    Very pretty venue, but everything else was NOT worth it!

    I could go on for hours going into every detail of our day, but I will save that for yell and/or google.
    Long story short- the venue is beautiful, but a bit far from anywhere “in town” that your guests might stay. The bartender, officiant Doug, and DJ were all incredible as well!
    However-
    The food (my husband and myself were served first before our guests) was cold, and the tri tip was very tough- at least for my husband and I. Maybe a bad cut for us, maybe not, who knows. The pasta was very over cooked and mushy. Everything else food wise was just OK.
    Our wedding Coordinator, Hannah, completely ruined our memories of the day. She was constantly and rudely rushing us through getting ready, pictures after the ceremony, and to top it all off she decided to throw herself under my dress, without asking me, and decided to bustle my dress because she didn’t like that I was taking “so many photos”. Not only did this make me extremely uncomfortable, having a stranger under my dress, she also bustled my dress completely wrong and it is showing so in every picture of myself during the reception. I had planned on having my maid of honor bustle it because I showed her the video on how to do it correctly. With how busy the night was, nobody had time to come help correct the bustle.
    The cake was the wrong flavor for our top tier and had the incorrect frosting and filling throughout the entire cake. The cake also was very stale tasting. Dry, and left an aftertaste. It was supposed to have cream cheese icing and filling but buttercream was used- and it tasted exactly like butter. Barely sweet, very oily, my husband and I had two bites of our top tier and threw the cake away.
    This is just a glimpse of some of the issues we experienced on our wedding night, and after speaking to the venue manager about it- I can confidently say that they only care about the money coming in and not for the guests actual experience. We were offered a new cake tier for my husband and I, and a one hour free photoshoot on the property (that I would have to drive an hour each way for, and hire my own photographer again).
    Be very careful if you choose this venue for your wedding!

    So amazing!

    The Grove made everything so easy for me. All I had to do was show up and bring the decors and give them pictures of how I wanted things to be. It was raining on my wedding day and Karli made sure I had the last say on everything and whatever I wanted happens. Francisco our DJ also made us feel so comfortable and let us know that whatever we want is what’s going to happen. He definitely kept the party going and flowing in the right direction. All my vendors worked together to ensure our big day will be memorable regardless of the weather. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Perfect venue for an intimate wedding. Loved every single minute of it.

    I would never recommend this venue

    Where to even begin. It started when my brother & sister IL recommended this place as a venue because one of the owners bought their old house. We show up for a tour and the venue is actually very lovely. It’s secluded and lots of greenery in the vegas desert. There were white chairs and white drapery for the outside ceremony. The inside is ok. Outdated even tho they just remodeled. The elopement area is VERY nice!
    During our tour I asked specifically if they offered vegan options on the menus as I THE BRIDE eats vegan as do some of our guests. I was told yes but git would be an extra fee per person. No problem. Except I made a mistake not asking what the vegan options were. But here’s where the venue messes up. We show up for a food tasting only to realize I can’t eat ANYTHING because it’s all poultry and meat. I am then told that I will NOT be able to try anything before my wedding day. I just eat what they serve because all vegans eat the same apparently.
    Oh and another red flag from the beginning. After the tour we sat down to choose date options. We decided on a date and was told I could get married around 3. The NEXT day when we officially went to book I was told someone had already booked a wedding in front of us and now we had to get married at 5.30.

    Next. They originally had beautiful white chairs. I was emailed saying they got rid of those and bought dark brown oak chairs. While they’re brand new I specifically wanted white and wasn’t given the option to keep white or was given a heads notice that they would be changed when we did the tour.

    Incase you don’t know, the venue is all inclusive so you get what you pay for. The cake people they are combined with are garbage. They reached out to a wrong email so I was never emailed until I reached out to the venue and solved the problem myself. The cake people then tell me they only have 1 tasting a year and I missed it so again I don’t get to try anything for my wedding just show up and hope I like it. I canceled with them and got my own wedding cake done.

    We did in fact have to buy an outside food venue for me to eat and some of my guests but luckily was given a $6 per plate discount 😒🙄

    The DJ was sooo nice but omg really bad. No one danced at my wedding and my personal coordinator even made comment to the venue.

