    Worth every dollar

    Adrienne was our day of coordinator, and having her be part of our day is what allowed our families to actually enjoy the day. She executed all of our set up dreams perfectly, was so flexible with the coordination of dropping off centerpieces and supplies. The ceremony was beautifully and calmly rehearsed. Best of all, by the end of the night everything was neatly tucked away in cars as planned and everyone was able to keep celebrating. Having Adrienne be a part of our day made it a celebration instead of work. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

    Amazing Planning Service for Out-of-State Wedding

    We used TGE's fantastic service for vendor selection, signage, planning, and coordination for our destination wedding in Estes Park. At every turn, TGE's staff was helpful, proactive, and professional in getting our special day pulled together. Every aspect of their service was perfect!

    Great experience overall

    We got a month-of-coordinator for our wedding, as our venue required at least a day-of coordinator. When I reached out to TGE I had a great conversation with Lauren Wiltshire who was able to ease all of my anxieties and tell me about how their process works. I wish I had looked into a coordinator sooner, and I love how TGE offers a package for people newly engaged just trying to figure out the best options for them! My one suggestion to people is to hire a planner! Definitely got our moneys worth.

    We were supposed to get our coordinator assigned 90 days out, but I unfortunately had to email them before getting this information. The coordinator we had initially been paired with lacked good communication, and my husband and I were worried about how the big day was going to go. Four days after we had our final walk-through with our coordinator, she was either fired or quit and we got a message from Adrienne Gardner (the president) that she would be taking over. Honestly this was such a blessing! Adrienne called us immediately to discuss our wedding plans and what we were envisioning for our big day. She got all of the details organized, made great suggestions for the day of, and contacted all of our vendors.
    I am so incredibly happy with how everything turned out. We also had an incident during dinner where we had to call 911. Adrienne was incredibly quick to respond, and kept the night moving as planned, making quick decisions on moving the guests to the other room, finishing speeches, and moving into dances and cake cutting. Although it was a scary thing for one of our guests to be carried out on a stretcher, Adrienne kept everyone calm and the night was far from ruined! I would HIGHLY recommend TGE. They made the entire rehearsal, day of, and wedding perfect!

    Flawless, above and beyond experience

    We tapped TGE for month-of coordination for our wedding in September at the Denver Botanic Gardens/ 54Thirty. We worked directly with Adrienne (President/Founder) and our experience was FLAWLESS. TGE supported us on everything from our budget to the wrangling of vendors across two venues, week of fire-drills, a well-oiled machine of a ceremony... and the list goes on. Whatever the ask TGE was there always going above and beyond. Knowing that our day was in her hands enabled me to focus on enjoying myself and not on logistics. Save yourself the headache and the stress. This team is the best and I can't recommend them enough.

    Greatest source of information and calm

    I was engaged in May of 2018 and married in September of 2019. One of the first things I did was hire TGE. I decided that having them take over a month before was all I would need. The best part was that they answered all my questions and concerns through email the entire time I was engaged. I started with Lo and then Kelly started answering questions and then eventually Adrienne took over all the up to my wedding. They have a portal you can use to keep them updated and they covered everything for me the month of so I didn't have to think about it. They were great! Highly recommend them!

    Such great service

    I cannot more highly recommend The Gardner Effect. From my first meeting with Lo to every single wedding planning meeting with Kelly, I felt like I was in great hands. I got the vendor management package in addition to the day of services and I couldn't be happier with that choice. Kelly found great options for me to choose from and was committed to answering every question I had (and there were many!) promptly and knowledgeably. The closer we got to the date, the better I felt knowing that Kelly would be there every step of the way to help me on the big day. Kelly and her assistant Gabe made our wedding day absolutely seamless. They were on top of every decor detail, every vendor interaction, and every item on the timeline. I'm sure some things went wrong on the wedding day, but I had absolutely no idea of them because Kelly took care of it. Thank you so much to Kelly for all the planning help, Gabe for helping execute such a beautiful day, Lo for her incredibly warm welcome, and all the staff at TGE! You are the best.

    July Wedding

    Adrienne and her team are a joy to work with!! They planned our wedding this summer and to say they did an amazing job would just not be enough!! From the planning stages to the communication leading up to the wedding and the day of details, as well as the thoughtful care and professionalism that they showcased, made the best day of our lives possible!     You need these guys!

