Great service!

My wife and I were very pleased with our wedding! The staff was on point, our maître D John was fantastic! Food is great! The ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and then the reception we loved every part and work with you with anything you need!

I recently had my wedding at The GrayCliff and it was a wonderful experience.

Absolutely phenomenal, I had a dream wedding at The GrayCliff. I can’t begin to describe how beautiful everything turned out to be. The service was excellent good food all my guests were complimenting on how they had such a wonderful time. Such an amazing venue with very professional , friendly staff.

Wonderful Wedding

They make our wedding reception beautiful. From the planning, all the staff were a big help to us. The service was perfect. They kept reminding us what to do from the beginning until our big day. Our maitre d' ( Catherine) really does a great job 🥰 I highly recommend this venue to my friends and other people.

Great food!

I got married on 10/23 and let me tell you planning a wedding during a global pandemic is hard as hell but Tony, and Cathy really went above and beyond for me. The ballroom has been recently renovated and is GORGEOUS we had the best time and the food was very good!

Outstanding Venue, Outstanding Staff!

There are not enough words to explain how amazing the staff at The Graycliff are! Everyone from the people who helped us plan, to the maitre’d and the assistant maitre’d, as well as all the other staff on the day, are just outstanding. Our wedding was perfect, thanks in large part to them. Our friends and family can not stop raving about the service at The Graycliff, and we couldn’t agree with them more.

Amazing Venue - Top Notch!

We had our wedding at The Graycliff on June 1, 2019. We had a guest list of 200 people & our maitre d', John, was absolutely phenomenal. But let me rewind a bit, during our tour they answered all our questions, the owner sat down to work out pricing with us and that's the thing - he WORKED with our budget. The pricing we received for the service and quality we were provided was honestly a steal. They set up our cake through Palermo Bakery & we had such a great time at our cake tasting and most importantly our food tasting at The Graycliff. Everything they did for us was a memory that will last a lifetime, from the initial consultation, to food tasting to our very special day. John and his team went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and stress free. All my guests were impressed by the food, venue, drinks and service. I cannot thank The Graycliff and their team enough for making our special day truly memorable and a 5 Star day all around (even with the minor mishaps - which had nothing to do with them). I strongly recommend any and every bride & groom to consider The Graycliff for their big day or any event! They have a life long customer/friend with me and my husband. Thank you!! - The Hincapies

Absolutely perfect!!

The venue was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. Everyone told me to expect something to go wrong on your wedding day because nothing is ever perfect but that was not what happened here. Not one thing went wrong the staff was always right there to help in any way they could. Also the food was exceptional. Definitely recommending this venue to all my friends.

Amazing wedding!

There are not enough positive words for the experience we had with the Graycliff! I’ll start from the beginning. My husband and I visited 22 wedding venues in the tri-state area and nothing even came close to what we felt at the Graycliff. Our first visit, we received a tour and met with Michelle - who is the sweetest person ever to deal with when it came to plan our wedding! She broke down the pricing for us, it was very reasonable compared to some of the other venues we saw. Working with Michelle made the entire experience fun. I am Russian, and my husband is half Italian, so we were looking for a venue that would accommodate our cultures - especially one that would provide TONS of food. We came to the tasting and our parents fell in love with it immediately and we booked that same day. Tony the owner was great to work with as well, they truly cared about making me feel like I got everything I wanted. They were able to swap out some menu options to fit exactly what we wanted, and they were even able to incorporate some of our Russian type foods. During the last visit, we met with Michelle and dropped off everything we had for the wedding day (favors, seating cards, etc.) I had specific instructions and Michelle made each one happen without hesitation!

Day of wedding: We called from the limo to give them ETA as we were travelling from our ceremony in CT and timing wasn’t exact. Our limo was escorted to the side of building directly to the bridal suite, so no one would know the bride/groom had arrived. The bridal room was filled with food and the maître d was constantly around to make sure we had everything and to get us drinks. During the cocktail hour we went to take pictures, all the attendants escorting us were communicating via ear pieces to make sure it was a clear path to the photo location, that no one was there, and bride wouldn’t be bombarded with guests. It was all so discreet and smooth - as if they were trained government operatives! After pictures, we were escorted back and got ready for the reception, we didn’t have time to join our guests during the cocktail hour as bustling my dress took too long but from our video we just received, the cocktail hour was INSANE. (Best part was suckling pig that we got to take home leftovers of at the end of the night.) The amount of food was ridiculous, and everything was perfectly decorated. It also wasn’t just filler decorated food, there were truly tons of DELICIOUS food options for every kind of taste. Afterwards, we heard from multiple guests that they thought cocktail hour was the reception food given how much of us and how delicious it was! The pianist that the venue provided was the perfect touch as well. We had bought all the additional food options they offered, and they were honestly worth every penny. Graycliff also included the cake, and that additional expense was so nice to save on - Palermo’s provided excellent cake that we got to choose!

