I could not recommend more! The entire Grands team was amazing to work with from start to finish! Joe (general manager) gave us an in-depth tour and made sure we knew all of our options. Mel (events director) made sure we stayed on track with timeline and choosing all the details. Larry (entertainment director) made sure our guests had the best time - I don't think the dance floor was ever empty! And we can't forget about Alyssa (day of coordinator) - she made sure the team had us covered in ways we would have never thought. She made the day stress-free, which was a dream! All of our guests had a great time and couldn't stop talking about how great the venue and team were. 100/10 recommend having your wedding at The Grands! -

Would highly, highly recommend the Grands! They make planning a breeze and they take such good care of you on the actual wedding day. My husband and I were able to enjoy the day and not feel stressed or overwhelmed. :) -

The Grands at Mulligans was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The staff were absolutely wonderful to work with and always made themselves available to answer any and all questions. The day of the wedding went perfectly. The day of coordinator was the sweetest and so utterly helpful. She kept everything moving along and it took so much pressure off my shoulders. I would recommend Mulligans to absolutely EVERYONE!! We are so grateful!!! -

The Grands at Mulligans was the absolute PERFECT wedding venue. Everything from the venue to the outdoor ceremony space was beautiful. The best part of this venue is the staff. From the moment we toured, to booking the venue, to the food tasting to the big day -- the staff were so kind and extremely helpful. I had ZERO stress on my big day because the Grands staff was on top of literally everything. It was so nice to have everything donee through the grands (food, entertainment, etc.) as this made wedding planning and communication so easy.
The food at the grands was amazing. We heard from several guests that it was the best wedding meal that they have ever had.
The reception was incredible. The grands provides you with a DJ and meets with you ahead of time to plan music you want and don't want - we have also been told by multiple guests that our dance was the most fun wedding dance they have ever been to and I have to give credit to the grands entertainment! -

The Grands at Mulligans was 10/10 for our wedding
My husband and I had a really great experience with the Grands at Mulligans for our wedding. From our first tour, Joe was so welcoming and friendly, never pushy. I emailed Mel probably once a month, if not more, leading up to our wedding with a laundry list of questions and she always answered them quickly, usually same day. We met one of their in-house DJs, DJ Blakk, at our food tasting and instantly knew we wanted him at our wedding. He kept the dance floor packed all night long and really read the room on what kind of music to play! Alyssa and Joe were absolutely amazing the day of our wedding too- they were so organized and everything was in place! We hired day of coordinators but they were not needed with how much the Grands took care of absolutely everything. We also found the Grands to be very affordable compared to other venues in the cities. Every fee was transparent and we didn't end up being charged any fee we didn't know about up front. We had a Friday wedding (which I highly recommend!) so we saved even more money and we were able to get in the day before to decorate. The shuttle to the hotels was also fantastic and took multiple trips to get all of our (drunk) guests home safety. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for their big day! -

The best day of our lives
Everything about this venue is incredible. Our day went perfectly and wouldn’t have changed one second of it. The staff is amazing, food even more amazing, and personally my favorite the Willow Tree made our first look and golden hour INCREDIBLE. we are so glad we chose the Grands -

Years back I attended a wedding at The Grands and from then on I knew I wanted my wedding there! Being able to book the ceremony, DJ, food, décor, and coordinator all in one place was stress free! Joe and Mel we're amazing and helped me through the whole process. And Larry made sure all of my DJ requests were there and ready! The "cloud dance" is an absolute MUST! It sets your first dance apart from every other one you've seen! They have an on site day of coordinator who helped us so much that day! She made sure everyone was in their spot and timing was perfect. She even brought us through the kitchen when I needed to be out of sight from guests that were arriving early. The price is actually so good for how much you get. It seems like it adds up quickly but knowing I only had to deal with a couple vendors because The Grands does so much was a huge weight lifted. The food is absolutely perfect! We had the Boursin Chicken and it was mouth watering (which is hard to do when its wedding chicken). And the torte cake is beyond expectations! We requested both the chocolate and raspberry flavors and everyone loved them. They also let me have my pup on the day of (outside) and we requested to get into the building an hour earlier and they were able to accommodate us for a small fee.
My one regret is that I should have hired a clean up crew. I felt a bit overwhelmed when I realized the "getting ready area" had to be cleaned up before the first dance. Our families had to get up before dessert and had zero time to truly mingle with extended family and friends. And that goes along with needing everything out the night of. I totally understand why but it just isn't ideal when your trying to have fun. Everyone is just grabbing a box, or décor and throwing it in a truck without any order. Again, just another time where your feeling more stressed than you need to.
All in all, our day was beyond perfect. We had mimosas and beer the morning of and the staff is so friendly and straight to business. When you need something they got you! The bartending staff is quick and efficient and we didn't end up with an astronomical bill at the end of the night because they knew what they were doing! Just a huge thumbs up for The Grands at Mulligans! -

Gorgeous venue, amazing food (including cake) and phenomenal staff! The Grands took the stress out of planning our wedding. If you are looking for an all in one venue, looking no further! No vendor concerns here with their in house chef, entertainment, event coordinator and day of coordinator. Our wedding day went so smooth that we didn't have single concern or worry! -

From our first interaction with the grands, we knew this was where we wanted our wedding to be! Everything about the planning process was so smooth and intuitive, and Clare and Mara were so responsive and helpful leading up to the big day. That support really helped lessen the stress of the entire process! When the big day arrived, we were able to get into the venue early and just enjoy the entire day. Any issues throughout the day were calmly and quickly taken care of. The food and our DJ were amazing at the reception and our guests could not stop talking about either! There isn't a single part of the day that we would have wanted to go differently! -

Everything was perfect! Didn't have to worry about the details, they took carw of everything! The food, dance and ceremony was amazing, and all in one spot!! We saved a lot of money doing a Friday in the Winter! -

The day went off without a hitch - other than the weather (LOL) but truly everything was absolutely beautiful, the food was great, the DJ was spectacular and the bar service was top notch! During the planning process Mel was also very responsive to my email questions - don't be afraid to ask! Sometimes I felt like I shouldn't send anything but you are planning a wedding - there are things you need to know, so ask! She was always happy to help!
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they give you a day of coordinator - which truly is great, they keep your timeline on schedule, fluff your dress before you walk down the aisle, all the things! But, I didn't get to talk with or meet the coordinator until noon the day of my wedding. Hair and Make up was wrapping up and my photographer had just arrived so it was a hectic moment when we met, and since we hadn't spoken ahead of time I had no idea what I could expect from her. I had my aunts come early to light candles and turn on fairy lights as well as set up cupcakes. All of these things are things my coordinator took care of, but since we hadn't spoken before I truly didn't know what I could expect from that position so I think it would be beneficial to at least have a quick phone call with your coordinator like the week leading up to the wedding.
Truly though an (almost) 1 stop shop for your wedding in all the best ways! It is so nice to have so many vendors IN HOUSE and relieves so much stress while planning! If I could do anything over again differently, it would just be the weather!
PS -- I did a full building rental -- if you can make your guest list work to have the ceremony on the ballroom and party in the lodge - DO IT! The lodge is ALL THE RIGHT VIBES! -

Whitney Sent on 05/02/2013Very nice establishment, BUT when we signed the contract we were in the belief that reaching the allotted minimum spending would have been hard to reach. Turns out that we went almost $4000 OVER the original price we had thought.
Hidden charges left and right that were not expected, not even close to worth it renting this venue.