    I cannot say enough about TGE and Lo. Working with them made my wedding planning so seamless! I could not imagine planning this wedding without them. From coordinating everything from timeline to vendors and day of making sure everything was perfect.

    My heros are tge!

    Seriously tho, best ever! Leading up to the big day, TGE, was easy to get in contact with, had great advice and were helpful with calming the nerves.

    As for the wedding weekend, it was PERFECT!!! I am so grateful for Kelly's calm, and ability to corral the madness (that surely was happening behind the scenes but I didn't see once!) She really gave me the ability to be completely present and focused on one true love!

    Worth their weight in gold!

    We chose The Gardner Effect off of a list of preferred coordinators that was provided by our venue; we worked with Kelly K. I was initially hesitant about hiring a coordinator; I wasn't sure that the coordinator would be worth the money as I am an organized person who has planned events before. I was wrong. The best part of the day is that Kelly seemed to always be right there when I needed her. She discreetly asked me questions as needed about minor changes to the schedule during the wedding; she made everything run smoothly and she was worth her weight in gold for me to know that I didn't have to worry about anything. During the planning process she gave me great recommendations for several vendors along the way, which I was able to contact myself. Being that we had a destination wedding, having a place to start made the process so much easier, especially because I knew the product would be great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend TGE to anyone, specifically Kelly.

    We worked with Kelly as a day of wedding coordinator and there many times we wished we had hired her to plan the full event. She did an incredible job, answering all emails within 24-48 hours, providing recommendations, solutions to challenges and truly helping us stay calm and focused on the planning. At the wedding, she was like a ninja--always there exactly at the moment you needed her. I cannot recommend her and The Gardner Effect enough. She was thorough, calming, and literally took care of anything and everything that day. If you are hesitating hiring a coordinator or planner, it is well worth it!

    Working with Kelly from The Gardner Effect was amazing, and I owe them so much for making our wedding spectacular!
    I love that they have different package options so you can select exactly the services you need. I used them for vendor management, which I highly recommend to everyone. They have trusted vendors they work with, and will give you a few options and quotes, then arrange the meetings and deal with all the logistics. This was crucial for me with a super busy job.
    On our big day, we unfortunately had a medical emergency that affected the planned timeline. Kelly immediately took charge, switched the order of cocktail hour and the ceremony, kept the guests happy and coordinated all the other vendors. If it weren't for her we probably would have had to cancel the whole thing! I can never thank Kelly, and the whole Gardner Effect team, enough!

    Adrienne was phenomenal! We interviewed a couple wedding planners and are so happy we chose Adrienne. She and her team are extremely organized and thoughtful. During the planning process Adrienne helped coordinate with vendors, handled all of our design plans and kept us up to date each step of the way. We were involved with the decision making, but Adrienne was there to flawlessly execute those plans. Every vendor that she recommended was incredible. Definitely go with her recommendations as she knows the best of the best! The weekend of our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams and everything was literally perfect! People kept telling us to not worry when things went wrong, but honestly not a single thing went wrong! Adrienne and her team beautifully executed our wishes and far exceeded our expectations. She was a joy to work with over the past year and we are so grateful to her for making our dream wedding come true!

    If you want a seamless event, then hire Adrienne and her amazing team! As a DJ, it's always refreshing to work with anyone at The Gardner Effect. I've had the pleasure of working with Adrienne, Lo & Kelly on several occasions. As a team they are extremely professional, easy to work with, keep things organized, help alleviate stress from clients and always go above and beyond what I would expect from event planners!

    We worked with Aimee from TGE and she was a DREAM. We hired Aimee as our month-of coordinator and my husband and I both agree that it was one of the best investments we made in our wedding. You can have your dream day lined up but if you don’t have someone taking care of everything for you behind the scenes then you won’t be able to enjoy it as you should. Month-of coordination was something we really had to budget for and it was worth every penny. The entire process from start to finish was easy and seamless. The organization leading up to our wedding day was on point - after the initial consultation, we simply entered in information about our wedding day into an online portal and Aimee took it from there. It was such a privilege to be able to simply enjoy our wedding day without having to make any decisions. Aimee was kind, light-hearted, organized, and hard working. If you are able, please do this for yourself and HIRE AIMEE because she is a gem.

