The Greenbriar Inn was such a beautiful place for our wedding venue. We loved that everything got to be in one place - a spot to take wedding party and family photos, options to choose from for the ceremony (we chose the falls), a spot for cocktail hour outdoors, and a spot for dinner and dancing. All right there in one location. We also had a room where I could put on my wedding dress and hold decor boxes/purses/coats throughout the night. The staff was incredible and are clearly professionals with hosting a wedding - so much so that we were quietly cued on how to stand during our cake cutting for the best photos. They've been doing this for years and it shows! They were accommodating with anything we requested leading up to the day and on the day itself. Not to mention - the food was delicious. We has so many guests tell us how much they loved the venue. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I absolutely loved Greenbriar! Amazing atmosphere, reasonable prices, gorgeous views, delicious food, and the staff was extremely friendly!! I would absolutely recommend Greenbriar to anyone getting married. We loved the convenience of having our ceremony and reception in the same location. Note: it’s worth it to pay for the cabin for the night! It was so amazing being able to just walk across the parking lot and not have to travel anywhere! 

TLDR: The Greenbriar is an absolutely incredible venue for a wedding, and I cannot recommend it enough. We had a small, intimate wedding and had the absolute best time of our lives. Several of our wedding guests told us that our wedding was the best they had ever been to, and I credit that to the Greenbriar's service.

Booking process: Booking and touring was very easy. The event coordinator at the time was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all of our questions.

Planning: Matt was awesome in assisting with coordinating our day - from timing to menu design. He even made suggestions for our late-night snack given our small party size, so that everything looked perfect. I had quite a few questions and requests during this time, and was always met with professionalism, despite a staffing change at the Greenbriar. It was so nice to have everything in-house: food, drinks, ceremony, reception, dessert, chairs, china and glassware. We only had to think about our external vendors (photobooth, photographer, decor).

Rehearsal: Matt was so helpful! He walked us through everything and gave us pointers to look the best for pictures. He checked how many songs we had for the ceremony, so he could queue us perfectly down the aisle. The Greenbriar has done a lot of weddings, and you can tell by their attention to detail.

Day-of: Matt and Valerie are absolute rockstars. The venue even had a female staff member assist me with my dress train when walking to the ceremony space. Matt coordinated the ceremony without a hitch. The space was absolutely gorgeous for pictures. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Valerie was AMAZING (like I want to invite her to my Christmas party for the rest of my life amazing). I felt so comforted by her presence. She took care of everything during the cocktail hour and reception. She grabbed us plates of appetizers while we took pictures, to make sure we got to eat our cocktail food too. She made sure we had the best, stress-free time, and paid attention to the little things, like making sure we took home our paper menu and keeping other restaurant guests out of our reserved space. People loved the food, but especially loved the seared elk loin, the late night parmesan truffle fries, and the tiramisu. I ended up accidentally leaving my veil, and Matt kept it safe until I was able to pick it up.

My new husband and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue. They were great at communicating with us in the planning period, and very flexible with last minute changes. On the day of, our DJ cancelled, and Matt, Crystal and the entire staff were incredible at making sure things could proceed smoothly. Our guests did not even notice the DJ was gone until a back up DJ could arrive. The venue was very affordable for everything that is provided including catering, cake, event planning help, the ceremony, and reception. The ceremony site and reception cite were so beautiful we did not need to bring too many extra decorations.

My husband and I got married at the Greenbriar Inn last month and we absolutely loved every part of it! The entire team, from the owners to the venue coordinator to the wait staff, were wonderful throughout the entire process. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly, and made us feel at home throughout the entire process. They were always available to answer questions to make sure our day went exactly as planned. The cabin on site was fantastic for getting ready in (highly recommend booking it the night before and the night of the wedding!). The venue is absolutely stunning, from the outdoor ceremony site to the restaurant. Plus the food was fantastic! Genuinely some of the best food I've had and we got compliments from so many people about how good the food was! If we had to choose a venue all over again, we would choose the Greenbriar every time. I genuinely can't recommend this venue enough -- they were absolutely fantastic and made our day perfect.

