What can't I say about this place! Firstly, we had a wonderful planning experience, we felt completely taken care of and listened to. All of our questions were answered, all our thoughts were honored. And all our dreams and ideas came to life to create an absolutely perfect wedding day and experience! This venue has some seriously wonderful staff, shoutouts to Shana, Leslie, Maki, and Reegan. It also has a lot of its own elegance and beauty and doesn't even need much dressing up or decoration! It truly is an all-inclusive venue that thinks of everything needed to create amazing events day after day. Some highlights that would make us recommend this to anyone are its historic charm, its hidden bar room, its attached inn (and gorgeous rooms), and genuinely the most gorgeous chandelier that makes for the absolute best photos!!

grew up down the street from Glen Sanders and it is so special that I now get to say that I also got married there. This venue provides the ideal guest experience as it feels like your own private mansion for the day. The bridal suite and man cave are the perfect setting to get ready for your big day and the rest of the mansion is full of neutral colors and bright light. Guests are able to stay on site at the inn and so could we and this was a huge plus. The staircase and chandelier are something out of a fairytale. Glen Sanders provided top notch service and does their best to take the stress off your shoulders leading up to the big day and day of. They are a well oiled machine. Maki was my amazing bridal attendant and she somehow was able to anticipate my needs before I even was. Shana was also a joy to work with and always very prompt with her responses and answering my many questions. Leslie was our event manager day off and she had everything under control. The food was yummy, especially all the appetizers and so helpful that the staff give you plenty of options for the bride and groom to ensure you actually eat your wedding food. Also, I wish Mazzone had a bakery that we could purchase cakes from any day because our vanilla and strawberry preserves wedding cake was delectable! The staff day of was attentive and friendly. I would recommend Glen Sanders Mansion 10/10 for anyone looking for a venue. I just wish that the restaurant from many years ago was open so we could visit on our anniversary. Maybe something to consider in the future

My husband and I had the pleasure of getting married at Glen Sanders on 10/13/23. One of the features of this venue that secured our decision, was the convenience factor. We had approximately 210 guests attend and being able to get ready in the bridal suites and man cave, host the ceremony, reception/cocktail hour, afterparty AND accommodate lodging for our bridal parties + families (17 people), made things much more streamlined. In addition, since Mazzone owns the venue, having them cater the food allowed us to “bundle” the costs of food, alcohol and venue. This is a beautiful venue as well. They took measures to make sure their landscaping and outward/inward appearance were perfect, prior to the wedding.
Preparations- once we had chosen Glen Sanders as our venue, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Katie R as our sales planner. I can’t convey enough how helpful she was throughout the entire process, prior to the wedding. She helped us choose our menu based on a target per head price and customize it as requested, coordinate and organize all details regarding the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, coordinate with some of our vendors, but most importantly answered every question we had with patience, speed and effectiveness. She was incredibly organized and it helped keep track of the million details at play.
Day of- In addition Glen Sanders provides an event manager, who helps with the setup of all décor, the rehearsal, coordinating background details for event staff, facilitated progression of bridal party on the day of for pics/introductions/processions/etc. We worked with Leslie P, who has a wealth of knowledge about everything Glen Sanders, having worked there for 20+ years. She was thorough, present, patient, pleasant and helpful, with everything the day prior to and the day of the wedding.
Lastly Glen Sanders ALSO provides a day of attendant, we worked with Maki. Maki also has a wealth of knowledge regarding bustling dresses and the inner workings of weddings at Glen Sanders. She served to assist with anything my husband or I needed throughout the day of the wedding. This included bustling my dress as well as fluffing it, holding flowers and my dress during picture changes, getting us food/drinks, and much more. Maki was an absolute sweetheart as well and made things go incredibly smoothly.
Food- coming from an enormous Italian family, it was essential that the food was tasty. We had the 3 stations and 3 hand passed bites- all delicious and replenished throughout cocktail hour. People loved the dinners as well as the cake!
Lodging- we worked with Jennifer for lodging at GSM and she was incredibly helpful. We made so many changes throughout and she was accommodating throughout! In addition, the rooms were reasonably priced and spacious/beautiful/ very clean. They have an awesome breakfast nook to curb the hangover the following morning 😊.

The team at Glen Sanders were amazing from start to finish. From the first tour we had we knew it was the place we wanted to book. During the planning stages, the team was quick to respond to any questions or comments we had and were helpful when it came down to advising on their experiences with vendors when we have a hard time narrowing down. They were very collaborative with food and design choices and gave amazing input to our ideas to take them to the next level.

Our wedding day itself went so smoothly and not a single thing was out of place or veered away from what plans we had set. The entire staff waited on us and out guests hand and foot and everything came out more beautiful than I could have imagined. While we were getting ready, they assisted all of the vendors allowing us to have a calm/no stress morning. Our bridal attendant, Maki, was top notch and literally took care of everything for myself, my husband and our bridal party. If we needed a tissue, she had it already in her hand. If we were low on a drink, before we could think to ask, she was right there with a fresh one.

We have still been receiving rave reviews on the food and experience from our guests. We could not be happier!

The staff at Glen Sanders Mansion went above and beyond to make our wedding planning process and wedding day incredible. My guests continue to rave about the service that they all provided. I cannot thank them all enough for everything! The venue itself is fully updated and GORGEOUS! My husband and I would recommend every one of our friends/family members to use Glen Sanders for any future weddings/events!

Glen Sanders is such an amazing venue. Our day was beyond perfect from start to finish. The staff is so friendly and are willing to help with anything all day and night. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married.

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. The outside ceremony was amazing and the reception was so beautiful. We knew as soon as we walked into Glen Sanders that it was the perfect place for us! Everyone was sp helpful and kind.

This venue is a true hidden gem. It was an absolute DREAM to have our wedding reception here. We are from out-of-state and so we were looking for a venue large enough for our family & one that offered onsite lodging. The rooms at the inn are incredible and feel like a five-star hotel. I absolutely loved being able to have access to the pub after the reception to spend more time with our family & bridal party. Our wedding guests were in complete awe of the entire venue! The team that work here are AMAZING. I personally want to thank Gabriela the event planner at Glen Sanders – you were so incredible & made the process very easy, despite being in a pandemic. You made us feel so special and like we were the only couple you were working with. Thank you to the entire team that helped put on our wedding. I wish I could relive the day over & over. We 100% plan to book an anniversary trip to spend more time in the Inn!

I always knew I wanted to get married at Glen Sanders. When I first toured the venue with Gabrielle I was set, I wanted to have my wedding there. What really sold my husband was that everything is included. Between the food, wedding cake, and open bar, he was sold. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather and were able to get married outside. The staff is exceptional and everyone was so kind on our wedding day. I had my own bridal attendant who literally helped me with everything, between bustling my dress, and helping me change my shoes between the ceremony and reception. From the minute I arrived at 6am with all the decorations, everything was taken care of. The bridal party got ready upstairs in the hospitality suite and my suite for the night was right next door which made it easy to store things and go back and forth. We took most photos in my suite and they came out great. My husband and groomsmen all got ready downstairs in the man cave which was located in the basement nowhere near the girls getting ready. Everything was planned and went smoothly. Gabriella was the one who helped us from the start and she was so great to work with always answering any questions we had at any time. We paid extra for the ballroom to have a light backdrop and ceiling swag and it just made the room even more beautiful. Everything about this day and this venue were perfect.