    There are not enough words to express how wonderful The Gardner Effect was in helping plan and execute our wedding! From our first interaction with Adrienne, she was beyond helpful. She calmed my nerves when I worried how everything was going to get done, she recommended vendors when I needed, and gave me specific goals to keep me on my timeline. We used TGE as a "month of" service, but Adrienne was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, everything went perfectly. At least that's what I saw. If there were any issues, Adrienne addressed them and made sure my main focus was on getting married and having fun. She was in communication with all of our vendors the month before, and had worked with many of them previously. I never felt like "just another bride" when working with TGE. Using TGE as our wedding coordinator was by far the best decision we made in planning our wedding.

    This review come from a different perspective. We work with The Gardner Effect alot as a vendor. We really appreciate the level of professionalism we experience when working with TGE. All of our brides 100% rave about how awesome and helpful they are throughout the entire planning process. We are very happy when we get to work together and always look forward running successful events together. The vendor world for weddings can sometimes be interesting and working with TGE keeps us out of harms way :) Look no further for your next Event Coordinator for the big wedding day or any event you are planning.

    I made a great decision by choosing The Gardner Effect for my wedding planners! Along with month-of planning I chose to add on design and signage. I worked mostly with Adrienne for design and just had an awesome experience. She was so good at keeping my on track and narrowing down options for me to choose from- which is exactly the way I love to work. My wedding decor turned out absolutely gorgeous. I also worked with Lo and Susie during the wedding planning stages and on the day. They were both so very professional and I felt like I could fully trust them- which is the most important feeling to have day-of. Because of the rain I had to have my ceremony indoors, but it actually turned out better than had it been outside...It felt great to know I could count on the girls along with the florist to make the indoor space amazing. The wedding was perfect. Thank you Gardner Effect for everything!!

    Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Aimee did a wonderful job! I didn't have to think about anything that day because every vendor knew where to be and when. Having a day of coordinator was some of the best money we spent! We also appreciated all of the vendor tips and advice leading up to the day. I would 100% recommend Adrienne and her team for any wedding!

    We used Adrienne and her team for day of coordination. They were invaluable in helping us plan. A great resource for vendor selection, problem solving, and decor ideas. Adrienne ran our rehearsal and it was on point, keeping everyone focused an be organized. It led to the most perfect day... Everything was beautiful and I barely remember seeing her or her staff as they keep working to make sure everything behind the scenes is going perfectly.     We debated on using a wedding planner but hiring Adrienne and her team at The Gardner Effect was one of the best decisions we made. We had two separate events (Friday/Saturday night) and Adrienne coordinated both. Her recommendations and input on vendors and decor helped us with our initial planning stages, and even led to a few discounts. The real benefit came into play, however, during the month before the wedding. She coordinated our walk-throughs and worked through all the details - full of experienced advice and addressing many issues we would have never thought of. Her pleasant but thorough demeanor was just what we needed. The vendors we selected were always relieved when they discovered she was the coordinator. She kept us on track with emails and answered all phone calls promptly. During the events, Adrienne and her team coordinated all vendors, made just-in-time decisions (dancing indoor or outdoor?) and took care of last minute "emergencies" seamlessly. In the end, my family, friends, and especially my husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding without having to worry about anything but having a great time. I would HIGHLY recommend her services.

    I can't say enough great things about Lauren Wiltshire - she was absolutely amazing! We hired Lauren for day of coordination for our 9/17 wedding in Bailey, CO and honestly I can't imagine the day without her. She recommended vendors, created our day of timeline, coordinated with all vendors, and setup all of our decorations exactly how we envisioned. Lauren was responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process and always made a point to ask me how I was doing and make sure I wasn't getting too stressed. She really understands great customer service! Our wedding day was flawless and it was so nice to have her and her team there to take down decorations and clean up after the reception. She even mailed all of our decorations back to us! If you're looking for wedding planning/coordination help of any kind I highly recommend Lauren!

    From day one I connected with Adrienne, we became quite close in the year we worked together for my big day. She truly is amazing at what she does. She's always there if you need ANYTHING and is so incredibly detailed with her planning process that you feel like everything is perfect from the get go.

