My now husband and I had our wedding at The Garland in July 2026 and were extremely happy with all of it! Friends traveled from the east coast and Europe and they had such fun at The Garland! The staff were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly! Although food at weddings can be so-so, many guests commented specifically at how delicious the food was and we totally agree!
The ceremony was held in the beautiful Beverly Park and the reception in the Grand Ballroom. Both sites were perfect!
We highly recommend The Garland for anyone considering a wedding or nice event! We will definitely be back for a stay or dinner at The Front Yard!

My wife and I had been to the Garland a few times before touring it, but we had no idea there was a beautiful outdoor venue hidden away in their garden. The stage was perfect for our ceremony, the area around the fountain was ideal for our cocktail house, and the Beverly Garden behind the hedges was wonderful for dinner and dancing. While there is also a ballroom available, we wanted a fully outdoor wedding and we were not disappointed.

We had spent all of summer unsuccessfully touring other wedding venues, and by the time we had toured 8 venues, we were left pretty disheartened. Every venue felt like we had to talk ourselves into why we would have our wedding there. Then, on a whim, my wife found The Garland, right under our noses in Studio City.

From the minute we walked into The Garland lobby, we felt that this place was special. The 70s vibe of the decor, the kind front desk staff, and the visibly happy guests walking in and out immediately comforted us. Then, our lovely event sales representatives, Esmeralda at the time, greeted us and took us to The Beverly Park and The Beverly Park West to show us the spaces we were interested. The moment we walked into the Beverly Park is one neither of us will forget, because we knew right away that we were getting married there. The beautiful greenery and decor made it seem as though we entered a garden, and we couldn't have imagined a better place for us to say, "I do."

During the sales process, The Garland was very understanding of both our cultures, Middle Eastern and Mexican, and was very accommodating with any traditions we needed to fulfill for ourselves and our families. They were also very transparent with the pricing and responsive with any of the million questions and "what if" scenarios we gave them. I can confidently say that every one of the promises they made us during this process was fulfilled throughout the planning and execution of the wedding itself.

After we signed our contract, some time passed, and we were introduced to our new event representative, Britney, and the supervising event manager for The Garland, Vanessa. Throughout the planning process, Britney tended to our every whim--and let me tell you, we did not make it easy. We might have over a hundred separate email threads with different questions and particular requests that both Britney and The Garland as a whole had went above and beyond to accommodate. There was never a moment in the process where we nervous or anxious, because Britney always made us feel confident that she and The Garland had our backs and would do whatever was in their power to achieve our dreams.

Then came the day of, and everything went...exactly as planned. It was perfect. Everything down to the smallest of details was perfect, and I think anyone can tell you how rare that is for any large event, let alone a wedding. The staff was incredibly attentive, and both Britney and The Garland made sure every detail of the event was set up exactly as our planner had conveyed per our wishes.

Lastly, I want to share some feedback from the guests. Every guest loved the food and had only compliments about the amazing service, which is exactly what we had experienced from the moment we walked into the lobby the very first day. No one has been able to stop talking about how beautiful the space was and how beautiful the night panned out overall.

The Garland has been an absolute dream to work with and has made our dream come true. You have no idea the bliss we feel that we were able to work with them to give our friends, families, and most of all, ourselves, a night we'll never forget.

We got married in November at the Garland and it was amazing. From the very start, working with Jasmine was wonderful. She helped us every step of the way and worked together with our coordinators to help make our event unforgettable. When we decided to check out the Garland for our wedding we had no idea they had such a beautiful space. We had the reception and cocktail hour in Beverly Park West, which is a hidden spot with trees, twinkle lights, a fountain and a fire pit. Everyone from LA who attended commented that they had no idea that this gorgeous space was here and neither did we. We had the reception in the main ballroom and it was equally as beautiful. The room is simple but classy with modern gold lighting fixtures and neutral colors that allow you to make the space your own. We also had access to the outside patio adjacent to the ballroom where we were able to stage our photobooth, guestbook and seating chart. And there are couches and heaters on that patio in case a guest wants to relax away from the festivities. The food and drinks at cocktail hour and the sit-down dinner were wonderful. Many people commented that it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. One thing that we also loved was that the cake comes with the venue - we were able to taste the cake at The Garland and that made it stress free. Not to mention it was delicious and beautiful. The hotel itself is also a great place for out of town guests. We had about 60 out of town guests and most of them stayed at the hotel and people loved it. The Garland is a hidden gem in North Hollywood and Jasmine and the rest of the staff will help you throw your dream wedding.

We selected The Garland hotel for our wedding and reception due to their magical Beverly Park setting. Dealing with Jasmine Townsend from the hotel on every detail was a dream. They made everything so easy and every single detail surpassed our expectations. We had 200 people and friends are still commenting as to how epic the wedding was and how much everyone loved the hotel. We planned a cocktail hour, ceremony, reception and special movie theater activities for the post 10pm crowd. The food, drink, facilities and staffing all were INCREDIBLE.