We could not have asked for a better venue for our big day. The moment we did our initial visit we knew we found our place! Madeline was immediately enthusiastic and kind, the owner came down and gave us his congratulations, and the ambience was elegant and warm. Madeline walked us through every single step of the way, ensuring our day would go off without a hitch. The wedding day itself completely blew me away. Everything was perfect. And GORGEOUS. Greenbriar has such a charm to it that showed in every way, during both the ceremony and reception. The landscaping is stunning and the venue boasts the coziest of vibes. And the FOOD! Absolutely delicious and so many options to pick from when curating the reception dinner. Greenbriar provided us with the night of our lives and we cannot thank them enough.

Our wedding at the Greenbriar Inn was absolutely perfect! The serene, beautiful, and inviting outdoor setting created the ideal atmosphere for our wedding evening. From the moment our guests arrived, they were impressed by the charm and elegance of the venue.

We hosted our cocktail hour on the south lawn, which was thoughtfully arranged with whiskey barrels for standing and a few small tables for seating. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious, and the signature cocktails inspired by our sweet dogs were a huge hit with everyone!

The dining room downstairs was just the right size for our 80 guests, offering plenty of space without feeling too spread out. Everything was meticulously organized, and the food service was timely and seamless. The food itself was phenomenal—one of the main reasons we chose the Greenbriar—and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. The cake, a carrot cake perfectly fitting for our fall wedding, was an absolute standout. People still talk about how amazing it was!

Working with Madeline was a dream. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and made the planning process so much smoother. The entire Greenbriar staff were professional, well-organized, and truly went above and beyond to make our day special.

We also loved having the bridal party spend the morning and afternoon getting ready in the cabin. While it was a bit snug for a group of six, along with hair and makeup artists and our photographer, we made it work and appreciated having such a cozy space to prepare for the big day.

We cannot recommend the Greenbriar Inn enough! It was everything we hoped for and more—a venue that made our wedding unforgettable.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We found Greenbriar to be more affordable and accommodating than other venues in the area. We booked the upstairs room, outside waterfall area, and patio for all of our events and every spot was perfect. Although we were worried about not having enough space upstairs for our 75 guests, our 4 pice band, The Lunchables (best wedding band in town!), a projector, and the buffet, this space was perfect for the cozy and intimate setting we were hoping for. We had a blast and the staff at Greenbriar made it extra special. The staff were all very communicative and it was extremely helpful to include a day of coordinator when we booked. She was very responsive and thorough in her emails, addressing all questions and concerns for us via email and phone. She spent over an hour on the phone with us, making sure she had addressed all of our concerns and ensuring a less stressful day. We had great food and the cake was professionally made in house. Overall, one of the best venues for a wedding party. The staff were all professional, nice, and supportive in trying to make our day stress-free and extremely memorable. Highly recommend booking this venue for an off the beaten path, beautiful experience.

My husband and I cannot say enough about how fantastic our experience was. We had a small wedding with 50 guests and could not have imagined it taking place anywhere else. The staff at The Greenbriar are absolutely wonderful. The planning was stress-free and even fun, and the day-of could not have gone smoother. I did not consider myself a 'bridey' bride and I immediately felt welcome and appreciated by The Greenbriar, they went above and beyond to create an event that my husband and I adored. By the end of our big day we felt like we were hosted by close friends. We are incredibly grateful to have had our wedding at The Greenbriar.

Our daughter had her wedding at the Greenbriar Inn July 2024. The ceremony was held at the pond which is a gorgeous venue with a waterfall and backdrop of the flatirons. Our cocktail hour at the South Lawn was set up beautifully with tables, scrumptious appetizers and fabulous choices of beer, wine and mixed drinks. The tables in the Sunroom were set to perfection where our dinner buffet was held. The buffet was delicious from London broil, chicken piccata, trout and gnocchi as well as salad greens and fresh vegetables. The chef prepared truffles, chocolate dipped strawberries and cupcakes but they do make wedding cakes. We rented the on site cabin that had all the amenities to relax and get ready for the big day. Madeline, the Greenbriar Inn wedding planner was composed and helpful as wedding planning can be hectic. So thankful for that! Put trust in her as she knows what she is doing. Highly recommend the Greenbriar Inn for a wedding or any future event you may have!