    Adrienne and her team are fantastic. Their professionalism and ability to handle any and all situations surrounding our wedding was really impressive. Also, they are just cool people.

    Adrienne is the reason our wedding happened. Completely. I don't know what we would have done without her! We planned this wedding from across the country, and Adrienne was able to coordinate with all the vendors and made sure everything came together smoothly. Given that there was a 2 hour time difference and a flight involved, Adrienne was very accommodating to our schedule, meeting me on the one afternoon I had available to be local. During the actual wedding she made sure the right people were in the right place, and if anything went wrong I don't know about it since she took care of us. There was one slip-up with the table assignments, which was completely my fault, but Adrienne was incredibly professional about it and handled everything. I can't say anything more positive.

    I have meant to write a review for The Gardner Effect for a while now, but every time I go to write a review I am left speechless. What Adrienne did for me I can not find the words to express how grateful I am. From the moment my mother, aunt, and I made the decision to hire her as the day of coordinator I was amazed on her consistent contact, handling of my vendors, and professionalism. She kept the peace between my mother and I, stood in my corner when she felt I was overwhelmed by the enormity of the day and the pressures of others. When I sat down for dinner, she had a plate of food ready with every morsel of food the caterer had offered. When my bustle came undone, she was putting it back together. There were special flourishes to my decor I know she helped round out, like the signs by the guest book and the wedding pies! She was there helping my sorority sisters coordinate a special cheer in my honor, and she was there to grab me when a few relatives wanted to me to Skype with my grandma for a minute. If anything went "wrong," I will never know, because she was running a tight ship! So, if you are wondering if you need a day-of-coordinator/wedding planner, DO IT. Adrienne and The Gardner Effect is exactly what you need to keep your sanity, peace with your family/fiance/friends, and enjoy your wedding day without your cell phone ringing off the hook!

    Adrienne is amazing. We met and signed a contract for day-of coordination a little less than a year before our wedding. Even though it's called "day of," it's really much more than that. Adrienne sent me vendor recommendations along the way and checked in via email every so often during the planning process. A few months before the wedding, she sent all of the checklists and answered more and more of my questions. I'm a pretty organized control freak, but I couldn't have done it without Adrienne. It was so nice to have someone to consult with. Adrienne attended our walkthrough and confirmed with all of our vendors. She ran our rehearsal, which went great, especially since our officiant had never officiated before. We gave her all of the décor at our rehearsal, and I didn't have to worry about any set-up for the wedding. Everything was exactly as I'd wanted! During the wedding, Adrienne kept us on schedule, and we were able to really enjoy our reception (and we made it to our cocktail hour, which was one of our goals!). I recently attended a wedding which didn't have professional coordination, and I could really feel the difference. Having Adrienne made our day so much more relaxing, and our friends and family didn't have to worry about setup either! Definitely hire a day-of coordinator, and it should be Adrienne or a member of her team! Thank you!!!!

    Adrienne was simply the best decision I made during the planning process! I never realized the value added when having a day-of wedding planner. I could not imagine our day going the way it did without her attention to details and instinct. She had an immense amount of experience working with Crooked Willow Farms staff and all of the vendors.     As a couple with so many things on our plate, having The Gardner Effect to assist with all of the moving parts that were needed to put together the wedding that we thought we could have only dreamed of was truly a life saver. The planners were flexible and motivating throughout the process. Their communication was stellar; their leadership and ability to delegate and relay messages to all of the wonderful staff truly made our big day feel like a walk in the park! When things felt stressful they were marvelous at helping to ease our nervousness and assure us that everything will be taken care of (assurances that they time and time again made certainties).

    Adrienne was our Same-Day Wedding Coordinator, and my daughter and I could not have been happier with her services. Early on, she provided a very detailed and organized outline/schedule for us to follow for our wedding preparations, and then 1 month prior, Adrienne met us in Vail to do a walk-through of our venue with us, help us finalize the florals with the florist, and be there in every way possible. She also, on her on accord, made a second trip to Vail to meet with our Vail Wedding Deck contact to go through the timeline with her in great detail, ironing out all the specifics and tweaking as needed. At the rehearsal, she was super organized and competent, and the day of the wedding/reception, I would have been stressed to the hilt had I not had Adrienne to keep everything moving in an organized, systematic way, to be our coordinator for all of our vendors (she actually began this part of her job 1 month prior to the wedding date), and to set up our reception venue just the way we had envisioned. She kept everything and us all on schedule all day and into the evening/night with her exceptional attention to detail, carrying out all the particulars, and just being a great person to know and work with. I highly recommend Adrienne for her excellent services in making your (or your daughter's) wedding day a dream day and not a day of worry and stress. :)