Our reception went off without a hitch. Our food was brought out first. It was delicious but given all that was going on, we didn’t eat much of it, we wanted to make sure we said hello to all our guests. Drinks kept being brought to us, the servers were great as well. We had heard from multiple guests that the steaks were cooked to each guest’s perfect specifications, which rarely happens at big wedding. No one left our wedding hungry. Dessert was amazing, the fire show was quick but well worth it! We were too busy dancing to get dessert but also from the video, what we saw was amazing! Our guests had to be rolled out from all the food and desserts at the end of the night!

There was only 1 bar in the room but there were multiple bartenders and there was never ever a line for drinks - servers brought drinks to the tables as well. We had 120 guests, and no one was ever cramped. Michelle worked with me on table sizes to accommodate all my seating arrangement requests. The dance floor looked deceivingly small, but it was the perfect size for all our guests to dance on. The rectangular shape was also very neat and worked out great!

As the bride, you want to feel special on your wedding day and The Graycliff did not disappoint. They did not say no to a single of my requests: I was hot in my big dress- they immediately turned the AC cooler, I wanted the lights brighter, they immediately did that. Talk about feeling like queen for a day, the Graycliff is one of the biggest reasons my husband and I had the most perfect day! Michelle even had food packed for us when we were ready to leave, as well as all our things we brought (cake cutting/serving set, etc.) ready to be loaded on the bus back to the hotel. They accommodated the Russian traditions and had all the things we requested ready so that everything went smoothly. My parents are very old school Russian and they were very impressed that a non-Russian venue was able to accommodate our Russian traditions.

Special note on Ultimate Entertainment: The chandelier in the Forum room was what sold us on that room. My husband and I kept going back and forth on whether to hire Ultimate Entertainment to do the pre-installed uplighting in the room/chandelier. In the end, we did not hire them for any kind of additional lighting in the room and honestly, our room looked beautiful without it. The flowers and napkin colors provided just the right amount of color, and the chandelier alone was plenty to make the room beautiful. I also appreciate that neither Michelle nor anyone at the Graycliff made us feel obligated to go with Ultimate for anything, especially the lighting. (We did meet with them and they were very nice, just wasn’t what we were looking for in terms of photography, & DJ.) If you are on the fence about Ultimate for uplighting, just know The Graycliff’s rooms look beautiful As Is!

We cannot thank everyone enough at The Graycliff for the most perfect wedding we had! The whole day went by too fast and I did not want it to end. If I had to redo it, I would 100000% pick the Graycliff again. I wish we lived closer, so we could have more events there! The Graycliff is definitely the place to have your wedding. Tony and his staff went above and beyond for our wedding !!! My husband and I, and all our guest were all so happy and thrilled with everything about the Graycliff. Friendly staff, great food, and just an all around awesome time !!! You would be foolish to go anywhere else for your wedding reception !!!

I had never been to the Graycliff before my bridal shower was thrown there. We had the room that looked like a greenhouse with the glass ceiling and walls. The room itself was beautiful! There was an outdoor space attached as well so people could go inside and outside. The food was delicious and there was a large variety to choose from. Jackie was the "captain" of the shower and she was amazing. She was so accommodating and happy to help. The mimosas were delicious, but on the weaker side. My only suggestion would be to make them a little stronger but otherwise everything was perfect!

We got married 11.11.17 in the Forum at the Graycliff and it was magical! All our family and friends were amazed with our signature pumpkin drinks, candy station and Viennese show. Our maitre d Wil was excellent! She made sure I didnt worry about a thing and communicated with us throughout the nite. Definetly had no hard times with The Graycliff during the our wedding planning.

Great venue!! John was our MD and he went above and beyond to make our wedding special. Everything was perfect, food was great, and it was plenty of it, open bar and table service was amazing!!! We received so many compliments about food and desserts!!! Everything was fresh and delicious. The cocktail area was clean and nicely decorated, they have person playing piano during the cocktail hour. Some of the guests arrived early and they enjoyed premium open bar and snacks before the room was set up for cocktail hour!! That's called a great service!!! The reception room was set up the way we wanted. John truly listened to our requests and did everything to our liking. We will do more parties/events there in the future!!!