    I have to say that this wedding venue might bust out weddings every single day but this is a bride and grooms ONE day. This venue doesn’t care about your big day. They’re making money. I get it.

    Grove: I don’t need you to respond as my wedding is done and there’s really nothing you can say to make it better. Our day is gone. But people should know the truth and they need to see reviews like this before making a decision based off what YOUR venue says

    The only reason I selected 2 stars is because our given coordinator was nice but we hired an outside coordinator (highly recommended)

    Amazing Day

    We had our wedding in October at The Grove and it was perfect! We had a horrible time with an outside wedding planner, and our coordinator at the venue, Hannah, helped us work around it for a wonderful day that we will never forget! She was so incredibly sweet and helpful. There was a snafu with a communication issue, but Hannah found a way to get everything fixed. Our families loved Hannah's personality while we did our rehearsal and she made everyone laugh throughout. We got married in the almond orchard and it was gorgeous! You don't need much to decorate the space. We had a floral arch piece from Wild Meadows Floral who works at the venue and had an arch draping and that was it. Everything else that comes with the space looked great. Food was amazing, management was so helpful, and so many people commented on how gorgeous the venue was! The price was also so great for everything that was included. For our reception space we decided to not have coverings on the chairs, went with the head table, and blush was our main color back lighting for the night. I cannot say enough kind words about The Grove's staff, preferred vendors, services, venue, and food!

    Exceptional Service

    I don’t even know where to start. But literally from the beginning they were amazing. From helping me select signs from there many available. To the colors the food the adult beverages. The staff was so amazingly helpful. The DJ omg can’t thank her enough for all the help that day to keep it all going on time. My coordinator wow could not have got through it without her.

    After 28years were finally getting married

    This day is was supposed to be amazing day for the bride and groom and the family. This place is extremely nice when trying to earn your business, upon switching to this venue from another venue I settled with The Grove I thought the venue was extremely beautiful I called on a Sunday morning and was told that they might have September 26 available for 3pm wedding after confirming that they had availability I immediately booked. I was advised that my wedding would be the last wedding for the day and we would have free Reign to grounds I was never advised that we had a picture time limit I was advised that I had the venue from 3pm until 830pm with access to take my photos anywhere on the property fast forward to my big day I don't know if anyone wedding has gone of without any hick ups my groom and groomsman were running late after they arrived the wedding began and the service went of without delay and it was absolutely beautiful. Fast forward to the our photo our the photos where rushed and I was told that I only had until 430 to take our pictures and then we would be confined to the garden terrace room and that's where we would have to take all photos and that we would not have access to the grounds for any future pictures because they booked a last minute event. This is my wedding day and I was not extended a Olive branch to share the grounds with the other event that was on the property I booked this space first and was told that I was the last wedding for this day . The Wedding coordinator was extremely timed unable to provide us with any assistance the manger never came to speak with. Me about this issue and inconvenience that I experienced with them. Very unprofessional staff and management staff I actually waited to post my review I called them this morning and still haven't heard back from them . If I could give them a zero I would so I'm giving them a one because this is the least I can give. This place is not good for professionalism it's actually a very beautiful location but I wouldn't recommend them for anything. I'm in the hospitality industry so I expect a level of expertise and this place lacks it on every level. Brides and Groom's please be ware . The food was good the Floral staff never came out I had to request for my cake to be brought out to be on display things that I shouldn't have had to do. The only good thing is my fiance and I are now husband and wife. Everyone thought everything was beautiful. I've done everything sight unseen because I live on the east coast so my only recommendation is to get everything in writing. The absolute worst staff in las vegas please don't allow these people to take your money and ruin your special day

    Beautiful venue, poor client service

    The venue is beautiful and the value is decent.

    But service from the venue coordinator was terrible.

    My husband and I were told multiple times that we could not access the venue until 5:30pm on our wedding day, per the contract, which we respected. I would assume this would also mean that all previous events would be cleared from the space by the time our event started. One of the top selling points to The Grove is that events are staggered and only one event will take place at the venue at a time without overlap. Unfortunately, this was not the case for our wedding as I could clearly see the bride and groom from the previous event from the parking lot when I arrived after our start time on our wedding day. They were still taking pictures and we couldn't start our photos until they left. It might seem like a small thing but it threw off our whole schedule, which like most weddings was already tight.