    Adrienne was an absolute heaven send for us. What a lucky find!! We planned a destination wedding in Evergreen from Phoenix, Arizona and were referred to Adrienne from our venue for day of coordination. We really did not want our friends or family to have to worry about anything on our wedding, so a day coordinator was just what we needed. She really provided so much more than that though. Adrienne provided vendor recommendations, timelines, rehearsal, walk through appointment consultations with caterer and venue and she took over all of our contracts a couple weeks out and confirmed with all of our vendors. She even returned items to our baker and florist so we didn't have to worry about it during our short time in town. She literally took away any stress of the day and we were able to have a blast on our wedding. She was always in the background and everything that we needed to get done was literally done flawlessly without her being visible (I mean this in the best way possible, she was like this little miracle ghost. As someone who plans a lot of corporate events, you always want to be unseen and Adrienne has mastered this skill). The best decision we made during our wedding planning was definitely hiring Adrienne. I would recommend her a 100 times over, hands down, to any couple.

    Adrienne is by far the best wedding planner in the state! I hired her as a day of coordinator and yet she was answering all kinds of questions for me more than 10 months before the wedding. Two weeks before the wedding she reduced my stress level immensely as she took over as point of contact and dealt with all the possible mishaps and communication issues with other vendors. During the rehearsal, she made everyone feel important and helped everyone understand exactly what to do from beginning to end. On the day of, she completely set up all of my decorations, dealt with EVERYONE, including those pesky guests and family members, and all I had to do was sit in my bridal suite and sip my mimosas.

    Adrienne made my wedding a dream come true!

    I was required to get a Day of Wedding Coordinator for my venue. I had no idea what that entailed, but I am so glad I hired Adrienne and The Gardner Effect. Adrienne was fantastic; she gave me decorating advice, vendor referrals, provided a wedding day itinerary, and contacted all my vendors before the wedding to make the final arrangements.     Where do I even begin... We worked with Adrienne and Lauren on our wedding for month of coordination, and they were sent directly from heaven. From the moment I met them I knew that they were going to be the people to help our wedding run smoothly and we were not disappointed. They were amazing from the first meeting until the last minute of the event. Adrienne responded to every email and every phone call immediately and nothing was ever a problem or too much for her to handle. Adrienne took over all contact with our vendors 2 weeks before the wedding, so we could just relax and know everything was taken care of. During the wedding they made sure that my husband I didn't lift a finger and we were able to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the party with our friends and family. They checked in with us magically throughout the night to make sure we were ok, made sure we had a drink in hand if we wanted one, and somehow always made sure we had some food near us. They made sure the party ran on time without being pushy. Adrienne and Lauren kept everyone calm I can't thank them enough for making our wedding the best day of our life!     I chose a venue in the Golden Gate Canyon State Park, which means, we had to do everything ourselves. Originally, I thought my family and I could just decorate and do all the set up - but after thinking it through, I really wanted my wedding party and parents to enjoy the day instead of rushing around trying to get everything done - not to mention, the park was 30 minutes from the nearest town AND has no cell reception. I am so glad I hired Adrienne - she was always very professional and quick to answer my many long emails and questions. Considering the few things that didn't go as planned, I can't imagine what it would have been like had I not had Adrienne there to take care of things and get things back on track! I really got to enjoy the day with my family instead of worrying about the schedule and decorating/tear down. Thank you Adrienne!

    Adrienne Gardner was incredible. As the mother of the bride, I live in Chicago, the bride for the year prior to the wedding was in China, the groom lives in Phoenix, and the wedding was in Lake Dillon, Colorado. So, as you can imagine, there were some challenges!
    Adrienne's responsiveness and organization checklists in place guided my focus. As questions came up on how to do things, Adrienne was so clear and willing to give options and direction. Our vendors commented how pleasantly surprised she touched base with them, and commented how she freed them up to do a better job.
    The skype session we had were so telling of her style, her warm professionalism made us relax and at ease. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. I can honestly say her involvement allowed me to relax and appreciate each part of the weekend! HEARTFELT THANKYOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID TO MAKE THIS EXPERIENCE SO INCREDIBLE!!!