I don't even know where to begin. I had my wedding on September 1, 2017 and I must say I am in awe!!! I booked with the Graycliff because of its customer service, great food and package. However, I was reluctant and slightly embarrassed by the lack of upgrades. I expressed all of my concerns and the staff did what was necessary to make me feel confident in my decision of having my wedding there. I walked into my reception and was amazed!!!! My entire experience was awesome!!!!! I can't thank Tony, Kathy, Michelle, Ahmed and our Matre D (I can't recall his name) for knocking me off my feet! I highly recommend the Graycliff to every bride!!!! You will not regret it! So many people have called, emailed and texted that my wedding was the best they have ever attended!!! Thank you so much Graycliff staff for making my dream wedding come true!!

We cannot thank Kathy and team enough for an amazing wedding!!! From the first time we looked at the venue to the very end of our wedding, Kathy was so accommodating and great to work with. She did everything we asked for and even through in extras where she could. She was so welcoming to my family every time we came in, answered all of our questions, and alway so helpful. I have to say you might be discouraged by the industrial area The Graycliff is in, but once you walk in you will be pleasantly surprised. We got many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. The Graycliff was also one of the few venues that lets you do a food tasting before booking. This was a nice touch and only confirmed that this is where we wanted to have our wedding! The food was great and the volume of food we had at our wedding was amazing!! Our guests loved the food and the variety we had the cocktail hour. There was room for everyone to get food and sit. The greenhouse was awesome and people even sat on the patio. We were in the Forum room and it was the perfect size for our 125 person wedding. We had Wil as our maitre D and she was very attentive and make sure everything was in place and got done as needed. The Graycliff was amazing and gave us the best wedding we could have asked for!!!

We held our wedding reception at the Graycliff on April 30, 2017. Our friends and family cannot stop raving about this venue; from the cocktail hour, to the food to the impeccable service! John was the best maître d' we could have ever wished for. The staff was so attentive and made sure everything was running smoothly... they also made sure my husband and I had time to eat, and we always had a drink in hand! I could not have imagined a more perfect day. THANK YOU!!!

I can not say enough good things about the graycliff! if you get married there...make sure you have John as your maitre d!! He was absolutely amazing! he anticipated our every need before we even knew we needed it! when i dropped off my decorations i had a very vague directions of where to put things...and john took control and set everything up and it was amazing!!! we received so many compliments on cocktail hour, the food, the decorations, the drinks EVERYTHING! Highly recommend.

We had our reception in the bigger of the two halls, and it was beautiful. We had a big party for our reception, and we actually realized it was going to be bigger than the smaller hall (which we originally booked) would be able to accommodate, and we were able to move to the bigger hall without any trouble. Our maitre'd John was amazing and on top of everything, which made us feel at ease. All of the feedback we got from our friends and family was very positive. I would not hesitate to recommend this place for any event you want to have.

The most amazing Venue!!!!! They made our wedding so memorable. The staff was spectacular, professional, helpful and walked us through everything. Our guests raved about the Cocktail hour and loved the reception party. We loved every minute of our wedding. The food, fire show, viennese table, staff, all were astounding. We wish we could do our wedding all over again. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wedding venue without breaking the bank. Wonderful place!!!!!

My fiancé (now husband) had only been to the graycliff once before we had our wedding, and that was two months before our wedding. We put all of our trust in the reviews, my mother and Alex from ultimate entertainment djs (whom we used). We live in FL and have totally opposite schedules so we were only able to go up once. Ohhh boy am I glad I didn't sweat anything and that we went with the graycliff! Everything was so perfect, we had the best day and night of our lives. The maitre'd John was amazing he was so incredibly nice and helpful with everything. Because we used a vendor they knew it worked out that everyone was comfortable and knew how everyone worked which was great. Our officiant had never been there but she's perfect and she made herself right at home and got comfortable. When we woke up the next day we looked at each other in disbelief at how amazing everyone was and how perfect it all went down. I do not have enough good words for everyone. Both of our families were telling us and our parents that this was the best wedding they've been to in a very long time. We are more than thrilled that everyone including us had a fabulous time

I don't normally review places, but i really had to review this one ..This place is simply AMAZING, I went for a food tasting on February 11, 2016. The policy is for potential clients to taste the food first before signing a contract. Arriving at the Graycliff from the back entrance, doesn't seem all that inviting , but the minute you walk in it is like your in another place. The front desk staff greeted us with open arms and was very responsive to us. Cathy who is the general manager , is simply the best. It was like , she knew everything i wanted before i even opened my mouth. We expressed our budget concerns and that was not a problem at all because she understood. Now, the food tasting , u are allowed to bring up to 6 people , but i only had four, my fiance his mom and my mother. We were full by the end of trying the appetizers. It was so much food for it to be a tasting. The dinner portion was nothing less, the size of the steaks to me were too big for a tasting lol , but they were juicy, tender and flavorful. The actual ballroom , was huge , the only issue my fiance had was the actually dance floor was a little small for him , but you have two hugs gazebo that added to the ballroom. Overall , this place is a diamond in a ruff and it deserves more rating then its actually receiving .