I would describe Glen Sanders as running like a well oiled machine! They knocked it out of the park, and we had an amazing day. From our first tour, to planning, to the day of our November 2021 wedding, the staff kept us on time and everything flowing smoothly. I can't recommend the entire team at Glen Sanders enough. I loved our food and cake, and also appreciated that they set aside appetizers and drinks for us during cocktail hour as well. They were super accommodating with dropping off decor and wedding items ahead of time, so everything just felt so easy and we were just able to enjoy the day. I have heard nothing but good things from all our guests as well, everyone loved the food, drinks, and just had a great time at our wedding. Thank you Gabriela, Jessica, Katie, Maki, and all of the other staff members at GS!

We cannot say enough great things about Glen Sanders as a wedding venue. After being the guests at a wonderful wedding there in 2017, it was one of the first venues that we looked at and it was the best decision we made! The whole team at Glen Sanders is just amazing. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating when we decided to changed our date due to the pandemic. We worked with Gabriela throughout the planning process and she was so organized, professional, knowledgeable, and such a kind person to work with. The wedding day went so smoothly thanks to such an amazing staff. We truly felt like everyone we worked with genuinely wanted our wedding to be a perfect day. Do not hesitate to book your wedding at Glen Sanders!

From the second we walked into the Glen Sanders Mansion for our tour we knew it was the perfect spot to host our wedding reception. The beautiful ballroom, picturesque cocktail room on the river and the spacious outdoor patio is the perfect location for wedding receptions. Not to mention the newly renovated lobby with a beautiful staircase and updated guest rooms. Having the Lounge restaurant/bar at the glen sanders was so perfect for guests looking to hang out between the ceremony and cocktail hour, and we were able to move back down into the lounge following the reception for an after party! All of our guests loved the outdoor area as well. Gabriela was amazing throughout the entire planning process, and made rescheduling (twice due to covid!) simple and stress free. Liz was fantastic the day of and made sure our reception ran so smoothly. My mom and I were so concerned with how long it would take to bustle my train but Maki bustled it within a few minutes and was so helpful throughout the day making sure I had everything I needed. Everything was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision to have our reception at the Glen Sanders and would recommend that everyone check out the Glen Sanders for any event they are looking to host!

Let me start by saying I have wanted to get married at this place since I was old enough to start planning my wedding. The revamp that the mansion has received in the past few years was amazing and it gave a modern but still classic feel to our ceremony. We were married in the mansion lobby, which looks nothing like a lobby. Coincidentally, our wedding colors (dusty blue, white & gold) worked very well with the new interior decor they had.

2 staff members were assigned to our wedding and they were amazing. You would not believe how thirsty you can get during pictures etc. but the staff kept me and my husband hydrated. I drink a ton of water so this was awesome in my mind :)
Glen Sanders runs like a military operation. Everyone as thier job, they do it well and they work as a team to run a flawless operation. I felt relieved to hand over the reins to them on the day of the wedding. I got to fully immerse myself in my wedding and enjoy every part of it.

The newly renovated Glen Sanders Mansion is absolutely gorgeous and very accommodating. After a previous venue closed due to Covid and poor management, Mazzone Hospitality suggested the mansion as they are already affiliated. They made the switch as seamless as possible and even kept the same contract for catering without bumping up the price. The service was exceptional and any need was taken care of. Jessica is literally incredible and made sure everything went of as perfectly as possible. Maki was my bridal attendant and wow I can’t say enough about her! She would anticipate any need I had and always had a drink ready, she even made sure to take care of my Nan! The mansions hotel rooms were gorgeous, they have a hair and makeup salon there, (the Jens did amazing work!), outdoor ceremony space and a stunning ballroom. It is all inclusive and made getting ready so easy! Can’t recommend this venue enough. The Mansion and Mazzone are top notch.

We both loved the venue after our first visit. We had our ceremony in the lobby and the fire place was a beautiful backdrop. Gabriella and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and did everything they could to give us a perfect wedding even with Covid-19 restrictions

Our wedding was postponed due to COVID-19, which Glen Sanders continued to work with us around. We had postponed from April to the end of July - COVID-19 was still a problem, but things had reopened a bit. Glen Sanders and Gabriella worked with us to plan a day that would be SAFE and beautiful. They waved the minimum amount of people, they made sure sanitation was up to snuff, and the food was amazing! They really helped make a beautiful day out of a crappy situation! I didn't have to worry about much of anything, as the coordinated with everyone!

The Glen Sanders Mansion is the most beautiful wedding venue! With recent renovations, the lobby and staircase became the focal point of my pictures and ceremony. The entire place was breathtaking! The team of people I worked with to make my wedding so special were also amazing! Maria and Andrea helped plan my day and provided advice and answered any questions that I had. Leslie was the event manager who ran our rehearsal and was there for us throughout the day of our wedding. She was so nice and helped make everything run so smoothly. Every single staff member from the first day we visited the mansion throughout the morning after our wedding was extremely accommodating, so nice and kind, helpful, and got us and our family anything we needed. I was so happy and not stressed throughout the entire process because I knew I was in such good hands.
We were able to get ready in their beautiful hospitality suite and Mohawk room, had our ceremony in the lobby, the reception in the ballroom and after party in The Lounge downstairs! Where else are you able to have all of that in one place?!
I also loved the fact that not only my husband and I were able to stay at the mansion, but there were 17 rooms that my bridal party and close family were able to stay in. The innkeeper, Cara, was so nice and helpful. She was beyond accommodating and even ran out to get gluten free muffins and bread for our aunt!

The Glen Sanders Mansion was amazing and if you are looking for a beautiful, newly renovated venue with an amazing view, amazing and accommodating staff and a stress-free experience, you need to book your wedding there! I definitely recommend!

The best word to describe our experience with The Glen Sanders Mansion and every single person we encountered during the process is perfection. We had the pleasure of working with Samantha, Maria, and Andrea during our planning process, with Andrea focused on the final months and details. At our final meeting, we were impressed with our day-of coordinator (event manager), Lesley’s amount of detail, dedication to understanding how we wanted our wedding to flow, and ensuring every detail was addressed. Each item we requested set up by GSM was in its exact spot, even better than we imagined. When it came time to the reception, Lesley did an amazing job of coordinating with all of our vendors, communicating with us, and allowing us to have a stress-free, ahead of schedule, absolute blast at our wedding. Day of, we were lucky to work with Kiersten as our Bridal Attendant. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us, helped set up the hospitality suite upstairs, and made sure everyone in our party was well fed and hydrated. Throughout the course of the night, Kiersten was always present, yet invisible. She would magically appear with a drink when you were thirsty, some food when you were hungry, and ask what else she could do to make the night even better. In terms of service for our guests, Raz was the service captain for the waiters. After talking to our guests, every filet was perfectly seasoned and cooked, every meal was served on time and hot, and there was not a single hiccup all night. Cocktail hour food and drinks were beautifully displayed, delicious and between the beautiful patio overlooking the river and the option of having overflow to the lobby in front of the new gorgeous fireplace, there was plenty of tables and seating for our 200+ guests to sit and eat their food. The guests and us were impressed with how delicious the cake was and decorated perfectly as to our requests. We highly recommend GSM if you want a beautiful, stress-free wedding where you want your guests to rave about the food, drink, and service. After the recent renovations, the ballroom looks amazing, the bars were painted white for a fresh modern look, and the new foyer, staircase, and fireplace are stunning for photographs.

We were so happy with Matt and Leslie who took care of us the day of the wedding! Andrea and Maria were great to work with while planning for the big day! The food and the atmosphere were everything we could’ve hoped for our wedding! Guests are still raving about the evening that took place on November 9th of this year! I would highly recommend having an event at Glen Sanders!