    I can't say enough wonderful things about Adrienne and the quality of service and expertise she provided to us throughout our engagement and wedding day. Every question (or concern) was met with a smile, professionalism, positive attitude, and most importantly a SOLUTION!     We hired Adrienne for day coordination of our wedding and could not have been more pleased. The service she provided was beyond strictly "day of" work. She kept track of all vendors and made confirmation calls to all of them. Her attention to detail is unsurpassed. I'm a list maker and I love that Adrienne is too. She made a time line to keep the whole event on point. It was great. On the morning of our wedding we found out our musician had a family emergency and the band could not perform. I appreciate that Adrienne was up front with me about the situation. She worked hard to find another band and also came with second plan if needed. Throughout the whole wedding Adrienne was present and helpful. I don't have enough kind words to express how great it was working with her. Simply put, she's amazing.

Even from Denver she planned the perfect day in Vail for me and my fiance.     The best decision we made with my daughters wedding was hiring Adrienne Gardner- the Gardner Effect. Our wedding was in Vail and we live in Chicago...but with Ms. Gardner at the helm, we never worried. She is a poised, polished, patient and persistent coordinator. She is accessible, has amazing follow-thru, and not only gets the job done, but does it with and smile on her face...which leads to one on yours. The day of my daughter wedding was PERFECT... Even when the bride had a dress mishap, Adrienne had a sewing kit and literally mended things together. No drama - no matter what the issue was..She just fixed whatever it was and our wedding was perfect again. My husband and I danced, laughed and enjoyed our guest because Adrienne Gardner handled every detail, even the 1leftover shoe.     Booking Adrienne as the event coordinator was probably the best money we spent on our wedding. Well, her and the photo booth :) She was not only the best value I found when researching coordinators, she was just an awesome person to work with. She went above and beyond throughout the planning process, was extremely responsive any time I needed anything and helped us create the most perfect day. Our wedding and rehearsal went so smoothly with her help. There were so many things we would have been totally lost on if it weren't for her. Our friends and family loved her and recognized the value she brought to us. My husband and I said several times that hiring her was the best thing we could have done for ourselves for the wedding.

    Adrienne was THE PERFECT coordinator! I couldn't have pulled it off without her. She was responsive, helpful, waited on us hand and foot, made sure everything went at smoothly as possible! I can't say enough nice things about her, she was THAT good! We had concerns about the venue, and she made sure that it was a non-issue. Seamless is how she made everything seem, even though I know she must've been working hard in the background.     Adrienne and The Gardner Effect were amazing to work with. She was nothing but helpful and supportive throughout our wedding planning process. From our first meeting to our venue walk through she was communicative and helpful--offering information and suggestions. Then, starting two-weeks out (which is when the majority of her service started for our package) she took over--I literally didn't have to worry about anything from then on. She confirmed all of our vendors, reminded me about information that she needed, and made sure that everything was perfect. She ran a great (fast and efficient) rehearsal and answered everyone's questions. Then, on the day of the event she dealt with some last minute changes (to guest list, decorations, etc.), made the space look amazing (seriously-it looked so good!), and took care of everything when we realized that the weather wasn't going to hold out and we had to move the whole event inside. All of our other vendors complimented her highly and said that they would love to work with her again (Occasions Catering and Quality Mobile Sound), and our friends and family all thought she was great. She was so sweet and kind to our family, but I also knew that I could trust her to get things done. I would recommend her to anyone who needed an event planner.

    I hired Adrienne for Day of Coordination for my wedding, but she went above and beyond for my event! Not only did she organize my rehearsal and coordinate the day, but spent, I am sure, many hours corralling my vendors to get everyone on the same page and ensuring that details for my wedding weren't missed! I have no idea how my wedding would have come together without her. It rained during my outdoor wedding so we had to make some last minute changes which went seamlessly (as far as I know)! Everything was setup beautifully and perfect under her direction without me or my family and friends having to stress or worry! And I had a lot of details to execute! She was worth every penny and more!