If I could give them more then 5 stars I would. Everyone was great before the event. Then blizzard Jonas hit & almost took my wedding with it. Tony was a god send & I wouldn't have made it through the day without John. I want to have every important event at this place that's how much I love them.

I want to thank the GrayCliff for their wonderful and exceptional service at my wedding on 8/7/2015. Everything exceeded my expectations and more!!! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I couldn't ask for more and couldn't be happier with my wedding reception. My family and friends raved about the venue and how everyone did a wonderful job in making our wedding memorable and enjoyable. I didn't have to worry about one thing! Everything was taken care the right way, the first time! I recommend this venue to anyone who wants a beautiful wedding with no worries!

There isn't a place anywhere around that can compete with this place.... This is hands down the best place to have your reception and ceremony. Even though there aren't many grounds outside for pictures, there is more than enough to work with what is there. .The atrium is beaut

My husband and I got engaged in December 2013 and The Graycliff was one of the first places we thought to look at. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with big smiles and a warm staff. John helped us select our wedding package and helped us decide on all of the details. He was an asset to us during the planning process. He was super kind and amazing help. No matter how many silly questions we may have asked he was always helpful to the very end. The day of our wedding, August 30, 2014, was like a fairytale wedding come to life. Everything was perfect and went off without a hitch. Our maitre'd was the most kind and pleasant person. She made sure that everyone and everything was in place and attended to every one of our needs. The food was amazing, and was there food! Everything was set beautifully and was delicious! The staff at the Graycliff is extremely professional and helpful. A big thanks to the staff at the Graycliff for making our fairytale wedding come true!

We haven't gotten married yet, we searched many places and this by far is one of the nicest in nj, very accomodating as far as money and the place itself. The people are great and they help you so much. They offer a lot of things. We can't wait to enjoy our reception and ceremony here. Lots of food, and the food is amazing. Cocktail hour and alcohol all hours of venue included

I had my wedding here on Oct. 25, 2014. I am SO happy I did! It was really one of the best nights of my life. Everyone was amazing from the moment we checked the place out a year and a half ago. They were so accommodating and really made me excited (not nervous) about how everything was going to turn out. Because of timing with the limos we had to get dropped off at the Greycliff 15 minutes earlier than we were allowed to arrive. The staff could not have be better! They started the bartenders early and started to send out food just for us. I can't say enough positive things about this place. The food was AMAZING! Not one person had a complaint the whole night. And I highly suggest - GO FOR THE FIRE SHOW they give during dessert! It was awesome!

This place could not have been more perfect! I had looked at about 13 venues and the Graycliff was one of the last - I could not have been happier to wait that long before I chose! I really wanted somewhere that brought the outside in, yet was classy and elegant - this place had it all. With the cocktail hour starting in the beautiful Greenhouse which was so gorgeous, then to the Forum for the reception which was the perfect size and perfectly beautiful. Our guests all raved about the attention to detail of all the staff and the quality (and quantity!!) food in both dinner and cocktail hour. John could not have been more sweet and Tony was honestly so fantastic - it's so refreshing seeing an owner so invested! We worked with John from the moment we got there and every meeting, and the fact that he was with us on our special day was even more fantastic, he truly made sure everything went off without a hitch. So flexible, and what a deal! We could not have gotten more for the same price anywhere else, not even close! Honestly, this place was a dream come true - from the first time we visited I could see us having the time of our life there, and got more excited with every visit, and when we were finally there... truly the perfect place for us. Wish our reception could have lasted another 3 hours to enjoy the venue more!!

Long story short - I hope I get to go to someone else's wedding here so I can enjoy the copious amounts of cocktail hour food and the venue without the craziness of it being my own wedding day!!!

Our number one comment from our family and friends was that our wedding was the best they have ever been to! From the food to the service everything was professional. The staff was attentive and friendly! The entire night ran smoothly, we did not have a single thing to worry about!

My experience was absolutely perfect at the Graycliff! Tony and John made sure that every single detail was taken care of for my husband and me, and we were even able to score some time to EAT at the cocktail hour and at dinner! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the unbelievable amount and quality of the food (my flower girl who hopes to grow up and become a food critic was especially fond of the mashed potato bar!) I highly recommend the Graycliff!