I can't say enough positive things about the Greenbriar Inn (GBI). We had our 130-person winter wedding there (in December) and every detail was fantastic. Taylor and Emma were absolutely fabulous through every step of the planning process. They are a responsive, flexible, and detail-driven team! Valerie was our banquet captain and was phenomenal. We did not hire an additional wedding planner or "day-of" coordinator and I'm glad we didn't because the Greenbriar Inn team had all of the "day-of" support we needed. We were able to simply enjoy our night while GBI worked their magic. We received tons of compliments from our guests raving about how attentive and seamless the service and whole evening was.

We also chose to rent the cottage which was gorgeous! We used the space for getting ready/bridal sweet, then as a quiet area for an infant/babysitter during our reception, and finally for a little (mellow) afterparty and honeymoon sweet! Very much worth the investment for us.

I would absolutely get married at the Greenbriar Inn again-- can't wait to return from anniversary celebrations for years to come!

We had a wonderful experience planning a 30-person cocktail hour and dinner at the Greenbriar in fall 2023 to celebrate our elopement. We wanted an elegant venue where we could bring our own style to the event and take a less "Traditional" approach, but also didn't know where to start with planning something on our own - and the Greenbriar was a great fit for this. Emma was responsive and always willing to help as we prepped the details of the event, and Valerie led a thoughtful service that kept us on track while also letting the night unfold naturally. In particular the Greenbriar was incredibly accommodating as we vegan-ified our menu, including making a vegan cake, vegan entree option, and creating a unique vegan hors d'oeuvres menu. The only other vendor we brought in was a photographer and we also appreciated the flexibility to take plenty of photos on the property despite not doing a traditional ceremony. Everything else could fully be handled by the Greenbriar team. Finally, we appreciated that the team was really transparent about pricing from the get-go which was refreshing so there were no surprises. We'd absolutely recommend this venue, and looking back would not change anything about the evening.

Taylor and everyone else we interacted with was so tremendously wonderful. From start to finish the planning and execution of my wedding was so easy and amazing.

As a wedding venue the Greenbriar is absolutely stunning, and for the reception after the upstairs dining room is beautiful and well suited for private events with amazing atmosphere and a beautiful patio with views of the grounds.

Other than flowers, DJ, and photographer the Greenbriar takes care of every other aspect of the wedding and reception. And I highly recommend them for both. They assited with the timing of everyone walking down the aisle, setup of chairs and sound system, and a seamless transition into the reception.

For the reception cocktail hour, dinner, and desert we were served by a wonderful staff, and the bartender was amazing. Everyone was so professional, dealt with the craziness of all our guests and last minute changes to the guest list.

The food was exquisite. The salmon and chicken picatta were delicious too, but the beef was absolutely incredible and tender.

10/10 absolutely incredible, worth everything we paid for the service, venue, and food.

We had an excellent experience with the Greenbriar Inn for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. They helped us plan for the rehearsal at the venue, allocated a lovely space for the dinner, provided a terrific buffet dinner with professional service, and were responsive to our questions and requests. Furthermore, the cost was better than we found for comparable venues in the area. I would choose the Greenbriar again in a heartbeat for an event in the Boulder area.

We can’t recommend the Greenbriar Inn enough. It is a beautiful facility with the ability to host gatherings of all different sizes and feels depending on your needs. The location cannot be beat: stunning foothills, perfect place to see sunset, and just far enough out of boulder. The food at the restaurant is pretty good, but for wedding food it was excellent- way better than your standard catering set up - and everyone said the cake was the best they’ve ever had

We ended up looking into the Greenbriar Inn just 3 months before our wedding as our previous venue was having issues. From the moment we first called to inquire, they were extremely helpful. Taylor and Emma were both so efficient and helpful to work with as they helped us put together our 70-person wedding in 3 months! We were able to create a delicious buffet menu that was within our budget and our guests all loved the food. They even do wedding cakes- and GOOD wedding cakes! At the rehearsal, Phil helped us organize and make sure things were set to go for the big day. They also let our family in early in the morning the day of the wedding to help set up our decorations. They have a little room where I sat with my girls and drank a mimosa and ate fruit between our first look and our ceremony, and the guys hung out in the bar area. At dinner, the service was friendly and organized. They were very communicative with us through the evening. We were so impressed and so glad we ended up having our wedding there!