Where to even begin? Our entire experience with Glen Sanders was phenomenal from start to finish!! From the entire planning process with Maria and Andrea down to the day-of help from Maki and Lesley everything far exceeded our expectations! The food was phenomenal (as we knew it would be), the staff made sure our ceremony (that was held in half of the ballroom) went seamlessly! Maki was incredible and always made sure that we had a drink in our hand, and all of our guests praised the venue and their experience! The best part was that they sent us home with left over food and cupcakes which we were able to enjoy again over the weekend!!

We had our wedding ceremony, reception, after party, and next morning breakfast at the Glen Sanders Mansion. I'd like to review all items individually:
Ceremony: the lobby is an absolutely beautiful location. The entire venue has recently been renovated, but the lobby has a brand new staircase and just a gorgeous view. We loved it!
Reception: the ballroom is equally beautiful, but I really want to talk about how over-the-top wonderful our service was. Maria and Andrea did an amazing job listening to our vision and helping us achieve it. We worked with Lesley and Maki the day of the wedding, and OMG they made the day so easy for me. Some of the best service I've ever experienced in my life - especially Maki our personal attendant. For instance, my dress bustle broke in two places and she sewed it for me!!
After party - we had our after party in the lounge and had a slider bar. The food was delicious (as was all of it the entire evening), and we were able to use the outdoor fire pits that overlook the Mohawk River. The entire day was just beautiful.

The Glen Sanders also has 19 rooms (17 rooms + 2 suites) that our guests were able to stay in. We had a lot of out-of-town guests so this was great to have everyone stay on site. In all, our day was made extra special by the staff at the Glen Sanders. I couldn't recommend them more!!

Let me start by saying, even 3 weeks later I am still awed by my experience with Glen Sanders and how magical our wedding weekend was. Where do I start, first off, the venue renovations are absolutely beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the event planners/managers are so organized and bring a sense of calm to the frenetic nature of the weekend. Being the bride, you get some extra special treatment in general, but the staff of Glen Sanders went out of their way for all our guests. I also highly recommend having your family and friends rent out all 19 hotel rooms. There are enough common spaces, where people can gather informally and enjoy one another's company without having to be in a hotel room.
Andrea and Lesly, our event planners, were a great team, and took last minute logistics and set up off our hands, which was a welcome surprise. They walked through the day, asked lots of questions to ensure our vision was met and help us fill in gaps we missed. They did so much behind the scenes to ensure the evening went off without a hitch. I was not stressed at all the day of, and got to fully enjoy every moment of it.
This review is already too long, but it is worth mentioning the quality and spread of food, wow. Everything was so amazing, and I loved getting a small portion of each meal, in addition to the incredible passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres. The cake was also delicious. Lastly, you can have the after party on-site, downstairs in the Lounge, which is part of the old mansion structure and super cozy and fun. If you’re still with me, have your wedding here, rent out the whole mansion, because why not?! And I hope you have the incredible experience that we did 😊

Glen sanders was not on our venue list in the beginning due to people saying it was “too expensive”. However after seeing other venues for more money with less amenities our decision practically makes itself. The Glen Sanders Mansion had the complete package, from rooms for family to stay close all the way to a “under ground bar” to continue the party after the wedding was over. Glen Sanders Mansion has every box checked.

Maria DeMartino was our wedding coordinator from the start and she really sold us on the mansion and everything that came with it. When we first met her she seemed so focused in on exactly what my husband and I were picturing for our wedding day. She made us feel like we were family and she was going to take care of us just like our own mothers would. She was very knowledgeable and focused on every detail of our wedding. After we chose the mansion for our wedding, Glen sanders went through a large renovation of the outdoor ceremony space and lobby area. Not one time were we worried. Maria kept us in the loop and calm the whole way, while constantly talking positively about her place of business and our wedding day. As it turns out, the renovations were so beautiful and made our day better than we ever imagined! I do not think we could have had the wedding we did without Maria’s support and contagious optimism. Her knowledge was priceless to us.

When it came down to the wedding week we had our final meeting where we met our wedding assistant Lesley Pistilli for the first time. She was beyond helpful. We had so many questions during the final meeting and not one time did she hesitate to answer every question we had. She was so happy to get to know us and our wedding plans. She was very calming and both of us felt like everything was under control. We left that meeting knowing Lesley had everything under control. During the wedding day she was always right there making sure our day was perfect minute by minute. Even when my husband was stressing about the details, Lesley stayed calm and kept him calm. Through out the night Lesley kept checking in making sure we were happy. Our perfect night could not have happened without her.

Another important person was Maki, our personal wedding day assistant. She was so bubbly and happy the whole day, constant popping up checking in making sure we had drinks, food, and even repairing bridal party dresses. She was the perfect person to make you smile and laugh through what seemed like the busiest day our of lives thus far. Maki made every moment count and never let us miss a thing.

Hands down Glen Sanders Mansion surpassed every expectation we had and made our day a dream. Every penny we spent which really was quite a deal for the amount we go from them was worth EVERYTHING. The most impressive part about the venue were the little details. Weddings go by so quickly and we felt like so many things past too fast. To our surprise when we returned to our suite after the reception, we found a display set up with slices of our wedding cake and pastries from our Italian cookie table (which we hadn’t gotten to try!) It was so thoughtful and we were completely shocked by the small detail that went so far. They just kept surprising us and making us feel like royalty. My husband and I absolutely recommend this venue for every engaged couple out there! They will make your dreams come true

The Glen Sanders is nothing short of perfect. Between the Mazzone Hospitality staff and the finished renovations, this venue is the king of weddings! Everyone there made my wedding day go smoothly, especially Andrea and Leslie who helped me plan the wedding from start to finish and was there for me every step of the way. I highly recommend the Glen Sanders Mansion to anyone who is looking for a classy and elegant wedding with all the bells nd whistles added! I love this place!

The Glen Sanders has it all. The entire staff are experts at giving you the perfect day. We were lucky enough to be the first wedding held with the new renovations and it was the most perfect day. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about the fabulous food and the new staircase made an incredible entrance for myself as a bride. Maria, Lesley, and Linda made sure everything was perfect and we had everything we could ever need. I would never think of having our wedding elsewhere.

The Glen Sanders Mansion is the BEST. The minute we met with Maria DeMartino and saw the venue we knew we had to have our wedding there. The venue is absolutely stunning. Maria is amazing to work with. She walked us through everything up until the big day, responding quickly to our emails. She is extremely professional. She and her team are unbelievably organized. The day of our wedding went so smoothly. Her team took care of absolutely everything - Lesley and Alissa made sure everything went just as we planned! The food is outstanding and their service is just as good. We are so thrilled that we had our big day there. It was such a memorable day. We had our ceremony and wedding at The Glen Sanders Mansion and had the best experience. The entire team consistently went above and beyond our expectations allowing us to feel relaxed and taken care of at our wedding. I can't say enough about the AMAZING job the Glen Sanders did with our wedding! The food was superb, the service was impeccable, the price for what we received was outstanding! The staff is helpful, professional, accommodating, flexible and so kind and friendly you feel like family is taking care of you. I would and will be recommending them to everyone!

always dreamed of having my wedding outside. With having the ceremony outside there is the risk of rain. I wanted a venue that had multiple spaces where we could have the reception, cocktail hour and ceremony all in different areas if it rained. Glen Sanders provided that and so much more. We were able to have the ceremony outside by the river. We did have a concern because they had redone the patio and ceremony site a few weeks before our wedding. Maria was super accomodating and told us to stop by to get an idea of the layout. When we saw the layout we discussed with her that we were concerned that my future father-in-law would not be able to see much of the ceremony because he is in a wheelchair. She reiterated that he would be able to see with no issues and not to worry. Two days before our wedding we had our final meeting with Maria and she surprised us with letting us use the golf cart free of charge to transport him down to the ceremony site. It was the greatest feeling in the world to know that my father-in-law would be able to sit through the ceremony with everyone else. Maria was very easy to work with and provided different options for cocktail hour, dinner and the dessert station. We could not have been happier with Maria, Leslie (our wedding coordinator for the day) and Maki. Everything was taken care of for us, our bridal party, and our parents. They made sure we did not have to worry about anything. If we could do it all again we would definitely work with the staff at The Glen Sanders Mansion.

Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at Glen Sanders. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, their staff may be the nicest people in the world, the food is absolutely amazing and it was a wonderful experience for everyone involved. They wedding was absolutely perfect, everything went off without a hitch and they took all the stress out of planning a wedding. I cannot say enough good things about the facility, food, staff and experience. I can promise that you will not be disappointed with them and their work. They made our day exactly what we want and we will never forget it.

From our first meeting with Maria until we walked out the door the day after our son's wedding, we couldn't have asked for anything more from her or any staff member. Maria made the whole planning process so easy and led us through the entire process effortless. Manny worked with us at the rehearsal and day of the wedding. He was fun, energetic yet professional at all times. He checked in with us many times to make sure everything was perfect. Linda went above and beyond in making sure that all of Nick & Christina's needs were met. The food was plentiful and delicious and the entire facility was perfectly manicured. Wish we could repeat the entire event!!

Five stars isn’t enough to give for the amazing staff and service for our wedding on 8/31/18. Maria DeMartino passed the torch to Leslie and Maki for the evening and it was FLAWLESS. Leslie made it a point to communicate openly with us and Maki was essentially a superhero, saving the day by sewing my mother’s dress and fixing some issues with my husband’s tuxedo. I can’t say enough about the staff. They worked with our florist and designer and check out the non-professional photos (will share more soon!) from how the ballroom turned out.

We booked Glen Sanders after attending a wedding there in the past. We are hearing from everyone that we had one of the best weddings ever and it is thanks to the staff at Glen Sanders specifically Maria, Lesley, and Maki who is a God sent. The food is phenomenal as well as the service. We we're lucky enough to get married outside and it was beautiful. We also really enjoyed the Gand tasting that was offered to us as it allowed us to try all of the different food options and meet with other couples getting married at Glen Sanders so that we can all share ideas. Our day ran beyond smooth and it is thanks to all the staff who are highly organized.

We would choose the Glen Sanders Mansion again and again for our wedding! Every bride and groom should be so lucky to have the same great experience we did. Everything was just perfect and it’s not easy to have a “perfect” wedding day. We looked at a lot of wedding venues and GSM met and exceeded all our expectations and still fell within our budget. The “Dream Date” weddings are the best deal in town. We got married in spring, so slightly outside peak season, but had the best experience at GSM. It was seriously mind-blowing that we could afford everything we received. The drinks were amazing and there was so much tasty food. The venue was so well organized and so well managed.

Maria is a dream. We trusted her knowledge and opinion and she helped us so much with the planning process. Our day of coordinator and personal attendants were amazing. They handled every little detail and made sure we had everything we needed. My attendant even helped me bustle my gown, fixed my hair and ran back and forth to my suite to deliver and pick up things I needed (and I’m not one to ask for these things). The entire staff was so helpful and we didn’t have to worry about a thing!

The grounds were still recovering from a very rough winter and a very cold spring but the pictures came out great. There are so many options for photography right on site and we didn’t have to worry about running around town or transporting our wedding party.

Having everything we needed right on site was exactly what we wanted. We had our ceremony on site and then quickly transitioned to cocktail hour followed by the reception. Our wedding party and families were able to stay on site and we enjoyed having the bridal suite just upstairs. We loved having a spot for an after party right on site and it was just such a fun time. We can't say enough great things about Glen Sanders Mansion, we’d highly recommend it!

Our wedding day could not have gone better at Glen Sanders. The food, cake, atmosphere and lighting was just absolutely amazing. Maria DeMartino, the wedding coordinator, was fabulous from the start to the end. She is a connoisseur! Maki, the "personal attendant" was accommodating. You are greatly appreciated Maki! The Glen Sanders provides such an amazing experience, It was truly our dream wedding. Their hospitality and service was beyond perfect. They are so detailed in the planning that the day before my wedding I literally had nothing to do but relax and be excited for the big day. Our wedding was in the winter so we had a lot of family staying at the Glen Sanders and they all loved it as well.
Maria helped us to schedule and plan the details ahead of time. Anyone who has met her knows how incredible she is. Leslie set up the decorations and made sure everything was perfect. And of course, it looked amazing! Maki was there assisting the bridal party on that day and sewed up a broken bridesmaid dress in less than 5 minutes! On the wedding day, everything went so smoothly. When you have your wedding at the Glen Sanders you really do get a memorable experience.

I don't even know where to start...Glen Sanders Mansion and their AMAZING crew blew me away on my wedding day. Maria and Leslie are simply amazing. They ensure your wedding night is flawless. We have family and friends still commenting on how beautiful our wedding was and how delicious the food was. 5 stars just isn't enough!!!

Before the wedding the were very helpful and accomodating. Everything i asked for they assisted me with. They day of the wedding put them over the top and I wish I could give them highter than a 5/5. I have never experienced such amazing service. Any time I mentioned something I had to check on or something I forgot, they took it right out of my hands and fixed the situation. Saying they accommodated for our allergies is an understatement as well, they went over the top to make us feel special. Our guests raved about the food and the service as well! Im so happy that their staff was attentive and friendly.

I've been hesitating to write this review only because I don't think I'll find the words to do it justice! From our first experience in our tour and meeting with Maria, we knew that this was our venue and that Maria was going to be an instrumental and amazing person to help our wedding vision come to life. Maria answered all of our questions along the way without hesitation. Everything about the event was impeccably well organized. To say they know what they are doing and are on top of every little detail at Glen Sanders/Mazzone Hospitality is an understatement. Our final meeting and rehearsal went perfectly and we transitioned from working with Maria to our event manager, Lesley, who made us feel comfortable and confident that everything that day was going to go smoothly. She checked in to let us know everything was set up and going well. Maki was our bridal attendant and I don't know how anyone can say enough great things about her. She made sure that everyone had what they needed and then some. She was always RIGHT there when you least expected her but most needed her. My youngest daughter was starting to droop after pictures and the preparation and all the excitement - and there was Maki ready with a bowl of ice cream for her! On the wedding day it was very humid and quite hot so we were worried about our guests but the staff at Glen Sanders made sure everyone was as comfortable as possible and had ice water at the ready. The ceremony went off on time without a hitch. Then the cocktail hour and reception began and everything was truly spectacular. Lesley, Maki and all the staff kept everything flowing smoothly all night and allowed me and my husband to relax and just enjoy ourselves! The food was amazing, the bar and the fire pit were a blast afterward! Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime, incredibly special day that goes by in the blink of an eye. Having the Mazzone team behind you on that day is a choice you won't regret.

