Phenomenal!!!!! Work of art !!!!
I had the pleasure of Aleetha making me and my bridesmaids look like works of art she’s not only a phenomenal woman in person, but her work stands out down to her professionalism She is one of the most amazing people I’ve ever worked with in my life. I will always recommend her to any and everyone that I come across she made my very special day even more special. Aleetha was incredible to work with for my wedding hair and makeup! She brought my ideas to life and was so flexible and accommodating with any changes I suggested. I also did hair and makeup trial with her two months before the wedding and she remembered every single detail for the wedding day! Aleetha brings in so much positive energy that both the trial and wedding day makeover were super fun and conversational. She also helped with finalizing the getting ready timeline!
My final look turned out so stunning that everyone was raving about it! The makeup stayed on the whole day and night, and barely got oily despite the extremely high humidity that day. It was absolute perfection! -

We had an exquisite and elite experience with Aleetha and her team from The Glass Slipper Beauty! Aleetha was so excited about my hair and makeup inspiration when I sent it to her, I just knew I would look picture perfect for all of my pictures when the day came! Aleetha brought a fun loving, positive and caring vibe. I felt instantly at ease and excited for the day when she walked into the room! Aleetha’s skillful team started the day off playing us some ‘get ready tunes’ as myself, my bridesmaids, mom, and godmother were all pampered to perfection! My husband also got color correction and felt amazing all day! Aleetha and her team made us feel as though we were having a true spa day. We went from calm and relaxed to glam and gorgeous and the looks lasted through the entire night! I highly recommend Glass Slipper Beauty to all brides to be, I cannot think of a better way to have started off my wedding day! -

Aleetha was fantastic. As a type B bride, most of my wedding planning has been difficult because I just haven't had a vision of every little detail. She was so fun and kind, and easy to work with. I relax by telling stories, so the whole morning we had lots of laughs and just a great time. I showed her a few inspo pictures and what I ended up with was better than I can ever imagined. My makeup was flawless and my hair looked perfect the entire day.
She was prepared for anything, professional, and honestly just the best. -

Hire Glass Slipper Hair & Makeup!
Aleetha and her team at Glass Slipper did an incredible job with hair and makeup for myself, 10 bridesmaids, my mother, stepmother, and mother-in-law before my wedding earlier this month. They were the nicest group of women and made our morning so fun with a stellar playlist. The team was so organized helped me create a perfect run-of-show timeline for the morning, and were flexible with any challenges that came our way — Aleetha even fixed my makeup after I accidentally messed it up during my first look! She also helped me secure my veil, and made a beautiful impromptu design in my bun with pearl bobby pins I had bought days before the wedding. I can’t recommend Glass Slipper enough, and I will be shouting Aleetha’s name from the rooftops any time I meet a new bride looking for a reliable, fun, and professional hair and makeup team. I had a COVID wedding- 2 postponements and a venue change out of country and Aleetha and her team didn't break a sweat making it work! They were easy to work with, gracious, and did professional, beautiful work on myself and my bridesmaids. I can't recommend them enough, my only regret is I am already married and don't have an excuse to book them again! -

I got so many compliments on not only my hair and makeup but for all my bridesmaids as well! All my girls loved their hair and makeup. Aleetha is the nicest woman ever! She did my trial for my bridal shower and came to my house from Jersey. Her team is so much fun! They were so organized and everything was done timely! I trusted her to do what she thought was best and she even did airbrush makeup knowing it was gong to be a warm day. My make up lasted 12+ hours and that’s with all the dancing on the dance floor. -

I had such a wonderful experience working with Aleetha and her team for my wedding! Aleetha was very responsive and accommodating during the planning phase. On the big day, she and Tawanda arrived right on time and were ready to go! They both have such a calm, fun energy and fit right in with my bridesmaids and family while everyone was getting ready. My bridal party had a wide range of skin tones and hair textures, and Aleetha and Tawanda helped everyone look and feel absolutely beautiful! They are also LGBT friendly which was very important for us. Thank you Aleetha and Tawanda! -