I can't express enough how grateful I am that I chose The Graycliff for my wedding venue. To start with, the room (with the built in up lights and decor of the room) look absolutley amazing! Everyone that walked in was taken back at how beautiful the room looked. My colors were purple, silver, and black so we chose the magenta uplights for the beginning of the night. From the food, to the service, to everything in between was just perfect! All of my guests raved about how good the food was, and John, our maître d was just unbeleivable! I had to give him more money at the end of the night because he went above and beyond his call of duty! Everyone at the Graycliff is amazing to work with. We worked closley with Kathy, Tony, Charlie, and John all leading and on the day of our wedding. My husband and I took pictures in the courtyard outside at dusk and they came out breathtaking! Please if you have the opportunity I highly recommend The Graycliff as a wedding venue. Thank you so much for giving me such a positive wedding expereince!

We got married here two weeks ago and cannot say enough about great things about the Graycliff or the staff. From the very beginning, the staff was extremely helpful, and John was absolutely excellent! They treated us like royalty from the time we booked our wedding two years ago up until we left the reception. We could not have asked for a better venue to hold our reception at. This place is absolutely amazing! I love that their main focus is on quality of food because, let's face it, that's what your guests will remember the most! The place is also beautiful and everyone loved the piano playing during our cocktail hour. My guests compliment the quality and variety of food till this day! Highly recommended venue!

My husband and I just got married on June 14th, 2014 and our reception was at the Graycliff, From the first meeting with Cathy, the Banquet Manager, to booking to scheduling the food tasting and cake tasting, all the way up to the actual reception we could not have asked for better service. The entire staff, from Cathy to Tony to John to Charlie, helped us with scheduling our rehearsal dinner on the premises, and made our families feel like all they had to do was have a great time. The food was phenomenal; there are LOTS of choices for cocktail hour and the actual dinner. We had our reception in the Grand Ballroom, with our cocktail hour in the Greenhouse, and they provided us with many options for linen colors, napkin colors, and we were able to design the room however we saw fit. The ballroom is very pretty and spacious. The bartenders were very friendly and the waiters/servers were phenomenal. They, also, did a wonderful job at refunding us money when out of town guests canceled the week of; we called them and they asked us to come in and we had our money back in two days. They were, also, very professional and allowed my grandmother to make my wedding cake; in fact, when we delivered the cake the day before they were incredibly helpful. It was an incredible day, and a HUGE thank you to the Graycliff for their role in it!

The Graycliff was perfect! They worked with us on the flexibility of food, decoration, and the amount of guests (the amount of guests kept fluctuating). The have two weddings at a time, but didn't even notice that there was another party next door. The Graycliff made us feel like we were the only party at the venue. The wait staff were professional and very nice. Our maitre d was a bit too strict, but I guess you need a strict maitre d for the show to run. Thanks Graycliff!

As my husband and I celebrate our first wedding anniversary, we still have many vivid memories of our reception, held at The Graycliff. The venue itself is beautiful and well-kept. The staff are enthusiastic and very responsive. They were excellent at honoring our requests. For example, they made a slight modification in the cocktail hour menu to include foods that represent our cultures. The food was delicious and the music (DJ Alex) was fun and had nearly everyone on the dancefloor. If we had to do it again, we would have definitely chosen The Graycliff for our reception site. :-)

Me and my husband looked at so many places before we decided on the Graycliff and we are so glad we did. Throughout our whole process Cathy was so helpful and when I had questions about something she was quick to respond The whole night was perfect. I was surprised on how fast they changed the room from the ceremony to the reception. The cocktail hour, the main entrée, the fireshow and the venetian hour were perfect. We have people telling us that is one of the best wedding they have been too and we have the Graycliff to thank for that.

The Graycliff was AWESOME! My fiance & I looked into a lot of different places and the Graycliff gives you more for your buck. Cathy sat with us and gave us a good deal and then later delivered some great news for us which made it sweeter! They decorated our ceremony EXACTLY how we pictured it and our reception centerpieces came out better than our mock centerpiece we gave them. John, our maitre d was SUPER-DUPER-ONPOINT-AWESOME! I cannot express how attentive he was to us and our guests, I have no words John, Thank u!Tony, thank u for the comfy ride. To all the bartenders thank u for mentioning our signature drink our guests loved it. The staff that helped make our ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception look AMAZING, and our cooks for the DELICIOUS food GRACIAS! The graycliff was perfect from the moment we walked into the venue on our wedding day to the moment we left. Our maître d was great, he was very attentive throughout the night with anything we needed.

I come from a very Portuguese family, who is very big into food (a lot of it!). The graycliff did not disappoint. We didn't have any complaints, everyone was full and happy. The graycliff even accommodated us with adding in Portuguese desserts and wine!

I would definitely suggest checking them out!

