  Best wedding band of all-time

  They were really good!

  Vic and the band were very good... He took charge which was really appreciated! The depth of music that the band played, and played well was vast! The dance floor was always full. Well done Grove Party!

  Best of the Best

  Oh man, where do I start. We hired Vic and the Groove Party in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, which we cancelled, and finally got to see them in action on 8/14/21 for our wedding renewal party! Vic is awesome. He’s a true professional and honestly just really fun to talk to. He’s been so easy with all the rescheduling. The band itself was AWESOME. I had so many guests tell us how good the band was and how they made the party. They even winged a song (“You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling”) that a guest asked them to do, and which they had never practiced together, yet somehow it was flawless and a huge crowd pleaser. They kept the dance floor filled the whole night. 10/10 would hire again!

  They not only Groove but Vic Tatum and friends care

  The Groove Party is a superb band but more than that they made our wedding special because Vic Tatum and his colleagues really cared about us! They got to know us and our families and they blended perfectly with the flow of our party. We and our closest friends danced to the wee hours and The Groove Party was happy to keep playing with gusto!

  NYE Wedding

  Vic and the gang played our wedding at Lovett Hall at the Henry Ford Museum. Simply said, Groove Party brought the house down. The played incredible starting with our ceremony and ending after midnight. They kept all of our guests dancing the entire time. I hope to see them at another wedding soon!

  Amazing band!

  This band was absolutely amazing! They were so easy to work with and provided us with exactly what we were looking for. We still get compliments on them to this day! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

  The Groove Party was amazing!! They did our cocktail hour music, dinner music and of course dancing music. We requested a song for the mother son dance that they did not know, but they learned it in a week and it was perfect! Highly talented and amazing!

  I booked The Groove Party for my wedding and couldn't have been more delighted with the decision. EVERYBODY danced the entire night. I never wanted to leave the dance floor. The band was able to get all the grandpas a little toddlers on their backs for "The Twist" and shirts were soaked through from dancing so hard.

They played piano and saxophone during cocktail hour which was a huge hit and then the entire band was on for the reception. During the reception, the band had such amazing energy and they got everyone out on the dance floor and it was packed from the beginning to the end! They played both the newer and older classic songs and everyone is still talking about how amazing the band was at our wedding! They are an incredible band and having them at our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made!

We found them on myspace and had not heard them play, but after talking with Vic, band member and manager, he made us feel very comfortable and we trusted him right away. The dance floor was packed all night at our wedding. Everyone had a blast! They played all different kind of music. The lead female singers got the guests involved and got them on their feet!

  A Groovin' Party

  Honestly one of the best wedding bands out there. All 250 of our guests had a blast from start to finish and the dance floor was still full well after midnight! We're still getting compliments on the band months after the wedding.

  Great band that seeks to please!!!!

  Vic and the Gang (I write that as a title rather than a description) were great! Rather accommodating. We were able to add a horn to play the Chicago song we wanted and stay within budget. HIGHLY recommended, as we definitely had a dance floor that was always full... full of happy folks, happy feet, and happy energy!!!!