We held our reception in the Beverly Park at the Garland, and it could not have been a more beautiful space. The staff were incredibly kind and generous throughout the planning and on the day of. It was a wonderful experience!

Just the BEST! Can't thank Monique and Michelle enough. If you're looking for an outdoor garden-y wedding option that can feel super custom and unique to your style but also is so turnkey, seamless, and professional with minimal rentals... look no further! It was so great to have our ceremony and reception all in one place outdoors (Beverly Park, + Beverly Park West). Their food is top notch and so fun! Really feels like a celebration of Southern California. The service is incredible. Lots of outdoor patio furniture and lawn games are included in Beverly Park, which made cocktail hour feel so relaxed. You also get a free hotel room on your wedding night and an included wedding cake from Delicious Bakery- really a great deal! You can customize the menu as much as you want, with lots of fun add-on options (we opted for passed hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour in addition to a taco bar and added on ice cream sandwiches to dessert. We also got a complimentary signature cocktail (chose margaritas) and complimentary welcome champagne for all guests at the ceremony. Lots of linens and table formations to choose from as well. White garden chairs included for ceremony, but also an option to upgrade to chivari for dinner. If you need to negotiate something (parking), we found that they were very flexible and truly wanted us to have a memorable special day. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary, and look forward to dining at The Front Yard in years to come.

The Garland truly rolled out the red carpet for us as well as our family. Their staff went above and beyond accomadating every little need as well as helping to accommodate my mother in a wheelchair. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are amazing!! We even got compliments from our other vendors how great they were to them as well! We had the wedding of our dreams! And if you ever stop by look for Pablo, one of the staff members that treated us ike his own family.

When you work with the Garland for your special day, know that you are in the best hands possible. From our dining experience to the hotel stay, to the day of our wedding; the Garland delivered one of the best experiences of our lives, and we felt like we were always taken care of . Also, they offer the best catered menu I have ever had. Nothing was cold. Everything was timely. And most of all, delicious. They were exceptionally accommodating to all our requests and working with outside vendors to bring our big day to life. If you are looking for a venue with that magic you want to infuse into your event, The Garland is not only the one of the best choices in the valley, but in all of LA.

We couldn’t be happier that we had our wedding at The Garland! From our first meeting, they impressed us with great customer service, making sure we knew they were here to make our wedding day vision come to life. Our original coordinator left partway through the year, but Lindsey jumped in with professionalism and enthusiasm. Especially in the week leading up to the wedding, she was on top of every last detail and communicating with us constantly. Thanks to her, we went into the day confident that everything would go smoothly, so we were relaxed and just enjoyed the wedding!

One of our main draws was the catering connected to The Front Yard. The food was excellent—we received so many compliments from our guests, especially about the short rib that melts in your mouth. The staff made sure we were fed during the cocktail hour and reception, and we’re glad we got to enjoy the delicious food! Tony, the catering captain, was fantastic and there for whatever we needed. The cake was included in the package (we highly recommend Delicious Bakery!).

The garden is a surprisingly hidden gem behind the hotel. It’s impossible to tell that you’re close to the highway. With trees and greenery surrounding us, the backdrop of our ceremony was beautiful. We had our cocktail hour in the back of the garden, which made for an easy transition. The ballroom for our reception turned out gorgeous, especially with the flowers and uplights we added.

Overall, The Garland just made it all easy. Having an all-inclusive venue handle catering, linens, tables, ceremony space, cake, etc. simplified everything. We were so impressed with how flexible and accommodating they were. They were happy to make any customizations to their wedding packages to create the right fit for our wedding and budget. It was an incredible experience, and The Garland helped make our wedding day perfect!

Our wedding at the Garland was everything we invisioned and more, Christopher was very helpful and accommodating to anything we asked. All of our guests raved about the venue and the wedding as whole.

Our wedding coordinator Christopher Preston was a very professional and detailed individual. He listened well to our needs and responded to our email, texts, and calls in a promptly manner. From the first day of our meeting, Christopher explained everything in great detail including costs and outlook of our complete wedding. He ensured our contract was well understood by all parties and sent out in a scheduled timely manner. To the day of our wedding, Christopher made sure our needs were met no matter how big or small our requests were. Christopher set up a private appointment for our food tasting which made us feel special. He introduced us to our catering manager who was as professional as Christopher. Each meal the roasted chicken, salmon, and pasta dishes were delicious! He also had us taste the accompanying wine and champagne with our meals which were also very tasty and enjoyable.
The Beverly Park was a very beautiful venue for our October 14th wedding. Christopher took us on a tour of the venue prior to making a final decision on whether or not we wanted it in their ballroom or at their park for our evening event. On our wedding day, the staff of The Garland made the table settings for both dinner and cocktail hour as to our specific requests including our ceremony seating. Christopher also made sure the lighting of the Beverly Park were all lit. It gave our evening wedding a beautiful ambience and vibe.
The suite for our wedding night that Christopher booked for us was very comfortable and had a stylish retro vibe which we liked.
We would highly recommend The Beverly Park at The Garland Hotel to anyone who wants a romantic outdoor wedding.