My husband and I hired Greenbriar Inn to host our wedding dinner and it was an awesome experience! We were a small group (12 adults + 1 infant, including the bride and groom) and Taylor at GBI really worked with us to create the perfect experience! We booked a third of the upstairs for our private dinner. Divider walls in the upstairs dining area created a perfect space - private and a little quieter than the restaurant (without being dead silent). The food and wine were delicious, the service was awesome, and the communication throughout the planning was process was great! Thank you to everyone at GBI for making it a special night!!

We just got married at the Greenbriar Inn. What a fabulous place- the scenery is amazing, the food is fabulous, and the staff were so attentive, professional and on point. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day!

My fiancé and I ended up not booking this venue for our wedding for logistical reasons, however I wanted to leave a review to speak to just how patient, understanding, and compassionate the team was in working with us. Kathi Jo and the rest of the team at the Greenbriar really made the process of working with them stress-free and positive.

Kathi Jo and her team at the Greenbriar were excellent! I was looking for a venue that had a cozy, romantic feel and that was just what I found at the Greenbriar. We were so fortunate to not only have a beautiful venue, but also have someone like Kathi Jo who was so responsive to messages, never made me feel like I was bothering her, and was so committed to making our day exactly how we wanted it. As we were coming from out of town, she assured me that she had decorations, food, cake, and all details put together and she was not lying. I went to the Greenbriar a few days before our wedding day and found that everything was exactly how she described and that there were no details that had been overlooked. On the day of the wedding, everything happened without delay or problem and all of our guests said how beautiful the venue was and how even more incredible the staff was. I highly recommend the Greenbriar, Kathi Jo, and the rest of her team to anyone!

We had a small elopement (total 10 guests) and looked all over the Boulder area for a place to accommodate a private party for such a small group. After what proved to be a very challenging search, we finally stumbled upon the greenbriar and we are so glad we did. From the very beginning Kathh Jo was very attentive, reassuring us that they had a perfect space for us to have a private dinner with our small group. The communication from day one was always great. The day our of celebration dinner was absolutely perfect. The property itself is very beautiful and well maintained, and then the private room where we all were was warm and quaint. They had us gathered around a large square table which made for a perfect family dinner vibe which was exactly what we were going for. Joe as our personal waiter was the best experience. He quickly picked up on our family's sense of humor and had us laughing all night. We had our wedding cake made on premises, and that, along with all of the food (and wine) was absolutely delicious...I cant say enough. Even though we were a small group, we felt just as important as a wedding of 200.

Kathi Jo, the Greenbriar's wedding coordinator, is a sorceress. She will work her butt off for you to make your wedding absolutely perfect. Also, if the most important part of wedding day is the FOOD (like it was for us), you can count on the Greenbriar for delicious, hot plates for every guest.

My husband and I chose the Greenbriar Inn because it felt intimate and familiar, has beautiful grounds (we knew we wanted to have an outdoor ceremony), and it didn't feel like a corporate venue. We worked with Kathi Jo to plan our wedding. She was easy to communicate with and responsive. The week leading up to our wedding was rainy, but Kathi Jo had multiple ceremony options in case things didn't clear up -- though ultimately the sun came out and we were able to have our ceremony outdoors where we had originally planned! The food was excellent, and the chef even made our favorite dessert that was not on the menu. So many of our family and friends complimented us on the venue, they loved that it was a restaurant and they loved the food! Kathi Jo has a great team who were so friendly and worked so hard the day of. We couldn't be happier with our choice of venue and can't wait to go back and visit for a meal.

Wonderful venue overall. Phil and Emma were so great to work with. Emma helped us get everything organized ahead of time and had great communication. Phil was there the day of and made sure everything ran smoothly. The venue was beautiful and the food and dining experience was perfect. I would recommend this site for any wedding!

CHARMING AND IMPECCABLE! Held my wedding ceremony at Greenbriar Inn followed with Champagne Brunch. What a perfect day, everything was flawless and seamless! Kathi Jo is absolutely incredible, so caring and genuine and is a true gem. The owners and staff are so welcoming and sweet, they made us feel like we were the only guests in-house! Food was spectacular, their Sunday Brunch has a great variety and wonderful presentation! I fell in love with the property, the service was top-notch, and I can't say enough good things about Kathi Jo. Already looking forward to going back and celebrating my anniversary!