Amazing people and artistry!
Aleetha's team did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding! We got married in upstate NY at Handsome Hollow, about 3 hours north of NYC. Aleetha is very easy to work with in planning and was so accommodating when we had to move our wedding multiple times due to COVID. There was never any stress working with her! We had a group of 10 getting hair and makeup done, with girls of all different hair types and skin tones. We had three stylists (Ciara, Tiffani and Tawanda) and were probably a 3+ hour drive for them but they arrived early, energetic and excited to start the day! Throughout the day they were all so fun and upbeat even though I knew we were their 5th or 6th wedding of the weekend. They listened to what everyone wanted and made everyone feel beautiful and they worked so efficiently, we were never rushed or behind. They did touchups throughout the day so everyone looked great when it was time for photos. My mother and mother in law both especially stood out - my mom said it was the best hair and makeup she has ever had done, and my mother in law loved her updo (and she was a bit nervous about her hair in general beforehand but Tawanda made her look amazing!). I as the bride loved my look, I never had a makeup trial but Ciara brought my vision to life from a photo and made me look beautiful. I don't have perfect skin and even had a scab on my face day-of but you would never know, she did such an amazing job with foundation. For my hair I did a trial in 2020 but asked Tiffani for a change day-of which she rolled with and it came out exactly as I wanted it. Overall I had an amazing experience with the entire team before and during our event and I would 100% recommend them for any future event! -

The service that Glass slipper provided was impeccable and I highly recommend hiring them for your wedding. From the beginning Aleetha worked flawlessly to make sure our wedding went without a hitch. Even when we had to postpone our wedding, Aleetha worked hard to ensure they could accommodate our rescheduled date. Thank you to Aleetha and the team for making my bridesmaids and family look ABSOLUTELY flawless. My family and girls could not stop talking about how amazing they felt throughout the events. The team was so welcoming and so much fun to be with on my wedding day. Although I was in the other room getting ready, I could hear the team and my girls cracking up and just having absolute fun whilst getting ready for the wedding. They were extremely professional and down to earth. Thank you guys for everything! I literally cannot thank you enough. With rescheduling due to covid and to changing venues these ladies were so accommodating! I had about 15 Birdesmaids and everything went just as planned! They were on time with setup and had such a great vibe! Would definitely recommend!! -

Just like a unique name, she is an exceptional personality too. She is extremely professional and I cannot imagine how easygoing she is. She does the makeup like a painting artist.
I always wanted a very simple and attractive look and never get the result but she made my dream comes true. I cannot stop looking at myself and the compliments I got on my wedding day - cannot describe. My husband's makeup was so subtle that he would aleetha always for his makeover.
I really enjoy the process and communication throughout. Cannot thank you enough for making our day this beautiful. We love you!

Aleetha and Tawanda are exactly what you want and need for the day of your wedding. They not only did an amazing job with my makeup and hair but they made it fun as well. It felt like I was just hanging out with my friends. As my wedding was a Hindu wedding, we had a very early start but they were on time and made the process seamless. There were 5 of us getting ready the morning of, (me, my mom, sister, MIL and SIL) and each one of us were very happy with our looks. They gave each one of us the natural makeup look we wanted and our hair turned out just as we imagined. I wish I could have them get me ready everyday. Definitely one the best vendor we could have hired. Even with covid being thrown in with wedding planning, Aleetha was very accommodating. -

My wedding planner had sent me several make-up and hair stylists to look at. However, as someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup normally, it was making me nervous about who to go with. Aleetha and her team at The Glass Slipper Wedding we're PERFECT. For the natural beauty bride, look no further. They were professional, convenient and reasonable. They even came to my house to do my trial! For my makeup and hair I wanted to go as natural as possible. Personally, I don't care for eye shadow and almost every other makeup artists I had worked with previously was pushing the "Ohh but you haven't had someone like me do your eye shadow before." I stepped out of the chair miserable every time. When I mentioned my preferences to Aleetha, she had no problem doing exactly what I wanted and it looked amazing. I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day. Her team so so lovely to work with and it was such a fun experience getting ready with them the morning of my wedding day. I would 100% hire them again! Aleetha, you are the best!! -