Everything was so phenomenal! I could not have asked for a more perfect day. Throughout the process, Maria DeMartino, the event planner at Glen Sanders was constantly in contact with us and immediately answered any questions we had at any time. She was so professional and very confident in the venue which was great to see that anything could be handled with ease. Lucian and Maki were so helpful the day of our wedding and made sure everything ran so smoothly. They were so attentive and wanted everything to be perfect. I did not have to worry about a single thing. The food was delicious! We had a chicken and steak option as well as a vegetarian, however they made sure some of our guests had gluten free and vegan meals cooked on their own lines in the kitchen. The hor douvres were delicious as well and we even had a suite fridge full of left overs to take home with us the next day! The outdoor gazebo wedding on the river was a wonderful place for the ceremony. I really enjoyed that the guests were able to keep moving; the ceremony outside, to the porch space for cocktail hour, ballroom for reception, pub for cash bar afterwards. We were even able to continue using all the spaces throughout the entire night including the fire pit area. It was the perfect venue for a perfect night!

We got married on 6/17/17 and could not have been happier with our choice of venue. The Glen Sanders Mansion does an incredible job. The food was wonderful, and my husband and I have high expectations. Everyone was so professional and the whole event was incredibly organized. They think of every detail and are SO well prepared to help you on your day. We had more fun than we ever thought possible, thanks to the team at glen sanders.

The best way to demonstrate how accommodating, professional, and prepared this team was is through a real story from our wedding. My husband and I were about to be introduced to the ballroom for our first dance when an uncle met us outside and said he refused to sit at the table we seated him at. We told Lucien the situation and he said "don't worry, I'll take care of it" and we walked into the ballroom for our first dance. Before we had finished the dance, the team had quietly set up an entire new table in the ballroom and had seated the family. Problem solved. We were totally amazed.

I can not imagine anyone being disappointed with this venue if selected. They are WONDERFUL.

I can not say enough positive words about Glen Sanders. Maria thinks of everything (even things that extremely organized brides don't think of). She is very easy to get in contact with, and no question is a bad question. She is extremely accommodating and great to work with! Our banquet manager was Leslie and she was there all day long answering our questions and ensuring that the day went smoothly. One of our groomsmen decided to spike a bouquet like it was a football (funny, but messy when the flowers exploded everywhere). Leslie had it cleaned up before our first dance (which I was very thankful for as I was worried about slipping). Maki was our attendant and she is amazing at her job. My husband was very impressed that Maki knew his beer was gone before he did. She had our bridal suite set up with all of the food from cocktail hour so the bridal party had some time to decompress before attending the cocktail hour. She also cleaned up our room and wrapped our leftovers so we had food when we got back late at night. She even brought up my veil after I ripped it out and my husband's jacket after he shed it. Knowing that we did not have to worry about anything was incredible. I highly recommend having your wedding here! They know what they are doing.

You would be crazy not to go with Glen Sanders. Mazzone hospitality knows how to do it! Everything from the planning with Maria, down to the end of the night was complete perfection. They didn't miss a beat and we felt like king and queen for a night. The guests had so many compliments about the service and accommodations. It was fantastic to have a hotel connected to the venue, which made things convenient. They made sure you relaxed on your big day and made it truly one of the most special and memorable days of your life!

Choosing Glen Sanders Mansion for our wedding was the best decision we made for our wedding. Every step of the way was calm and easy with this venue. Maria was our wedding planner and she made sure everything was in order for our day to be perfect! The first time my husband and I saw the venue we were in love with the outside scenery on the river and everything else about it. Maria was able to help us have what we wanted at our wedding that was in our price range. Every time I would call and ask her a question she would assist right away. Even the tasting was an incredible experience at Glen Sanders. The tasting was like going to an actual wedding and we had fun with other couples getting married within the year. Maria was able to inform us on everything about the venue and helped make everything so easy. Glen Sanders has Mazzone cater which was also a big help to not have to worry about getting a caterer. When my husband and I met for our final meeting right before the wedding we met with Leslie and Maria. Leslie took notes on how we wanted our day to be and where and what we wanted set up. She went through absolutely everything so she'd know everyone's names and exactly what we wanted. They listened to us which made the entire wedding planning process less stressful and actually fun to plan. Every vendor we had knew Glen Sanders and their exceptional service so they knew how to contact them and how to set up. The wedding day went even better than we had expected....everything went as it should have and Glen Sanders staff took care of everything. My husband and I had so much fun and so did all of our guests....they are still raving about how amazing the service was and how incredible the setup was. Glen Sanders exceeded our expectations from start to finish and we couldn't have been happier with the entire process and our incredible wedding!!

Having our wedding reception at the Glen Sanders Mansion was the best decision we could have made. After looking at an exhausting amount of venues, my husband and I were at wits end. From the moment we drove onto the property we had a great feeling. After meeting with Maria and touring the property we were sold. Working with Maria at Mazzone Hospitality is like having your own wedding planner. She is thorough, thoughtful, and super accommodating. And the food- our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful it was. I’m still receiving calls from friends and family raving about it. The flow of the entire day was perfect, listen to Maria, she knows what she’s talking about. The day of you have your own event manager as well as attendant for the bride and groom. We had Lucien and Maki and they were awesome. I’m attributing the success of the day to them. Maki was there to make sure my dress was bustled, our food was ate, and our glasses were full. From start to finish our experience with Glen Sanders was great. Maria was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process. The day of my wedding I worked with Lucian our Banquet Manager and Maki our Bridal Attendant, both were absolutely amazing!!! The Glen Sanders mansion was amazing from the first time we looked at the venue until our wedding night. Maria was amazing she walked us through every detail from start to finish. Shana helped everything run smooth the day of the wedding and Maki was incredible. She was our personal assistant for the wedding day . She took such good care of us.....making sure we ate, getting us drinks , making up a Boquet and boutonniere for my parents because they forgot theirs, bustling my dress when no one else knew how, stocking our wedding suit with our favorite drinks and hors d'oeuvres in case we get hungry and loading our refrigerator with food . She was amazing, making us feel like a king and queen for the day. I am so happy with my choice for Glen Sanders mansion I would not have changed a single thing that day . For this I am so greatfull. I never thought I could have the wedding of my dreams on my budget, but Maria made it happen and they had no hidden charges so there were no last minute surprises! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was out of this world. My parents and my husband's parents were all so surprised on the incredible personal service they received. The Glen Sanders Mansion was the perfect venue!! We had an amazing time! Maria was great to work with and helped us out every step of the way- any questions that I had I would email her and she would get back to me within 24 hours! Lesley and Caitlin were great with any small questions that I had as well!! Lucien was amazing to work with the week and day of and made our day go by perfectly! He made sure that we were ready every step of the way on our day as to when to end cocktail hour and when to cut the cake, etc. and made sure that everything was set-up perfectly! Maki was an amazing bridal attendant!- she was there to help me hold my train, hold my bouquet, hold my drink, bustle my dress, was prepared and had anything that I needed! and she set up the bridal suite for us so perfectly with left over food in the refrigerator, our favorite drinks, and dessert!! Our photos came out perfect with the beautiful scenery outside! and the gorgeous ballroom! and not to mention the after party downstairs in the pub where our late night nosh station was! Glen Sanders Mansion was absolutely outstanding. I do not think they could have a bad review ever but seriously, they are the absolute best. From beginning to end we were wowed by what they had to offer. Maria DeMartino is fantastic. Being the second of two daughters in my family to get married at Glen Sanders Mansion, I was familiar with the gorgeous venue and everything they had to offer. Following our first meeting with Maria DeMartino, I knew I didn’t want to look at any other venues. I don’t even know where to begin with Maria…Simply put, she is fabulous and we consider her part of our family! Throughout the entire planning process, she was able to answer all of our questions and address any concerns. She even made sure that Maki, who was the amazing bridal attendant for my sister’s wedding, would be available for our wedding day, which we were both extremely excited about. I can’t say enough about how helpful and accommodating Maki, as well as the entire staff, including our banquet manager, Frank, was throughout the entire day and evening. Glen Sanders Mansion is the perfect place to get married! The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous and there's a beautiful spot to get married outside, under a gazebo, right next to the water. The food is AMAZING and you get so much of it! The wedding planner Maria is extremely helpful and supportive through the planning process. Maria was really amazing to work with. She is VERY detail oriented, she knows her stuff and was extremely helpful throughout our planning process whether it be related to the timeline, set up or food selection. When we had questions (often) she would get back to us in a timely manner with an answer or a suggestion. When we did our menu meeting, she helped us rearrange the format to our liking and also provided us with suggestions on what to do or not to do, what had worked / didn’t work for others in the past. When we requested to have a certain bartender for the night, she made sure to write it down and confirm that he would be available. We really appreciated her honesty in all aspects. At our meeting two days prior to the wedding, we were introduced to Lucien who was going to be our “day-of” point person. He was also extremely detailed, very nice and easy to work with. He calmed our nerves in making us feel that he had everything under control. We held our ceremony at the Mansion (in the outdoor area out back); the rehearsal went very well, Lucien ran the whole thing and kept our large bridal party in line! For the day of we also had help from Maki, the main bridal attendant. Maki was very attentive and helpful - anything I needed (or the bridesmaids needed) she was right there, taking orders and getting drinks or food or anything needed. She also helped bustle my dress when it was time and did a great job. Caitlin (another bridal attendant) was also very helpful in serving the bridal party with whatever they needed. All of staff was amazing to work with. We felt like our day went better than expected! The food was amazing (I didn’t get a chance to eat much but had rave reviews from our family, bridal party and guests). We had an AMAZING wedding. We cannot thank Maria and the staff at Glen Sanders Mansion enough for helping us make our wedding day wishes come true - they went above and beyond what we had hoped for! I highly recommend GSM!!!