The Greenbriar is an all around fantastic venue. The setting is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. We took all of our photos there and they look like we traipsed around to a variety of stunning locations, because the grounds offer such diversity of scenery—wild meadows, manicured lawns, ponds, and trees. The restaurant itself is so quaint, cozy, and romantic—not to mention the food is incredible, the wine list is impressive, and the well liquor is very solid. Also, our wedding cake was actually one of the best cakes I’ve ever had—whoever said wedding cakes are always dry and tasteless hasn’t had cake from the Greenbriar. I just loved how unique the Greenbriar is, as a lot of wedding venues look the same to me. Despite having 150 guests, I felt like I was having an intimate dinner with our closest friends, instead of presiding over a big banquet hall (that being said, if you want a big banquet hall, this probably isn’t the place for you). Perhaps most importantly, the staff of the Greenbriar are SO helpful and professional. They can take care of day-of coordination, food, drinks, cake, linens/serveware, sound/mics for the ceremony, and chairs for the ceremony. Kathi Jo made everything so easy to plan, which was important as we were planning from afar. The staff is so thoughtful and they really think of every detail, including those you might never have thought of yourself so you can just enjoy your day (for example, they took my bouquet from me after the ceremony and put it in water so it would look perky for our additional photos later). And, particularly considering the array of services they provide, the Greenbriar was definitely less expensive than other venues we looked at. I will admit we exceeded the final estimate they gave us, but my husband and I also expected that would happen so it wasn’t an unpleasant surprise. If you have an open bar and you know your friends really like to party, either set a cut-off point or you might go over your estimate.

We had our wedding two weeks ago at the Greenbriar and it was nothing short of amazing!!! We had the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors and the reception was indoors in the main dining room. The cabin lawn for the ceremony was so perfect, with the fall colors and then the foothills behind. It was a destination wedding for the majority of our guests and it truly was the perfect Colorado setting!

THE FOOD - I have never been to a wedding previously that had good food so I was beyond happy to have had such fantastic food at our own wedding! Our guests are still talking about the property and the food!

The banquet coordinator, Kathi Jo, as well as Valerie, Cliff, and the rest of the staff were professional, helpful, and made sure we were not worried about anything throughout the planning as well as the day of the wedding. We had literally no worries the day of which is unheard of! We could not have asked for a better or more accommodating venue. They gave us freedom with our vendors and even suggested and helped with "the little things". My favorite was to use the fall leaves from the grounds during our recessional! So fun and BEAUTIFUL.

We had visited some other venues in the area while we were planning last year and this was the only one that made us feel like we weren't just another tab on their sales column for the year. We have so many happy memories from our wedding day with our friends and families at the Greenbriar Inn and we would not change a thing! THANK YOU! I cannot tell you enough how impressed I am with the service at Greenbriar Inn. I remember walking in to meet Kathi Jo and she told me that I would not be stressed and to leave it all to her. I truly was not at all stressed on the day. Kathi Jo made everything easy and all I had to do was enjoy the day.

The venue was amazing. We didn’t need any decorations due to the natural beauty of the venue. If you are look for natural beauty to save a little money. I highly recommend.

Prior to finding the Greenbriar Inn I was stressed at all of the financial cost involved. When I left Kathi Jo that first day, I was relieved that we would start our marriage debit free.

We still get rave reviews from our guests on the food. It was outstanding!!!!!

The Greenbriar was the perfect place to get married. Kathi Jo and the rest of the staff listened to all of our ideas and did their best to make sure our wedding day was flawless. I didn't have to worry about the details, as they had it all taken care of. The food was fabulous and our cake was delicious. The Greenbriar was the perfect setting for our magical, fall wedding.

This venue is stunning, quaint, and everything we wanted! It's impossible to have a bad view during the ceremony. The staff here is wonderful, helpful, and kind. Kathi Jo makes any worry or concern you have go away. She has years of experience and makes the process as painless as possible. I never worried about things getting done as I knew we were in good hands. On top off the amazing views and wonderful staff...their food is absolutely delicious! Our guests were raving about their meals. My husband and I will always be back for brunch and dinner!

The Greenbriar is a beautiful setting with great food, and all of the staff were very helpful. They gave great suggestions about timing, room layout, and menu options that I wouldn't have thought of, and were very easy to work with. I felt that they were reasonably priced and very convenient as they provided the venue, the food, and the cake the event, as well as their sound system to use as we provided our own music. The day went perfectly, and Greenbriar staff was very helpful in keeping everything on track.