Aleetha was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day! I changed my hairstyle many times (including a couple of days before my wedding). Aleetha was very flexible and assured me that she would nail my wedding hairstyle--which she did! Aleetha traveled to me for my trials, no matter where I was located which was amazing and made less work for a busy bride!! She was extremely responsive and confident in her work, which made working with her very easy and enjoyable. Aleetha brought a wonderful positive vibe to the bridal suite and listened to every one of my bridesmaids to make sure they got what they were looking for. I had a total of 6 bridesmaids + myself + mother of the groom. Aleetha was able to complete all in a timely manner and make sure that we looked flawless heading to the venue! I loved working with Aleetha not only because she made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day, but she was also just so fun to have around. It just felt like a couple of girlfriends getting ready. It felt like she was a part of the family. I felt so taken care of and relaxed with her around. I can't recommend Glass Slipper enough. I loved that my hair and makeup looked like an elevated version of myself. They are so professional and kind and do beautiful work. A bridesmaid of mine who is getting married next year has already asked me for their information to book for her wedding! Hire Glass Slipper if you want to look like a Celeb version of you and also want to have a great time while getting beautified. -

Amazing hair and makeup service!!
Aleetha and her team were absolutely amazing to work with for my June 22, 2019 wedding. Aleetha was always quick to respond to to my emails and questions during the planning process and was so professional, kind, and fun on the wedding day. The fact that her and her team travel to your wedding venue is amazing. The prices were also very reasonable! Aleetha was absolutely incredible at my Catskill wedding. She nailed my trial which was a simple curl and styled front part which because of its simplicity could have really gone wrong :). She advised me to get extensions which I am thankful for every day because those things are amazing. The day of was great, she was super flexibly and breezed through my bridesmaids with ease. She even got a serious headpiece attached to my head which didn't shift a bit all night. Working with Aleetha was incredible. She was so responsive and fun to talk to on the phone, and really understood my vision for the wedding. Unfortunately, there were a few hiccups with finding a makeup artist (as Aleetha herself wasn't available to do my wedding), but she worked her magic and found us an amazing team who delivered beautiful looks. I absolutely LOVED working with Aleetha and Tawanda! They are the most fun people to be around. They came to my house for my trial which made it so easy for me. They brought their happiness and joy in and set to work. The outcome was beautiful so my family and I asked them to do our hair and makeup for my wedding. This time, they came all the way to my mom's house. It was so nice not to have to be up and out of the house on the day of, and so nice to be at my mom's house for such a special occasion. Aleetha and Tawanda were AMAZING!! I cannot sing their praises loud or long enough. Their work was beautiful. My hair and makeup lasted all night without any decline. As a team, they made everyone feel at ease that used them, including my mom who was nervous about having her make up professionally done. Everyone's hair and/or makeup looked beautiful. Additionally, we were behind (due to some late bridal party members), and the team was able to still keep everything flowing. Aleetha is AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the makeup that she did on my wedding day. Also, Danielle is fantastic - the first hair trial was a bit of a snafu but she definitely redeemed herself on my wedding day. My hairstyle was even BETTER than the second hair trial I had with Danielle.
However, Aleetha promised that we could start hair/makeup for a total of 8 people at 8am and finish on time at 11am - each person would take 40 minutes for BOTH hair and makeup. Should've known that seemed like a lofty goal. We hired 2 makeup artists and 2 hairstylists to expedite the pre-wedding prep. I just assumed that both hair and makeup would work simultaneously for each person. By 8am, only 1 makeup artist and 1 hairstylist arrived. Aleetha and the other artist arrived about 45 min to 1hr later. Also, one of the makeup artists mentioned that she pulled an all-nighter and hadn't slept...and honestly, it showed. The bridal party members who had their makeup done by her had to redo their own makeup. Additionally, we were running severely behind schedule for hair and makeup by about 50-60 minutes - one of my bridesmaids still didn't have her hair done when we started "getting ready" photos. I was very disappointed about the over-promised schedule.
Overall, LOVED my bridal hair and makeup, but would definitely suggest giving at least 1 hour buffer time for pre-wedding prep. -
