    Block of Rooms

    I was able to book 30 rooms with ease with only one phone call and an email containing a contract which was fabulously priced for all of our guests. Can't wait for our big night!

    Great experience overall

    Overall we had an excellent experience. The organization and communication was excellent and we loved the look of the venue. The value was also by far the best compared to some regional competition that we investigated. The staff was all incredible from Amy who dealt with all the major vendors right down to the staff during our wedding who were nice enough to set aside a table for us to eat at to make sure we didn't miss out on our own dinner. Even in the face of some delays, the day itself went about as well as we could have hoped for and I highly recommend the Hanover Marriott.

    If I had to nitpick, one issue was the laying of the dance floor during the wedding ceremony. It was communicated to us that only a portion would be put out so that we could walk along the aisle but they ended up laying out the entire dance floor. It didn't completely ruin the aesthetic but it made an already difficult to see wedding even harder because guests were so far from the center aisle. The venue was also kind enough to hold our cake topper and miscellaneous items for over 6 months because of scheduling issues.

    The Hanover Marriott was an excellent hotel for our guest for our wedding. Christine made the whole process very smooth and easy. They provided us with direction cards and room block info. The hotel also ended up being the perfect backdrop for most of wedding photos. Christine also worked with us with their shuttle service to make sure all of our guests were able to make it up to our venue. After the wedding, we were able to go back to the pub to visit with our guests a little bit longer. The food was excellent at both restaurants, and it was perfect that our guests could have breakfast in the morning before leaving. We were very happy with our overall all experience.

    We chose this hotel because they had a good relationship with our wedding venue. It was also the only hotel in the area that included shuttle transportation to/from our reception at no additional charge, no matter how many shuttles we needed! The sales manager Christine was one of my favorite people to work with throughout the planning process. She was very responsive, always courteous, and highly reliable. As our wedding date neared, she consistently updated me with the room block listing and made sure to confirm all details the week before. The rooms were clean & comfortable and the transportation was reliable. As newlyweds, we were given a king suite on the top floor for free! Christine also sent champagne & chocolate covered strawberries to our room with a voucher for a free stay on our anniversary! The bar was also convenient for our guests to hang out after the reception. I had such a great experience working with the Hanover Marriott and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area or looking for a room block.

    We used the Hanover Marriott for our hotel block, and I honestly think they are the most organized, and professional hotel I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The hotel lobby is beautiful ( we had to use it for our pictures because it rained), and the rooms are great. The staff (shout out to Christine) is so wonderful to work with and extremely responsive. We had to add rooms to our block three times and they could not have been more accommodating. After a certain number of rooms in the block are booked, they also take care of the transporting of guests to and from your venue. This could not have been more helpful or gone more smoothly. It is not the little hotel shuttle; they got us a full sized bus for our guests. The busses were there on time and also arrived to take guests home on time. I cannot count how many times I have had to wait around at the wedding for the little shuttles to make a million trips or to just show up. The process was seamless.

    My parents hosted a brunch there the next day, and the staff at the Marriott also made this a very pleasant and easy experience. The number of guests we had was so large they moved us into a private room, but still provided everything the regular brunch buffet had - including an omlette station.

    If your venue is anywhere near this hotel, I would recommend you use this one for the hotel block, hands down!

    Christine and the whole Hanover Marriott team, were exceptional. I chose the Hanover Marriott for my hotel block for my wedding this June. Out of all the vendors and partners I worked with for the wedding, they were by far the best. Their responsiveness, flexibility, professionalism and kindness were greatly appreciated. Christine was always helpful and accommodating - especially with our gift bags and creating custom drink tickets for our after party and custom breakfast vouchers for our next day brunch. They really went above and beyond and that means so much. They had enough shuttles to bus around all 90 of my guests who stayed in the hotel! And the personal note with the chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in the room the night of the wedding was also a sweet touch. Would 100000% recommend them for a hotel block! Best vendor I worked with, truly!

    The Hanover Marriott was where we had our room block and we honestly could not have selected a better hotel. As long as we had 12 rooms they indicated they would provide a shuttle service. The shuttles provided were amazing they were actually limo party buses and my guests could not stop talking about how much fun the ride to and from the venue was. Additionally, the Irish Pub that they have in the hotel was great to have at the hotel with your wedding room block! After the wedding our guests were able to continue the party until 2AM. The rooms were clean and the communication and responsiveness of the hotel was great. We were very pleased with this location and would recommend it for a wedding room block!