    The coordinator we were assigned was just plain rude. We got different answers to basic questions from the first tour we took to the day before the wedding. Multiple times the coordinator expressed that by accommodating our requests, she was somehow doing us a "favor." I find it hard to believe that we are the first couple ever to have last minute table changes, or who would need extra time finalizing our guest count with less than 30 days out - especially during the pandemic.

    I completely understand how coordinating a wedding can be a high stress profession, but our requests were not unreasonable. The coordinator was not doing us any favors, we hired The Grove as a vendor and there is a reasonable expectation that the event would be customizable to our liking, as we were told when we booked. We appreciate that most of our requests were eventually honored, but it was unnecessary for the coordinator to declare she were doing us a favor every time we had a request.

    Overall our wedding was beautiful and once we could get started, our event went off without incident. But the planning process was painful.

    Look no further! Choose The Grove!

    After searching for a year and a half in my own city (San Diego) for a wedding venue, my mom had suggested that I should try Vegas. When she mentioned that, I immediately thought “typical Vegas wedding” on the strip, in a little chapel.. mmm, no thanks. But upon further research, I came across the Grove, and I’m so incredibly glad I found this hidden gem! This venue is the complete opposite of your typical Vegas strip wedding! They have an almond orchard! Yes, an almond orchard! A couple days prior to our wedding, the trees were in full bloom with pretty white flowers! I was elated!! The Grove, their entire staff, the venue itself.. AMAZING!! MY husband and I were orginally supposed to get married here April 2020, but unfortunately a month prior, COVID hit and we had to postpone our wedding to Feb 2021. Planning a wedding is already stressful enough, that planning it during a pandemic was on another level! Our guest count went from 62 down to 32, (due to people not feeling comfortable to travel at that time, which was completely understandable). The Grove had spaced out the tables by household so that families were socially distanced. Even my sister who is a nurse that was feeling uneasy about traveling and being in a room with other people felt more than comfortable with the way everything was set up. They even had hand sanitizer everywhere! Throughout the entire process everyone at the Grove ENSURED us that we would have our dream wedding, and in all honestly, they went above and beyond in more ways than 1! They exceeded our expectations 10-fold!! They were VERY ACCOMODATING, I mean VERY!!!! They worked tirelessly to make sure such an important day for us went smoothly. Jacquelyn our coordinator was always quick to respond to my emails with any questions or concerns that we had. She was such a delight to work with and I know I couldn’t have done it without her! She handled all of the revisions on her end, which helped me out so much so that it allowed me to focus on things that I needed to take care of on my end. Doug, our minister was wonderful! Luke with lighting and I believe Prestige DJ was INCREDIBLE! The cake that we had chose with Ariel was beautiful and delicious, not to mention I’m glad I decided to do the overlay at the arch! Since this in an all-inclusive venue, it made planning a wedding (from out of town) much more easier. Their entire staff communicated so well with us! Our guests were absolutely blown away with the venue, the Grand Garden Room, the food, open bar?! Uh.. yes please! How could you not choose this place for your wedding?!!!! Because of how beautiful and magical everything was, at the reception, and even afterwards, family members from San Diego were already making plans to have their events at the Grove! Lol! The entire wedding from the ceremony to the reception was small and intimate, but filled with SO MUCH love, laughter and joy we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Real talk, had we not been forced to postpone our wedding due to Covid, we truly believe that our wedding wouldn’t have turned out as wonderful as it did if we had it back in April 2020.. period. Again, we cannot express how grateful we are to the entire staff at the this amazing venue, and I will continue to refer this place to anyone asking for venue suggestions!! Thank you thank you!

    A-m-a-z-i-n-g!