Not only is she fun to work with she is unbelievably organized. Always communicating with us and making sure that all was set and ready. She took all of our elements that we had and put them together beautifully- very talented. I would NOT hesitate to use Adrienne's services in the future- Thank you so much again!!!!

    We worked with Adrienne from The Gardner Effect for our wedding on June 22, and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. Her organization and enthusiasm were evident from the beginning of the planning process, and she went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding went off without a hitch. She even made a makeshift bouquet for a bridesmaid 5 minutes before the ceremony when we realized that we were missing a bouquet. She did such a wonderful job, and is someone that I would want as a friend even if she weren't helping coordinate our wedding. I can't recommend The Gardner Effect highly enough!

    Worth every penny!

    After speaking with a number of coordinators (I'm big on doing my research!) we opted for TGE and worked with Kelly K. as a day of/month of wedding coordinator. She did a really great job providing recommendations for other vendors, answering all emails (within a few days in the weeks leading up to the event and within hours the week of the event). We truly felt everything was covered which took a lot of stress of our plates prior to the wedding. On the wedding day, she came through big time - we had some crazy Colorado weather to contend with before the ceremony and the potential for more during the reception, which meant we had to call some audibles that day. Even with the changes she kept us on track and our guests were none the wiser. Would definitely recommend Kelly (and TGE) again. She got stuff done with a calm presence, ensuring the day went as smoothly as possible - Exactly what I was looking for in a coordinator. Our wedding was truly the best day yet, in large part thanks to Kelly's coordination efforts!

    Made Our Wedding A Breeze!

    Kelly & Jenny made sure our day went off without a hitch! As a month of coordinator, Kelly was contacting vendors and dealing with little details several weeks out. On our wedding weekend, their calm demeanor and excellent organization ensured that our wedding was everything we dreamed it could be.

    We hired Adrienne as a day of coordinator for our October wedding reception. We were married in a church, but held the reception at the Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. Since we could not get into the venue until the morning of (and we had a reception that was going to start at 12) we needed Adrienne to get everything set up for us; she did a lovely job! The more complicated decorations I had were all put up nicely, the barn looked very much like I had envisioned, and she even took pictures for us so we could see everything before the guests arrived. While it would have been nice to have a little bit more done with the flowers on each table (we had a lot of free stems left over) she still made sure that every table looked complete and pretty. That being said, I would recommend to future brides not to have your coordinator have to do too much with the flowers when you have a lot of other decorations you want put up. Leading up to the wedding Adrienne was a great resource for recommendations and always responded to my emails quickly. Adrienne was willing to make all the announcements during the reception since we did not have a DJ, and made sure that all the vendors ate at appropriate times. What I liked most about having Adrienne as a part of our day, however, was her positive attitude, sense of calm, and how organized she was during the reception. When I was worried about the time or if everything was running according to plan, she not only kept us on track with our schedule, but helped me feel more at ease by just being cool and collected herself.

    We held our daughter's wedding in our yard and it would have been so much more difficult without The Gardner Effect. They kept everything very organized up to and through the big day itself and were with us until after the last vendor had left. I would recommend them to anyone!!

    Adrienne and her team worked with my vision and my budget to create my dream wedding. They also worked with several new vendors (at my request) and did it with ease. I did not live in the location of my wedding, so knowing that she was taking care of everything 1,500 miles away took away so much stress. If I had to do it all over again I would 100% hire The Gardener Effect.
    Adrienne knows when to listen and when to make suggestions. She can also tie one hell of a bow!
    Kelly, her assistant was everywhere but remarkably invisible. Whenever we needed her, there she was, and the rest of the times she was behind the scenes keeping everything moving smoothly. I really enjoyed having her support throughout the day.

