. -

We stumbled across Hidden Meadow when we were searching online for a venue and immediately knew it was our DREAM venue. After meeting the owner, Angela, and seeing the venue in person, we were sold. The ceremony space in particular is such a selling point, but the entire property is so well thought out. It's obviously the owners have put in tons of energy, love, and time creating this amazing space. We ended up doing a Friday wedding in order to make the venue more affordable for us and we found that doing a Friday wedding allowed for a bit more leverage when negotiating with other vendors who might not normally be booked for a Friday. Communication with Angela throughout the process was always timely, friendly, and easy. Day of coordinating staff were very helpful and kept things running smoothly. We went pretty minimal on decorations and let the landscaping and backdrop of the venue speak for itself and we received so many compliments from guests. We can't imagine having gone anywhere else to get married. It truly was the best day ever and that is in large part thanks to Angela and the team at Hidden Meadows! We're forever grateful! -
Emily Sent on 11/04/2017This setting is unbelievable, our photographers have worked hundreds of weddings and they said it's one of the most absolutely gorgeous places they've seen. So much is included with this venue and best of all they have someone there the day of to make sure things go smoothly. Jennifer was our coordinator and she did a stand out job. She was on top of things and she came to me early with things that might need a decision later on so I would have time to think about it instead of asking a question and needing an answer immediately. When you're stressed and trying to make sure your wedding goes as planned this is an important thing to have in a coordinator. One thing that was difficult was that they require everything and everyone to be out of the getting ready rooms once the ceremony starts. Which means there is stressful packing up and checking that everything is out right before you go do the ceremony. We ended up having someone bring all of our bags to cars so we wouldn't be seen and then at the end of the night didn't know where all those things were. My other advice is make sure you know and love your plan for rain. We booked this place because of the amazing outdoor setting and then the forecast said it would rain all day. It ended up drizzling in the morning and then we had a downpour at about 9:30pm so we were very lucky to get our wedding and pictures all done outside. I had a plan in mind for rain that we would move where the tables and the dance floor would be so we could have the ceremony with us walking up the aisle to the fireplace but in the last week I learned that the tables would have to stay where they were so people would have to sit at their table seats during the ceremony. I was unhappy with that plan but didn't have a way to fix it at the last minute. thankfully we didn't have to do the backup plan and we had a beautiful outdoor wedding. Overall I was incredibly happy with this venue and I would definitely recommend it. I give it a solid A.