Glen Sanders Mansion was the perfect place to have our wedding. From the moment we met with Maria we knew that it was the place to stage our special day. She was there for us to answer all and any questions we had through the planning process. On the day off the wedding our banquet manager Lucien and bridal attendant Maki put the frosting on the cake. They went above and beyond with every detail. We had some unique requests on our day to personalize it to us as a couple and they embraced those requests. One of these requests was for the staff to wear crew shirts as they paraded the salad course through the ball room. Lucien decided to take it one step further and find a bicycle to ride into the ballroom at the leader of the parade holding sparklers and wearing a clown nose. AMAZING!!! If we were to do it all over again we would choose Glen Sanders Mansion...no doubt!

We have been dreaming of our wedding at Glen Sanders for the past two years. Let me tell you, they exceeded all of our expectations and then some. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and then you add in delicious food with beautiful presentation, and friendly and hospitable staff, you have the perfect wedding venue. Maria was absolutely wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, professional, personable, and caring. She made the process so easy for us, and she kept us calm and excited all the way leading up to the big day. She was like another mother to us, and we loved the relationship that we had created with her. Leslie, our Banquet Manager was wonderful. She was very organized and went through our timeline, event decor, etc with us to know the exact image we had in our head for our big day. She was quick to find solutions to any small hiccup, and she was always calm and collected with a smile on her face. Maki, our Bridal Attendant, was a dream come true. She knew what we wanted before we even knew. She was like a fly on the wall. She stayed out of the way when things got busy, but she was always in the background making herself available if need be. She was so friendly and always had a smile on her face. We just loved her! We never had to worry about our wedding reception, because we knew that Mazzone Hospitality is the best of the best and would take good care of us! And they did just that! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You made our wedding day magical and a day that we will never forget!

Glen Sanders Mansion is was amazing from start to finish. The ballroom, grounds, and inn all provide a wonderful, comfortable space to have the time of your life in. Maria DeMartino is professional and easy to work with. She is on top of everything and makes sure the whole process goes smoothly. The staff for my event were all fabulous and ensured that a great time was had by all. From the Banquet Manager, Frank DeLuca, to the Bridal Party Attendant Maki, I was thoroughly impressed. Plus, for all that is included in their packages, you get great value. The food was outstanding and their in-house bakery leaves nothing to be desired. I am so grateful for all who were involved in our big day.

This venue was absolutely amazing. The grounds provided a beautiful backdrop for photos, the staff is so accommodating and easy to work with. Anything at all you need, they're on it. I loved the dock and really wanted it in the water to take pictures on but due to the hurricane that came through the week before the wedding they had to pull the dock in. I have to tell you that the Mazzone crew made my day so awesome, I didn't think about the dock at all. The grounds are so beautiful we got many great pictures without it anyway! I can't say enough great things about this place and the staff, highly recommended!

Let me just tell you right now that Maria DeMartino is the SHIT!!!! If you want your wedding to be absolutely fabulous and go off without a hitch, pick Glen Sanders!! The service was absolutely impeccable, I cannot say one poor thing about our wedding. Lucien was a pleasure to work with, always making sure everything was on point. And MAKI.....man, that girl rocks!!! (BTW--she's an Alice In Chains fan!) Maki went out of her way to make sure that all of us had everything we needed that day. She would literally come out of nowhere!! When I needed someone to hold my bouquet, she was already grabbing it---when I needed a refill---I never did because she was already putting a fresh drink in my hand. Maki found out our best man was a vegetarian and came out with a huge platter of vegetarian hors d'oeuvres just for him!

Our wedding at Glen Sanders Mansion was fantastic and turned out to be everything we had imagined! The venue itself is gorgeous and located on the Mohawk River. We had our ceremony outside, next to the river, in their wedding gazebo. They have an enclosed patio for cocktail hour and a ballroom for the reception. Maria helped us from the very beginning in planning the wedding. She was very helpful and was able to accommodate all of our requests/needs. Our wedding coordinator, Amanda, was great on the day of. She was right there at the ceremony to tell the bridal party when to walk and made sure that every aspect of the day was kept on time. Lucian, the banquet manager, was also great and made sure that all parts of the meal were put out on time and kept everything flowing. We also had a personal bridal attendant, Maki. Let me tell you, she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! She is with you from the beginning of the day to make sure that you are kept happy and calm. She brought us food and drinks in the bridal suite before the ceremony. She also cleaned up a strawberry stain on my dress and sewed a hole that came up in my mom's dress. She was waiting with champagne for the bride and groom right after the ceremony and stays with you through the entire reception. Glen Sanders is lucky to have her! We also used the new uplighting that Glen Sanders has; we found it to be a very good price compared to other uplighting packages we looked at. The food was very delicious; we found it to be higher quality than other typical banquet food. I LOVED the wedding cake they provided and would have eaten more if I could! We had our wedding on a Sunday, as their is no food and drink minimum for that day. We found the Saturday minimum a bit high and chose Sunday over Friday. We also liked that they have onsite accommodations at their Inn, which was very convenient.
Overall, the Glen Sanders venue and team were superb. We recommend the venue to all couples!