    Adrienne, with The Gardner Effect, is absolutely amazing... I couldn't have gotten through my wedding without her!! She was on top of everything, and made sure it all turned out perfect. I'll admit I was a skeptical about hiring a wedding coordinator, as I'm pretty picky, but Adrienne was so easy to work with. I needed someone who had experience, was organized, and like-minded when it came to adhering to our budget while still bringing out the big guns, and that's her! Of all the decisions that had to be made for our wedding, hiring her was the best one! Thank you, Adrienne, for everything:-)

    We worked with Kelly at TGE and hiring them was the biggest regret we have of our wedding day. We had weather issues the day of our wedding, it looked cloudy and Kelly thought it might rain. Our dream was to have dinner outside with the beautiful mountains in the background. The entire reason we picked the venue we did was for this view. This dinner was the most important part of the wedding to us. Kelly did not advocate for us and our vision. Rather it felt like she railroaded us into moving our dinner site to under a tent where we were planning on dancing later in the evening. Of course, it didn’t rain. At all. Not a single drop. I know she can’t be expected to predict the weather accurately she is not a meteorologist. But she was looking at radars saying two storms were coming with such confidence and all the time the weather app on my phone said no chance of rain. She wanted what was convenient for her and the caterers which was to move everything under the tent. She didn’t care that I was upset or that I had my heart set on having dinner outside. She didn’t advocate for me and my husband and our vision. If you want someone on your side the wedding day, its not TGE. They will do what’s best for the other vendors not what’s best for you. If you want someone who is there for you on your wedding day, and is there to execute your vision then find a planner that will really go to bat for you. We wish we had. We also had issues with her later in the evening; when it came time do our cake cutting she was no where to be found and my husband and I spent half an hour looking for her and sending others to look for her so we could cut our cake.

    She did do a good job of executing our details but ultimately she failed to advocate for us and our vision and ruined our special day.

    Nearly Ruined our Wedding

    This event coordinator group is absolutely incompetent! DO NOT USE THEM!
    They may have some good people in this group, but the wedding coordinator that we used was absolutely awful and really added stress to a day that didn't need it. She was fine up until the actual wedding day.
    Here is a list of things she did the day of the wedding:
    - Didn't coordinate with the wedding photographer so we never got to take pictures with our bridesmaids and groomsmen, really disappointed with that. She should have let the photographer know we were all ready and coordinate with her to get us downstairs to take pictures, the photographer didn't know where we were or that we were ready for her.
    - My fiancé asked when he should be ready to take pictures with his groomsmen and her response was, 'I don't know, that's not my problem'
    - Didn't have a wedding day time line, all our events had to be coordinated on the fly between my mother, myself, my groom, and one of my best friends
    - The ceremony started 30 minutes late because she disappeared for about an hour and no one knew if we should start or what was going on
    - When we took our family portraits she was supposed to help the photographer round everyone up (I have a big family) instead my mom had to do this with the photographer. This caused the photographer to have to constantly reposition, which ended up with us only getting to take half the photos we wanted, especially since the ceremony start was delayed.
    - When we were supposed to have our entrance to the reception, we waited in the area that we 'hid' for 25 minutes before some came to TALK to us, and the assistant that talked to us didn't know when we were going down to the reception OR when the bridal party was going down....delaying the wedding events even more at this point
    - She did not coordinate with the DJ so he did not know when the bridal party was entering or when we were, he also missed some announcements, like cake cutting, the photo booth opening up, and where our guest book was, because she 'forgot' to relay those messages
    - During the cake cutting she had us cut into the wrong cake, we had a big one for everyone and then grooms cake that wasn't supposed to be cut. I found that out later when my mom told me. This caused no one to eat the cake we spent a good amount of money on, because no one knew that they were allowed to eat it. Another thing she could have relayed to ANYONE.
    - We had to take half of our couples pictures AT NIGHT so we only had a few that actually turned out from that. Silver lining though, one of my husband’s favorite pictures is one that turned out from the night time pictures.
    In summary. We really wanted someone to help take the wedding day responsibilities and help reduce the stress of the day. She ADDED a TON of stress to this day. We missed so much we wanted to do because of how late we were, we danced to three whole songs and that was it, then we got rushed out to do our exit. It was extremely disappointing. This was our day and we wanted to spend time with our friends and family and be able to commemorate this wonderful day, but because of how terrible this wedding coordinator was, we felt like we lost out on so much. I was so sad about what happened because we will never get this day back. Maybe I was naïve in thinking that a wedding coordinator was supposed to make sure all this happened, but I had to make sure future brides at least had this knowledge so that they don't have their wedding treated so poorly by this company. Everyone deserves a beautiful, wonderful, memorable wedding day and it almost seemed like this wedding coordinator wanted to make sure that didn't happen for us.
