McKinnell-McCluskey Wedding
I would highly recommend wedding at The Grand. The staff was very attentive and professional. This was for my son's wedding to my new daughter n Law. We had several issues not on their part but our part that they helped us resolved quickly. Biggest issue an arch was forgotten and we were to provide. After expense of florals for an Arch, we need the Arch. Shannon helped us procure an Arch that afternoon 3 hours prior to wedding and it was delivered timely and assembled ahead of promised time. Shannon was there every step of the way to help us with all our needs. Shannon and her team (particularly Leighton) made everything seamless and unforgettable for all us, there is not enough words I can say to express my gratitude. Particularly the bride and groom. They were unaware of any issues. Thank you to Shannon and Leighton for all you did to make this day beautiful. Shannon was even very supportive for this momma that had to put on a smile all day when heart was breaking inside because my son's sister, brother n law and niece could not attend and participate because of COVID. I cannot thank you enough for all your support through out day to keep me together. -

Incredible!
The minute we walked in to the center we knew we wanted to get married there. I love how the pricing is transparent and per person! We invited 260 people and had 200 attend so this was the perfect space to accommodate all of us. I can’t say enough good things about Shannah. Her guidance and recommendations helped so much! I was a little bummed about not getting to use the gorgeous courtyard since it was 30 degrees the day of our wedding but it was still a great place for photos they look magical! -

We got married on July 30th and could not have been happier with our venue choice!! Shannah and Leighton were wonderful to work with and the day went so smoothly. The food was delicious, the ballroom is stunning, and our guests loved using the patio too! On the day of we felt so taken care of and all the little details were handled for us. Every guest we have talked to can't say enough about how great the venue was and how well the day went! Justin and I are SO grateful to the staff and would recommend the venue to anyone looking in the Columbus area. -

Simply the best!
Our wedding was four months ago, and people are STILL talking about it!! I can’t think of a more amazing venue to host the absolute best days of our lives! The team was perfection, and made our day smooth and stress free! We planned this wedding from out of state, but we never felt like that was an issue. The Grand worked tirelessly to make our long distance vision come to life… how they made it look effortless, I will never know.
First, I would like to give a shout out to our coordinator. I can’t imagine what this wedding would have been like without Shannah Paddock… if you work with her, you will NOT be disappointed! Shannah made everything easy as could be, her creativity was out of this world, and her design was on point! And if you need a surprise prop (or your favorite cereal) during the speech portion of the night, she’s your gal! She was definitely made for this job and will work with the top notch team to make all the things come together better than imagined!
From the cocktail hour space to the reception to the outdoor patio, believe me when I say it will surpass everything you’ve been hoping for for your wedding! I only wish I could attach a picture of my face when we first saw the space for the first time because it would explain it all!
I’m a firm believer wedding food can make or break the mood for the night… and the food here was to die for! I cannot stress enough how wonderful Chef Collins did! I still dream of eating our wedding dinner over and over and over… this was yet another thing our guests raved about! No one left hungry, but everyone left wanting more!
Lastly, having a hotel attached to your venue was probably the smartest thing we could have done… other than getting married! It was so nice to be able to eat, drink and walk/stumble back to the room to continue the party! More convenient than you could imagine!
I cannot thank The Grand Event Center enough for everything they did for us… it was a day to remember, and I shall be recommending them to anyone who will listen!

Amazing experience!
Me and my husband just got married on 6.11.22 at the Grand Event Center. I truly cannot say enough good things! We got so many compliments from our guests that were saying it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. The venue itself was gorgeous. The weather held out so we were able to utilize both inside and the outside courtyard. The food was beyond amazing as well! Normally you get wedding food and it’s just “eh” but I’m telling you the food was 5 stars! Shannah, our event coordinator was also so amazing! I can be very scatter brained when I start to get stressed and she kept me on track throughout the whole process and was so helpful! I am so happy we got married here. I 10/10 recommend to any future couples! -

I can't say enough about how amazing our reception was at this venue! Shannah and the whole team are great to work with. The food is amazing, and there is a decor meeting a few days before the wedding where you talk about how you want the space decorated and hand over all your stuff - the whole team takes care of it and you don't have to lift a finger!
Our guests were so impressed as well and could not stop talking about how great the food was. Also, the beer selection is great! They have local/craft options, which I didn't see at any of the other venues we checked out. -

The Grand Event Center was absolutely AMAZING to work with for our June wedding! We originally planned to use their venue for our reception in 2020, but had to postpone due to covid. Kate helped us reschedule our wedding to 2021 flawlessly. She and her team did a fantastic job at ensuring every detail was considered and every question (I had A LOT of questions!) were answered. The staff working the event made all of our guests feel welcomed and relaxed throughout our reception. Shannnah made sure our decor was perfect and everything the day of was exactly what we envisioned. We are so happy we chose The Grand Event Center! -

The Grand Event Center
We loved working with the GEC during our wedding planning process. Even with having a COVID wedding, Kate helped bring our perfect wedding vision to life. She worked with us through the entire process and constantly contacted me with information/changes that I would need to know. I felt relaxed and excited during the wedding planning process because Kate and the staff at the GEC were awesome. I highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding. Also, our guest LOVED the food. We have gotten many compliments on how good it was! Overall, we had a great experience and we are so happy we choose The Grand Event Center for our wedding. -

The food was delicious! Our guests loved being able to stay at the hotel right next door, and having Hofbrau Haus as an easy after-party location.

Every detail was perfect, Caroline took care of the the room set up, event timing and made sure each of my guests had a memorable fun evening! The Chef and kitchen put out delicious Short Ribs and Sea Bass feast. The Grand Event Center is beautiful backdrop to an amazing party!

Abby Sent on 09/08/2018I am so glad we chose "The Grand Event Center" for our venue for our August wedding! This venue had everything we were looking for: location, connected to a hotel, had catering on site, and had a team of dedicated professionals to make sure everything was taken care of! Caroline was a pleasure to work with, she was very quick on communication and she helped make our ideas a reality. We knew we were in good hands with her! I loved being able to use all of the wonderful spaces at The Grand Event Center had to offer (ballroom, atrium/pre-fuction room, etc), and being able to use the courtyard for our cocktail hour was just perfect! The food was incredible (we got so many compliments) and the bar service was excellent. The staff there were very attentive and so professional, everything went perfectly. My only comment was that we had to be out of the space by midnight, so the end of our reception was a little rushed. While they did let us go over a few minutes, it would have made the evening even better if we didn't have to pack up so quickly after the reception was over. Other than that- everything was great! I would highly recommend The Grand Event Center for a full-package wedding venue! Thank you for making our wedding so special! -

The entire team at The Grand Event Center was incredible! The year leading up to the wedding was so smooth thanks to the planning resources they provided. Shannah really helped our vision come to life, including the things we wanted that made the wedding uniquely "ours" and not always the standard requests (a huge cookie table and late night pizza, for example).
Their team really took the stress off of Mike and me and I was absolutely blown away with how the venue looked on our wedding day. It was everything we could have dreamed of and they even brought some desserts up to our room so that we could share a special moment after the reception was over.
The guests still rave about the food and the service they received. The waitstaff, bartenders, and coordinators were better than at any wedding I've attended in the past. I can't say enough good things about our experience. The Grand Event Center made our day perfect. -