My husband & I married at the Garland in Beverly Park a couple of weeks ago. We are from the UK so communication was all done via email but I couldn't believe how amazing Judith was to not only accommodate our requests for the day but she was also always there to help when we needed it! She recommended a florist & an officiant it was brilliant for us as we had no idea what we would do when we arrived! We had only seen a few photos online of the hotel & grounds but fell in love with the venue & hotel straight away! We love quirky, vintage & retro themes & this was it! We couldn't have wished for anything more! Thanks to Judith for all of your help! We also want to thank Kayli & Mario for being so kind to us on the day! We loved every second of it & it was all thanks to you guys! We will treasure our day forever & look forward to seeing you all again soon! We couldn't recommend The Garland enough! The Beverly Garland did exceptionally fantastic. They went beyond what my husband and I excepted. I loved every detailed they add from the AMAZING food, great customer service, beautiful venue, it was clean and the staff were all professional. Judith Swingler was superb. She's the best. Thank you to the Beverly Garland staff, you were all great and made our day that much more memorable.

I was very impressed with everything about the Beverly Garland. From their friendly staff to their continued responsiveness regarding details for my wedding, they made everything so easy for me. Their venue is clean, very nice, and provides great service. Everyone was also very impressed with the food. They are truly a hidden gem in the San Fernando Valley. They are affordable and flexible to your needs. I highly recommend this venue for weddings.

We were thrilled with our daughter's wedding at The Garland. The Beverly Garden was perfect for the ceremony, followed by a very friendly, comfortable ambiance in the courtyard during the cocktail hour. We had superb food and service in the ballroom afterwards. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. Following a change in personnel, Christopher Preston stepped up to the plate and took charge of our event in a very professional manner. He made sure all was attended to and was readily available when needed during the event. He was prompt in getting back to us when we had questions and concerns. Our guests were very appreciative and complimentary about the whole experience. We had a truly wonderful experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better staff or venue for my picturesque wedding. Everyone was so accommodating in every single element throughout the process. I highly, highly recommend the Garland for events and definitely your dream wedding!! It's an absolute hidden gem!!! <3

The Garland was everything we were looking for! We had our ceremony and cocktail hour in Beverly Park (which looked like a magical garden) and our reception in The Garland Ballroom and it was exactly as we imagined. Everyone complimented us on how charming the venue was and how good the food was. Many of our guests also stayed at the hotel and said the rooms and service were wonderful. If you love a retro vibe like us it will be absolutely perfect for you too!

Christopher was very accommodating and helpful planning our ceremony. The front desk staff were a little eh and unfriendly to be honest. But overall, it was a good experience. Thanks again Christopher!

My nephew's wedding was last night, it was beautiful ceremony, the open bar, the appetizers, the garden....until after two hours we entered to the venue hall, nothing on the table just empty glasses. Then after another two hours we got salads which was just a grass on the plate, then after another hour we got our meal that we previously placed the order, mine was very dry chicken in a tiny piece of mash potato. I wasn't happy with foods at all. Then this old lady server came & asked a young 26 year old guy on our table to show his ID, the guy said, there was an open bar outside no one asked me that and why are you asking me for an ID now? it was a very embarrassing moment for him in front of other young girls who were on our table who she didnt even asked them for their IDs, i think that old lady (server) should be fired for that. After that the party went on. Overall, it was a good experience just to go once....

This review is solely for the wedding coordination staff, and their lack of professionalism Over the past 2 weeks, we have been working with Jessica to get our wedding figured out with the correct venue, the correct wedding package, and we had everything figured out. Jessica took us on a tour of the beautiful grounds and we were so impressed we knew this was the place. We had a few concerns that Jessica worked with us on about trying to “Massage” the budget to get it to where we needed it. On July 21 She sent us the revised proposal. At this time, it was exactly what we wanted, the price, the meal, everything. End of the day on the 21st we tell Jessica this is perfect this is exactly what we want, and we want to come in and put down the deposit. We don’t hear anything from her on Friday, Sat she responds saying she will get back to us Sunday. On Sunday we never hear from her, and on Monday she emails us, and tells us that they have upped their spending Minimums for a Saturday, and we will need to up our spending limit, there was no warning, there was no exceptions on the proposals they sent. Nothing. I emailed asking how is this possible as none of the paperwork or bids they have set stated an expiration, or “ this is only good for” nothing like that. Just simply they are raising their rates. We had just got done telling everyone we found the perfect venue, and were waiting for her to get back to us. I called asking if there was any way possible we can go with the rates that she ALREADY QUOTED us WITHOUT ANY NOTICE of increases. She did not even try to help, she simply just babbled the same token line, that shows she really wasn’t trying to help us. From a professional standpoint, there is no way that she did not know ahead of time the rates were being raised. There is no way from a Friday agreement in principle to a Monday (when she even admitted she was not there on a Saturday) that they raised the rates and there as no mention of this to us at all.