Perfect! We had a very small ceremony and dinner in August, everything was perfect! Phil and Emma were great from the start. We used the south lawn and sunroom for our event. It was perfect for 25 people. The wait staff was awesome. After our appetizers they quickly set up for the ceremony and made sure my husband and I had drinks and were doing well the entire night! The greenbriar was awesome!

Wow. The Greenbriar was the perfect place for our wedding. Phil & Emma and all of the incredible staff there are so attentive, flexible, helpful and fun! From start to finish, they ensure that every need is met and every moment counts. They don't just want to host weddings, they want to be a part of them. They do everything they can to guarantee that your wedding day is filled with joy and they sincerely want the bride and groom to have their dreams come to life. I was a very hands on bride and I planned our wedding myself down to every last tiny detail - which means I emailed them ... a lot! They were there for me and actually helped my process along by making professional suggestions from experience that made our wedding just that much better. They are very busy with all of the events and weddings and everyday business of their restaurant, but you never feel less important to them than another. I will say that having the owner of your venue present at your wedding shows his true love for this business of weddings. He came to our table during dinner to personally congratulate us. A special touch that truly blessed us. The staff took such great care of our guests and the entire event flowed smoothly. They took care of everything. Beyond all of this, the Greenbriar is a beautiful place! They have created a perfect setting for the most important event of your life!

We absolutely loved everything about The Greenbriar Inn! We were supposed to have our ceremony outside and unfortunately it started raining thirty minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start. The coordinator at the Greenbriar, Liz, was so helpful. She showed us the weather radar on her computer and discussed other options since the rain wasn't going away anytime soon. She offered us a space inside and we agreed that would be the best spot, but she could tell I wasn't happy and really wanted it outside. A few minutes later she returned with news that the staff could set up a couple of tents to make it work outside in the rain. It was the most intimate, beautiful ceremony. Thanks to all the staff and especially Liz, our wedding day turned out fantastic! P.S. The food is phenomenal and all the staff are super friendly.

Our wedding reception was amazing! The staff did a great job and the food was fabulous. Their wedding planner, Liz Daniels helped make our planning very easy. She offered great advice and was wonderful to work with. I would recommend this location to anyone getting married!!

We were married in Vegas in April 2001 and wanted to have a celebration and a more traditional Jewish wedding with our family and friends. We had an amazing, non-traditional wedding here. The food was SO good that everyone was almost silent as they ate - people said it was the best mean they'd had in ages! They were really hospitable (they let us have a Klezmer Band, me sing and us dance on the patio), the setting was gorgeous and the whole event was great! We went back to celebrate our anniversary 2 years later, when I was pregnant with our first child, and it was just as good!

The staff at Greenbriar were extremely flexible when working with me. I had a unique request. I wanted to provide a location for the many people that traveled to our wedding to see us one more time the next morning. Our budget,however, was not large enough for us to provide a brunch for our guests. We worked out a system where families could call in to make a reservation for our party in advance, therefore we could all sit together and talk, but checks were split according to family. It took a bit of organization but everything went very smoothly and the brunch was delicious!

The staff was helpful, prepared, knowledgeable, professional, flexible, respectful, clean, organized and kind.
Food was delicious with a lot of different options in both taste and cost to meet our needs. The setup was well done in a buffet style; organized too.
The planning was easy for us. They laid out all needs/options for us. They answered questions with great detail and had pictures to help us visualize. They accommodated multiple visits to make sure we were confident on our day.
Matt and Crystal were so great. They made the rehearsal easy and our big day less stressful. They cared about all the details.

The team and venue was great. We have nothing but good things to say about it and so does all our family and friends. Highly recommend.

From the moment we stepped foot on the property a year ago, to the very last minute of our event, we were genuinely impressed! The staff on-site was super helpful, accommodating to all of our guests and I have to give the biggest shoutout to Madeline our event coordinator! The way this woman juggles multiple things when it all looks crazy and chaotic is just incredible. She was responsive during all of our planning, and helped us with all of the changing aspects of the event since we were planning from out of state. Also, the CAKE, omg our guests cannot stop raving about the cake, and the ceremony location at Greenbriar falls. They were in love and so were we! I’m incredibly thankful for the experience and time spent at the Greenbriar Inn and cannot wait to come back and visit on our Wedding Anniversary! If you’re looking to have the coziest, and most intimate celebration, don’t hesitate to make your memories here!