    Matt Nolan and Bobby Ventura were fantastic at the Hanover Marriott. Matt was very helpful in guiding us through our wedding plans and making sure everything was in place for the weekend of our wedding. We had a lot of out of town guests and was able to provide accommodations for them. Matt walked us through the wedding venue and made all the arrangements we needed. Even though we were a small wedding, we were able to be mainly sectioned off for our wedding. The food selection was great, the chef was flexible and came up with a couple of other options for us to choose from. Matt also guided us through the selection that had a menu that everyone enjoyed and left very full. The weekend of the wedding Bobby made sure everything continued to be successful. The hotel was very flexible, we were giving out goodie bags to the guests, breakfast the next day in a private room, and most important the candy buffet favor table. All the guests had a blast and most were able to not have to worry about driving. Matt and Bobby met with me numerous times before the wedding, made sure everything was in place for the weekend and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure everything was where it needed to be and not to worry the bride and groom. They did a fantastic job.

    Cheryl was extremely helpful as we planned our wedding! She took great care in planning our hotel group block, transportation to/from wedding, and brunch at the Marriott...which made for a very relaxing wedding weekend for us!

    The Marriott was amazing. The staff were some of the most friendly people I have ever met!
    The food was great; the sales team worked around our budget; the event coordinators are complete pros and know exactly what to do, where to be, and what to say. They are always available and always asking what they can do to help.
    The Marriott isn't located in the prettiest area- (Route 10!) But the inside is very nice and the attentiveness of the staff to every single detail makes it even better.
    It was awesome having the reception in a hotel so guests could just go up to their rooms afterwards- And I thought the rooms were very nice, as well as the pool. (Also, for having your wedding there you get the presidential suite for free for your wedding night and 2 free suites for the parents of the couple.)
    Plus, they have a really cool Irish Pub with live music on the weekends that all our guests went to for the "after party."
    I honestly cannot say enough good things about the location, staff, chefs, everything!

    We had our wedding in May 2018 at the Hanover Marriott and it was one of the easiest decision after looking at so many venues for so many reasons! Beautiful convenient hotel venue with newly renovated ballroom. The Hanover team is exceptional, experienced and flexible with large size full-day weddings. We highly recommend this venue and team for your future wedding or special events!

    We used the Hanover Marriott for our January 2018 wedding, as it was recommended by our venue. We worked with Christine for our hotel block and day-after brunch, and she was so accommodating and friendly throughout the entire process no matter the question or concern. She handled our block so professionally and graciously set up shuttle service for our guests once we hit the required rooms booked. She also facilitated our brunch, which was so lovely. My guests were a bit disappointed that all of the shuttles left at one time and didn't make a second run on the way to the reception, though, as they missed the shuttles by 5 minutes and had to Uber. My husband and I got a personal suite the night of our wedding and a voucher to use next year to celebrate our anniversary. The suite was wonderful, and everyone loved their rooms and the personal room at the hotel restaurant for our brunch. One downside to the experience was probably the fact that people could book a room not in our block for cheaper than through the block, and we didn't really need vouchers included in the room cost because my parents were hosting brunch the next morning. Aside from that, we were very happy with everything. The hotel was wonderful, as was the food at the brunch. I'd definitely recommend using the Hanover Marriott for a wedding block. Christine really was so wonderful to work with from beginning to end, including being super prompt when replying to emails. Thank you for a great experience!

    After our reception, my fiance and I will be staying at the Hanover Marriott for our wedding night. Their reservation staff has been extremely responsive in providing us with rooms and the information we need to make an informed decision.

    The Marriot and their team were exceptional. The ballroom held all of our guests comfortably and the food was great. They suggested to use an outside caterer for our traditional food.

    I did not have my reception at the Marriott but hosted my guests in this hotel for my nearby wedding. I have to say that dealing with the Marriott was the worst part of my wedding planning experience. They made multiple mistakes with our wedding block, including everything from delaying my save-the-dates (because they could not seem to remember to send the hotel information cards to me after multiple requests) to telling guests the wrong time for our brunch. We were told that minor construction might be going on at the hotel during our wedding but it would not interfere. We showed up the day before the wedding and the entire lobby was under renovation and the hotel looked like a disaster. The rooms are decent and I did like the pub in the hotel. However, they stressed me out so much during the planning process that I could never recommend the hotel to anyone for a wedding.