    I fell in love with The Grove's Almond Orchard almost instantly. As a bride on a budget, I was looking for something beautiful that needed minimum décor and The Grove delivered in spades. Their all-inclusive packages are a only a little more expensive than what you find in a Vegas chapel, but trust me, it's SO WORTH IT. Our ceremony was about 30 minutes long and we got to say our own vows and do a unity candle ceremony too (we opted for this instead of a quickie 10 min Vegas chapel ceremony) For a little over $4,000, you get an officiant, appetizer and entrée, a two-tiered cake, an open bar, a dj and a beautiful space with centerpieces and linens for an event for 50 people. Our wedding weekend was M-A-G-I-C-A-L. The staff was amazing and super responsive. All our guests gushed about the food and the cake. You are required to wear masks when not in your table (six people per table for social distancing) plus they throw in hand sanitizing station too. Honestly it couldn't had gone any better. We got to have our fairy tale wedding during the covid-19 pandemic in 2020... we will be forever grateful to the people at The Grove, and I will never ever shut up about how gorgeous the space is. Look no more, you've found a venue!!

    Proceed with caution!

    Let me start off by saying, I was SO excited at the opportunity to have my wedding here. The venue was the best I'd seen (for what i was looking for) in Las Vegas and the staff was great at communicating with me, on all my questions before making my final decision to actually book with them.

    My wedding was scheduled for 3.28.21 in their grand room for 75+ people and my deposit was $1,500. Full disclaimer, I completely understood the deposit was non-refundable at the time of signing and paying and was ok with that!

    Fast forward, our world is hit with a global pandemic that's taken thousands of lives and put a record millions out of work - including my fiancé and I with a brand new baby. While I tried to stay optimistic about everything. Truth was, my family and friends were cancelling on me quicker than i could blink, as everyone was fearful of traveling due to sickness, old age, or just fear in general. This brought my list down to not even 20 people, from 75 plus!! No longer able to meet my guest count, or afford a $10k wedding anymore i called the Grove at the end of June to cancel.

    They seemed very understanding when telling them my reasons to needing to cancel. Although every vendor I worked with (all very small, less than 10 people businesses), i wasn't expecting a refund per the contract. To my surprise they offered to refund me, BUT only if someone booked my same date and size party. Then they'd refund me my $1,500 (less $100) AFTER the event date of 3.28.21. However, during this time Las Vegas Governor put a restriction of no more than 50 people at an event, until further notice. So how are you trying to rebook my date/ event for 75 plus people? Seems completely fair right (sarcasm)? I reach out via email for an update and am literally told i need to reach back out AFTER the date of 3.28.21. Pretty much then telling me I'm bothering them! I refuse and tell them I'd appreciate staying up to date with what's going on with my refund and not wait I'm limbo.

    So after months of still not hearing anything, I reach out again and am told they still have not found anyone to book my date/package, that they're now going to open it up for a smaller package that's SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than mine and if someone books that one my refund would be much much less than what i paid. Our Governor didn't
    lift the mandate of no public gatherings of more than 50 people, until September 29th, which would have actually ONLY allowed 37 days (as of today) for someone to re-book my package. Again... seems fair right? I told them they were better off telling me i couldn't have a refund, then giving me all the back and forth and literally making it IMPOSSIBLE to get anything back.

    I asked to speak with management on 11.5.2020 and as of today 11.13.2020, i still have not heard from anyone. When i email the coordinators again, they tell me their Management doesn't work in the office, which apparently is a good enough reason for not calling a customer back in a timely fashion?

    I'd highly suggest anyone looking into this venue PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!

    Excellent Venue

    This venue is amazing. Ariel was our coordinator and she couldn't of been more helpful. We loved everything from the grounds to the cake to the DJ. I highly recommend this place!

    Venue great staff sucks

    They have a wedding coordinator Nancy who is just plain mean and rude. She needs to find a new job not in customer service. The venue is gorgeous and the rest of the service at the venue is good. Just steer clear of Nancy. And don’t expect a call back from any management

    The grove such liars

    Well we were all booked for our wedding which I believe we booked in August I was all excited! and then I found out I was pregnant so as soon as I knew I let them know and Canceled. Which I believe was October. They had emailed me back and said if the date got filled that they would take 100 dollars of our deposit and get the 400 back. Well we had called in Jan and asked if our date was booked and they said yes but the wedding would have to take place in order to get our refund. Well covid happened so even if we didn’t cancel we wouldn’t of been able to have our wedding or the other couple because of the pandemic. So when we called about our refund they told us that no one was scheduled for that date which was a lie. I also had my gf request that date in December bc she just got engaged and they had told her it was taken as well so I have proof of all of this. Hard times with not working that money would have been helpful but instead they were nasty and went against their word. Didn’t refund us and said it was nice of them to even offer the deposit back. Well you shouldn’t tell someone you will give them a deposit and then lie about it. I was very disappointed since I talked all good about the facility on Facebook groups etc.