My daughter and son in law were married at the Greenbriar on 9/5/21 after a year's COVID delay. After many ups and downs due to COVID rules changing, Kathi Jo, Valerie and the Greenbriar staff pulled off the perfect event. Everything was as we had asked, the food was noted by many to be the best they had ever eaten at a wedding, the cake made on site was delicious, the rehearsal, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing all went off without a hitch. The venue is lovely and we were blessed with excellent weather. Once Kathi Jo knew what we wanted she executed it perfectly and she and Valerie made the entire event flow smoothly by taking on all responsibility and just letting us know when WE needed to be somewhere or do something. We definitely were able to enjoy our own party. If you are looking for great food, a beautiful outdoor setting, a lovely cocktail hour space, wonderful servers, a fun sunroom for the band and dancing, an efficient bar and overall attention to detail The Greenbriar should be on your list for venues. We cannot thank them enough for making all of our dreams come true.

Bottom line: We were absolutely delighted with our wedding at the Greenbriar Inn, and cannot say enough good things about the wonderful staff and facility.
Details: The grounds are absolutely lovely, with mountains in the background, a trout pond, plenty of plant life, and a 5000 sq ft garden where they grow many of the vegetables they serve. The main dining room, where we had our reception, is so beautiful on its own that we didn't have any decorations besides centerpieces, and the sun room was perfect as a dance floor/photo booth area. The food/cup cakes were fantastically delicious and are what really make the GBI a great value, in our opinion, though everything was amazing. The coordinator, Kathi Jo, is friendly and helpful, as are the owners, Phil and Emma. Valerie was with us throughout the event to make sure things ran smoothly/on time, and to ensure we ate. According to family, the other servers and bartenders were also great. Sadly for us, our ceremony was rained out, but we were shocked at how quickly staff was able to convert main dining area to and from the ceremony area. We got numerous compliments on the food, facilities, and staff at our event, and continue to receive them a week later.
There are only two very small downsides: 1) The staff can be a little slow to respond to emails, but always got back to us within a week. If I felt the matter was more urgent, I just called and typically got an answer. 2) Folks dining in the bar area must walk through receptions in the main dining room to get to the restrooms (would not be an issue for an upstairs reception, but that area was too small for our 100 guests and a dance flood). This was not a big deal to us, but wanted to mention it since it may be upsetting to some couples.
Overall we were very impressed and pleased with our wedding at the GBI!

We couldn't have found a better place for our wedding! Everything was perfect, the food and cakes were beyond delicious, and even though we had one already, there was no need for an event planner as the owners and staff take care of as much detail as you need them to. We hope to return for our anniversaries as often as we can!

We had originally thought we'd just do a destination wedding by ourselves and then have a reception locally. I knew right away when we went to visit the Greenbriar that it was where I wanted to hold our wedding- and not just a reception but to have the entire event there. The charm of the venue fit the theme I wanted. The food is SO good! What you get for the cost is just amazing. Phil is great at explaining how the day will go, he'll answer any questions you have. He's great with helping you come up with options and ideas. It's obvious they all take great pride in the venue and the food. You are able to decorate pretty much however you like and there are a lot of areas to take some neat photos.
About 10 days before our wedding, Boulder had the worst flooding it's had in maybe 500-1000 years! Luckily the Greenbriar building was spared but they were out of water and gas. Emma kept us up to speed on the water being turned back on and the local road closure status. We were so grateful that we were still able to have our wedding at the Greenbriar.
The day of went so smoothly. Valerie took care of everything for us, she was there to get us anything we needed. She even gave me a little pep talk when I got super stressed because our photographer wasn't there yet. We were able to really enjoy the day! All our guests had a great time, loved the food and the service. Many people said it was the best food they've had at a wedding. The staff even helped us pack everything up when it was time to go.
We didn't even look at any other venues after touring the Greenbriar. If you want great service, food and a quaint venue by the mountains- without spending a fortune- the Greenbriar Inn is it!

The Greenbriar staff could not have been more helpful or polite. They were responsive to questions leading up to the event, and on the day of the wedding, they were there to keep me informed. The evening went off without a hitch, and the staff kept the event moving seamlessly. The food was delicious and looked perfectly presented. The Greenbriar is a perfect wedding venue.