I am going to attempt to find the right words to describe Glen Sanders and the people that made our wedding day perfect. First, let me start with Maria who worked very closely with us to set our wedding up. She is incredibly patient (I had a question every other day) and really looks out for a bride and groom to make sure they know everything they need to do to have a smooth day. When Maria was unavailable, Andrea stepped in and she also was very patient. The day of the wedding, Lucien made sure EVERYTHING went off without a hitch and continued as planned for the whole night. He even coordinated with our DJ to make sure the wedding party walked at specific times so that I could walk to my husband at the exact moment in our song. Maki, our bridal attendant, saved my life by fixing my shoes (the strap came off before the reception, so she sewed it) and my husband's life by keeping food that was safe for him to eat completely separate from the rest when she packed it up for us. Aside from our specific interactions with people, our guests could not stop praising the entire staff (including the inn personnel) on their friendliness and attentiveness to them. Our guests could also not stop commenting on the beauty of the venue itself- which, aside from the people, is what really sold us when we were doing our venue searching. Maria DeMartinez made a great first impression from the start. She met with my fiancé and I and was kind, informative and very accommodating. We planned our wedding over a course of roughly four months and Maria guided us through the entire event process. She helped with our menu, set us up with our tasting, and made several suggestions that she knew would make our day special. The rest of the Glen Sanders Mansion went above and beyond what my fiancé and I expected. We had our wedding outside, cocktail hour on the back patio, and the reception in the ballroom. Amanda, Lucian, and Maki, made our day a fairytale come true. We couldn't thank them enough. From Maki having our bridal suite stocked with hors d'oeuvres and bringing water to us while we were taking pictures, to Amanda and Lucian coming up with a makeshift garter when we couldn't find ours, the staff was phenomenal and anticipated every need we had, even if we didn't realize it. The food was amazing, we truly couldn't have asked for a better day. We really recommend Glen Sanders for your wedding. They will not disappoint. Thank you again.

Upon getting to Glen Sanders Mansion a year prior to our wedding we knew it was the place where we would be getting married. Maria, our wedding planner, was amazing from the very first second. She relieved any bit of stress or anxiety we had right away. We were planning a wedding in NY from CA and she was always very communicative and available the entire time. She was quick to respond to any concern or idea and we really felt like she was at our beck and call. You can tell why weddings run so smoothly at Glen Sanders and that is clearly because of Maria.

From the moment we stepped out of our car at the rehearsal dinner the entire staff was fantastic. Everyone was so attentive and willing to go the extra mile to get whatever we needed done complete. Frank, who was our day of coordinator, was phenomenal. He took every worry and last minute fear away and we really felt like we had nothing to worry about. He gave us a full walk through down to the minute of how everything would play out. He customized several aspects of the day of timeline specifically to what we had in mind. He was more then we could have ever expected.

Day of, our attendant Maki was phenomenal. She checked in on us while getting ready several time to make sure that whatever we needed was right at our fingertips. During the actual reception she was with us every step of the way with a fresh drink, taking our personal belongings back to our room and helping our wedding party get settled. Saying that the entire staff was accommodating is an understatement. Our guests felt like they had their own personal attendants. At the end of the reception we took the party to the bar downstairs. When we got back to our suite at the end of the night we were surprised to see our dining room table set up with tons of food, our fridge stocked with bottles of wine and other drinks and our room lit with candles and rose petals everywhere.

A TRUE 5 star experience is the only way to describe this venue!!

Everyone at the Glen Sanders has weddings down to a science! They made me so at ease and comfortable throughout, all the way through my wedding day and beyond! The food was so delicious and the schedule and formalities were perfectly executed. They treated us like royalty and went out of their way to make sure we didn't have to worry about anything. The grounds were prepped and our photos came out beautiful thanks to them setting the stage. Just perfection!

Our wedding was perfection thanks to The Glen Sanders Mansion. As a very particular Bride, The Glen Sanders was top notch!! We have been to several weddings and they don't even compare to the management at the Mansion. We had some issues in the beginning and management addressed our issues right away and with professionalism. The pricing is a bit above average but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. We got more then we paid for!! The foods was amazing!!! Everyone is still talking about our food!! Thank you to The Glen Sanders Mansion for making our day perfect and for making our guests say, " it was the best wedding they have ever been to!"

We can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with the staff at Glen Sanders. We had our reception there and everything was just perfect (not a word I use often!).

Maria is absolutely amazing. She’s the easiest person to talk to, gave us great advice on all aspects of the wedding, and was available whenever we had a question or concern. We had a couple of very last minute changes to the guest list and it was no problem at all. She also knows everyone, so she was able to work our other vendors (band, florist, photographer, etc.) seamlessly.

Lucien our banquet manager was awesome as well. He made sure everything was working on time behind the scenes and came and checked in with us a few times to make sure everything was good. Again, we never had to worry about a thing.

Finally, Maki, our personal assistant was wonderful. I didn’t even go to the bar during the reception, because every time I thought about it, Maki showed up with my drink of choice. She also helped out the bridal party during cocktail hour and wrapped up a bunch of leftover food from dinner and cocktail hour for us.

Our reception was early evening, so after it was over, many of our friends and family went down to the pub to continue the party. It was so nice to be able to extend the night without having to leave and go somewhere else, and the food from our late-night food station was sent down with us which was great.

Bottom line, the food was amazing (and there was a ton of it), atmosphere was beautiful and we’ve never worked with a better staff. The attention to detail is beyond compare and was what made everything so perfect. I planned most of the wedding while I was away at grad school, but it was much less stress than I had anticipated simply because I knew Maria and the rest of the Glen Sanders staff would take care of everything. Highly recommended!!!

We could not have asked for a more wonderful place to have our wedding. Maria and Lucien were amazing and made sure everything was perfect and just how we envisioned it. The ceremony space outside was beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone went out of their way to make it perfect. Everything about our wedding reception was PERFECT, thanks to the amazing team at the Glen Sanders. From the moment we had our tour of the venue with Maria, we knew we wanted to have our wedding reception here. All of the pre-wedding planning was phenomenal - the grand tasting, the menu meeting with Maria, and all the emails and phone calls with both Maria and Andrea that happened in the months leading up to the big day.

As all the pre-planning concluded, we were handed off to our banquet manager the week of our wedding to have our final meeting. Our banquet manager was Lucian, and we cannot say enough great things about him! He was extremely cool, calm, and collected, and truly made me feel relaxed and confident that our day would go as planned (which was prettymuch a miracle since I'm a major worrier!).

The day of our wedding was perfect, and went exactly as the Glen Sanders team told us it would. Our attendant Maki, was phenomenal. Every time I turned around she was holding my train, taking my bouquet so I could have something to eat, or getting me a new drink. I had absolutely nothing to worry about on my wedding day, which is exactly the way the Glen Sanders tells you they want it to happen, and they made it a reality! I knew the day would be beautiful, but it was more incredible than I could have imagined - the way the ballroom was set up, the gift table, our GORGEOUS wedding cake. Additionally, my husband and I put together a candy buffet for our guests, and Lucian set it up that day. They way he set it up was a million times more gorgeous than I had imagined, and I was thrilled. After the reception concluded we moved the party downstairs to the bar, where the bartender kept the party going! As the day finally came to an end, my husband and I headed upstairs to our suite to find our mini-fridge filled with food from the reception, as well as wedding cake!