    Terrible customer service during pandemic!

    TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Our wedding was schedule for June 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic changes had too be made. At this time it is unknown when venues or entertainment will be reopening and per contract deposit are non-refundable.

    We began to reach out to them as soon as we realized the shut down was going to effect our wedding. We attempted to reach out to them by phone but no answer. We attempted to reach out to them by e-mail and all we got was automated e-mails. They claimed that they attempted to reach out to us ONCE but because we didn’t respond they assumed we were weighing our options and pursed no further action or attempt to reach out to us; however, I have NO evidence that they attempted to reach out to us and I never received that e-mail they claimed to have sent us.

    Not only was I told that my statement of “no attempt to reach out to us” was false, they are pocketing 100% of the deposit and expect us to be understanding.

    If I could leave NO STARS I would for their LACK of CUSTOMER SERVICE during difficult times.

    Abysmal company values

    I do not recommend doing business with The Grove at Silk Purse Ranch.

    We booked our wedding for this June 27th over a year ago, We have already paid out full amount. We emailed back in March to see what our options were for cancelling with the COVID-19 pandemic going on. This was more than 90 days prior to the wedding. They responded and said they were taking care of customers with closer wedding dates.

    Now when we have been contacting them, they are telling us we cannot cancel because we are within 90 days of our wedding. How can you make someone wait, and then tell them you can't help them because of the wait?!

    They are refusing to cancel and refund us, even when we agreed they could keep the $500 deposit. They are telling us that we HAVE to reschedule.

    1: we have no idea when it will be safe for everyone to travel, we are not Las Vegas locals, or one guest or member of the wedding party is local. We all have to fly in.

    2: After being treated this way, we are no longer interested in doing business with a company with such poor values.

    You would think that they would be more supportive to people that have had events planned for a long time and this is out of anyone's control. This is a national emergency, unforeseen, and they forced us to wait to speak with them.

    They think that rescheduling an out of town wedding for all attendees is no big deal, and they wanted us to reschedule before February of 2021 - the whole point was a summer wedding, while school is out. Nothing you do fits our needs - and the company values are pathetic.

    They are not even responding any more, it is likely we will have to take this matter to court to get our money back since they are non-responsive.

    Take your business somewhere else! If I could give less stars I would!

    Give them their refund!

    My son prepaid for his wedding on 3/28/20. With the corona virus out all hotels and casinos and flights are shut down. Yet they will NOT refund his money. How are you supposed to hold a wedding when we are in national crisis!?! These people are crooks and I am going to post this EVERYWHERE!!

    Phenomenal

    Our entire wedding day was perfect. Their communication with you is great to make sure your day is what you envision. They help seamlessly transition guests & you from activity to activity. I didn’t love dealing with their florist, she’s a bit gruff & doesn’t have great customer service. Couture Cakes was great to work with though.
    Overall, our wedding day was perfect & I’m so happy we picked this venue!

    amazing venue and service

    Erin was my coordinator and she was amazing from start to finish. the Dj was great and helpful for keeping the us on scheduel. everything was perfect. the guests loved the food cake and venue. this place was absolutely wonderful, highly reccomended. im glad i went with this venue.

    Affordable and secluded!!!

    Went with my fiancee to see the venue after a friend reccomended it to us. After how much it was and had alot it offered we were going to book it... only one thing missing was a view so we kept looking. We found our little paradise hidden in the desert just wasn't The Grove. So affordable but no view that was Breathtaking!!! Thank you for having us!!

    Wonderful visit!

    My partner and I visited with Ariel at The Grove. She was upbeat, fun, and so helpful during our tour. This venue offers so much in one space, with such awesome staff; definitely worth visiting!

    Beautiful Venue with Exceptional Service

    Everyone at the Grove was very helpful and willing to accomodate all that they could! The grounds are just beautiful and you get the most bang for your buck having your wedding here!! We loved everything from the food to the music and DJ and the lighting in the rooms was incredible!!! It's a must for a fun filled reception!