We thought the Greenbriar did a fantastic job on our wedding. All the food was excellent--many of our guests told us that the prime rib was the best they ever had, not just at weddings but of all time! The service was perfect, the wait staff was friendly and professional. We also ended up under budget at the end of the night! The only negative thing I can think of was that the wedding planner sometimes took a while to get back to us during the time leading up to the wedding. However, in the end what matters is the big day--and we are very glad that we made the decision to have our reception here.

We compared a couple venues in the Boulder area and this one seemed the perfect fit for us. We loved the view of the mountains behind us during our ceremony. We followed with a cocktail hour outside and then the reception on the main level. Kathy Jo, our contact, was great and responded quickly to any calls or concerns. The day of the wedding was completely strafer. My husband and I had our own server that was constantly making sure we had what we needed. Everything was taken care of and the night flowed seamlessly! Many of our guests commented on the food (we had prime rib, chicken, and salmon) and how amazing it was. We'd have to agree! It was much better than other banquet hall type dinners I've had at other weddings. My husband and I have already decided to have our anniversary dinner at the Greenbriar Inn each year because the food is SO good! I would definitely recommend having your ceremony and reception at The Greenbriar.

The staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. The venue was elegant and in a beautiful, natural setting. The food was fabulous!

Greenbriar Inn was a destination wedding site for us, and before I saw it in person, the grounds and the scenery were so gorgeous that I was convinced the photos had to have been edited. In rare form, everything was actually more beautiful in person. When people ask me, "why Colorado?" I just show them pictures taken around the restaurant, and they immediately understand. The second reason we chose the Greenbriar Inn was for the convenience. They have amazing food, delicious wine, a fabulous in-house baker who takes care of cakes, great preferred vendors, and you don't have to worry about stuff like artificial distinctions between linens and table settings ... their default is already fabulous. It took so much of the planning stress out of the equation. Based on several recent awards, Greenbriar's magic seems to be catching on, and more and more people are demanding the attention of their coordinator Kathi Jo. Don't always expect an instant response from her, but never fear - she's been making notes of all of the tiny details that go back and forth and she'll come through for you. So sit back, relax, and trust that the Greenbriar Inn is a fantastic place to make your dream wedding day come to life.

We really enjoyed working with Liz from the Greenbriar. She was available to answer every question we needed in a timely manner. She treated us like we were a big-budget wedding, which we weren't. All of our guests were happy with every bit of the wedding and reception.

We only had two complaints about the location and venue: The outside ceremony on the South Lawn is just too close to the highway. We can only hear cars in our video, but this is just a location thing. I know they are building a new ceremony site farther away from the road for an extra fee.

Also, we had a few guests that needed to leave early before lunch was served and they were not willing to pack up three lunches for them to take to go. They only gave them their salads.

Otherwise, great venue.

The staff is what made this venue in my mind really great. They are very professional and treated me and the guests very well. It was pricey, but when compared to other venues within the same cost. This venue is sure to be liked though.

The Greenbriar was great up until we started working with Emma. Taylor is amazing. Emma did not read what Taylor had already worked out with us and asked us all the same questions. Then they both disappeared on the wedding day after the ceremony completely leaving the head waitress to take care of all of our needs. It was extremely disappointing. She did her best and was extremely accommodating and kind but this is NOT what was agreed upon in the contract. They had two other weddings that day and chose to concentrate their efforts there. We agreed they would take care of us as “day of coordinators”.

Emma forgot what we agreed upon for our ceremony and changed our ceremony to someone else’s format. They promised me a go cart so I wouldn’t have to walk in my heels all the way to the water scape from the restaurant then never provided it. They moved our things from the bridal suite without telling us or anyone else where they moved them so we couldn’t find anything for the reception then wouldn’t come over to tell us where anything was. The final frustration was the sound system. We paid for it, the kid helping us knew nothing about it, no one seemed to know how to work it so we ended up without music at our wedding - fantastic!!!

It was rude and unprofessional. I was extremely disappointed.

We had a nice wedding here, but I regret booking this site. Liz Daniels was not polite to my husband and I on a consistent basis and she made planning very difficult. She has a very unpleasant demeanor and always seemed put-off by any questions or concerns.