I picked The Graycliff after my friend had you bridal shower there. They gave us a really good deal for the ballroom and were were so excited on how the day turned out! Our maitre d , John, was amazing! He kept us on time for everything, made sure we always had a drink in our hand and took any of our requests! It was really a magical night and all of my guests agree! I would have another event at The Graycliff in a heartbeat :)

The Graycliff furfilled our dreams. We started planning our wedding a year in advance, and visited close to 20 different venues, before entering the Graycliff. We were very skeptical we would ever find the right place. Super clean, new exterior, water fountain, firepits, a small but lovely garden, and very classy decor, The Graycliff won us over. It was honestly a pleasure working with Cathy, she was great. She might as well had served us, as a wedding coordinator. She always made sure to cross her t's and dot her i's, which in turn had our wedding planning right on schedule. Then we were scheduled for a food tasting, boy did that ever seal the deal! Not only was the food superb, but so plentiful. They shared no expense to cater our desires and needs. They are true professionals at The Graycliff, everyone one of them. The entire staff know exactly what to do, what is expected, and are prepared to exceed your expectations. A perfect example our maitre'd, John, he was on point! We truly made us feel that everythign was under control and there was no need for us to worry about a thing. The waitstaff also, was super attentive. We totally recommend this as your venue, and don't forget to get details on the fireshow. (a must have!) Its been close to a month since our wedding and guests are still complimenting us, on how our wedding was the best they had ever been to. I know what your thinking, they had to say that, but no really they said it was! The venue, the staff, the food, the drinks, the dessert, the show, truly exceptional!!!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!!! My husband and I couldn’t have picked a better venue for our reception. The Graycliff did an amazing job with everything from start to finish. I can honestly say not a thing went wrong. They took care of everything. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very attentive and friendly. John, our Maître D, was awesome!!!! He was on top of everything and was extremely attentive. We never had to ask him for anything, he made sure we had everything we needed. We always had a drink waiting for us, and he kept everything coordinated.

The day before our wedding I had dropped off items with specific instruction to Tony and they followed exactly what I had asked. Everyone at The Graycliff is so friendly and genuinely nice to work with. All of our guests had a great time and continue to rave about how good the food was and how beautiful everything turned out. I would definitely recommend The Graycliff, you will not be disappointed!!!

Everyone at the Graycliff was incredibly wonderful they handled everything wonderfully and if there any little mishaps we never knew about them. My husbands daughter wasn't feeling well and they arranged to have a car pick her up and bring her back to the hotel and make sure she arrived safely. There were wonder, John thank you to the entire staff for the start of a great life together. We would definitely recommend the Graycliff to all our friends and family - friends have showed interest in having an event here because of the food and service. I was totally surprised to find out they were taking drink orders at the tables so that our guests could just relax and not stand in those horrible lines at the bar we have all had to endure at any given function.

For the perfect wedding you must book The Graycliff! The quality of food and service was beyond what we expected. Our Maitre D was on top of everything, we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. The Graycliff exceeded our expectations 100 times over! They were all a pleasure to work with from start to finish, especially the matre'd John. The prices are SO reasonable for the quality food, service, and atmosphere you receive there. We had an outdoor wedding ceremony which was wonderful. The venue itself is beautiful, and I just cannot say enough nice things about the service and quality of food at the cocktail hour, reception, and vianese hour. They were so flexible with us during the planning process, and made our wedding day an absolute pleasure. We didn't have to worry about a thing! If you live in the northern NJ or NY area, I HIGHLY recommend this venue! People are still raving about the food and service!

As soon as we arrived they took us to the bridal suite, i was already running late but i wanted to have a pic in our room before all the guest were in there. Even though we were running late they allow us a few minutes for the pictures. Also my husband grandfather was not able to get into the bridal suite but the staff was great and brought them food to their table, even though cocktail hour was over. The room was great, they were able to work with me even 2 days before the wedding when i had to make some sitting changes. Everybody was amazed about the food i had lots of compliments of the good service. They made us feel like royalty. The fire show was great but all the desserts were even better..... Until the very last minute they got in touch with our hotel shuttle.... Amazing i wish i was able to enjoy the cocktail hour but i was running late.... I cant wait to be a guest at one of the Graycliff's wedding. We were also able to use the projector for some pictures with no charge :)

The Graycliff really exceeded all of our expectations. All of our guests loved the food, the service was wonderful, and our maitre d' John was really helpful and courteous. We had a budget that they worked with, but still provided the best service one could expect at their wedding. The statues outside made for some beautiful photos. There were no glitches or anything for our to worry about for our big day, because the staff at the Graycliff took care of everything to perfection. We were really happy to have chosen it as our venue.

