We had the most perfect wedding with our closest friends and family. Everyone at the Inn were so kind, helpful, thoughtful, & they truly made out wedding dreams come true. We were able to make it a weekend getaway by having our family stay at the Inn with us for the entire weekend. Highly recommend. -

We had an absolutely incredible experience having our wedding at the goldenrod country inn. We currently live across the country and despite planning from afar-everything was handled perfectly. Eric answered all my questions in the months and days leading up to our big day and he assisted with vendor coordination as well which was a huge help. We even had a fiasco with our seating chart display and he quite literally gave us a solution for it and then physically put it together for us. His assistance was monumental in ensuring a smooth wedding day. We could not be more grateful.
Ourselves and our family rented out the inn rooms upstairs, they were beautiful and cozy to celebrate our weekend. We also loved the shared space for guests to spend time together. Additionally, the home made breakfasts were delicious!
Eric and the rest of the team were incredible to work with and their hospitality was unmatched. We were married on a beautiful fall day under their wooden pavilion and opted to have an indoor reception. We did a buffet for dinner (delicious) and had ample options for food (with local ingredients!) and created a fall signature drink for our guests as well. Our guests traveled from all over the country and we got lots of compliments on how great the inn was. Everything was seamless, we could go on and on about our experience-if you are looking for a small venue close to Northampton or the Berkshires we HIGHLY recommend the Goldenrod Country Inn!! -

Ideal intimate wedding location
After stopping by on a June day last summer, my husband and I knew that this was where we wanted to have our small, intimate wedding. We fell in love with the tavern before we saw anything else. Eric was a pleasure to deal with, between setting up our meetings and taking care of last-minute menu requests. When it was GO–Time, Eric reached out to ensure he had all our vendor contacts so that no one would need to bug me the day off with transport questions or any needs in the venue.
Our wedding party booked up each room at the Inn so when I arrived the day off, we had a free run of the entire upstairs. There was even a separate getting-ready room for our family to relax on couches as my wedding party got ready with mimosas and a record player we regrettably didn’t use. The guest rooms were beautiful, offered great spaces to get our “getting ready” shots, and were an all-around hit to our parents and friends staying.
Our food was delicious, one of the biggest reasons we chose them, and we were able to customize things to our needs and wants. No one left hungry which was one of my top priorities. Since we frequented the tavern in the year leading up to the wedding date, we knew exactly what we liked and trusted that one of their newer items we hadn't tasted yet--the lamb meatballs--would be fantastic.
The team at the Goldenrod just made everything such a wonderful experience—from helping a last-minute bride to hatching backup plans for photos/ceremony/ etc as unexpected rain storms came through. I cannot say enough about how well everything was handled and how there was not a single issue that made its way to me throughout the night. Not only can I recommend the Goldenrod Inn for great food, but also for a unique intimate wedding spot. -