All I have to say is WOW!!!! Mazzone really knows what they are doing. Maria is awesome as a wedding planner. Lucian was the best banquet manager and Maki was our own personal waitress the day of the wedding. We didn't even have to ask for anything. She was there ready. Our guests loved the food, and so many people commented to us about how accommodating everyone was. From start to finish it was flawless and stress free. The way a wedding should be! We did a Sunday Brunch wedding. It was literally PERFECT

I can't say enough good things about Glen Sanders Mansion. My husband and I got married in June. From the fist time we met with Maria, we knew this was the place. Maria was amazing and was so helpful throughout the planning process. They made everything so easy. We had our ceremony and reception there and everything was incredible. The food was amazing. Frank was our banquet manager and he was awesome. He made sure everything ran smooth and had his eye on everything throughout the whole night. Maki our attendant was also amazing. She was right there with anything we needed. Again the whole staff at Glen Sanders Mansion is really what made our day so perfect. The location is beautiful and it was everything we wanted the day to be.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Glen Sanders is - the venue is perfectly picturesque, the staff are amazing, the food is divine, and the value for the dollar cannot be beaten anywhere else in the Capital Region.

We looked at Glen Sanders for our reception, thinking that they would be out of our price range. They turned out to be a much better value for fantastic food and a gorgeous venue.

The staff are exceptional. Maria is absolutely amazing - from start to finish, she is attentive, really gets to know her couples, and designs the perfect reception for them. She made us feel comfortable and welcome from the start. No question is off limits, no detail too small for Maria's notice.

The banquet manager, Lucien, was wonderful to work with. He expertly mapped our event and executed with ease, adjusting for delays and surprises.

We were assigned a personal attendant, Maki. Maki is extraordinary! She anticipated our every need, and brought the event from awesome to exceptional for us.

All in all, the grounds are gorgeous. The food is exceptional - our guests are still raving about how they've never had better wedding food. The Sanders suite was wonderful! The staff are exceptional, attentive - everything you could ask for on one of the most important days in your life, and definitely in your relationship. They made what we hoped would be an awesome day into an indescribably wonderful experience. If you are looking for a venue in the Capital Region, you've found it!

My husband and I live in NYC, so we had to travel up to see venues in the Albany area - and we just had one day! Glen Sanders was the last venue we saw, and we had almost given up at that point, as nothing else felt right.

When we arrived at Glen Sanders for the tour, Maria brought us down to the bar for some champagne before the meeting. She took us through the space, then walked us through all of the details, and we were sold. First of all, Maria is amazing and has been doing this for many years. She knows her stuff! We booked right away. :)

The planning process is easy and seamless with any Mazzone Hospitality venue, and I would argue Maria is the best! Planning from NYC was much less of hassle than we thought it would be. We decided at the last minute (a couple of weeks before the wedding) to re-do some of the food/beverage details, and they accommodated our request.

The day of the wedding was perfect. We used the Stockade room for hair/makeup, then moved into the suite. Maki, our attendant, immediately arrived at the suite and brought us champagne. Of course, she was amazing the entire night. Our bridal party couldn't stop talking about how amazing she was. Before they could even think about getting their next drink, they had a new one in their hands.

Frank, our Maitre D' is one of the best I've ever seen. He is kind, accommodating, and thoughtful - and he keeps the night moving along nicely, all while being nice to the other vendors and his staff. Props to you, Frank!

All in all, we were very satisfied, and would recommend any Mazzone Hospitality venue - especially The Glen Sanders Mansion and the above folks mentioned. :)

My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding weekend at Glen Sanders Mansion. From the first meeting with Maria we knew this would be the perfect place for our wedding. It was such a pleasure to work with Maria and her team leading up to the wedding -- she promptly responded to any questions I had and was able to accommodate all of my requests. She really gets to know you as a couple and provides great input and feedback while planning all details. We trusted her immediately and knew she would be sure to make our day perfect.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the mansion as well and is where we were first introduced to Amanda and Maki. I cannot say enough about how amazing they are. They attended to our every need -- not just us but our bridal party and families too! They were there with what we needed even before we knew we needed it. From the rehearsal dinner to the post wedding breakfast, they provided impeccable service and my bridal party and parents cannot stop talking about how amazing they are -- neither can we!

All of our guests tell us how amazing the wedding was -- from the service to the food -- they were all so impressed and loved every minute of it. The Glen Sanders Mansion was the perfect place to host a wedding if you want to feel special on your special day. From the first day we met with Maria, we knew that our wedding was going to be the most perfect day. Myself and my family have been to events at the GSM before, but our event was by far the best. The service was great, the food was amazing, and our vision was carried out to the max. Maria and her staff, especially our banquet manager, Amanda, made things go so smoothly for us. My husband and I had the most FABULOUS wedding at the Glen Sanders Mansion on April 12, 2014. Maria DeMartino and Amanda Huff were two of the most nicest, amazing, and most accommodating people to work with. Maria had my husband and I hooked after our first tour of the mansion a year prior to our wedding. If we could have gotten married the day after our tour, we would have! That is how wonderful she is. Maria did not bat an eye to any request we had. My husband and I had an ethnic wedding (he is Pakistani, I am Puerto Rican). To accommodate our guests, we asked Maria if offering a few ethnic dishes during cocktail hour was possible. Of course she said "no problem!" She even went that extra mile to include ethnic rice dishes-family style, for our guests during dinner! She set us up with a meeting with chef, Jamie Ortiz, who took our ideas and created the most delicious cultural dishes we could have asked for. Amanda took over during our wedding day and ensured everything ran smoothly. She catered to our every need and was very pleasant the entire time. Also making my husband and I wedding day extra special was our personal attendant, Maki (spelling may be off), she was exceptional! My MOH and BM were having a little difficulty bustling my dress and she stepped right in and assisted with the bustling. It came out perfect!! For a bride looking to have a fairy tale wedding, choose the Glen Sanders Mansion. Maria, Amy, chef Jamie Ortiz, and the rest of the wonderful Glen Sanders staff will far exceed your expectations!

Glen Sanders created such an amazing atmosphere for our wedding! Not once did I worry about anything before, during, or after the wedding! Thank you so much for making everything so easy to accomplish and taking all of the stress and worry out of our amazing day! We could not have asked for more!

We held our wedding ceremony on the patio outside at Glen Sanders Mansion, near the water fountain and fire pit. Originally, we had hoped to have the ceremony at the gazebo closer to the river, but since our wedding was early in the season, it was still too muddy. Turns out we liked the patio even better and the weather was perfect! The patio location was also better for accomodating our elderly guests that could not navigate all of the stairs.

We worked with both Suzy and Maki. They were both great in being responsive to our needs. The food was delicious, the cake was perfect, and everything was set up exactly as we had hoped. Both Suzy and Maki were attentive the day of the wedding, including accomodating our request for water, champagne glasses, and working with us on ensuring every detail was perfect.

Our wedding was small (about 25 people) and we had a dinner reception in the wine room at the restaurant. It was beautiful (and much prettier than it looked in the pictures).

The bartender downstairs was also fantastic and very flexible. After our dinner, the informal after party was in the bar and Ryan accomodated us by allowing us to take over the music and most of the tables. He was very friendly and stayed late to ensure we had a great time.

We were married on June 23, 2013 at the Glen Sanders Mansion. All the staff we dealt with were professional, and took care of our every need. The food was excellent, and we believe our package was a great value. The attention to detail that they exhibited greatly reduced our stress levels on what would otherwise have been a very stressful day -- they really have wedding organization down to a science.

We had heard great things prior to looking at Glen Sanders but I knew they were going to be our venue when we pulled in the parking lot. Maria DeMartino was simply amazing and walked us through every step of planning our ceremony and reception. Once our wedding weekend approached, we were introduced to our banquet manager, Amanda. She was also amazing and was on point with every detail. She put us at ease and walked us through every step. We didn't have to worry about a thing!! Maki, my bridal attendant was also extremely helpful and was there every step of the day too. We knew we were going to love Glen Sanders but they exceeded my expectations.