My daughter's wedding was perfection from the moment we walked into graycliff. John greeted me at the door, showed me everything set up and took care of everything for us. All night he was checking to make sure we were happy. The service is above and beyond anything you would find anywhere else. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. Anyone even considering going anywhere else should go to a tasting and the decision will be made for them. There is no better food anywhere. The ballroom was also gorgeous. The Graycliff staff, from the Maitre D, the sales office and wait staff are so attentive and helpful in planning. There is not enough great things I can say about them. The Graycliff is 'THE' place to have a wedding.

OMG! in the very best way. We have gotten so many phone calls about how excellent everything was from the service to the food there are not enough good things to say about The Graycliff. Our Maitre D' was fantastic she did not miss anything. The Graycliff should be on the top of your list.

My husband and I are so happy we went with the Graycliff as our venue. The location was perfect. The service was outstanding. From the moment we stepped inside, we had no doubts the Graycliff was for us. Cathy was super nice to work with. Whenever we called with a question, they responded quickly. The food was beyond my expectations. I've been to so many wedding and my biggest concern was the amount of food at the cocktail hour and quality. Well I was not disappointed. Everyone raved about how much food there was at the cocktail hour. The dinner was spectacular as well. Everyone left full! The staff took very good care of us the day of our wedding. Wish I could do it all over again because it was AMAZING! I would highly recommend to any bride looking to get married.

My husband and I just got married on Saturday, June 2. We had the most perfect wedding! The Graycliff made our day the best day of our lives. Our maitre d' John was simply amazing. He was extremely attentive to every single detail and was also very attentive to our families. Everyone I have talked to the night of the wedding and since then keeps raving about the atmosphere and especially the food! They had a great time and I heard several times that it was the best wedding they had been to! A few people are already planning events there since being at our wedding 2 days ago. I don't know why anyone would decide to have their wedding anywhere else. The newly designed outdoor areas are simply breathtaking. We took some photos outside when it got dark and it looked amazing! I can't wait to be invited back as a guest for another occasion. The Graycliff has perfected the art of weddings! Their staff from the minute we visited to plan our wedding, til the end of the night on our wedding day, was always very happy, helpful and friendly. Simply the best :)

My fiance and I held our reception at The Graycliff a few weeks ago. We are so happy we chose them as our reception venue! From the first meeting with them to the night of our wedding, the staff at The Graycliff conducted themselves with professionalism and kindness. They were always there to answer any questions we had along the way as well.

The night of our reception was beautiful. The staff made it so that we didn't have to worry about anything! All that was promised to us, was given.

Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue and and how excellent the food is!

We are so happy to have found them.

Great people. On the day of the wedding, John our Maitre D was so attentive and professional. I can't get over how well he took care of me and my husband on the day of our wedding. We are getting compliments of the food, and ambiance of the venue. So happy with our venue.

The Graycliff was a beautiful place to hold my March wedding. They were so easy to work with and accommodated all of my needs. John, the Maitre'D was so impressive. He was always off to the side and not in the way but the minute I needed something he appeared instantaneously! All of the guests loved the food that was served and the fire show was outstanding.

We had our wedding reception at the Graycliff on 10/21/2011. From start to finish we had a fantastic experience with the Graycliff. We had over 300 people at our wedding and they were able to accommodate (literally) a busload of guests arriving 45 minutes early, serving drinks and putting out food right away. The cocktail hour was amazing, all of our guests (from jaded New Yorkers to our family from Ireland) were blown away by the quality and presentation of the food. Dinner went smoothly start to finish (putting down 314 dinners at once can't be an easy task!!) and the servers were extremely attentive throughout the entire night to both us and our guests. We opted for the Viennese hour for our desserts - again our guests and us were totally blown away by the wide array of desserts, chocolate foundation, and delicious coffee bar.

We took some pictures outside at their picture area - they came out beautiful as this is well landscaped & maintained. The bridal suite was open to us all night and it was so nice to have a private bathroom when you are in your wedding gown. It should also be noted that working with the staff was so easy to plan the wedding - they have so many options at such great values. All of the items that I had delivered ahead of time (guest books, flip flops for the ladies room, table numbers, and other decorations) were set up to my exact specifications and the room looked fantastic.

My husband and I both work in the restaurant business and can be hard to please, but everything was executed flawlessly. We highly recommend the Graycliff for your wedding! Thank you to John (our maitre'd), Kathy, Charlie, and Tony for such an unforgettable...

Everyone at the Graycliff was amazing! So easy to get in touch with and so flexible! They were one of the only vendors that really treated me like a bride and not just a customer! It was their first time doing an all Kosher wedding and they worked with me and stayed open minded throughout the entire planning process. John, our maiter'D was phenomenal! He never got upset with me calling every day and he made everything run so smoothly. If anything went wrong, I had no idea... he handled everything! I never had to look for him and he was always at the right place at the right time. Kathy and Tony in the office were also so great to work with as well as the waiters! Bravo Graycliff for a wedding well done! All my guests were amazed with the venue! I would recommend this venue to everyone!!!

my wedding reception was AMAZING....the staff were on point with everything...the matire D made sure we were happy and was around us the whole night asking us if we need anything and if we did he did it right away...the food was out of this world....cocktail hour, dinner and dessert were unbelievable...everyone loved the place, food and service...i would def recommend the graycliff in the future

Everyone at the Graycliff was very accomodating and helpful. If I called with a question it was answered on the spot and when I dropped off items prior to the ceremony the Director and an associate took the time to go over the items in detail so we were all on the same page. The Maitre'd assigned to my wedding, Wil, was absolutely amazing! She wrangled and coordinated me, my husband, our families, the guests, the photographer & videographer and never broke a sweat! Food was amazing, and we had a wonderful night! A+++

We had our wedding 4-30-2011 in the Grand Ballroom. There are not enough nice amazing words we can say....absolutely amazing. Our Maiter"d John was spectacular and truly made our wedding one to remember. We saw our guests jaws drop when the fireshow/grand finale came out...priceless!!! And the lighting and candelabras made it look so elegant!!!!

I just found this website and HAD to write a review on all my vendors. I got married back in 2009 at the Graycliff but they were wonderful to work with. I went to many different venues but the moment i walked into the ballroom at the Graycliff i was blown away and knew right then and there i wanted to have my wedding in that room. Everyone worked with me through out the entire process. When we were doing our seating i would email them and received quick responses from Mary and another woman but i can't remember her name. They both were awesome! The day of our wedding went very smoothly. Everyone still talks about how amazing the cocktail hour food was and how much there was! The dinner was awesome and the dessert fireshow was the best many people have seen in a very long time. I can't wait until someone else i know has a wedding there!

Above and beyond wonderful! We only accidentally happened to stop at the Graycliff while we were looking for venues and fell in love. Initially we didn't want to stop there because the price they quoted was out of our budget. However, another venue cancelled on us and we had extra time so we stopped there. We were so impressed by the amount of food and services that are included in that price; it was hard to find anything that could compete. After booking, we worked with almost everyone on the staff since we're from OOT and had to do most of the planning by phone. Kathy did most of the coordinating pre-wedding and Mary was our Maitre'D. Both ladies were absolutely amazing. Mary kept everything in line and was always making sure we were having a great time. We asked for 2-3 items in the bridal suite for just DH and I to have 15-20 minutes of alone time before we joined the cocktail hour and they put about 6 trays up there with many different things from the cocktail hour. We were pleased. When the chocolate fountain came out, the chocolate lover in me made a bee-line for it and of course got chocolate on my dress. Mary was right there... like she knew I was going to do that! Perfect timing. Honestly, I'm not the bride to get upset over a little chocolate but it really helped to have her right there. Kathy helped with most of the stuff leading up to the day. When we almost didn't make our minimum, they were very flexible with us with options. She helped me with seating and arranging guests so the room looked perfect. We never had a problem at all, and everyone was such a pleasure to work with. At the reception, we ordered one each of the entrees (chicken, fish, steak) and were actually able to eat because of the service the Graycliff gave.

Can only say good things about the Graycliff. They did a great job working with us coming up with a menu and were willing to order items from outside vendors to meet our requests, they also have a great variety of food choices to choose from to fit our tastes. I continue to get compliments from guests about the food and the location. The staff at the Graycliff are great to work and you will do anything to make the bride and groom happy.

We had our wedding reception here, and everything was amazing. We were hooked at the tasting! The food is incredible and they even provided some special dishes upon request. They customized the ice sculpture (I hate swans and hearts - they replicated our monogram PERFECTLY) and working with them meant we got a cake included, a delicious cake from Palermo's. We also got a great deal on the limo services (Town Limousine) by working with them.

Book the Grand Ballroom - the Bridal Suite is much better, and a better, more dramatic entrance with the gazebo (and the DJ gets nicely tucked away into the other gazebo, out of the guests' way). And the fire show is spectacular, you've got to have it as your grand finale!

Every single guest raved about the reception location. Absolutely perfect choice, you will not go wrong!

The Graycliff is the absolute best choice for a wedding. They were the first venue we went to after I'd been to 3 christenings and several other events there. They encouraged us to look at other vendors so that we would be comfortable with our choice and they were right. We came right back to them and had the wedding of our dreams. Their staff was so on top of things that day. They made sure everything went smoothly. The food was phenomenal. Everyone said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding and the service is unbeatable. The Graycliff really did create the wedding of my dreams!!!

Just go book them and invite me to your wedding! From displays to the food/drinks to the attention, they made us and our guests feel incredibly special on our wedding day.
